The worst mistake I ever made. I paid more than what I started with. Owed around 12-15k. They have you stop paying cards for a year. Running them up to 20+k after a year of settlements. Then give you a loan after paying for a year with interest that by payment total over 24k. The settlements should have been for my original debt not all late charges and interest you had me add on.

I reached out to Freedom Financial at a very difficult time. I have always worked and paid my bills but I lost the job that my bills were based on and the employment that I found was much less income that I was used to. I tried, but I couldn't keep up with the bills and was just drowning trying to keep it going. After contacting Freedom Financial they worked very hard to create a plan that I could live with. They took control and guided me through the process every step. I would recommend them to anyone that finds themselves in financial stress.

Credit card payoff is a great feeling and was easy with Freedom Debt Relief. Would do it again if needed the help. It was great and easy to work with the people. They helped with any questions I had and helped in any way they could. When I called it was just great.

They did what they said. They got my debt way down. I paid my payments and now I am out of debt. It took a short time to get in debt and a little longer to get out of it but worth it. You won't regret the program. It gives you a huge load off your back. And my credit is at a fair rating now after the program and climbing.

The service and efficiency I experienced as a client in this program was superb. The FDR staff was easy to work with and helped me meet my obligations during the program duration. You guys tell people that they would get a referral bonus if they get someone else to sign up! But you don't keep your promises so I will tell everyone to stay away from you liars! Then they try and get you a loan to consolidate the rest at a higher interest rate. You'll pay back double!

I have gone through the application process, but I am still waiting to resolve debt. So far I can state that this part of the process is really good. I do not have any resolution yet, but the enrollment process is great.

Our experience with Freedom Debt Relief: The representatives answered any questions we had in a professional and friendly manner. We liked the fact that Freedom Debt Relief did the negotiating with the credit card companies, and we were very pleased with the settlement amounts. When we signed up with them we didn't quite comprehend about the different fees; service fees, interest, etc- that would be included in on the monthly payments to them (Freedom Debt Relief), but that was our ignorance. Also at the time we signed up we didn't realize that the debt that was forgiven by the credit card companies would be considered as income at tax time, but there again it was our ignorance and it would be considered income, no matter if we or Freedom Debt Relief negotiated with the credit card companies. We were happy with our experience with Freedom Debt Relief, grateful for all the assistance, and we have told others about this program.

Excellent services committed by this company, the representatives were ready to help. They were ready and willing to explain any misunderstanding in services or date of exit. Again excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed the people that worked with me. The team was fantastic. The job was done in a short amount of time. I will definitely recommend these services.

We were told the program would be completed April 2017. We got an e-mail that we had completed the program and would receive a graduation packet, so we assumed we were complete like we were told. In July 2017 you drafted out another payment and would have drafted more if we had not stopped payment.

My experience with Freedom Financial has always been positive. Service has been excellent, no problems, able to answer most questions at any time. Representatives has been easily reached and about to answer any question I may have about my account without being re-directed thru several other agents. Debt consolidation has been easy with no problems.

All I did was to trust them to negotiate on my behalf with my creditors and I made arrangements to be paying Freedom Debt Relief until they make an agreement and then I would approve to pay the account until all my accounts were paid. It was very easy because all I did was to pay the agreed amount or more if I feel like it on time until I graduated. They are very efficient as well as helpful.

I'm pleased, that I made a decision to sign up with Freedom Debt Relief in helping with my credit card debt. But, I do not know too much about your procedures in handling my Credit Card Creditors. So far, things seems to be doing okay. After having received only few phone calls from a few creditors. After giving them your name, and they appear to be quite familiar with. Some of them, even offered to help me out by drastically reduce my monthly payments with them. And, some of them are Hard Nose trying to Bug Me by calling & annoying me daily. I entered this process thinking I would end up really debt free but now I am in more debt than I started with in a different and more stressful way than I started in. Being in my seventy and with a lot of health problems I wanted to pay off my 10 credit cards balances before I pass away. It's true that the cards were taken care of but I'm left with still paying consolidated-Plus the same payments and now have to find the money to pay the IRS taxes on what the cards were left after the cards were settled.

We ended up owing as much as we did in the first place. Then when I called to get the payoff and sent them a check with an overpayment in it they took Over $800 out of it saying I owed them more than they quoted that I owed on the phone. Poor customer relations I would say. I will never do business with this company again. I rate them at the bottom.

I already feel a sense of relief and reassurance and I can't wait to be debt free! The customer service has been excellent and everything is explained fully. All my concerns and doubts were addressed with care and reassurance. I feel like I am in great hands.

