You people have been most kind, considerate and helpful as we are in our late 80s and a bit slow to grasp problems that may come up. Thank you for the manner in which you treat your clients. In this day and age we hesitate to get into anything that we don't understand but your rep and people have done all to reassure us. So far it has been good or better, I find the representatives to be kind and pleasant. However, I haven't even made the first payment until next week. I do have questions and will be contacting the company later today. The difference in the time zones is inconvenient, when I want to call at 8:00 am only to remember that would be 5 AM for you guys.

Because of health issues, I am no longer out working, and I knew that I needed a way to make sure that my credit cards were addressed. The decision to go with Freedom Debt Relief was due to the explanations that were afforded to me on how their program works and it was within my budget. An account was set up and then some funds were put aside. I could have done that on my own, but I felt I had more support from experts as opposed to using my own personal knowledge of how debt relief actually works.
FDR was highly recommended online. I know there are a lot of scams going on and there are people setting up these kinds of programs, but they don’t follow through. They’re taking your money and you don’t know where everything is going. But the counselor at FDR actually explained how the program was going to work and told me I had the access to my account at any time, 24/7. I called him at least 14 times within three days and he never made me feel like I was bothering him. If I encounter harassment calls from creditors, they reassured me that I don’t have to answer the questions. I can speak further to FDR and they would speak on my behalf. Those are the things I really like about this program.
I have a very good relationship with the staff at FDR. They made me feel that they are people I could trust. I like that they contact me right away when they’re wanting to settle the debt and that they asked for my permission before they move forward. They are very thorough and their website is really set up well. I can go to it anytime and check my dashboard. I can ask questions anytime and if they can’t answer it, they will find someone to answer it for me. The payment plan can be overwhelming if the person doesn't know what questions to ask. But working with FDR made me feel much more comfortable. I don’t have the weight of those debts hanging over my head and it has given me an opportunity to save a little money on the side as well.

I have been a client for almost a year. So far one account paid off, another account being paid down. The creditors will continue to call you and make the same offers to you that FDR is being paid to make for you. The 3rd account is taking me to court, to garnish my wages. I pay an additional monthly fee to FDR for legal protection, don't. It's a WASTE. No one will talk to you, and if they do return your call it is several days later. Most of the time when you call FDR, they give you another number to contact. NLLG has provided me with 2 options, pay a lump sum to settle account, that amount is 80 percent of the Growing balance or make monthly payments higher than the amount originally agreed to. IF this deal goes down, there would be no money for the other creditors. So NOW, I need a REAL LAWYER to stop the wage garnishment. FILE for Bankruptcy, it will be over in 5 years and the lawyer will represent YOU.

We understand it is extremely frustrating to learn a creditor is aggressively collecting on a balance by taking legal action. We do rely on NLLG to assist our clients who are dealing with aggressive creditors. Huge help! Didnt push a new loan. Actually wanted to help us resolve debt. Easy process and super nice consult work fast to get us relief. We will be out of debt in four years. It was an easy 15 minute phone call. A couple of emails and it was all complete.

The young lady that help me was wonderful with helping me defer my payments due to me being unemployed at the moment. She was most helpful and understanding of my situation. She was able to defer my payments until February.

A little frustrating about the timeline. I was told that within the year I would see credit score bounce back and now on 18 months still having issues. I have a couple thousand banked and really don't understand why another account can be address. I feel that the service was not explained well at the beginning. Frustrated. I have used a service 12 years ago that was easier and seemed to be quicker at resolving debt.

The interest rates over time put me in the ground. There was no way I could get out. I tried to work with the Bank to reduce interest rate. I tried to get a loan with lower interest rate to pay off -- then pay credit union. No one would work with me. YOU DID and I forever owe you blessings and gratitude. Very please to have FDR as my partner to help me get off this merry go round of drowning in this debt caused by the high interest chargers set upon me partly because I leased a very expensive Kia Sorrento 7 seater SUV vehicle I really could not afford in the first place. It started that I was asked to put no money down on the purchase of said vehicle. No interest was charged to me. Which left me with payments monthly of $495.00 and as you can understand I could not carry the lease for the full 4 year term.

I think your fees are some kind overpriced therefore the savings couldn't be greater. And I had a bad experience when one of your agents quit and I got a suit which took several days to corrected because there was nobody to follow up.

You have poor communication with the law group you work with. Your company failed and my bank account was garnished due to lack of communication. I am still waiting to hear back from customer service regarding how they are not going to charge me on the extra they say I am short.

