This is the second time that I've had to use (FDR). My first experience with (FDR) was all positive and when I found myself in a similar situation trying to start a business I feel confident in going back the same route to resolve the situation. They can tell me exactly what to expect and they produce exactly what they say.

Staff very helpful and take you through step by step your plan. Work with what you can afford each month. The staff is very friendly, professional, kind and helpful. I would recommend FDR to family and friends. It took a load off of me and I could relax. This is truly amazing.

I wasn’t sure when I first began this walk with Freedom Debt Relief that it would be right for me. I was very skeptical, but I no longer worry about what to say to creditors and how I’m going to pull money out of the air to send to them. Those worries are gone thanks to Freedom Debt Relief. They work in the background speaking to my creditors so that I don’t have to find money where there is none.

From the first phone call a year ago to today, the support and communication I've received has been excellent. I would absolutely refer any of my friends and or family to Freedom Debt. The team has treated me with respect, patience and understanding. And thanks to them, I'm halfway done with my out of control debt. Today I have only 3 of the initial 6 debts left to settle.

I'm waiting to hear from Freedom Debt that my account is all taken care of. I been calling and talking to some Representatives to get information because every time I try to go to the port hole dashboard I have difficulty getting on there after resubmitting my password. I don't know but I prefer calling and talking to somebody in person to get more information on when my account will be done. The last person I spoke to they said I had to point that was before September and then they took another payment of $194 out on the 1st of September so I don't know where I'm at exactly right now. Just waiting and excited about being done with it but everybody I spoke to has been very cooperative and helpful.

Updated on 10/24/2024: The people at Freedom Debt Relief are really good. They're very professional and proficient. I like how Freedom keeps me well-informed on the app, and if I ever run into any issues, I can call them and they can work something out. One of my debt companies are in litigation, so they are providing me with an attorney to handle that.
Original Review: I’ve been enrolled in this program for a few months now. I have a debt collector suing me for a debt that is enrolled in this program. This program never reached out to the collector to negotiate at all. And when I sent the information for them to contact the debt collector, they only claimed someone else will contact me as a lawyer, which I’d have to pay for. So unprofessional. They didn’t even know which law firm would be assisting.

I have already had a settlement within a few months with them and their staff has been lovely and transparent every time I've contacted them. They are a lovely bunch of people that really seem to care about you. I finally feel free and calmer about my future with Freedom Financial with me.

I have mixed feelings. I look forward to getting things paid off. Communication is poor. After we signed on getting responses was slow. Before we signed the person answered FAST. I was under the impression that it would take 2 years to finish. We told the rep that we wanted to refinance our home in 2 years. She said we would be completed. We are thinking of changing company.

I know I have access to my dashboard, but I can't take a look multiple times a day, every day. And the bi-weekly payments aren't easy for me at this time. I still end up paying 125 bi-weekly to get these debts down. If I had that I would just pay off my debts. It doesn't feel attainable anymore.

I have been with you before, and I should have stayed with you. I was paying over $300 a month with the other debt consolidation company. It took one phone call and five emails to get the other company to understand that I wanted them to close my account. They would not leave me alone because they wanted me to stay with them so bad. I could not afford them. FINALLY after many communications, they refunded my money. It was quite a fight to get them to understand that I didn't want to be with them anymore. I am SO glad I'm back with you! Thank you for taking me back! Last time, which was about two months ago, it cost me $100 less for your service. I think your price went up $100. I still like you guys a lot better!

After the day I signed up and paid Shawna never followed up with me and I have never been updated on ANYTHING! How am I supposed to pay 300$ and then NOTHING? I’m canceling and this was the worst decision I have EVER made! I never had a problem with paying my bills and my car payment is collateral on the loan. I completely stopped paying it and now I paid everything and want to cancel! I should be refunded because I literally paid for NOTHING!

Our program works best as a team, after enrollment it is up to you to keep yourself updated on your dashboard and by calling our customer service team, who are available 7 days a week for your convenience, and can answer any questions you have and provide any additional support you need. If there is ever any action needed on your behalf, we will contact you to obtain the information needed, and we will contact you when we have settlements available.
Our fees are only charged after a settlement has been obtained, and your deposits sit in your dedicated account to accumulate for negotiations. If nothing has been settled, you have not been charged any settlement fees.

