Because you have helped me a lot I am pleased with the service on the phone. Even when I had trouble with getting on my phone it helped step by step. Also it helped me with the money problem I had And started fresh with my life. It helped me live.

I first learned about Freedom Debt Relief through a television commercial. I chose them over other options because their approach to debt resolution appealed to me. The enrollment process was smooth, and when they asked about my debts and creditors, it felt like they were taking care of most of the work, which was reassuring.

I am an FDR second time customer in 20 years. I am a customer of FDR sister companies as well. I know I can depend on FDR and their affiliates. Due to an accident and poor health, I am again in trouble more than 20 years after graduating from the program previously. I do highly recommend their services to those in need.

I needed help again and I was fine with the company I was already using, but I was almost graduating from it and I didn't wanna start it over again. I looked Freedom Debt Relief up on the Better Business Bureau and did research on them, and they were legit. When I spoke with them, they were so much like the one I was already working with, which I'm very impressed with. As I started working with Freedom, I noticed they keep better contact and send more emails. They keep me more up on things more often than the other company.

I highly recommend FDR for any and all help needed for financial help. By far the greatest set of people out there. Friendly help point me in the right direction and showed me where and how it would look in the end. The app is a great feature as well. Has short videos that help you with creditors and how to speak with them.

I fell behind on a lot of my debts due to medical expenses and illnesses. I’ve been trying to get back on track, and after doing my research on various companies, Freedom Debt Relief seemed to be one of the better options.

I owed over $20,000 in debts and after I spoked with Freedom Debt Relief Program, except for my one collaterized loan, they could reduce all of them into a small monthly payment of 338/month, I was thrilled! It would be for 48 months, but it would be terrific to not have that hanging over my head. Plus, I could pick the date I could start the payments.

My debt was causing me to have high blood pressure. I felt like shutting down all the time. Then I found Freedom Debt, after having a good talk with a representative, I got all my paperwork together and handed it over to F.D. They know I am deaf and won’t call me, so instead they email me what needs to do with their help. It amazes me how they respect me with communication, so I can call them with my video remote interpreter and see what going on. This helps me understand better.

I'm not finished with my program but so far so good. I cannot believe the stress that is off my head. I have not had to worry about anything. It's been wonderful. Just keep making those deposits. I've had two cases so far that a lawyer had not shown up to represent me. This last case will only accept a full lump payment along with a judgment made against me. I signed up to get help and I don't know what to do now. This last lawyer got two cases mixed up.

I think your program is great, it is helping. One thing is I wished one debt was resolved before court, that way it would’ve been cheaper. Overall your program seems to be helping paying off my debt. Maybe not lower but it is paying off debt. So thanks for that.

Contacting you guys can be difficult. There's a point in your automated system it doesn't accept any answer no matter what button you push. I've had a hard time getting in contact with the guy that helped me set up my account. The process of taking payment was easy though.

What Freedom Debt Relief does NOT tell you when they are encouraging you to join the program are two very important things. First they say it will affect your credit slightly, wrong my credit score went from 725 to 400, then all my creditors whom I'd been in good standing with for years cut my available credit to $500 from a $19,000 available credit in my AMEX card which they told me to keep open. Then systematically my other creditors whom I'd weren't enrolled in the program started canceling all my cards. I'd never been late, all my bills were being paid on time, but I was drowning in debt. I knew I needed help, so it did do what they said it would do, they got debt forgiveness in all the enrolled cards.

The customer service agents have been knowledgeable and very courteous when answering my questions and dealing with my concerns. I have had several creditors who have been critical of the program and demanding either payment or working directly with their companies to resolve my payment issues, sometimes in a somewhat threatening manner. FDR's customer team has been invaluable in helping me handle such calls. I really appreciate the kindness and professionalism.

The FDR team is easy to communicate with and understands the issues I’m dealing with. Text messages and the app help keep me informed. Once I was able to explain the issues, your associates showed concern then reassured me. One issue is when adding additional creditors. The information I was given was to add it on the app. Bottom line- help is always available when needed.

Freedom’s enrollment process was fine, quick, and easy. I still am with them, and they've been very helpful and quick at settling debts. I've already settled two and am working on the third. They’ve been very efficient.

Only had 2 Lawsuits filed against me using this method! Not bad I suppose! 🤣 If you are in to lawsuits and that kind of thing, highly recommend! Otherwise my accounts that I signed up are settled. Oh and my credit is absolutely destroyed. They don't really make all of this clear upfront.

