Working with Cambridge was a positive experience and I'm glad we're done. I would recommend.

If I had a question, they were very easy to get a hold of. I could talk to my credit counselor at any time. They contacted me once every two months to see how I was doing and send me emails on a regular basis and were able to lower my interest rate.

I was very impressed with all the people at Cambridge. They were able to lower my interest rate and they have enabled me to get rid of that debt that I had much more easier than I would have if I had not had their services. My experience with them was very good.

I had used Cambridge before. I've never had any problems. My credit counselor did every so often tried to make contact with me to make sure everything was going okay. Other people at Cambridge were all pleasant as well. Every time I've dealt with them, they've been real helpful with me. They answered my questions. They cared to check on me either through phone calls or written. Cambridge magnificently lowered my interest rate. I'd recommend them. It was a great experience.

Having Cambridge was all right. Everything was fine. A friend of mine told me about them. He did business with them and I ended up doing business with them about four months after he did. I talked probably to the credit counselor half a dozen times to get setup, and only talked to him a couple of times after that. Cause we always made our payments. That money was always there and never had a problem getting it paid. I ain't saying we didn't have a problem getting it paid, but it was always in the bank when it was ready to take out. We just had to make sure it was there.

I heard Cambridge on a local radio station. I tried dealing with some of the creditors directly, but they wouldn't talk to me. I was a little bit of stress, just because I knew the situation I was in. We were not ever late or anything per se, but I knew things were getting to a point that they were snowballing on me. So if I didn't do something, I was getting buried. In a positive way, I was not having any debt anymore. But the one negative, although it doesn't matter right now, all the charge cards I had have closed the accounts now. So I got to start all over and get a new credit card or something.

Cambridge was good. It got everything under control. I had a sudden unfortunate mishap in my family and our finances went in disarray. They helped me out with a lot of the billing and all the interest rates and everything. Anyone I hear that has trouble, I recommend Cambridge.

I came to Cambridge first. I didn't have a lot of interaction with them but I could whenever I wanted to. I got the updates and suggestions and directions that they kept up with me with. I was happy with the experience. I got what I wanted. I got my bills paid without having to go bankrupt. It didn't seem to affect my credit rating at all.

The people at Cambridge Credit Counseling were always friendly and helpful. I could talk to my counselor as often as I needed to. They were able to lower the interest rates and opened the door to a lot of opportunity... to a future without debt. Extremely helpful.

Cambridge got me out of debt. I'm done with them now, so I was very pleased. If I had questions or anytime I needed the Cambridge credit counselor, I could talk to him. He was very helpful. At first I was a little concerned paying them at once on a fee but I got over the nervousness and let them take it over and I have been going out of debt.

Working with Cambridge was fine. No problem whatsoever. We're finished with it so it was nice to have it when we needed it. I'd recommend Cambridge to a friend.

The main reason I had to do something was because I was getting nowhere. I had three credit cards that I owed quite a bit on, and I was getting nowhere with the credit card companies as far as getting them to lower the interest rates. They would lower the interest rate on future purchases but they wouldn't do anything with the existing debt. Cambridge lowered it to about sometimes as little as a third of what it was. They definitely saved me a ton of money in interest. It was a good experience. I only used it for about two and a half years as I was able to pay off the balance I owed from proceeds of the sale of property I co-owned.

Everything just went smooth with Cambridge so I only interact with a credit counselor when needed. Everything went like it was supposed to go. They were able to lower my interest rates. I would recommend Cambridge to others.

I was watching The View some three and a half years ago. Someone came on talking about people having problems with bills and this guy recommended Cambridge Credit Counseling. I had been praying quite a bit before this; I needed help and I felt that was the answer and I made the call. I was ashamed that I got myself in such a mess, and then when I lost my part-time job, I was really in trouble. I wouldn't tell anyone what a mess I was in. But I was really at peace to call Cambridge, so I called them. It was unbelievable.

The experience was great. We could call or talk to anybody whenever we needed to. Everything was positive. We now have our debt completely paid in full and it feels good to be out of debt. They’re very good and if we know of anybody that needs that kind of help, we will send them to them.

