The online application and the ability to check my account status was very easy and user friendly. I am very pleased with the agreements made with the creditors and how easy it was to set up the auto payments and have the balances satisfied quicker than I thought! It feels great to be debt free!

Freedom Financial Debt Program helped me attain over a 50% reduction in my credit card debts. My program was completed in 4 years time, otherwise I would still have debt for years to come. I appreciated their communication and assistance when I had questions or concerns. I highly recommend their program to anyone seeking to get out from under the cloud of debt.

While the process was fairly smooth, not being advised that the creditors would send me a 1099 to be filed with my taxes, was a shock. Not sure if this is procedure, but should have been explained in the beginning.

Should have stayed with original setup. Would have paid off much sooner at lower cost. They were supposed to lower interest rate at six months and never bothered to contact me. Would not recommend to my friends as would not want to have them feel the way I do.

When I enrolled into A contract with Freedom Debt, I was told that there would be NO Charge to Me. However, that was not the case, I either got sued or got a charge back from every one of My creditors, I was told By Anton ** that if any of this happened to me that You People would take care of it! Freedom Debt is a bad joke on Your Customers!!!

One of my accounts was not closed out correctly and I show I have a balance on my credit report. I have made numerous attempts to have this resolved and no one can help me. I keep getting the pass from person to person.

All counselors I came in contact with were consistently professional, friendly, & Supportive every step of the way through the process. They were willing & eager to share their knowledge. This was a frightening & unsettling situation to be in. At no time in the process did I feel judged, coerced, or rushed.

While in theory it may seem like a good idea to "speed up the process" what it does in actuality is ruin your credit in a matter of months that will take you YEARS to repair AND they charge such exorbitant fees that you are better off doing the payoff yourself. If I had it to do over again, I would have NEVER done it!

I had 8 accounts that I was working on settlements. The last 2 accounts took over a year after my last settlement to be taken care of. I had more than enough money in the saving account to pay off the accounts. But instead you kept withdrawing money to place in my savings each month. Which then in return I was also charged the fees all this time as well. I called and submitted claims to find out why it was taking so long to have these last 2 accounts paid. I kept getting the runaround. This was having to deal with the back and forth with client services.

I was very happy with the professional service provided to me. Everyone acted in a professional manner and courteous. My debt relief was taken care of quickly just as they said would happen. They provide legal services which was very comforting to know just in case the need arises.

Still embarrassed that I got myself into a financial mess. But happy to have made the call to FDR. They were easy to work with regarding any issues that I encountered. I did get notice from the IRS regarding one company that reported a loss and I had to pay off such loss. I did that in two installment payments. I did not see that coming.

I was very happy with assistance with getting by debt paid off. My only fault with this is not being informed of 1099's received and having to claim that money as income. It really caused a problem when it was time to do taxes.

We are done with the program but between the settlements, the fees, and the taxes we owed due to the 'forgiveness' of debt I don't believe we saved very much money at all. Very disappointed in the whole process. They led us to believe we would not be penalized tax wise for the forgiven debt but the amount of taxes we ended up owing was huge.

And there were both good and bad aspects to this program. When they did clear debts it was great but some debts took forever to clear and one debt in particular was never cleared and simply expired and I was never formally exited out of the program.

Although FDR will help you get out of debt by negotiating with the credit card companies to lower your balance, I did not learn until the end of my time with them that YOU CAN DO THAT YOURSELF! FDR charges an outrageous amount in fees, and it's really hard to get them to change or skip a payment if you need that. Their "dashboard" was very late in updating, and only was updated when I called to complain.

I discovered that debt consolidation is a mistake that no one should make. I received a total of four 1099c forms which were filled against me by the companies I supposedly settled with. So, not only was I now paying Freedom Debt Relief, I was also now paying taxes on my supposed income from them. I ended up owing $12000 in taxes.

Freedom Debt helped me when I was at my lowest... literally! I was so ashamed to reach out for help that when I called, after reaching someone's voicemail I hung up. They called me back! She listened & I cried, now I am months away from payoff!

I would say that at first I was like I did not know what to expect. During the progress I had a full team behind me and 2 years later I was debt free and they have showed me the great ways no to get this far deep. I would recommend Freedom Relief Program.

Although they did help in consolidating my debt, their customer service is very slow on answering emails and questions. They are very high on their interest rate and service fees which means you're paying back a lot once all is said and done. Payments are high and sometimes hard to make but now I'm stuck. I should have looked into other options before signing the dotted line.

Process was somewhat ok. I didn't like how I was pushed into Consolidation Plus loan. Adding interest and settlement cost together I almost ended up paying same as without Freedom Debt Relief. One of the settlements was paid with Consolidation Plus Loan despite the fact it was money available on my account to pay it.

