    My card is perfect. I just feel if I wanted to add card to my account I should be able to control how much go into that account. For example if 500 is on my original card it shouldn't be on the add on card. I should be able to put what I want on to it as if I went and purchased a new card from the store.

    I did enjoy using my card, but 7.59 a month for a monthly service fee is too much. On top of that I no longer have any local ATMs that don't charge me to use it. Before the Walmart MoneyCard ATMs would accept my card free of charge, but that is no love true. I do not plan on using this card any longer unless it is an emergency and I need to load money on it to pay a bill. However I already got a new bank account for these specific reasons. Goodbye Green Dot.

    I'm not liking the $7.95 charge every month on top of the $4.95 load. I load my card sometimes 3 times a week. You use to waive monthly fees. I been with you for a good 10 years. I have found another card for only $2.95 load and monthly fees are free. I will try it out for 2 months if works good I will be dropping Green Dot.     I feel strongly that paying 2 monthly fees for my account is not in my best interests. I pay the monthly fee for my card plus a separate fee for being a vip member.     I do not think your customer service is very good. I tried getting in and had a little trouble with my password because I don't often use it but I deposit every other week. It said someone was going to get back to me in two days. I left my phone number two days is too long and no one ever got back to me. So yes your customer service is very poor and your website is very hard to navigate. It just keeps flipping you back to nowhere and I probably won't get a reply to this either.

    I had a unauthorized charge to my card from a magazine company HOD ROD MAGAZINE. When I called GREEN DOT Customer service to block the charge to my card, I was told that GREEN DOT could not stop the charge and that I had to contact the company and ask for a refund. After hours of trying to contact I was told that I had to wait 60 days. I never got a refund. I feel that GREEN DOT should be able to stop a charge if the charge is done electronically if the GREEN DOT card holder disputes the charge. Thank you for your time.

    I have direct deposit set up. Didn't feel paying the huge monthly fee of $4.95 was good and now they have almost doubled it. It is now $7.95. Due to this I will be canceling my services soon. Going to get a regular bank account. Also, if I have an issue with charges on my card they freeze the card and I don't have my money. Wrong. So wrong. Customer service doesn't explain things well to their customers.

    My opinion of Green dot varies. There are pros and cons to this company. However, when I purchased this card I expected to be a la to do as I want with it being that I loaded over 500 dollars to it. I found out that this is not how this company works! I called green dot to see why I could not access money from the atm because I was being declined. Well they said that I would have to wait for a replacement card. If someone can't access their funds the day they loaded money on to their card that to me is so not right. I lost my job, was broke down on the side of the road with an infant in the car due to running out of gas because the store in towns computers were down. I can't explain how outraged I was. There should be something in bold letters stating you cannot access your funds until you get your replacement card!

    I also find green dot customer service representatives to have bad attitudes, bad listeners, and will not transfer you to someone when you cannot understand them. A green dot customer service representative told me they can only help you with 1 problem a day and that after they access your account it can't be accessed again till the next business day? I also had a representative tell promise to help me with my problem and failed to do so. No one could give me a number to call and discuss my complaint. That should also be fixed in my opinion. On the good side I can say they helped me keep money some hacker could have stole from me. They ship my card down quickly and got me a new one expedited free of charge. I think green dot had the potential to be a great bank but I think their focus should direct more towards customer service. They need a lot of improvement in that area and need to make it better!

    Better experience with you all than with the physical bank I used to bank with. The fees are manageable and you all make it pretty easy and upfront about what I will and will not be charged with. Every time I've called customer service I generally was able to get my answers - inquiries resolved. I would love it if every time I try to take off cash I wouldn't have to pay the atm fee and the hidden five dollar fee that Green Dot charges. I believe that it should be one or the other.     Overall I think it is a good program, however, customer service is not very helpful when you have to call in and given the fact there's not a bank to walk into, they need to up the limit of how much you can take out of your account. They restricted to $500 For the limit. When I called in and needed some information, they said they were unable to get that information for me. I needed the transaction number for something that was charged to my card. This poses a problem with the Institute that double charged me for a bill.

    The monthly fee is a little high compared to some cards, especially when you take into consideration that my paychecks are direct deposited into my account. Then having to get money out to have to pay my bills cost 2.50 a withdrawal (on top of the atm fee from the other establishment and that's usually 3.00 in itself). When you consider there is a limit of $300 a day, to pay just my rent, it takes 2 days, and $11, then 2 weeks later for my other bills another $11, so a minimum of $32 a month just to pay bills, let alone if I need cash for any other reasons, since $20 is the max cash back limit most places in my area! There are other cards I'm looking into that have better options. Also the texts showing the balance are off unless you haven't used your card in a day, that's kind of annoying.