It is very frustrating to keep getting threatening phone calls and I keep telling them I am going through a hard time and I am trying to make payments but they don't care. This is the first time I have done this and I don't know if I made the right decision or not.

I thought this was going to be great but it wasn't. I asked how much would they take from my payments and they told me $9.95 a month. I was paying $376 biweekly and noticed that they were taking about $30 every payment. They made settlements for 3 of my accounts within the first month, which made me happy and excited. When I looked at my account again I noticed that more money was going towards fees instead of my settlements. I was never informed about any type of fees beforehand.

I just want to make my payment on time with a reasonable amount cause I’m on a fixed income and don’t want to have to pay fees and high interest. It will be easier for me to have Freedom Debt Relief to work with me and get these bills paid and I am not going to use anymore credit cards until these bills are paid.

I have tried to get ahold of the Gentleman I started with, he is a ghost or this is a scam. Don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, needed questions answered. Not a response to any of my calls. When we talked last he told me I would be getting a copy of the agreement and have yet to receive one.

I really appreciate them taking time to work with me to get all of My debt put together & looked up. It took a while getting them all there, but they were great working with me. I'm hoping that getting my payment going toward the bill and not the interest each month will get it paid off a lot quicker, it seems I've been paying these forever!

FDR has provided all service as advertised and presented. As such, my cases have all been settled and now transferred to a consolidation loan. I am only disappointed that I did not utilize FDR first. I am only unsettled for utilizing another company first which did not honor as advertised.

Updated on 09/12/2025: It was reassuring to know there was someone there to understand my situation and also willing to help me sort through the rubble of what I felt my life had become. I appreciate the time taken to explain all the details, and the time taken to help me understand my role and that of FDR. It was so helpful and in no time at all, I have been able to get mostly out of debt. The phone calls have ceased and the pressure relieved. It finally seems like life is coming back together 1 piece at a time and I am so thankful that FDR has helped to make it that way.

Troy was amazing as he explained all my options and worked with me to find the best choice. He was patient and attentive. He explained each detail for me and did not get irritated when I didn't understand something. He also explained my payments and explained the process in an easy to understand manner. Updated on 07/11/2025: We got 1 cleaned out nicely Thank you very much. The next bill is US Bank and that looks good at that price. I was looking at Discover card but that's coming up next so were in in a good coelom. I hope we go for the Walmart card next after that because I want to leave the other 2 for last.

They are going to save me a lot of money. I am very happy with my decision to let this company help me get rid of my high credit card debt without paying so much money in interest charges. The representative that helped me sign up for the program was very helpful and explained everything to me very well.

I just signed up for debt relief. My first payment is due is in February. I’m hoping that I can get all my debt cleared up within the time frame agreed. I was referring to by a friend and she is very pleased with Freedom. Thank you Freedom for making my life so much easier.

So far so good, the only annoying part for me is talking to the creditors and keeping them at bay until an agreement can be reached with them. FDR STAFF HAS BEEN PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING WITH ME. I would gladly recommend them to anyone seeking financial relief from debt.

When I started out with FDR I told them I'm on a fixed income and what my living expenses were. They still insisted on an amount that made me not be able to eat. And they do not report to credit bureaus either so I'm paying a lot of money, way more than I can afford, to settle debts, to a company that really doesn't seem to care about clients. If they did, they would report monthly payments to credit bureaus. They do things on their own time. There is zero communication unless I call them. I'm going to ride it out because I'm already deep into their program. I would not recommend anyone else do it though. There must be a better option.

FDR has taken more than 1/2 the money I've paid in (I believe) to line their own pockets versus paying off my bills. I pay almost $500 per month, but you give my largest creditor $50 a month. You all played on the emotions of a stressed individual, whose bills were paid on time and over the minimum each month, and made it sound good to have "a break". Ran my credit into the ground have only settled 2 small debts. I hate I was so stupid and weak to have fallen for the biggest scam of PAYING SOMEONE TO PAY MY BILLS!!!

Updated on 07/08/2025: Easiest people that I have ever been dealing with on any program. Has empathy for my problem health hardship of my wife's illness of 17 months. Will recommend their company to any friends that might be in the same predicament that I have encountered. They have resolved 2 credit card debts and have contacted one other large one that they are processing now.

Freedom Debt is ONLY concerned with the amount of money they will collect from you. The ONLY time you will ever hear from them is when a settlement is reached and they want to collect their fees, aside you will only get an email or two. But when a settlement is reached, you should expect calls all day and texts until they get their money. Then half of what you are paying them will go to the fees with little to your creditors. Take a long look before you do this program.

