I've been working with Freedom Debt Relief for over a year now. After being in and out of work for over a year I was always in a bind, The alternative from Bankruptcy was FDR. I can't say anything negative at all with this company. I have had absolutely no issues with the professionalism, the knowledgeable staff, and my debt getting resolved in a timely manner. All around great experience so far. Thank you.

Customer service couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. They treated me with the utmost respect. However my account seems to be outdated. I have satisfied accounts outside of the program but despite my notifications they have not been reflected. They include Discover and Barclays Bank.

After my separation I was left with a whole lot of credit bills. Thanks to Freedom Debt Relief I am on my way to a new start. The process at first look and felt long. Not having to deal with those bills I didn't notice how fast time has past and I am almost done with my burden. They are great working with what you can a month. However, when you have extra money you can add to your account to give them a little more power to negotiate.

Freedom Debt Relief is one of my wife and I better idea. They have done everything that they told us at the start. I think that is one the best recommendation anyone can give a company. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about using this company. They’re very good.

The Debt Relief Program has been very helpful in addressing creditor payment after a devastating life experience. Job loss was a result of military service disability. Income went from $43,000 a year to $$15,000 and early IRA drawdown. I was headed to bankruptcy, but this option prevented bankruptcy. Working part-time now and have had good success in the program.

After my daughter passed away from kidney failure I helped her son and daughter (17) pick up the pieces of their life and move on. I would recommend this program to others. I would explain your debtors are not negotiated all at once at the beginning of your program. Your debtors are negotiated one at a time. This was confusing to me when I first started the program. I love you can go on the computer any time and check on your progress. Keep up the good work!

The main problem I had was nobody would keep me informed in what was going on with the progress of any upcoming resolving of debt. Need more contact with client and not rely on the dashboard. You did take care of all the debt I had.

I feel like I've had no contact. No phone calls concerning my last three accounts. I wish someone would have contacted me to let me know what's going on instead of me contacting them. I would hope in the future that someone will be contacting me and helping me understand what is going on.

We were originally told all our debts on your program would be settled in 4 years. Now it appears to be about 6 months longer than that. We also weren't aware that the settlement fees would be as high as they are nor did we know there is a $10 check fee for each installment you make to our creditors on our behalf. Otherwise, we are happy with the amounts for which our accounts have been settled this far.

Things easily got out of hand with credit card debt. I was barely hanging on with making the minimum payments on most of my credit cards. Thank goodness I heard about Freedom Debt Relief. I spoke with a very kind and informative representative who helped me get set up in the program. I just pay them a specified amount every month, and they take care of paying my creditors. They even helped when one of my creditors threatened a lawsuit. Now I'm about halfway through the program and I can actually see the end of the tunnel. After my hospitalization in December of 2014 for diabetes I was put on two insulins and three medications. All very expensive even after insurance. Over $2000 a month and had to wait for six months to get on Medicare. Called all card companies. Being up to date on all payments I was running out of money. They would not work with me at all. It was not an easy decision for me to consolidate my debt, but then I spoke to a representative at Freedom and they made it sound like a great idea. I enrolled with Freedom in 2012. Here I am in 2017. Was suppose to be done last month after 4 years and 8 months of this BS and if I wouldn't of check online I would have never known it was going to continue. With having access to the online portal it shows how much you have in your account to have creditors paid off and there was more than enough to pay it in full. Be better off going bankrupt and waiting 7 years than going through this joke of a company.

I was quite please with Freedom Debt Relief. I had 5 accounts in the program. Two of these were handled almost immediately. The third on was the largest and a deal was struck and payments were made over a couple of months. Then, it seemed that I was stuck with 2 small accounts that just didn't go anywhere. I called them and was always told that something would be done in a matter of weeks. Still waiting.

Great company and program, just wish a bit faster on resolving the debts. The customer support is good, but need more definite answers for planning. The concept is great and helps out in a big way. I would recommend Freedom to anyone that needs to get out of debt.