Working with Freedom Debt Relief was straightforward and efficient. They were able to contact my main creditors and work out a compromise that has allowed us to still pay back a reasonable amount on each loan but also give us the needed flexibility to still live day-to-day and take care of other issues. Situations happen and its nice to know that there is an option available.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me in the sense that they are connected to their sister service that was better suited for my particular situation--Consolidation Plus. I enrolled in the program, back in the fall of 2012, because monthly payments on old-accumulated debt were no longer sustainable. I studied my options, which weren't many, and concluded that FDR (in paper) offered us the best alternative to debt liquidation through bankruptcy. Through the years, as the accounts were being settled, I received superb account management and communication through FDR's support personnel. My trust and confidence in the program grew as rapidly as my total debt went down. There is much more I can share but the bottom line for me is -- they were true to their word!!! At first I was very excited about consolidating my debt but as the months went by and my creditors continued to call and demand payment. I got extremely upset. It took almost a year till everything was completed AND this whole process RUINED my credit. I understand that Freedom was trying to help me out of a bad situation but it only made matters worse. If I am not mistaken, the bad rating on my credit score will not be removed for 7 years.

Help me get my life back on track and prepare for retirement. Working Two Jobs approx. 60 hrs a week and not getting out of debt. But with your program I was able to get out in 4 years. I am finally able to start slowing down!

Venetia ** was great throughout the loan process. I'm not good at the computer and she was very good at explaining how to proceed with the use of the computer. Also had to take pictures with my phone which I had never done before and she walked to through the process. I called her my times and she was always great a employee for your company.

I'm going to be fair as possible. The service provided by FDR was adequate and customer service accessibility was fine. I just feel that with approx. 12 months left until program end, being offered what seemed like a better offer that basically extended my payments, of course the amount was lowered, but still extended payments for another year. If FDR's genuine concerns were to help clients pay off all their debt, I don't think getting their clients into another debt is good practice. I guess FDR is no different from other financial institutions. Make as much profit from a "customer" as possible. Not in their best interest to let them go. "Keep them on a leash and continue milking them for as long as you can," kind of mentality.

Kevin has been AMAZING! He is very understanding and patient, explained everything to me and made it where my mind is at ease knowing soon I will be debt free! I would definitely recommend to someone that is going through the same situation of drowning in DEBT.

I had a good experience with FDR, however, I was offered a loan with a sister company, Consolidated Plus, which seemed a good idea. Ended up being a bad idea now, since the loan for what they negotiated for me is 24% interest. They actually put me right back where I started. My own fault, but warning others to not take the loan offered.

Just as company name I was over 75k in debt. They worked with me and we together designed and approved a program to assist me. I have been out of the program for over a year. Even though I have some neg items on my credit I am now seeing 740 plus credit scores on all 3 reporting agencies. They help me and can assist you. I was mostly happy with the way the debt negotiating was handled. The first part was slow. Then once a loan agreement was established it went faster. It would have been nice to have this explained up front. The loan has not been handled as it was agreed to. The interest rate was supposed to be decrease after 6 months but it has not been done yet 10 months later. And I can't get anyone to talk to me about it. My emails have been ignored.

Very helpful in settling my debts. Every time I had to speak with someone the response was prompt and whoever I talked to was very kind and understanding. I had a couple of stumbles but they were rectified quickly and the ones who did it were professional and again very helpful.

Freedom Debt Relief was a very helpful program for us. We had nine credit card accounts amounting to nearly $75,000. When we turned these over to FDR, it was very scary at the outset. I enrolled in their program with 43,000+ in credit card debt, I was paying 2100.00 per month to just pay the minimum interest on these cards (8). And that meant no principal just interest. It was a losing battle. It was either bankruptcy or Freedom. I did not want to lose all my hard work of keeping my credit rating somewhat intact. I contacted Freedom Debt Relief and we set up a program. I would pay 750.00 per month and they would do the rest. We figured 42 months but with their great deals with my creditors all my cards were paid off in about 35 months. I was now debt free. No more calls, nothing.

Four years ago, I was $30,000 in debt. At first I was very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief. Customer service is awesome! But in the end I still owe nearly $30,000, at 22% interest. When offers started coming in I was told in order to accept them I would need to pay them in full. Of course the only way I could afford that was to take out a loan. They had a sister company that could help. Well I got everything paid off but now instead of it taking 3 years to pay everything off it will take 5. I do owe less but I will end up paying more than I owed before. And my credit is still ruined.

Was never told when I first signed up I would be responsible for the taxes on my accounts. Was hit with 1099c for all my accounts. Didn't save too much money. Only people who gained was Freedom Debt Relief. If I knew I would never signed up for this program, no different on my credit score if I was in program or not.

Freedom Debt Relief worked quickly and efficiently dealing with my creditors. They have kept me informed as each creditor agreed to a pay-off amount. My credit report has improved as each creditor reported a paid-off debt. Freedom Debt Relief has done everything they told me that they would do for me.

My overall experience was very good. Everyone was very helpful, the payment amount was good and I did get all my credit cards gone. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I didn't know that it would hurt my credit score as much as it did.

