It is hard to truly give an opinion this early into the program. But I am looking towards a good outcome that will leave me very pleased. My experience with representatives and other associated that helped me into this program were encouraging and helped me feel good about making the choice to follow through with it. No more putting it off, I am gonna get my financial freedom taken care of. Now what boat I am buying in the future? As long as it floats and is seaworthy, I am good.

Good Debt Consolidation Company although slightly more expensive than competitors. They charge more on their settlement fees, but no upfront fees. Otherwise it’s an honest company to deal with, very transparent. Customer Service is the greatest, very convenient because hours of operation is till late pm and open every day.

I didn’t wanna file for bankruptcy and in the past, I went with another debt relief company called Fastrack but it was pretty short-lived. I really didn’t trust them giving them my bank account information and expecting them to put the money that I give them or the money they’re gonna take from me into an account to pay my debt. It didn’t seem right. Then when I went online and started researching different debt relief companies, I came to find out that they didn’t have the greatest rating. And that Freedom Debt Relief did.
But initially, I heard about Freedom Debt Relief from Shark Tank. The Barbara Corcoran was on there and I saw an advertisement. She highly recommended them and I thought that she must know what she was talking about. She is a billionaire in real estate. So, I started reading up about Freedom Debt Relief and I saw a lot of good reviews. I even went on to Business Better Bureau and saw they had a good rating, so I tried them out.
So far, Freedom Debt Relief has been wonderful. Whenever I had to add a debt to my account, they did that and were always there if I had questions to ask. And whenever they settled my debt for me, they emailed me right away and also texted me. If I didn’t respond, they would call me about it. So, I’ve not had any bad experience with them. They even worked with me this past summer. I’m a teacher, so I work during the school year and I wasn’t working that summer. I told them that this one month was gonna be a little tough to make the payment and asked them if we could switch the plan or the graduation package. They worked with me in order to still take money out but in a way that would also work for me.
I’ve been with them for two years now and whenever I have a question or a problem, I'd call them up and talk to them. I spoke to someone in the beginning then whenever I called, I got different people. It was usually never the same one but I’ve never had anyone not understand my whole financial situation. It is right there on the computer and everyone I’ve ever spoken to has been able to tell me how we would work things out. And they’ve arranged everything or do whatever I needed.
I had about five accounts that they settled for me, some of the smaller ones, and I have a lot of small credit card debts that just kinda added up. They’ve been doing a great job, so it’s just a matter of how much they take out a month that I can put in and keep putting towards the account so that they can say we have enough and we can make a settlement type of thing. So, I’m still on track for the graduation date I had set and everything seems to be okay. But, it is nice to know that in a few years, I’ll have all this resolved then I can move on. And hopefully, my credit score will go up.
Their website is also great. I can easily get on the dashboard and see what is going on with the account. I would highly recommend them. If you have any accumulated debt and it is too much for you to handle, give Freedom Debt Relief a call because they set everything up on how much you make, how much you can afford to pay every month, and what your plan would be.

Freedom Debt Relief has been providing me great quality of service and working with them has reduced my stress. I’m not getting calls every week anymore and we go ahead once all over. I heard something about them ahead of time and liked that, so I sought their service. They took my individual accounts and they're negotiating with my creditors. While there’s something they can’t work with, they've already gotten reductions on a lot of them. The process could be quicker, but those things take time. The consultants I work with are thorough. FDR is a life saver. I was a little hesitant at the beginning because I did not trust anybody with my financial information but since they were recommended by Credit Karma I decided to try them and the results were better than expected.

The settlement process went very smoothly and I'm happy that Capital One will be settled. The only thing is that the payments will be very small and will take 30 months. So far so good, only a few months in. Things weren't 100% clear initially. I submitted all my credit card info for consolidation. I didn't find out until a month later credit cards $500 or less aren't included. So I had a bunch of late payments which had fees. If I had known, I would have taken care of those. That is my only issue thus far. The Representative did apologize and said she thought she mentioned it to me, but did not. It will be a while before things are good again but I'm making an effort. Everything is online. I do much better with paper documents.