I was feeling buried in debt. I literally heard an ad on the radio and decided to call. That was one of the better decisions I've made. They came up with a payment plan I could sustain, but more importantly I've learned that I can easily get by without credit cards. It was challenging at first. Company not great with communication. I have two garnishments even though I reached out to the company when I got notices before they had happened. I never heard back from the company and the garnishments went through. Other than that payment they set up is reasonable to pay off debts. The garnishments on the other hand are not.

The majority of my debt was resolved in a reasonable amount of time. One debt was reported as being paid off but one year later I discovered that the final payment was not paid. It was an effort to get that issue resolved. The last debt to be paid remained on the account for more than one year even though I had enough funds in my account to resolve it. Customer service repeatedly said that it would be looked into, but nothing was done. Recently I was told that the debt was "written off" but it was my responsibility to prove that to Freedom before my account can be closed.

The whole program has been working great for me. Easy to do. Everyone is very helpful and questions are answered in a timely fashion. It made for a less stressful time for me. I would recommend this program to anyone who is drowning in debt.

I am very disappointed in Freedom Debt Relief. It started out to be a 44 month program. We even paid more a month to finish early. Things went well for about 3 or so years. Accounts were being settled in a timely fashion. We were to be debt free Nov. 2016. That date kept changing. I feel we were misled. We were even told at one point there would be extra money coming back to us because we had more than enough money in the account to settle everything. Nothing more has been done in months. Now I am being told you have to have so many clients with the same account names to get a good settlement. It seems this is never going to end and stays on our credit report. I would think you would want to see our credit scores being helped. I give you a zero rating at this time. I don't even check the monthly statements, What's the use. They never change.

I have been a member for two and one half. My debt is going down. There are several credit bills that have been totally paid and I am working on my last one. I have one and one half years to go then it's freedom. I have learned my lesson well and I do not trust snake oil salesmen any more.

Staff are professional and courteous - a big plus for me - and I have never had to wait for the answer to a question. I'm still working on the reducing my $65,000 credit debt with about a year left so far so good, collection calls have quit and credit is rising. Most the debt was settled for under 50% of what I owed and we have definitely grown on credit education.

Greatest decision I've ever made to become debt free! FDR makes it simple and easy to enroll and track your progress while in the program. You choose when you want to pay monthly or biweekly and they reduced what I owed by more than half. Customer service is always very informative and helpful and I couldn't say enough great things about FDR. Yes, at first your credit will take a big hit at first so make sure you are ready for that. But cutting up all the credit cards and not being stuck with high minimum payments was WELL worth it.

I had to opt and end early for other reason but not fault of FDR. They were great to work with. Customer service always handled everything I needed done, I completed plenty or creditors with no problem, and communication was awesome. I have called many times with no results. They don't have a number they need for a account. I cannot get it. The account is closed. Would have to go into bank to get it. Each time I call they say, "No problems. We can do this." Each time I call the same thing, "Where is the number,. I say, "Can't get it." They say, "No problems. We can get it." No results. Different stories each time I call. Very angry and frustrated. Need info that is correct and follow done.

Very dissatisfied with this program, would not recommend to anyone. Overpromise and underdelivered. Was told how easy it would be to pay off early, keep getting promised that it's almost finished, cannot give me any info or help to expedite the process, asked repeatedly.

Freedom Financial has been a lifesaver! They really went to bait for me and helped reduce the amount of my debt and set me up with a realistic monthly payoff amount. So far things are going smoothly and my debt is being paid down. In a little over a year I'll be paid off. Great company!

The accounts that have been resolved have been half or less what was wed. It's definitely helping me get back on track. I am able to live a more financial sound life due to their help. I'm now able to begin again rebuilding my finances.

Would like if you were able to get on smart phone as I do not have a computer or internet. Would also like more communication as to what is being worked on and the progress that is being on that. Customer service is wonderful and always helpful with any problems you have.

Relieved is the one word to describe how I feel. The reps have been nothing but superb looking out for my best interest. I have passed information onto friends that are in the same situation I was in.

