Freedom Debt Relief has taken a lot off my shoulders and my mind. When call they always helpful with my questions. They always keep me up to date on the process they are making to clear all my creditors. I am happy with their service.

Peggy was very informative and reassuring about the benefits of this program. I’m looking forward to results in the upcoming years. I still have questions, but have them answered regularly by calling and using my account. I’m still getting phone calls and messages from my creditor, but I’m trusting the process as later out by Peggy. I’m hopeful to be out of debt sooner rather than later. Thank you.

After researching and studying different Debt Relief programs, I found Freedom to be the one I wanted to contact. Once I did, my questions and concerns were answered honestly and quickly by Jack **. Everything was explained to me on the phone, when to expect calls, to stop payment, when my new payment would start, also went over the numbers so I would know how much I would be paying, how much I'd be saving, and it can be done in 28 month instead of 5 yrs.

Where do I start? I had several credit cards that I needed debt relief on. At first, I called Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) to get information on how to do debt a consolidation loan, as I didn't feel right about defaulting and not paying all of what I owed. As soon as I requested info about debt consolidation, the representative began to steer me to and sell me on defaulting and settling my debt instead of a consolidation loan. After getting sold on this I had agreed to settle my debts. A little background on me, I have always paid my debts, my credit score was 740 at the time and I was having a hard time paying my cards due to some unforeseen events.

Tiffany ** was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions, and concerns. I so happy to be working with her. Very friendly, caring, understanding, got back to me right away. I'm glad to have found a great company to work with for the next few years. I'm so excited to not be so stressed out all the time. Thank you.

I was very pleased with Hannah who was pleasant, informed and more than willing to answer my questions. She made me comfortable with the position I am unfortunate to be in at the moment. Hopefully the entire process will be as successful as the initial one was and the conclusion a happy one.

I had over acquired 22 credit cards & spending had gotten out of hand. I couldn't keep up with payments. I was over $43,000 in debt. It was a nightmare until I found National Debt Relief. My application was accepted, and I was let step-by-step through their process. They negotiated with my creditors to lower my owed balances. An affordable repayment plan was set up for me so that instead of having to file for bankruptcy, I'm able to see the light of day again. I feel as though the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. Needless to say, I highly recommend this company.

The whole process was great. Brad was very professional and understanding. He gave great customer service. He actually made me feel like a human being and not some low life person that was having trouble paying my bills. He never gave up on me. He emailed me everyday with results of the progress of my debts.

I really like the way Andrew guide me thru the process and I truly like the way he handle my situation and guide me thru the payments and what to explain. Everything that would take place step by step each person told me.

I don't recall been told of negative results for credit score if I signed up. I can live better with lower monthly payment but credit score has been hit hard and I can't borrow $1.00 anymore!!! My credit score was in mid 700s now at 517!! Can't qualify for VA loan! How can I fix this?

I want to say that when I made the call Back to the debt consultant she was very helpful, concerned and also understanding. She told me all about the program. Any questions I asked, were answered. She was very kind and patient. She made everything go very smoothly. And it all worked out. In very little time. I appreciate, and I am satisfy with having a settlement. Where I do not have the interest charges added in, that does not help me to get out of my debt. I appreciate being able to pay a little less and can save some money. This is a lot of help to me. Jerome did a good job addressing my concerns based on the CFPB allegations regarding the ability to negotiate with Chase and Amex which I had read refused to deal with debt management companies and then basically told the customer you’re on your own: here are suggested talking points: not the promised service at all yet held to its entire fee without adjusting for the creditors it could not approach.

I am so happy with the service I experienced today. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Excellent service. Steven was very helpful and nice. I am very happy with my plan and hope all ends well. This is such a wonderful service to office and more people should take advantage of this.

We started with Kathleen who indicated to us, that, when we joined FDR for credit card debt that it would be settled on our debts at one time and this would be the amount we would pay $391.00 on the 4th and 14th every month for up to 4 or 5 years. Also, we would not be sued. I used to work for attorneys which is why I wanted to make sure papers were not filed. (small town - very embarrassing). We have now been sued for three accounts and I think more to follow. On one of those judgments we had to borrow money which was not easy since our credit had been destroyed while waiting for this process. Another one had to Start in November, 1/2 payment and December it was a full payment.

