I am very near my first settlement. The staff is always very efficient and helpful on the phone. I have the utmost of confidence in FDR. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone struggling with more than $10000 in consumer debt. I am grateful that FDR takes all of the pressure off of me when dealing with creditors. Just knowing that I no longer have to take creditor calls makes it all worthwhile.

I cannot say enough good things about FDR! I was very scared in doing this but I was even more scared when I turned around and saw what was behind me! So I took the big leap and I am sure thankful I did! FDR has been there for me every step of the way. When I have needed a question answered they answered it. When I felt unsure of myself they explained what needed to be done and why it was being done. I would recommend FDR to anyone who is in a bad place and needs help! They have made, settlements for me and are working hard to help me out of debt. Even had to use their lawyers with a lawsuit. They are a, fantastic service. Have been very happy and satisfied. They are always pleasant and helpful when I have to call them. I will be out of debt in 2 years when my husband retires. Before that I was paying fees and my balances weren't going down. Meh, your rates are too high and you dont work fast enough. If you would wait to take your money my problem would be done already and you would have a steady bill for the next few years from me for the fees. Please just settle my last 2 accounts so my credit will start to go up and I may change my rating.

Freedom Debt Relief has been an excellent option for us. Our debt is being paid off far more quickly than it would have ever been possible for us to manage on our own. FDR made everything easy to understand. Accessing My Dashboard gave me peace of mind. If it hadn't been for my lack of funds every month to maintain My Dedicated Account, I would not have withdrawn from the Program. Life is never certain. I just must take it one day at a time. Updated on 07/19/2020: Last May, I had been with Freedom for two years. They've helped me with $26,000 worth of credit card bills. I was doing good with the program until I got laid off. I got two more credit card bills to go but I had to reduce my payments. That slowed everything down. Other than that, I've never had any trouble with them. A woman in the office was asking the questions about Freedom Debt Relief and I told her they worked pretty good so she checked into it herself.
Original Review: Everything is going well so far, but I really don't agree with a 24 month payment plan. I did like that you can stop payment for emergency. I would like to do that every 4 month to catch up on the smaller bills if possible. Please inform me if we can schedule something like that. Thank you.

Very friendly and Frank made it so easy. I felt he was very helpful with our decision to start our journey of becoming debt free. I hope in four years to be debt free and just wish I had done it a year ago. The health insurance has robbed us of our savings and our free money each month. I can't believe how much my credit rating has dropped. When I received the information in the mail I was under the impression that you were lending me money at a lower rate to pay off my debit and I would pay you back. Instead none of the bills were paid and my credit is now trash and I'm still receiving phone calls from creditors. I had no idea this would be the process.

I wasn’t sure if I qualified for debt relief since it was my obligation to pay back the creditors that I borrowed money from. Taqiy was understanding and helpful. Explained their settlement plan and that I qualified for times of hardship due to medical issues. Now I can be out of debt as soon as 48 months.

Adam helped me to consolidate my bills today. He communicated all the necessary information regarding the program and how it worked. He went into full detail on the debt relief program so that l completely understood all. I feel as though a heavy weight has been lifted. There is a plan l have to follow and can chart my progress. l love a plan! I can pay more each month to shorten the time of my program. There is a personal dashboard you can refer to. Everything is clear cut and easy to understand. I also have legal protection and was advised to give the Credit Card companies the phone number of the debt relief program. I was given the phone number of customer service in case Adam was away.
Adam and his team really care and understand the difficulties life can sometimes bring. I highly advise you to work with Adam because of his knowledge, professionalism and caring nature. He made the process so easy - no stress at all. If you use him, please give my name as a referral. You can even earn a financial bonus. I am a client as of today and l am very picky about who l deal with when it comes to financial matters. Adam, you get a 9 on the companies' scale. One is the lowest and nine being the highest. Over three years ago, I consulted and joined the thousands of consumers, structure debts instead of filing for bankruptcy. The explanations and offers were great. Here is the summary. As advertized, help in reducing debts by negotiating individual creditors. get debt free quick in 3 years. Then raise credit scores. Also be free from litigations. The promise of debt free in 3 years, was a lie, and, misleading concept. I was promised that by January 2018 I will be debt free. False. It looks like I still have over 6 thousand dollars in debt and still to be settled debt with 6 creditors.
This negotiating of debt is basically a hoodwinked ploy by FDR there is minimal negotiation ON YOUR BEHALF BY FDR. Let's look at one of my debts. The original debt was 450, but because it was not closed and negotiated properly, the interests grew and finally the debt became 520. Now comes your FDR, instead of negotiating for your interest at the original debt of 450, they negotiated for you at 520... and claimed 20% reduction in debt. They claimed the credit scores will rise fast. WRONG AGAIN, it was my actions, my payments that made the scores higher without FDR help. I recently recieved a disturbing call from a creditor agent, attempting prosecution. This is the last straw. I am out. I will answer creditors on my own. Too much reliance on credit restructuring companies that are in cohorts with creditors AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE. One should consider bankruptcy as a better solution.

