I wasn't working and I was getting behind on my bills, which led me to seek the services of CountryWide. The reps were very helpful during the program. I had to stop working again for medical reasons and they worked with me as far as not having me make payments for nine months without any penalty. They also lowered my monthly payment when needed. They are good and now, I’m debt-free.

I was looking around for small debt relief ‘cause I didn't have a huge debt. I was also looking to better my credit. CountryWide helped me along and they were very easygoing people. They always let me know when they had things that were coming up and when my account was gonna be taken out and explained everything to me. But I wished they could give me more information on the different things that they were planning to do or working on.

My debts were taken care of for me and I didn't have to worry about anything. Everything was taken care of for me. Their rep was very nice and polite. It was very comfortable working with her. They were good with me on the payments. It wasn't too much and it wasn't too little either. Now, my bills are paid and I can do things that I wanna do. It's easier now. I don't have debts. I could go on vacation if I wanted to.

The debt consultant didn't talk to me too much. It was hard getting ahold of CountryWide a lot of times. I was calling them to try and get them to give me payoff amounts and they were giving me the runaround, waiting, saying they were still going through and waiting on the bank to accept stuff. I didn't know if they were telling me the truth or not because they thought they put me on hold one time, and they didn't, and I heard them talking and calling other people names that I talked to. It was a little bit shady. I was just looking for a break from the credit card companies so I could get the money together without having to go to court. I used them and I probably paid them more than I needed to. If only I would've just waited, but it is what it is. I'm debt-free now and that's all the matters.

CountryWide has been great. The rep was great too. We had good communication. I was in the program for three years and I finished it all because I paid it off. The cost was fair.

The customer service representatives were ''Eh" because they had to get more information from the manager. But there was one lady that once we talked to her, she just handled it. Her name was Mary and she was a supervisor there. We just hope they won't have to go that extra step to a supervisor to make sure something gets resolved. They should all be knowledgeable with the same thing. Our process was short because we sold our house and we were able to take care of all of it. CountryWide did a fantastic job lowering the payment that we owe the actual creditor so it was awesome. They actually called us saying that this is being taken care of, we don't have to worry about anything, we don't have to leave the house, and that they're on this. That made us happy. If we didn't have them, there would be more trouble and problems to deal with.

I was ending up with no money and needed to do some consolidation. I looked around because the people that I was talking to were out of state, and CountryWide was just local, so if I had any questions or if I had to visit, I could just drive over there and talk to them. The rep I worked with was one of the most persons that helped me out a lot than the others I talked to 'cause every time I had a question, it was a different person every single day. I got her number and I talked to her. She made me feel much better than I was before in that situation. I'm debt-free. But right now, I'm trying to purchase a vehicle, and it's not looking pretty good my way because the company checked my background and they looked that I was in a debt consolidation so they won't work with me with that. But then CountryWide helped me out a lot on paying off all my debts.

I had some outstanding debt because we had a house that we ended up losing. I saw some ads and then I checked ContryWide out. It seemed like it was legit. They always kept up with what was going on and giving me letters. I could call my relief negotiator anytime I wanted or email them. They got back to me within a couple of hours or sometimes a day, but never longer than that.

We were wanting to buy a home and my credit was great, but my debt to ratio was way off. It wasn't something that we could do with that much debt. So I decided to try CountryWide. They were really good. But the communication could've been a little bit better because on our end, we didn't know what was transpiring with the settlements. There were two cases that I got a judgment on my doorstep that I was going to court. That part was super nerve-wracking because I was thinking everything was handled, and then I got two judgments on my doorstep. But as far as I was handling it all, they calmed me down.

I researched companies through the web and I kinda liked CountryWide. I saw that they were affiliated with Business Affair. They had a lot of good report about them. There were a lot of good comments. Even when I called them, they were very nice. They explained the program to me because I had never done it. When I saw how many credit cards I had, and then the day I spoke with the woman, she said, "You don't even see when you use so many, how it can become a habit." But now, I only have three cards and it's manageable. I learned to not buy the pair of shoe I want, and it made me look at not to consume what I don't need. I've become so different.

My ex-husband's sister-in-law told me about CountryWide because she used them and she said they were very helpful. We ended up using them to get rid of our debt. Our debt was high but they gave a fair pricing for every month so we took it as that. We made sure we paid it every month on time until we got free of it. They did really well. They answered our questions when we had them. They helped out when we couldn't get logged in. They're a reputable company to work with.

I was failing to pay our credit card bill on Bank of America. I got a notice that they had filed suit against me from CountryWide. Their phone number was on it, so I called. They were very helpful in getting me a payment plan and getting me out of legal trouble. They sent me some paperwork to sign and I let them know the exact amount of the debt.

I was in debt and somebody told me about CountryWide’s program. They pretty much set up everything for me. I just gave them a list of the people who I owed and they did the rest. Then they told me how much they were gonna charge me per month. The negotiators were professional and nice. The program has been completed. They paid all the companies. They did a pretty good job. When I called them, they said they were gonna send a final email to let me know that my debt was all paid off. My credit score went up and I'm debt-free. I'm pretty happy with the service. If I need them again, I will be back.

