I called FDR to drop out of the program because I had been told by my landlord that my November 2024 rent will be increasing by $200.00. Brandon was very understanding and considerate of my situation. He explained how staying with the program would be beneficial to me in the long run. He even shared his family member's similar situation and how they could eventually see the benefit(s) of not giving up! Brandon then pointed out that I can take until October 30, 2024 to think about it. At that time, there will still be time to stop the draft of my payment, if I do choose to stop the FDR program. I would like to say, approximately 2 years ago I was drowning, trying to make minimum payments to the creditors, this was a hard time during the pandemic, but I heard about FDR and I picked up the phone, BEST THING I EVER DID. Being in debt can be pretty overwhelming. With the aid of FDR, my debts have been cleared up, one at a time, through FDR’s negotiating for a settlement in my favor, in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the progress I have made with FDR at the helm.

We are not even sure you have a customer service representative. After two (2) years in your program we have sent fifteen (15) emails and at least that many phone calls, leaving messages and we have yet to talk to a representative. We have sent several government resources helping Veterans in depth, and your company refuses to use my Veterans Benefits. We sent several letters from banks attempting to close some accounts way less then your company is agreeing too. Over two years and we are still receiving collections notifications. WE ARE PISSED OFF and getting ready to speak to legal professionals on actions needed to take. All of this is unnecessary if y’all just answer some questions.

I am amazed at the comfort I have knowing that they are taking care of everything. I know at the time I am getting a lot of phone calls but they will get better as time goes on. I am so pleased with what FDR is doing for me. I trust that they will take care of my debt in a timely manner.

I’m pretty new to Freedom Debt Relief, just a few months in fact, but they already have 2 of my 6 listed creditors in negotiation status. I couldn’t believe it! From my first interaction FDR has been great. When I didn't qualify for a loan, they had another option for me. They give you tools and don't call, text, etc. constantly. They follow up when I'm not responding to their few calls. They always have encouraging words for me. I'm not worrying like I did. Thanks FDR!

I had a nice experience with the Freedom Debt Relief program. I wish am aware of this program before now. I would not found myself In this situation I found myself. Updated on 01/15/2025: I've been working with them for about four months now, and the communication has been very good. The customer service is excellent, as they always answer all my questions promptly. I’ve already seen a significant difference in one of my accounts, with about 60 or 70% of the total debt being taken care of, and they're currently working on the second one.

I would see and hear commercials for services like these and always assumed they were a scam. Long story short, I got in to some impulse buying issues and it got out of control and I couldn't make the monthly payments. Enter the debt collectors. I saw another ad for FDR and thought "what the hell?" They negotiated with my creditors and reduced my debt by 45%. So, now I only have to make much more manageable monthly payments. This is real, folks!

I'm just new to this program. I can't really give you a full detail on what it's all about but in overall they were very patient with me as they were very instructive on how to do with the people that are going to be contacting me in the near future and let them know they're all going to get paid through them.

Helped me get my paying off debt in order and I'm grateful. Worked with me on existing debt that will be paid off as they negotiate a payoff. It's a great plan and I am pleased that I chose to do this. It takes the pressure off of me. Now I can rest easy and get my credit rating repaired.

The perk of using this service is as long as you continue to make your monthly deposits they will steadily over time negotiate settlements on your debts and you'll generally pay much less in those monthly deposits than you would in monthly payments to those debts. However, while waiting for your deposits to build up your creditors will continue to charge interest on your accounts, meaning by the time a settlement is negotiated even at 50% settlement you may be paying more in accumulated interest and their settlement fee than what you owed at the start of the program. That said, if you're already behind and drowning in debt, this is an option to survive.

I would highly recommend! Process has been smooth and affordable! I have enjoyed getting back on track financially and being able to live while doing so. This has been very rewarding as well as a simple process. Thank you to all those who make this as easy and stress free.

I am very dissatisfied with the processing time to dissolve my debts because is taking way too long to settle my debts. I am very unhappy that is going to take me another more 5 years or even more to dissolve my problems! I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the time to take to resolve my problems and this should not be the case. I need it to be faster and more immediate! Not a good experience!

Everything we talked about in the beginning is going as planned. No complaints here. Credit is going back up and things are a lot better. I would recommend everyone to give it a shot. I have nothing at this time. This was only to take 48 months and I already have 2 1/2 years in and I got a notification that one of my debts is going to take 34 months to close. Well with that, it is going to take longer than 4 years.

