I could contact them late at night, and there was someone there to help. Can't say enough about all the employees that helped me resolve my issues and in a timely manner.

I'm so happy I found FDR. Due to health problems, I was becoming overwhelmed with debt. The program was so easy. Of course, it takes some effort but it was really nothing compared to the relief and satisfaction of knowing that's all behind me. No more phone calls. No more worrying over bills.

I joined Freedom a year and a half ago, I was paying a thousand dollars a month in interest to credit cards. I was getting frustrated because I felt like I will be in debt for the rest of my life. I gave them a call and I felt like a mountain has been lifted off my shoulders. I started paying to Freedom a monthly payment that I was comfortable with. I will be completely out of debt in two years. I recommend Freedom to anyone.

I set a goal to be debt free within 5 years at most and Freedom Debt Relief is assisting me to reach that goal. I don't want to fall back in the prior patterns, the information that has been made available to me will help in working towards getting my finances in order. The total experience was a good one. At times we had to work our way through a few things to get where we needed to be. The one suggestion I would have if somehow when the balance is paid to a creditor you could make an arrangement with them, to get the amount owed on taxes that would be of great help. In our case the notice always came one to three months after taxes were due. This of course caused a amended filing with interest due. I feel this is maybe was done on purpose just to mess with the client.

Was quite a bit in debt, found Freedom on the internet. After checking references, I decided to give them a try. Customer service explained in detail how the plan works. Explained how long it would take to be debt free and in my case it's sooner than expected. Would call during the process just to see if I was alright. Have already recommended to friends who are going similar debt.

Took too long to get things done and took too much money for themselves. Spent way too much time finding someone who actually could help when I had a problem. I would never recommend this program to anyone. They have too many people working on the same account and never seem to know exactly what's going on.

They help me pay in three years one month. I'm free. No one is calling me asking for payment. I learn that you if I don't have money I can't buy anything. I'm thankful for their support and advice. Now I can breathe!

Very good company, Did what they said they would do in the time they said they would do it in. We made every payment on time directly from my checking account. They had a web portal that you could track your progress. I had no issues with this company. I've been burned by another similar company years ago and was very hesitant to try it again. But FDR came through for us.

I consolidated all my credit cards and they worked with my creditors. I have a payment I can now afford. It going on 2 years. I still have 3 yrs left. Everyone was wonderful through the entire experience. They did all of the negotiations for me. The only thing I had to do was provide the information that was asked of me. And it was no time at all that everything was done.

The help was appreciated but not consistent. Even now I do not know where I stand. I have read and reread things many times and I still don't have all the answers. I cannot see, hear or speak clearly and I understand that this would be hard for someone to deal with on the phone but I would like to know that all is over and done with and how I will get the money remaining in my account. I am left with the impression that the company has a big turnover. I know the people I have dealt with mean well and really appreciate that - I would just like to put this behind me.

I was happy with the settlements of my debt, however, I am not happy with the closure of my account after all was complete, which to my knowledge, has still not been finished? One of my accounts was overpaid by $100, I have still not received a refund of that money, nor have I ever receive my packet with my settlement letters. I spoke to several representatives over a 2-3 month period trying to resolve this, with no luck whatsoever, and gave up. I hope nobody else has this issue, and I hope someday I receive my settlement letters and my refund.

Cannot access because I don't know my password. Would like to have some help finding it. It may have slipped through the cracks. When I talked with the lady explaining the loan she was talking too fast for me. Would appreciate your help getting my password.

I really wish I had gone another route to get these cards paid off because of the loan that I am paying back now. The interest rate is over 22% and the payment is so high that I can't hardly buy groceries. Most of the payment is going to interest so it's going to take years to pay this off unless I get a different loan.

This company made it so easy to get me out of debt. It's probably the easiest transaction I have ever done in my life. I have shared with friends and family, hopefully they use this company. Everyone that I dealt with over the phone were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Well just wanted to see some, active change come. Know that it is a process so got to be patient. But do expect to see some soon. Creditors begin send me letters, but I am trusting in you all. Keeping a eye on dashboard review. But I feel good about this.