    I like the idea of the cashback though I think that it's a little absurd to have to wait a year before you can use that money. I hit the $100 mark within the first month. It should have a higher value able to be obtained than $100 as well. Also the 9.95 is ridiculous. If you do direct deposit it should be waived. Also the app barely works and the site is always down. Anytime I call customer support the agents are rude and have no knowledge of policy and cannot help with anything.

    I do not like the way my card balance shows up on receipts at restaurants and some retail establishments. Why when I make a debit card return and enter my pin at retailers, Green Dot adds and also minuses the refund at same time. Takes 2-3 days to get credit for a debit refund.     I received an email on 1/2/2017 about a ATM claim that I had filed with Green dot and in the Message on my acc said this: "We have an important update on your dispute. We completed your dispute review and will be crediting your card in 1 business day. This dispute has been closed and a letter with more details has been mailed to you. You can check your balance online or on the phone to determine when your credit is applied." So after that Credit was never put to my acc and I've been calling ever since to get my credit of 200.00 and every time I call an CSR states that it will post next day to my acc and it never does and then someone from green dot reopened a new claim but now they're telling me I have to wait 45 days to get Credit. This has been the worst service ever... I opened case ** and this is where the message came from about the credit and claim ** was open by someone from green dot without my permission.

    Customer service is horrible maybe because they are outsourced overseas. I was going to Australia for a year, called Green Dot to be sure I would be able to use my card there.. "Yes Mr. **, no problem with using your card in Australia" since I had direct deposit on the card. I get there and guess what it won't work. I had to mail my card back home and have a family member take my money out on the 1st of every month and western union it to me in Australia. Fees every month to send me the money not to mention Green Dot fees for the 12 months I was there. Nothing was ever done about this. No fees returned, Western fees not returned... All thanks to your customer service rep who assured me I'd have no trouble. I've been a Green Dot customer 6 years... and I'm totally disgusted with Green Dot at this time.

    Disputed charges on my card on 12-21-16, my claim wasn't filed until like 3 days later.     I had lost my card and when I'm in the process of trying to order it I do not remember the username or password. One of them is incorrect so then when it asks me other ways to verify who I am like of my social and my birthday it'll say that there is no match. Then when I finally did get one to go through the right way it said I had two cards I don't need to know the last 4 digits of one of the cards. Well seeing as I lost my card how could I have known the last four digits of that and then after awhile it just hangs up on me and everytime I try to get hold of a customer service representative directly not sure automated system that's not helping me at all.

    It takes me about 2-3 hours to track down to various different website a phone number that will finally put me through to a person that I didn't know how to research things. A regular person would not be able to do that so it's a little no it's a very ** frustrating that I have the black card which is $11 a month for the supposed benefits I'm supposed to get for having a black card and I can't even get one reorder. I would really appreciate it if you could do something about that issue. It's not until you sent me email asking me for my feedback I still would never had the last 4 digits of my card number so thank you. Maybe now I can finally order my card.

    Hi! Before the past two weeks I would have given Green Dot a 5-star rating. I've never had an issue with my charges being posted and being posted correctly. However, recently I've had a number of charges from different retailers posted to my account twice. First there was one from Amazon and one from Virgin Mobile posted twice. I chatted online with one of your representatives and these charges were immediately reversed (just charged me once.). That made me so happy! But, then there was another charge from Amazon and one from DSW that I am still waiting on. These charges were first posted on the 2nd and 3rd of January, I believe, and then reposted days after - the same amounts, the same transactions. I know because I double-checked.

    When I contacted a representative they said that Green Dot would not post any charges that I myself did not make. First of all, I don't understand why this situation was handled differently the first and second time I contacted Green Dot. And secondly, this is not my fault this happened. My funds are tied up by these charges being held up in a "pending" status. It is now the 12th of January. One charge is for $7.86 and one is for $39.40. If you look back, you will see I have already been charged for these two purchases. I just wish this would be cleared up as soon as possible. Otherwise, I have been very happy with Green Dot. Thank you!

