In the beginning, there were delays in having GCS withdraw from my bank due to differences in how my name was listed. During that three month delay, it was hard getting replies to emails. Thankfully this has been resolved! So far debts are being handled quickly!

I appreciated Sherry's friendliness and how she took her time to explain everything to me. I was every nervous about doing this. She made me feel at ease. She answered all my questions, and her feedback was great. She was very pleasant and very understanding of my concerns.

I am happy with the experience I've had. Debt is such a hard and stressful thing to deal with and Linda has made it all much easier. While I am still a little uneasy with the thought of affecting my credit, I know this is what I really need to do in the long run. I was overall very pleased with the entire process with FDR. The client dashboard is very useful tool in managing your account and tracking your process. You can effectively communicate your questions/concerns and receive prompt answer in reasonable amount time. I was pleased with option of settling accounts faster with loan program. That process quick online although interest rate very high but no prepay penalty if you shop after for better interest rate. Feels great to be debt free after years of paying a lot of interest on credit cards.

UPDATED 3/10/2021: Throughout my enrollment years, they have consistently negotiated with all of my creditors for a satisfactory resolution. This has always allowed me to be trouble-free over debt owed. All of my enrolled debt has now been settled and I am debt free. Thank you, Freedom Debt Relief.

Without using Freedom company I would be buried with bills and wouldn't be able to fix my credit. So happy to use this service and to be able to finish in 3 to 4 years. So I can rebuilt my future for my son.

I have been with the debt relief program for 7 months now and it has been the best experience. I didn't want to choose bankruptcy and I didn't want to just not pay the bills but I had gotten in way over my head and I had no way out. I looked into this and now my bills are being paid through this Program. The counselors work with you step by step and are always there to answer questions and guide you to the next step. I hope I will never have to use this program again but I will always guide someone who needs help to them. They are awesome.

I appreciate how I was treated with kindness and understanding by Doug. The process was painless dealing with him and Client Services. I especially like idea of changing my contact information to FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF for all my credit cards.

Before speaking with FDR I was not able to breathe. But since I have signed up with them I am able to breathe and no longer have to deal with the daily collection calls. Thank you FDR for getting me back on track with my life.

When you first sign up they tell you they will call and negotiate with the creditors. In the 6 months I have been with them they have done nothing to negotiate, however they do the opposite. They will wait till you have saved up money and pay what is owed. Starting with the lowest amount first. In the mean time the interest continues to rise. I can only assume this is so that they may obtain larger percentages in their own payment. Meanwhile you better contact the credit cards yourself because they sure won't. And if you don't call them then you are at risk of going to court as the other reviews have stated. They will not stick up for you and only tell you to go to court. Avoid this whole scam and call them yourself or get a lawyer.

Updated on 08/20/2020: Freedom Debt Relief's customer service was really good. If I had questions, I could call in and they would always have operators there that answered my questions. I never hung up feeling like they didn't care or my questions were unresolved. I even had some accounts that went into litigation and I had picked up the extra services from National Litigation, which was included in my monthly bill. I just sent all the paperwork to them and they took care of everything there. So, they were really easy to deal with. We're halfway through the process. All the debts have been settled and they’re in the process of being paid off.

I have a good experience so far with both client service associates and the legal team. I have no bad issues at this time. Everything is going well. I look forward to being able to get my debt resolved and all taken care of.

My experience has been wonderful. I started with FDR 5 months ago and they have settled 3 accounts already. I am so grateful and would recommend them to anyone. I was losing sleep because of all the debt I had that I wasn't able to pay. Now with FDR I can see myself becoming debt free.

I like when Freedom call me to ask me to authorize a settle. That gives me peace and I can sleep much better!!! Thank you! The creditor that used to worried me the most was American Express, because they called me so much and I had a default. I thought that I was going to paid all my debt in full, but I am only paying around 60%.

Scott was very polite, and was very thorough explaining how the services work. He explained point by point in every situation. Told me exactly how it works and not to worry that he and the rest of the company would be here for me throughout the entire process.

I am really happy with the help I am getting from Freedom Debt Relief. I could not give a five star review, because although I will be free from my debt problems soon, My months to pay became longer than before. My wife and I could have just continued with the monthly payments until September 2019, but because of the explanation given to us, we had to agree with the longer payments of the same amount just to get rid of the pesky debt collector. I wish we could make the payments shorter.

Pleased with Freedom settling some of my accounts. Only disappointment I have is others are still calling over and over every day. If all calls would stop I would be overwhelmed. When I call them they try very hard to solve my concerns. Job well done.