Most debts were cut to a fraction of what they were originally. Worked everything out. Very satisfied. I would recommend to a friend in debt. After I paid off the debts, I was able to get my credit rating up fairly quickly. I have been able to keep out of debt since.

I would have had to file bankruptcy if it wasn't for Freedom. They did a wonderful job. The only downfall is the interest rate you must pay to pay them back. And how long it takes to do this. I did know all of this before I agreed to everything. They were very open about all expenses. It's just still hard to survive and pay what you have to because of interest. I do recommend this for some people in trouble financially.

I'm glad FDR was available. They helped me get through a rough situation. My only criticism is how long it took to close out my account after the payment schedule had been completed. I had to call customer service several times over a period of a few months to receive my closing documents.

I am very pleased with how Freedom Financial resolved our debt and worked with us. They were always there to answer my questions and were quick to respond when I left a message. From the first person I spoke with until the last one to help me turn over our account to Consolidation Plus we had personal service. It's hard to watch the mail come and get the calls, I wish we had changed our address and number to Freedom Debt Relief. It is hard to change to a bank for lower interest rates when your credit has tanked, if there was a way to negotiate without that effect if would be great.

I know I never could have done this on my own and I am so thankful for everything they did behind the scenes to get me to where I am now!!! Customer service was always there and easily answered any questions I had. The portal was a huge help, I could go online at any time to see my progress. Would recommend this company to anyone.

My husband and I had been struggling with our debt for several months. I had multiple unexpected medical emergencies that were not attached to my correct address. We thought (after recovering health-wise) we were "okay" until we started receiving phone calls and realized the address wasn't up to date. At that point I was 7 months pregnant and my husband and I were up to our ears in debt. We looked at our options and had a consultation with a local debt management agency. I was very pleased with the way my problems were handled. The negotiations with the companies I owed money to were handled in a timely and professional manner. The only problem that remains is that some of the companies have not released me from the debts and are still showing owed amounts on my credit rating even though they sent paperwork to the IRS and I paid taxes on the forgiven amounts.

I was told that if I was to pay extra money, which I did, that I would have legal coverage should any creditor tried to take me to court during my program but as soon as one started to do this I was told that I needed to get a loan through your bank to stop the law suit. I feel this whole setup is just a scam to get people to join and then tell them they have to get a loan to stop any law suits and that way you can charge them outrageous interest on the loan putting people in just as bad a situation if not worse because of the size of payment that has to be made at one time.

Thank you so much for resolving my debts with an affordable monthly payment. I don't have any more worries on how to pay my debts every month. My credit report is not anymore in bad standing. Money was used by you'll that was in the original acct. host I did not authorize you to spend. When approached each of my debtors it was all to force me into going with you'll to pay my debt. The original sales pitch and what was delivered were not the same. The dumb debtor is over the barrel due to the being ignorant as to what is my best interest. For the amount of fees that you'll collected and the interest rate I feel completely screwed. I have asked to reduce the interest rate since I have been on time and you all ways have gotten your money. My credit isn't good enough said the last person.

Following a messy divorce, I asked FDR to take over the outstanding credit card accounts, to work with the creditors on resolution. Within 6 months each of the creditors had agreed to a payoff percent of the balances. After nearly two years in the program, I was able to prepay the remaining balances without penalties. I am now credit card debt-free. I should also add that during this time I was still able to maintain two live cards, not in the program, with zero balances. Used responsibly a credit card can be a contingent source of liquidity.

While we did save some money by using Freedom Financial, we were lured by false promises and wound up ruining our credit score. While we could make our debt payments, we thought if we could negotiate them down, then we'd be willing to take the hit on our credit score to give us for financial flexibility. We were told that on average they save customers 30-40 percent on their accounts. While technically this may be true, that percentage is not off your enrolled balances. That percentage is off the end balances after you have racked up fees and penalties waiting for freedom to negotiate for you. In the end if you save 10-15 percent off enrolled balances you are doing well.