Everything was good until you started pulling my payment out a week early with no notice. I find this very rude and am thinking about switching to a different company unless someone calls me and explains why. You have made me go into the negative in my bank account both times this has happened! I’m not made of money

Didn’t explain everything correctly, but I’m into it now so there’s not much I can do about it. They didn’t explain the part about. I had to wait three months to be late in order to start getting this debit correctly. Meanwhile, I keep getting all these calls in Texas. Really irritating.

They have helped restore some on my credit and it's seems to be working already. Still taking longer than I thought it would. There's still some that haven't even been touched yet. They should have been touched first. Now they're just more money and more money and it's just going to cost me more and take me longer to get it done.

Overall great service. Like the way each account is getting solved in a timely matter, and is always being informed about what has happened, and about what is about to happen next, and the time limit estimated. Freedom will not notify creditors that they are handling the credit and therefore the creditors keep on calling and calling. From what I’ve noticed is I’m paying more to freedom than I’m paying to my creditors. From what I’m paying it looks as I’m going to be paying more than what I initially owed.

I have been quite happy with Freedom Debt Relief. Every time I call, I get someone knowledgeable who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. My only issue is that the website doesn't seem to deal with Safari (Apple's web browser) very well. I wind up having to use Google Chrome and have to log in multiple times on Google Chrome. Other than that, I have no problems.

I wasn't told my credit would take hit it took and when in program I can't have any credit. I still have other cards that I couldn't add to the program. It's good when it works, save little, hurts your credit. I have few more cards, have wait to put on program, some can't, they need to work negotiating faster.

Things I was told on the initial call were inaccurate and I believe they just were trying to get my business/money. The debt they told me that would be resolved first and in 4 months, is still there after 7 months. Also, I was assured I could reach him by phone or email with any questions or issues. I tried to reach him both ways, multiple times, and haven't heard a peep from him. Also, they didn't explain how bad the calls from creditors would be. I receive calls from 8 am to 9:30 pm every day!

I thought signing up with you would be helpful for my current situation. But after I was all signed up, gave you my personal information, the woman says "So are you comfortable with telling your creditors about this?". HELL NO, I'm not comfortable. That is why I signed up with a payoff company. Too late now... I will NEVER recommend your service. I'm stuck...

Entering into my battle with cancer I found myself in rough times. Not wanting to leave major debt to my family I began debt resolution to shrink and resolve my debt. It will take me two years to pay off what may have taken me longer than I was told I may have. Freedom became a major problem solver. A perspective from a person going through this program. Switching to FDR feels a bit weird at first. Not paying your debt and letting it "go" feels awkward. But if you stick with the program, it will work out eventually. I was able to settle all my debts quick and easy. So far it has been one of the better decisions I have made.

I have sent back the same account several times. They keep sending the same negotiated amount after I specifically asked for a lower renegotiated amount. The account in question was turned into collections and should be able to be lowered. Also I would have liked to have seen the lower dollar accounts settled first.

Process seems to moving slower than I expected. I understood would take time to pay debt but the negotiating process slower than explained. Not sure the speed of the process is reflective of the fees charged to the customer. It has been nearly a year and only negotiated 4 accounts

You’re not working on my debt like you said you would. It’s few and far between when you finally do make a negotiation. I figured you’d work on them faster especially the bigger ones but you’re not. It doesn’t make any sense to me, but I guess it is what it is.

The only thing I can see that might need "improvement" would be having the higher amounts worked with first and something a little more timely. Other than that, Freedom Debt Relief has been doing wonders for me. I'm about to recommend freedom debt relief to others so they can get their debt worked on as well.

I was told that the program would be resolved and begin rebuilding my credit in a much faster manner. I even paid one of the loans off because the program would not negotiate with them so I guess overall I am disappointed and would have just contacted the lenders myself if I could do it over again.

I'm a currant client who was deceived with regards to the "fees" Freedom Debt charges/was never explained this and mislead to where my payments were being applied. My payment is $396 monthly, to date I paid $6336 and $3433 has gone to freedom debt relief for "fees". I've paid MORE to freedom debt relief in fees than to my creditors. This "program" destroys your credit, and although it would appear the "fees" are listed in the contract (not explained or directly stated) at least not to me. As an example, I was contacted, told FDR saved me 50% on an enrolled debt ($7500 in savings) but never stated that out of that savings, I now am in debt and have to pay 25-30% of that savings as a "fee" to freedom debt relief. So after the fact, that "initial reduction in negotiated savings" is only 20-25%.