    I got my card. Someone tried to activate it. Took one month to get the card. In the meantime I had money I couldn't get to pay my rent. And I was evicted. And to add to that every check that was deposit to card was rejected and it took me 3 weeks to get my checks.     I like Green Dot, I really do but there a few things that I would suggest to make it better. Like being able to link an actual bank account to Green Dot, transfer money to them from bank accounts, and not have to pay a fee every time money is loaded at a register. If a customer loads money on the regular then they should not have to pay every load. As far as linking them to bank accounts, I use my Green Dot to shop online because I just do not like to use my bank card - I add money to my Green Dot for shopping purposes but always have to pay the fee just to add money. That's where the suggestion of being able to transfer funds from banks come from. Just a few suggestions.

Every time I make a cash withdrawal at a location which is on your website as being an ATM with no charge for doing this type of transaction, I get charged. A few times, the charges were reversed. The last time I asked, I was denied. They said they would send me the reason in the mail. I never received anything. I feel I am being charged unfairly. I get charged by the bank. Then I get charged by Green Dot. I do not understand why. Especially when I am using a bank that is listed on your website. I always go to the same bank. It's the USA bank at the Von's store in Oxnard, California. Perhaps you can tell me why these charges are NOT being reversed against my account.

    I received a gift card as a gift. I did not use it at first, but went to check the balance and realized I owed money on an unused card! I immediately canceled it and called customer service. The customer service agent said I would not owe anything, so I asked for a reference number or her employee ID in case I received an outstanding balance in the mail. She told me she had no way to confirm that she had waived the remaining balance and she could not give me any information other than to "rest assure" it would be taken care.

    She would not even give me her first name or employee ID number. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor for some sort of tracking number, email or name to reference. She said she would transfer me and then she cut my call. It went straight to the post phone call survey. When I tried to call back, the helpline said I had to wait until I received something in the mail before I call and talk to a representative. Absolutely the worst customer service and unprofessional helpline.

    I enjoy the freedom of having my paycheck deposits go only my card, but I have two cards and sometimes I'd like to transfer money between them. However when I tried doing this once it didn't inform me of how to do so and I lost $10. I tried 3 times and only once did it return the funds back to my card.     My son bought a Green Dot card with his Christmas money. When he tried to activate, he was told online he had to wait 24 hours. He tried to call the customer serv. number with no help from the automation. The next day he tried again. This time he was told there were technical difficulties. We tried to open an account and it said the account didn't match. When he tried using his old email address they said he had -$15. What kind of a scam is this prepaid card where you owe money and you can't access your own money the same day you buy the card? It is impossible to speak to a customer service representative and the system will hang up on you. Don't ever give your money to these people because that is all you will be doing. There is no real service. The packaging is totally misleading.

    I received $551.00 direct deposit from my job Dec 28th 2016. Went grocery shopping on Friday the 29th of Dec 2016. My card was declined when I tried to purchase gas for work. The remaining $218.00 I was told is on hold for documents of verification of who sent the funds to my account! I emailed over 10 copies of documents that they ask for and no results. I have tried calling and all I have been getting is that they hang up on me. The last two times that I was hung on was on January 6th 12 pm and 4:32 pm.     I purchased a pre-paid debit card to load a Year End Bonus on it. I loaded it with over $1,000.00 at OfficeMax, and I can't even activate the card on the phone or on their internet site. The response is "this is an invalid card". I have tried to get through to a customer service rep, but it won't let you get past "enter your card #" then it tells me it is invalid. Why can't I just speak to someone? To make things worse, even OfficeMax can't help! They spent over 20 mins activating the card when I purchasing it, and now they can't help me because they said it is this third party, "Green Dot" who is now responsible.

    I'm now in the process of contacting OfficeMax's corporate accounting to let them know that I can't even reach Green Dot to use the funds! I guess I will have to contact the Secretary of State to inform them that this business willfully took our money for a service, and now they refuse to perform the service or even provide customer support to resolve any potential services! This is crazy! I had no idea that this card would be such a terrible experience, and potentially fraudulent. Stay away, and I plan on writing many review sites and my contacts at our local news stations.

    Updated 1/17/2017 - Hello. I just tried returning a call finally from writing many emails and writing reviews describing my situation. I was finally able to speak to someone for the very first time calling a "non advertised" phone # 866-652-4611 ext **! They said that there was nothing that they could do to activate our card, so they are now issuing a check to refund me our money. The said it will take 10 business days. This will now be 46 days that they have held our money and we have not had access to it! This is terrible customer support! I asked to have the money placed back on my original account that was used to purchase this visa card, but I was told "they don't do this". This is crazy. I'm writing our State's Banking Regulatory Agency about this because this is not acceptable to take our money, not provide us the service we agreed to, and then not return our money it in a timely fashion!