Debt is hateful. Freedom Debt Relief made the debt I had, much more easy to manage. They handled all of the vendors so I didn't have to, and removed all of the phone calls and emails that stress one out. They made the process so easy and they communicated with me so I understood everything. They help me balance my repayment of my reduced debt too. It was much more manageable and my credit score IMMEDIATELY started to go back up. This was simply the best decision I made to get out of debt and back to a more relaxing, stress free life. When you enroll 20k in debt they have you stop paying and "negotiate" settlements. 2 years later your accounts have ballooned up to 35k in debt from fees and interest. Then your settled accounts at 18k. FDR claims they saved you 17k and charges you a percent of that. Your creditors then write off that 17k to the IRS and you may have to pay tax on it. In the end you would do more work but probably save more money if you put ** dollars a month into a savings account and negotiated yourself. Customer service was polite but had substantial issues when they switched banking systems. I had a series of five calls not returned during that two week period.

They were very helpful and took all my worry away. I highly recommend them to anyone having financial problems. They were prompt to return calls and help with any questions I had. They were friendly and it was a pleasure to work with them.

At first, I was very hesitant to use any program like this, and was not sure that it was going to work for me. Looking back, I am so glad that I did it and it was a great decision. In the beginning, the staff do a great job of educating you on the program, how it will work, how it will affect your credit in the short term and the positives and the negatives of participating. I felt very prepared for how the process was going to work, the negative impact it was going to have on my credit in the short term, but the relief that I was going to experience in the long term. I am so happy that I did it. Drowning in credit card debt is such a difficult place to be and it seems like there is no way out. This program is the light at the end of the tunnel. It is probably not right for everyone, but if you are deep in debt, you definitely should consider it as a very viable option to fix your situation and get out of the hole.

Glad that I completed the program and happy that Financial Freedom resolved most of my debts, but... customer service was completely terrible. Almost never any follow up, took weeks and weeks to get many issues resolved and or answered, many times customer service reps were clueless, and several customer service reps were not personal and treated me like a number and not a person. Definitely would not recommend Financial Freedom to friends or family.

I have called the customer service department on numerous occasions and have been satisfied with the courteous responses from each of them. They have helped me with answers to questions I've had about my account. When I requested information in reference to my account, they have emailed me the information within minutes. I am very pleased with Freedom Financial. They look out for the customer and their needs.

I had a great experience with Freedom Debt Relief. Everyone was helpful when I spoke with them, my debts were paid off in a timely manner, and it was a great relief for me having this taken care of. I felt that everyone acted in a professional manner and had my best interests in mind.

I should have filed bankruptcy. They work out a payment but they don't tell you that you have to claim it on your taxes. I still have a creditor calling me about the balance I still owe them. The loan that pay off the credit cards I will not be able to close out until 2021.

I was with Freedom debt about 6 months when their affiliate company C+ loan offered to let Freedom Debt negotiate my debts and then they would loan me the money to pay, well long story short once I agreed to this no one ever followed up with me on the fees I was being charged and they charged almost $5k in fees, after 30 days "graduated" from the program I'm still waiting on my graduation packet and the breakdown of all the fees that were charged. My estimated fees from them turned out to be $1900 higher so now I'm paying almost exactly what I owed before I went with Freedom Debt. I would beware, my loan is also at 22% interest which is basically a credit card. The only plus I see is if your willing to pay thousands of dollars to have someone else field your debt calls. I'm disappointed. I'm hoping to get my credit score back up and get a low-interest personal loan so I'm not paying the high-interest rate. They are good salespeople.

I have asked several times to get online and hasn't happened yet. But am happy with everything else. Thank you for helping me with get back on my feet though do appreciate that very much and very pleased with all the help you have given me.

