My credit card debt was piling up and then I had to have a surgery on my neck. Now I had more debt than I could handle but once I found Freedom Debt Relief everything is back on track. From getting set up to the first settlement everything has been smooth except for the annoying calls that I have ignored...this plan is one of the best moves I have made to date!!!

Freedom Debt Relief is helping me to resolve some of my debts. I do not know how the amount of the debt that was not covered by the settlement is going to affect me at the time I pay my taxes. But so far I am very pleased and relieved by the help I have them.

We felt comfortable with Freedom Debt Relief and the reps were very helpful and understanding. If I had an issue or a question, they explained it in great detail plus they were easy to work with. I was impressed with the rep’s support and professionalism. We went back and forth on the payment plan whether they could do it or not based on our debt ratio or on our total debt but we came up with an agreement.

I have been using Freedom's service for over a year now and it has worked out well for me so far. Their timing was good. They happened to hit me with some information at the time that I was looking for kind of a way out. I talked to the people, and then I found out what I had to do, what they were doing and how they did it. And I think I made a good decision. I spend a lot of money each month but I have seen a good bit of progress already. They have taken care of numerous accounts. They start with the small ones and work their way up, and they have been getting very good discounts. They cut my debts in half or down as far as they can. They call me when they get a settlement so I can respond to it and wipe it out. You should really listen to what they say and understand that you have to make decisions pretty quickly when the time comes, but it's always in your favor.
It has been pretty simple and I don't have to do anything. I just send them money every month and they deal the pot with it and negotiate whichever loan they find is in the best interest. They got some done right away and others are in the works right now. They're getting up to the bigger loans. If it goes as they proposed that it will go, I will eliminate a lot of my debt over a period of time by paying the individual debt holders a settlement. When you start with Freedom, they tell you about your graduation date and that it can change. If one or two debts disappear, your graduation date might come down, like, it might be three years instead of four years. They say that the graduation date represents the fact that they get you taken care of. And that always sounded good to me. At worst, I'm looking at four years.
Also, my credit was just absolute garbage. My kids and I got hacked and different things happened that almost wiped me out. But I'm still afloat and making money. I worked hard for my money but I certainly had a bunch of it tied up in credit card debt. And Freedom is helping me polish it off. Right now, I am a satisfied customer and I would certainly recommend them. I'm that confident that what they're doing is good work.

It’s early in the process, however everything looks good so far. Just received successful negotiation status on first account. 11 more to go. The only thing I don’t like is good credit rating goes bad and don’t know when it will ever be good again.

All that was told has been done on my behalf and I feel very comfortable with Freedom Debt at the helm. Each time I get a call from a creditor I only give the phone number and refer them directly to Freedom and I never have issues with that creditor again. Again, I feel very relieved when the phone calls come and I have an adversary handling my affairs.

I’m not sure that I can honestly do the amount of $975 every month. Yes I did eliminate the Discover account from the dashboard and was to pay $475 a month But was told that it went back to the $975 this month but I d I don’t know or remember that was to happen. I have til October to pay off my Discover for $391 a month but that now set me back on my other payments a month. I called about but honestly didn’t know that it was to go back to the $975! I wish I had understood this at the time on when this was to happen. I feel I’m living month to month and it’s not easy! I also wish I had a call from you when this started up again! Anna **.

It did take a while for the first settlement to come through but then all of a sudden two more right after. I am thankful I stuck it out let my Dedicated account balance keep growing. Since I waited I now have four accounts paid off and more soon to come. Thank you to all FDR Representatives.

I’m a widow and I’m on a fixed income and I got too much debt for my income. At first, I wasn’t too sure about doing Freedom Debt Relief. I had signed up, but then I got to thinking and canceled it. Then I said that I better not cancel it because I couldn't do it on my own. That was when I called back and got reassigned. I got upset because my credit score went way down. But now, one of my four bills is paid off. They also had another settlement, so I have two more. One is in the process and the other one is on hold.

I enjoyed Freedom Debt Relief's enrollment process because they gave me all the information before I got into the program and sent me a lot of brochures about it. They also gave me the number on a website that I could go in and get all the information that I needed. I could afford the payment plan that I got. And the more I paid, the faster I can graduate. They should keep me informed more though. I was impressed that the bill people never call me. I got most of my bills paid. The last time I looked, some were resolved and I have one in negotiation. I'd tell someone going through the program to hang in there. It’s the only thing that will resolve debt.

