Program is great. You will be worry free. I didn't have to do anything once they received all of my information. They negotiated and settled all my debts in some cases less than half of what was owed. I recommended my daughter to join program and she is doing well. My credit score has increased in short time.

Would have been much happier if I had not had to negotiate with the banks myself. I was given good advice from your people but had to make 6 out of 7 agreements on my own, and my experience in those areas was extremely limited. I am really not liking all the phone calls this is generating. I have gone to the websites and changed the mailing address and phone number to Freedom Debt Relief, however I have continued to get phone calls, which is very stressful. I have asked that they cease & desist.

Excellence customer service and knowledge about the debt resolution process. This allowed me to relax and focus on my regular responsibilities for work and personal life. This was a huge benefit for me, as debt had begun to stress these aspects of my life.

Freedom did an OK job when it came to negotiating settlements on your behalf. In my experience, some of my creditors would not negotiate with Freedom Financial and would only negotiate with me directly. That was not a problem. I negotiated with those creditors on my own. The problem is that Freedom Financial gets paid, according to my contract, based on the settlements that they negotiate for you. Once all of my accounts had been settled I quickly noticed that they also charged me for the accounts that I had to negotiate on my own behalf.

I was so distraught with our financial situation and just felt caught, no way to dig out of debt. Freedom Debt Relief was a joy to work with -- everyone was so professional and understanding. Within a year I felt free from my crushing debt and able to visualize a future without debt. It has changed my life. Thank you.

BEST thing we've ever done and don't know why I waited so long. Customer service was so helpful and always patient. Once we turned over all of our credit cards bills to them they took care of everything and our payoffs were exactly when they said they would be.

How can you ask to be accurate and fair when your organization has completely failed in the commitment made to me. I received an email CONGRATULATION!! I had paid off my first loan on July 31, 2016. Three months later I am receiving calls regarding the bill not being paid off. The creditor told me they did not receive the money. I placed numerous calls and was being told the creditor was misleading me and they always do things like that. After being transferred from one person to another I was told the funds went to a different account but the creditor had the money. Someone was going to get back to me. This went on for several months without a resolution.

UPDATED 9/20/2022: I began this program in 2017. I was overwhelmed with credit card debt and minimum payments were breaking me. When I came across an ad for Freedom Debt Relief, it gave me a little bit of hope. The enrollment process was easy, and with added features like insurance protection in case one of your creditors decides to sue, made it possible for me to settle all my credit card debts. I did get sued by one of my creditors, and because I had the insurance, FDR was able to support me through that scary process and help with the court proceedings.

Without Freedom Debt Relief, my husband and I probably would have sold our cars or worst our house to pay off our debts. But FDR came to our rescue and help us pay all our debts in the shortest time possible! They were able to cut our debts in half and pay them all off according to how much we can pay monthly. Thank you FDR!

This program was perfect for me at the time and I have no regrets. Everything they promised was followed through and the process was fairly easy. I would recommend this program to someone trying to catch up and/or get out of a bad situation.

Agency failed to consolidate with our list of creditors. Will not answer our phone calls, but continues to withdraw payment from our account. Our creditors have not received payment and they're not even notified that I endorsed to them. I received all these complaints from the creditors by phone and by certified mail so I tried to contact these agency Freedom Debt Relief many times, they never responded me.

The process to enroll was super easy! The first conversation I had with Jeffery, was very helpful, he gave me helpful tips and different options. After coming to a decision, he explained the process and payments in detail which gave me peace of mind.

Freedom Debt Relief outlined what they could do for me to help me get rid of my debt. They took the amount of my debt and came up with a plan to have it paid off by a certain date. When I had 4 out of 6 debtors paid off, they offered to have their bank partner see if I qualified for a loan to pay off the other two. Which I did. This streamlined the process for paying off the last two debtors. My only complaint was the interest rate was much higher than I thought it needed to be especially since I was still paying the same amount I had been paying for two years. Since I had a good track record with payments, I thought the interest rate should have been lower. They did offer to consider lowering it after I had paid for six months. I have since paid the loan off.

Shaun ** has a wide knowledge in understanding the need and email approach of helping out with the quotes was very flexible and impressive. Option to save the debt and reduce the monthly rate of interest was better. Freedom Debt Relief adds more value, good to make a deal. Thanks Shaun.