Working with Freedom Plus and Consolidation Plus was incredible. Before I started the program I was stressed out, losing sleep and becoming distant from my family due to my crippling debt. Initially, I was nervous about entering into the program but knew that I had to take action and do something about my suffocating financial situation. My debt was reduced by nearly 50% and I now have one monthly payment instead of multiple credit card bills. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Was fairly painless. Had to do some negotiating with a couple of the creditors, but Loren, my coach, helped me thru it. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change anything, except maybe to include some more debt. The monthly payment on the Freedom plus loan is knocking my pay off down very quickly.

I was grateful at first with your assistance, but as I got further into the program I was sorry that I did and not everyone was exactly how the representative explain the program would work. I had to ask multiple times for reports and to this day still has not received them. I moved to another program to pay off my debt and I did pay off that loan off in full early. There were some items included in that loan. They were later charged off by the company and were not paid off by the loan, so I am due a refund for that payment. But of course again I have asked for the payoff loan documents for several months as I was promised they would be out to me within a week and about 1 year or so later I still have not received them.

Called with an issue about a 1099C. Was given a total runaround in how they don't know when or if a creditor will send one out. You do know that the creditors have a full year. But you keep saying you don't know. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was told she was in a meeting and would call me back. Never received a call back.

I turned to Freedom Debt Relief for financial help after realizing I had so much debt after separating with my ex-husband and they were able to help negotiate with the credit card companies and get my payments down and paid off in a very reasonable amount of time. I was able to negotiate with my credit card companies to lower my amount owed. And Freedom paid off my debt. I then made monthly payments to Freedom for 3 years with a butt load of interest. Overall it was a nice way to get rid of my high interest credit card debt. I think the interest was a little much because after all I am trying to get rid of debt.

Yes I would recommend to a friend or family member. They were efficient and quick to get my bills taken care of. I did not have to do any of the calls or foot work. FDR did it all then did all the work to send my final total bills to a consolidation firm to pay all my bills and making it only one small payment monthly.

You pulled a fast one on when Consolidation Plus took over. It turned out that I would have paid more than I would have owed in the first place if I had let it run to full execution. Honesty is the thing I value most. There is no way I will recommend you.

My FDR account was missing 2 credit card accounts. Despite 8 of the e-mails, letters and even the lawyer who I paid for with my FDR account had to get involved. 1 account was finally added when I changed over to their sister program. They told me the 2nd account was written off by the credit card company when in reality it was sold to an aggressive debt collector who came after me. The legal services go away when you transfer your account so I spent months dealing with FDR's error. I thought I researched them well but I made a HUGE mistake using them.

After I paid my debt US Educational continued to draw their $59.00 out of my bank account. I cannot believe they did that after my debt was paid. What a scam. I would never use you again. They should have stopped taking from my account.

I found the FDR very easy to work with on my financial issues. The initial counselor was very understanding and supportive and while I was not able to get a consolidation loan initially, helped me through the process. After a few months I did qualify for consolidation which greatly relieved the stress of dealing with creditors.

I'm not satisfied. I'm paying more money now than when I was with Freedom. Should have stayed where I was. The loan was more than it was quoted for. I would have done better just paying my credit myself like I was. My credit is bad. It was good before I got into both programs. I would never do this again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to do this.

My experience was great because they helped me to get my creditors off my back. The people at customer service were very kind but always were my needs met. I had put money to pay off and my needs were not met. This was just a little annoying. But overall they were fine.

I was not able to delete an account even though FDR was not able to include it with my debt consolidation. It was a LARGE amount and it cost me a lot, even though nothing could be done with it. It is also now costing me on my taxes as well!!! They save you money in the beginning, but you still pay for it in the end! Might as well try and pay it off yourself.

Never felt like they looked out for my best interest. Didn't explain how the reduced amount was going to eaten up by the commission so ended up paying about the same amount in debt and ruined my credit for years to come. I suggest you work directly with your creditors and skip working Freedom Debt Relief.

I was financially ignorant as a result became extremely in debt. It was a frustrating experience. I felt that there was no way out of my debt. Until I called Freedom; they helped me step by step with my debt. Thank you Freedom!

I had to hound customer service when enough money was in my account to start the negotiation process. I was transferred to three different folks to work my account - outside of customer service. I had to personally negotiate several of the deals myself because the creditor wouldn't work with Freedom Financial. I was then towards the end offered a personal loan based on my stellar record with Freedom Financial and that was nightmarish from the fact that after the entire process was done, it seemed like I paid more than what I owed and I couldn't reconcile that my balance wasn't applied to the loan and then the interest calculated based on what was left to pay. Overall if you're considering doing this - do it only because it's the last resort. Try negotiating with creditors yourself and take out a personal loan at a lower interest.