This was the first time I had ever signed up to Freedom Debt and prior to this, I never signed up to debt consolidation. The reason for this was because there had been a lot of scam bogus programs out there. Freedom Debt Relief is the best thing I had ever signed up to. I was satisfied with the way Freedom Debt Relief handled their business. The reason I needed them was to drop my debts. I had a lot in debt. Mostly, it was credit card. All the papers I needed to sign were no problem. All the documentation came in. The people that I talked to on the phone were gracious. Everything worked fine. They answered all my questions and told me exactly what to expect, and they didn't die.
Some of the cards were resolved. But some were not. And it took a very long time to resolve these other cards. So, in lieu of that, with the reverse mortgage that I was awarded, I pulled the high cards, the ones I owed the most on, which were Discover, and I solved them. I paid them off myself instead of going through the negotiation process. Because Freedom also told me that the Discover cards were one of the most difficult cards to negotiate. So, we agreed that I did the right thing there. They helped get me out of debt.

I would recommend this company to anybody who is financially struggling with debt. They are courteous every time I have spoken to a customer service rep and they have resolved a handful of past debt for me. It is a great way to get out of debt without filing bankruptcy.

I have been with Freedom Debt for about 5 years. I debt was over the top and as a widow was definitely struggling. They literally took over my problem and gave me an amount to pay monthly which definitely was way less than my regular payments. Now this month of September is my final creditor to be paid off. Freedom Debt Relief has worked with me and my creditors to help me successfully pay off my credit card debt and reduce the amount I owed to the majority of my credit cards. When legal action was brought against me, FDR handled the negotiations for paying off that credit card company. I will soon have my entire debt paid off!!

Great service, knowledgeable staff and easy to understand process. In the they were very detailed and patience when explaining how the program works. So far they have been able to negotiate my debt to very low amounts. I'm very please with the work they have done so far and how easy it is to change the amount I need to pay every month that's helps me control how quickly I can get out of debt.

Very informative and very good service. Takes care of business in your behalf. You just leave it in their hands and they will negotiate with all of the creditors and you just approve their work when the deal is done. These people really know how to negotiate, even more than half off.

I have multiple debts and after a couple weeks one of the bigger debts I had went to settlement saving me a lot of money and headaches and now I have to pay a lot less and the best thing is I don't have to worry about the interest which was mostly why my debts were rising even though I wasn't using them. I always paid more than the minimum, most of the time I paid double the amount but it kept getting higher than I could keep up with. Freedom Debt Relief is a better and much less expensive than I thought. Right now I feel like I'm on the right path with Freedom Debt Relief. If you don't think it's for you, it wouldn't hurt to call and talk to someone. They are upfront about everything and they don't pressure you. It's all up to you what you want to do. Freedom Debt Relief has already taken away the headaches because I feel really comfortable with them in my corner.

When FDR called me, the agent that I spoke to was beyond amazing. He answered every single question that I had and talked to me for about 2 hours. He went into great detail about every thing I wanted to learn about and every thing that I was concerned about. He was an older fella and he gave me actually really good life advice, being that I’m in my upper 20s. I wish I could remember his name, but he gave me a great experience.

Very helpful and friendly. I tried another agency and went back to FDR more help. They are resolving my debts without them going into collections. They keep in contact with you and they get a hold of you as soon as they receive a settlement from your creditors. I would highly recommend this service

I pay Freedom Debt Relief monthly, but it's not like it's a loan company. I pay a higher monthly premium now because I couldn't pay sometimes during one month, so they added it on to my next monthly payment. I am over a three-year plan, and my credit score went really down, but now, it's starting to come back up slowly because they're starting to pay my creditors now. Overall, it's a good program. If anybody's really in debt, they should do it.

When I called Freedom Debt Relief's number, the guy that helped me in the beginning was very helpful. He explained everything to us, and he did good. What helps is Freedom would send a text out. It's a lot easier because they would send me a text and ask me questions and I could answer them through a text. They answer my text messages, or if I was out, I could call them and get answers.
The program has been helping us with paying our bills off. We got bogged down with the pandemic and we had to use our credit card because everything is expensive, and we couldn't afford our credit cards anymore. It gave us more freedom with our money to be able to buy groceries. It's much easier that way knowing that there's a light at the end of the tunnel instead of paying 20 bucks here and there and it would keep going up. Once it's paid off, it will be a lot of freedom.

