Overall I am happy w/ my experience with FDR. I hate I had to go to Consolidated Plus for funds to handle additional accounts because I feel I am paying more than I have saved in the long run. However, it is what it is. I will be happy to get the LAST Citi account resolved soon. Correspondence has been good and the Litigation Dept did an excellent job for me.

It is difficult to determine how the settlement fees are determined but I feel that they are excessive. The reduction in the amount owed counts as income. Those two factors really hurt me. I understand that there are companies that either do not charge any settlement fees or they charge much less than Freedom. This year, I received several emails from NLLG. They made it seem important and said I would receive a follow up email but none came. I was always encouraged to send any notices to you from any creditors. I always did send them but never received any acknowledgment that any were received. I assume that they were received. It seems like they should have been sent to you or duplicate notices should have been sent. It is my own fault that I am in this situation but you did ask for my experience. Thank you.

I am very satisfied with the service I have received. The only thing that could change is the charges. I think 21% is too high but that's what I signed up for. I think you would get more people to get involved with your program if they didn't have to pay so much.

I have been extremely happy with the services I have been receiving for my debt reduction program. The only thing I would like to see is more flexibility with regard to payments. Unexpected costs arise which sometimes makes it difficult to make a whole or partial payment.

I found that they are very easy to work with. I have less stress about my debt. I don’t have to worry about paying many different people. I have two payments deducted from my account a month. I don’t have to worry about missing a payment. They also meet me updated with my progress! I would recommend.

Freedom Debt Relief has been extremely helpful reducing my debt. I understand my credit rating going down but hopefully, I can build it back up again. Freedom Debt is a very good company. My account was placed into bulk negotiation 3x. When I objected to the third time I was told I was confused or didn’t understand the process. It was because I didn’t understand how repeating the same process was going to have a different result. My account was taken out of bulk negotiation because the creditor couldn’t locate my account. The manager I spoke to told me when that happens FDR contacts me to get whatever information they need. No one contacted me, the account was just added back to bulk negotiation. What was going to change?

I'm a client and was very happy with the answers that were given to me. I had a question about a creditor calling me and was told that we are actually close to settling with that creditor. I had suspected that the card was making one last ditch effort to make me cave and my suspicion was confirmed.

For has settled all my enrolled debts for half or less. One is paid off, one will be paid off this month, one paid off in December and paying on the other two. It has been a great relief to me as I can see the end in sight.

I am glad I chose to pay the extra for lawyer because I have needed them. I do wish that Amanda could have told me that a couple of my debts wouldn't be willing to settle with Freedom Debt. It seems like they would know this as they settle with companies on a daily basis.

The reps of Freedom Debt Relief are very nice. I could always call the rep, I'm mainly dealing with, back if I had any questions going on. I also talked with several different people and they've always been able to help me. After so many months of putting in money, they were able to settle a lot of accounts. They send me text via email to see if I agree to that settlement and if I do, I just send them back an information and they quickly settle it. They just tell me how much I would need to pay a month and if there were any problems at all, they would notify me on any more information they may need. There's three accounts still waiting to be settled but I've settled most accounts at this point.
I just have to do my part because they'll sell off to another company and that company will send me a note or an envelope in the mail saying they bought it so I fax that to them immediately. That kept things straight and going around. Freedom Debt is still taking the same amount out because there's few that I have got settled and they have to see what the amount is gonna be but everything works good. If someone said something to me about needing help, I would recommend them.

I had a family emergency and requested that they change my due date. I was told I would get a response back in two days. Never got that response, money was taken out on the actual due date so I was not able to be with my brother in time of need. The representatives did not care. My bank account was hacked into and money fraudulently deducted. This was a day before Labor Day. I contacted customer service and told them it would be a day or two before I could get a new bank account and was called a liar. The bank could give me a new account that same day. They didn't care that 2 people stole $900 from my account and I barely had money left to pay my rent or live on. They got their money.
The one thing that put me over the edge was I had a very sick kitten that was at death's door and in order to save her life I had to take her to the vet 3 times. I asked if they could change my due date by 4 days. Again I was told to wait two days Then when I called back it was too late. My rent was late my car payment was late but they got paid. I told them I wanted to speak to a supervisor and was told they were too busy. I told them I was thinking of ending my deal with them and got an email from them terminating me because I didn't make payments as agreed and this is bull. When I called them they said they attempted to contact me by phone for 3 days and refused to speak to them yet I only have a cell phone which shows no calls at all from Freedom Financial at all! I am glad they terminated me, cause I don't deal with liars!

When I signed up with you guys, I told you what I could afford to pay a month and was told no problem...well now I will be paying 160 dollars more a month than when I started and with each debt that I'm getting SUED for, it just keep going up. The deal made with Discover was HORRIBLE and I could have made a better deal myself. You were suppose to try and resolve this for me so I WOULDN'T get sued but you are waiting until they have filed a suit against me to do anything. I am going to be paying almost as much now as I was BEFORE I signed up with you. So sadly, you're not helping me much. I should have just let all them sue me then buy the liens for a fraction of what I'm paying. Not totally ready to give up on you...but what do I do when I can't pay the 600 dollars a month? Then I multiply that by the length of time I have to do it and I'm feeling a little uneasy about this.

