I have been dealing with Freedom Debt Relief for approximately a year now. I have resolved one account and getting close to resolving another. These accounts would not have been resolved without the help that Freedom Debt Relief has given me. Everyone that I have dealt with during this past year has always been very courteous and professional and I feel confident they will continue to help me resolve my debt obligation.

When I received my Capital One small claims court papers, I was very concern and confused about the process of the lawsuit. FDR has done all that I could have asked in resolving my debt while saving me money. They worked with me when I had difficulty fulfilling my obligation and they made it painless. I would definitely recommend them. The customer service is top notch, and they go out of their way to be helpful.

Not perfect but very helpful. I have a pending issue I am very worried about. But overall they are attentive and give good advice. I would recommend this service to any one who wants to avoid bankruptcy. In my case, it is to eliminate my debt before retirement.

Freedom Debt Relief has been a big relief for me. I don't have to worry about paying my bills one by one but they are combined into one bill monthly. I have a peace of mind knowing that my bills were reduced and I can just relaxed.

I have been happy with the service provided. Customer service representatives have always been kind; however, one spoke on matters beyond her scope of knowledge. I was approaching a court date for being sued on a debt for an account that had not yet reached an agreement and she stated that I don't need to go the hearing and I should ignore it (on a recorded line as advised by rep). I went to court and represented myself and luckily there was an agreement made the day before my court date and the judge accepted the payment schedule and advised me that had I not appeared, she would have ruled in favor of the plaintiff.

Until I was enrolled with Freedom Debt Relief my life was a mess. I didn't know what was going to happen to my life. I'm getting bomb my collection calls. OneMain Financial and Chase Bank has been calling me. I paid my credit cards for Chase Bank in July. I haven't paid OneMain Financial yet. I did start up a new bank account from my job.

FDR has been able to reduce my credit card debt by about 50% per creditor. I am very satisfied with their performance. I would recommend to a friend. It isn't a free service and charges can get a bit steep. Couldn't really do it by myself.

Communication is bad!!! Freedom Debt Relief got a settlement agreement for one of my loans, Mariner Finance. The payment never was sent on time, so Mariner backed out of the agreement, left me now going to court, losing a day's pay, and fighting garnishment. Had no idea this settlement wasn't kept until I received court papers in the mail!!! Tried communicating with them and they transfer me over to NLGG, which in return tells me Freedom Debt Relief should be dealing with this!! Very unsatisfied!!

I am not always sure where I stand in my payoff. When I call I have been told several different stories about how long it will take until I am done with the program. Much of the time I felt nothing is being done. And it seems that I am paying more money than I owed in the first place.

Terrible customer response when down to our last creditor and had more money in our bank than was owed on the debt. Took an extra 5 months to settle last account and every time I called I got the runaround that it was in process. Once debt was finally settled the refund of our additional bank has taken way too long.

I just tell them that I already had a company helping me and do not mention your name. Financially, I am having problems but will survive. I got a notice from Crossroads Financial Technologies yesterday and I really don't understand what they are telling me but I will be contacting Freedom for an explanation tomorrow after I read this one more time. I started trying to add my husband and a credit card of his. I mailed paperwork on July 5, 2017. They never got it and then I was given the wrong email address sent it to. They don't see it and Monday I faxed and so far y'all don't have yet. I need this added to my account. Please help.

I am happy with the program, except for when I signed up I was told after giving all information on debt, I would be debt free in January 2019, but I must deposit a certain amount monthly. I have done that and when my last debt was negotiated it has extended me out an additional 4 months and I have still 4 debts left so I wonder how long this will drag out.

The program does work, however, the associates are very informal and never get back to you after proposing a better solution. This was really sad because I was told I qualified for a loan to clear my record and keep making payments to the program and I never heard from that person again and he never answered my phone calls. Other associates are not informed and give you the wrong information and you're the one penalized for it at the end. The program works! Please train the associates for a better experience.

Hello - Although I am making improvements on the debt I owe - I wish the process was a bit more cohesive between the representatives and the lawyers. There is a lot of running around and short deadlines that need to be met which causes a lot more stress. I wish the representatives would be more involved or more helpful during the process. Or more easily accessible - It is very hard to get a hold of someone.

At this point we're 50% throughout time with Freedom Debt Relief and up to this point everything Freedom Debt Relief has done is exactly what they promised they would do. I would definitely recommend Freedom Debt Relief if you're in a position that you cannot afford to pay your debts.

I like the dashboard because I can go check on anyone of my accounts. When I signed up it was very nice to have someone on the phone with me to walk me through every step of the way. All the form that I needed to sign were provided to me on a electronic pdf.

