Unwilling to step-up and be seen, if not for the phone, I'd never know a human was doing anything, for, I had to be the one to handle the court's. No one from Freedom ever helped personal, legally face to face, what was to take 33 months turned into 49months, I'd say, if not for my personal action's I'd still be waiting. They worked, as long as there was no work to be done on their part, done is done. Hopefully nothing will happen to change the ending of the account, with the clearing of these account. Never did get anything from freedom saying the account was closed or something along that line... Only God Knows.

Freedom Debt Relief set up a payment plan and helped me to wipe my debt out. They did so with simple and reliable tasks. I never felt pressured and even when my debt was paid they returned the over-payment promptly and accurately. I am thrilled with the outcome!

I did everything right. They started taking payments out of my checking account the day I signed up. After 15 months of payments, a process-server showed up at my door. I was being sued by two of the companies that they were supposed to be working with! I was furious. Needless to say, customer service was no help. I finally got a personal loan (which I should have done before I tried this horrible company) and was able to stop both lawsuits. NO THANKS TO FREEDOM DEBT RELIEF. I am so upset with this company. They could not even provide me with a clear accounting of all the money in/out of my account. Please do yourself a favor and do not do business with them. They still cannot account for $1500 that was debited from my bank account. And they won't help me, I've emailed at least 10 different people, and no one will help. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN.

FDR did not follow through with started goals. Worst thing I have ever done in regards to my finances and end result is I am worse off than before. It was only a method to get me in a loan program with super high interest rates and my credit score is still hosed.

Had a good experience with the debt consolidation. With a large amount of debt it was paid off within 4 years with no problems. I did have some issues with the IRS but they are being worked out at this time.

I was raised to believe that Bankruptcy was just not done! So I went with FDR. Positive: Customer Service extremely helpful with any issues and resolution. Negative: DON'T DO IT!!! I was sued by 3 of the six credit companies. So if you're going to take this route, include the legal representation. I was lucky! I inherited enough $$$ to pay all my debts off (through FDR) shortly after enrolling with FDR. But the final insult was when I received a 1099C (Cancellation of Debt - considered income) which added about $2k to the amount owed the IRS.

I am just starting the program, so can't really give an experience yet about resolving my debt, but so far the interaction with them has been great and helpful. Accolades to John **, on his presentation to me. I completely trusted his help and knowledge, and hopefully soon, I will be able to get out from my debt.

FDR was open and transparent about the debt consolidation process. They were informative about the process. They took care of everything. I felt confident in how they handled all the steps involved. It took about a year to complete the steps, but I am in a better financial situation as a result of their service. I am a satisfied customer.

I found it difficult reaching out to someone that could help me at the end and to go over status of my account but maybe because I had paid Freedom some larger sums of money at one point might have messed things up somewhat. Overall I was happy with the work Freedom performed.

There was however times when my personal chart displayed more total amount than I had debt. When I called it was explained what that was. My unsustainable debt payments were consolidated and my Credit rating went from 690 down to 520, now after 1 1/2 years in the program my TransUnion and Equifax are at 720! I am glad I signed up through the program as it definitely saved me time and money lost through accruing interest. Everyone was very friendly throughout the process and for the most part able to answer questions I had while enrolled. If they couldn't they would find someone who could. I feel most cards were favorable in terms of the reduction but our Discover card had a mis-communication with one of the advisors and we did a partial to lock thinking it would help us but in the end we basically paid the full amount.

Until I found out there were 4 companies that were marked as paid but were not. They are on my credit report as unpaid. We were sent a tax form which they assured they were paid but were not. Everything else was fine and I even questioned when I got a call from a collection agency saying I still owed the amount.

Was happy, but didn't realize it would take a whole year on a couple of accounts to settle. Was nerve racking to know l had great credit and lost all that. Spoke to a couple different persons and information was told not quite the same. But in all it was definitely a relief to get things settle.

I haven't been with them long enough to give an accurate rating. By what I have paid so far, I could have file a Chapter 11 and got the same thing for less money. I am not even sure what they are receiving for doing this.

