Instead of helping people with their debt, they are literally hustling folks by and charging an enormous fee for each debt they negotiate which really only knocks down your debt just by a few hundred dollars if that!!! I am very dissatisfied with this company and what they are doing. Hustling the poor!!! Shame on you.

I have to say that I am happy with my experience because this program has done a great job with clearing my debt. There was one occasion that I had to do more work than I thought was the job of the program near the end. Returning phone calls was a big problem. When I advised that I in fact cleared up my last account on my own no one responded with final information. And as of this date I still have not had a response on concluded debts and what happens. This is where my total dissatisfaction comes from. I recommended the program to my daughter and she utilized the program and have concluded her debt as well but the promise of any type of recognition for this was not followed through on.

OMG. I can't believe how courteous & helpful the staff is. They answered all questions with honesty & are true to what they advertise. I started the program and was told that May 16 would be the finish line. I understand that resolving some accounts could take longer but it is now July '17 and I still have a couple accounts not resolved. I have called numerous times to get resolved even if that resolution costs me more money then I am fine with that but still no resolutions. The customer service associates seem to not understand the requests. I would be very satisfied if the program worked as promised as I have saved thousands on debt but again, I want these accounts resolved so I can move forward.

This has by far been one of the most positive experiences. They are always willing to solve your issues and communicate in a timely manner. My debt totaled more than $20,000.00 and I resolved it in only 42 months. Would definitely recommend!!!

Freedom Debt Relief has enabled me to be rid of debt that would have taken much longer to pay off, and with less expense. It was embarrassing to start off since I had to stop paying my creditors, which is totally against my personality. It has taken almost 4 and a half years to complete the program. I started the program in July, 2013 and will complete it in Oct, 2017. So far my experience with FDR has been good. I did have an issue with not being able to suspend one payment but was not allowed to do so. I mean I could have but was given the doom and gloom of missing one payment. Also, I don't really know what percentage (%) is paid to FDR for their services. Other than that they have done way more with my creditors than I believe I could have done.

My job cut a few jobs and I got switched departments. I was getting paid a little less and barely making it as it was. The whole process has been taking an extremely long time even despite making larger payments than originally required to, as well as taking cards out of the program. We took cards out to hopefully pay off our debt faster and increased our monthly payments only to see no changes in how fast debts were being settled. In the meantime our credit has taken severe hits which we expected, however we did not expect for it to go on for this long and have such little progress.

I loved Robert! He was nice and humorous and I felt at first really bad about even having to consider having to reach out to someone because I was drowning in debt, but I'm glad I did. I feel like a lot of weight has been lifted off my shoulders and if I can update, I'll do so at a later time to let anyone reading this know that it is in fact possible to get debt-free through Freedom Debt Relief.

The customer service nicely explained about how the debt is resolved. And also the funds are utilized to pay off the negotiation of funds. Also briefly about how the system works. Also sent me emails and paperwork neatly explaining the program.

Initially I was very nervous re: counseling about the debt relief program. Once I spoke with Ryan **, my fears dissipated quickly. He is very personable and was very thorough in his explanation. This is not the way I would have preferred to pay my debts, but I did not listen to the voice in my head, yelling - NO! NO! NO! when the timeshare reps were telling us that we were approved to get a credit card to cover the cost of the down payment for an upgrade to our timeshare. We did this 3 times, can you believe that! I can't, but we did. We found trying to make minimum and sometimes a little extra payments on the credit cards very hard. We even paid bills with credit cards when we did not have any other way to pay them. We found ourselves further and further in debt. We had a Sam's card that we were buying groceries on and soon maxed it out! Where to turn or what were we going to do? We would put gas in the car when I got paid, and knew that was all the gas we had to go on until next payday. We were barely making it. Then I lost my job of 26 years, my husband is retired and only picks up odd jobs. What now, believe me I was praying!

When I initially enrolled in the program I asked an associate how is the fee. That associate informed me that it was 7%. Another associate said that it was 24%. And last but not least another associate informed me that it's based on the initial balance. So I was lied to. So I need to know the true cost for each settlement balance.

Our family had gotten into a pickle and this was my last resort. All of our debt is old debt, so it made it a bit easier and less stressful for us. Chris was there every step of the way. Finding yourself suddenly unable to pay your bills is a horror that sets off your anxiety levels to the max! You get the rent paid, then the utilities and then you need food... but what about all the credit card bills. I have account that the final payment was sent in 10/2014 and it still show pending. It is the only one left open. I have been trying to get this resolved but nobody will answer me why it is still open and you still want me to keep sending you money when everything has been paid off. If somebody was over seeing my account properly it would not have taken 3 years and me calling about to even get somebody to try and look at it.

I was sent an offer for a fifty thousand dollar personal loan, so I called about it. I gave the interviewer some info and he said that the underwriters would not approve the loan but he would put me in a program to settle my debt. Every time I've called in for a I've got a very good representative except the last time. He was little rushy. Maybe he didn't understand what I was trying to do. My husband's out of work. He can substitute teacher. When I was in serious money problems, I went to Freedom Debit Relief. Did not know if I could trust them, know no one who ever used them. But I was put at ease and they have gotten me on the right money track in a matter of a couple years. They are the BEST!

Things moved slowly at first to build equity in my account. Many of my creditors said that they do not negotiate with Freedom Debt Relief. I wished there was a way that FDR would forward power of attorney and talked with creditors to minimize phone calls to me. Then I was contacted by a loan company associated with FDR and turned down for a loan because of debt to income (this is why I am with FDR). My payments to FDR have been consistent and automatic... Why no loan?

They are doing well. I am happy with progress. Hopefully I can get out of debt a lot sooner than the 3 years. And hopefully I can put in more than what they are taking out right now in another couple of weeks or by the end of August.

I was satisfied but, I was not happy that I was not informed on a few things. I did not save any money but hurt my credit. I had to do the C+ loan to get things settled and with the interest rate I am being charged I would have been better off not doing it. I had a 6% interest rate on my line of credit at the bank. Now I will be paying 25%. I might have saved 10,000.00 but then add back in the 4,000.00 fee and interest rate I am no better ahead. I would make sure it's only on credit cards and not on any high bank ones.

I came across FDR through advertisements and the reviews I read gave me "relief" that I finally found another option besides bankruptcy. I would recommend FDR to anyone seriously in debt. I started the process in January 2017, and by June 1, I already had 3 accounts being resolved. Already $8643 of debt reduced. I am so thankful for FDR, I can finally see through the dark clouds.

It is taking way too long to negotiate on my behalf. Other companies I know are faster in reaching an agreement. Meanwhile, my credit score is going down the hill as never before in my entire life. I'd like to be confident but so far I cannot. People in the company are very nice when I talk to them but that doesn't resolve my problem. I hope I am mistaken and in my next review, I can say something completely the opposite.

Negotiations were great. Savings even better. I just think that program could have been resolved earlier. In my experience I was never advised by anyone that an account number was incomplete. Communication with the client is minimal and the account could have been resolved sooner if better communication had existed.
