Entered the FDR Program 3 years ago. After working through all our accounts, we are Credit Card Debt Free as of July 31, 2017 and didn't have to file bankruptcy. Our credit scores have improved dramatically and we are free of debt collection calls and threats. FDR took care of everything.

It was a long hard fight but we got our credit card debt taken care of. We still had to pay taxes on the debt that was written off. That was not told to us when we started. This information needs told to customers.

The results were promising. My experience was positive and I am appreciative for all that Freedom did for me. I do feel they were honest with me on almost everything, but I had one minor issue on a settlement that they fixed and honored admirably.

My representative made me feel better about my situation and was always upfront and honest with me regarding each situation. She totally had my best interest at heart when dealing with the creditors. She was very responsive when I needed to contact her.

So far I have had a wonderful experience with Freedom Debt Relief. Thanks to the professionalism and patience of Cristen **. I look forward to getting out of debt with the help of Freedom Debt Relief. I also look forward to referring friends and family to Freedom Debt Relief if they are in need of help with their debt or financial situation so they can get the relief they may need as myself.

Very informant about the program and great at explaining it. Am sure this is the right program for me. I can see my future without the debt I am now dealing with. This program does give hope to those who need it most.

My headaches are gone, as well as my stress, not sleeping at nights, I can finally take a deep breath and be relieved from all that. Freedom Debt Relief has given me back my life. I thank you from the bottom of my Heart!

Everyone was helpful, respectful, Kind... The only issue I had was that I was asked to submit a POA for American Express on several occasions. Never could figure out why??? I think it was Marshelle that forwarded the original POA to people as they requested the same POA over and over. Since then I have been impressed with the efficiency of everyone concerned.

This is a little early to comment since I started late July but with what I had to do everything went well with the help of all involved. Brent ** is the person I have dealt with and when he wasn't available he called as soon as he could in the same day. He has been very helpful. I get a lot of emails which I keep in case I need to go back to them.

These guys really helped me with my debt problem. Yes it took some time, but all the great things do. Patience is the virtue. Done with all my creditors and so happy. They really tried to help, any questions that I had they were really helpful.

I have been off work for 17 months on a medical leave (very unplanned). I have tried to just keep up with minimums on credit cards just to have interest rates go crazy. My experience with Freedom Debt Relief has been a lifesaver for me. My debts have been handled through their representatives in a professional manner. I have not had any problems with my debtors since turning over my debts to FDR. I appreciate all they have done for me and setting me on the right track for the future. When the unexpected happens and you're not prepared it is very scary. It is physically, financially, mentally draining. When a life threatening, unexpected medical emergency invaded our life. This journey was very scary at first. But I have found that with every call I have made to the people at FDR, I always feel reassured with honest open answers to my questions by REAL people. And, I feel more at peace as this journey continues. The very first person I spoke with before I signed on was herself a graduate of the FDR and that is one of the reasons I decided this was for me too.

I chose to cancel my program before the first month ended when I learned the counselor who was "assisting" me had not been truthful. Despite repeated conversations by email and phone and constant assurances that my credit report would not be damaged, that FDR would not receive any money until my debts were solved, etc. I learned that none of this was true. Then, it cost me the fees that had already been deducted to learn that what I was told was not the truth but I was stuck for those amounts. Roughly $32 was a small price to pay to save myself and my credit, but it still stings as I was very clear about my concerns. A reminder to listen to that little voice inside when you think someone is not being straight with you.

Taqiy was very pleasant to work with. He explained everything. I would highly recommend him and Freedom Debt Relief. Pat that welcomed me to the program was professional and easy to understand. I should have taken advantage of this program. Months ago.

My Review with Robert ** was a very pleasant experience. He was very informative. And helped me with something that was becoming overwhelming to me. I was a little leery at first. Venetia was very polite and thorough. She answered my questions and concerns. Although I struggle to get my payments to my creditors on time, I still find myself not getting anywhere. Venetia was patient with me and walked me through the process. I already feel as though a huge weight has been lifted off me.

Always had a best interaction with the reps and they work fast and efficient on resolving my debt and keep me updated at all times. The easy to read and navigate dashboard makes understanding my account easy and email communication and approvals makes resolving matter in a timely manner so much easier since I am not always in telephone's reach.

The service is amazing. When I have questions they respond very quickly. Also they seem to work hard for you in resolving your debt issues. I have been amazed about how quickly they have resolved a lot of it. So I would recommend them without question to someone in need of help.

I would like to take the time to thank Freedom Debt Relief, for watching over my accounts. I could not get them under control. I am only in by about 3 months and we have already paid one card off. Looking forward to the months ahead.