First off, I do want to thank your staff for what they have done on my behalf. My issues are with going over my original contract by 15 months with little info about why. The Capital One account shows in progress despite being paid off for more than 2 and a half years (haven't received a satisfactory answer as to why). I have less than $5,000.00 left to be negotiated and $6003.00 in my "savings" (how much more needs to be saved to settle these accounts?). You wrote in FAQ that a separate account is good for settling in a faster time and that I control it because it's my money. If so, why is there no interest being accrued. Why am I being charged $7.25 a month to maintain this account and if there is interest being accrued, who gets that money?

Freedom Debt Relief has been true to its commitment to reduce my debt and is right on schedule as promised. While my credit score has plummeted that was to be expected and will improve as I stay on track to stay debt free.

My oldest child was getting ready to apply to college. Financial aid was going to be sparse based on the combined incomes of my husband and I. I knew I had to get my credit cards under control and was unable to do it myself. An internet search brought me to Freedom Debt Relief. FDR negotiated well on my behalf and I am less than a year shy of paying off all my debt. I recommended FDR's services to a friend who also needed credit counseling.

I'm very happy with my experience with Freedom Debt. They help me when I didn't know where to turn. The customer service is excellent, whenever I had a problem they were very nice and helping me solve it. They explain everything to me when I first started the program, so I could understand it. When first signing on to Freedom Debt Relief. I didn't know if they were a sham or on the up and up. It took 8 months to decide that they were respectable. I am into the 3rd year of a 4 1/2 to final payment, and so far, no lawsuits with any of our 23 creditors.

Folks, Freedom Debt Relief is the only folks that helped me! I had tried to get the card companies to let me close the accounts and pay lesser amounts per month. They had me extended far above what we had originally agreed to so when I did get in trouble the card companies just said no, and wouldn't help me at all, I was blessed enough to find this company after checking on them with BBB and my state agencies. They passed muster and eventually I will be free of debt without declaring bankruptcy, which no one wanted to help me with either. It's a long road and it feels like it will never end but it will end, and though it's terribly hard sometimes it is a good thing and these are really caring good people.

Still a little confused about what I need to do. I do not have my account numbers for the Capital One accounts. Also I need an email address where I can send back the forms I was to complete. Also, need a phone number to give the creditors who are calling.

NEVER EVER was I told that Freedom would was going to make payments to the creditors. It was an assumption that Freedom paid the creditors and I would in turn pay Freedom. I am VERY dissatisfied, and would NEVER have done this consolidation if I had known that. OR... I would have negotiated with the creditors myself, as at the time of consolidation I was not past due with any of them. VERY, VERY DISSATISFIED.

Thanks to Freedom Debt I am on my way to being debt free and build back my credit. Thank you Freedom Debt for giving me back my financial balance and my credit worthiness. I receive such good service and personalize assistance on my account, I will recommend to my family and friends.

It was a hard decision at the beginning because you don't know what is going to happen but you have to trust the process. For us everything happened as I was told. Very happy with the result. I would recommend to anyone that have to use this program to get out of debt.

I have been pleased with the program. My only concern is the date I was given to be my last installment, all of my debt had not been resolved. It has been 5 months since the debt should have been resolved and there are still 2 accounts pending. No one has contacted me to let me know why, these 2 accounts are still pending. I would appreciate being kept informed.

Freedom Financial has been a less than stellar experience for me. I've done most of the work myself and the communication I received from Freedom Financial is horrible. Most often I got a different answer from each agent I've spoken with concerning my balance/settlements, etc. and I would absolutely not recommend Freedom Financial to anyone.

I was very happy with the results of the debt relief program until the final two accounts. It has been months and no settlements have been proposed. I have enough in my dedicated account to pay one in full and suggested that to customer service via email but received a generic response about that depending on how much I have in my dedicated account. I have two and half more months left in the program and I am sorry that it is ending on this negative note.

It was a great pleasure to deal with someone that's knows how to get out of debt. I also enjoy that the Freedom keeps contact with all the transactions that are done in your accounts. The emails that you send to show where you are at on your debts. Thanks.