I agreed to pay a certain amount. I’m not sure how they pick how to pay on first but those are the only ones they contact unless the others are going to sue you. I was under the impression they had a deal with all of the accounts and that you are given a graduation date for a reason. Why give that if you are going to be changing that number all the time. Probably would have chosen a large consolidation loan instead maybe would have had to looked into it but they have that option also but somehow that info is emailed to you and you email them back. Would be great if original payment covered all cost and you pay extra if you can move your graduation date up. I have been into the system for over 2 years and they have only completed 4 accounts now and after deal 3 and 4 they needed more money. People sign up with places like FDR is because of money. If I had more money I would have just paid my accounts myself.

My wife and I have been raising our grandson who has autism and there were some unexpected expenses that came up. We decided that we gotta have some credit cards, try to build credit. And then it got to the point where it was a real struggle for me to pay for them. I called a few debt relief companies and Freedom Debt Relief seem to have a better plan than the others. I got in contact with the Freedom Debt Relief rep and explained to him. Then he put a plan together and asked me if I was okay with that. I had talked to someone else before and they were a lot more expensive than FDR, and it was about the same amount of time.
I pay FDR once at the beginning of the month. They do an automated withdrawal from one of my checking accounts, and then they distribute the money to my debtors. I also have another service with Freedom Debt Relief. It’s the legal part of it. There was a company that was gonna sue me and would take me to court. So, I got in touch with FDR, then they got me in touch with a lawyer that I would retain. I received a subpoena to court and I sent the subpoena to FDR, and we had a small letter. The lawyer took care of it before it ever went to court.
I’m very satisfied with the quality of service from FDR. However, I have a debt with Premier Bank and FDR is not working on it quite as fast as they would like. Premier Bank keeps calling me and telling me that FDR hasn't contacted them. The way that Freedom Debt explained it to me was that some of the creditors would call me more often because FDR tried to talk to them to settle, but they wouldn’t settle. So, the FDR rep said, “The longer you wait, the better the settlement will be.” What the rep was saying is that rather than basically not get anything, the creditors would settle for something less.
My debt was gonna be $32,000 if I kept going like I was. This was from credit cards and a couple of unsecured loans. But FDR is helping me out with that. They are one of the top debt relief companies on the internet and they got me down to $18,000, although it’s taking a little time. I’ve been with them for almost a year now. My credit score dropped and they said that would be normal, but it's actually not. My credit is taking a hit under, but I’m okay with that because, in four years, I’ll be completely out of debt as far as that part goes.

Very helpful initially - so informative - has worked out exactly how it was expected - clearing accounts and balances working with debit companies has taken a load off of my mind. My prayers are to eventually rebuild my credit score which is low now because everything crashed initially while consolidation was being handled.

I entered the process with Freedom Debt Relief expecting some serious help with my debt problem. Freedom promised to negotiate with my creditors, and get me out of debt in a reasonable time frame. What I received was a very poor product. I was sued twice by creditors, one of whom actually offered a settlement to me prior to the suit. Freedom said they would work to get a better deal, when, in fact, they never spoke to the creditor until the suit was filed. I would not recommend doing business with Freedom at all. You can negotiate with your creditors on your own, and be just as well served.

Debt consolidation companies have a reputation for being sketchy. That is not the case here. FDR has been amazing. They were patient and listened to my situation and my concerns. They found the right fit for my budget and walked me through what to expect. About 5 months into the process, I was served with a civil suit by one of the creditors. FDR Legal team was there to help. They made the process effortless. I would also like to applaud the perfect amount of communication. I have watched my credit score go up and balances go down. Though my only complaint is that they did not take two accounts because I could not show original paperwork. I have statements with balance, my name and account information, so I will have to hire someone else to handle them.

I've been in the program now 18 months. Keeping track of the settlement offers, payments, and fees show I have paid (FDR) 53% of every dollar paid to creditors. When they settle, you have to ask what their fee is, it isn't just provided. Each payment sent had a charge based on the payment method for the creditors. Several of my accounts could have been paid faster, reducing the re-occurrence of payment type fees.

I have anxiety about the Citibank contacting me for non payment while I am getting money into debt relief account but it is too early to have had a contact with them. The company seems all great upfront but when you actually get going, you realize they are costing more money. For example they will settle a debt and save you $800.00 but then they will charge you $700.00 in fees. I actually had a settlement for an account and Freedom Debt was taking my monthly payments and not paying the creditor. They are basically thieves who take you money and do not know where it is. I have been getting the runaround for 5 weeks that they are investigating the issue but would not refund my $781.00 fee for the account the settled and then defaulted on the first payment which canceled their settlement. Do yourself the favor and contact the creditor and ask to settle directly. You will save a lot of money hassle and aggravation. Do not trust them with your money!