Need to explain what is being done in plain English. Had a hard time determining what you had completed and how much you negotiated down. I owed about $23,000 and I am still, over one year later, paying back most of what I owed. I still have over 36 months to go. Thought I would be farther along than I am by now.

I'm happy to have the debts settled, but wish I had known the negotiations would take so long. FDR also somehow wrapped an account into the program that I didn't authorize them to change (a business account) and that caused big problems.

This was such an easy program and everyone I came in contact with were very helpful and pleasant. They kept in contact and informed me when each account was almost finished. They answered all my questions without hesitation or putting me on hold. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who needs help.

I found that the fees were higher than expected -- misled there, was hounded by creditors and then when my credit was completely and utterly destroyed they offered to make all the bad go away if only I would enroll in a loan from the other side of their business Consolidation +. My choice but...

I had some questions about not receiving emails regarding my monthly balance, but those were resolved when I talked to customer service last week. I still struggle at times with my finances, since my husband has Alzheimer's, money is tight. Awesome results and the staff was very cooperative when needing to make changes. My only negative comment would be at the end of the process, negotiations seemed to fall off and take longer. I had to consistently push to get them done.

I was really in a bind when I called FDR. I had basically used up my 401k trying to pay off my debt, and was running out of options. I am happy with my debt being resolved but one of the main and only reason I chose this company is they guaranteed to help me rebuild my credit after my debt was resolved. However this has NOT been the case. I have asked many times for help on this and gotten no answers. It's very disappointing because although my debt is paid off I have horrible credit and not sure what to do to repair it. I thought this was a part of your program I paid for.

I would probably have tried to go this another way in hindsight since now this is on my credit score for 7 Years. Yes it is nice to have all in one bill but now I am paying for it in the long run with 7 years on my credit.

They never disclosed that they were commissioned on the total amount NOT the amount settled for. Also I was not made aware I could settle ANY debt on my own. Also you are not assigned 1 rep, it is whoever answers the phone helps you. Other than those few things it was helpful.

I asked them to help me clear my credit cards, they did that. My credit is on the way to 'excellent' status and it only took a couple of years to fix what could very well have been an endless nightmare of bill collectors. The dings on my credit report are starting to fall off and I couldn't be happier.

Do not like the way they handle the 1099 tax forms after they get a credit card handled for you... I got some in the mail and from them thru email - I wish they would either have the credit card companies send them the email of 1099 or have ALL the companies mail them...

I had tried multiple times to work with my creditors to no avail. I was having to care for my mother who was diagnosed with ALS along with having to help pay her bills. No one would help me out. My only choice was Freedom Debt Relief. My credit suffered in the beginning, but now it is up over 675 and I am in a much better place.

I did not know I would be getting tax forms on the debt that was dismissed, after I had already filed my taxes, and I kept getting them. It was very disheartening, to know I have to file those after I had already filed my taxes. Freedom has not been the easiest to work with.

We are in worse financial condition now than when we signed up with Freedom Debt Relief. We are very close to having to file bankruptcy, which is what we were trying to avoid when we went to Freedom Debt Relief. We are very disappointed in our results.

First of all, I was put at ease when they said that this is not debt consolidation. I owe over $25,000, when I am finished I am paying almost half of this. Best of all I do not have the creditors calling me. I changed my contact info as soon as I signed on. FDR spoke to me in terms I could understand and their approach made sense to me. Sure my credit score is going to take a hit, but it was hit hard due to the fact I had over extended my credit limit and I could not see me being able to pay enough over the next 3-4 years to make an impact to the plus side of my score. I recommend to at least hear them out. I believe it will make sense to you too.

I seem to have this process going okay. One of nine accounts have offered and I accepted but I would like a more detailed list of charges and activity on the bank account associated with FDR. The balances make no sense to me and I haven't found a report this satisfies all charges. Another issue to me is I don't seem to have a go to person that I can communicate with that shows a little more personal knowledge of how my plan is going. I guess it is working. My credit score has plummeted over 200 points in 3 months. I hope it is worth it.

I don't know if this is working, I was charged 34 dollars from my one of the credit cards for not paying. That is my chase credit card, I thought the company is negotiating with this credit cards to lower down my credits. I was charged for 400 dollars plus.

Not happy with this decision. Many of my cards they saved me $100 or less after they take out their fees! I have had to deal with phone calls after phone calls from cc companies even though FDR says they handle the calls. I have turned in that paper so many times. Doesn't help. They have pushed my debt relief date back a year even though we haven't missed a payment. So now we are paying WAY more than when we signed up for. What so they can make more money! Not WORTH IT. :/

Was told when I started the program it would take 44 months. I never missed a payment. In 44 months I paid $22000, plus what I have paid the extra year. When I call, I feel like I'm getting the runaround and it's being dragged out for too long. Some of the associates that I speak with are rude.
