Freedom Debt Relief helped me tremendously to lower my debt. I was hesitant at first, I made that call to FDR and after speaking to a representative I decided to take that leap of faith, my faith was in the system/process that FDR offered. I decided to go hard and do a 2-year program. I got rid of 65% of my debt in 16 months, in another 8 months, I will be debt free. The percent of your debt as their fee is ridiculous, but I guess it's the price you have to pay for a peace of mind. My credit score, at 750 6 months after graduating from the program. Thanks FDR.

The name really says it all, you gain freedom from the debt, yet you have the peace of mind knowing that you fulfilled your responsibility to the company you owed. So nice to have someone actually be able to give real help to real people, I would tell anyone to get involved with Freedom because they really care.

While it's a good thing to be able to consolidate all credits cards and have a company such as yours help with the process, I found it outrageous that after accumulating roughly 6,000 dollars over a ten month period, I was only credited with around 3,000.00 and have no clear idea or explanation as to where the rest of the money was spent. Secondly, while it's natural that my credit would suffer in such situation and would have to work at building it up again, I find it, again, outrageous to be charged a 23% interest for a loan.

Overall my experience with Freedom was excellent! The representatives that I worked with were very helpful. It took a little time to build up money in my account, which was sometimes frustrating for me, but overall it was worth the time and effort. I'd give them zero stars but it won't let me. They didn't save me any money and this actually cost me more once they were done. Horrible customer service and follow up. My credit score went Down 280 points because of them! Never ever recommend or use them!!!

Everything went good except I'm having my paycheck garnished to pay off my Discover card which you all didn't help me with! So hopefully I won't be going through this again but if something ever does I won't use your company.

Everything was good. Was signed up for 4 years. It took almost 5 years to settle all in all. I would recommend FOR all accounts were satisfied! Customer service was awesome and all my questions were answered with all the information I required!

When I finished the program my Credit Score was 500. Now after 1 year later my Score is 746. This program really works!!! Easy to do. Just follow up online. My credit took time and you must make sure you make your monthly payments. Stay focused.

I was very pleased with the service. It helped me to recover, repay my debts within a reasonable amount of time. I always intended to pay my bills but fell behind due to the changes in the economy and changes in my job. The high percentage of the loans on top my usual payments made it impossible to make any payments on time, so I was falling more and more behind. Choosing Freedom Debt Relief to help us pay off our debt was one of the best financial decision. We paid 75.000 in 3yrs. On scale 1-10 I rate their customer service at 8. Good PR, prompt for the most part. Nobody's perfect! :) I do recommend it to my best friend!

Freedom helped me to become debt free in under three years. I was about 100 grand in CC debt. Now I have no debt, I am free at last. I have no plans of ever going in CC debt again. I am very thankful to Freedom! If Freedom would like to interview me I would be happy to do so.

My experience came down to having to get a loan to pay off the debt that was going into delinquency. My credit score was so low that the loan I qualified for was at 18%. They were not totally up front with the whole process. Lesson learned!

Thinking about Freedom Financial, I can say that I was disappointed with the amount of time it took to pay off my credit cards. I think I was expecting a quicker turn around time. It did teach me to stop and think about what I wanted to buy or if it was something I needed. Maybe I just didn't know the right questions to ask when signing up. However, I'm glad I did as I learned a lot about myself and how I live.

When you think of the fees which are like 22% and the fees to later go onto c+ and later be 1099 you question whether or not they are there for you or them. I guess you do save a little though but if you ride out the interest they charge you for c+ it comes to about even.

I felt they were an answer to my prayers to finally be debt free. In eight months all of my credit card debt was resolved and consolidated into two monthly payments and I was no longer using credit cards to live on daily and actually started to save money. I thank God for Freedom Debt Relief!!!

I was not given all the information before I made a decision. I wanted to get a loan. I would not have closed my credit cards if I had all the facts. I got lawyer insurance but it was not needed because I transferred the accounts before that time.

In the beginning of the process we were happy, but by the end we were extremely unhappy and no one cared. We were NEVER informed of the 1099s that would come and the high taxes we would end up being responsible for and that seemed like a misrepresentation. We also received several 1099s late, after the April deadline, from Freedom and had to pay additional fees to the IRS for filing amendments late. We would not recommend a friend, for those reasons.