The second, literally, the second I hit "Send" after putting my contact information into the computer, my phone rang. At the other end of the line was a calm, confident voice that could sense I was embarrassed and defeated. Wes, my Debt Angle, put me at ease and within minutes had worked up a doable solution to a problem I had been struggling with for months. At one point in the process, we were at a point where Wes had to do something on his end that was going to take a little time. He said he would call us back shortly, and he actually did! He provided all of the steps for me to take that were so easy to understand. He knew the answers to questions I had before I even asked them as he understood what I was going through.

It has taken this long to answer about my dealings with this Co. At first it went pretty good, the bartering part I was really impressed. They did (I thought) a good job. Then I had my taxes done and all the money I saved was gone. Several of the companies had sent in income forms with a huge amount of earnings of the money they saved which made me earning 8000.00 more. So I really didn't save anything but a big headache.

This was a scary step for me. My sponsor was fantastic. It was important to her that I go into this without concerns. She achieved her goal. I signed the agreement and I am excited about my future. I know in a few short years this will be behind me. I am 70 years old so this was a big decision for me. I feel this was the answer for me.

When I first contacted Freedom, I was assured my program would be finished six Months ago. They now say it will be completed in January 2019. I think they are charging me too much. My brother had to go through this with more debt because of a divorce, and finished 18 Months sooner. Will never do business or recommend Freedom to anyone!

Open and honest about the process and what to expect from creditors going forward. Seem to cover all bases from what I will save what I will pay during course of agreement and how I can legally protect myself. They are very polite people, always answers questions, also keeps you up to date on your account. If having issues online they will talk you through it every step of the way. Never had any problem with them either online or by calling them. Also they direct the calls as needed to help you through whatever you need to be done.

Originally I was relieved when I began to settle my debts, I noticed errors in the accounts that were on my list of repayments. I did not invite Freedom to attempt settlement with a few of them. It took months to have them removed. Secondly, they have been taking the correct amount of funds from my account; however, they are withdrawing prior to the funds being in the account and causing approximately 6 to 7 NSF charges, Now this has added to my debts! No one listens!

I been with Freedom Debt Relief for over a year. They have help me with several of my debts. I did know what I was going to do. I was so in debt and I was trying to pay them but there was not enough money to go around every month to pay my bills but Freedom Debt Relief help me with that. What I really like about them is whenever I call they get someone to help me with any question I have for them. They don't put me off on anyone that could help me with my problem and they have got my Debt taken care of. Thank you Freedom Debt Relief.

I was not told that my credit would be ruined when I signed up with FDR. Some Credit cards, that were not included in the debt settlement programs, have been closed...others have reduced my credit limits...others (open accounts) have refused to allow me to purchase needed washer and dryer. I think your new customers should be informed their credit would be adversly affected When signing up. One of my creditors INCLUDED in program has so far, received no payment to settle my debt, although FDR is receiving more than $380 per month. I guess I misunderstood the guidelines of the program.

I was extremely happy with the ease and quickness of the application process, however I was hoping to have more accounts settled by now. I've been in the program for 6 months and 1 of my 5 accounts have been settled.

My advisor was thorough and confident in his abilities to help solve my debt issues. He listened attentively to what I had to say. He offered advice, explained intentions, and covered my concerns. I would like to commend FDR on their diligence and hard work on my disaster of an account. Dealing with Scott was extremely helpful. I was nervous going into this but didn't know what else to do. He explained everything in a very personable way which made me feel very welcome. This program will help me with my future goals of becoming a homeowner sooner than I could have expected.

Four years ago I was $40k in debt. I was staring bankruptcy in the face when I received a communication from Cecilia with FDR. I was extremely skeptical. I prayed and went ahead and enrolled but less than 24 hrs I canceled my enrollment. I received a call from Cecilia asking me what was the problem. I expressed that I did not feel right about the decision and I went from being a customer to being more of a friend to her. She spoke to me as if she had known me for years. She was calm but very forceful and convincing that I was making a grave mistake. She expressed being a believer in Jesus and felt that it was God that brought FDR in my path in the first place.

Tony was excellent in answering all our questions, this feels good in knowing our debt accounts are in good hands! Helen and myself had been scratching our heads trying to figure out a solution to our debt. We were watching TV and seen the ad and decided to give you guys a call, so glad we did. We can rest a little easier now!

I would not recommend this company. They failed to contact and follow through with all of the debtors listed on my initial application. My debts with this company are complete and paid in full, but I'll be paying for another year with two other accounts that were unable to be settled by Freedom Debt Relief.

They never call. I get these automated emails, but have not worked directly with anyone since started the program. If I was not so far into the program, I would definitely leave. Not satisfied at all. Read your agreement very closely. Many, many fees associated with this that are not discussed.

