I was paying a relative large amount of payments to several credit cards. Freedom recommended a plan to get completely out of credit card debt. I agreed, and it worked. I am out of credit card debt. Thank you Freedom. Would recommend this company, Freedom, to anyone.

If I could give a negative review I would. I was lied to, treated horribly and my credit is still a disaster. Would NEVER recommend this company!!! They are expensive, and take advantage of you. I asked many straight forward questions ("Would I have to pay taxes on this?") and was flat out lied to. I owed a fortune in taxes after paying a fortune dealing with them. Not worth it! Contact your credit card companies, they will give you a much better deal and it won't kill your credit.

It took 3 yrs but FDR resolved all my assigned debt successfully restoring my credit and peace of mind. It was a lesson learned and I appreciate all their efforts. I'm not an emotional mess anymore. Thank you. On the other hand I recommended FDR to my daughter, Leigh Ann **. She hasn't been treated the same. Bank of America has filed a lawsuit against her and served her for non payment even though she's in a contract to not speak to her creditors. FDR has dropped the ball in her case. There is little communication between them and she's been so upset about being sued and FDR not doing anything to help her. She pays $700 into the fund a month and I am offering her $1000 to deposit into the fund to try to get the show on the road to settle her debt ASAP. Please look into this matter for me. I appreciate anything you can do to help her too. Thank you.

For all the skeptics, FDR works, period. I was so far in debt never in my lifetime would have paid it all off. I did my homework. Followed the step by step process and just over 48 months debt free. Credit score is right where it needs to be for me to buy a home next year. Call them it works.

I was very happy with the progress but then with my last creditor we went round and round. You had enough money in my account to pay the last creditor minus somewhere around $100. After about two months after my last auto monthly payment I was notified that my account was complete. I asked about the details and was given a bunch of BS. The last account, which was Bank of America, was never paid. I was told it was and the account was closed on your end. When I got the paperwork that account had been removed by your people. Instead of helping now you left me with an open account that was not handled as promised by you. When I called I was told the woman I talked to had been fired but you refused to finish the job you agreed to.

In 2012, I suffered a job loss as so many before me. Credit card debt was burying me, and I had burned through 100% of my savings. With the help of Freedom Financial, I was able to survive an entire year until I found a new position that gave me the income to pay my remaining debts. Had it not been for Freedom Financial, I was destined for bankruptcy. The short term gain was incredible as I have described, however the long term effect on my credit has put me right back in a debt spiral that I now have very little way to recover. I urge caution when going down this road as you will struggle for the full 7 years it takes to remove the negative marks to the credit score. If your credit score is already low, go for it!

My biggest problem has been with Customer Service. During one call I was told I didn't have a loan. If that was true where are my payments going? My question was then how much have I paid in and how much longer do I have. I then can compare it to my paperwork.

I am so glad you all were here to help me and knowing I am debt free. Thanks again and I would recommend you all to a friend or family member. I am just so relieved it would have taken me years to pay all them off. Thank you again.

I was very grateful for patience and assistance provided. Some FDR staff was NOT kind toward me near end of my program. Life in general and debts had me stressed, they caused me more stressed -- then one FDR support came onto phone line, heard me out and provided patience, understanding and he was very professional to help me reach the finish goal. I never told you but yes, It sure did work out for me. Thank you so much FDR and thank you for asking.

My only slight problem with my experience at FDR was getting the date of withdrawal correct. It was settled in a timely manner and from there the experience was nothing but excellent. All of the process was a great success. Everything was done in a timely matter. Whenever I would have any questions, they would provide the answer that I was looking for. You were not on hold very long for them to answer the phone and they were very friendly.

From the beginning Freedom had been there for me anytime I had a question or two. Always returning my calls and sometimes just calling to see how I am doing. When I had entered the program in 2013 I was told it would be a 3 year plan. My accounts were not settled until 2014 and my payoff is in 2019. Seems a little longer than what I was told since I had already paid over $3,000.00 into the program before my debts were settled.