Got good settlements and things were rolling then was randomly sued by a creditor. I had been in a structured settlement through FDR... Things went south and have been unable to get any answer for 6 months and still in a lawsuit over account I have in good standing with Freedom and making payments on for over a year.

I have 2 accounts remaining on my FDR program. I have found out today that in the 32 months that I've been enrolled, NO ONE has made contact with one of the remaining creditors... EVER!! And to add insult to it...the account has been sent to the "Legal" Dept. of the creditor so...it looks like I am now looking at being SUED! I trusted FDR that they would manage my accounts but they have lied to me over & over. I had to do my OWN investigating into my accounts. FDR lies and deceives its customers.

The representative I worked with made me consolidate 2 debts that my husband was paying for so that I would have enough of a balance for the FDR program to be approved. I reluctantly agreed to this. I recently was sued by one of my larger debtors and ended up having to settle for the full amount. I had to pay extra fees to NLLG, the corresponding legal group and then FDR pretty much wipes out my account with their 23% fees. So now I have essentially nothing left in my account for them to work with my other 3 debtors and have to build this back again, but with 50% less funds each month as that will be going to the debtor that sued me. I wish the rep were more clear on FDR's fees and how that affects the accounts because I would have never signed up for this program if I knew the full extent. The customer service never fully answers my questions. I cannot recommend this program.

I trust the process in the fact that debt relief is necessary. I have allowed myself to be so far in debt that I see no way out without some help. Not really sure that this is the only remedy, but besides filing for bankruptcy, I don't see any other way and still be able to pay off the balance of these bills. The amount of the interest is so outrageous it seems that I will never get out of debt unless I pay it all off all at once.

After the death of my husband, I had considerable debt and was falling behind. My children suggested a consolidated loan. Your company was the first I looked at and I called to see how it worked. Paris ** (?) was very clear and helpful and I signed up. I was able to stop worrying about paying the eight credit cards and had a once a month payment taken from my bank account. This was less than the individual payments. Paris guided me through the initial paperwork (no big deal) and explained how I could follow the account and payments online. I've been making my monthly payments and nothing has happened. I've turned over the law firms and collections and I see nothing has been done with my accounts. If you want answers you have to call and make sure you get the person's name you are talking to. I had two representatives that didn’t do their job thoroughly and couldn’t give me direct answers. Then all of a sudden I got a representative that said all the right things and did exactly what should had been done months prior! Know what you are getting into and read everything! I wish I could remember his name cause he deserves an award!

I signed up with Freedom back in June of 2017. After 2 months my first debt was resolved. Ok that's good but by November they hadn't solved any more debts and we had paid over $900 to them. When I called to find out what was going on they said there were fees, that's understandable, but by my calculations they paid a debt for $287. So that means the remaining money went to fees. They charge you for calling in the payment for the debt, they charge you to send the debt collectors a check and then whatever other fees they charge. Which by the way if you ask what other fees there are they can't tell you. To make matters even more worse the company they settled with got another collection company to try to get the other half of the debt from me. I called Freedom to tell them that and they told me that I needed to figure that out on my own because that wasn't their problem.
I finally cancelled with them and only got refunded $58. They are scam artists and I wouldn't wish for anyone to use that company. They sweet talk you into thinking it's a good deal and also when you tell them you would rather not discuss how you got so far into debt they criticize you until you tell them why you're in that situation when that really isn't their business, their business is helping you get out of that situation. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY...

Please do not think that this service is an alternative to managing your debt. Freedom mishandled my account time and time again. Ignoring legal summons and settling other accounts ahead of the most urgent ones even after persistent communication with Freedom advanced collections dept. After one year of constant struggle I had to take out bankruptcy and should have never wasted my time with Freedom Financial.