I was very anxious about this decision. What a great bunch of people they are. All my questions were answered, I was told what to expect during this process. I use to have to work overtime to pay all my bills but now I have more time to spend with my family.

Given 6 accounts to settle, I paid off 3, FDS is working on one by forming it out to a third party. Why am I paying FDS? I also paid off the only card I kept open (Bankcard M/C) by settling on paying about 1/3 of balance, so why did I need you?

The process was a lot easier and faster than I thought it would be! They really try to help, the best way possible. I feel I've made the best choice here. This will help immensely – Financially as well as mentally! So much weight has been lifted off my Chest. I feel as if now Look forward to start a new chapter of my life.

I call the advisor they do not call back. I had a settlement offer from Sleepy's for a 5th of what was owed. And they did not follow through but told me they can make it lower. Now I have a series of debt collectors harassing me because those debt collectors will not call the advisor.

So far, so good! They're on the case! Debts are starting to be resolved! Keep up the good work! They are always available to answer my questions. They also keep me well informed. They are also very efficient. What more can I say?

I am very happy with my plan. I still can't use the client dashboard. But I believe I am still getting messages through to you all. Thank ever so much. I do get nervous and depressed when receiving registered mailings, but I think they get received even though I can't use the dashboard.

They have already settled with one of my accounts, and will be settling soon with the other. My graduation is 2020. They are really professional and handle everything and more. I've recommended a few people, and tell them the most advice, be patient. Thanks again for all and continue to do.

It has been over a year and one of my accounts has not been settled. I get no correspondence from Freedom. No communication. Unable to talk to someone. It took 20 minutes to get through to a supervisor and the supervisor put me on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on me. 30 minutes on the phone and nothing was accomplished. Supervisor was worthless. Could not tell me why I have a lien filed by Target against me. They state no payment has been made. I still have a creditor calling me. It’s Been a nightmare. Thinking of moving my debt to Lending Tree. Documents I have sent in as requested have not been handled. I use to be able to call and get through to a human. Now I verify info and then have to verify again with the human 'cause they said they did not get it. Use to put in my phone number and person would come on. Getting too big?! Would not refer this process to anyone.

Have sent over via fax, email and regular mail a new debt to have added but have had all kinds of problems in trying to set it up. Seems like nobody ever seems to receive the documents I have sent. I don't know what the problem is. Have been trying for months. Not happy at all.

They started out just fine but then they got to our last account and dropped the ball. Nothing was going on. This went on for several years. They sat on about $12,000.00 of our money and didn’t settle the account in spite of repeated phone calls and emails from us. Now they have settled that account but are ignoring my pleas to return the balance of our money. Handy way to earn interest.

I’ve been with FDR for a couple years now, and I have had a wide range of experiences. Initially, when I enrolled, my advisor told me that I would be covered for all legal issues which may arise from failing to pay my creditors. Shortly after enrollment I received an email in which a monthly fee was solicited for legal protection. I called back and spoke to the same agent who enrolled me. I inquired why I was receiving the email if I was covered. She again assured me that I was covered and to ignore the email. Needless to say, I was sued several months later by Bank of America and had no legal protection. I have since enrolled. Next, wanting to speed up my program, I increased my bimonthly deposit over $300 a month. I was assured when I did this that if money became tight again I could reduce back to the original amount without a problem. I have been told this by no less than 2 agents when I have spoken with them on the phone.

Sorry, but this program for has been a complete failure. I am putting in over $600.00 a month and getting nothing but a downward spiraling credit report. I thought your company would make payment on each creditor to keep me in good credit standing. But you seem to say nothing to the creditor and let me suffer. I can not get any credit cards anymore, no one will accept my credit. Are you going to talk to any of my creditors? I guess not. Give me some hope in something of your program. I do not see any at all. Will I get any feedback on this?

Don't use them at all. It was a huge MISTAKE. They don't keep their word, they are argumentative. My first experience was definitely a Nightmare. RUN. Don't go with Accredited Debt Relief also known as Freedom Debt Relief...because of a job loss the money in the savings account wasn't going to be there. I spoke to them and told them that. They tried to take it out anyway which caused me a 29 dollar overdraft fee, they said it was their mistake because I have emails and texts where I spoke to a rep and explained the situation.. Needless to say that they didn't keep their word and refund the overdraft fee and was very argumentative and nasty so I paid the overdraft fee and closed the account and ended the contract with Accredited Debt Relief aka Freedom Debt Relief. This is a horrible experience I don't want anyone else to go through. Just FYI choose another debt relief company. You've been warned.