With the exception of one creditor all of my debt was resolved in a timely manner. Fast, easy and much better than claiming bankruptcy. I highly recommend Freedom Debt Relief. My credit cards were paid off at half of what I owed and my credit report was back to normal right away.

In the beginning everything went well. It wasn't until tax time that we got a big surprise. We were not informed that when you accept a settlement amount, the excess that is not settled you have to claim as income on your taxes. We had no idea! I had to pay in $2000 to taxes. Then to make matters worse, FDR sent two of the tax forms (individual tax forms for each settlement) late and I had already filed my taxes. We then had to do an amendment and had to pay an additional $700 for taxes plus the cost of the amendment. It is Aug. 2017 and I'm still making payments to the IRS.

Other than not clearly realizing what an extreme hit my credit score would initially take upon beginning the program, I was satisfied with the service Freedom Debt Relief provided. I was glad to eventually qualify for a true consolidation loan through its sister company, Consolidation Plus, and see my credit score slowly return to where it was prior to enrolling.

I was very disappointed with Freedom Debt Relief. They did not disclose to me upfront that they were charging me 20% of my enrolled debt as fees. I had to defer a couple of my payments, the whole reason I was enrolled in the first place was because of financial hardship. One of my larger debts was one payment away from being settled, and at the time I had deferred a payment there was enough funds in my account to make the final payment, but Freedom chose to take their fees first. As a result I did not have enough to make my final payment to my creditor. This caused the entire negotiated debt to default. Freedom made sure to get their money, and didn't care about me, their customer. I would NEVER recommend using this company.

Eliminate Credit Card Debt via process of FDR taking over the debt of Credit Cards and negotiating with the credit cards to reduce amount owed and remaining balance paid off with a monthly payment to FDR. FDR handled all the monthly payments to the Credit Cards!!

First of all they convince you that you will save money. They will then purchase your debt and charge you almost 30% interest rate so you end up paying the same amount if you were to work with your credit cards. You are better off talking to your credit cards and freezing the accounts and trying to get a better interest rate. This company does that for you but they charge a fee for this. You can probably save money not using them. The customer service is very sales oriented and they are full of BS. None of them have any idea of what you are trying to do and they will sell you crap.

I was very pleased with FDR and would recommend it to my friends. The staff was always very courteous and helpful. When I would get frustrated about certain things I would call them and they would explain what was going on and made me feel so much better. I have been in the program a year and am now with Consolidation Plus. The program has been good for me and am looking to get to the end of my long tunnel.

Overall, I was pleased but I did experience a certain amount of frustration when I called with questions. All too frequently, if I called three times about an issue, I would get three different answers about how to resolve the problem. I would finally get the correct answer and I could proceed. In the meantime, however, I would continue to get phone calls at home and I would not be able to resolve the problem. It seemed at times that perhaps I wasn't dealing with a reputable firm because there were so many discrepancies from customer service agent to customer service agent and I was having to deal with creditors on my own.

I went through a divorce and had a pile of unpaid credit card bills. Freedom Debt Relief helped prioritize and sought a reduced total payout for me. I did have one creditor take me to court and did lose that case. Now mind you this is not a free service as they do make money off you by their fees. But happy to say that I was $60,000 in debt, and was able to pay off and today I have GOOD credit.

Got too many calls from the creditors when I was told it would be at a minimum. Did not get back a return phone call from FDR until a week later. Are you kidding me. Definitely no recommendations from me.

From the very start until the last payment was made, I had confidence and trust in the team that was working with me. Everything went fine and there were no issues or problems to me. If any came up, it was all taken care of by this very efficient team of staff at Freedom. After completing the program, I was told I would receive a package of all debts that were settled and letters showing that the creditors accepted those settlement amounts. I never received this package. I enrolled almost $80K worth of debt, and paid into the program for 18 months, which amounted to about 24786 paid in to settle debts. Then I was offered a consolidation loan when I only had two more debts to settle for $40K, so, I settled about $80K in credit card debt, but the entire program is costing me about $64786 total, and it added an additional 43 months to the debts.

