Freedom Debt Relief have been great to work with. They explained their program. I understood our credit would decline from being just below excellent to poor. But I know that we can rebuild. They have excellent tools to increase your knowledge on how to budget and staying out of debt that we got ourselves in. Our creditors just keep increasing our credit lines even though we were only making minimum payments. Freedom has responded to all questions promptly.

After agreeing to settle my debts by means of a high interest loan, 25.99% we still had one debt to resolve. I resolved the debt myself as I did with all creditors without the help of Freedom Debt Relief. I was told that if I settled for less that the loan would be adjusted but instead FDR kept over $3,000.00 for their fee. They are worthless in my professional opinion.

I'm pleased with what Freedom has done to help me consolidate my debt. It's a relief knowing that I only have one payment and someone else is dealing with the negotiations. I just wish the settlement process with my card holders was a little quicker.

Overall I'm satisfied but thought that changing my address and phone number to the ones directed to by Freedom would stop collection calls. I still get so many that I am blocking them permanently. Freedom has already negotiated effectively with my largest creditor.

Everyone that I have talked with during this process makes me feel valued and they seem confident that they can assist me with my debt resolution when several other companies refused to help, even one that I had already secured a loan with and had been a customer for over four years.

Thank you for helping me when things started getting rough. It has been a big help to me. And a lot less stress on me. It is simple and easy for me to just pay you guys and not have as much interest. Then I can take the next steps to start building my credit back.

Updated on 08/20/2020: Freedom got me out of $42,000 debt. I'm on my last one right now. So, I should be out this year or early next year. The program gave me a lot more freedom where I can begin again, live the way I want to, retire the way I want to, and be able to use my money towards that. I was really nervous about going through the process with Freedom. I was going, “Oh, my gosh, I hope it's the right thing.” But after that, I felt fine. I felt really at ease. I would tell others to call and talk to a representative from Freedom.

Great company, the first step is the person that will call you back. I had a lady that I could not ask for a better person. She never rushed me. Told me all the right things and she was very pleasant and went over all the program. Then I called customer service. When you call and ask questions they never rush you. They are pleasant, kind and very helpful. I would recommend this company.

They concentrate on one card at a time and follow it to the end. Which is good, but that takes time and leaves the others waiting. They don't talk to them or offer anything to them and they then bug the hell out of you. It seems they could do better in that regard.

They have been very helpful and honest with everything they have said or done. The company explained what would happen to my credit the first 6 months because they cannot fix anything that was not delinquent yet. All my debts needed to be in delinquent status before a creditor will talk with them about negotiations. My first credit card was paid off within 3-4 months.

So far I have had great experience with Freedom Debt Relief. They need to respond when people fax in things and let them know that they received the fax. At first they would respond with an email that they received your fax. Can some respond and let me know when you received my fax. Thanks. One grateful customer.

I must admit, when I first started out with the process, I felt like things were not progressing as fast as I thought they should. Twenty years ago, I found myself in a similar situation debt-wise, and the program I used then operated differently. I couldn't wrap my mind around a program that didn't revolve around me paying the total amount of my indebtedness, but worked on reducing the amounts that each creditor would settle for!

FDR was forthright, open, honest and endeavored to explain the process in detail not only in the beginning but as it progressed. Their staff is courteous, patient, and very helpful. The entire experience was made as easy and painless as possible, with FDR offering options when necessary.

Yes. I would recommend to a friend. I have gone through Freedom Debt Relief before and they have an awesome. I recently tried to go through a different debt relief program that was going to end up costing me way more than what the program started out being. I would have to say Freedom Debt Relief is absolutely the way to go.

I haven't been in the program very long to provide a more detailed review, however, I like the program and what it has to offer. The one thing I dislike is the amount of time that is taken between settling accounts. I believe a phone call from FDR to the creditor should be made on the client's behalf to let them know that they'll be assisting with paying off the account. JUST A THOUGHT!

I was promised a certain day that I would be finished with the program. They said no matter what May 2020 I would be done with my payments. After the last settlement it changed to July 2021. I am upset and dismayed. However the LITIGATION group was wonderful and up to the task of getting me a settlement after I was served. Because of them I did not worry when I was asked to appear in court.

Customer service not really helpful or friendly. Trying to get in my dashboard since 4 weeks... No one is able to help. I only received an email that they need time to fix it. When I signed up I had some questions, but got no answer. Not able to make decision which account should be paid first.

