I had a great experience with Freedom Debt. After illness took us into debt, I called Freedom for help. I began making my monthly payments and things were going well. I got my first settlement and was so excited. Things got a little rocky after that and collection calls increased and then I got a notice for a lawsuit. That is when Freedom stepped it up and got me a consolidation loan and paid off my settled debts. Now I am making half the loan payments to them as I was to my creditors. Your initial information was very erroneous. I was led to believe that you would pay off my loans and I would pay you back monthly. Oh so wrong... I was hounded by my creditors and made me feel very bad. Your initial information has to be clearer and to the point. Will never and will anyone I meet that you're a scam...

I chose to settle my debts instead of going into bankruptcy since the timeline would have been shorter. I chose Freedom Debt Relief due to their ratings overall and with the Better Business Bureau. I did not regret my decision. They settled about all my debts in a timely and professional manner. I would not hesitate this company to anyone who wants to get out of debt and are willing to put in the time and sacrifices to make it happen.

FDR was a pleasure to work with. Customer service was great every time we called and had a question. It takes time, and doesn't happen overnight, so be patient. My credit score went up every time a debt was cleared. And when the last one cleared, my score went up 20 points to 719.

I was pleased with Freedom. They helped me through a severe financial crisis. I didn't know where to turn, but they made it possible for me, in a short period of time to get out of debt. I am still fairly ignorant as far as finances are concerned, and hopefully I can count on them again to assist me.

I am happy to have had my situation resolved. I did notice a difference in the quality of FDR reps. as I called in -- wasn't happy with that. I also thought that FDR was not that active on a few of my accounts. I ended up contacting the creditor. Got the ball moving and FDR took their fees essentially getting money for nothing. Never did get my closing packet with the paperwork I was promised. Back to where I started. This may seem in contrast; but I am happy with FDR's assistance and have benefited greatly. I dug myself a hole and they DID help me out of that -- and GOD BLESS KAALENE **.

I know I would not have been able to pay off credit card balances without Freedom "but" I was misled about how my cards had to all go to credit bureau before anything would happen with my accounts. Judgments took me to court more than once & I was told, "If you pay more money we can have lawyers help you" & I had no extra money to give. When my judgments had 1 company threatening jail I did get a very high interest loan through them to pay off all my account balances.

When we were paying $850 per month through Debt Relief, we were ok, although it was a challenge. When the loan option became available, we were thankful for the opportunity. But now we're paying $1028 per month and it is worse than when we began with Freedom Debt Relief.

The day everything was settled, I received a notice about a Lending Club loan that I thought included in my overall package. After further research, it was not. Overall experience was positive. Only at the end there was some confusion with the fees I owed, but it was fixed at the end. It was worth the trouble, they saved me a bundle of money and I learned a valuable lesson.

They really have your back on all areas, but there's so much "fine print" that came up, so you have some work to do on your own. Ultimately saved money & mostly time in debt and helping your credit score.

While settling my largest debt, you were unable to negotiate with Discover, which sued me for the full amount. After paying taxes on the settled account and paying off Discover, I would have been better off settling the debt on my own. I was assured that Discover would work with you and it ended up adding $2,000+ in interest. You all were very unprofessional and misleading. I would never want anyone to have an experience with your company!

At first I was skeptical but once the monthly payment was established and my settlements with my creditors kept getting resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction I was very happy. Once I got down to a reasonable amount left one of Freedom's partner companies came in and before offered me a loan to pay off my debt in full and I would pay them a monthly payment with very low interest and I believe it was 30 months and I was debt free. I would recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone. Take the leap. You can't do it alone.