I talked with a certified credit counselor a few times. I didn't need to but any time I called for questions about payoff or anything, someone was always available. It was a wonderful experience with the Cambridge Credit Counseling.

I would recommend Cambridge to anybody. They were fine. I was reluctant to call in someone like that but they were able to lower my interest rate. I never had any problem at all. They did a great job.

I was at the point of having so much debt and unable to make my payments. I knew I was never going to get out of it because my interest rates were 20% plus and I felt like I had nowhere to go. I was really concerned with doing this because I had heard a lot of bad things and bad companies out there and that there could be negative reporting on your credit report because it was like more of a settlement than actually paying off the debt. But after I did all the research, I went to Cambridge because they were the most recommended. I had no problem with them at all over the course of the couple of years I did business with them. I probably called and spoke with Cambridge 3 to 4 different times to see where I was at and how it was going. And whenever I knew a couple of them where at the point of being paid off, I called and asked how it went. They explained everything to me that they would still pull the same amount out but would be making higher payments to my other creditors that were still owed. They were awesome. Every single interest rate was lowered to about 1% except for one. They were helpful. I was able to speak with the counselor that I had originally setup my account with. I had a great experience with them.

We were buried in credit card debt and I wanted out of it. I heard that Cambridge was one of the more respected organizations. I called them. We worked with them and they turned out to be fantastic. They were very efficient. Every month I got a statement from them and they checked in every once in a while, wanting to know how we were doing. I was very happy. It was just a good experience. It was the best thing that happened credit-wise. We've got all our bills paid off and they handled the whole thing. We never had any problems meeting the payments. The program that they had set up was something that was doable.

The experience with Cambridge Credit Counseling was good. I was in debt and I wanted to get out of it. They would keep me accountable and they would check in on me just to see how it was going.

Cambridge worked out well for me. The correspondence was great. I was able to contact them as often as I needed and once we got the whole thing set up, it ran pretty smoothly. You paid off a debt and you moved on to the next one and you got the documentation, and it all worked out well. We had a couple of debts where the interest rates were lowered. I’m glad we stuck with the program and got that paid off. They were very helpful. It’s nice to know that it’s done. I was pleased with the whole situation.

I found Cambridge Credit Counseling in the yellow pages. They were just always professional and always nice. I could talk to my credit counselor anytime I needed to and they were able to lower my interest rate.

It was through a mutual friend that was going through what I was going through that I heard about Cambridge. I was just stressed out about bills. They made it more affordable, because obviously I never wanted to or intended to do bankruptcy and it felt good when that was paid off. I didn't need to interact with them very much; they randomly call and check on me, but it's hard for me to call back because of my job as it rang the hours when they were open. In the beginning, I talked to a couple of different people just getting my stuff ready for payment, but it was all fine and there were a couple where they did lower my interest rates. It was a great experience. I'm relieved of stress and I was able to chew off my debt without filing bankruptcy.

We heard about Cambridge through our Employee Assistance Program. I often interact with my credit counselor. Cambridge people were very helpful. They were able to lower my interest rate. I highly recommend Cambridge.

We thought we had so much debt that we would never get out from under and had just reached that point that we thought we needed to do something. I happened to hear that guy on the radio who deals with finances and he recommended Cambridge Credit Counseling. The first guy I talked to was very nice. I felt like I had more debt than anybody in the world, and he wasn't judgmental. He said, "We'll come up with a plan and the solution, and well get this all paid off." He had a great attitude. It was a wonderful solution for us.

I was stressed and overwhelmed of meeting the bills and keeping track of them. Then I saw Cambridge Counseling on The View. My interaction with Karen was very positive and made me feel hopeful. Felt concern. It made me feel like it was possible to pay down this huge credit. I never had problems if I called as often as I wanted to. It was an honest and trustworthy company. I felt at peace. They helped make it possible to pay down debt that I was just chasing my tail before we got into the program.

I had the need to get rid of a couple of credit cards. Interest rates were getting out of hand and I just happened to have heard of Cambridge talked about on the Janet Parshall Show. They were able to lower interest rates and have gotten rid of the debt. We're done with it and it was a great experience with them.