I have been so pleased with Freedom Debt Relief. They have always answered my questions fully and to my satisfaction. And they are totally honest with me about all of my different credit card companies. Recently I heard that Discover cards aren't very forthcoming and negotiating my debt. So I called Freedom relief and asked a customer service representative if he had heard the same thing or if he had dealt with them previously. He explained to me that they were hard to negotiate with and that if I could get a better deal negotiating with them to try it. So I did.

All my settlements are going great at this point. My dashboard says all my debt will be clear and paid as long as I keep depositing the set amount. I will be debt free on November of this year. Which turns out to be a lot sooner than the estimate at the start of my joining the program.

This was a very scary step and Debra really helped me feel more comfortable with my decision. She was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Confident this will be a positive step in my financial future!

From the start in 2016 to the present time I've had nothing but excellent service, friendly and competent help where and when needed. It's a little scary at first, but, has been a much better experience than bankruptcy by far.

My experienced from Freedom Debt Relief Is, so far so good. Customer Service Representatives are very helpful and answers my inquiry right at that moment. FDR updates me every now and then through email and texts. Rest assure I will recommend FDR to my friends.

For a company that claims to help overcome problems with debt they seem to create similar problems. They take their money up front so as you make payments to your accounts so they can make negotiations they take their money off the too in huge chunks preventing your account from accumulating and thereby subjecting you to more calls and fees from your creditors. Example: Month payment of 570...370 goes to their fees, etc leaving and another $25 or so for the legal assistance and administrative fees... How will your account grow attached this rate. Why not evenly spread a small portion of the debts over the duration of a year!

It's a good system. The people are very helpful and informative. I'm glad I did it. ONLY one negative in my opinion it takes a long time. I understand if I deposit more money into the account it would work faster but I can't afford more. I'd do it again if I had to. Hopefully never will have to.

We were never late on debt payments, but had to resort to minimum payments a lot because we used credit cards for repairs after a landslide. "Freedom Debt Relief" came to our rescue. They negotiate with the debtors to pay-off our credit card debt and bring peace of mind to us. It will take a few years, but way shorter time than if we kept up the way we were doing. I'm so glad I found them and I appreciate their customer service, which is always kind and upbeat.

I paid over $10,000 to FDR and NLLG services. I was sued and NLLG did nothing. They claimed they saved me $2500, but in reality it cost me over $3000 MORE. I even talked to THEIR lawyer and they told me that NLLG (for FDR) NEVER negotiate with them, because they always lose. So I talked to the lawyer and then the bank and saved myself almost $2400 from the interest accrual (which NLLG nor FDR ever told me about). I DID MY OWN NEGOTIATION after FDR & NLLG was out of the picture (I fired them).

I'm so extremely pleased with FDR and how much they've helped me get back on my financial path. Best decision I've ever made, though reluctant at first, but I saw results immediately. It's something less to worry about when someone is on your side working to set your life on a course to financial freedom. I'm nearing the end of my debt thanks to FDR. So much better than bankruptcy.

I was just sent a letter from the IRS for the year 2016 where two of my paid off debts reported me to the IRS and the amount not covered by the agreement, as a bad debt. I just sent the IRS a check for 1,467.00. Does that sound like a good deal? I should have claimed bankruptcy. Now I'm waiting for the hammer to fall on all the other accounts. I contacted Freedom but they were of no help. VERY DISSATISFIED.

I used to have account with TD Bank about 10 years ago but I realized that they keep playing games with me at depositing times & withdraw times to show me that my account goes insufficient amount of money (much of the times they show me I've a negative account for less than $2) to collect from me $35 & they keep repeating this subject for more than 3 times every month until a friend of mine mentioned on Facebook that he likes TD Bank.

It seems that the Litigation Department gets involved when a creditor is dissatisfied with settlement offer. Litigation seems to favor the creditor and always wants to increase deducted bank payment agreed to originally. Most people accept this program because it's a reasonable answer financially to settle. Most of us are already at our financial limit, especially if you rely on Social Security. I feel I was misled to believe that the monthly amount I pay and the time period mentioned for payoff would not vary.

Freedom Debt Relief has helped me immensely!! Soon I will be debt free all with affordable payments that have allowed me to comfortably stay in control of my finances. I highly recommend them to everyone!!! They have settled several large amounts for less than half of what owe, collectors have stopped calling me!!!