I have to say Thank You to all Freedom Financial employee that has helped me. I was on a downward spiral. I had been laid off from my job that I made great money. When I got laid off we lived on credit cards just to get by power bill, groceries, thing you need to survive. I found another job but I was not making what I was. I went from make 35,000 a year to 23,000 a year. It's hard to pay bills and get ahead with such a drastic difference. They helped me through it and got me back on my feet and debt free. It was very hard for me to make this decision but I had to do something. Yes my credit score of 740 dropped but I'm rebuilding it. I also learned a valuable lesson. I entered Freedom Debt Relief over 2 years ago after being a victim of tax fraud. I had been thinking about for several months prior to my tax fraud and that sealed the deal. Freedom was extremely helpful and supportive during this process. As someone who paid their bills each month on time it was difficult to stop paying but Freedom walked me through the process with scripted replies for bill collectors. I was lucky to have 3 accounts settled in the first 5 months. My timely payments made me eligible for Freedom's loan program and I was able to settle all my debt in the first year in program. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to clear their debt and rebuild their credit score.

I was pleased with the help I received from FDR. I don't think I could have paid my debt without the help I received from them. I would like to see more help offered in the area of once a person has completed the program. They are staying on track of remaining debt free.

First they destroy your credit - encouraging you "not to pay the credit cards monthly". They have you change your contact info so the banks can't buy you. Then they make you wait for 6 months while your credit tanks, the collections bills start piling up while they "negotiate" with the banks. Then, surprisingly you get a notice that one of the banks is taking you to court. You can Freedom Financial (or what-ever they call themselves, which seems to change from week to week) and they snicker and tell you that some banks are "aggressive in collecting debts" and that the best way to hold them off is to take a loan out from them (at a RIDICULOUSLY high rate) to pay off the more aggressive banks.

Freedom Debt Relief took care of everything! We are now debt free and able to pay off bills without all the interest building up and overwhelming us. I thought we were going to lose our farm when my husband lost his job and Freedom Debt Relief kept that from happening.

Although I completed my contract with Freedom it took more than a year to complete closer and every time I called I would get a Rep that would say they were going to expedite my issues to management... I wish the process would have been better.

Freedom Debt did assist with my Prosper Account however I just received a letter from Navy Federal for collection which I will be contacting someone today. I need to ensure that this account is looked into. Once this account is worked I will be pleased with Freedom Debt Relief.

Freedom deleted from my credit profile thing as that were not really as important as my debts and credit score. My credit score remain the same. The files 1099C were never looked at and instead put away as out of date. The employees never knowing what a 1099C tax form is. They were never trained in such matter. It was the primary reason for failure in clearing my credit.

Was very relieved when Freedom said they could help me reduce my credit card payments. Very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend Freedom to anyone suffering from credit card debt. My payment dropped by 500$ a month and my credit is good now.

Overall, I am happy with the experience. I do feel like they misrepresented the effect this would have on my credit report. When I signed up they said they would resolve the balances with the creditors within a few months which is completely untrue. It can take years. You have to endure a lot of late payments before they resolve your balance. Consequently, you need to be aggressive with FDR about resolving your credit amounts. Once I did that, things were great but if I didn't do that, it would have been worse.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who has been treading water and not able to get to shore even though you see land in front of you. For the amount we had we would have been better off not going through FF. The amount of upfront cost and the grief we went through was absolutely not worth it! We ended up with an extremely high interest loan to pay off the credit cards, and really saved very little in the long run, ruining our credit.

I was upset when I found out I had to pay all the savings back. That's not savings at all. The interest rate on the payback is ridiculous. Over 22%. I thought you got them to negotiate and that was it. I never knew I had to pay such a large sum of money back. The only thing I am pleased with is my credit is not ruined. I had lost my job of 10 years going from 48k a year to Social Security at 15k. I had tried to keep up my credit cards but the interest was killing me. I was trying to get a loan to pay them off but due to limited income I was not able to do that. When Freedom Financial called me one day it was an answer to prayer. They took care of my creditors and it was a simple process. My credit scores had been in the mid to high 700's for a long time and it was hard to not pay on my credit cards and watch my credit score decline. All in all though it was well worth it. Yes, Freedom Debt Relief did good job in negotiating with the bankers and settling the outstanding dues but all the accounts were closed with a negative comments that are reflecting on my credit report as a serious delinquency. I am now having problems in getting a loan due to these negative comments on my credit report.