I requested a call to refinance the unrealistic finance charges and I was never called. I spoke to a representative regarding the amount of time left on my loan. I believed I was nearing completion and found I had another 4 years. I have paid for approximately 3 years, on time every month and I am considering contesting the loan for unfair practices for excess charges. I would appreciate a call to refinance the balance of my loan. Thank you.

Very unhappy with this company. Had to pay a lot of taxes due to not paying my bills off. I call and no one would talk to me. I had to pay $1900.00 due to not being told about a 1093C form. I think that is the number. I called again and was told that the forms had been mailed to me. I have NEVER received anything from this company.

We were lied to by initial contact rep. He told us as long as we completed all notices to CC companies we would never get calls/Emails/Letters/Judgment, which all happened often/Daily. We got mail for another party. We wound up paying a law firm in san diego. Capital One accounts which all letters had been sent to that we were involved with Freedom. We had to pay for judgment costs from the subpoena. Promises of reductions/adjustments took forever to finalize. There is more, this is the gist.

Medical issues prevented me from working, loss of medical benefits and struggling to get disability almost bankrupted me. The market crash took 40% of my savings, taxes on the remains balance took an additional 10%. All of the combined events were leading to a bankruptcy that was against my ethics and you stepped up to the plate and prevented that bankruptcy. You helped prevent a bankruptcy for me and for that I am grateful. Thank you, so much.

Working with Freedom Debt Relief was exactly what I needed. They were very helpful as to what information I needed to get started in my debt relief. We were screwed by this program and aggressively sold to a high-interest loan company which charges us 22+% interest. Instead of the three years of debt resolution promised by Wendy. We won't pay off this loan until 4 and half years later. Meantime we have been hit big time by the IRS and owe large tax bills. We would have spent less $$$ if we had just tried to pay off the original bills. This company sucks!

Always there when being harassed by collectors. Was penalized on taxes though and affected when purchasing vehicle with negative reports. I paid off loans regardless since bills were accrued due to medical issues and building home. None of credit companies were willing to work with me. No choice but to ask for help.

Unfortunately you couldn't solve two of my account which that cost me a lot more than I suppose to pay. It is too late now but I have to say I wasn't happy at all. Instead you could find another way for me instead of end up in collection and pay lot more than I owe.

Given that going through this process is very, very stressful and upsetting for those of us who have struggled through it, every call to the client service line was very frustrating. Every person who answers the phone is very impersonal and not friendly or reassuring at all. I had several instances where I asked someone to call me back and they never did. Apparently they don't contact every creditor in the beginning to tell them the client is enrolled in the program and will be negotiating a payback amount. I had one creditor who wouldn't negotiate (not Freedom's fault) and sued me. Another creditor just got tired of waiting and sent me a 1099 for a large amount. My credit has still not recovered and I finished the program several years ago. It's just a miserable experience all around. I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

FDR is a great company, they have easy and helpful customer service and they got me about half off of each of my debts approximately. This system does absolutely ruin your credit however, which I knew going in. In hindsight, I would've rather have paid all of my debts and saved my credit.

I had so much bad experience with Freedom that I would never recommend Freedom due to not reveal the truth about how the program works. Freedom need to let the customer knows that they taking part of the settlement that is made to the creditors.

I had five credit cards with high balances. The amounts were so high that as a widow I could never pay off these balances. After my consolidation meeting, FDR negotiated on my behalf balances at approximately 55%. I had paid a down payment to FDR so they could start negotiating each account with reasonable time frames. The only thing that I was not prepared for was the dramatic reduction of my FICO. It went from 2nd to the highest to 2nd from the lowest.

It took a while to get the process started but my debts are cleared up and my credit score is starting to rise. After I was in the program for almost a year I qualified for the consolidation loan where all my debts were paid off and I make one loan payment to one place. Its great. The stress and anxiety about my debts are paid.

Overall, the program did work, but between countless calls and emails (the web portal did not provide all info I had been looking for) it seemed that each rep I spoke with was on a different educational trajectory. Throw in the late 1099s which prompted an IRS audit, and I would not recommend the service.

This program did cut my total payments made in half, however, my credit score did not return to a respectable level due to reporting by creditors. I would have been better off filing BK and saved a lot of money, and had a better credit score after seven years. Decide wisely, depending on how much you owe now and how much you can save by BK. In the end it will take at least 7 years to restore your credit score anyway.

I do agree that Freedom Debt Relief, did help me with my credit cards. But wasn't told that would affect my income tax return. I had pay $1,400.00 to the IRS this year. And next year will probably have to pay more to the IRS.