The reason I terminated my account the first time was due to the fact that I still had considerable debt. I re-enrolled, and was very satisfied with the help I received. I've now been in the program for a month and considerable happy. I believe everything is going to work out fine. I feel some relief.

I am pleased with FDR. They have successfully negotiated most of my accounts. The NLLC are wonderful as well. I was told only my credit would be change. I was told only the accounts with my name would be in scoring drop. I am disappointed in the fees. I understand it is the cost to get help, but seems extremely high, and unsure of the value, in other words, the high fees should equate to better and Quicker settlements. A lot of our accounts still show not negotiated yet, it would be nice to show how many and in negotiations, and if you could get them to stop harassing while negotiating, maybe not in your control but would be nice. I am also skeptical about how to check they are going back to fix my credit report after a settlement is made, I don't trust them to do it.

Not completely satisfied with the guidance in the beginning and the follow-thru. The ONLY accounts that I was in arrears on were the cards that I was told not to pay!!! Then when my report came out I was turned down for consolidation because of bad credit??? I put satisfied in my comments because I got about what I expected. Not the WHOLE truths.

Updated on 05/12/2020: I am very pleased with my experience with Freedom Debt Relief. I was very cautious at first, but the program has worked for me. The staff is always professional and courteous. After a year and a half of making monthly payments to FDR, I'm now eligible for an acceleration loan through their sister company Consolidation Plus. My total debt will be paid off in a few months and I will have only one monthly payment to my C+ loan. I can honestly see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was a little embarrassed at first to enter the program, but I'm glad I took control when I did.
Original Review: So far so good with this process. Everybody has been extremely professional and helpful. It's hard to ask for help sometimes with your finances, but now that I have it feels great. I look forward to clearing this debt once and for all.

So far I have been glad that I am in the program. I have had good experiences over the phone and have made a lot of progress in reducing my debt. The reason I gave only 4 starts is that I have not been satisfied with the explanation of where my money goes for what. I wish this would be in the statement. I have a negative balance and by my calculation it should be positive. Freedom only says how much is paid to creditors but does not say how much goes to Freedom.

We’re getting older and we wanted to get our affairs in order and choosing Freedom was the best choice to take. We had accumulated credit card debt and we got their services for a debt consolidation. I like the way Freedom Debt Relief approaches their clients. They guided us on the right route to take and explained the whole situation to us which was very helpful being that you do this on telephone or online. So far, the service we’ve been receiving has been exceptional. We only wish that the process would have been quicker, and it isn't gonna happen since this takes time. Having Freedom decreased our stress level quite a lot. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and I would strongly suggest to anyone that asks that they at least talk with the individuals and see if they have a program that would match their needs at the moment.

Update on 01/28/2109: I sent the full amount to get the process completed and they have not worked very hard to get it done. I also feel that they want you in the program so they get their money or else they would be working to get me out of the program like I asked.
Original: I have been told 4 different amounts for how much it was going to take to close my account. I truly feel that this company does not want you to get out of debt faster than their time line. I have asked for an email and have not gotten it. I have asked for an explanation to why it has changed. I feel that you all are no better than a payday loan...