I was very dissatisfied with this company because they are not attorneys and can not offer any assistance in this area. Everything that they did I could have done by myself. In fact, I had to contact creditors, they didn't even though they keep a hefty fee and using them destroys your credit rating! For the fees paid, they don't really do anything. Freedom Debt Relief really didn't save me much at all. I should have worked with the credit card companies myself. Freedom Debt Relief kept stalling with the credit card payoff. I never missed a payment. It was supposed to end in the spring and ended up finishing in the winter. I would not recommend them to anyone. And they left me with a huge tax bill for the next two years on the taxable income for the settlements.

Over the three and a half years I worked with Freedom, they resolved accounts in a timely manner and helped me emerge free from the mountains of debt I started with. I called Freedom Financial in 2012 after I was laid off from my job and could not pay my high minimum balances on my credit cards. They worked out a payment plan for me that allowed me to pay off my credit cards without having to file for bankruptcy. I had over 72000 in credit debt when I started and ended up paying my creditors about 35000 with the help of Freedom Debt Relief. It took over 5 years to pay this off, but it was worth it not to go into bankruptcy! The only negatives I can say is that you need to know you also pay Freedom a high percentage of your settlement, mine was nearly 10000. Also, I felt that when I had a problem with a payment or a question about a debt, I did not get a response, instead I emailed and called over and over until someone got it taken care of.

Freedom Financial was great and easy to work with. If I had any questions or concerns they were very quick to respond and take care of my needs. They were also very helpfully in explaining the whole process. I had all my bad credit resolved and paid off in about a year.

After completing this program I feel that I would have been just as well off either paying down the debts as they were or trying to negotiate myself. The interest rate isn't any better than what credit card companies charge and in some cases it was higher than some of the cards I had. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

The total experience was a good one. At times we had to work our way through a few things to get where we needed to be. The one suggestion I would have if somehow when the balance is paid to a creditor you could make an arrangement with them, to get the amount owed on taxes that would be of great help. In our case the notice always came one to three months after taxes were due. This of course caused a amended filing with interest due. I feel this is maybe was done on purpose just to mess with the client.

Very good company, Did what they said they would do in the time they said they would do it in. We made every payment on time directly from my checking account. They had a web portal that you could track your progress. I had no issues with this company. I've been burned by another similar company years ago and was very hesitant to try it again. I was happy with the settlements of my debt, however, I am not happy with the closure of my account after all was complete, which to my knowledge, has still not been finished? One of my accounts was overpaid by $100, I have still not received a refund of that money, nor have I ever receive my packet with my settlement letters. I spoke to several representatives over a 2-3 month period trying to resolve this, with no luck whatsoever, and gave up. I hope nobody else has this issue, and I hope someday I receive my settlement letters and my refund.

I really wish I had gone another route to get these cards paid off because of the loan that I am paying back now. The interest rate is over 22% and the payment is so high that I can't hardly buy groceries. Most of the payment is going to interest so it's going to take years to pay this off unless I get a different loan.

I was very pleased with the way my problems were handled. The negotiations with the companies I owed money to were handled in a timely and professional manner. The only problem that remains is that some of the companies have not released me from the debts and are still showing owed amounts on my credit rating even though they sent paperwork to the IRS and I paid taxes on the forgiven amounts.

I was told that if I was to pay extra money, which I did, that I would have legal coverage should any creditor tried to take me to court during my program but as soon as one started to do this I was told that I needed to get a loan through your bank to stop the law suit. I feel this whole setup is just a scam to get people to join and then tell them they have to get a loan to stop any law suits and that way you can charge them outrageous interest on the loan putting people in just as bad a situation if not worse because of the size of payment that has to be made at one time.

Following a messy divorce, I asked FDR to take over the outstanding credit card accounts, to work with the creditors on resolution. Within 6 months each of the creditors had agreed to a payoff percent of the balances. After nearly two years in the program, I was able to prepay the remaining balances without penalties. I am now credit card debt-free. I should also add that during this time I was still able to maintain two live cards, not in the program, with zero balances. Used responsibly a credit card can be a contingent source of liquidity.