Going over what to do and how everything would work was easy to understand and helped make it easy to work with. I have peace of mind knowing that I’m in good hands with this company and that they will take care of what is needed. I’d recommend this program to others that are in need of help as well.

Nice to see the debt go down and good info on the website to keep track of the status of everything. If I have concerns, they are quickly addressed and resolved. Salespeople, not actually here to help. Almost threatening if you try to leave the program even though the biweekly payment is enough that you can’t afford your actual bills. Very poor customer service. I would recommend definitely working on your debts without their “help”. I’m as dissatisfied as I possibly could be. A so called 2 year program that will tank your credit score for 10 years.

The reason that I joined this program was to help settle my account with One Main and it was deemed urgent. Now as a result I was notified of a possible lawsuit. As long as I have been with this program some form of communication should have sent regarding program enrollment. Being sued after 6 months or more with the program defeats the purpose. It should not have come to this. I am not pleased at all! I called and spoke to someone and submitted notice from the attorneys months ago. Why hasn’t anyone contacted them?

FDR is an amazing to deal with. I have had no issues or worries. The client dashboard is so simple to use. The only complaint I have is that all their sister companies constantly let you down and waste your time. If you sign up with FDR stay with FDR. They’re the real deal.

So far happy with the process and feel relieved to be taking positive steps toward a positive outcome. The feelings of withering anxiety over unresolved debt are now the wish to fast forward and just be done. As the process moves ahead I'm confident I will be more pleased with the process.

Updated on 03/27/2025: They got a settlement within a couple of months. As long as you keep up with your payments, they will do the work to help you settle your debts. You have to have perseverance and patience. I never thought I would find help like this with my debt. It has helped me discipline myself as far as money is concerned. I would recommend them.

I lived with deep anxiety and depression until I found this group. After I signed up, they have taken care of everything. My debts have drastically reduced and I can breathe again. I wish I known about them years ago. Now, I am telling friends and family members who are dealing with despair and anxiety because of their debts.

I like how I was constantly kept updated on every transaction on my account. It was easy to accept an offer without making a phone call. I just had to response to a text. If anything else came up against me, I got notification to see about adding it if I wish to for them to settle. It's been a great process and very money-saving.

You need to call customer or contact by email to check the status like face to face, try to do phone call and check details and how long will take process or general question we have. BESIDES, when I call need to wait longer time to have customer service in the line.

I have been charged too many fees. I was told by customer service that my fee would be prorated and it was not. I was negative $30 before my first payment which should have been when my program started. Customer service was not helpful. This is why I’m not happy with the service so far.

I have sent an email with same question 3 times and I have not been answered yet. I need to know what happened to the money we paid to JPMCB early in this program. We had a glitch in our deposit and the 4th and final payment wasn't made and all that money was lost. I need to understand what happened to the money and recover it to pay them off.

Freedom Debt Relief has been nothing but awesome! The hardest part is realizing that you are not making any progress paying your cards minimum only payment. FDR fights for you to get that debt reduced to almost half and we will be graduating the program in less than 2 years. So glad we joined!

You guys are killing me with the settlement fees, I went 4 months without a settlement… But you sure did take your settlement fees and leave exactly 9.95 for your maintenance fee, just before my next deposit… Then you guys screw me and overdraw my account and cause a settled account to go into default… It’s been 5 months and you guys have done nothing to fix it after multiple calls and complaints. That is money and settlement fees lost that I show no efforts on your part to repair. I will never recommend this service to anyone. I am in too far to quit now… DO BETTER!!!!

I like the way that Freedom Debt Relief maps things out where others didn't. There were ups and downs, but I understood the process takes time, and I don't think anybody could have done any better. It’s been great.

Not happy that some accounts are listed that I did not authorize and have requested they be removed! When I spoke to someone on the phone, that person could not provide a response for the lack of accuracy related to my account. My money is deducted every month and still not happy with progress!!

I have researched about the debt consolidation program for my credit card debts. Each companies I spoke with are offering different options and rate. I called this company to see if they offer anything different for me to consider. This guy: Tony ** called me and he is extremely rude. I asked him, "If I pay off earlier, do I save money." He kept avoiding answer my question directly and said, "I don't think you understand." I asked him to explain the program in detail. He got annoyed and said, "I already did." I told him that I am going to call back and speak to someone else. I called again, it keeps going to voicemail and no one pick up. I think this company does not want anyone's business. You say in the beginning, "Don’t worry about creditors. We have a legal team." But they don’t do anything for you so now I have a lien on my property. And if I had to do it all over again I would of just tightened up my stuff. And if I had to do it all over again I would of just tightened up my stuff and did it on my own.