My mother had passed away and I was surprisingly left with quite a bit of debt. And I was trying to work that out when my husband decided he was gonna divorce me. And so, he left me with debt. I was making sufficient money, it was just that it was emotionally so hard that I was missing when I needed to be sending in payments and my bookkeeping got sloppy. And Freedom Debt Relief just pitched right in and helped me. I had to take time to heal and I didn't wanna leave things undone, so they told me they would see to it, that everything got paid. It was a little bit different than what I had anticipated, but I should be pretty close to my graduation date now, so I'm good.
The way they supported me through the payment plan was all right. It left me with a peace of mind. I knew that they would handle it legally and the way it needed to be done and things were gonna get paid, and that was what mattered to me. It gave me time to get past the divorce and my mom. Then just this last year, I was able to give them enough cash to go ahead and pay everything out. However, that's the part that caused me to question them. They said if I paid extra, I could graduate early. And I was a little disappointed that they didn't just get it done. It's been six months since I gave them the money that they told me it would take to get cleared out. It was $4,100. And I was assuming that it was gonna be done. I was told by November, then I was told by December. I hate to call in January 'cause I don't wanna find out that they haven't got it all taken care of.
But since working with them I've been less stressed. It's because I don't have to be constantly reminded every month when I write those checks, of the fact that we thought there was enough money to pay for mom and nobody else helped, and so I got stuck with it. And I don't have to live with the constant reminder every month what I went through with the divorce. I can move on. And that's not being irresponsible. Because as soon as I could get all the money together, I did what I could do to graduate.

The rep was very professional and polite. She really explained everything to me and how it worked. I was impressed with the program. Everything has been good. I wish I had have asked sooner if there was some kinda way that the debt could just be paid off and I'd pay somebody else, but maybe I needed to be in it for a while before that was suggested to me. But I did do that, and then, I got introduced to Consolidation Plus. So that made it even better.
Freedom worked with me on what I could afford. There was no way I would have joined the program if I couldn’t afford to make the payment. I did bi-weekly payments, and that worked better for me. They work with you so it can be the best program for you. I definitely have less stress because I was getting a lot of phone calls before. I hate to ignore the people calling because I know I owe them, but I didn’t wanna talk to them because I couldn’t pay them. But with Freedom's program, the phone calls stopped, and I just made my payments, and before long, I was through with one debt. I looked up again, and I was through with another debt. It was much easier and I was able to get some peace.

I was very reluctant to begin the program because I did not want to ruin my credit. After Adam **, explained the program to me, it all made more sense. I would never be able to pay off my debt in 4 year without the program.

Overall I am pleased with the results. The only negative is the continuous barrage of phone calls from the creditors. I would recommend Freedom Debt to my friends. I’ve met FDR about 1 1/2 years ago and I really think they are doing their best to resolve my issues of debt. I didn’t know about them until they reached out to me about solving theses debts. So far we have 3 paid out of 7. I will continue to pay on my dedicated account so that I may be debt free by 2025.

I did an online research. I reached out to a couple of different companies and I thought that Freedom Debt had the best solution to my problems, so I went with them. I've been with them for six months now and they've been pretty helpful. They've been very willing to work with me. They've reached out to see how things are going and asked if they have to do anything to help me. They've been pretty friendly too. They've been very open about everything, the process of what would take place. They've done a good job of explaining everything or how it’s supposed to work. It’s nice to know that I don’t have to worry about trying to pay 900 different bills at once. They're taking care of it for me.

It was kinda slow with the rep I was partnered with, but now it has picked up and it’s going perfect. My phone isn't ringing and my credit score has gone up. With adding my last card, it was on there but nobody could find it so I had to go through the lawyers and all that. But it all worked out. Freedom has done everything for me.

I got behind my debts and I could never get caught up. I called a couple of debt consolidation companies and they couldn't help me. With one of them, the payment was too high. My son, who was using Freedom Debt's services, told me about them. They asked me what kind of payment I could work with and I love what they gave. Updated on 04/13/2020: The process is going quicker than I thought. About six months ago I enrolled six accounts and already three of them have been settled. It is a relieving feeling. At FDR, it genuinely feels as though I have professionals on my side, supporting me every step of the way.
Original review: I have not been with the program to alleviate my debt stress for very long, but so far so good. In less than 6 months, one of my several accounts turned over to FDR has been settled already. That feels like a huge stride bringing me that much closer to debt-free in a shorter amount of time than I expected initially. My job is easy, I remain patient and devoted to my program deposits and FDR does the rest. I’m grateful!