    Two days ago I was stranded in the snow in a ditch and asked my father to get me a MoneyPak reload. I'm in Oregon and he is in North Carolina, we have done this many times before. And he gave the woman an old MoneyPak reload that we did in the Past and tells her he needs to get another one to add money to and explains to her that we need to get it done ASAP because I'm in a ditch. So she tells my dad that Flying J only does MoneyPaks in $200 increments and that he will need to buy four different cards which comes out to be 823.95. He then takes pics of All four cards after scratching number on the back and sends me pics so I can load these to my card or go bank account so I do this and am told that none of the numbers are valid.

    I have since been on the phone with Green Dot for total of 9 hours and the corporate office of Flying J to see why I can't get my money. Flying J says it all went through on their end and Green Dot tells me I need to file a complaint with MoneyPak. Well MoneyPak has no human to talk to. It's all online and takes 8 weeks for refund. But my problem is that how the hell can MoneyPak refund me if Green Dot is saying all my cards are invalid.

    Next is that on my receipt is a number that's XED out till the last four and those are visibly Not the numbers on the back of the card. The numbers look like credit card numbers but these were reload paks I bought so can someone please tell me what the hell is going on. 800 is a lot of money and my dad is too old to be dealing with this much stress. How can anyone have a business that handles so much money and not have a customer support line for things like this? I'm ready to explode and I'm ready to take on this whole company. I am so furious at the mindless remarks from Green Dot over and over about how they understand my frustration... No you don't understand. If you did I would have my money right now.

She apologized for the poor CSR behavior I experienced and is assisting in the dispute that originated the issue. She also extended a courtesy credit, which was very nice. The CSR's should be trained by this lady, Doris, who is top notch.

    Verizon charged me in error for a payment. I called Green Dot first as it was showing on my account as "pending." After 20 minutes with a representative that was obviously reading a script, and not being able to get a supervisor, the rep told me she checked procedure. She advised me to call Verizon, have them stop/reverse the charge, then for me to call Green Dot back, and Green Dot would immediately put the funds available on my card.

    I called Verizon; took them 3 minutes to happily reverse/stop the charge, and gave me a confirmation number for Green Dot. I called Green Dot back, and they told me they would hold my money until 7 days later. When I explained what their own rep had told me, they denied the previous conversation, never apologized for the error, and robotically read the statement of 7 days again. I asked to speak to the United States, and was told there was no US office. They are holding $250 of my money hostage for no good reason and I am furious. I followed their instructions to get this corrected immediately, took an hour out of my work day, and they refuse to honor what they said. I had no idea I had a foreign bank account... Bad, bad business.

    I purchased a Green Dot card to use pay Bills and online shopping. I read that the card needed to be registered so that's what I did. It asked for your name, address, social security number, birth date. Despite the fact I felt uncomfortable giving some of this information I provided it. Once registered I tried to use my new card only to be told that my payment was denied. I contacted Green Dot only to be told my card hadn't completely registered. I asked how when I provided all my information. I was informed BECAUSE my address was recorded the card didn't register. Not to mention I purchased my card at night there wasn't a customer service representative available until the next day.

    My SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER recorded but my address didn't. WOW!! I asked for my money to be refunded. I was told a refund would be processed and mailed to me. It had been a month and I still don't have my money. It's bad enough that I won't be getting the money back $4.95 I spent to purchase the card. Now I still don't have my $130.

    I purchased a card. Did several transactions on the card. 3 of which were 3 different dates for an authorization hold at a hotel. On the days that the money was due back to my card it wasn't there. I called 50 times at least and kept getting people in another country that didn't understand me and were no help and wouldn't get supervisor. Finally got one only to be told that I had to wait for all 3 to clear why when they were 3 different dates! No one ever calls you back with updates as promised. They are crooks. I can't login online. Keeps telling me information doesn't match their records. But they can't tell me why. Something is not right with this card company. I just want my money and they will never have to worry about me again. I would give them NO stars if I could.