They charged too much and I did all the work. Constant follow-up was needed on my part to see if they were acting on our behalf. They took an additional 6 months to approve our consolidation loan application because they pulled up incorrect financial information. I would not recommend this service if you're in the market to reduce your credit debt.

I was very happy with Freedom Debt Relief. They explained everything so I could understand the process. I did everything they suggested. Received very few calls from my creditors. They were always available when I called. I would recommend them.

They con me into a loan program with outrageous interest rates and will never lower payments no matter how much you beg. I pay almost 400 bucks every 2 weeks. A 30 K Loan ends up being 100k in their pockets. Would of been better if I went bankrupt.

We were thankful but when we consolidated the rest of our finances our interest rate went sky high and our credit score fell greatly making it hard to get any other help. Our payments are very high and hard to keep up to have enough to pay other bills or even eat, with our limited SS funds. Hope to get it over with soon. We would like to thank all the agents we spoke with during this difficult time. Our initial contact with Freedom Debt Relief made it seem feasible that we could finally get out from under our credit card debt. The payment plan was within our budget. Then we became eligible for the Consolidated Plus loan program, which gave us peace of mind. I ended up having to speak with just one of our creditors to negotiate a final payoff and it was very unnerving. I would have gladly given you five stars had your program not been a bait and switch. After approximately a year where you were getting my monthly payments and I was seeing efforts to negotiate down various credit cards, I was contacted by Consolidation Plus. I was advised that my credit card payments would take a long time to negotiate and pay off. This is not what I had been promised in the beginning of my program and I was never told the credit card companies would not accept your offers or wanted payments immediately. I do not have to tell you how they work, you work with them every day.

This was a tough time for us and embarrassing and we just wanted to right our financial wrongs the best possible way. I was in need of serious help. I accumulated a lifetime of credit card debt in a short time. I didn't know what I was going to do. Freedom did all the work, contacting my debtors, I just had to make one payment monthly on my part, and they did the rest.

I had accrued credit card debt in excess of $50K and was also going through a contentious divorce that didn't appear to ever be ending. It was at the point that while trying to pay more than the minimum payments on the various credit cards, the credit card companies would stonewall me in any effort to seek a reduction of interest rates etc... It was told to us that rarely is there litigation or 10-99's sent to you. We have received a 10-99 for every account costing us to owe taxes. We have been sued twice inside of 1 year and when we really needed assistance or a quick response, we didn't get it. Even when referring to settlement letters, there has been no response or we don't have them response. The system taught a lifestyle change but the customer support and the company's integrity is in question.

My experience started out great. Everyone was helpful and I was on my way to becoming debt free in 3 1/2 years. I loved the website and kept an eye on it monthly. After 3 1/2 years there was one account that continued to be "in progress". Because of this money was still taken out of my bank account to cover the costs of this account in limbo. There was more than enough money to cover this account if it ever proceeded forward. It was always an issue to stop the money from being drawn out of my bank account. I finished all my payments. In general terms, everything went as agreed. The only question I didn't ask and ask now is why the fact that everything has been covered and paid it will not reflect in my credit report? My thought is that I should have a clean report and better rate which is not the case... I would like to have answers to that. Otherwise, the experience was as agreed...

You may pay fees but not anywhere near what your credit card fees are. They got creditors off our back... negotiated write-offs... helped us with courts... but mostly gave us the time to get ourselves sorted out and back on our feet financially in less than 5 years. I was highly disappointed with the FDR program. The company looked out for their interest not mine. My debt was 51k and I ended up paying 49k plus I will have to pay taxes on settled amount. I will end up losing money. Horrible.

I contacted FDR in 2015 for help in settling some $22,000 in credit card debt. Only had one problem and that was our first payment coming out early and overdrawing our bank account. I called and they did refund some of our overdraft charges, but it was a major inconvenience. They did very well a negotiating for us and getting our balances down.