I was researching different opportunities for credit counseling because I'm getting up there in years and I wanted to get my debt down to a level that would enable me to start saving for retirement which I haven't been doing. I found out about Cambridge from my step son and one of the reasons I went with them is because they were recommended to me by family. I talked to my credit counselor as much as I needed. If I had a question and Cambridge didn't have the answer right away, they would follow up. Then they would either contact me by phone or by email saying, "Did we answer your question adequately?" They were very, very professional.

It was a great experience with Cambridge. I was very happy with them. The only thing I ever talked to them about after I had set it up initially was updating balances. They were always courteous and easy to work with. They explained my options thoroughly and set up my account with no problems. And they were easy to contact when I needed follow-ups.

I was watching The View when I learned about Cambridge being one of the best in credit counseling so I called them. They were able to lower my interest rates more than I could do. They're just great. They did a good job. They got my interest from 29% down to 7%. And I tried negotiating with them and they just wouldn't budge. And set up a reasonable payment plan. Everyone I dealt with there was great. I managed to get it down low enough to where I could pay it off and called and told them what I was doing and they just said, "Okay, send the check to us." So they took care of it all for me. They were very helpful. They educated me on stuff I didn't know. Anytime I had a question, they had the answers. Everybody I talked to was just very informative and really nice about everything. I would recommend Cambridge to anybody anytime. They were fabulous.

Cambridge was good - good service, polite people, respectful. They took care of us.

A friend of mine told me about Cambridge. Everybody that I talked to was nice. Every time they would email that they got my payment and that this was taken care of. I didn't have any problem with it. If I had a problem, I would email them back. Cambridge helped me out very well and was able to lower my interest.

Cambridge Counseling was extremely helpful getting started. We set up an automatic bill paying and it was really simple. I just had to make sure I had the money in the account. I was making my payments regularly so I really didn't need to talk to anybody often. I don't have debt anymore. It's tremendous. It was very accurate, very complete, and it was very easy.

I had gone through some program that my employer has where they had referred me to a financial advisor. I had also researched the possibility of bankruptcy. I had done that first and then my supervisor who had used Cambridge Credit and told me about them. So I spoke with Cambridge Credit and I decided to take that route. Anytime I needed to speak with my credit counselor, I was almost always able to get to him that same time. There were one or two times that I had to receive a call back but it was very easy to get through. And they were very pleasant to work with. Even after I'm finished, they're still easy to reach.

The Cambridge team was very helpful. Any time I called, they got right to the problem, if I had one, which I didn't. If I had questions, they answered them or sent me to somebody that could. I was very pleased with them.

The experience with Cambridge was rewarding. I would do it again if I had to. I hope I never have to. What really astonished me with them was how they knew at the end just how much was due as everything was coming off. A lot of places didn't. They just took your money but Cambridge had it really down pat and I was really impressed with their professionalism.

I heard about Cambridge online and got in contact with them because I was trying to take care of credit card debt. I set the account up and they made the payments, and they were very, very helpful. I was very grateful for their service and I am very appreciative of it. It was a very good experience and they were out to help people who need help.

The banker at Huntington Bank recommended Cambridge. We liked to clean the credit cards up. This banker knew of them and knew other people that had good experiences in the past. Cambridge has real nice people to work with. Basically after we got started on it, they just did an occasional follow-up. But they kept in contact but didn't pester us or anything. I was real happy. They got to lower interest rates, they got everything down to three or four different cards, anywhere from maybe the highest was 9% and they got a couple of them down to 6%. I was real pleased with the way Cambridge handled things.

It's best to use Cambridge Credit Counseling if you can't get your interest down and the monthly payments are too high. They sent me updates monthly and they called a few times, but everything was done so smoothly, I didn't have any questions or need anything. They did keep in contact with me through email.

My sister-in-law and her husband had gone through Cambridge for their credit card and It was fine. They were very helpful and worked with me and did what I needed them to do.