I had ask for this account to be worked on and paid an extra payment, that didn't have to give, for help on this account that was taking me to court, I was told that contact with Mariner Finance would be taken care of. No contact was made, I was taken to court and made to pay off the account, and all GUS, who would not tell me his last name, at Freedom could do for me was, I didn't have enough in my account!!!! Why tell me you would make contact with Mariner and then not do it? That is lying to me, does Freedom condone GUS lying to their clients???? I had to spend money with Freedom and Mariner I didn't have to spend, more debt thanks Freedom Debt Relief...

It was very hard to pick up the phone to call about getting my debt resolved. I knew it would be a long shot in getting a consolidation loan, due to my income/debt ratio. However, Jose took time to talk to me and get to know me (the best he could through our phone conversation) and heard my story of the financial impact that has hit me over the last few years (with the loss of alimony, child support and significant drop in income due to a change of jobs in the last year).

You folks are ok but when I was trying to get info on how much more it would be to add 2 more bills all I got was a hassles and it would cost 100.00 more dollars and so on. You got me living on 600 a month as it is. There no compassion at all. I would not be in this mess if I did not got sick.

This company has been wonderful and has lowered out debt by a large amount. I am so thankful for this and will be very careful the rest of my life that we do not get into debt struggles again. We decided to go to Freedom Debt Relief due to one credit card that fell behind and we just could not catch it up. We had to turn over all our credit cards and store cards in order to enter into this program. Our credit rating went from 700s (even with the one credit card past due) to now in the low 500s. All of our cards are in some form of debt collection and our phone became our mortal enemy. This is not a way to get your debt under control. Save yourself some money. Call the credit card companies yourself. Work out a payment plan. At our age, we will never recover our credit from this.

Friendly helpful assistance. I have been the system almost 1/1/2 yrs. Couldn’t be happier. I am clearly on path for my retirement years free of debt. I follow my payments online. It’s so easy. I recommend FDR to anyone that wants to listen.

One half a year into the process, I'm pleased with the progress so far. Everything represented to me has been accurately fulfilled. Phone call for info about my account - Spoke to a representative for over 45 minutes. Gave me the wrong information. Wasn’t very pleasant. Said I wasn’t very pleasant. I try to be but she mislead me in what she told me. Call back. Got another representative. Also didn’t help me but did passed me on finally after talking to her for approximately 30 minutes to a supervisor and the supervisor admitted to me that I had gotten the wrong information. My grief was that it took me so long to get the right information.

This company has given me the greatest sense of relief... Got in over my head with my credit cards, and slowly but surely I am being pulled out of the mess I created. Overall, to date, FDR has been negotiating and settling our credit card debt slowly but steadily. But beware... we were told before committing that we would not have a problem getting government college loans for our child - this is NOT the case. You must be prepared to let your credit completely tank and not expect any decent interest rates or unsecured loans until long after the program has ended and you rebuild your credit - which could be many years. The program can and will work as long as you are prepared and adequately informed - which we were NOT. We asked questions about college loans over and over, and we don’t know if the agent didn’t know, or just wanted to “make the sale”, but we were specifically told we should have no problem getting a college loan. So beware and proceed with extreme caution!

I was reluctant to sign up for this program because One, I have always paid my accounts on time. Two, I didn't trust these type of programs. After much prayer and thought and the fact that I was financially sinking and bankruptcy was out of the question for me I signed on with Freedom Debt Relief. I was connected with Sherry ** and she put me at easy with my decision to enroll in the program. So far everything she claimed Freedom would do has been totally honest and correct. I joined Freedom Debt Relief March of 2017. I have paid off 4 credit cards. Will pay off another in June then another in Oct. I had a problem with Bank of America not willing to settle. But it is now taken care of.

I would recommend FDR to anyone having severe credit problems. They have been doing a great job on my behalf. They answer any questions I have and respond quickly to any of my emails. They are upfront with all their dealings. This is great company with exceptional employees.

This program has not helped me at all other than paying off one bill, I have had 2 court cases against me while on this program and they didn't help me neither, but continuously ask for more money so they can negotiate with other creditors. I will never, ever use this company again, I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Updated on 01/28/2021: I became a client of FDR in January/February of 2017 with a total of 22 debtors. I am now as of January 2021 FREE and clear of ALL of my debts through my FDR program! It feels good to be debt free. FDR folks are great to have to clear up debts that were to much to handle against the income that I receive. Thank You again FDR for your help.

I have over $2000.00 in the account and the two collectors has only a few more payments to be paid off. There is enough in the account to go ahead and be paid off and more collectors can be contact to make arrangements to be paid.