Hi. My name is Claudia **. I been a customer for 3 yrs. I had no complaints for the last 3 yrs. till now. I was supposed to be finished with the program back in November 2019. Didn’t happen because one of my last credit cards has not been settled with Wells Fargo. Last week I asked to speak with a manager. They couldn’t get me anyone to help me so all they told me, "A manager will get with you in 24 hours". Is been 2 days and I haven’t heard from anyone!!! At this point I just want to be done with Freedom Debt and get with Wells Fargo myself and do a straight settlement with them..

It was very good with the Freedom rep and their website is very user-friendly. The payment plan is good. There were a couple of months in the early parts of it where I couldn't meet it and they worked with me. I’m more than halfway through the program and I have another year and a half.

I had a problem with debt for many years and called Freedom Debt Relief to fix all my debts in one payment. The payment is a little high though. I pay 500 for 24 months and have two or three years to pay that amount off of FDR. I'd finish my program in 2022. I started in a new job and am having some problems with the direct deposit. I called FDR again to ask if we could again fix the payment every 15 days, which was around 272. They are a good company and I'd stay with them.

Updated on 3/19/2021: The last phone call I made was very beneficial. Being at the end of my program I needed to know what the final steps to freedom were. The representative walked me through the process so I knew where I stood at the end of the call!

When I was in the process of considering to use FDR I was told explicitly by the advisor that I would not have to pay taxes on the amount of my debt that was written off. I was even told what form to use to send in to the IRS if I received a 1099. Now when I ask the same question I am getting I have to speak to a CPA and I am not getting the confident answers I was getting before and this makes me feel as if I was lied to in order to sign on with FDR.

It has been a hard month and I had to adjust my monthly deposit and my agent was so sweet and understanding and helpful. This is why I am happy that I chose FDR. She was fast and efficient and just like me, a working mom. I found Freedom through some reviews I saw online. I called them, and they were the most responsive to my inquiries. I ended up using them and the payment plan is easy. I was able to tell them what I felt comfortable with, and they were able to work with me. Customer service is great too. Whenever I send them any inquiries, any emails, they answer me back really quickly. I have a certain contact, but anybody who usually answers the phone has been able to help me so I don’t have to wait for a specific person. I’ve been using them for a year and they’ve already settled quite a few of my debts. They’re great so far.

I was just looking at Freedom Debt Relief on the internet, and my phone rang, and it was one of their representatives. I thought it was funny. I didn't know if they could see what I was doing. They contacted me when they needed to and I signed the document. It was convenient. I signed it on my email and then they just went forward. I think I've been in it three years. There is about one more year, about one more thing to take care of that they've not touched yet. And my debt collectors didn't call me. Once I sent them the letters, it worked good for me. I was impressed with the burden off my shoulders. It's gonna allow me to retire. My son's neighbor used Freedom Debt Relief too and they were very satisfied with it.
The only thing that I would like for them to change is maybe make some bigger payments on my accounts. Some of them is only $5. And I think the one that was $5 now went to $25. I don't know if it's because they're trying to get the other ones paid off. I know they just did the $5 just to get it started 'cause they have to negotiate. So maybe they went to negotiate and just get that one going. They paid a little bit on it just to get it on the books. But now, they've bumped it up to $25 a month. But when they negotiate, they get pretty good deals. And if I wanna quit, whatever money's in my account, it's mine. They just tell you, "Don't take away because it'l make your program longer." But I could change my payment any time I want. I've added to it. I just wanna get done with it.

It is hard to give a higher rating until I get my 2019 taxes done. If I get a 1099 from a creditor for debt forgiveness and I am not able to get this dollar amount reduced I will be socked with a highly taxable amount. I'm watching the mail every day.

I used to get so many letters from different companies claiming to help me with my debt. I don’t know why I chose to take a chance on FDR but I believe it was an answered prayer. I had too many debts and I needed to compile them and get them paid off. The Freedom Debt Relief rep talked me through and told me what would happen. He also said to call him if I ever needed him. It worked out right. The quality of service I received was very good. They've been very good even when I can't make the payment sometimes because of other things come up. And now, I don't have all the people calling me and there is no more aggravation.

Updated on 09/14/2021: Freedom representatives have been effective, polite and professional. Progress has been steady. Objectives have been clear. I have been satisfied with the progress. Perhaps Freedom representatives could be more motivated to add new accounts and explain to customers the advantage of increasing their deposit when feasible.
Original review: We went through the different debts that I had and we enrolled some of them and I kept the ones that I did not want to enroll. It worked very well and the payment plan was okay. They've settled some of my debt, but they're not quite at the end of it yet. They could do a little better, but I think they're doing the best that they can. I think they should spend more time negotiating settlements.