You are supposed to help settle for LESS, not the SAME amount we owe. So disappointed with you guys at the moment. Should have gone with another company. With 3 of my 6 debts now addressed and in settlements, I have mixed feelings. The fees are a very big burden that was not discussed at all and seems to be stifling further progress. Still happy though with the actions taken. Law firm wasn't the easiest to work with though. I'm hopeful for an improved experience by the end!

Freedom Debt Relief has been so easy to work with. They’re understanding and non-judgmental. They were able to take my high interest loans where other consolidation companies were not willing to accept them. For me, the first few weeks were stressful, but it had nothing to do with FDR. Consolidated all my credit card debt. They explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and have maintained contact. Keeping me updated with how everything is going. I'm more than halfway through my 3 year term and it's been a breeze. Very little interaction, which I love. You make your monthly payments and they send you a E-Mail when they have relieved an debt. Easy as that. This has been a great experience for me so far. You can also pay a little more if you would like to have your debt go by faster.

I trusted this company to negotiate my credit card debt. I was told to stop making the payments so they could negotiate with the creditors even though I was not behind on any of my accounts but I did as they said. They removed 4 of my biggest accounts from the program, despite them being off the contract, without ever contacting me. It wasn’t until I started receiving collection notices from these accounts that were supposed to be taken care of but weren’t that I contacted this company and which is how I found out. Took weeks to get any information or paperwork from them. Needless to say, they left me worse off than I was before enrolling in their program! I wouldn’t recommend their services to my worst enemy!!!

Read your documents before signing up with Freedom. It's really important, I didn't and now I'm getting sued by one of my credit cards. It's better just to settle on your own and when I stopped paying a year ago some credit cards call me to tell me that they haven't heard from Freedom.

I have been with Freedom since mid-May 2024, and I am truly happy with their swift resolutions to my debt. When I started, I did not think I would make through the whole program, but so far it has been a great experience. It still early on in the process and hopefully it will remain on track, but we will just need to wait and see.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the customer service offered by anyone I've spoken to. So far the only not great experience is how long each debt takes and dealing with my creditors. I just don't know how my credit will ever recover from this which sticks me without being able to move or buy a new car.

I am very pleased. I have had a lot of things going on. I was forced to quit my job due to threats of physical abuse. My husband has had several surgeries due to an infection in his heart and the people I have dealt with have been very supportive and willing to help me any way they could which was wonderful. It took a big burden off my shoulders. They even lowered my payment to what we could afford so yes everyone I have talked have been great.

We have used Freedom Debt Service before when we were successful in paying off almost $60000 in various credit cards. Recalling details of the payment, FDR was able to reduce the total payment to the tune of 40 percent. FDR was also very flexible in accommodating the payment date change. Overall, good and prompt service was provided by FDR.

I have only been with Freedom Debt Relief for a few months, but so far, everything is okay. The person that I spoke with was willing to help me. She listened to my questions and concerns. She had all the answers, and she didn't rush. She was very patient. And to me, that's very important when you speak to the representatives over the telephone. I did like that about the person I did speak with. I have logged into their website. It seems like all the information that I need is there. Overall, I really need help with this debt problem and so far, Freedom Debt Relief is the only one that has been willing to help me out.

Updated on 11/09/2025: I have been enrolled in the Freedom Debt Relief Program since November of 2022. When I enrolled the program, I had 25 credit cards and 1 personal loan totally (26) accounts. Total debt was $46,728. As of today, November 8, 2025 Freedom Debt has help me pay off 13 of the creditors totally $16,417. The other 13 remaining (creditors or accounts that are in Process) total is $30,311. These 13 accounts are being paid each month with the funds I deposit in my Freedom Debt Relief Account and my payment status are current and up to date on all them. In closing Freedom Debt Relief has saved me thousands in just the interest alone. I would like to say that I really appreciate all the support and help the Freedom Debt Relief Program has given me and, continues to give me. Thank you.
Updated on 03/19/2025: I have been with Freedom Debt Relief for approximately 2 1/2 years. I came into the program with 26 credit cards and or loans totaling $47,628 and have repaid $15,430. I am very happy that I am enrolled in the program. For many of the cards I had, I only made minimum monthly payments, and the debt was not going down. Without Freedom Debt Relief, I would still be paying hundreds of dollars in just the interest per year plus, I would still have 26 credit cards or loans. Twelve (12) of my credit cards/loans are completely paid off. Ten (10) are in the process of being paid back monthly and 4 are upcoming. I am very grateful for all the help I am receiving and all the help I have received thus far. Thank you.
Original Review: I've been enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief for 22 months and I am glad I enrolled in it. When I joined the program I had over 26 credit cards and/or loan totally over 46,000 in debt. As of today, FDR has help me pay off 6 creditors and I have over $9,000 less debt. .I also have 12 creditors that is currently been paid on each month and the interest on these cards have stopped. FDR has been great to with. It has relieved a stress from my life of worrying about how to make ends meet. In addition it would have taken me years to pay off my debt which I will accomplish within three years. They welcome additional payments if you can afford to reach your graduation date early.