We had a friend that had used Cambridge before and really liked it. We had some credit card debts, so me and my husband when we got together put our credit cards together and consolidated it into one payment, so we could pay it off. We called and everything was great and worked out, so we did it. Their team was awesome. Everybody was very helpful and anytime I had a question, I called and everything was answered. Overall, great customer service.

I'm very grateful with Cambridge Credit Counseling. It's a life-saving program. I was very pleased with everything. My payments were affordable and I was able to make them every month. I had no problems and I'm very relieved that it's done and over with. I can start saving some of that money that I was paying them every month. So I'm in a very good position here right now. I'm very happy with Cambridge Credit Counseling. I had heard about them through a friend for the consolidation use. They were always very nice. It was very effective and it did what it was meant to do.

I was in dire need of getting my finances in order. Debts were piling up and I decided to call Cambridge Credit Counseling to give them a try, and I liked them. The monthly payment was affordable to me. But they worked out for me, and I'm done with the program, and I'm very happy. December was my last payment. They were excellent and it's an excellent company.

Cambridge Credit Counseling provided me a cheaper way to try to get out of debt instead of being charged outrageous rates. They let me do my payments at the amount that I could and they were nice people. They did pretty good.

I heard about Cambridge Credit Counseling from my cousin. She told me about how good they are so I decided to try it. They've all done an excellent job and I would recommend them.

Cambridge Credit Counseling was very helpful. They set me up because they knew that my debt was so bad at first. They didn't charge me any kind of fee nor did they ever the whole time that I was with them for close to five years. So I never had to pay anything more than the actual debt that I was trying to pay off. And then about two or three years into it, I lost my job. I told them, "Look, I'm not going to be able to make any payments as much as they are. Can we renegotiate with the credit card companies?" They went and did that for me and got my monthly payment lowered a couple of hundred bucks.

We were just overly strapped. We were paying our bills and mortgage payment and doing the things we were doing but we weren't getting ahead. I noticed that we'd never ever going to get rid of these credit cards and the goal was obviously to pay these creditors off and give them their money which they deserve. I just knew that at 22%, 23%, we'd be paying for 60 years until I was probably dead in the ground. And honestly, I was at work and honestly heating some food up and I'm looking at the board that says minimum wage and says all those kind of back injuries last year and all the crazy stuff.

Cambridge people were straightforward and seemed nice and understood what was going on and explained it well. They were able to lower interest rate on almost everything. They were understanding, easy and helpful.

Cambridge Credit Counseling was on the radio and I thought it will be a good idea. So I gave them a call and they called me back and the rest was history. So I signed up for all the cards that I had. They were able to make everything more manageable and lowered my interest rate. My interactions with the people over at Cambridge were fine. Working with them was very good. I got rid of my credit cards. Overall, I think it’s a good experience just getting away from when you're overwhelmed with debts and didn't know which way to go. The more you pay, the more interest you’re being charged. I think it’s a good way of getting out of debt.

Cambridge Credit Counseling is absolutely wonderful. They are one top organization. They never bothered you and they were helpful. It was just the best thing I ever did!

Cambridge Credit Counseling is good, perfect. I got to Cambridge Massachusetts ironically for some graduate school and Mom knew I had a lot of credit card that I needed and she connected me with them and then a gentleman called me from Cambridge and he started the program. The initial setup call was very helpful and he described he just keep following up with me because I was new in the city here and at that time I was sneaking behind the stairways in class to talk to them because they have to call during the regular hours, but then found that it was a very pleasant conversation and the individual wanted to help, the same person which is really neat, and followed up with me and eventually signed me up. They were able to lower my interest rates.

My mom saw something about Cambridge Credit Counseling on The View and I was still a little in debt and she leaned on me to go that way. They did get about 30 bucks a month for me for themselves and I didn't have payments all over the board like I did before. I am not unhappy with them. If I had a little bit better money discipline at that time, I would have probably not done it. They did help me. Nicole was the one who I dealt with and was very nice but at the end of the day, it took me three years or so to pay all that stuff down. You are supposed to pay more than what they pay and I didn't catch onto that at first. They basically just pay the low ball on your credit card. You are not really making much headway unless you start knocking stuff off on your own which I finally started doing and that is why I got my Home Depot card paid off, my Best Buy card. I'm paying the extra, but I wouldn't say its predatory, but it's a mixed bag.