At time I was given false information, where I advised the rep that I sign up with that I had a claim that you just settled in court and he told me to stop paying and your company would handle it. I then started having my wages garnished and your company told me since it was settled in court there was nothing they could do. I was also told I could ask about the offers that were made and get your company's opinion on if it was a good offers or not. I was always told they didn't know and just to sign with what settlement they had or they might be able to settle at all. Overall I didn't like that I had re-explain everything every time I called and go different answers each time. When all my claims were settled your company still took money out of my acct and it took nearly a month to get it back. I'm glad you did help me settle my debts but not sure if I would use it in the future.

After about a year of trying to work payments out on my own and basically suffocating in what felt like unending debt, I decided to try Freedom Debt Relief. Bottom line - I should have tried them sooner. FDR associates were always friendly, never condescending, or judgmental sounding. They took the time to explain each payoff and also helped me set up a bi monthly payment plan which was more accommodating with my paycheck schedule. They were always available and easy to get a hold of if I had any questions.

Debts will get resolved fairly quick. Bill collectors were quiet. But be aware that after creditors settle your debts... They report the amounts they forgave you as income to the Internal Revenue Service. Freedom Debt Relief will let you know but only through email. So if your inbox is too full or it goes into spam... You get a nasty surprise from Uncle Sam!! Transfer your debt from your creditors to the Internal Revenue Service!!

The gentleman that is working me is Adam ** and I cannot even begin to find the words to tell you how kind and helpful he has been. I have spoken to a couple of others and received the same 5 star treatment from them also. I am sorry I don't know their names. I have received nothing but A plus from all.

Asked for paper statements. Call 3 times to get statements. Got one every couple months. Not online all time. Waited 2 months to get one just to pay off balance. Other than that very happy with your service. Thank you for your help. In a time of need you helped.

Freedom Financial helped negotiate a settlement with all 11 credit card companies that I had which were paid down in less than 2yrs. They were fast in negotiating a reasonable settlement. I'm currently trying to get my credit score back to an above normal range. It’s moving up every day. The people at Freedom Financial were great and very helpful!

I was not happy with how my credit was ruined. I didn't understand FDR was not going to pay bills, so I ended up getting an extremely low credit score, and judgments against me. Anyone can look up my name in the court system and see civil action was taken against me. I understand I overspent. I understand I was in trouble, however, I was making payments on time, and had excellent credit. I asked to keep an account that only had $800 on it. I was told no, it HAD to be included. I had that card for 20 years. That card would have gone a long way into having a better credit score today. It was a diamond card that was one of the best credit cards to have.

They helped me out with my debt issues for sure. The set up process and introduction to what was to come was stellar. But during the process there were a few times when I had to deal with "customer service" and the help was NOT stellar. That would be my only constructive feedback I can offer.

Freedom Debt Relief was a great help for me to be on my way to be debt-free. They were by my side the whole time. They were very helpful telling me what was going to happen, what we were going to do, what not to do. It's a scary journey and they were there for me and I appreciate that.

Had a $12k debt and it was reduced to half. Working with FDR was easy and payments and time frame was agreed. Making payments was easy. My CC rating is 770 on Credit Karma today. I did try to negotiate with the bank but they wouldn't budge on original amount.

Freedom Debt Relief did mostly what they said what I hey would do. However some aspects of the initial "sale" were very deceiving. First: they were not clear that most cc companies will not settle until there is enough money in the account to satisfy their settlement. Potentially, this can drag out the process for years. Second: to address the first problem, they offer a high-interest loan from their sister company. Third: if you own a home then you will be forced to pay income tax on the reduced amount of debt "debt forgiveness". This was totally misrepresented up front. Between their fees, high-interest loan, and taxes on forgiven debt, the actual savings were minimal and certainly not worth the devastation to my credit rating.

I was very nervous about making the decision to use a debt relief program. Never participated but Ericka was awesome. She went over different options and helped pick the best one for me. I feel I made the right choice by using Freedom and I feel a Heavy weight lifted off my shoulders.

I should have filed for bankruptcy instead. I would have my credit score back into the 700's and would not owe as much as I did before Freedom. I didn't save anything after the loan and paying taxes on my savings! Thanks for nothing!

I had credit debt of about $40,000 when I went to FDR for help. They stated most of my debts could be reduced by 50 to 75 percent. I paid FDR $715.00 monthly. When balance was enough, the negotiated payment was made by FDR. Consolidated made me a loan to pay all accounts at once. I took their offer. So, now I owe $50,000 and must pay $814.00 monthly. I am retired, fixed income, begged them to lower my payment as I am in financial hardship. Cons. answer = NO!

Paid 9000.00 and when changed to ConsolPlus none of payments I made were transferred over 0r even got back anything back. I understand fees but the amount was not right. So it was not very good for me. That is why it was a bad experience.