Updated on 03/12/2020: I just made my last additional deposit so I could finish paying the whole thing. It’s in the process and it takes 30 days. I’m supposed to call back Arturo on the 29th or six months so it’s a stress reliever but I’m gonna be 100% stress-free when I pay the whole thing and FDR tells me that we’re done. It was kinda hard because I was paying $377 every month. I work almost seven days a week and sometimes, I take a break for two weekends. I then go back to work seven days a week so I could afford that kind of money because as a single mother, it’s not easy. It was worth it though.

On the whole, I have been pleased with my dealings with Freedom Debt Relief. A few of my customer service experiences have been frustrating, especially trying to get a response through email, which I have found to be nearly impossible. In another instance I called the Customer Service 800 number with a question & request and was told I should have a response within 2 weeks. After 6 weeks, I called again to learn that the earlier request I had made could not be done as I had asked at all. This was frustrating. The customer service reps are all very friendly and respectful, but may not always have the information they need to deal with clients.

So far it has been fair and anxiety reducing. It is a nerve bending experience, I hope for the best! I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to people or family members. The whole process was a little bit overwhelming at first but after talking to representatives it was much clearer.

When I call in everyone has been very helpful. I would recommend to a friend. Marlon calls and follows up and ask if I have any questions. The reps are great to talk and will answer my questions. Very glad I joined.

First call I have made regarding debt relief and I spoke to Ken. He put me at ease and explained the program and answered all my questions. I had pretty much decided to do it but did want to think about it. The next day I decided to call Freedom Debt Relief to compare programs. I spoke to someone that I did not feel comfortable with. So then decided to go forward with Freedom.

As a person going through this, there is a lot of insecurity that goes with it. FDR personnel and their lawyer affiliates are professional and sure when they answer questions. Keep them informed and they do the same for you. They contact you, you are not looking for them when you have a question. Thank you!

Overall you did a good job when I made payments. It seems there is no desire for you resolve the remainder account with Bank of America and pay off AMEX. I would really appreciate an explanation as to why it's going to take 2 more years if I sent all the money to pay these off.

Being in massive debt, it's been very challenging simply living day to day. Every time the phone rings, anxiety. When I see a new product that I find fun, interesting, or life-improving, more anxiety. I shouldn't buy that, I should pay my debt off. I was even afraid to get a job because not having one protected me from litigation. To say that I felt stuck does not even come close to the utter imprisonment and confinement I felt every aching minute of each and every day. This is not an easy step to do in life but Freedom Debt Relief give you encouragement through the process. When I call, the staff is helpful and friendly. I just started at the beginning of this year and have already felt better. I have NO regrets that this is the company I want be with.

I had a hip replacement surgery and about the time I was to go back to work, my hip dislocated twice. The second time caused severe nerve damage. I'm now on Long term disability and can not work. I asked for a loan to pay my bills off at a lower finance charge and was offered the debt relief plan. I have completed all of the paper work and I have sent the creditors notice. Paying 20% on a credit card is too high and you never can get it paid off in a timely manner;

Getting started with this program was a bit lengthy which is great because I was given the opportunity to ask questions. The rep Mike was great and extremely informative. I look forward to my continued work with this company. The process does not seem to be difficult, but I believe to be successful you have to stay on top of your account.

I can say thus far I am pleased with the progress of my account. I just started in April and I have 2 accounts that have been settled with my creditors. I can definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel. Once you are able to get past the numerous amounts of calls from the creditors you will start to feel better. When I started with FDR they made it sound so easy. What I did not know was that my creditors were going to be contacted "over a period of time". So what that looks like is "I'm being inundated with calls from my creditors wondering what is going on". Mind you I have NEVER missed to been late with a payment... AND in the process of all of this my credit score has plummeted! It's a long road to repair just to save money over time. I think I would have been better off paying the debt myself.

My certified debt consultant Robert was very thorough with reviewing the Freedom Debt Relief program and how it works. He made sure to ask if I had any questions for him about the program and answered them making me feel some relief concerning my credit and looking forward to being debt free. I can't wait till that day comes.

Lost almost a $1,000 a month income from my sister losing her job and her back is not letting her go back to work at this time. With Freedom helping at least we will be able to pay a lot of this debt to get us back on our feet in a few years.

They tell you how things will occur and they stick to it. Start up is very easy. The interviewers are knowledgeable and confident with their job. They make the whole process totally painless. They collect your information, state the payment and arrange for the paperwork to be sent to you digitally. You sign and return the paperwork. And then you only have to make the monthly payments via auto withdraw.