Cambridge were helpful, easy to contact and knowledgeable. Once I got set up, I hardly ever had to contact them because I kept getting the monthly reports from them. And at the end, it was very complete. Everything I needed to know was right on my report. And then my debt was cleaned so that's good. Everything worked out good. They asked me if I had any more debt and I said No. Theirs would be the first name to pop into my mind if I heard something or where somebody needs some help.

My daughter-in-law had some problems several years ago and went through the extremes with Cambridge Credit Counseling and was very happy with it, so my wife and I tried it... and it worked! We got rid of our major debt problem and hopefully we are going to stay that way. They gave us a monthly report on what was going on and they were very easy to get along with. It was the best get-out-of-debt I've ever experienced.

Cambridge was the best thing that ever happened to me! I was watching CNN and they were talking about credit card debt and everything. It's over five years ago. I was in a stressed state at that time, so it piqued my interest. One of the people in the panel recommended it and gave a phone number. They tremendously helped me. They made you feel like you weren't a bad person for getting yourself into debt. You try to do your best but life just throws you punches that you have to do what you need to do to survive. So Cambridge Credit Counseling made me feel that they supported me and that they cared about me.

They were great and were able to lower my interest rate. They called me every once in a while just to check and see if I had any other bills I wanted to add... and now they're all paid off! I was surfing through Line 2 for consolidation of our debt. Cambridge popped up and I was just reading reviews, did a couple of research here and there, checked out the website, and they had pretty good reviews and actually pretty friendly people. My interaction with them was pleasant. Every time I called or asked questions or get updates, they were pretty quick and very informative. They gave me extra information that I needed and information I didn't even ask for, that I didn't know about, they reminded me about it. They were actually pretty good at lowering my interest rate.

I was just graduating college with a lot of student debt and I needed to get rid of some other debts and to find a way to consolidate. I have read some reviews on Cambridge Credit Counseling and contacted them. When I had to contact them like when switching my bank account, they were pleasant. I went straight to Cambridge Credit Counseling. Everybody was very kind and helped me out and got me a payment plan and helped me with my creditors. So it was good. I don't think they were able to lower my interest rate but I was happy just to be able to get the bill paid off without people harassing me and not have to file bankruptcy. That would have been the next step. I was quite pleased with them. Whenever I had a question, I could call. They answered it. It was a good experience.

I heard about Cambridge through a talk show program on TV and there was a state representative who was talking about debt counseling. You hear all these companies in advertisements but this guy endorsed it. Basically, he said Cambridge is a credible or good company if you have a debt counseling issue. So I wrote it down right away. You can hear anything you want [and they had it], but if somebody that’s a credible person says, “Hey, this company is legit,” then that’s what I’m more into and less into than ads on TV or something for a company.

I heard about Cambridge Credit Counseling from a gentleman on the radio, a finance guy here locally. I really didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them, just the initial. There were times where they'd ask for followup calls but I was handling everything fine myself. They lowered my rates on some of my cards. Cambridge was very helpful.

Every time I talked to them over the phone, they've been very friendly and helpful in terms of coming up with a plan of how to fix my debt. They worked for me to have a lower interest rate and helped me pay off my debt much sooner. I have more money now that my debts are paid off and I've learned life skills in terms of savings from that.

I've used Cambridge Credit Counseling twice. The first time, I had credit card problems, only a lot worse. But then I got into credit card problems again. So I dug up the paperwork that I had at that time and I gave them a call. My experience with them was good. I haven't had any problem at all with them. They lowered my interest rate and working with them gets me out of debt. Other than my mortgage, I'm pretty much debt free.

I didn't have any problems with them and they got my interest rate down like they said they would. It took me a while to get it all straightened out, but it’s all straightened out now. I heard about Cambridge through an article or a show that listed a bunch of credit counselors and for some reason I picked them. They’re really helpful. I can always get someone on the phone. For the first six or eight months someone would call me to check in just to make sure everything was going well and payments were too high. I called them, and they were able to get them lowered. They were super, super low. Like 6 or 7% interest rate. Very, very low, reasonable payment. So it was a really great experience. Have recommended them to people.