The agent was very understanding and reassured me there is a solution and wasn’t as bad as I thought, the set up for a better debt solution for your situation is the most easiest process and easy to understand. Agent is super easygoing and well informed. Such a relief once everything is set up. No regrets in giving them a call and there is no dumb questions ever.

Avoid Freedom Debt Relief – A Costly and Stressful Mistake. I deeply regret ever trusting Freedom Debt Relief (FDR). Their service is designed to take advantage of people facing financial hardship, and they make money at your expense while providing little value. Here’s my experience to warn others:

What would Make this review 5 stars? It would be for Freedom Debt Relief to show or list all accounts for enrolled and where remaining debt is but not shown. I have sent on 3 different occasions copies of creditors latest summaries which includes account numbers and debt amounts. I have followed up with phone calls which verified you had the supplied information however had not been updated yet. We need to be on the same page starting from day one and receiving 5 stars. The only thing that has been updated is the amount my monthly payments are.

They have held me through the whole process. I wasn’t sure if I should do that, but they explained how long it takes for me to free of debt. They explained how long it would take for me to pay off my debt. So I was more concerned about my credit score than anything. Thanks for helping me.

This has been a blessing! Not what I was expecting from a ad on social media!! As a truck driver I appreciate the contact on companies behalf when negotiating as well as reminders to check in online. Their method to paying off debt inspires me as well to start investing frequently into savings. Good deal!

Updated on 03/25/2025: I have replied to emails I've have received from support on several occasions and I've have yet to receive a response. Lengthy emails asking about issues but to no avail. I have discussed that issue with someone on the phone and no one has responded to any of my emails. I just don't understand why someone could not send me a response, even if it stated we have received your email and someone would be getting back with you in 24-48 hours

I was pleased to see an account settled within the time frame that was provided. The settlement was divided into 3 payments which allowed for money to remain in my account for future settlements. I look forward to continuing to work with FDR and am anxious to see additional accounts settled in the near future. Thank you for your support and communication!

This company has been a life saver. I enrolled and the process was super simple to understand. I love the app feature and the payment monthly doesn't break the ban. Not even a month into the program I received my first settlement. Super grateful and excited to see what else FDR can do!

I have used them in the past and have had nothing but a great experience with them. It put me at ease with resolving my debts. Actually cost me almost $500 to enroll this specific debt. Not only did the debt increase because I stopped making payments to the card. The debt was reduced by $41 and then I was charged $515 in fees. When I called customer service she kept insisting that they reduced it by the $41 failing to recognize that the fees far exceeded the savings. What a joke.

So far so good. Very helpful getting started. Very nice on the phone. Explained throughout the process. Looking forward to getting this taken care of. I feel that I'm heading in the right direction. The only thing is a hassle is the phone calls I still get from creditors. Wanting me to make payments.

My experience with this company to date has been great. The customer service of days gone by. I would recommend the company, they have been patient, very informative about the process and helped adjust my expectations. The customer dashboard is easy to learn and helped with all my questions. My first withdrawal went smoothly.

The guy that helped me was really nice! Explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. Even if they were dumb questions. But I do need help with getting my account updated to my new number and my new payment plan. Because it is still set up on a previous one. Good morning! As of 12/28/24 no!! I’m not happy with your company!! Why!! I really don’t understand what’s going in. I choose your company because of BBB. I work at Walmart and several of the people have National Debt and they have no no problems. I try sending my bills to you all. It didn’t go and I sent Emma a copy of why it didn’t go. So I ask for the address so I can mail them! Again nothing!! I talk to Jessica and ask if after you take money out of my account do I still make payments. Her answer was no!! So why!! Called for help because a law group contacted me to get the information they needed to help not put me in another garnishment and the help was not given as needed - cried and just feel lost. I came to this company for help and now feel that I am not being helped when I was told what to do and was told the company does it every day - no one to call back the lawyer group.

The process was easy to complete and understand. I was relieved after doing this. I had been worrying about all of my bills for some time and needed a new start. I will complete this program in order to get my debt under control. I do not want to continue to be strangled by my debt.

Wow, this all makes me very nervous. The process was fairly easy. The representative was super understanding and helpful through the process. I’m just now receiving one settlement and I’m so grateful. While being over burden with that seems extremely irresponsible, I am glad there is some sort of assistance out there when the credit card companies bounce interest rates so high.