If you want to have your debts paid off without all the interest, call Freedom Debt Relief! I did, and I am truly satisfied! The payment to them is not nearly the amount I was paying out monthly on my credit cards.

The program was A+ when I first started. But as I was paying off my debts especially with the 1099 C they completely ignored me. When I finally paid off my account with Freedom it took them 6 months to send me my complete packet. They still wanted to charge me a percentage on my 1099C when they were sent to me and I sent them to Freedom. I was told I can waive the fee and I did, they were not happy about it and it took them 6 months to send me my closure packet. A great company at first but when you’re almost to the end of paying off your debt they completely ignore you.

After struggling to get out of debt for the past year I decided to give Freedom Debt Relief a chance and it was the best decision I have made. Their staff is always there to help you with any questions or doubts you may have. They never ever give you the run around like most companies do. I took the step for debt consolidation and it was a scary one! Not the process itself but the choice to move forward and acknowledge I had a problem and needed help. The entire process with this company was fantastic! My only issue was, I had a good track record with payments so a bank took over all of my debt so I was just paying that bank loan off and not individual creditors. The problem was the bank that took my loan didn't show up on my credit. So months later I had to refinance so I could get credit for that loan and show I'm paying it off. Fast forward and my wife and I are moving into a house this September. It works! Highly recommend.

Working with FDR was the worst experience in my life. I had the money to pay off early and it took over 4 months to get your people to communicate with the creditors to get everything paid off. I sold my house in September and couldn't get that money until February of the next year. I called every week at least once and they told me the same story every time... It really sucked and took years off my life. There was a lady named Theresa in the legal department that helped me the most.

Freedom has been great to work with. After the passing of two of my loved ones - my father and my son... I struggled with just surviving. But, forgetting so much. Our experience with FDR over a 4 1/2 year period was for the most part good. At the end of our debt program there was one creditor who FDR worked out a 3 month payment plan to pay the debt. One payment was made and the remaining two payments were never made. I was not aware that the remaining payments were not made until I received a letter from the creditor. It appears that FDR did not hold enough funds to pay off this creditor before they closed my FDR account. I just found this odd that FDR did not take care of this before closing my account.

I was very skeptical of any of the Debt Relief programs. It tough to think, I worked so hard to get good credit, and it was all that credit that did me in. It's going to be a long 3 or 4 years to pay everything off. But I will do it!!!

However during the 4 years or so that I was enrolled, several of my creditors took me to court well before Freedom resolved anything, so there were judgments against me that could have been avoided had I had a personal credit person to work with that was actually on top of things. In the long run I've learned that it is better to contact your creditors independently and often they give you a far better deal than companies like this.

I appreciate the 1 settlement I have seen so far. However my credit has never been worse because of this program. I hope my score can recover quickly but I don't see how. I'm struggling to keep up with the monthly payment. I question if this is the best option I should be doing. I hope it works.

As a former client, I would never recommend this service to anyone! These are the reasons why... Yes I had 40k in debt but my credit was good because I had always been paid NEVER late! Now my credit is ruined! Yes, my debt was resolved... But here is the breakdown. I started with 40k FDR got it down to 28k BUT in the END I owed FDR 43k because they told me what a perfect candidate I was for their FDR bank. So, I get approved for the consolidation loan which is supposed to "help" me to pay off the debt quicker, but it had a 25% interest, plus there was over 10k of fee's added on... So the total I owe FDR is $43...

I was very pleased with the outcome of my debt consolidation. I would recommend to anyone in a situation similar to mine. Staff was courteous and helpful. They were available to answer all my questions and concerns in a timely manner.

I am coming to end of my Freedom Financial loan and all and all it was a good experience. I only had to deal with customer service in the first year, with general questions; since then didn't have a need. They seemed to settle all my debt without issues. I can't say anything bad about them at this time.

From the very start of beginning to work with Freedom, there was always someone to answer all our questions and to help us move on with the process. Customer service representatives were always courteous and if couldn't answer our questions at the moment, they would try and find the answers and let us know.