I called back a few hours later and received excellent customer support and she explained more about the balance process and how creditors are paid. The debt consultant of FDR called me and asked me for my debts and asked me to upload my debts. I uploaded the debt. They got back to me and gave me a plan on what I could do and how much it would be every month. They took care of all my debts and didn't play any games. They put me on the program and got almost all my debts so far taken care of. I still have three accounts with them. I had one that went to court. They got the attorney and the attorney went into court and advised me of what was going on. They send me a monthly statement on what's going on. Any time I have any problems, I upload the information that's needed. If I have customer service questions, I call and I'm able to talk to them all the time. FDR is a good company. I'm perfectly happy with them.

I feel that this process has take and will take an excessive amount of time to resolve the debts. I’ve done a consolidation in the past and all debt was resolve in 2 years. Payment to creditors didn’t not depend on the balance on my account with you. I think 4-5 years is a long time to have my credit score affected by this.

No course of action at was promised. I have had deductions taken from my bank account for 2 1/2 months now and they have only settled 1 of my accounts. I now have accounts being charged off because they have not even contacted the banks for resolution. The next step for these creditors is going to be small claims court. I thought this was to avoid all of that.

I have tried over 2 months to add new debt from collectors that I was told to upload and Freedom will manage them for me. I receive emails asking for more information and then you will proceed. If sending a statement with all information on it does not work what more do you need.

FDR has given me a feeling of security that my debts will be paid off sooner than I thought. The easy monthly payments make me feel like I'm actually getting somewhere. Thank you FDR. I definitely recommend you to anyone who's over their head in debt. You can easily access your dashboard and watch how quickly your debt diminishes. Whenever your Authority is needed to accept a payoff your're sent information from FDR and all you have to do is accept and they will do all the other work. Even if someone sends you a letter demanding payment Freedom Debt Relief will take care of it for you and you never have to appear in court for someone that's suing you.

I can't believe how much they negotiated my debt amount down. I paid less than half the original amount. I'm still early into the program, but so far the results speak for themselves. Very good. No problem with them. I am satisfied with them. I would recommend them to anyone. There is not much I can say except I am satisfied with them..I don't understand when I am suppose to start paying the companies they have already made a settlement with. They have make one settlement. Haven't told me to start paying the companies.

So far it's been very good. But just barely started. Elizabeth explain it well. So as of now it's been great. Just starting though. I myself think that all creditors should have a notice so they know us as owing money they're aware so we don't have a millions of phone calls like bankruptcy knowing I plan on paying.

Customer service is there willing to answer your doubts in a very professional way and by my experience the time they take to do that is really short. Process is very good so far but have not started negotiating with the debt holder as of today. Process was explained very well and I understand how the escrow account works and how long it takes to negotiate with the debt holders. The timing of completing the negotiations with the debt holders was also explained very well.

The representative was very kind and extremely helpful. My experience with Freedom Debt has been positive from day 1. Peace of Mind letting FDR work with creditors. It is great having FDR haggle with the creditors and knowing that I am getting my debt paid off in a timely manner. FDR is always sending me updates of my due dates and sending emails about how much I have saved. Once they have reached a settlement with a company, it is relief to receive an email stating they have reached a settlement amount.

Waiting on someone to take care of issues concerning summons for being sued by credit card companies that I thought FDA was taken care of is stressful. I feel like I can do a better job. I'm taking care of these credit card issues before one of your customers is sued

Easy to do, they are helpful along the way and keep you up to date on what is going on, I would suggest to anyone who is in financial debt, low payments and is a real good program. They can get you quicker payoff than paying extra interest on your balance, and get you balance about half of what it was.

Yes, I would recommend to other people. I’ve had so far a good experience with them. They have solved a couple of problems with my credit card debts. I hope all the other debts get solved soon so I can be free of debts. I will probably have to use their service again someday.