I was extremely happy to have a friend recommend me to FDR due to my total credit card debt and not being able to meet their required monthly payment. After speaking with an FDR representative and forwarding all the information they needed they were able to resolve my credit card debt in half and then I was transferred over to the Consolidated Plus Program to set up my payment schedule with them.

I was shocked at the pressure to sign up for a loan to pay off my debt which costs about the same as the $10,000 your company saved me. After following your company's advice I now have the worse credit rating I have ever had and can't get a loan to pay off a 24% interest loan through consolidated plus. That is why I am unhappy.

Go to the phone right now! They've given me relief from the endless amounts of money I was paying each month, getting nowhere close to a zero balance. I was very dissatisfied with the service. I had to pay $3,000 in taxes. Have told several people about my bad experience. Still paying very high interest too. They don't tell you this when you get started. Also had to update bank account info. Wasn't done had to call back. Poor customer service.

While my overall experience with FDR was good, the only problem is, when I need to talk to someone, I am being transferred from one person to another. Most of the time, I talk to different people each time I called. In addition, in the middle of the term, I was being asked to add additional money, but I refused since my understanding was, for the whole term, it will be one amount monthly. It also took a little while before I got back my extra money save with FDR. Anyway, it was so nice that the payment has been completed after all. Maybe it would be better if I know how many months have I contributed. My savings was returned. Thank you FDR.

I worked with Freedom Debt Relief and found out that I could have handled my payoffs myself and saved approximately $3000.00. I also get calls on a regular basis from one of the companies stating that I still owe them, and I receive bills with the "negotiated" balance. So in essence what they stated they saved me is actually still on my bill and I continue getting collection calls. After contacting FDR I was told that I was no longer in the program and I would have to handle this issue myself.

I enjoyed working with my representative but, I was not satisfied with them not paying off my loan through the credit union. I thought they would consolidate all my outstanding balances. I am glad I am on my way to being debt free in a couple of years.

So much information is not disclosed. I guess they prey on people finding out the hard way. And just when you think you're going to be ahead of the game, you get beat up on your tax return. You are better off taking out a personal loan. Nearly 9 months went by before this company contacted my creditor. Did more damage to my credit this way.

I was hesitant to do this but I settled the debt I had and honestly saved money. I would have been paying interest forever. Great savings and the customer service is great too. I thought that the collectors would never stop calling but just leave it up to Freedom. They will handle them.

I appreciated 90% of my experience, but you have to stay on top of the process the whole time. There were some very good representatives but there were some mistakes that cost me in the long run. Yes I would and have recommended them to others.

I am please that my debt was eliminated, but I am not so happy that I have negative marks on my credit report because Freedom telling me not to pay my bill. I would like for the negative mark to be taken off my credit, but I am not sure how to do it.

Overall I was fairly satisfied with Freedom Debt Relief. Along the way there were a few misunderstandings and trials, but we made it through them. My biggest frustration was last year, after being out of the program for a while, I called to get some information and I had a horrible experience then. I couldn't recall my exact draft amount, so therefore I couldn't be helped. Mind you, I had been out of the program for at least a year, I had gone through a divorce and didn't have all the paperwork and I was treated very poorly. Finally I "demanded" to speak to a supervisor and I FINALLY got the help I needed. That was another story by itself. I know some of those things were done for my protection and security, but it went way beyond out-of-line. I was not happy at the service I was given nor the way I was treated. Thank the Lord that I was already done with my program.

Once I was signed up it was very difficult to get a response from them. Did I get rid of my debt - yes, sort of. I had to incur new debt (to FDR) to pay off the negotiated settlements. And, I wish I had known that having debts forgiven counts as income for income tax, and is therefore taxed income. By the time you add up the new loan and the income tax, I would have been just as well off to spend that money with my creditors, and would still have a decent credit score. Add in 6+ months of phone calls... If I knew then what I know now, I would have done it differently.

Everyone was very nice and understanding. I think in the next year we will see that we made the right decision. I think it is very hard to make those kind of decision. Your credit scores affect everything that you do. It is so easy to go down the wrong path. Thank you.

Trying to get to talk to someone takes an act of congress. They never call you back nor do they email you back with an answer to your question. Do yourself a favor and talk directly to creditors. They WILL WORK WITH YOU. Worst experience of my life.