While we did save some money by using Freedom Financial, we were lured by false promises and wound up ruining our credit score. While we could make our debt payments, we thought if we could negotiate them down, then we'd be willing to take the hit on our credit score to give us for financial flexibility. We were told that on average they save customers 30-40 percent on their accounts. While technically this may be true, that percentage is not off your enrolled balances. That percentage is off the end balances after you have racked up fees and penalties waiting for freedom to negotiate for you. In the end if you save 10-15 percent off enrolled balances you are doing well.

Debt is hateful. Freedom Debt Relief made the debt I had, much more easy to manage. They handled all of the vendors so I didn't have to, and removed all of the phone calls and emails that stress one out. They made the process so easy and they communicated with me so I understood everything. They help me balance my repayment of my reduced debt too. It was much more manageable and my credit score IMMEDIATELY started to go back up. This was simply the best decision I made to get out of debt and back to a more relaxing, stress free life. When you enroll 20k in debt they have you stop paying and "negotiate" settlements. 2 years later your accounts have ballooned up to 35k in debt from fees and interest. Then your settled accounts at 18k. FDR claims they saved you 17k and charges you a percent of that. Your creditors then write off that 17k to the IRS and you may have to pay tax on it. In the end you would do more work but probably save more money if you put ** dollars a month into a savings account and negotiated yourself. Customer service was polite but had substantial issues when they switched banking systems. I had a series of five calls not returned during that two week period.

I was very pleased with my debt relief plan and had all debt paid off in the time frame that was quoted me. When I had questions, everyone I talked to was very professional and courteous. My credit score has vastly improved since I chose FDR. Thank you.

At first, I was very hesitant to use any program like this, and was not sure that it was going to work for me. Looking back, I am so glad that I did it and it was a great decision. In the beginning, the staff do a great job of educating you on the program, how it will work, how it will affect your credit in the short term and the positives and the negatives of participating. I felt very prepared for how the process was going to work, the negative impact it was going to have on my credit in the short term, but the relief that I was going to experience in the long term. I am so happy that I did it. Drowning in credit card debt is such a difficult place to be and it seems like there is no way out. This program is the light at the end of the tunnel. It is probably not right for everyone, but if you are deep in debt, you definitely should consider it as a very viable option to fix your situation and get out of the hole.

Glad that I completed the program and happy that Financial Freedom resolved most of my debts, but... customer service was completely terrible. Almost never any follow up, took weeks and weeks to get many issues resolved and or answered, many times customer service reps were clueless, and several customer service reps were not personal and treated me like a number and not a person. Definitely would not recommend Financial Freedom to friends or family.

I had a great experience with Freedom Debt Relief. Everyone was helpful when I spoke with them, my debts were paid off in a timely manner, and it was a great relief for me having this taken care of. I felt that everyone acted in a professional manner and had my best interests in mind.

I should have filed bankruptcy. They work out a payment but they don't tell you that you have to claim it on your taxes. I still have a creditor calling me about the balance I still owe them. The loan that pay off the credit cards I will not be able to close out until 2021.

I was with Freedom debt about 6 months when their affiliate company C+ loan offered to let Freedom Debt negotiate my debts and then they would loan me the money to pay, well long story short once I agreed to this no one ever followed up with me on the fees I was being charged and they charged almost $5k in fees, after 30 days "graduated" from the program I'm still waiting on my graduation packet and the breakdown of all the fees that were charged. My estimated fees from them turned out to be $1900 higher so now I'm paying almost exactly what I owed before I went with Freedom Debt. I would beware, my loan is also at 22% interest which is basically a credit card. The only plus I see is if your willing to pay thousands of dollars to have someone else field your debt calls. I'm disappointed. I'm hoping to get my credit score back up and get a low-interest personal loan so I'm not paying the high-interest rate. They are good salespeople.

I have asked several times to get online and hasn't happened yet. But am happy with everything else. Thank you for helping me with get back on my feet though do appreciate that very much and very pleased with all the help you have given me.

They did what they promised to do. They resolved my credit card balances. And they answered my questions whenever I called them. They negotiated with all my creditors for a lower balance. I even had some legal help when I needed it. This company handled every thing very professional.

You were a great help. We even paid off early. My husband got involved and also help pay off early. It was a great relief to finally pay everything off so that we are debt free especially since my husband has died since we have paid everything off.