I have nothing but really high regards to Cambridge Credit Counseling. I would refer them to everybody, anybody that wants to be responsible for their debt, doesn't want to file bankruptcy, wants to own up. I didn't want to get out of my debt. I'm self-employed. I got myself in a horrible situation. I paid it off and it was great. I only had really one or two interactions with people at the very beginning. We set my payment structure. They handled everything. And I never missed a payment. It always came out of my account and I'm done. Excellent.

I was looking at some of the yellow pages and that was about 4 years ago. I did decide to call Cambridge and look into what they were offering. I thought it would work for me so I got into a program. It kind of boost my faith within myself to know that I can get with one thing and stick with it till the end, so that kind of help me to see that I could do that. And when I got with them, that's what it did for me...to see that I can stay on track with something and stick with it.

I saw an interview on one of the morning stations with the founder or president of Cambridge and I called them, they set up a program for me and it worked very well. The people at Cambridge were very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful. I had 23 different credit cards and they go into some very high interest rates - 22, 23, 25%. They got them all down to 8, or 9 was the most expensive one.

Cambridge is the greatest place in the world. They are amazing people. They help me four years with my credit cards. I am no longer in debt there and they got my loan and my home mortgage modified. The money that I spent to do this is minimal. I would recommend them to God.

Some financial person had mentioned Cambridge Credit Counseling on the radio. That's why I looked into it. I wanted to do something to get rid of some debt so I went with Cambridge and it was good. They were very helpful and I'm glad that I don't have that debt anymore.

I was sharing some information about my own situation with a friend and they talked about the Cambridge program that they went through. I looked it up and went from there. Since he went through it, it was enough for me to trust. I didn't go to my bank but I did seek some other debt consolidators. It's the trust issue. The people at Cambridge were able to lower my interest rates and stayed on it. I did what they asked me to do as far as paperwork and we got it going. Every month, I was able to get myself through email so I was seeing what was going on. Most definitely would recommend them to a friend.

I had a friend whose wife had heard about Cambridge initially on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She had called and spoke to them and at the time they were thinking about doing it so when he told me about it, I called them and they just seem to be very willing to help and seem to have a pretty good reputation and so we went with them. I can't say enough about that company because they had been so accommodating and anytime you call they're so nice and helpful and I was very pleased with the whole thing. I have recommended them.

Everybody that I have dealt with down at Cambridge Credit Counseling has been excellent. Jennifer had so much patience with me. I would recommend them to a friend because a friend did recommend them to me, and she was very happy with them as well.

I had a friend that was into debt and had gone to Cambridge to consolidate. I called and talked to them, and they contacted me as needed. I didn't often respond like I didn't call them back every time that I needed to but they were always very helpful and encouraging. It was a good experience. I have already recommended Cambridge to a couple of friends.

We had credit cards that we were just barely paying. We were paying but we would use what we paid each month and we were just stuck. And our medical expenses were increasing. So we needed to get those paid off and we needed a way to do it so we decided to contact Cambridge Credit Counseling. We were with them for three years and had an excellent experience. I have no complaints at all. Any time I needed anything, they took care of it for me. They took a lot of stress off of me. My husband has been very, very ill and so we had medical bills that started piling up. Cambridge jumped right in there. I gave them the information and they immediately took care of it and stopped all the calls and got everything paid. If we have a problem, I would definitely use them again.

My husband researched and looked into some of the different companies that try and help with credit card debt. He heard that Cambridge Credit Counseling was the best. We went straight to them. It's been great! Everything worked really well. They got us out of credit card debt. They worked with all our creditors and got down to where some of them there was no interest and some there was a little bit of interest. But we were able to get that money in the bank every month and they paid it. Then when I was fortunate enough to be able to pay it off, they handled all that and it was awesome!