So far everything has been pretty easy and they have been very helpful but we will see how it goes when the creditors start calling. I’m not very good with confrontation and I have always paid my bills on time so it’s going to be interesting to see how that goes, but it will be very helpful in the long run.

Great and awesome. Would use again if the need arise! Helpful with questions and with quick responses! Able to postpone payments if needed though it does affect scheduled original complement of the program plans. Don't hesitate to reach out to them, because they don't make you feel less than because of the circumstances you find yourself in. Online portal easy to maneuver and figure out!

They resolved my debts quicker than I thought. Consistency pays off. I was expecting to be in the program at least a few years. Thanks to their hard efforts and my consistency, I hope to graduate in a little over a year. I can't wait to finally be debt free, so I can finally be in control of my money once again.

I canceled this process and you people still submitted to my bank account. My bank stopped the payment. I left a message for Ton who did not get back to me, send emails no response. Yep! You guessed it. I am not happy with being ignored. I changed my mind, do not want your service. I went ahead and made my payments to my credit cards.

Staff were understanding and down to your level. Assured that they can guide to move forward and allowed some breathing room in spending for renovation-remodeling, etc. There a sense of hope and light at the end of the tunnel. I rate them highly, but probably get things more accomplished if I wasn't supporting 2 others. Which makes it harder to maintain the proper deposits required to everyone's satisfaction, but such is life. I have had to cancel some of the payments and or change the amounts required. I’m happy with the resolution, but very unhappy that it’s taking so long to settled my debts and the total amounts of the debts are increasing while we wait for the settlements. After almost a year, only 1/2 of my debts are settled. I’m paying so much in fees for little resolution.

The Men and Women who work at Freedom Debt Relief have been nothing but respectful, caring, helpful, and reassuring. They have helped me get through a tough time with bills piling up and me pulling out my hair trying to rob Peter to pay Paul. No one wants to hear but, yes I did have a creditor in this put me into litigation, and they stuck with me through it and gave me options.

Easy, convenient, quick, helpful, understanding, cooperative, sensitive, patient, thoughtful, kind, friendly, supportive, caring, considerate, and a number of other good qualities to make the whole experience stress-free. Would recommend this to anyone who can’t qualify for a bank loan. Willing to work with you, even when you encounter difficulties making the monthly payments. Only wish the interest rates were lower, but it’s doable nonetheless. Hope I don’t have to get another loan like this in the future, but I will doubtless return to OneMain for assistance should it become necessary.

Debt consolidation company very efficient, customer service is excellent and they stay in communication with you at every level of the process. They also provide a portal that is easy to navigate that allows you to stay connected to the process at your own pace. Very happy with all customer service but hope that we can get the account that was in legal and they cannot garnish my wages now to agree since it was part of the $120. There also has to be a referral fee for Candy ** at the same address because without her I would’ve never have done this.

Very poor amount of write off Discover card. Talk a big talk but did not even get 50% off. I could probably got 100% off by myself. You talk a big talk but not impressed. You never mentioned a percentage additional charge just the monthly payment. Also two of the accounts were zero interest. Also asked to be called on your settlement form and never got one. I guess you got me and that is the end of any personal contact, just electronic and do not have time-got my money and goodbye from you.

Very good service that have great knowledge of my program, always answer my questions in a manner I can understand. I only have one credited still wanting me to respond to them, the account that are calling about is my Discover account. They have threatened a court summon. I need some help taking care of this other than that. Everything you guys have done is outstanding. I will continue with my payments. Thank you very much.

Our advisor, Kevin, has been amazing in terms of communicating what is supposed to happen and how. The three stars are entirely because of his support. The lack of the remaining two stars are maybe more my misunderstanding of how quickly the process does or doesn’t work. I am still more than hopeful. The process is working because of the first settlement being so successful.

Everything at the beginning sounds so good and start working together, then after receiving the bank account number they go rouge. I could not get assistance on the phone, I had and account that needed added and no one would help me. It got to the point I just had to stop.

This place has no communication with me. I have not set up Internet access to get on the board. I tried to call. They never called me back. I’m just so disappointed in this place but they sure take my money every month and now I’m getting sued by a credit card that you guys were supposed to take care of

I realize it takes time to set up settlement negotiations. But there hasn’t been any information provided to me about any negotiations. I’m getting emails and calls concerning payments on these accounts. I was told not to make any payments on these accounts because they were being negotiated. When will I be notified of any progress…. getting a bit nervous about this choice of handling these debts.