Freedom Debt Relief offered a way for me to pay off my bills by them negotiating with my creditors and using the money in my dedicated account. I should have had some input. I know the aggressive ones and the ones who said they wouldn't deal with FDR. That creditor should have been paid more attention to. I am going through a lawsuit now.

From the start FDR support team has answered all my questions and provided advice on handling situations. I am very satisfied with the approach so far and using the online dashboard to track my accounts and status. One suggestion is to fix the clarity of the statement displayed on mobile phones when Generate Statement is selected. It is very blurry.

When we contacted Freedom we were in a very bad financial situation. Freedom worked with us and our debtors to develop a plan that worked for everyone. We we're diligent in making our payments and we ran into unforeseen hardships. Freedom was helpful then too.

FDR does not respond or get back to client, as promised from the onset. Even after repeated requests (by phone & fax) to respond to receipt of documents and/or follow-up requests I've sent. Client has no way of knowing if action is taken with regard to info sent. Secondly, my 1st settlement was twice what I'd have paid (debtor) had I not put it under FDR. There is no way my entire debts will be paid off by the promised timeframe. After many complaints regarding the website, I was told you would improve it. I see that this has been done. Big improvement-- the former website was about useless. Also, giving credit where it is due, your agents I spoke with seemed to care and were professional. My 3* customer service rating pertained to my initial issues about not responding my faxes or letters.

They have a chart that lets you know when the debt will be paid in full. Other charts show what has been paid, how much the debt was reduced. Agents walk me through my status every month. I work together with them on my priority list and other items. I've had great customer experience. Every step is documented online in a manner I can understand and it is quickly updated with the current status.

I have too much money going out to you each month. I have no money for my meds. Or food. I have to rely on my son for food. And sometimes meds. Also, if I could get a longer pay back for less money per month that would be great.

My first loan was paid off at a great price and wonderful service! My second loan was paid off 6 months ago yet the online portal still says its "in progress". Supposedly bank did not receive final payment from FDR. To date still not resolved.

When unforeseen circumstances pull the financial rug out from under you, like what happened to me and my husband, you can get help without requiring the need for a consolidation loan or bankruptcy. Within one month of signing up with Freedom, we no longer had to endure the harassing collection calls or threatening letters. All of that was taken over by Freedom and our only job was to not answer the creditors' phone calls or letters and let Freedom take charge. Working with FDR has been a great and challenging experience. Challenging because of the fact that all accounts in the program had to be closed with high balances and not paid for awhile for a better settlement price and it hit my credit score hard and real fast but I was in so much debt that I was circling the drain trying to worry about keeping my accounts current to keep my credit score up so I had to let go and let it be. I have been in the program for about 6 months and I have 2 accounts settled and a few already negotiated to be settled. It takes patience and time but I am getting there. In general everyone was very helpful and positive. On the downside, I was told I could add any accounts which came up later. This was a huge trial, it took about 12 attempts to add one of them and the other never was added. So this was not an easy thing to do. I can't decide if I appreciate the fact that their partner company called us about making a deal. We took the deal which is now costing us a fortune in interest, and our payments are higher, but everything is paid.

When I sign up I told them I had a debt going to court. They told me they work on it. They never did. Got court papers. I called the debt and explain I join Freedom Debt Relief. He was willing to work with them. I called Freedom and they refuse to call them. The bank give me another number to call.

I am almost debt free thanks to the dedicated staff; phone and advanced debt negotiators alike. From setting up paperwork, setting an obtainable payment plan and working with the creditors, the process has been really easy. They are good about keeping you updated with emails and phone calls too. I would recommend this process of clearing debt. The best would not get into debt to begin with, but sometimes life happens without warning!

Absolute peace of mind!! My only regret is that I didn't contact them sooner. Do it! Updated on 09/08/2021: The program has been really good. They've gotten quite a few of my bills paid. Freedom Debt Relief asked me how much I could pay and they didn't demand a certain amount. I told them what I could do and they worked with that. There have been a couple of times when I wasn't able to send in 304 and they helped. They understood. They told me what the pros and cons of that would be.

So, I cannot take the money I pay into the Freedom Debt Relief yet the credit card banks can send (secretly-without informing me) the IRS notices of debt being discharged which I then have to pay taxes on. Not cool, not nice. Actually, if it wasn't for the fact I will be done with this nightmare by December I would stop this nonsense right now and file for bankruptcy. Too late though, after paying $445 bucks a month so then the IRS can come back and penalize me. NO, I would definitely NOT happy.