Although am was initially excited once entering your program, I have to say that I am very concerned about the numerous phone calls I receive on a daily basis from creditors now that we are 6-8 weeks into the program. As someone who always paid my bills on time, and thus have never dealt with the creditors calls, this is very unnerving. Updated on 01/22/2020: I saw Freedom Debt Relief on Facebook and the name piqued my interest. I gave them a call and the rep was easy to talk to. He told me what was going on, what I had to do, what they expected out of me and what I could expect out of them. This was a fit for me and the program that I got was affordable at the time. All I gotta do was to make sure the money was there every month and they would do the rest. The payment plan was negotiable because they dealt with the companies. Then, when they got a settlement, it was sent to my phone or my email, and I would either say yes or no. I said yes every time because I saved money from that debt and I’m paying on it once a month to square it off.
I talked to my family member about this before I did it and they did similar things with other companies but Freedom Debt Relief to me is kinda easy. I have a goal for my credit because I want to get another house so I could see what they were saying. My credit went down and now it’s back up again. It’s not where it should be, but it’s not too far from it. I see the process right now and I’m doing the right thing getting rid of that debt, paying on what they settled, in good standing at the same time and get my credit restored back. So, that’s a big thing to me. Working with Freedom made a whole lot of impact in my life. I’m 59 years old but they taught me a lot and as I go on, I’m feeling it a little more and more. It’s a goal for me to graduate the program. They’re gonna give me some more stuff to stay out of debt. I don’t know everything, so I’m still learning and that’s good.
I will refer FDR to people that I know. They obeyed what they said and they cared. Every time I called them through a different person, they were so nice and down-to-earth. You could talk to them, tell them what's going on and they would understand. That’s a big thing in life with people doing business. I’m retired military, but I do security and I deal with the public, so I could see it too. I’m good with the people and they told me that I was the only security guard who smiled and said good morning. I laughed because it was natural for me to do that but that was the thing that FDR did to people. They didn’t want you with a frowning face or bad attitude. People wouldn’t take to that and I wouldn't either.

After paying 384 a month for about a year, I STILL am unable to log onto your site. I have complained before. I write my password down and the next time... it doesn't work. It is absolutely impossible to re-set it like any other site and I would like to either forget about you and bash your name on every site I can get onto or get some damned help. What is wrong? I am averagely smart on the computer.
I also requested to change my amount from 384 to 400/mo. Oh no, I have to docu-sign something that is impossible to docu-sign. After 1 hour I just thought, "the least they could do is send it in the mail if they needed a signature or have a checkmark to make it simple". It is not easy to read your stupid graphs and charts and they tell me nothing about nothing.
Who is handling my accounts? My credit is in the toilet and if someone is handling any of the accounts they would have regular 45day contact with my creditors and reassure them that they are on the list to be paid and please be patient or whatever you do. Do you do anything, really? I never hear of anything you do for me by phone or letter or any courtesy message, just an email I cannot open so it means "0" to me.
BTW, a call in the middle of my workday means sqwat to me. All I can do is say no, yes or goodbye. At the rate I am going, I figure my credit will never be decent before I die; I am paying you $384/mo which makes my SS and menial job barely a livable income for me and I would be better off going bankrupt and flushing my credit where it is going to be for the rest of my life anyway. At least I will have $384 more to live on each month. Your Customer Service and tools and Resources Stink.

This seems great. I guess I'm waiting to see in the long run, how this really goes. I kind of feel uneasy thinking about my creditors may call me about late payments. Freedom Debt Relief was advertised on TV and on Yahoo and a lot of people that have been with them experienced much satisfaction. We had concerns with our bills and we had debt consolidations where Freedom Debt Relief would want to reach a settlement and they could go around and figure out on a standard monthly payment that we give them. If I had any questions, I called them and the rep, Wes, had been very helpful a lot of times from the beginning of it to explain the program and how it goes. They’ve been outstanding with us. Our credit score has gone down, but it’s starting to come back up now and so far, we have paid off five of our debts. They already have five settlements in the works plus five more. We were quite a bit at the bottom line and I didn’t wanna go the bankruptcy route. As long as we are retired and on a fixed income, this helps with that a lot.
When you are retired, you don’t realize how you even get caught up in factors like debt and bills. I was making my payments on time all the time, but we were like living from payday to payday and I wanted to get away from doing that because we don’t work. We are retired and this was the right program to help us. It has helped us immensely. Now, we’re not living payday to payday and we are able to save with the fact that we are raising our grandchildren.