This company helped when no one would. Was able to get the relief and rest I had been needing. Truly glad we took the chance with this company. Would recommend this option for anyone with money needs. Thank you.

This service was helpful, but I didn't know until it was too late that so much had to be saved before negotiations would even begin. I would recommend that people have a little saved before they started this process so that they won't have to wait. I did not know how the service was paid for until I was almost done! Plus I didn't always get the same answers when I called and talked to different people!!

It started very well. It as soon they got me when bad. Try to pay $10.000 down of the $18.000 and maybe reduce my interest. The woman I deal with was impossible. She never meet me half way or a quarter. Everything was no no. Can't wait till I am done.

My experience with FDR went fine, except that all the credit card that were resolved went on my Credit report as a charge off. I am having a tough time getting any kind of credit card for emergency purpose only because of the report. Every time I apply for a credit card I am being denied because of my standing with the credit bureaus. I am hope that I can resolve this issue somehow, for I am in dire need for some dental work and no getting approved for any kind of credit I can't get it done. Maybe you can come up with some kind of solution to this situation. Thank you.

This program was such a scam! They ruined my credit by sending me into collections and putting my accounts into "charge offs". Then they charged me all kinds of money in fees for something I could have done myself. I was 100% misled! I ended up borrowing money from my parents and am making payments to them instead of the 28% APR they were charging. I could have saved myself the enormous credit ding and $5000 by just doing this in the first place. These people take full advantage of people in hardship that are trying to do the right thing and get their debts in order. I was lied to and then passed around to their other companies, most likely to avoid fraud charges. I will never recommend this or any other company like it, that takes advantage of hard working people who find themselves in difficult times. They should be ashamed of what they do!

I would not use yours, or any service like yours, again. I ended up doing most of work and presenting the offers myself. If I hadn't been so stressed out, I would have researched it more fully and just done it myself without paying a commission.

My payment is way too high. I CANNOT BUY GROCERIES and the interest rate on my $45,000 total is unrealistically high. I will never have paid off. I was expecting a four year plan. I am already in it for year and half now. It will never be paid off and I cannot afford the payment. They will not help me. Can your office help me with this. I was so happy with your company and now I cannot get Consul to even discuss a modification.

At a time where my debts were overwhelming, this company managed all of it for me and their customer service was phenomenal! If you were struggling to make your monthly payment, they also worked with you on that. I would highly recommend them.

Debt Relief Program was a good program. Helped to get me out of a mess and I learned my lesson. My credit is once again good; I never keep a running balance except for those I can pay off over time without interest due to a special promotion. I pay my balances in full. Use it and learn from it - take care of your credit.

The staff was generally attentive, and the program delivered everything it promised, although the final negotiations took many months longer than I was originally told. Sometimes it was hard to get someone to respond in a timely fashion but the end result -- I saved about $10,000 even after paying taxes on the savings -- was worth the occasional aggravation.

Very helpful with our debt situation. Helpful with solutions, giving us confidence in resolving our recovery. Took a little longer than expected, but a lot less time than it would have taken through the creditors! Only complaint we have is that, towards the end, they offer a loan to be able to negotiate with creditors more quickly. The interest on that loan was higher than some of our creditors were charging. The good thing was that it wasn't spread out between four or five creditors that would have taken a lot longer to pay off, and any amount paid above the set payment was applied directly to the principal.

When notified that a creditor was taking me to court. All I got from this company was a "Good luck with that". 2 different creditors sent tax forms 1099 for the entire balance of the debt years after it was claimed to be resolved by your company. Customer service refused to return phone calls, put supervisors on the line. Give accurate information on when different accounts were contacted if they ever were at all. A very sorry excuse for a company that will never get an endorsement from me.

At first it was frustrating dealing with creditors, Then I get a letter in the mail saying I was going to court, but Freedom Debt stepped in. I still have financial hardships, I just need to budget more, except it's difficult when my dog gets sick. It's better paying one rather than 4 creditors. I still have problems with viewing my statement online.

