CountryWide's process was really good and I didn't have any problem. The customer service reps were very informative and I would get anything that I needed right away. They were on top of everything. After working with CountryWide, we got our accounts up, we got our other debts paid off, and we're budgeting a lot better. I've referred other people to them. In fact, my daughter and my son have just started going through the process with them right now.

I looked into debt relief help because I had a bad credit. The reps at CountryWide Debt Relief all seemed to be very helpful and I had a good experience working with them. My credit score has gone up.

We needed some help in getting rid of our debt and CountryWide Debt Relief helped us so we're out of debt now. They were very helpful. If ever we had a question, they always answered it. People ask me all the time if CountryWide really helped us and I tell them CountryWide really did so I'd definitely recommend them.

We had a great experience with CountryWide Debt Relief. I was with another entity which didn’t have the lawyers that CountryWide had. As a result, some of the creditors were threatening to sue me. To get access to lawyers, they wanted to charge me $500 more. But I didn’t have that kind of money. So when CountryWide reached out to me, I said, “Well, I guess I better to do it,” and I have yet to regret it. It was either work with them or file for bankruptcy. I filed for bankruptcy over 10 years ago and it took me awhile to get straight from that. So I decided to take a different route.

I wanted to try a debt relief program and the payment options at CountryWide were pretty good. Their reps were also very good and always accommodating. My credit score has gone up since working with CountryWide. I would use them again if I need to.

I could call him anytime if I had a question and he and the other staff were very attentive to me and my problem. If I ever had to, I would call them again. I recommend them all the time.

I had crushing debt and I’d no way of getting past the amount that I owed. And so I looked into a relief help from CountryWide. I had a couple of times where I had to skip a payment and my interaction with that was great. Overall my interaction was good except for the summer when I called. ‘Cause I thought I was up in July and it turned out it was October and the people that I talked to were reasonably stiff. It felt to me like the customer care had changed a bit. But I’m glad it’s all over. I’m all paid up and it’s time to move on.

I went online, trying to look at ratings of several debt relief companies. I had to go with CountryWide Debt Relief based on how they rated. At the beginning, I've had an interaction with a team member of theirs once or twice a week, depending on whether they closed a case or settled something. They'll call to let me know first if I agree to it or not. If I was okay with the parts that they wanted then they will make the decision. If I wasn't sure about something, they present me my choices and then they'll give me advice. They work on my question right on and I'll get either an email or call from them within less than 24 hours.

I was not making any payments because interest was going up. CountryWide Debt Relief offered to help me. Their people were very good and pleasant, and made everything easy for me to consolidate my debt. It's a great company and they helped me a lot. I’m debt free now, so I got good credit scores.

But that’s not helping my credit ‘cause it’s still on my credit score. They were polite about it and they answered my questions but it didn't matter whether I liked it or not. They wouldn’t have dealt with it. I had to go through and mess with the other companies myself and it seemed pointless why I even dealt with Countrywide because they didn't take care of even half of them. I wouldn’t recommend them to a friend.

They negotiated to bring my debts 60% down, it made me liquidate all my debts in just 30 months. It was a quick relief of my debts of a high debt. It was not only debt relief but also relief emotionally and the stress associated with having a big debt, and also relief from callers and collectors.

I had a good experience working with CountryWide Debt Relief. I got it for 36 months and I'm still going through the program. However, I would like to get a statement in the mail, so I'd know what the balance of my loan is, because I'm really not that big on computers. Or maybe they could text it to me once a month.

I wanted to clear up my debts so I went with CountryWide. I didn't really have any problem with the team members at Countrywide and they seemed to answer my questions. I'm waiting to get all that crap removed from my credit reports. I think most of it comes off this month. However, I never got a statement from them of where every dollar went and who was paid.

I was in Freedom Debt at first and I was just about done. But there was something else that came up, a judgment against me, and I was supposed to go to court. So they recommended a few places and CountryWide off the top of my head. We ran into a problem one time so we contacted CountryWide and they called us back. We were trying to get something off our credit. We went to Freedom Debt for it first but they declined because it had already gone through CountryWide. We had to contact the people themselves but it shows that the item was paid and there was nothing we can do.

They helped me pay off some bills and my credit score went up at that time. I would have different people if I called in but that was okay because they would answer my questions and take care of my concerns. It was a good experience all around. Initially, CountryWide was wonderful. They answered all of my questions that I had and they broke it down. I had never been sued before, and because I didn’t want to deal with it, I wanted to clear it up and fix the problem. If someone’s having challenges with their credit or various things, they may not necessarily have the payment and tools readily available for them. And the person that I was dealing with, Janice, made me feel bad for not having the finances available and I did not appreciate that. I made the initial $300 payment that I had to come up with in order to start the process, which was really challenging. If people don’t have someone that can give them $300, they can’t start the process, which was not right. After that, I had to pay $100 which was more of a feasible amount that I could afford. But the upfront cost was hard.

CountryWide works for the consumers. Working with them made things have get better. I learned from my experience, that I now know the importance of having credit cards, and how they impact me in the long run. The only thing I didn't like is I was paying them, and then I had to pay IRS at the end of the year. But overall, it's a great experience.

They erased $16,000 of debt, and I am now debt-free with these credit cards. I'm doing my credit back up now, but I'd be in more hurt without them. CountryWide was our re-lister and we bought a house from them. We had gone into debt for the house we bought and we were behind on everything, so CountryWide gave us a plan. They spoke to us about how much we could save and how the payments won't be that high. They explained our situation pretty well. They took a few weeks but they analyzed everything we had to pay and made everything simple for us. They came down with a good payment plan to keep us out of debt. The payment was a little hard but affordable.