Customer service reps are not nice and have an attitude. At least 3 times I've hung up because they are rude when answering questions. If I hadn't already signed a contract I for sure would take my business elsewhere. When you ask for things to be mailed out they don't even do that for you.

We have only been with Freedom Debt Relief for several months. The phone has rung 10-15 times per day 7 days a week. So far we have not answered any unknown numbers. Hopefully that will cease soon. It seems to take awhile to get the ball rolling.

When my debt counselor told me we were done and I was on my way to financial freedom, tears welled up in my eyes. It's been 3 months since I started making payment with Freedom Debt Relief, and I don't see any result. The creditors are calling me. The cards are still charging me for payment past due dates. My credit score is lowering at a scary pace. I can't even find jobs that I apply to because Freedom debt relief asked me to change my address from my credit cards profiles and put theirs, which I did, but seems like this move got the background check office confused between my real address and the freedom debt relief. I am really concerned about my credit future and can't really tell if I made a good choice.

Updated on 03/19/2019: Freedom Debt Relief is doing great work for me. They’ve already done about seven settlements and if there were any legal issues or summons, they had an LLG that helped me out quite a bit. Any issues were taken care of, so it all worked out well. This month and for six months, they need an extra $50 because they started a new settlement, so I did that. Also my consultant was on time and very helpful. I got emails, I sent everything back and he'd give me a reply right away. I could also call him on the phone, and he’d call me. It felt very cozy.

I just want to say that the customer service that this company shows is amazing in so many ways. I will recommend anyone that is looking for debt relief for sure. This company is the only one that I have ever dealt with that cares about the people who come to them for help and assistance.

This experience started off great but ended horribly. It reminded me of buying a new car - once they get what they need and your money, you are just another number. I had a unique situation that no one was willing to think outside the box. I tried a few suggestions but all they told me was "you pay what we say or we drop you and oh, if we drop you, we take all of your money - it is our fee". BS. Rude people and not one willing to work off the "script". Too bad - I will be telling everyone I know how bad this was as well as broadcasting on my Facebook and any other media I can use.

I am very nervous about the program as I have had very negative remarks on my credit report even though I have tried to show diligence in paying off what I can. So I guess it will be a phrase of "THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING" when I am finished.

This company hires salespeople who know how to scam people. They claim they are better than the other resolution companies (one I had tried and did nothing) because they don't charge until debt is settled and they use structured settlements. They lie about everything. They leave out the fact you will need 35% of your debt for them to even notify the company they are handling the debt. They will settle one account and do nothing more. In my case, they inherited a debt I should have just handled myself but the other company was an even bigger fraud so it was now in legal status. They did absolutely nothing to get their huge fee. Then they refused to negotiate anything else despite me adding more and more money to the account. I wanted a particular account handled but they wouldn't even call on it until a court account was settled but then they refused to contact NLG and NLG refused to respond.

I have been very happy with this Freedom. If I have any question about my account, I call and they are so helpful. They don't make me feel uncomfortable. They answer all my questions. One of my creditors have already been paid off. I am looking forward to paying off more.

I don't feel you are doing what you promised. I think my creditors are headed to wage garnishment. You made it sound be like you would negotiate the debt but you settled only one in almost 6 months. The smallest account now owes double the original balance and more than the one item I bought. I find it hard to believe you do not have enough funds to settle more.

This company gets a gold star for customer care and explaining the entire process. They have treated me with dignity and respect through the whole process. They take the time to explain aspects of whole program. You enroll your debt and make payments on an agreed on schedule. This allows them to negotiate and get your debt reduced.

From my initial contact with Michelle ** to all the customer service personnel, the service has been first class and the people you hire are a credit to your brand. I almost went with another company but because of the amount of work that Michelle put in I decided to stay with you all. She is a first class sales person.

So far the program has been fantastic. I have settled one account and waiting to settle two additional accounts. I am looking forward to being debt free in 2 years if all goes well. I did; however, think that my last two accounts would have been negotiated by now, but understand these things take time.

She even gave me her cellphone number. After I join the program, I did call her many times. She always answered or respond shortly with same nice manner that made my heart calmed. Six months passed, Two settlement is been made. Both debt reduced a little bit more than half with no interest. I am satisfied. I like share my experience with you and hope you will get a relief soon.

So far it's been great, we're about 6 months into the program. We were swimming in debt after being a one income household for over 8 years. Freedom Debt Relief has helped us get our finances back on track with once a month payments that are about 50% less than what we were paying to our creditors. Their customer service has been great. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 and not a 5 is because the legal team they are partnered with doesn't return phone calls. They should probably look into partnering with someone that's as helpful as they are. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family. BTW, I am a real client and am not receiving any compensation for this review.