I loved the Freedom Debt Relief experience. From start to finish I felt that FDR was there guiding me the whole way through my family's particular situation. We are a family of 7 and FDR helped us get back on our feet and start enjoying life again without the financial stress.

I was not quite told the truth and was looking for some help. Well, Freedom helped me alright. Right into paying 27% interest to consolidated plus and now that my credit score is higher, I cannot get my consolidated loan re-evaluated because my income is not DOUBLE my loan value. If I had known I would be tied down to a company such as this, I would have never made the initial call. I want my interest rate lowered. And it won't be considered. What a scam. I went from Freedom which was okay, to be convinced to go to consolidated which is horrible. I am not satisfied.

It was going well, but what we didn't know was that when we got to the end of the year we would be sent tax forms. Working with this company and following their guidance allowed me to minimize the negative impact to my credit report as I recovered from a rough financial time. I was able to complete my program quickly, and six months after the completion of my program my credit was still good enough to get a new auto loan with 1.9% APR. I was quite impressed with how well my credit handled everything. When I needed to reach them and adjust my payment due date, or even skip paying a month, they worked with me and were helpful. This was an excellent experience. For anyone not experienced in handling creditors in this way on their own (and even then sometimes) this service is worth the cost.

I was told I was qualified for this credit card adjustments because the Federal govt authorized this kind of adjustments. After six months of paying x amount to your company I had no idea I would have my credit rating in the dump because no payments were made to the Credit Cards while the counselor was discussing the lowering of the credit cards. Once it was all completed along comes a loan company that is part of your company and sets me up with a 22.% loan to pay the balance owed of all credit card balances that they paid. I am paying exactly what I owed in the first place when I asked for help on my credit cards in total. Therefore I have not received any relief. My credit was destroyed and I am still paying off this total loan with the company that represents your company as well. I am not at all satisfied with this kind of counseling for debt adjustments.

Customer service is excellent. The staff of people are very understanding and most of all very knowledgeable. Freedom Debt Relief was a life saver for me. I had stumbled into a financial mess with credit cards and I was able to settle them at a payment schedule I could afford and at a lot less than the original balances.

Freedom Financial is a financial angel in disguise. They did exactly what promised and helped me get out of a hole that I am not even sure I would have been able to get out of on my own. Making minimum payments on credit cards is the dumbest thing one can do. There is no end! As soon as I signed up the banks stopped adding interest and no more phone calls. All settlements were as promised or even less. They explain a lot in their FAQs, but I wish that they highlighted a few things better. It should be made triple clear that nothing can be negotiated with the banks until there is a significant amount of money accumulated in the account.

How I came to choose this company I can't recall but I would never recommend them. They were inconsistent in their service and product. They were not forthcoming regarding the tax burden I had to face. One client to one advisor is what I would recommend. I would have been better off dealing with credit companies myself. And the fact one likes to take legal action and no one mentioned that really pissed me off to say the least. Then I went to early payoff shelling out 1/3 of my gross income to pay it off sooner. Luckily with help from family I could get from under this train wreck. The kid I spoke to to get the payoff wanted to know WHY I WANT TO PAY IT OFF EARLY... HOW ABOUT 22% INTEREST. I have learned and will NEVER need such a service again.

FDR from day one was honest and accurate on the steps to pay off our high interest debt. Yes, it takes some discipline and sacrifices in the short term but you will be amazed once you start paying off settlements. FDR makes for a fraction of what was owed. The key is set a payment you can afford and add extra to the account when you can - you will feel great when you see your balance decline!!

My experience with Freedom was very pleasant. My account representative was fast and effective. It only took 3 months for all my accounts to be settled. Every settlement amount was fair. My representative kept in constant contact with me. He kept me informed every step of the way. He made sure that my payments were submitted promptly. I never doubted that my business and accounts were being taken care of.