The process was pretty easy to get through and my representative was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. I used another debt consolidation service in the past but this one seems to have better options to get my debt paid off faster and at lower balances. They basically cut my total amount owed in half and it seems easy to stick to my goal.

IF you are in as dire of a financial predicament as I was (i.e. barely able to make the minimum monthly payments on your credit cards), then FDR is a reputable and trustworthy organization to go with. They forewarned me about all of the fees and the hit that my credit score would take. Every member that I was in contact with was friendly & helpful and the tools in which you can access them and your account are very professional. I was entirely committed to making good on my debts as quickly & as efficiently as possible, hopefully without collection agencies bothering me at home or at work, and FDR made this possible.
After months of making my payments on time, a sister company of FDR, called Consolidation Plus, approached me with an offer of a loan to fast-track the settlement of my debts. Again, being in such a bad financial position & worrying about actions that creditors might take against me to collect, I felt like this was the best choice for me. I finalized my account & time with FDR by now making loan payments through Consolidation Plus.
Although my early experiences with this new company have been pleasant, the terms of my new loan are somewhat comparable to the exorbitant fees I was once paying to the credit card companies I got into trouble with in the first place (i.e. a 23% interest rate). I have been assured by Consolidation Plus that as long as I keep making my payments in full & on time, my credit score will begin to recover and I will have the opportunity to refinance my loan through them or somebody else for a (hopefully) lower interest rate in the near future.
I am hoping that my trust in them isn't too naive, but I do believe that this will someday be true, especially since the costs of the new loan have me living precariously from paycheck to paycheck. Again, the advice of FDR and now Consolidation Plus has been very helpful in assuaging any of my fears and misgivings and I WOULD recommend their services to others who are in such bleak financial straits. They were every helpful peace of mind. Andrew was very informative on how the program work. The plans that I was set up with work for my budget. But Andrew has not call me back yet, check with the customers SERVICE and they told me that they have not got my file or I haven't got in the systems yet.

I join the program because of health expenses. I am retired and they help my family get back on our feet. They helped me through the process and explained how everything would work. We are debt free except for a mortgage and car payment and in less time than we thought. I would do it again but I shouldn't have too. I would have given 5 stars except my credit rating went down which they explain to me. They only thing I haven't gotten is a plan to rebuild my credit rating.

When dealing with debt consolidation, I expected fast talkers and a lot of hidden fees. However, I was happily proved wrong. Chris was patient and made sure to explain everything I needed to know and has made the process incredibly easy. He was friendly, made conversation about my life and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. I never felt pressured to agree to anything and whenever I needed more information or time to think about things, he was more than happy to take the time I needed. I enrolled in FDR when in financial hardship and was left in worse financial hardship and in more debt than I began. FDR charged me an enormous amount of fees for debt they failed at negotiating at all with one creditor. They left me to negotiate my own debt with another and then falsely informed me about a consolidation loan from their “sister” company Consolidation Plus. Leaving me with more debt and a higher interest rate than when I started. The customer service was impossible and very discouraging. I know they have recordings of the false information that led me to agree to the loan, yet they have avoided me. Taking advantage of me the way they did was morally wrong and should be illegal. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I just wish there was some relief for me. I will be paying this loan off for years to pay their ‘fees’ that they did not earn.

I called and advise the representative that I spoke with that I needed to change my payment to a lower payment due to a change in finances. Before then I had been paying on time. He advise me that it can only be for 3 months. I was the one who requested extra $200 payment in addition to the already 360.00 that I had been paying. I was told when I signed up that I could change this by calling if there was a change in my situation. All the rep would say is you still owe us the money for our fees. Which I had/have every intention on paying. When I begin to ask questions he became annoyed.
I do believe this is a great program but it is discouraging to be treated poorly while you're already experiencing a personal hardship and divorce (which I mentioned but he could care less). The 1st representative said when I signed on the program that your bills are behind that is why you called us. I said no I called because I was over extended in debt and had been paying my bills on time but was advise to stop paying so that I could fall behind in order for them to negotiate a settlement. Again I think it is a great program but some of the staff need to work on their customer service skills. My true experience. :(

I have received many to the point irritating phone calls from creditors and being told that they don't deal with for profits to one saying if I didn't deal with them that my account would immediately go to collections. It would seem that these calls could be averted if you were to call them to let them know you are representing me. After all you are a for profit organization and for the 13+k you will be paid, I would appreciate those calls being made. Thanks.