I probably blame myself, but for Freedom Debt Relief to take 24% of my enrolled debt plus $9.95 a month for 36 months seems rather high considering that the companies I owe are now willing to reduce my debt by half. I wasn’t told about these fees or I may have reconsidered which company to go with

The majority of my debt has been phone communication with the credit cards and there has been very little communication with Freedom Debt Relief. I have settled a couple of my debts with little help from this.

I am definitely not as stressed over my debt situation. Freedom Debt is working effectively to get my debt resolved. They are always available when I have an issue from a creditor. I realize that I have a way to go before I’m debt free but with Freedom Debt I’m truly on my way to debt freedom.

Check my file, it should tell you everything you need to know. I will share the only good experience I had was with Michael **. I spent hours with 5 customer service agents that could not explain why the issue I was having. I was either told, "I don’t know" or "Your issue requires a manager but I’ve been putting your problem in your notes in your file." When I would call again to get an update on the situation I was told, "No notes are on your file." I was told my issue needed manager approval only to call back for an update and was told, "Nothing has been sent to management. We don’t even had any notes in your file that anything needed approval."
I was asked if I could have management call me. We would set a time to talk, and nobody would ever call. It took me posting a negative review that I left on Trustpilot for anyone to even care about my issues. Finally Michael ** came into it and was very helpful and I could tell he actually cared about my issue. The best thing he did was tell me straight up Freedom made some mistakes that led to unfortunate events to happen. So thank you Michael.

I was incredibly stressed and digging myself a much deeper hole with my credit card debt until I came across Freedom Debt Relief. It is not a quick fix and it’s hard to make the adjustment to not having your credit cards to fall back on but the amount of money they’re saving me and the reduced stress has been invaluable. I don't have to do much but keep them informed about collectors and make my regular deposits - they do everything else! I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to sign up for their program.

Everyone I have being dealing with has been understanding, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The wait times on the phone have also been very short. Updated on 06/11/2025: FDR is helping me get my bills paid and bring my credit score up. My bills have been reduced to mostly half of what I owe. I'm glad that I pick them for assistance. It has helped to ease my mind knowing that I will be represented correctly. The bi-weekly payments have made it easier to maintain my lifestyle and also pay my bills. The automatic payment method makes sure that I don't forget to pay them or get a late fee.

I am not sure how exactly to check my progress, only know I am making some. Since starting this process, some of my credit cards have contacted me to help resolve my debit. The only thing I wished was that Freedom Debit contacted them all to let them know I was going through this process.

So I’ve been in the program less than a year and I already have 2 debts resolved. One of the companies was trying to sue me and FDR’s partner McCarthy Law handled the case so I didn’t have to go to court at all and that case has been completely resolved. It’s such a relief to be in this program because I was so overwhelmed with financial stress and now it’s like a weight has been lifted. This is THE BEST program and best decision I’ve made on my journey to becoming debt free.

When you check your account and there is a ton of money sitting there and then you check the balances of settlements and they could pay off things but instead just let it sit there, it’s frustrating. You ask questions, they don’t answer your questions. They let two of my accounts go to court after I asked if they could push them forward. At this point, I will be done soon so I’m just going with it.

The first 17 months I was a client with FDR everything was good. I spoke with them via telephone regularly. Every document that was sent to me by my creditors I IMMEDIATELY MAILED to FDR. Then, in February, 2024 I was served with notice of a pending lawsuit by a creditor. I attached a letter and MAILED the suit paperwork. I heard nothing. In March I called FDR and again MAILED the lawsuit paperwork. FDR’s excuse? “Well, we don’t always get our mail.” Now? The mailbox is still posted on their website, so it must be valid, right? It seems they only accept paperwork via pdf, posted on “your client dashboard.” Really? I’m 77 yrs old. Think I know how to do that? Do they care? Nope. I am now working with LLG Legal to try to settle TWO lawsuits. My financial life is in jeopardy at this point.

I am beyond grateful for FDR and how much they have helped me. After I lost my brother I went on a spending craze and they really helped me dig my way out. After a year of dedicated and consistent payments I was able to qualify for the Achieve Loan and bring my credit score back up and in good standing, settling all of my debts and closing them out. Not to mention their invaluable help with my creditor calls and court notices. All I had to do was upload my documents and they took care of the rest. Forever grateful for FDR helping me to get to the light at the end of the tunnel. Recommend them to anyone who is in the same boat that I was in.