Been a great communication. I don’t always get into my email. Would like to see the text come through more often on resolved debt. I was also promised $200 once I made 6 months worth of deposits. I have not seen anything. But all in all it’s been great!

This co is helping me get rid of my debt. Great experience. Fast painless process. Lady who helped me enroll was so nice and helpful. Cannot wait to get debt free. What a relief to get rid of the debt that has been hanging over our head for years. Husband had a heart transplant and on insulin. Medication is very expensive.

I called because I have $9,000 in my FDR account and was wondering why my account has not reached a settlement yet. I was told they cannot find the company who has my account, evidently Wells Fargo gave my account to a collection agency and that agency then gave my account to another company and no one knows who that company is now. I just want to pay off my account in full with FDR's help by March 2019 so I am anxious to find out what my balance is including Fed's settlement fees. The customer service rep was very nice and said she was going to make notes on my account. PLEASE HELP resolve this issue.

Typically Freedom Debt Relief's duration is estimated between 24-48 months and we are confident we will have an agreement before March of 2019. You have plenty of funds in your dedicated account, so we are simply waiting for the structured settlement. We would advise you to continue checking your client dashboard for a settlement with your final creditor and we are very excited to provide you with financial freedom. The process is taking a great deal longer than what I was told by the agent that originally signed me up for the program. This has been an extremely stressful process. I thought I would be in settlement phase at this point and I am told it will be another 8-9 months.

I feel that there is a lack of consistency when I speak to different representatives. They are helpful, but I get confused on how everything is charged. Everyone says something different. Mostly the representatives are okay, but there are so many fees and charges, it becomes complicated. The experience with NLLG is not good. They do not answer the phone.

I am not very happy with the your fee, I talked with Janice **, when I started the program, it was supposed to finish my payments in 2 or 3 years, and someone explained me that my payments will be 4 more years.

I have not received my pack so I downloaded it from the computer. This is the first time I have ever done this... I have yet to receive my medical hardship letter. I'm already receiving phone calls, and I don't expect anyone to just hold my hand. But I thought someone would at least drop a email and check up on me... I'll get through this and never do it again. I would never be in this situation if I hadn't had a knee replacement that went wrong. I also had a neck fusion this year... It's scary. And sometimes I don't know what my next steps are... 1. Twice I’ve had two accounts in 2018 go to court due to the lack of effort by FDR resolving/negotiating these accounts; unneeded stress! 2. Why are there settlement fees every month? No new accounts have been settled? This $ can go to paying off other accounts faster.

Freedom Debt Relief has allowed me the opportunity to be much more organized with 2 payments a month, instead of 6 payments. However, I am not impressed with the money that it has saved me. (In other words, I was under the assumption that the agreement between myself and the credit company would save me some money... not so much.) I have also been served to appear in court with one of the accounts, which I thought FDR would have prevented that. The time frame for everything to be resolved keeps getting pushed back, and the ending date is not what was presented to me with signing on. I give it an average to a little under average rating.

I had been getting harassed to pay back some bills and I have been very ill and have been taking care of a very ill family member and I had lost my job a while ago and was then hit with terrible credit unable to pay off balances. I called out of my own good will to talk to a rep and he demanded for money I did not have and I tried for over 10 minutes to explain to him that I wanted to do a payment plan because I have left them unpaid for too long and I knew that wasn't right. I just recently got a job and it's my first week and I called these people and they passed me around to each other insulting me, saying I need to get my life straight if I don't have X amount of money to pay them IMMEDIATELY. They do not know of my family illness and decided to judge me by my age and literally made fun of me for being in debt.
I am left without words for this company who hires low people like this. I will do everything in my power and in social media to make sure no one deals with these people. I rather go bankrupt than cooperate with people who have mentally and emotionally abused me over the phone as I was trying to have good faith by calling them the moment I got a new job. This is unbelievable.

I have to admit I want instant satisfaction and that is not how this works. I have been in the program for 10 months and 4 of my accounts have reached settlements. I would have hoped these could be reached faster given my bi-weekly payments are not insignificant. I was selected for an accelerated program due to my commitment to the program. I was subsequently not approved due to too many delinquent payments. This is counterintuitive given that I had never missed a payment before I started this program. I have done exactly what FDR instructed me to do but am now faulted for following instructions. This was highly discouraging.
FDR is known for excellent customer service per online reviews and financial forums. This was my experience with the initial debt advisor. He was excellent and knowledgeable. I have not had the same experience with further calls to FDR. Advisors that I have spoken with do not always seem to know the answers to my questions and this does not instill confidence. All being said, I plan to stick with the program as I don’t have many other options. I won’t be able to give a final review until I see that FDR can remove a charged off account from my credit report. I would also hope that I will be given another opportunity to accelerate my program given my dedication.