I am at the tail end, with only 4 accounts left to settle. There has not been any settlements or communication from Freedom Debt Relief at all in 2017. When I call to check the status, I would hear, "We are working hard to settle your debts." Recently they have changed the status online of my accounts to "strategic hold" or "Bulk Negotiation". Both classifications are generic. It seems that FDR is prolonging the process so that funds keep going to them. In the beginning it seems like negotiations and settlements happened relatively quickly, however recent lack of progress has been frustrating. Getting ready to withdraw the 3,000 in my account and negotiate the remaining 4 accounts myself. Customer service is always courteous when I call.

Our experience has been GREAT!!! We are looking forward to being debt free. When we started this journey we were not sure we had made the right decision, but it has proven to be one of the best decisions of our life together.

My experience so far has been excellent. The only hitch to come up was that I thought you were canceling the credit cards and didn't stop automatic withdrawal from my checking account and Discover ended up drawing a payment from my account. I might suggest that you discuss this when signing up anyone. I have since gone to my bank and deleted any automatic withdrawals. The process to eliminate this debt will take 48 months but the relief was almost instantaneous. I feel like a 500 lb gorilla has been taken off of my back. Thanks!

I have been very happy with the staff at Freedom Debt Relief. They have walked me through the process. Their legal team has also been helpful through out of the process. Bankruptcy is never the best process if you can avoid it. Freedom Debt Relief makes that possible. They setup the program and manage everything with an estimate of a timeline to complete the process on the timeline. Instead of helping people with their debt, they are literally hustling folks by and charging an enormous fee for each debt they negotiate which really only knocks down your debt just by a few hundred dollars if that!!! I have to say that I am happy with my experience because this program has done a great job with clearing my debt. There was one occasion that I had to do more work than I thought was the job of the program near the end. Returning phone calls was a big problem. When I advised that I in fact cleared up my last account on my own no one responded with final information. And as of this date I still have not had a response on concluded debts and what happens. This is where my total dissatisfaction comes from. I recommended the program to my daughter and she utilized the program and have concluded her debt as well but the promise of any type of recognition for this was not followed through on.

I started the program and was told that May 16 would be the finish line. I understand that resolving some accounts could take longer but it is now July '17 and I still have a couple accounts not resolved. So far my experience with FDR has been good. I did have an issue with not being able to suspend one payment but was not allowed to do so. I mean I could have but was given the doom and gloom of missing one payment. Also, I don't really know what percentage (%) is paid to FDR for their services. Other than that they have done way more with my creditors than I believe I could have done.

The whole process has been taking an extremely long time even despite making larger payments than originally required to, as well as taking cards out of the program. We took cards out to hopefully pay off our debt faster and increased our monthly payments only to see no changes in how fast debts were being settled. In the meantime our credit has taken severe hits which we expected, however we did not expect for it to go on for this long and have such little progress.

I loved Robert! He was nice and humorous and I felt at first really bad about even having to consider having to reach out to someone because I was drowning in debt, but I'm glad I did. I feel like a lot of weight has been lifted off my shoulders and if I can update, I'll do so at a later time to let anyone reading this know that it is in fact possible to get debt-free through Freedom Debt Relief.

The customer service nicely explained about how the debt is resolved. And also the funds are utilized to pay off the negotiation of funds. Also briefly about how the system works. Also sent me emails and paperwork neatly explaining the program.

Initially I was very nervous re: counseling about the debt relief program. Once I spoke with Ryan **, my fears dissipated quickly. He is very personable and was very thorough in his explanation. This is not the way I would have preferred to pay my debts, but I did not listen to the voice in my head, yelling - NO! NO! NO! when the timeshare reps were telling us that we were approved to get a credit card to cover the cost of the down payment for an upgrade to our timeshare. We did this 3 times, can you believe that! I can't, but we did. We found trying to make minimum and sometimes a little extra payments on the credit cards very hard. We even paid bills with credit cards when we did not have any other way to pay them. We found ourselves further and further in debt. We had a Sam's card that we were buying groceries on and soon maxed it out! Where to turn or what were we going to do? We would put gas in the car when I got paid, and knew that was all the gas we had to go on until next payday. We were barely making it. Then I lost my job of 26 years, my husband is retired and only picks up odd jobs. What now, believe me I was praying!