I had an awesome experience working with this program. Customer service was great. If anyone need help getting out of debt, I highly recommend trying this program. The process was easy and simple. The whole experience was a joke from the time I started with you. Customer Service was a joke. Could never get the same person twice working on your account. When you talked to someone you got the same run-around every time. After 6 months of totally destroying my credit and having accounts turned over to the court systems for a judgement, my account was turned over to Consolidated Plus at which time I worked with an agent there. I settled the majority of my accounts on my own for the agent and then when the final paperwork comes through Freedom Financial has over a $6,000.00 fee for their services in which they did nothing!!! I would never recommend this program to anyone!!! I have complete documentation of every phone call made to your company and my creditors!!!

Did not find the "sales people" to be in sync with the deliverable in our agreement. One might say they embellished a bit to get the sale. It took several calls to uncover the particulars of the services ie, that you be banking my funds to a certain amount before engaging my creditors. Feel free to call me **.

I would not recommend. You end up paying a large fee to me. They did not try to get me a better interest rate. You're offered a high rate and you have no choice because you already stopped paying your creditors per their advice. The interest was higher than half my credit cards.

FDR was great from the first phone call when I was just consulting. As long as you are committed to eradicating your consumer debt and you maintain focus and discipline, FDR is the way to go! I had a bi-monthly payment that was reasonable. They did all the work for me. I never had to have an uncomfortable conversation with any creditors or negotiate anything. My projected time to spend in the program was 39 months and I graduated in 41 months. FDR kept me updated and saved me thousands of dollars and boatloads of heartache and headache. I would recommend FDR to anyone who is serious about getting rid of their consumer debt.

First of all I did not know the amount I filed for Freedom Debt Relief would be considered income and I was taxed on that amount. Also, I was sued during the middle of the program. The bi-weekly payments were lower than all my credit card monthly payments, but the interest rate was at around 23 or 24%. It seemed my balance owing FDR was NEVER getting smaller. The people were very nice and knowledgeable, but the program was a very expensive way to try to get rid of some of my debt.

Great help. Easy to work with. The representatives were attentive and helpful. I was especially pleased with how fast they were at resolving my problem with my creditors. The monthly payments also helped to relent my cash flow problem. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was told that my graduation kit which has all the hard copies saying I paid off my debt so that I can send to the credit agencies still has not shown up. Was suppose to be arrive about 2 weeks and been 4 months. So aggravated with this company's horrible follow up. The concept is good but their process is frustrating.

In the beginning, there was a little stress with the setup, but perhaps that is common as there are many data to collect. The rest was quite simple and done automatically. I feel I was lied to about how you pay off different creditors. I was not happy with your practices after finding out. I called and asked for the person who signed me you to call and lie to me again so I could call him a liar but he never called. I would not tell someone to use you. I'm still not happy with what happened.

At first they were very good... fast and efficient. On certain negotiations, it dragged on and on. I had to continually call them and harass them to finish this process up which probably took a year and a half too long. Eventually, everything was settled and I was satisfied with the outcome. I don't feel they were 100% honest with me either when I would think about what one person would tell me and then would get another story from someone else... It was stressful and frustrating.

Freedom Financial was there when I needed it most. My credit card debt was huge and through them, I was able to settle most of them and consolidated my debt. There were others (a couple) that I had to personally negotiate, but a really helpful customer service representative coached me to be able to do it myself. All the customer service representatives that I dealt with were always helpful, kind, empathetic and efficient. I sincerely recommend Freedom Financial to whoever finds him/herself in the same position as I was.

I was excited in the beginning to start the program, but in the end I felt like I was not informed completely about the process. In the end I had to get a loan out and pay this debt consolidation because I couldn't afford to keep paying a DAILY INTEREST RATE. My original loan was for $11K, and at the end of my loan I would have had to pay about $22K which is ridiculous when my original debt was about that amount. Needless to say, I probably would never do the debt consolidation again EVER!

FDR was just what my family and I needed to help us with changing our mindset and approach when it came to our Credit Card debt. The process was clear and we felt comfortable the whole time! From the time we started the process, to the time our last account settled, we knew what was where we were going and that we were being taken care of.