My experience with FDR has been very pleasant. I was so burdened down with credit card debt due to some expensive things that came upon me. FDR showed me how they could help me reduce my credit debt I have been working with them for almost a year now and my debts are being paid and the balance is really coming down. It’s easy and fulfilling to being able to breath again and feel comfortable about what I am doing. Without the great people at FDRs help I would still be stressing over how I could get ahead and it seemed like I would never see the paid in full on my debts. When I went into the program they were taking 400 out a month which was fine. Well then I took some of CC off the program and they still were charging me 400 a month. I asked why. They told me because I needed to meet my program date. Ok I understand that but if I took CC off wouldn't you think that would lower your monthly payments. Also they are really high in monthly fees. When you give them money each month and you only have one settlement all the money should go towards that settlement.

He had an issue with Windley payment was going to be removed due to late payroll. He was able to help us out and get the future payments rescheduled to every second Thursday of the month so that I could change the account for which it was being paid.

A few days ago I was able to log in into my account. Had a few questions. I had to call back 3 times. The first representative was falling to sleep the second one was helpful. I forgot to discuss a payment arrangement had to call back. The same guy picked up that was helping me the second time. He was rude, basically told me to file for bankruptcy gave me his opinion multiple times. at the end he bypassed one question survey, he hung up the phone on me. So do I have to deal with this emotional abuse every time when I call you? I'm flabbergasted.

Initially I requested a loan, Justin patiently told me why I was not a candidate for a loan and suggested your program. I joined onto Freedom Debt Relief 6 months ago after partnering with an awful debt settlement company originally, Pacific Debt. My first intake call with FDR was great as a commitment of proactiveness, peace of mind, and a true concern of my situation was made by your representatives. Six months into the program and $5,000 worth of deposits later I've seen very little results. Only two accounts have been negotiated, one of which was less than $500 and low priority, the other which results in a WAGE GARNISHMENT where I ended up paying the creditor MORE than they asked for (they offer to settle for $968 and FDR committed to $1200). Plus, I still don't have the $737.49 back from the garnishment that occurred almost 3 weeks after I settle the account.
I constantly get the run-around when I call into FDR as to who is responsible, where we're at in the process, and what the next clear steps are to resolve the issues. Every time I call in for an update I'm told to call back in one week, this last time I was told to call back in 30 days!!! When your check is being garnished from a creditor you've already paid, why in the world would you tell a customer to wait another 30 days (putting two more paychecks at risk of unwarranted garnishments)? I am considering terminating my entire program with FDR based on these recent experiences. There is ZERO sense of urgency on my accounts from my perspective. Which is not the picture that was painted originally by your representatives. I really was hoping FDR was different than my previous debt settlement partner, unfortunately you have proven to be worse.

So far so good. I have very little experience with FDR to date but my experience so far has been fairly good. I had one chat with an employee that left me more confused than when the chat started and the employee cut the chat short. I later had a phone conversation with another employee who did a much better job explaining what I wanted to know. Since we were dealing with a deposit I made I feel the employee I was dealing with should have taken a little more time and showed more patience toward a FDR customer.

I got a civil summons on 10/9. I just got a chance to look at it. I been out of town and called them and they told me I should have notified them within 3 days. No one ever told me that and I was working out of town. Just a scam to kill your credit and take your money.