I was being swallowed up with chided support and revolving credit card debt. The program allowed me to get rid some outstanding bills and kept me afloat. l am very grateful to the program and would highly recommend it to anyone in the same kind of situation.

Felt this was a good program. Part I do not like is the loan portion offered after I was in it for 4 months. I felt they didn't explain the loan process very well and that the interest rate is unreal! Very poor explanation to that program. Not happy with them at all! With you guys, I would be done by January 2018. With them, it is now May of 2020! Wished I could get out of it!

Freedom Debt Relief was great. They kept on top of things and did a good job of negotiating the amounts down. The monthly payment was not too bad either considering the amount of debt I had incurred. As a consumer, you do need to keep on top of faxing any letters that you receive from the creditors. After a while, the calls did stop.

I am pleased with the fact that once Freedom Financial took over my debt I did not have to worry about these creditors any longer and that the issues were being handled. The only issue I have with the whole process is as we approached my final creditor settlement instead of paying it in one lump sum it was carried out over 12 months and there was enough funds to handle it in one payment. I requested it be paid at one time but felt I was ignored and they wanted to postpone the final settlement.

I might be paying back my large (the amt.) credit cards quicker, in the long run. I'm ending up paying more than what I owed in the beginning. I was told I would be done paying my loan in 3 years but as it's put and graduate, but that only meant I was put on another loan and began the 3 years again. Not satisfied!!

My only issue was that I ended up paying more each month than I did before I started so daily living was very hard. I would have also preferred to have been given a monthly update rather than having to go online. So now I am not sure if I have paid off or how much longer I have.

I was desperate, I was unable to work, unable to pay even minimum payments on my massive debt. I paid and paid, never getting anywhere with Freedom. Consolidated came along, things got even worse. If you use these companies, make sure you read the fine print. The interest rates were astronomical. We ended up borrowing against my husband's retirement account. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Freedom Financial got me out of debt. They did what they say they are going to do. And, they greatly reduced my stress levels regarding debt in my life and the process of getting out of it. I don't believe that I could have succeeded on my own and it certainly wouldn't have been as smooth of a process. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that when my last account was taking longer than expected to settle, it seemed like no one really knew exactly what was going on, and I didn't have one person focused on it or me. Everyone was really kind and helpful, but it was frustrating at times, because I kept getting different answers. In the end, though, the account resolved with better than expected terms, and therefore, it was worth the wait.

Again, go some place else! Calls continue... letters come... Then oh my favorite you have to claim on taxes the relief they get you!!! Stop. Exit the website.

I did have to go to court once, and that was embarrassing. I wish FDR had attorneys you could work with at FDR... who could represent you free of charge.

I was told everything would be taken care of and I would owe a fraction of what I actually owed. I ended talking and negotiating with the lending institutions that I was defaulting against and after all said and done. I had a loan for the same amount I owed but with a huge interest rate and I am still being penalized by all credit agencies for serious defaults in my history because of this. Was the worst decision I have ever made (financially).

While I am happy with the overall service received and the ability to be able to pay down my debt, a few things would have helped: 1- it was not properly explained by the "sales" associate on how the monies paid into the program work and how dent is paid down. You are left to assume incorrectly that they will front funds to pay off debt and then collect form you at a high interest but that is NOT the case. They use ONLY your accumulated funds. This poses some issues as you move forward in the process. Would like to have know this from the outset. 2- the cost is quite extraordinary and although it is a valuable service, you are ultimately on your own with many issues regarding debt collection that fall outside their parameters. For the amount of money these services cost I would like to see them be more robust in their offering and help. That said I am happy to be debt free and all their assistance.

It was a long haul and a lot of debt, but I am glad I used Freedom Debt Relief to help me get rid of credit card debt. Everyone was great to work with, but the only thing is the creditors still called while working with the program.

You are the biggest scam company I've ever have used. You had more fees than paid on credit cards. Had to take care of last one myself because you wanted triple the money for settlement and the ** still on my credit report because of your ** company.

Was a relief... was diagnosed with colon cancer and the debt was too much... needed help and Freedom Financial was the answer... they took care of it and seemed like no time was done! Is such a relief to know I don't have to worry about being in debt anymore.

It took time to work through this, about five years, but once I had got it paid, I felt so much better. It also made me much more aware of not getting into debt again, and much more disciplined. One's credit rating is not the best while going through this, but once one has paid it, the creditors realize you are dependable because of your track record.