My dilemma was that I had gotten myself into debt due to family emergencies - in order to save my granddaughter's life. I knew I needed help in getting out of debt because when you're trying to save a life, the sky is the limit. Unfortunately, she did pass and I was in a mountain of debt. At that time, a lot of us had gotten laid off. It just came out of nowhere. So I still had bills to pay and I contacted them based upon my sister's experience with them. It was very rare that I felt that I needed to contact them because everything was handled in a timely manner. Once I got my creditors set off, I never had any issues at all. And if I did have any questions, I could contact Cambridge. If I talked to a person, they were always very helpful to me. I've told my other sister about them as well. There's quite a few people that while they don't talk really about their personal experiences with their finances, I have made reference to Cambridge to them.

My interactions with the team at Cambridge were really good. They got back to me really quick when I called them, and their answers to my questions were right on so it made me feel comfortable. They were very professional and handled everything really well and advised me of anything if there were any discrepancies in the bills or anything quickly so that I could fix it. They were just really good!!! They were able to lower my interest rate.

It was just so hard for me to force myself to make the extra payments. That's why I went with the group. That way, I paid a certain amount, paid one instead of six which just made it easier and tough at the same time. It was great working with the team. They had done everything good. I'm glad it's over. They did everything they said they would and done it good.

I was originally signed up with another company through a recommendation of a friend. They ended up being poorly managed and went in bankruptcy and had a class action lawsuit filed against them. It was a horrendous experience. After a year or more of dealing with them almost on a daily basis, I researched on the web and came across Cambridge Credit Counseling and they were highly recommended. So I signed up. I did my first interview because obviously having a bad experience, I had lots of questions and they met a lot of points that weren't met by the other companies. They did it the right way so that alleviated a little of my fears about choosing them. They paid everything to the creditors that they took out of my account. That was a big bonus compared to the other one, considering the other company did not do that. But outside of doing a good job, they communicated really well. Every month, I got a statement that said what was paid into what card and when it was paid and everything was confirmable. The transparency and the confirmations every month was a huge help.

Going back a few years, living in the Greater New Orleans area, we were impacted by Hurricane Katrina... I found Cambridge online and got in touch with them. They were helpful, attentive and compassionate.

A friend of mine told me that she saw Cambridge Credit Counselling either on the Ellen Show or something. At the time I was just choking with credit card debt. Every month I would pay the minimum balance and not have anything left over. The balance wasn't going down and I wasn't having any money so I went to them. They were seriously like the answer to my prayers! From the get go, I had such a positive experience with them. The initial representative, financial advisor, had to have been the best that they had on board because I was sad that I didn’t get to continue working with him. Cambridge is the place to go to for anybody in any kind of trouble as far credit is concerned because they can help you. I was watching the news and saw them. I know there's a lot of people I hear always taking people's money and a lot of people act like they can do this and really can't and a lot of people were losing their homes and because of propaganda. I worked with Chris (he was assigned to me). He was very good. They were able to lower my interest rate. It took some time but I got out and I'm here. They work with you. I am finished. That's why I tell everybody about Cambridge. I’m very satisfied.

One of the credit cards went crazy and started raising interest. I was up against the wall and my neighbor told me about Cambridge’s program. He said, '”Yeah, we're almost paid off now and we're going to do it again...” and I said, “Really? Does it affect your credit?” He said it doesn't hurt your credit. I've had a really rough time but I never had to file for bankruptcy. If it wasn't for my neighbor I probably would have taken just anybody's word. I wouldn't have to look into it. But I'm glad I called and it all worked out. I didn't want to default it and I'm glad I paid it off! I'm very happy. It was a positive move. If I ever got into a jam again where that would come in handy, I would do it. Hopefully I'd never have to.

I was dealing with some debt and wanted a better management plan. So primarily, it’s credit cards with real, real high, inflated interest rates. At first I just thought I’ll see how much Cambridge can knock the interest down or if it’s a gimmick. Then when I found out that it was a pretty good deal, I decided to go with them. It didn’t help me payment-wise. My payment per month was still the same but a lot more went on the interest, and what they charge was real reasonable - 6% or 8% of the payment. I didn’t have too much problems with the credit counselors. I took the payment right out of my checking account every month so I really didn’t have to get back with them very often. Cambridge is legit.