It took great courage for me to initially pick up the phone, but I was drowning in debt. Due to unforeseen circumstances (deaths in my immediate family) I accumulated bills that were once divided. I got a 2nd job, in addition to my full time job, thinking the supplemented income was going to make a difference, but it didn't/hasn't.
I heard an advertisement on the radio and mulled it over a few days. I heard it again while sitting in the parking lot at my 2nd job, so I called. A very kind, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable man, David **, answered my call. I was quite emotional in explaining my situation and frankly a bit skeptical, but David ** was not pushy. I did not make a decision to commit to anything and told him I needed time to research Freedom Debt Relief before making a decision. David provided me with information and resources via email, but I researched further on my own. I asked David to call me back on a Sunday morning, which he did and in a timely manner at that.
After further inquiries on my part, I decided to commit to a new financial lifestyle change, which would be beneficial for me and would shave off almost $12,000.00 dollars from my debt. I am so happy I did. I feel a weight has been lifted and I can honestly say I have a personal financial coach with Freedom Debt Relief. I have called FDR Customer Service a few times, with each time being a pleasant experience with very knowledgeable, professional and kind people helping me with questions I had and resources provided. I mired in credit card debt. I had tried to consolidate debt and just have on payment but had no luck. Then a salesman called me and it was a perfect solution. They would negotiate with the card companies and get the debt down and I would pay on that amount. We settled on 3 years and a certain amount every month. I felt good about the deal. I was paying the credit cards off and they weren't getting the high interest rates. I had paid on one card for 5 years and the principle hardly changed. I am so glad I found Freedom Debt Relief.

I receive a letter for the court that I had to pay a $35 filing fee for paying off a loan. I wanted to know if this was a legal notice. It was and I had to pay the money. I would think that the court would be happy it was paid off and no fee charged.

Freedom Debt Relief and the partner company Consolidation Plus are the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I keep getting different answers to my questions. I have informed FDR that I unexpectedly have funds to pay off my debt but they have not responded. Instead they tried to get me to get a loan. A settlement was reached only if I got the loan. Once I cancelled the loan the settlement was removed DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY IT. RIP OFF. You are only interested in collecting your fees. You have no interest in doing what is best for your customers.

If I could zero stars I would. Beware and fully research before you use this company. After giving this company over $500 a month for a year and getting sued by several companies for unpaid funds I have discovered that Freedom Debt Relief takes $400 out of the $500 monthly bill for their own personal fees. When confronted about this the guy on the phone kept stuttering and telling me to hold. He then proceeds, “We are here to help. Let me see what I can do.”
He comes back and then says, “Sorry we have to take the $400 month fees for us but maybe you can give us more money a month and we can work with the other companies.” Really!!! Also two of the bills are $500. They should have been paid off a year ago. One payment could have paid these bills. Also beware they also charge you $3 for a phone call and every "payment" they send to a company you are charged $3-10. They say they want to help but they are nothing but scam artists. I wish I figured this out before getting served.

The representative from Freedom Debt Relief made a good presentation for the way that they took their commissions which, afterward, I found out was a little misleading. I like to see they improved the exact way they explained how they get their commissions. But from the presentation, I decided to go with them. I had an over amount of credit cards and the high interest just wasn’t going anywhere. They figured what was an affordable amount for me. And the customer service that I received was extremely well. When I had some concerns, Alisa called me and addressed them, and was very knowledgeable as to exactly the misconceptions that I had. Working with Freedom Debt Relief made my life so easier in a way. I got less calling hour every month.

This is a very good program. They have really helped me get rid of some of my debts. That's enough of a reason to recommend them, but wait there's more! LOL. Getting debt free is good, but the thing that is my favorite part is the customer service that you get! They have always been there to answer ALL of my questions and concerns. The only thing I wish that they had is not so many departments that you had to talk to for each thing you have a question for. We have had excellent service just takes time to get to the correct department for each thing we need. Other than that everything has been great.

The amount of debt I was carrying around with me month to month was making me fearful with my finances. I have never made a decision in my lifetime where I immediately felt this calm. I went through the program as I was instructed by FDR. When I started it, I called all my creditors on the plan and changed my address and phone number to the FDR address and phone number. I completed the plan in 2011, and asked for documentation saying all my creditors were paid off, but never received it. Five years after completing the plan I got called by a debt collector. One of my creditors had sold my debt to a collection agency. I called FDR to get the settlement information. They said I should have received it when I graduated. I explained that I asked for it several times but never received the packet of information with the details of debt settlement. I talked to “Daniel **”, who was supposedly their “bestest” resolution specialist, and who talked a good talk but never followed through or called back as promised.
After several months of failed attempts to get FDR to address this outlier, I finally sent a letter to the debt collector telling them to contact FDR about the issue. FDR kept giving my account to new people to follow up on it, and the new people, having no information (I guess they don’t have it recorded in a centralized system???) would blow me off since my account was “closed”. I had to keep re-explaining it every time. I still have not heard back from FDR regarding my settlement packet or the issue with this collector. I’m pretty disappointed with their complete lack of close out on my account, and their failure to make it right upon multiple requests. Closing my account does not equal a closeout. Sending me proof of all settlements is closure. Shame on you FDR.