The amount I am paying to get out of debt is almost as much as if I negotiated a settlement myself. I understand that I was in debt for over 25k and your company got that down to 12k but after scaring me into taking your loan offer at 25% interest my total payment to you is almost what I owed. The credit card companies offered a better deal. But, I am months away from paying off this burden and that is what you promised would happen.

Really happy with the results from this program! I will be out of credit card debt in less than 3 years. Half of my debt was excused. Would recommend this program to anyone who is in credit card trouble. This program makes me think twice about charging up my credit cards again.

Too many calls explaining things to everyone who seemed to juggle my call like a hot potato every time I called. Said account was closed and final bill paid then received summons in mail. Total disaster. They still owe me a credit for overpaid balance I sent them over a year ahead of time to complete the program. No one understood what I wanted. I contacted your agency in December 2013 and after your program had taken an exorbitant amount of percentage for service (settlement) charges for a year, then you turn me over to ConsolPlus so this program can get additional astronomical fees and finance charges because I received a court summons from a creditor. I'm NOT SATISFIED at all and I am letting as many people as possible know.

All went well with Freedom Debt Relief, helped me out of a jamb. After a few months of Freedom negotiating with creditors they had most of them talked down to lower payoffs. Then they offered me the opportunity to hook up with one of their Partners Consolidation Plus who lumped all remaining debt into one loan. Interest rate is a bit high but I am currently refinancing everything with a local lender so it all worked out.

Due to my own financial carelessness, I accumulated a significant amount of debt across several different accounts. It was becoming very hard to manage and I was making no progress. Freedom's plan simplified the matter into one lump sum and by attacking it with bi-monthly payments. I was able to get out of debt in a fraction of the time it would have taken me if I had stayed the course of treading water.

My debts were consolidated into one monthly payment. My area of concern is I did not get any assistance with the credit bureaus to get my credit score back on track, which I still need assistance. With my understanding when I signed up, I would get this assistance which I'm still waiting for.

I had an overall good experience however there was one creditor that Freedom Finacial left out. They are sending me collection letters years after I had Freedom Financial take care of all my creditors. When I spoke to freedom financial, the first time they told me I should have read and made sure all creditors were on the list. I understand that. But shouldn't I trust that Freedom Financial captured ALL creditors? That's the reason I paid all those fees. It seemed like they didn't want to take responsibility for making a mistake of leaving one creditor out. It was over $6K. Now I still keep getting a collection letter that should have already been paid off!

Within a few weeks, they had negotiated with two major credit card companies and were able to reduce and settle debt to an obtainable pay off within a few years. My credit score improved dramatically after a few months with this remarkable program. FDR's customer service is very reliable and available as you need them. I was trusted to Freedom Debt Relief and enrolled with them, but I regret it, because they did not negotiate for settlement to my vendors and taking my monthly deposit money. I was paid their fees 23% of my debts for 2 accounts. After that have decided to cancel my enrollment. Then I myself called to my vendors to negotiate for settlement, I have done all my debts and no need to pay service fees then I am out of debt collections.

The help I received with any questions was good. I don't think I would ever utilize this type of financial help again in the future. After starting the program and after a few months of stress, they ended up convincing me to take out a loan that they helped set up for me. I am no further out of debt than I was before. Yes it did save me a few dollars, but in the long run, it ruined my credit, and I still owe a lot of money. I was told when I filed my taxes that it would have been better if I just filed bankruptcy. I would have been better off not even signing up with this company.

My experience at first was a bit harrowing. When I called about information about my account, information I received was vague. We felt bad having to use Freedom Financial Services, but we both lost our jobs from the same company at the same day. Bills were piling up and we just couldn't keep up. We followed the program and finished in a timely manner. What a relief!

Although they did resolve one of my debts to my satisfaction, I submitted 3 Creditors and they more or less told me I was on my own for the remaining 2 debts. Their fees are a little exorbitant and was not properly explained to me, ie: very high interest rate on loan to me to cover settlement of one debt and very high "service" fee.

They held my hand every step of the way. Very professional. Every time I had a question/inquiry they got back to me within 24 hours. I never felt like things weren't going to get resolved. Also they made sure to get me the best deal. I really felt as though they were working to help me become debt free. It wasn't just an account.

I was very please with the way my account was handled by Jason **, the Freedom Debt Relief agent. He was patient and kept me in the loop of everything. I did recommend this program to a friend, however, she ended up filing bankruptcy.