This company provided the worst customer experience I have ever seen. They are horrible communicators, they are bullies. They take your money first to pay for their enormous fees and then treat you like dirt and not respond to any emails or promise you to hear from Managers and then nothing. They will give you the run around like nobody's business. They will tell you, "We guarantee we will get a debt reduction for all your accounts..." Well guess what. That is a lie. I have an account that they did not reduce by one penny, but guess what, they still take an almost 3000 dollar fee for that account only. They will crap on you in a heart beat. They will start off nice to gain your trust and then poof it is gone once they greedily take your money. They have had lawsuits against them where people have won and they had to settle but they continue to rob.

I had $47000 in debt but with the help of Freedom I was able to clear the debt. Some months I had to make a smaller payment and they allowed me to do that but explained that it would make the time to pay off the debt a little longer. They never gave me any problems. They were always polite and always worked with me.

When I completed the program I was told that I would receive my letters of payoffs. I never received any of them. I contacted Freedom and they told me that I had to contact them to get my payoff letters. The runaround was horrible and to this day I still haven't received any payoffs. I will not use this company again.

This was a traumatic experience at times... threatening calls and letters from creditors. I even got a summons to appear in court in Weatherford (Parker County), for 2 accounts that had been settled (scary!). But I had me settlement letter, and when I showed it to the person at the courthouse, she sent me on my way (the creditor did not even send a representative). THANK YOU! I am "done" with credit cards! Never again!

Going with Freedom Debt Relief was a huge stress reliever. They walked us through everything and was there every step of the way during the process. Everything was handled in a quick and timely fashion. We never once received a collection call and once our consolidation loan was approved and everything was rolled into the loan, they remained by our side answering questions and working with our creditors.

I can only say great things about this company. They treated me with respect and did everything they said they could do. Very helpful over the phone and notified me of every change that was taking place, kept me informed at all times. I highly suggest using them if you are in any debt problems. Although the experience and customer service was wonderful. I would only recommend that your customers are very clear on receiving the 1099C for settled debt. After accepting the settlement loan option to clear our debt faster we did incur a $8200 debt to the IRS, which @ $125/mo will take some time to pay off. I still would recommend a friend but would advise them to weigh their options. Stay with the program or enter into the C+ loan option depending on their money situation. Either way they may receive a 1099C but 1 or 2 a year vs 7 all at once could be a deal breaker. Thank you for your service.

The debt relief process was very simple and did put my mind at ease. There was one company that I had to call and contact myself to settle the debt. The downfall of my experience was going in with an over 700 credit score, and once they recommended getting a loan to settle the debt faster, I was given an APR based on a 500 credit score and very dissatisfied that I would have paid less in actual debt but more in actual interest considering the average interest rate on most cards were 10-15%. I was in a loan at 29-32%. I feel you should run the credit before the process starts to get an interest rate for the loan, not afterwards. I felt trapped, and forced to take the bad interest rate to keep my credit score from dropping anymore. I'm thankful to be debt free, but disappointed with how I felt taken advantage off.

The only thing I disliked was the fact my credit score tanked. It has taken me awhile to raise it and it has been a pinch for a few months. Other than that, they fulfilled my obligations and I was debt free within several months.

Having never been in debt before (and not liking the helpless feeling about the situation) I have been relieved to have an organization that is so helpful and dependable. It has been difficult each month to make ends meet, but the PROCESS has been smooth. Even my request for one month of no payment was readily granted. In the beginning, everyone couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful. After paying for six months, I started calling many times for a month. I was finally told they were having trouble with one creditor and maybe I should call them. I did and almost halved balance. In less than an hour they faxed Freedom authorization Agreement. Reps were not as friendly after this point. They had me with an exorbitant interest rate.

I have little time in the program, but I am very happy to have made this decision. All the advice has been correct and I am seeing good results, everything is clear and precise. Great customer service. Very professional and friendly. Good tools and resources.