FDR allowed me to reconcile outstanding medical and personal debt, with relatively little effort. They did it all, including fielding ALL the telephone calls, emails and other incessant financial harassment. They negotiated all my accounts, achieved resolution, and stoked the fire of getting my credit rating back up where it should be. THANK YOU FDR!

Accomplished promised results. I am now debt free and able to retire if I so choose which I do not since I no longer am forced to work. All those long grueling hrs and take all the spirit breaking call. I was able to place my dangerous disabled son in a group home where someone is there to care for him all day, I am free!!

We joined this program to help us get out of the credit card debt we had accrued. We are very pleased with the results and without Freedom Financial we wouldn't be free of the debt like we are now. The customer service was great and we never had an issue with any of the creditors.

Freedom Debt Relief did more than I thought was possible, my debt was lowered beyond my expectations and after one year they were able to secure a consolidation loan for me. I can tell you this program is not a cake walk. You must make sacrifices and change your lifestyle but it is well worth it, we have learned to live within our means.

My wife and I enrolled in this plan 3 years ago. The payments were steep, but I am glad that we have paid off this debt. I will say that if you are going to try these program, you need to look at your finances very carefully. You should be 100% sure of what you can pay each month, due to unforeseen circumstances I left a better paying job and struggled to make the payments. I can highly recommend this method of debt reduction and the Freedom program. They were excellent and always there to guide me what ever came up. However when I tried to pay off the final balance about 7 months early the program fell apart. It took 3 to 4 months to make that early payoff happen, I should have just let it run its course. To this day I don't understand why the process of payoff took so long. Yes, I would use them again if needed.

This has been great experience helping me with my financial situation. Great company to work with. Great to resolve my debt problems highs. Would recommend to anyone with debt not getting anywhere paying monthly. This program can help you get out debt faster than making monthly payments to your credit cards.

I was not clearly informed that you would not start talking to my creditors until you had enough of my money. I did ask that question and Freedom Debt Relief told me that they would talk to creditors within 3 months, did not happen. They also paid off some bill that was not mine and now have that creditor sending letters and listing it on my credit report. So you really did not help me at all. I could go on and on with the lies and problems I had with Freedom Debt Relief, but I will stop with this statement I would never recommend them to anyone ever.

Poor communication throughout process. Hard to get information. Yes we did save money and pay our debt off, but they made a nice profit also. I am a better consumer now from this experience. I will read the fine print more carefully and get a second opinion before agreeing to any financial agreement again.

The program was not explained well to me from the very beginning, and I felt that no one ever really cared about the stress I was going through with the harassing phone calls. I felt I had to call weekly to keep up with what a was going on. One of my accounts actually went to court and when calling the litigation service that I was paying for, I could not get them to return my call. Thank goodness I had enough money in my account to take care of this situation. I also lost the right to do business EVER with another account and had several other accounts frozen because of my involvement with Freedom. I cannot and will not give them a satisfactory rating and wish I had never gotten involved. I would think twice about this company even though they are recommended by the Better Business Institute.

To be fair - Overall experience to get into the Freedom was fast and convenient. Everyone was extra nice and helpful, and getting to settlements for the most part was easy - (although now I know the credit companies actually automatically offer settlements if you stop paying your bill.) They also "forget" to emphasize that the settlement amount count towards your taxes at the end of the year. If the experience ended there, I would rate it 4 stars (not five because of the tax issue).

The person I talked to on the phone was very kind and helpful. I am happy that they can help resolve my problems. I hope other people will contact Freedom Debt Relief. They are helping me not to file bankruptcy. I have got myself into a lot of Debt by helping a loved one.

They're not all that they claim to be. They presented a nice pitch. In the end it cost me just as much as I originally owed. I didn't do as much homework as I should have. There are better much options out there. Just be sure to research it completely.

I was never advised that the debt forgiveness would become part of my income. Nor was I advised on how to submit the Form 982 for debt forgiveness due to insolvency. Your company made a lot of money off settling my debts and the fallout I received was lousy. Other issues too with incredibly poor customer service and account management. Especially my loan - I had to escalate my grievances with the BBB and finally resolution by Mike **, Vice President FFAM Loan Operations.

Freedom Debt Relief dashboard is not informative/understandable or in contact with all creditors at once. Return of calls/emails are not responsive. Creditors are continuous with their contact even after follow up info was provided. Only after being slapped with a lawsuit, did I get any attention. Would Not Recommend... Ever.