My husband became disabled and unable to work, this came on really fast, no time to prepare. That left us almost 3 years with only my income. When I felt that there was no way out but to file bankruptcy, my sister told me about Freedom Debt Relief, I have no credit card debt, and the payments are low enough for me to make them and still have money for groceries, and utilities. These guys were so nice and helpful, they even beared with me when I broke down in tears. They did a great job, and I would highly recommend them to others.

They don't tell you they ruin your credit while trying to help you. And the interest-rate is entirely too high. The lack of follow up was minimal. I would never recommend this company. I blame myself for not doing further research before committing.

The experience that I had with Freedom Financial was life changing. At a time where I was looking for loans to consolidate my debts and could not find any, they were there to help. The company is staffed with knowledgeable professionals with a sincere desire to help people like me get out of debt. It is a company that works hard for its clients. The team of customer service representatives are compassionate and pleasant. They always take their time in answering questions that gives clients like me, a sense of security and a feeling of being protected.

Consultants were very helpful and always courteous. They always had great phone manners. This rating is based mainly on how extensive the program is and the fact that I'm paying as much per month or more now than I was before the program. I understand that I have no negative credit hastening but the impact to my family remains.

So far this has been a very good experience. I see some relief from the financial situation I have put us in. I did not see any way out from this financial burden but after talking with the Freedom Debt Relief Representative I am optimistic for the future. I was considering bankruptcy but did not want to have to go that route. This is the honorable way to go and even though the creditors will lose out on the interest they should get most if not all their principal. The program extended longer than promised. Lack of communication from Company to better advice customer. Not good customer service from "Conflict Solution" dept. Lack of continuity regarding customer service agents (every time I called there was a different agent).

GREAT Experience! I would recommend a friend to this program, if they were struggling with debt or trying to catch up on bills and slip and are not able to get back up from it, but at the end of the day, this program is helpful and has great rate of success. I have the utmost confidence in them.

I thought you people would keep the creditors off us and the harassment phone calls. I had to contact them all myself and send copies of letters when they first started, it didn't matter. I thought that would be part of your office to handle this. I faxed many letters from creditors with offers to lower my bill. I have asked for confirmation to be emailed to me, THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED, IT'S BEEN A YEAR AND NOT ONE BILL IS PAID OFF.

The whole experience from the beginning to the end of the program was great! Every time I called the person on the line was very helpful and friendly. Without this program I would still be struggling to pay my bills. Now I am in a better situation and have a better credit score.

One phone call was all that it took. The person took all of my information and quickly came back with a decision that the debt relief was the way to go. They help me get reduced settlements on many of my cards and suspension of interest. They did all of the negotiations and the phone calls from the different companies stopped within a couple of months. After a sustained time of making my monthly payment they switched me to a consolidation loan and paid everything off. I then continued my monthly payment until completion. It couldn't have been easier.

Freedom Debt Relief was easy to work with and they helped me pay off credit cards quickly. I was offered a deal with a loan but the bad thing about that is the interest rates. I'm not quite sure if I traded credit card interest for loan interest. My credit still hasn't gone back up as promised so again, I am withholding final rate until it's been a year and I can see a difference. Overall, I think it's a good program.

I was happy to work with FDR. They were very helpful and guided me through the process. My only complaint was that their response time to my emails was slow. I often had to call them for an answer which I found annoying. I like to keep a record of my conversations in these situations. Otherwise it was great.

The experience has been wonderful. The advisors are very knowledgeable and helped me get settlements in 8 months. I will be debt free in less than 3 years. FDR was able to get my debt reduced to almost half of the original debt. Which will allow me to pay it off even faster.

I was told that we could get a loan to pay off the creditors. Then after I spent a ton of money faxing in bank statements I was turned down. "Bad credit" no crap because I quit paying my credit cards. Never could get someone to talk to about it. I didn't feel like I was fully told about everything.

I experienced courteous and helpful people every time I called with a problem. I got correct information from the very beginning and told what the procedure would be to get me debt free. It would take a while but at least I was headed in the right direction with the Freedom Debt people. It was a load off my shoulders to know someone was fighting for me. I learned a lesson on money management but if I ever need help again, I would not hesitate to call Freedom Debt.