Horrible company to deal with. They never return calls and did nothing that they promised. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They underperformed, lied to me and duped me into believing they were helping but once they get you to sign, forget it, no return emails, sit on phone calls for 20 minutes and one hand doesn't know what the other is done. This very email stating that I had completed their program is just another example of their not knowing what is going on. I have filed a complaint against them with the FTC and CFPA.

My payment plan and payoff ended in August 2016 but I have YET to receive my closing packet. I finally was able to get someone to help me from one of my debtors and my credit score went up 75 points. Poor communication and responsiveness.

Excellent program. They provided opportunity to consolidate and pay off debt that would have been difficult resolve. My only issue was the high interest rate charge for the loan but the program itself provided an excellent opportunity to become debt free.

The experience was good. The staff were courteous and helpful every time. The only thing I would change is that I didn't totally understand was that I would be taxed on the difference not paid because it is considered income. I would have done a higher % of payoff to the companies if I had realized before I agreed. I would have gone to 75% of the total. It has been helpful and I felt bad enough not paying the full amount because it was what I had was indebted to the companies.

Knowing that my credit was in bad shape I expected a higher interest rate. I however did not expect it to be as high as it is. Now after almost two years of payments I would think they could cut me some slack on the interest rate.

It started out fine. Credit cards started to be taken care of until the last one and your contract supposed to end and the company running you dry off your funds. That was the issue we had. Company not keeping their end of the bargain, you have to close your account.

Initially I was told it would all be settled and paid in a shorter time than what actually happened. I ended up paying more than what I owed on the credit cards by doing the consolidation due to the fact that the interest rate was more than 22%. Settling to pay less on the cards also ruined my credit score. I had a good score before I started this process and by settling totally screwed me. This mess stays on the report for seven years so I am still paying for the damage it has caused. I would not recommend this process to anyone.

Would have given 5 stars, but don't recall hearing or reading that the remaining balance of the settled account(s) would be subject to "earned income", and IRS taxes. Makes for a shocker when you receive a 1099 for $5K to $10K when it came tax time.

In the beginning... We loved FDR as a company and they were very helpful... however, 6 months into the program they suggested we go with their partner company Consolidation Plus. WE took their advice and things went all downhill. They talked a good game and we thought they were upfront. The payments were almost $100 more than previously and they started taking them more than a month before what we had agreed on. The paperwork came after we called and complained, that’s when they tried to do the welcome call.

Karlie was fantastic with working to reduce our debts. Very knowledgeable & seemed genuinely interested in our goals. After six months we were rewarded by being able to have a loan to consolidate. I will start with this, I am out of the credit card debt that I started with. Now I have a loan that I signed for and have to pay off but it's much more manageable. The people at Freedom are friendly and in the end, I got what I wanted. I wish I would have done more research on my end. Know that if you do the program that I did, that the credit card delinquency stays on your credit for 7 years. Besides that though they did what they said they would do.

I had 30K in credit card debit and was able to get it paid off just under four years. The painful part is that you stop paying your bills and they escrow your monthly payments. Two things to be noted, one the amount you don't pay back is taxable income per the IRS. Two, I had once credit card sue me in court. We got a repayment plan agreed to prior to the hearing but they will do that to put pressure on you and FDR. Also I still have a closed collections on the credit report. Your credit score will dip and then after a year or two start to rise up again. FDR does not help with this, but maybe it's a good thing because it stops you from borrowing more money which is how you got into the mess in the first place. Their fees are high, but in the end I was able to get ride of debt in under fours years, I could not have done that by myself.

I can not be happier and more satisfied with the way FDR helped me to solve my credit cards debt. In hard time for me they were the company who proposed a program that worked and came to a successful resolution. My credit score recovered and I am back on track with my finances. I had very little faith about this service. I had bad experience with other services. It was fast and they delivered on their promise. I really love the service. The service was great and fast. I was deep in debt and reluctant of trusting anyone with so many scams out there, but was able to find Freedom Financial. The process was simple, customer support was always reachable and able to help. After about 2.5 years I'm now debt free. This program works!