I have never missed a payment while at the same time I have been unemployed since December 2015 and have been using dwindling 401K to make payment at a very high interest rate. No other banking institution would transfer my account without having employment. I continue to pursue employment and make a change in this situation but until then do I have other options? It was easy to enroll and for as much debt as I had, it took a fairly short time. There was also a significant reduction in overall debt paid. Customer support was always available and able to answer my questions.

To be honest, at the beginning of the program it was very stressful, as I had never been late on any payments to any collectors, and was concerned about starting out that way. Your folks were very attentive, and communicated every step of the way with confidence and comfort. Having lawyers and assistance with paperwork at immediate hand helped me to be more comfortable. The transition to the loan aspect, and knowing there is an end date has also made me feel more reliant on my abilities to clear up my debt. I was relieved to get out from under the mountain of debt I accumulated, but was not overly satisfied with how. By not making payments on owed bills, I received numerous calls from collectors that I was not prepared for. Some of the creditors would not negotiate with third parties (such as Freedom). There were always helpful people on your end to guide what to say on phone calls, but the IRS still managed to get into my pocket, taxing the debt relief amount. There was no warning of that. All in all, I am glad to be debt free.

Was satisfied with all that was taken care of. Am a little disappointed with the end of experience as 23 percent interest on finishing is extremely steep. The last few days before it was all finalized had me very nervous. I was unprepared to have to go to court.

My experience with Freedom Debt Relief was a good one; they did just what they said they would do. I paid for the legal service as it seemed like a good idea (I would recommend doing this) and the attorney I was assigned was very helpful. When there were bumps along the way, the staff was always very helpful. When there was an issue with one of my accounts, when I transitioned from the debt to a loan, Freedom Debt really came through when solving the issue. If you are choosing to use a debt relief program, I would choose this one!

All went well with the exception of the end. Three things, when we went to pay it off a little early they discovered a transaction by a creditor that was not accepted but didn't resolve it for several months and wouldn't have been aware of it if I had not called in monthly to find out if movement had been made on it. Second issue was I paid everything off in full in February (instead of the projected date July) and it took until July to get it all caught up hence delaying my credit score rising. Lastly they debited the agreed upon amount after I had paid it off and tried to take another payment (just in case there were more fees that came up.) I value the work they put into working with my creditors but the end of my time went from okay to bad. Not sure I'd recommend with the issues I ran into at the end.

I am still waiting on the paperwork that was "promised" to me in the email on my completion. To be honest, I think they were as done with the program as I was. Poor communication, lazy workers who said they just developed a settlement that I sent in two months before deadline and Jose called me one month later. Settlement refused and FDR cost me $300 for the next settlement offered. I am satisfied with my experience and would never do it again!

My experience with Freedom Financial was Great. I signed up 6 years ago with a Senior debt consultant named Tom **. He was very helpful and straightforward. I had all my debts resolved in a timely manner. I actually had 1 more small debt that I didn't include during the time that I signed up 6 years ago. I made a mistake of not including it. I feel like I've paid more in interest the past 6 years than the money I owe on that 1 account. I might need to get a hold of a rep to see if they can possibly help me out in resolving this one final issue. Thank You!

I didn't know that I would receive the 1098 forms which left me owing the IRS over 3000 dollars. I financed the money with Consolidated for an extremely high interest rate. Now I'm just as broke as I was to start with and going deeper in debt. I can't refinance my home because of my credit score. I ended up in the hospital with double pneumonia and couldn't afford to pay the deductible because I make the money I do, even though it's gone when I get it. Now I'm being sued for that and I don't have any way to pay it. They were very nice and effective. My credit cards are gone. I'm paying Consolidated. It's a good money making system you have there.

I would absolutely recommend FDR to a friend... They made me feel like my problem was able to be overcome. I never felt devalued or unimportant... I made a mistake letting the debt get out of control and they helped me get back on track.