I saw an advertisement for Freedom Debt Relief and it was okay. Then, I checked Better Business Bureau and other records and they seemed good. I’ve been on their program for two years. They would send me an email and a text that they got something together, and I would approve it and it would continue on.

I've been very pleased with Freedom Debt Relief so far. It's only been a couple of years, but it's got a few more years left to go, and I really wish they'd go a little faster, but it's the best they can do. They made the sign-up process so easy for me. I don’t have a computer and I have email on my phone. I don’t do much with technology, so they always help me over the phone, and they’ve been wonderful. I've recommended them to other people and they're all very happy with them too.
At this point, it relieved a lot of those phone calls. I had one that went into a debt collection and went into a lawsuit, but I had the lawyer part of it, which I added to my debt relief, and he was fabulous. He took care of everything for me, where I could just pay it off in 10 months and I would be done with it. That was done and that was a debt off of my back. So, Freedom Debt Relief has really been a big part of my relief. I can’t think of anything that they can do differently unless they can pay my bill for me. That will be about the best that they can do. Or if they can get these people to say, "Jeez, we’ll cut her a break,” and let me live.

When I got my first settlement it was a relief! I was jumping for joy. Brianna help me get through this because I was already planning to back out cause I kept thinking it was a scam. Then she personally called me I felt more comfortable just by talking to her and so I said let’s give it a shot. I made my first deposit in December and I got my 1st settlement in January!!! On 01/14/2020, I inquired via text about my graduation date, just wanted to know when my graduation date would be if I increase my withdrawals from $152 to $200 biweekly because currently my graduation date shows 01/2024 but according to my dashboard it shows if I increased my withdrawals to $200 biweekly then my graduation date would be Nov 2020. My encounter with essence was not pleasant at all. She was not knowledgeable and she had a note of sarcasm.

So far so good! The hit to your credit is a bit tough some days as you watch it plummet. However, the peace of mind that it will be over sooner rather than later is huge! But I was shelling out a lot of money in monthly minimums to the cards I had and I was sinking fast. I set it up to have a fixed amount drawn from each check and put in an account to be drawn from as the cards settled. Over half of them settled in less time than I expected. I have a car I’m paying for and that’s keeping my credit from taking a total dive. It’s all a bit intense but I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel finally.

Updated on 07/19/2020: I like the user experience with Freedom Debt Relief and their rep takes care of my situation right away. We were just going back and forth and giving information to make sure that they could start setting up all the accounts and the process. After everything was done, they started working pretty quickly. At the moment, we only have a couple more accounts to take care of. They communicate to me whenever they already have a settlement right away, so I can make a decision if I accept it or not. So far, everything's good and I'm happy with them.

The beginning of my interaction with the rep was good. He convinced me to do it. He was informative and he let me know everything and my choices. I was happy with it. The program is so far good. I'm about to finish. I went with Freedom Debt Relief because of the reviews that I read on the website. I was really in debt and now, every time that I started the program, I found that I was in control. Everything worked out good except for one of them. I don't know if that's something because they settle for four years, and I was about to finish. I don't know if I had to pay them fees for the whole four years. I hope it's sooner. There's always something that I didn't like. And I think I could be more informed about the fees. The fees should be told when you reach a settlement.

My daughter and I talked about consolidating my debt and we decided on Freedom Debt Relief. It seemed they would be easy to work with and they did a good job when we signed up with them. The rep was very friendly and very helpful. I was really pleased with him. So far, they've paid off half of my debts and they got it marked way down. So, I was really pleased with that. However, it doesn't reflect back in my credit report that these bills are being paid. I was thinking about refinancing my house, but it's not showing that these have helped my credit score. It looks like my credit report is showing that one bill, which is with them, is three payments behind. It seems it doesn't work that way with how they're paying it, and it looks like I'm not paying my bills.

We’re retired and we hope to have had our debts situated but we hadn't. I was referred to Freedom Debt Relief and they got us together. They got us on a plan and it’s automatically taken out every month. We were working with a gentleman, Roberto, and the results have been fantastic. I was with Cornerstone Legal, another provider, and I got a summon from Discover in the mail. I sent it to them and they did nothing. I ended up having to pay Discover off, dropped Cornerstone, and went with Freedom Debt Relief. Their consultant was awesome, and his expertise and knowledge were top-notch. Working with them through the process was very comfortable. They have managed to work my debt down considerably and we are bound to the last three or four that I owe. It's been fantastic, and they have been working with them fabulously. They are very easy to work with and easy to talk to. They are very understanding and willing to work with you, too. I was in debt and I was getting stressed out because of it and the debt collectors. I called Freedom Debt Relief and dealt with them, and didn’t even resort to anybody else. I went into a four-year program and I wish it would be handled a little bit faster. There’s nothing I can do about it when they’re trying to negotiate but get your monies collected. Agent did not satisfactorily answer my questions regarding my open accounts nor did she give me information about the possible receipt of 2019 1099 C's. As a matter of fact I have asked the latter questions on multiple occasions and never gotten a straight answer.