At first, I was afraid because I don't know if I'm overpaying this, but everything worked out really good with CountryWide. I really appreciated what they did to me. If I had questions or wanted clarifications on my credit report etc, they were able to send me the information. They were very informative and set me up with a clearing bank account, which I had direct access to also. So, from a reporting and communication standpoint, I was kept abreast of the situation the whole time whether it was them reaching out to me or me calling them,. It was a three-year relationship and they have made my life easier. Getting on a payment plan with them has freed me up and it wasn't as worrisome from a month-to-month basis and it was fair. I didn't want to go through bankruptcy so I wanted to try to figure out how best to do the settlement and to budget appropriately. So, setting aside that dollar amount each month definitely helped. I really appreciated their assistance in giving me a fresh start.

I was having difficulties with some companies that were crashing down on me financially and I received something in the mail from CountryWide. I didnt want to go to the alternative and I was in a pinch then. They were very helpful on the front end and everything worked out in an amicable way and was very positive. However, I would request a little more communication on their end about how things are going, what could they do to help and vice-versa just to fill you in on where you're at because I had no idea other than I was making payments every month. Every once in a while, I would get an email but the communication was kind of lacking in my opinion. I'm sure they have multiple people that they're working with but maybe a little more follow up on their end would be better. So they still have room to improve but I've recommended them to a friend. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I needed to take care of my debt problems and CountryWide really helped me a lot. The only issue is that I thought that once I paid off the debt, they'd take it off on my credit report but it's still showing as debt even though I've paid. But their people always answered my questions and if I needed something emailed, they took care of it. If I had to use them again, I would.

CountryWide team advised me that they’re going to take care of everything. They reassured me that everything was going to be good and that they were going to contact all the creditors, and they did. It was very comforting. I’m still trying to build up my credit, but it’s definitely working well. I asked them one question as to when the creditors are going to fall off on my account. They said that once they get notified, it would fall off. The only thing is that I keep looking back to check and it’s still there. They answered my question, but I’ve been wondering how long it would take for it to fall off on my account. Other than that, my experience has been good.

CountryWide would always call me back when I called them. They were very polite and were very attentive. CountryWide has been a blessing, it made life much easier. I'm a teacher and all July we do not get paid until we go back to work end of September, so they would work with me to put the payment behind. I would highly recommend them.

It was a wonderful experience working with CountryWide Debt Relief. I got laid off in 2007 and I was in a position I worked for my company over 20 years and I had a lot of credit cards. I had a trial court for one of my credit card companies. I got a letter in the mail about Countrywide. Then I had a few phone conversations with some of the people in the court setting up the account and getting everything started. Initially, I thought I was gonna use them for six different accounts but I ended up doing the other ones on my own. They handled one account for me, which is the original. I would never use CountryWide again. I can never get in touch with them and I had to call several times, leave a message and they call me back and refer me to someone else. It just wasn't that good and they didn't want to give me information about what had been taken out of my check and who was getting what and I didn't find them very helpful. I was sorry that I signed up with them. I didn't get good value from them at all.

However my credit rating is still low because even though Countrywide fixed me with debt relief, it was still counted as credit charge off. I would like to get my credit rating up a little bit better and that seems to be taking longer but other than that, they exceeded my expectations. I spoke to different people along the way and everyone in their team was very courteous and helpful. They answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. I would recommend them.

I was in a lot of debt and decided I'd give Countrywide a shot, and I had a really good experience with them. Their team is very easygoing, courteous, attentive and they get the job done. When everything was completed, they called me to make sure that everything went well. My credit's still not great 'cause even when you settle with credit card companies, it doesn't look good on your credit report but at least I got out of all that debt. They pretty much cut what I owed in half which was awesome.

Countrywide helped me get out of debt and improve my credit when I was in some trouble and needed some help out. Their team was very courteous, helpful and walked me through the entire scene. The main guy that I dealt with was always available to take my call if I ever had questions. I had roughly a year left on my timeframe to have everything paid off, but I was in the process of trying to buy my first house, and once I got toward the end of it, he helped me close out my few remaining accounts at a very timely manner and wrapped everything up. So, I was able to get approved for my house. They worked for me, got all my settlements down to a reasonable number, and I didn't have to do a whole lot. I went through a divorce back in 09 and when I signed the divorce decree, I took on all of my ex-wife's debt. It was $50,000 in credit card debt. When I found Countrywide, I called them up and they got everything consolidated. It was a four-year program paying $1,200 a month and I finished it - it was a success. Their team helped me on everything that I called them on. They did everything I asked them to do and I did everything they asked me to do and everything got settled. It was all worth it. The only thing that sucks is sometimes the credit cards whenever they settle and I pay them out, they never want to zero out the accounts. It just shows "paid off" or "closed". A couple of American Expresses still show a balance and they won't show, "zero" which I need to be zero.

They helped a lot because at the time, I was under real heavy medical liabilities from going through treatments with cancer which are quite expensive and taking a lot of the financial income I would have had to help do the normal stuff to stay alive.

Once I have to go into court and lawyer didn't show up, the guy on the phone from Countrywide called to the judge and saved my bacon. If I get my credit reports fixed, it'd be a lot better. Countrywide is still trying to fix it.