I was very happy working with Freedom Debt Relief. It was a pretty painless process. The stress relief after the process was unbelievable. The folks there were so respectful and friendly, I would recommend them to friends and family any day. I never had a bad conversation or transaction with them.

Up until my final credit card payment Freedom was a big help, but at my final payment they not only dropped the ball and left me to do the settlement by myself and took the settlement fee of 1200.00 out of my account without even notifying me. I called more than once to have them help with the final payments to my Credit Card and each time I was transferred to various people in different departments who all gave me different answers.

Once enrolled it seemed as though it took a long time to before we received any settlement offers. We had enough in our account to cover a few of the enrolled accounts for their full balances. So why it took so long for us to receive offers was a bit frustrating. When we did get offers we were only given the last 4 or so digits of the account. It would be more helpful to indicate and/or include the name of the account involved. Happy to have finally settled everything but the settlement offers did take over 1 year to receive on some.

We are pleased with the program. Wish they would have told us about the taxes we would have to pay for 3 years. They tell you you "might" have to pay and that is a understatement! You will have to pay taxes on everything that is written off.

This is a decent program but they really lag in paying the bills off, once we got into the payoff program. They do this to get more money from you with the percentage that they charge. We were all and all satisfied, and we are out of debt which would have taken us a lot longer, so there are some good things about this program.

FDR was a great help to me, I paid off my debt in about 2 years and now things are ready to move forward. I was concerned about my credit score going down but after 2 years my score is coming up and should be back to where it was before I started this process soon.

I was flat out lied to when signing up with your program. I was told my credit would be cleaned up when finished and that they would help remove the entries from my credit. I had never missed a single payment in all my credit history, I was just going through a divorce and it was all I could do to pay minimum payments on all my cards. I needed food and gas money to feed my son and get to work. I feel I was definitely preyed upon. I never missed a payment with this program either, and already sent to getting a loan. Upon completion, you couldn't provide me anything regarding any accounts. I can't get settlement letters or any information regarding the companies that you settled with so I can try to clean up my credit myself.

Phone service flexible with many situations including payment options and with providing information about filing for a "Hardship Request". However when the hardship requests (2) were processed they were denied due to "not meeting principal requirements." I am currently looking for employment and know I would not be able to submit a third hardship request since it would be turned down again.

We were so happy about getting out of debt, that we started saving the amount and more that we used to pay you towards our debt! 3 years later we are buying a dream home and have a emergency account and a huge down payment!!

This have been a very good experience to resolve my debts. So far up until this date after 6 months on the consolidated plus, I am disappointed that I could not get my payment lowered. I was told it would not be a problem after 6 months. Well, it is! They want me to prove all my income on my tax form over again. It is not all on my tax form. They did not approve it! I have always made my payments. This is another pressure and hardship for me.

After dealing with identity theft, my credit fell to a 526. I struggled to build it back up while paying the attorney to remove the lien that have been placed on my home removed. I found Freedom Debt Relief and gave them a call. Everything was handled quickly and very professionally. They negotiated with my creditors to get most of my balances cut in half and gave a repayment amount that worked with my budget. After 6 months of good payments, my account was reviewed and the Consolidation Plus dept of the company called to offer me a loan to pay off the payment plan and help rebuild my credit. Once again, the process was super easy and my credit score is up to a 618 after the first 4 payments. They even let me split the payment and pay every 2 weeks. I will only owe my mortgage and car payment in 4 years. I couldn't be happier.

Freedom Debt Relief did a fabulous job of negotiating with all of our creditors and getting these debts paid off in a timely manner. We didn't have to do anything after the initial paper work except make our monthly payments and watch our debt disappear. Very highly recommend!