Yes they help you pay off your credit cards but you end up paying them an interest rate almost as high as credit card interest rates. I think I could have paid the cards off almost as fast without using them. But what is done is done. No use of crying over spilt milk.

Upon reading and hearing how Freedom had helped others get out of debt I decided to enroll in the program. Everyone I spoke to at Freedom was so helpful. After joining the program I am totally debt free today. I thank Freedom for being there when I needed them most.

Freedom Debt Relief worked with me to settle and pay off several accounts. All the agents, advisors, and the people who answered the telephones were always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I really appreciate their help getting these accounts taken care of.

This program didn't help my short term financial situation at all. Ruined credit score, which may have affected other things such as insurance premiums, on house and auto. Only helped long term situation slightly as it only reduced payoffs a little since it sent everything up to the limits before offer to consolidate. Wish I hadn't done it. Will never consider it again.

First of all, I didn’t “graduate” from your program, I terminated the program after realizing years of lies and deceitful practices on the part of FDR. I finally looked a little closer at your game where I basically ended up paying close to the full amount of my debt accounts, or more in some cases, in FDR fees. For example, a particular debt where my ‘debt reduction’ was $295, however I paid in excess of $446 to FDR in fees which totally offset the reduction. Other account examples are similar to this case where the reduction is around the same amount as the FDR fees – I might as well have just paid directly to the creditor.

Counselor and Customer Service Rep are all very courteous and knowledgeable. The Counselor had great patience and explained the processes in the simplest terms for me. All documentation was provided and counselor walked me through the documents for signature and submission.

This company and its affiliates were absolutely the most excellent. They are honest and upfront and are with you every step of the way. A friend of mine had used them also and totally recommended them. I am barely a year out of the program and my credit scores are already in the high 600 to 700s. God bless these companies who are there to help people like me who got a little over my head. And I didn't have to file bankruptcy???

By doing this my credit rating tanked. Also when you were able to negotiate my debt down, you put me into a credit card repayment of over 22% which doesn't help me at all. If I would have known what I do now I would have not used your services.

It's not all that it seems. At the end they get you a loan to pay off the remainder of what you owe the credit card banks. The interest is outrageous - like 25 percent. Plus FDR's fee is large and rolled into that loan too. You get 1099's too and you might have to pay income taxes on your discharged debt as the IRS feels it is income. So in the end - you need to ask yourself... would Bankruptcy be better? In my opinion FDR did not meet my expectations.

I was very pleased with the whole process. Every rep I spoke with was kind, gracious and pleasant to work with. I have already made my first payment and am looking forward to getting out of debt. It will be such a relief to be done.

I came to Freedom Debt when I felt like I was out of options for how to keep up with my monthly payments. Freedom Debt did a really great job with almost all of the accounts, however, there was a switch in my accountant management before the final account was resolved and she did not provide the same level of customer service. Without prompting from me, she was removed from my account and replaced with someone who managed to resolve the final account within a short period of time, something she had been taking months to do. Other than that one blip, I found the customer service to be excellent.

Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful. They did keep the creditors from calling my home for payment. They negotiated with the creditors for the best deal to help us. The only downside is it took longer than we thought it would from our initial conversations.

The credit counselor was very patient answering my questions. His knowledge of the program helped me work through my anxiety. He did not rush me or pressure me into the program. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through the call so he could move on to the next called. He made the experience easier. Love the dashboard, by the way. I think it isn't wise for me to say too much! Maybe you can help me to understand why I'm so very deep in debt now When I thought I wasn't going to be. I thought it was great until we went ahead with your loan company which is charging us 22% interest. This is a slap in my face as with the negotiating to reduce the credit cards to a final amount. You also made over $4000 in processing settlement. So are we saving with Freedom Financial? No. Big mistake.

Husband and I paid off account early. Freedom Debt Relief did not fix problems with our credit ratings as promised. We're told since we paid off early that they could no longer help us. Did not fulfill their obligation when we went with this group.

Extremely helpful in getting rid of the high Credit Card debt. It has been about 2 years since we finished the program. WE don't use any of the old credit cards. We have 1 (one) card & it is a debit/credit card. If the money is not in the account we don't buy the item.

I was not sure of the program, talking to Tierrell, felt comfortable in my decision to enroll. Scary about the coming calls from the creditors, going to do the address and phone changes, legal action is my concern. I am being assure that Freedom Debt Relief has my back.