After finding myself barely treading the dangerous waters of mounting credit card debt for several months, I knew I was going to need some help before I started to drown, and FDR was there. With superhuman capabilities (as compared to my own abilities), they swooped in and took the reigns of the near out-of-control horse and cart and helped me get my purchasing power back on track in less than a quarter of the time it would have taken me to get those high interest cards paid off.
I am thankful for FDR, Freedom Debt Relief as compared to Franklin Delanore Roosevelt, and their services. Their channels of communication are always open and you can expect a speedy, accurate, and attentive response. I was in a debt reduction program years ago and they had all my accounts frozen so no further finance charges were added to my balances. They then negotiated on the balance I submitted at the beginning of the program. These additional charges add a lot of extra money to my payoffs.

Looking after my finances. Will have financial stability thanks to FDR. Also for those creditors who choose to litigate, NLG will take care of that. Sometimes communicating with the creditors is lacking. On two occasions I have had to use NLG to represent me in litigation. Should never have gotten to that point.

Good Debt Consolidation Company although slightly more expensive than competitors. They charge more on their settlement fees, but no upfront fees. Otherwise it’s an honest company to deal with, very transparent. Customer Service is the greatest, very convenient because hours of operation is till late pm and open every day.

I didn’t wanna file for bankruptcy and in the past, I went with another debt relief company called Fastrack but it was pretty short-lived. I really didn’t trust them giving them my bank account information and expecting them to put the money that I give them or the money they’re gonna take from me into an account to pay my debt. It didn’t seem right. Then when I went online and started researching different debt relief companies, I came to find out that they didn’t have the greatest rating. And that Freedom Debt Relief did.
But initially, I heard about Freedom Debt Relief from Shark Tank. The Barbara Corcoran was on there and I saw an advertisement. She highly recommended them and I thought that she must know what she was talking about. She is a billionaire in real estate. So, I started reading up about Freedom Debt Relief and I saw a lot of good reviews. I even went on to Business Better Bureau and saw they had a good rating, so I tried them out.
So far, Freedom Debt Relief has been wonderful. Whenever I had to add a debt to my account, they did that and were always there if I had questions to ask. And whenever they settled my debt for me, they emailed me right away and also texted me. If I didn’t respond, they would call me about it. So, I’ve not had any bad experience with them. They even worked with me this past summer. I’m a teacher, so I work during the school year and I wasn’t working that summer. I told them that this one month was gonna be a little tough to make the payment and asked them if we could switch the plan or the graduation package. They worked with me in order to still take money out but in a way that would also work for me.
I’ve been with them for two years now and whenever I have a question or a problem, I'd call them up and talk to them. I spoke to someone in the beginning then whenever I called, I got different people. It was usually never the same one but I’ve never had anyone not understand my whole financial situation. It is right there on the computer and everyone I’ve ever spoken to has been able to tell me how we would work things out. And they’ve arranged everything or do whatever I needed.
I had about five accounts that they settled for me, some of the smaller ones, and I have a lot of small credit card debts that just kinda added up. They’ve been doing a great job, so it’s just a matter of how much they take out a month that I can put in and keep putting towards the account so that they can say we have enough and we can make a settlement type of thing. So, I’m still on track for the graduation date I had set and everything seems to be okay. But, it is nice to know that in a few years, I’ll have all this resolved then I can move on. And hopefully, my credit score will go up.
Their website is also great. I can easily get on the dashboard and see what is going on with the account. I would highly recommend them. If you have any accumulated debt and it is too much for you to handle, give Freedom Debt Relief a call because they set everything up on how much you make, how much you can afford to pay every month, and what your plan would be.

Freedom Debt Relief has been providing me great quality of service and working with them has reduced my stress. I’m not getting calls every week anymore and we go ahead once all over. I heard something about them ahead of time and liked that, so I sought their service. They took my individual accounts and they're negotiating with my creditors. While there’s something they can’t work with, they've already gotten reductions on a lot of them. The process could be quicker, but those things take time. The consultants I work with are thorough. The settlement process went very smoothly and I'm happy that Capital One will be settled. The only thing is that the payments will be very small and will take 30 months. So far so good, only a few months in. Things weren't 100% clear initially. I submitted all my credit card info for consolidation. I didn't find out until a month later credit cards $500 or less aren't included. So I had a bunch of late payments which had fees. If I had known, I would have taken care of those. That is my only issue thus far. The Representative did apologize and said she thought she mentioned it to me, but did not. It will be a while before things are good again but I'm making an effort. Everything is online. I do much better with paper documents.

The reason I terminated my account the first time was due to the fact that I still had considerable debt. I re-enrolled, and was very satisfied with the help I received. I am pleased with FDR. They have successfully negotiated most of my accounts. The NLLC are wonderful as well.