Overall I'm glad I took the steps to be debt free. However was promised that most accounts could be settled for 50% or lower when in fact it was more like 25% leaving me with a higher monthly payment than expected but my debt is my debt. I was told in June that a settlement was made with Barclays Bank. 900+ was paid on 30 June and the second/final payment 4 July. I checked the company dashboard which said it was paid but remained on the board. Concerned, I called and was reassured by a Gus that all was well. When my husband and I both got letters from Bank of America freezing his line of credit, they listed me owing Barclays. I called Freedom Debt Relief and was reassured all was taken care of. When I got a FINAL notice from Barclays I called and sent the info to Freedom.

Though I had to remind you that I had signed up for a 40 month program and you tried to convince me that I should continue to pay beyond the contracted period, which I refused to do, you did eventually resolve the issues. I would recommend your services to others, but would caution them to do the same.

We were not very happy with our experience with Freedom Financial. I felt like we weren't told all the contra indications this would have towards our credit scores. When we signed up for program we weren't behind on anything and thought we were going to better ourselves, but we in turn hurt our credit. Yes we did pay things off sooner than we would have but a loan would have been much simpler for us. Just felt the program was not explained well at all and customer service was terrible! At first, I would say I was not very happy with your company. I was upset in the way that the settling process was handled. While I was told not to take calls from the credit card companies and leave the bills go unpaid, it in turn tacked on more late fees and finance charges causing my debt to be even greater. At times when I called to check on this, I was told that there was no offer made until the credit card company sent a letter of turning it over to the collection. I do not feel this is the way to handle this issue. Those in debt are already stressing over the amount they owe and shouldn't have more debt added to it, which in turn, causes more debt and even lower credit scores. This needs to be rethought.

I was lied to from the start of the program about just about everything. I did everything I was told to do and all it did was get me several summons from creditors who were suing me because I stopped making payments like I was told. Then once I was in between a rock and a hard place I had no choice but to accept a very high rate loan to keep me from getting sued. Also I could end up paying more than my debt was in the first place in. I have made all my payments and will continue to do so unless I can find someone who will refinance the loan at a lower rate. This is not very likely because I can't even get a credit card because of my experience with Freedom. I was going to file a complaint with the BBB but knew it would not do any good anyway. So I will just keep paying my loan payment until I can be done with you forever. And no, I would not recommend Freedom to anyone.

When I started with FDR, I felt like they were sincerely trying to help me get out of debt affordably and keep my credit score in decent shape. When you see the ENORMOUS amount of interest they are charging you, you know the affordability aspect of their altruism is a crock. On top of that, they don't tell you that any amount written off by cc companies becomes INCOME for you and must be reported and have taxes paid on the amount. Then you see that your credit score has gone from fair to nonexistent because they won't start negotiating with your creditors until you are 8 or 9 months behind on your payment. They don't tell you this when they tell you, "Okay, you're a part of the program and we will take care of things from here.” There really are no "good guys" anymore.

When I began this process, I could see no light at the end of the tunnel. I was a slave to my debt and had no plan to resolve the enormous "normal" mounting expenses. FDR and Consol. Plus provided great resolutions and reasonable payments and timelines. My credit score is returning to the 750 mark after only a few years and so am nearly debt-free after nearly 29 years. Hooray!

Was very glad FDR could get the amount owed reduced as much as they did. The loan rate that was arranged I felt was excessive at 23% apx when a real bank's loan rate is 4%. in Indiana. Your customer service was not very helpful with refund of over payment and return of an additional payment after pay off was received.

I liked the way that Freedom Debt Relief handled everything. Very professional, and helpful, I am amazed how well it went, and how much money they saved me, they are an awesome crew. I would recommend them to anyone that's have a problem with credit problem.

To be honest, I didn't see any changes yet and although I started payment but my debts went from bad to worst now since I am getting to Freedom but I am still calls from the credit/loan issuers. I changed the # but still they manage to come through but I don't answer. The late fees mount a lot and I don't actually understand how this Freedom Debt Relief really works because when I joined at first they explain to me that they will pay all my debts and I will repay to Freedom. But after I called later they tell me a different story which means that I have to pay them. If Freedom don't do anything change then I will call lawyers indeed.