    We bought 2 Green Dot cards for Christmas at walmart in Denton, TX. The first time walmart rung up the transaction, the receipt said "WM DEBIT DECLINED. DEBIT NOT AVAILABLE." and Walmart said it didn't load. So, walmart billed us again. They told us we would get the credit because it didn't load. Well here I am 2 weeks later and no credit. Well of course they get to keep our money for who knows how long. What a scam. Oh, and also, why does 1800greendot not even ring? The phone auto disconnects. 3 beeps and disconnect.

    I had a Green Dot card for 8 years, and have had ever increasing fees and decreasing customer service the entire time. The last straw was when I went to make a transfer using the same bank debit card I have for the last 6 years, and it was declined. I knew I had money in my bank account so I started making phone calls. First Green Dot customer service, which is out of India, the woman that answered had terribly broken English, and did not understand my question, which is the norm when calling Green Dot. I even had a reference number for the decline, they couldn't help me, they don't have the reference numbers.

    I then called my bank, who saw the transaction go out then right back in and gave me a number associated with the transaction. I called the number and it was a 3rd party transfer service Green Dot uses, I had been flagged for verification. Fine, no problem, I am myself, so I started answering questions, card number, social security, name, birth date, middle name, then they ask the house number of a place I lived 15 plus years ago for less than six months. I had no idea, then they wanted to know a house number to a place I never lived, to which I also had no idea. In the end they could not verify me into my own account. I asked if there was anything I can do, I can fax them my ID and Passport, which I will not do. So, card is trash, good riddance.

    I enjoyed Green Dot so much before. I use the card quite frequently and I had lost my card unfortunate and before two weeks of Christmas. I had saw an unauthorized transaction for $411 after realizing I lost my card and when noticed it was compromised! And a cash advance was used. I did not authorize it! So I submitted a police report and had it under review a second time for my refund. It caused me hardship and frustration. I was transferred off, didn't get my call back properly the second time from a higher supervisor, and I still haven't gotten my refund under review. I'm so upset with their confidence in using their prepaid banking. I'm not safe with them I feel and that's so wrong for me being a loyal customer! And still haven't resolved my issue. I'd hate for this to reach a court lawsuit.

    I got direct deposit for my check for Taco Bell. Got paid today everyone but me got the right routing and account number so I call and ask why haven't I got paid. They kept saying the same thing. I ask to speak to a supervisor, they said the supervisor was busy which I doubt. I was on the phone for a hour. Call back again, the same. I won't be using them anymore.

    I filed a dispute with Green Dot on a few transactions on my card. They said wait 7-10 days. I can't. I am on the way to my dad’s funeral and if I don't have this money back on the card I will miss his funeral or have to hitchhike across the country.     I got a card from Walmart and I got home and set it up. I put all my information in and it saying it does not match public record and my card can't be reloaded and I will not get a personal card. I have to just use the money and that's it for the card but the problem is I need the money to pay a bill and it's stuck on there. I been trying to pay this bill and it won't. I can't even take the money off the stupid card. I can only swipe to buy stuff.

    I need my money for the bill and if they send me a check it will be two weeks before I even get it and then my lights will be cut off and my kids will be in the dark and I will not be able to run my sick child machine to give her medicine. And I have call numerous times and no one gives a **. Everyone keeps saying sorry there nothing they can do. I can't even get a supervisor. I been asking how can I send them info to verify my identity but everyone don't care. I am on a fixed income and don't have the money or the time to get a different card and pay another way. I just need help please.

    I purchased two cards from Walmart. I activated one online and sent it as a gift to my mother. The post office lost the mail and I can't cancel the card because I don't have the number. How can you know the numbers to a card if it's sent as a gift and lost? And their "customer service" hangs up on you and tells you to call back when you have the information. I have my receipt... that should be good enough. The numbers MUST be able to be traced from that. Why should I be out 75.00 because you can't put a live person on to talk to? It's ridiculous... I've called Walmart money card and Green Dot and get the same recording. I attempted to reset my password online to the registration thing and it won't even let me do that. Again, if the card is lost, how would I have the number?

    I was traveling to Boston in Nov. I stopped at a gas station to put money on my card and it was the old scratch off. Well the money never made it to my card. I had no money for a hotel and I still do not have my 200.00$. This is a simple problem to fix. I have the receipt. Their lack of effort to even try and fix the issue is disappointing. To even try and get anyone on the phone is unheard of. I have been on several sites and this seems to be a ongoing issue. Why are they still in business? It is beginning to sound like a scam. They give you such the run around and so many hoops, it's no wonder most people give up.