FDR really helped us get on track with our credit card debt. However, I didn't realize that I would have to appear in court for numerous accounts. I also resolved accounts in court and later was unable to get them off my credit report. So I appreciate the motivation to get my accounts in order but I done most of the work myself.

These people only tell you part of the story. They leave out the things that end up costing you money and they greatly understate the effect on your credit score. When there is a problem, they provide zero assistance. They did provide a service, just not what was promised.

Very dissatisfied. For the first year of the program I was constantly hounded by creditors at work and home. I reported the harassment to Freedom to no avail. The harassment did not stop until my debt was converted to a loan. Once the debt was paid off the loan company tried to continue withdrawing money from my checking account until I closed the account and filed a dispute with my bank.

I think the interest you charge is a little too high, when people use your services, they have very little funds to work with. I found it disappointing to know how much I was paying you, I think the faster it gets paid the less your fee should be. Thanks.

I wish I had paid off these debts instead of adding to the total. They added up over time, to a lot more than I owed - which raised my total & Freedom's %. However, I have paid everyone off, and am no longer strangling under the debt load. I still believe Freedom needs a formal acknowledgement of the payoff - a lot of fanfare for the process but no acknowledgement - phone call, nada - of the satisfaction of obligation. Needs work!

This was a scary time for me. I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing but I knew that at my current pace I would never be able to pay off my credit card debts. My retirement income was not enough for all of my monthly bills so I would use some of my credit cards to make payments to some of my creditors... In effect I was just spinning my wheels. Great help and great people to work with. Only downside is it does negatively affect your credit rating during your payoff time and for a good while once you're done. Also as a heads up you are taxed at the end of the year (once your debt is resolved) on the amount of debt forgiven. All that to say it is still a great company to help you get out of debt, and it's up to the individual to stay out of debt. Also their website makes it very easy to see your progress. Follow their instructions on how to deal with the phone calls from debt collectors and you will be fine.

Yes they did resolve the debt but it was not always easy to communicate with your assigned rep. Seldom returned emails. You were passed on to other persons in which you had to explain over and over again the reason for the call.

It was a difficult road but slowly I paid off & worked with settled accounts. Anytime I called with questions I was treated so well and guided the whole way. In the end they owed me money even sending me a check. I would highly recommend FDR. I am so thankful I found them.

My biggest problem/concern would have to be the cost of this service. Initially I was NOT given the full disclosure of the expenses involved. I would never have signed up with FDR if I had known about the 25% charge based on the original amount of debt. Also, I was advised against paying off one 6-month 0% loan that ultimately cost me 3 times the amount of that debt at the time I signed up. I had to switch to CP because the settlements were taking so long because FDR always had to be paid the substantial fee first, which depleted my dedicated account. Basically, I feel I was not able to make an informed decision because necessary information was not made available to me. This influences my trust level. However, I will say that I was always given great service whenever I called or had a problem. I didn't get the full information about the costs until too late because I didn't know the right question to ask.

Would never have used the program if repercussions were known in advance. My credit still shows as "many accounts with serious delinquency." This kept my credit score low and resulted in being denied for credit years later. A debt consolidation service might have served us better, but simply showing financial discipline would have been the best solution all around. Simply pay the minimums on all but the smallest account, pay off that account, rinse and repeat.

The program is easy to follow but requires the consumer to follow the program and stick to it. If the consumer is not willing to do some leg work and keep communication open, it won't work. For me, it was just the program I needed to stop crazy calls and get the debt paid off.

Yes, my credit score took a hit at first. Yes, I changed my address and phone number to FDR's when I quit making payments to them. FDR did what they said they'd do and now my score is back to where it was before I started the program. Debt is painful. Debt relief is also painful at first but it is so worth it to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Having our debt reduced by 50% was great. HOWEVER - we were told it was going to be on a 48month note at 6% interest. When the final paperwork was received, it was for 9 YEARS at 22.9% - higher than the credit card rates were. We were going to pay back MORE than the original debt was. Very bad deal. Plus your credit is ruined.