From what I've seen so far, they're the "BEST" at what they do! If you are ever in need of this type of assistance in negotiations, then you have found it. Not only is this type of service excellent, the tools and the customer service are absolutely stellar! It seems that within no time, your debt can be reduced significantly which is a huge win. :)

Not happy with the way this small account is taken so long. I was informed that if I was still having money withdrawn, it might be expedited. What is that all about. I sure would not recommend any other customers.

I am very happy with how Freedom was able to resolve my debt. The staff was always on top of everything and anytime I had a questions they we're able to answer them themselves or they transferred me to someone who could. I am very impressed with how they work.

At the start of my account I was told that my first payment would be for half the total amount. The second half would come out 2 weeks later. The next month they were supposed to take the whole amount on the 25th of the month, instead of 2 times a month. They did not change this and it ended up that they charged my account 4 times. Cost me over $150 in NSF charges. I spoke to them on the phone one day and it was changed to the 25th of each month, the next day they did it again and cost me another NSF charge. I cancel the account that day.

Clear, understandable, follow up is great, very easy to work with and helpful. Outstanding communication set up via phone, email as needed. I have gone through nightmares over debt problems and this service correctly helped in positive and appropriate ways to help me resolve them. I am absolutely satisfied with this service.

I started the program in late June, Rebecca has been very helpful with all my questions, all others I have chatted with from Freedom who went over everything with me were very kind and explained everything and sent me emails instructions on what to do.

I just signed up and the certified debt consultant, Monica ** was excellent. She was professional and kept in touch the whole time to answer my questions. As far as how this whole thing goes forward, I have yet to see. But this is a review on the enrollment process.

I am relatively new to this experience but I am very pleased with the service and updates. They are very helpful if I call and keep me up to date. I feel they are working in my best interest to help me with debt and money management. I feel much less stressed now that I have placed myself in their competent hands.

I was paying my bills on time. I was really seeing no downside on the balance. The interest was keeping the balance the same. So it would seem I was just throwing my money away. Turned over three accounts, one settlement has been negotiated and another is in progress. Freedom Debt Relief reps work with me as needed and are very professional and understanding. With regular monthly payments that are within my budget, I've been assured that I will be without credit card debt at the end of four years.

FDR is doing what they say they will just wish their fee was lower so more of my funds could go to my debt. I Know they charge fees for the service but wish it was lower or if they could take it out in installments through out the process. I am sure a lot of client like me get discouraged knowing a monthly payment or more is being deducted for settling one account.

Communication is lacking once your agreement is secured. Emails go unanswered and trying to get through to someone by phone is impossible. I'm enrolled 4 months already and only 1 account has been settled. Where is my money going! I am still getting phone calls from my creditors and bills for the settled account.

I'm satisfied the way it's going. All the phone calls have stopped from the creditors. We still get a few monthly bills in. We like the way it's going so far. It has helped us so much by going through Freedom Debt Relief.

Just started so it is early but so far I believe that I have made the right decision!! It took me awhile to make this decision but I wanted to get on top of my credit card debt. I was feeling like I was going to end in bankruptcy and at my age it was not something I wanted to admit to allowing to happen.

When I first started this program everything was going great and they were settling my accounts that I placed with them. I had been in the program for a year and a half. One of the accounts that I placed with them they ignored and didn't send them anything to show that I was in their program, and working to resolve my debts. Then I get a notice that I am being sued over a year later after submitting this account to them. I reached out to them and got told that until they have money in my dedicated account they can't do anything about it.

We are very happy with our experience. The only comment we would make is that, it's confusing as to what email address we forward which letters too. Such as what letters are forward to freedom and what letters are forward to national litigation.

I'm glad I contacted Freedom. It has lifted a great weight off my shoulders. Customer service has been great. I was so in debt I felt like I could not breathe. I had no extra money for expenses that came up being a single Mom. The only headache is dodging the calls from my debtors, but I am told it will stop soon. Can't wait until I am debt free.

I have had several disappointing experiences with Freedom: they have ranged from my payments I asked to be stopped not being properly processed to a paid off loan going to another creditor and the only way to get resolution was to complain to the BBB about Freedom. My latest experience is this: this Friday 7/28/17 I approved a loan, and then after further reflection, I realized I was not happy with the negotiation. Less than a 1/2 hour after approving I called in and said that I did not want it to be approved. The CSR said they had taken care of it.

Very pleased with my rep Gina **. And the relief I'm getting in amounts I owe. The emails are helpful and keeping me informed via email. The amount of balance owed is a great relief in my old age. Unfortunately my social security is being cut back monthly.

I have requested several times now for a credit card to be removed from the program and for payment to be made to another credit card with the money in my account, and it still hasn't to this point. I was told I had complete control over my program, and apparently, this is not the case.