The program allowed me to get the debt back in hand but they weren't as clear about how the process would go as I would have liked. Also, a bit more communication would have been appreciated. I could speak with them but I expected progress reports and contact in terms of what was being negotiated and what was being taken care of. There was never any kind of proactive attempt to contact me and anytime there was a communication, it was always self-initiated.

I incurred overwhelming debt regarding payday loans that were absurdly high in rate and they fell way behind. Every time I'd get paid, my account would be negative because of the fees and interest occurring. I reached out to CountryWide and first, they said they didn't deal with my particular debt. Then they reviewed my account for file with management and I got a callback saying that it was approved and they could move forward with helping me. I went into a six-year program. Whenever I needed to run into a few emergencies, I asked them to extend my program a couple of times and they did so. They gave me a payment plan stating that my total amount would be this much. I thought they were gonna get on it right away in addressing what was pending. But they told me that we had to wait six months. That adds on more to the debt, so the total amount that I'm gonna owe is higher.

I did a look on the internet and I liked what Countrywide had said so I went with them. They took over all of my accounts. I would make payments by the month and they would make deals so I could pay off different accounts. Working with them has impacted me to know that my credit score has gone up.

CountryWide's negotiator was great. He asked me some questions and did the work. The people are very friendly and easy to talk to. Even if I got the wrong department, they were able to help me. The payment plan was great, too. It’s the first time I've ever done anything with CountryWide. The cost was fine and working with them was good. I'm back where I should be.

It was a good experience with CountryWide. They always returned my call and everyone was very nice. I'm finished with the program and I'm very glad I did it. It’s worth doing.

I'm very pleased with Countrywide. They contacted the creditors and I even received a refund because some of the creditors settled for less. The timeframe was good and the cost was fine with me.

CountryWide is good. They helped me get out of debt and I finished it early. There were some times that I was trying to contact them and they were uncontactable, like I needed to leave a voicemail, but they called me back.

It was great with the rep. Working with CountryWide did a good job for my credit score. I just wish that the hard inquiries that have been on my credit report for years came off.

They were willing to work with me. They talked about what the program was. They set up an amount that came out of my check every week, and that was it. I never talked to them again. I got the debts taken care of. They helped me to a point. Sometimes, doing the payment was a little harder than other weeks because I'm the only one that works. But I just dealt with. There were some weeks that were a little bit better than other weeks.

I got behind on my credit card payment. Due to my father having some health issues, I couldn't make them on time. It was accumulating. CountryWide was able to help get in contact with the bank and come to an agreement as far as with the payments and the debt. They took the money out of the account and that was it pretty much. They were very helpful and the cost was reasonable. Now, I don't have the calls and I make sure I paid what needed to be paid. I don't feel the pressure of not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It's definitely a relief.

It took about two years to complete the program. It was perfect ‘cause it was within my price range. I was able to pay off the debt and that was the most important. Now, I'm starting to look into purchasing a home.

I needed to get certain debts cleared and CountryWide Debt Relief fulfilled it. However, I would've like for them to be more in contact along the way. Sometimes I would try to get a hold of them and when I called in, there'd be, “Leave a voice message and we'll get back to you.” It sometimes took a couple of days for somebody to get back to me. I finally got the answers that I needed. It just sometimes took a while.

The creditors were getting on my back, and I contacted CountryWide who took care of it. They gave me a payout of how long it would take me to pay off the debt, so I was in the loop. We settled on a good amount and then we started from there. I was never getting caught up making those credit card payments, and this way, they got me out of my credit debt. We covered everything and now I’m done. It saved me a lot of money.

I had a debt with Capital One and they were taking me to court. I was in a situation where I really needed the help at that time and I thought CountryWide Debt Relief could help me out, which they did. But I had a wrong understanding. I paid $500 upfront and I thought that was all they would charge me and have them to settle the loan out. I should have asked more questions before I got myself into the program. I had Bank of America loan also. It was over a certain period of time so they just squashed it, but I ended up having to pay some taxes. I was stuck in this contract. All the money that I was paying them, it was coming out my check every payday. And a little percentage of them was going toward the bill and the rest were going to them. I could’ve almost went to court myself and then made arrangements. I just wanted it to be over with quickly. But the best part of it was the end part where my debt got paid off. I'm happy and glad it’s over with.

The reviews made me decide to work with CountryWide Debt Relief and their program works. It got me out of debt. I just hate that they can't start negotiating with the creditors right away, why they gotta let you get so far behind. But then, that's the only way the creditors will work with them. The only downfall that I had was that every time I called, I was getting someone new. I could never get a hold of the same person. It seemed like I was always getting a hold of a third party, someone who didn't know who I was, what I'm talking about, who I needed to speak to. It was a little aggravating. I wish that each person could be assigned a certain caseworker, somebody that would just handle their case, and not just random people every time I'd call.

I fell behind on my credit card payments and I needed to consolidate some debt. The process of getting started with CountryWide was so simple. The gentleman helped me set my account up and he explained the whole process to me. I had one of my debtors that had filed a lawsuit and so they took care of that right away within a matter of days. Working with them has been great. They consolidated all my debts and I have been able to get some of them removed from my credit history. Whatever I overpaid to them, they sent it back to me, too.

In a nutshell, my experience with them was pretty awesome. They helped me out quite a bit and I really appreciated their help. Lynda was very helpful.