We were in trouble with our debt and I happened to see a Freedom Debt Relief ad on the internet here at work. I called and I was pleased with what their rep told me about the program. I was a bit disappointed though because the fees are much higher than I anticipated but I’m only finding that out now. The rep might’ve told me that the fees would be that much but it didn’t register to me. They led us to believe that we would be out of debt in four years. We’ve been in the program for close to two years now and we still got four more years to go. Other than that, everything has been wonderful. The service has been excellent. I would tell my friends to go to Freedom Debt Relief but I would explain things beforehand so they would know upfront what they would be facing. In fact, I have talked to some people.

Nothing but lies, lies, lies. Got into contact with FDR at a moment of weakness when I was behind on my credit card bills. I was informed that all my credit cards were closed and this was my only option. That sounded fishy to me, considering I wasn’t told any of my cards were closed. I called my CC companies and worked out payment deals without any issues and come to find out... NONE of them are closed. After talking it over with my husband, we decided we didn’t want to take the larger hit to our credit that FDR would cause, so I politely told the gentleman no. He then proceeds to say that he should connect me with a bankruptcy lawyer because that’s my only choice at this point.
After we hang up the phone, he sends me an email with threats saying that the CC companies will sue me and send court summons after me and garnish my wages. Again, he offers bankruptcy as a “help” to me. He also made a stab at my husband not working currently, that I did not appreciate in the slightest. If you like threats, lies, and fear mongers, I guess this is the company to seek out!

Current settlement in progress as example. Enrolled amount-$1759. Added fees, interest, etc during negotiations-$545.84. Settlement amount-$1382.90. Fees -$439.75. Total charges -$1822.65. I end up paying $63.65 more than enrolled amount and I could have negotiated a settlement at half the enrolled amount if I had dealt directly with the debt. I also will be paying interest on total loan during the length of the loan program. Show me the advantage!!!

This has been a big relief to have someone else work out the payment plan with my creditors. I would highly recommend anyone to check out this program before filing bankruptcy. It is also easy to check online to see how your bills are coming and what is being paid on.

In two years my credit reports gone up like 60 points. 4 more years and it'll be great. Almost to 600. Customer service is a little bit of a pain, but it's worth it. Dashboard is nice and user friendly. Constant email updates and settlements are usually half of what I owe.

This company makes it sound all great. They say your credit will improve however they leave out that the debt settlements show up as negative marks for 7 years so no your credit does not improve. Seriously unhappy with this company. Just a money hungry company. After paying them their fees I could have paid the credit companies in full and my credit would be great.

I needed to reduce my total bills and Freedom Debt Relief was able to come up with a program that would help me. They explained things clearly and gave me a timeline of the progress I would make if I went in to the program. They took all of my debts and they negotiated or are in the process of negotiating with the companies to get a reduced settlement.
Everyone I’ve had to deal with has been very clear and very helpful. They made sure that if something came in, they needed my approval. They explained why they needed my approval and I was able to be informed when I gave them my approval for each action that came up or decision that had to be made. It was very helpful that they are nice. They are also very pleasant and patient people. The payment plan was every two weeks which was nice and it was very easy to be consistent.
Freedom provided very good service and I’m very impressed. The program really helped me get my finances under control and there was a lot of things that happened in my life. This is really helping me to reduce my stress, my problems, and makes everything better with not just me, but everybody that I’m connected with, like family and work. They helped me to straighten out my life. They’ve counseled me on what to do in the future after all of this is taken care of. It has really changed a lot in my life to where I’m more positive. I would tell others about Freedom and that they just need to talk to them. I’m sure that they’d be able to help them, no matter what their situation.

Freedom Debt Relief is very nice upfront. I like what they have offered and the interest rate. I also like their personality and what I could afford with it. I had gotten a summons to go to court so I called them. They took care of it so I don’t have to go to court now. They have settled my account twice. The rep who I worked with verified my information and checked what I was calling about then took care of everything. She was also very sweet and asked if I needed to have anything else done.