    My son received a MasterCard gift debit card. He is unable to use it, however; there is no way way to contact a human. I've tried for months. They make it impossible to work through issues on the phone or online... The idea seems to be that most people will give up and they can keep the funds. My son tried to register the card and maybe had a typo in the SSN. So now he can't get to support via automated service which is all they offer. No online chat. No email for support. You're just out the money. Do not use Green Dot. It's an unscrupulous business.

    I made a transaction on Christmas eve 24th at Target, and I get blocked with 600 dollars of my money. And when they say customer service, that's a lie. Nothing like other prepaid cards. They have a consultant to speak to 24/7. I can't even get my emails through to explain that this messing up my livelihood. Bills are now late. Now there late fees, and I can't download my license because the back is faded a little. All they need is the darn front anyway. I've cried. I'm mad, and can't seem to get my mail sent to them. And they know all this. They know you can't talk to them in times of trouble or email them. It's almost like theft. I'm 50 yrs old with health problems, on fixed income, and you have my money. I can't do nothing more. This is crazy.

    I purchased a Green Dot card at a local Dollar General on Christmas eve 2016 to pay a bill over the phone. When trying to activate the card it says card is invalid. I have attempted to contact the customer service to speak with a representative but it hangs up on me or tells me card is invalid. I have receipt from DG but it cannot be returned through them.     Twice now, I have filed a transaction dispute, and twice it was dismissed, because I was told that I did not submit any documents to support my claim. That is a bare face lie! I have spent what seemed like hours on the phone with these people. They tell me that they received the documents, then send me letters saying that I hadn't. And if you want to take them to court, you have to do it in California. I've been to California once in my life, and that was one time too many.

    I recently moved from Los Angeles to France and had to come back while my visa is being processed. I obtained this card as I have a temp job and did not want to re-open my bank account I closed before I left and this was a good temporary solution-OR SO I THOUGHT. I lost my card 12/20/16, called and reported it. Paid $15.00 expedited fee plus $3.00 lost/stolen fee. Was told by two separate individuals that the card had been sent 3 day through FedEx and to be received 12/23/16. Card never came. I felt due to the holidays I would give it til 12/27/16. No card came. Called FedEx twice and they could not locate a delivery based on address. No one at WalMart MoneyCard customer service could give me a tracking number.

    Called back 12/27/16 livid and told they would ship another one out. Charged me another $3.00 lost fee even though card never came and how was I to know it ever went out? Called the "corporate" headquarters in Pasadena and that number only routes back to their call center overseas. Disgusted. Told card should arrive 12/30/16. If I didn't need the money for my chemotherapy medication I have to purchase cash for because my insurance is now in France then I wouldn't be so upset.

    I will be contacting my state representative about this service (since I'm still technically a US Citizen) as well as any other consumer affair groups. Shame on you for your shady practices Green Dot Bank. You're a disgrace and you ruined my holidays, my birthday (which is **,) and I am having complications due to not being able to obtain medication. All I asked for is a tracking number or a way you can confirm the card would be received. Disgusted and your call center customer service is deplorable. I expected better.

    Earlier in the year I purchased a Green dot card and some other things from my local 7-11. I accidentally threw away my nonactivated card away with my other things I purchased forgetting it was in there. I called Green Dot to hopefully receive a refund check. They told me they would launch an investigation. I waited around 3 months and didn't hear back so I proceeded to call back and they said they had no record of the investigation even though I had a case number and documents. They made another case number and said they would look into it. After not hearing back I called and they still didn't have a record of the new case or the old one.

    After 8 months I'm still calling back about the case and on 4 separate occasions they would hang the phone up in my face. One representative told me based on my receipt information they were able to find the money that was on the card but I still haven't received my money and I can't speak with anyone about this because they keep hanging up on me. Considering legal action to get my 400 dollars back because I have enough documentation to hold my own in small claims court.

    Went to Walmart to return items. Amount of return was 219.38. Checked card balance. Credit not there. Called Green Dot and was told that the credit posted to account but they show that Walmart ran a transaction for the same amount right after the credit. All this happened on 12/27/16. I called Walmart and faxed over bank statement. Walmart didn't show charge on their end but saw it on my bank statement. Walmart Corporate said that they would send Green Dot a pending authorization release paper to release pending charge. Green Dot said they have to wait till the 4th of January to see if Walmart collects. Makes no sense. As soon as credit appears on card, I will cancel. Promise.