I just have to said that after 3 1/2 years working with FDR, I am finally debt free starting the new 2020 year. Have loved the service and they have help us pay off debt and keep a reasonable credit score. It even allowed me to buy a new car after a serious wreck that totaled mine. I do wish that they were more familiar with check cashing loans. And handled them first. They did not and this creditor got angry with waiting and started drafting my checking for a thousand dollars. It almost made me homeless. Even after calling they continued to draft. I called Freedom and they said they couldn’t help me.

I was first reluctant to try this. After a long research. I was convinced that Freedom Debt Relief was the best ally I that would help me. I didn't want to file for bankruptcy because I felt I had a obligation to pay back my debt. With Freedom Debt they have negotiated with my creditors almost half what I owed. Banks were charging a ridiculous high interest rates and Freedom Debt negotiated to reduce those interest rates. I totally recommend to give Freedom Debt the chance to work for you.

I've had a great experience with debt relief, the lawyers have been my problem. They wanted more money, then didn't keep me updated so I missed some of the paperwork. Then got sued because of the lawyers. Then they backed out of representing me after they failed at represrepresenting me. The lawyers that represent this business are crooked.

Dear sirs I have nothing but praises for Freedom Debt Relief. 3 years ago I had a very bad accident and shattered a leg. I was on fixators and cast for about 11 months and out of work for most of a year. Could not pay my debt and I thought I was going to have file for bankruptcy. Then I found Freedom debt relief. My experience has been great. I have no major complaints. I wish they took bills no matter the balance. I was not real happy about that. I wanted to turn in all bills that were in collection. The help aid for student loans was too expensive. I would refer this company.

Freedom Debt Relief is very responsive to any question I have. I was surprised at how soon the first debt negotiation was settled, followed shortly by the next. They are always ready to answer any question. In just 3 months it will be a year since they started helping me. A question I have, which I haven’t got an answer for, is how to stop the payment from going out every month for Freedom Debt Relief when I have this other thing going on. Nobody has been able to answer that question. I left messages with the lady that was from Freedom Debt Relief since we’ve gotten that loan and they're not returning my calls. I don’t want two payments taken out. But other than that, it’s been great. They did an amazing job during the enrolment. They answered every one of the questions and they were honest. So, that was perfect. The rep I worked with was very good and very knowledgeable. He led me in the direction that I needed to go. They were on top of everything and I feel fantastic where I'm at.

I talked to them a lot and I liked how they do things, and I asked a lot of questions and they were willing to answer. They explained everything really good and I felt like they were on the up-and-up. If I call them, they always tell me what's going on, what's happened or what's fixing to happen. They're very upfront. They tried to negotiate a good price, which I got.
Working with them has been a relief because I was feeling very sad and guilty. I don’t like to not pay my bills, but it was to a point where I'd helped a lot of my family not knowing I was gonna lose my job. I didn’t wanna go bankrupt, but I got laid off and I'm in my 70s so it was hard to get another job. Plus I have adopted little kids. It helped me feel better about things even though I still feel bad. I have one company but I have two different things with them, and Freedom Debt Relief is on the very last two. They’ve paid off everything else. Once I get these negotiations done on the last two and I find out what the final thing is, I'm gonna try to pay it off and not take another year and a half.

Updated on 01/21/2022: They have done a excellent job of doing everything they said they would. I had several card bills and have one more to which will be paid off in July 2022. The main thing is make your payments on time each month and they will do the rest. I would highly recommend them to help you get out debt and save you money doing it.
Original Review: They answered all my questions. If I call and have a situation where I got a question or something, it doesn’t matter who I talk to. They’re always courteous and give me the right answers. It’s been sort of a godsend for me. And once I got through, I felt like that’s what I should do and that’s what I've done. The payment plan was a plan that I could afford and I will be able to afford until it’s all over. It really helped me. It reduced the money that I had going out to different ones. I could afford to go the way I was going, but all of a sudden, some of the 0% I had were kicking in and 24%. I can make ends meet. This has taken a dark cloud that was over my head away.