My experience was two fold. On one end your company contacted creditors and negotiated lower balances. Very helpful. On the other hand of the 12K or so I paid while in the program over half of that went to your company. I could have negotiated on my own and saved myself 6K plus in fees and charges from you. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I tried to get a consolidation loan and was told that I had too much credit to qualify so the person on the line talked me into this program. I had never missed a payment on any of my bills... I just wasn't making progress paying them off. It was not explained thoroughly so I was shocked when I realized there was no communication with my creditors and I began getting collection calls. I later due to being on the phone for a negotiation phone call found out that they were not giving my creditors the money I was show. As the settlement but a much lower amount. My credit was trashed and now over 2 years later some of these marks are still on my record even though they were "settled". Had I known when I started what they were going to do I would have said "No". Only do this if you are literally bankrupt and already behind on payments!!!

I had a great experience with the company and the customer service throughout the process, though I was sacked with major taxes and fees last year, and my credit scored dropped over 250 points. If I had know this going into the program, I would of never signed up. And I am still paying off the loan, so I'm really not debt free. It took me a year to rebuild my credit score back to the 770's it once was. My Financial Advisor was very upset I went into the program without consulting with him first!

I was not all satisfied with this program. They do not tell you about the hidden fees until you have signed up. Also, I was not pleased with paying one debt at a time instead of taking some of the big payments out of my checking and paying on all of my accounts. After signing up, I got so far behind that I even got a summons to court in regards to one of my account. After about 7 months, I realized that this was not working on my behalf, I decided to get out. I spoke with 6 different representatives that told me that I had to pay a fee and they all gave me different amounts that I would have to pay! For proof please pull up my account. As of today, I still feel as of today that I am owed money back. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this program to anyone.

I was really close to losing my home. This opportunity came along at the right time. They walked me through the process in a short amount of time I had a plan for getting out of debt. They could not have been more compassionate about my situation.

The negotiations between FDR representatives and the creditors went very well. They were able to settle debt for a portion of what was owed. However, FDR claims there is no fee for their service. When I got the consolidation loan for the remainder of the balances owed, it was explained to me that there was a 2K plus fee. This fee is NOT the finance charge for the loan. If I had to do it again, I probably would because my discretionary income was gone. However my credit score fell from a 700 to a 530. I was never late on any of my credit cards prior to entering the FDR program.

Went through a loan consolidation with Freedom Financial after going through another loan consolidation company the previous five years. This previous company was a fluke. If I would have gone with Freedom financial to begin with, I would have been debt free in two years. I never got out of debt or had a decrease in my financial debt after five years with the other company.

I had quite a few credit cards and Freedom Debt Relief consolidated them for me into one small monthly payment and I completed the program in about 36 months. A few months short of what was expected. I was advised my credit would take a small hit initially, but my credit was fine within three months after completing the program and without paying all the interest I was being charged by the credit companies I owed. I would recommend FDR to anyone seeking relief from high-interest credit card debt.

My experience was amazing with Freedom. I only experienced one issue and that was when I was finished and had paid my balance but yet got charged a final payment and was told there was nothing they could do. In the end they fixed it.

Yes, Freedom Financial got my credit card balances down to a level that I could pay them off, but then the IRS considered the relieved debt to be income, and I found that I owed thousands to the government instead of credit card companies. I didn't really save any money--I simply ended up paying it to someone else. This upset me because I asked at least a thousand times whether I could incur any unexpected costs and was assured no. While this was not a cost charged by FF, they certainly knew it was possible, and admitted that once it happened.

I was extremely happy with how Freedom Debt Relief handled my account. In four short years, my credit card debt was completely gone. Freedom Debt Relief made the entire process easy and painless. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to reduce their debt.

Overall, the program worked as stated, but the interest rate on the consolidation loan was a little excessive. Best to pay that one off asap. What would be a better service for consumers is if that rate was more friendly, for a lower payment.

Their customer service was very knowledgeable and were there for us with any questions we may have had. I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family.

Payoff and help was great. The problem is after two years I am struggling to make the one big payment. I have tried to refinance which we qualified for but all of a sudden they noticed we have been late on some other bills, due to the high payment, and they would not lower my payment, even though we were not late on them.

I would rate the experience higher if your interest rates were not so high. In many cases, your rates are higher than what we were paying with the credit card companies. If you truly want to help people, I think you should take a close look at that area.