Freedom Debt Relief is fast and easy to get cases settled. They stay in contact with you to keep you informed and ask if you agree with settlement before they agree payment arrangement is set so you will be able to start on right track of getting your credit score in good standing.

Would like to set up a meeting to just get a overview and make sure all is in order. I appreciate everything the company has been doing for me and couldn't be more satisfied. Freedom Debt did everything that they said that they would do to help me with my debt. I sleep better knowing that they are real people and a real business. I was expecting to have a dedicated contact person with whom I can readily communicate with. I worked with a co many years back for this same issue and they were much more hands-on. The person who managed my case was always available to me. Seems FDR is too digital and not enough people orientated.

So far things are going really well. It’s a bit scary knowing that my credit score is going to take a hit for several months. But, it would have happened soon any way with how things were going. And probably for a lot longer. Now I have a payment that is easier to deal with and peace of mind.

Have been misled or misinformed about ut program. Was told settlement of account with a balance of 4400+. Now I am told balance is 5100. Was told balance to be settled was 4400+. Now seems to be 5100+ with 50% reduction and 3 payments of 800+, more than half of my Social Security which I can't do. Secondly now and was told that soon to be $1800 can't be used to make these payments...What is its purpose then????

I was so scared at first about doing this but now that I am almost a month in Freedom Debt has already made one settlement in progress. Very happy with customer service and product. It has been a great experience so far. Everyone I have spoken with is always kind and answers my questions. I like that I can add money when I want along with the scheduled monthly payment in order to pay off the debt faster. I like the set up of the online account which allows me to see the payments and how many payments are left.

It's a couple things added to my account I don't recall. When I questioned it the explanations don't add up to me no matter how the agent tried to make it make sense and the date of completion constantly changes and I don't like it and last but not least my payment keeps going up and I was told it was a set payment once I signed the contract but that was also false information.

This had seemed like the best option for me at the time. When I called and talked to someone, it sounded fantastic. The process is slow and not sure why. I feel for the money I am sending each month, there should be more settlements more quickly. Instead, it feels that they slow ball the process to rack up monthly account fees that are starting to feel like on purpose. I have increased my monthly deposit and it's still a slow process. The communication is not very good, especially when I am uploading documents. I do appreciate their assistance, but I think I would have been better off not paying my debts and negotiating on my own and saving my monthly fees for this service.

I'm waiting to hear from Freedom Debt that my account is all taken care of. I been calling and talking to some Representatives to get information because every time I try to go to the port hole dashboard I have difficulty getting on there after resubmitting my password. I don't know but I prefer calling and talking to somebody in person to get more information on when my account will be done. The last person I spoke to they said I had to point that was before September and then they took another payment of $194 out on the 1st of September so I don't know where I'm at exactly right now. Just waiting and excited about being done with it but everybody I spoke to has been very cooperative and helpful.

Updated on 10/24/2024: The people at Freedom Debt Relief are really good. They're very professional and proficient. I like how Freedom keeps me well-informed on the app, and if I ever run into any issues, I can call them and they can work something out. One of my debt companies are in litigation, so they are providing me with an attorney to handle that.

I have already had a settlement within a few months with them and their staff has been lovely and transparent every time I've contacted them. They are a lovely bunch of people that really seem to care about you. I finally feel free and calmer about my future with Freedom Financial with me.

I have mixed feelings. I look forward to getting things paid off. Communication is poor. After we signed on getting responses was slow. Before we signed the person answered FAST. I was under the impression that it would take 2 years to finish. We told the rep that we wanted to refinance our home in 2 years. She said we would be completed. We are thinking of changing company.

I know I have access to my dashboard, but I can't take a look multiple times a day, every day. And the bi-weekly payments aren't easy for me at this time. I still end up paying 125 bi-weekly to get these debts down. If I had that I would just pay off my debts. It doesn't feel attainable anymore.

I have been with you before, and I should have stayed with you. I was paying over $300 a month with the other debt consolidation company. After the day I signed up and paid Shawna never followed up with me and I have never been updated on ANYTHING! How am I supposed to pay 300$ and then NOTHING? I’m canceling and this was the worst decision I have EVER made! I never had a problem with paying my bills and my car payment is collateral on the loan. I completely stopped paying it and now I paid everything and want to cancel! I should be refunded because I literally paid for NOTHING!