I am happy that I am no longer getting calls at all hours from creditors. Freedom Debt Relief settled our credit card debt and even reduced amount owed to roughly halve, which should be paid off in about 48 months. They quickly resolved my debt and left me able to relax and move forward.

I was satisfied with the process. It allowed me to gain control of my finances again and I was able to pay this off early. The one opportunity I see is that I think it should be mandatory to have a monthly phone call with someone from your company to answer questions and to make sure the enrollee is staying on track.

I never had any problem with my debt reduction that I didn't cause for myself. I did not always read the fine print like I should have. I am grateful for the opportunity to take care of an issue I lost complete control with. My only request would be some idea how to improve my credit score after all is said and done. We were told you would provide us with letters to send to creditors after we finished the program to clean up our credit which after we signed your contract we were told you do not provide. We weren't informed that our accounts would continue to accrue interest and penalties until it was completely resolved and then we were offered a loan with a bank at an interest rate of 28 percent or told we could stay with your program but our credit accounts would continue to accrue interests and penalties. So we felt we didn't have a choice in fact were told by a representative that we didn't have much choice. Yes you did finally resolve my debt which I will be paying on for the next several years. That is going to be 2 years longer than we were told when we signed the contract. I would think long and hard before doing this again.

FDR was so helpful. I'm so glad I went with them to reconcile my debt. The whole process was easily done for you all with amazing customer service. They were there to answer all my questions and very friendly. I recommend them to anyone in my similar situation.

So far I have no complaints. I just wish I could see faster results and the nasty phone calls would stop. It seems as if the company's find out that you have signed up for this program. They get nastier each day.

We used this to help with our credit cards. They took our cards and slowly settled our debt to a high interest loan. A result of not paying the cards on time and closing them out. Therefore our credit rating was bad. This giving the loan company which was a sister company the reason for high interest on the loan.

Only have received one settlement since we have started. Right now I do not where we are. They said the first settlement is going through a installment plan now to pay off the first one they settled. The money they take each month I would have hope they could have settled and paid off the smaller amounts first.

I found FDR to be extremely helpful and easy to reach whenever I had questions. They helped me to resolve all of my issues to my satisfaction. Over the course of the past 2 years I got a 2nd job in order to pay FDR & the consolidation plus loan. I initially was giving FDR $170, twice a month ($340 total). The CP loan term was 5 years but due to the 2nd job I was able to give them much more! I gave them $425 every 2 weeks for 2 1/2 years & successfully paid the loan off early! My credit score is now back in the lower 700's & while I've managed to acquire some credit card debt since, it's only $1,500 & I plan on keeping it that way! I think that your company is a sham. I was told that you would negotiate a lower balance for all of my accounts and lower payments. What I got was a loan with a 22% rate and the interest I'll pay them is more than if I had done it on my own. Of course my credit cards were all in default and you had me over a barrel so I had to take the loan or file bankruptcy. Oh yeah, you forgot to tell me that I would have to pay tax on the debt that was forgiven. Your company sucks and I would never recommend you to even my worst enemy. Thieves!

I had sent a final payment of $13,516.26 on 7/5/17 and you now tell me I have Graduated from the Program, but yet you still show a balance of $26.05. After charging 22.90% interest on this loan, I find it extremely difficult to accept the fact that you would have the nerve to attach a balance of this amount on a loan that had never been late in payments and make in good faith on my part, but apparently not on your part. I will do my utmost to never recommend this company to anyone.

Beginning process was a little stressful and time-consuming. Once it got into making payments things went smoothly and quick. Only complaint I have is that with the extra payments I was making they didn't apply all of that toward the final balance and close it out. I had to make a call to get that done and have the additional funds returned to me.

I enrolled in this program in April of 2013, I was supposed to be done by Feb 2017. In Feb, I still had 4 unresolved accounts and nothing had been done in a year. Every time I called I got a different answer about what was going on. I asked for a call from a supervisor and never got one. I have 1 account still open and my account says it'll be resolved by September, but I doubt it.

I am in a medical hardship which ended up being caused by the Social Security Disability Income Agency who made a huge clerical error that took my veteran disabled husbands benefits away, we eventually got them back with the help of our Congressman Charles Dent. The worst mistake I ever made. I paid more than what I started with. Owed around 12-15k. They have you stop paying cards for a year. Running them up to 20+k after a year of settlements. Then give you a loan after paying for a year with interest that by payment total over 24k. The settlements should have been for my original debt not all late charges and interest you had me add on.