All went well on the first three credit cards. Actually paid those off ahead of schedule. The issue I had was in the end on the last credit card. FDR was not able to settle due to the bank insisting I had to settle on my own. Which I did. When all was settled I had made 2 attempts to find out why money was still being deducted from my account. I was assured if there were monies taken out that shouldn't have been, beyond the debts that were covered I would be reimbursed. On the second call FDR told me they would stop taking money and whatever was owed to me would have been put back into my account or I would receive a check. Neither happened. It appeared me I had over paid by a minimum of 2 payments. But never received anything back. When I went back in to double check my math FDR had taken me off the system and I could not log in any longer.

The only problem I had was when I needed the 1099 form I received no help in getting it. I settled my debts. But all this did is get me in debt with the IRS. All because of missing forms that were never sent.

Freedom Debt helped me in so many ways. Always accommodating and quick responses to questions that I would have. By helping me settle my debts, I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I would highly recommend others to consider using to get relief with their debts.

It was very easy to set up an account. Notifications were easy to reply to for paying off each account. My credit cards were paid off in a timely manner. After they were all taken care of I received a check for money left over in the payment account.

Make sure you read the fine print in its entirety before signing up with them. You go to them scared, believing they'll take care of you but my experience was not like that. I almost ended up in court with my Amex account. I was not kept up to date, poor responses. I had to continually check on my accts to make sure they were being taken care of. Wouldn't use again.

I was satisfied with overcoming a debt settlement but it wasn't what I really expected. The payment I ended up paying was very much what I was paying for hand. I don't know if I would do it again. It was a long process. Getting in debt is easy but getting out is not. The interest rates on most cards are just too high.

Everything at this time is moving fine. One company has been settled. But sometimes I still receive statements from them. I am hoping this is just a passing in the mail problem. Please keep up the good work as you have been. Thank You.

I am unhappy especially with two of my accounts. Freedom transferred one of my debt from lower APR to a higher one which I ended up paying more. On the other hand during the negotiations period I was offered a better offer from creditors which Freedom didn't accept. All in all my credit is ruined and I have still a significant debt to pay. Not worth to enroll in such kind of program.

They handled everything as best they could... Things went smooth. All account contacts went good. Freedom's personnel was great to work with. They was good as to keeping me posted on what was going on and where we stood. I appreciated this factor.

This was a God send to us. It took a little longer to complete than we hoped because we had a couple of times we had to change what we paid but they worked with us. I enrolled 8 accounts. FDR secured 6 very good settlements, 1 poor settlement and I withdrew one account. FDR collected almost $3,800 in fees for a settlement which the creditor rejected before the first payment was made. It took me 6 months to figure out the problem and then 5 months to convince FDR to give me my money back. This is illegal.

Freedom did exactly what they said they would. I tried a different company in the past and they were more than a disappointment. I am very happy with what we accomplished. It feels good to be debt free! I would recommend it to my closest friends. In fact, I have.

Overall this has been a very difficult experience. While I assume full responsibility for my debt, this has been a lengthy and cumbersome process. I'm pleased that I've come this far and my debts have been resolved. Now I am faced with a huge payment for what I think is an impossible time frame. I've reached retirement age and have health issues which may prevent me from working to age 62 as planned. With these and more personal limitations I fear I may need to either modify my loan and/or default. I think that paying the principal is what I expected in the end and that's not what happened. I appreciate the assistance in trying to pay down my debts, but this experience is not what I expected. First, I never expected to be sued by any of the credit card companies. I never expected to pay for the legal services or not be represented. I never thought I would be threatened with wage garnishment. I was also offered a loan to pay down all the debts and that was the last thing I expected to be offered. I was offered settlements from some companies, but FDR chose to hold off for a better settlement. I don't hear from FDR as often as I feel is "comfortable". I was not told that you would let my accounts go diligent for 6 months before you would start to negotiate. I called and talked to several people regarding this and I was not late with my payments and I was afraid how this would affect my credit. Initially I was told you endeavor to reduce charge balances by 50%. That never happened. Additionally, you did not reduce one account and wanted to charged me 20%. I never received news of action taken and the online account summary was inaccurate. I also received different information from everyone I talked to... Blatantly incorrect. I have been with Freedom Financial since 2015. When I signed up, I failed to read the fine print on their website since I heard an advertisement over the radio and signed up. I did not realize that I would have to pay a fee of up to 75% to Freedom Financial. They were not very transparent with that information. I have asked them to provide me an account ledger over 10 times and they never do. Every time I call, and speak to a new agent, I hear a different story, or excuse or reason why they haven't sent the statement. And, every time I called to get information on my account status, they always gave me a different explanation.