Twice we were hung up on and the personnel was very pushy in the beginning, also somewhat rude. After we signed up for the program, we were summoned into court by one of the creditors, faxed info in hoping they could take notify the courts, well nothing was done. Now we are being charged court cost, even though they reached a structured settlement. For what we are paying you for your service, we should not be dealing with this.

Tried to get our debt paid off completely. Your customer service agent Kristine ** said she would need $15,530 ASAP to do it. We borrowed, sold and pawned as much as we had and got her that amount and FDR withdraw it on 8/10 and 8/13. She said it would take a few weeks to get things done. To date 10/20/18 nothing has been paid off. Small monthly payments on account but nothing paid off. FDR has made sure they withdrawal their service fee's but can't get back to your customer to let them know what's going on.
When I talked to her 4 weeks after money was posted in my bank she asked if I wanted to start pay off? Apparently I was supposed to tell FDR to start early pay off but who's supposed to let me know that? 11 week's no contact with Ms.**. I've left several messages for a return call or email and you can look at your customer service records and no reply till yesterday after and I got a one sentence email from her stating she'll look into it. Very very poor customer service. I can see why you have such poor reviews online. Wish my wife and I would have checked for ourselves on FDR instead of listening to Prime America.

I am dissatisfied with how long are being coordinated. I current have an account with a balance of $575 and have more available funds in my account and even though this account is small is schedule to take 4 years to pay off in $5 increments. I believe that if the funds are available to pay the account off sooner.

This worker helped me to figure out 2 things: my acct balance the way the negotiations can go with nllg on a case I was served with and how to best continue with funds, also how to contact the creditor I had paid off but wasn't showing as paid off and I did that and they said it was sent it on Sept. 9th to the credit bureau so it should show up any day now. But I wouldn't have had their number without his help and I don't know if they (Chase) correctly filed my papers because they couldn't find it under my social security #. Only cell #. So it paid off for all of this.

They work great with getting debt removed from high point to manage payments and lower payments to get rid of debt. Only thing I would like them to change is when you have multiple debt try to do them all at once instead of waiting for one to be finished.

Freedom Debt Relief lightened a lot of the burden that I’ve had financially. I’m paying my bills as I’m able to and they have arranged with my creditors to make that easier. I feel like they’re really there to help you. If you call, they try to answer your worries. At first, I didn’t know because I’ve never not pay creditors so this is a whole new ballgame for me. But I feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s not just a sinking ship anymore, even though we’re still kind of at the beginning of it. I'm looking forward to being out of debt in four years versus still on that sinking ship for another however many more, if I wasn’t on this program.

We couldn't be happier with our choice to use Freedom Debt Relief. Since March 2018 they have negotiated with about 1/2 of our 12 creditors, and reducing our debts by a MINIMUM of 50% (1 was MORE than 50%), and we have successfully paid 1 off COMPLETELY! Since I joined they have helped me. Slow starting off but now on right track. Starting to pay on last debt. Hopefully, in 2 years I'm done. Credit cards are a nightmare but they have helped me get by without so much bad credit.

I love this program. It has giving me things to think about what I should and should not do. Credit are ok, but don't go crazy and get cards just because it has dollars signs. I have to remember that I have to pay them back with interest. This program has made me stronger and smarter. Thank you.

I so appreciate working with the staff at FDR (as I call it). They are always helpful and kind. It helps to have others working on this for me so I don't have to deal with the debt collectors myself or pay way too much out in accumulating interest. Program is worth it! I am well on my way to being debt free before I turn 31 and that's a huge relief.

FDR is the worst company I have ever dealt with. FDR did NOT advise on implications of possible actions and options connected with the program. In the end, cost me a lot of time, money and sadly ruined my credit. Others beware!

The Consumer Affairs department was able to reach settlements with my creditors. They were helpful intruding to explain the details of what their jobs were and why I was still receiving calls in reference to my bills. I still struggle with the system but I have put my life in their hands.

I was kind of skeptical about doing this debt relief program but I actually had no the choice. I’ve been in the program about 8 months and so far they’ve negotiated three of my debts which one I only have five more payments. Even though the monthly payment is a little hard for me sometimes I cannot imagine paying all my debts every month that I would have had to. I know it’s going to take a little time but I truly feel that in a couple years I will be debt-free due to Freedom Debt Relief.