Good but could be better. This process is not painless, about 18 months with a terrible credit rating, I did not start with bad credit. Just balances that were too large. My recent rating is about 740. Also, we were told that you only charge simple interest not compound, I don't know yet if that is true. Your web site is not easy to access as you have too many names or branches of your company. But if we can get through this without any painful surprises, it will be good.

I thought I could pay down my credit over time. One bad situation and it kept me from being able to and things were out of control. I was very afraid. The entire process was straightforward and I felt secure in regards to confidentiality. I am grateful for the thousands of dollars I saved by using Freedom Debt Relief. My one complaint is the last account took over a year to negotiate.

I went in with 4 accounts in need of remediation. From the onset there were terrible breakdowns in communication and annoyances - like being told one thing by one rep and something else from another. Submitted documents were never received and I was not told so until valuable time had passed. Constant calls from reps - completely unaware of my pre-existing concerns issues only made it more aggravating. First account was settled with a savings in my favor, so regrettably, I stayed with the program. The next account resulted in a deal wherein the agents at Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) agreed to a set of terms I would not have accepted, resulting in me being tied down to a full repayment over a ridiculously extended period of time. Attempts to negotiate for a quicker payoff were rebuffed and I was constantly on the phone with the collection agency and their lawyers and the people at FDR.

Honestly, I honestly wish I had stayed with Freedom to get this over and not gone through Consolidated. My initial experience was good. They negotiated to have a great deal of my debt reduced but their suggestion to NOT pay my bills during the time of the negotiation was counter productive, ruined my credit and was very bad advice. After I enrolled in the program I found another program that I recommended to my sister and they did a much better job with one flat fee. Then they recommended the consolidation debt to pay off my balance due, but the interest rate was 22.99%, and this was in addition the fees originally charged.

Savings of thousands of dollars of debt. Staff was very helpful and expedient. Administration of our account was handled very professionally. Extremely polite. Would recommend to a friend. Easy to use format and resources. Enrollment was straight forward and very informative.

My experience with FDR has truly been a blessing. At the age of 61 I retired from my job. I have to up front say that your company did exactly what you promised to do for me. You offered to negotiate with my creditors to reduce the debt I owed. From $30,000 to just below $14,000 is what I got. Your company effectively brokered the funds and provided each company with the payoff negotiated. What NO ONE in the entire process told me was that the amount of debt reduction negotiated by Freedom with each of the creditors is considered income by the IRS. Each of the lenders reported the reduction of debt to the IRS. And the IRS just sent me my adjusted income tax return for the year with - guess what - an additional $16,000 in income for the year - payable immediately. Freedom - if you knew this, you should have told me this before we began the journey. If you didn't know this - you don't know your job.

While our experience is still in early stages, so far all representatives have been totally upfront in explaining the processes and answering any questions I have or concerns that come up. I am looking forward to resolving our debt crisis with the help of FDR professionals.

The last three accounts were on hold for over a year without resolve. Other than that things went well. Lack of updating, had to inquire several times the about progress on accounts. There was no one on one feedback. If I did not inquire it may have sat another year.

Never a problem & always great to work with - All the team members were great. Customer service was always willing to help when it was needed. Your personal team parties are always helpful. Payments are low. The only thing I did not like is that they put in the program & then change you to a loan to get your debts paid off faster, and they paid off a different debt from my original entry into the program.

I'm sorry but I would not recommend the program to anyone. I was misled by your team of employees. I ended up being in debt much longer than I was told and my credit was destroyed. I hope you will be more upfront with you future clients so they know it may take years for you to settle some of the debt. They informed me once I stopped paying they would be in a position to start settling and that was not the case. Majority of my credit cards were not settled for years. I had to leave the program and do the consolidated credit instead.

I was very satisfied with the FDR services which has already enabled me to reduce my debt by 50%. However, I am not very satisfied with my ConsulPlus services. Mailed a package to them April regarding hardship payment reduction which alleged they never got. Then faxed the information in July via phone calls. Hear they are backlogged per Lachelle. Still waiting for confirmation that the faxed 20 pages were received as of 08/09/17. Feel I am being ignored.

While it is tempting to accept a payoff settlement, beware of the service fees and interest charges. My debt was settled with my creditors for what appeared to be a very reasonable amount. But by the time Consolidation Plus added their fees and the interest rate, the new total I owed them, was not so attractive as what they had settle for.

Because creditors were not paid timely to Captial One I had a judgment placed against me which has done terrible damage to my credit. I was not notified that more money was needed to pay this creditor and therefore they took me to small claims court. I was and still am very upset.

I was able to get my debt reduced and my payments down to manageable amounts each month without all of it going to interest. They will make an offer and not have the funds to cover it because someone else has already promised the funds available to someone else.
