I would like to say thank you first and foremost. I am currently receiving government assistance and would like to get direct deposit. I was given a form for my bank to fill out which is GREEN DOT DEBIT CARD. I would like to know of a proper place to send the form as it needs signatures. Thank you.

A charge was made on my card by a merchant and I notified customer service that the services were not complete and could they remove the charge and the next day the charge was back on my card. Services were never rendered from the merchant. Customer service in my opinion was just as dishonest as the merchant! I never got my the product or my money returned! I had nothing bad to say about Green Dot until this happened!

I have been using Green Dot for several years now without too much of a problem. There is definitely pros and cons to the services they offer. Some pros would be that it's fairly simple to use their debit card as well as the website and app. It's pretty basic and user friendly. Some cons would be the monthly fee of $7.95 which used to only be $5.95. I think it's a little ridiculous how high their monthly fee is. Although You can have that fee waived but only if you spend $1000 or reload the card with $1000 in the same month. But it's nearly impossible to do because of the spending/reload limits that apply to the card and account.

Great way to start to build credit. Interest rate is kind of high but for someone who's fresh with credit this is a great start. I love how the debit card and the platinum credit card look. I like how you can set your own credit limit and abide by it as you choose.

I got this card and it has been nothing but a headache. I loaded it with $20 and I don't know what happened to my money. I can't get it off, I can't use it. I got stranded because I couldn't order an Uber. That's the whole reason I bought this card so I can get over lift, buy stuff online but everywhere I go it's the decline.

I've had an acct. with Green Dot since its very beginning. Never had a problem with them! Referred family and friends to GD way before they became as popular as they are now. Great no nonsense company. Just waiting to get a major credit card from them. Hopefully, it will be sometime in the near future.

I have had this card for a long time and have only had a problem once. Called the customer service line and they took care of the problem right and with no problem. Their customer service operators are very friendly and helpful. I would tell anyone that was thinking of getting this card to do it. Great card. Don't know what I would do without it.

I lost my wallet and had to purchase a Loadable Credit Card at Randalls to make a payment. However I was Unaware of the High $9.95 Monthly Fee. The Fee was taken out on THE DAY I purchased the card. I'm glad I paid my bill immediately upon purchase. Now I just have a Negative -$9.95 balance I have to pay BEFORE I can use this card again. Not very Happy about it.

Makes bill pay easy without a bank account. Never had issues. Lost my card once. Got replacement to card in less time than expected. Really helps control my finances with no overdrafts. Easy direct deposit makes sure my funds are always on time even a day early sometime!

Very easy to use. And I am glad I have one and will continue to use it for everything such as Reloading, and bills etc. This is the Best Card I've used so thank you for coming out with this card. I would recommend this card for anyone to use and it's great for Direct Deposit.

I am not satisfied with customer service. I signed up for a Green Dot card with the specific reason that my fees would be waived monthly as long as I had 1,000 or more in deposits each month. A few I didn't achieve which I'm fine with. But I have several that I still get charged for. I called 4 times to deal with the situation. I got 2 months credited to me. Several other months that I didn't get reimbursed and continue to be charged 9.95. I'm disappointed and the first opportunity I get I will change banks/companies. I won't do business with a company that doesn't honor what it promotes.

I never have been able to log into my account online. The text to check my balance has stopped working as well. This makes me wonder what else could go wrong. These are important things to be able to do with a bank account and this dysfunction has me worried for my security. Remedy these problems, please?

UPDATE ON 11/09/2018: I was happy with my card for four years and suddenly it has been hacked so I can no longer use it! I can no longer have my work check directly added to it. I cannot talk directly with a person and that is upsetting. I would have liked to get another card but have no idea how to go about doing that because I cannot speak to a person. I was so happy with the Green Dot card that I had my son convinced to get one so he could have his work check deposited on it and his friend who lives in another state could send him money... Now I don't think it is such a good idea because anyone can make a card after they find a good number to hack. I still don't know how they can use it if they don't have my PIN or security code. (I know you have to have one for debit and the other for credit.)

I've had so much going on with my card. Green Dot solved all those problems with no problem... plus I get my direct deposit faster, also with the app it's easier to check your balance without even logging in with your information.

I am very satisfied with my use of this card to pay bills, purchase items online and buy groceries. I am thinking very hard about getting direct deposit. I will continue to use this card and will definitely get another when this expires.

The problem is I need a second card for deposit only for my trust bank to be able to deposit money into my account. I tried to set up a second card and it wouldn't let me. Something about having two cards with the same SS #. So I had to send them my card to put money on it. They tried to putting $1500 on the card and couldn't. They could only put $500 on the card every 24 hours. What's up with that? Other than that I love the card. :)

Peoples owe me. Grrr. I moved new address. And no work. I am maintenance. I've no problem. With you my SSI SSDI always direct deposit early monthly. Everything is good. Also I've hard time to changed in my apps. My personal address said NOT noticed. Strange my land made me move to house no more apts. We fought hearings apts. I live new. Same phone. Relay 24 /7 days. I am extremely pissed off right now with Green Dot but I don't have any other options left open to me right now. Your website says load a direct deposit of $1000 or more and fees will be waived BUT IT ISN'T ON EVERY CARD!!! Now I am overdraft because your company lied on the terms and services.

I have had no problems with my Green Dot card since I have had it. The issues I did that have come up were taken care of right away with very satisfying results. I use my card on a daily basis. Thank you.

Overall the card is easy to use and load. But fees are terrible. Fee to load card. Fee for using atm that is not affiliated. Even though one may not exist in your city. Monthly fee, even if you load through direct deposit. So all the cash you get back at year's end is less than all the money you spend on fees.

Customer service is rather rude, hard to understand and the fee each month is way too high since you also have to pay to reload. They also hold funds way longer than they need to. Along with disputes when charges are incorrect. Security measures are very good though.

I love using my card. I think everyone should have this card. They have good fees. Not too expensive. The atm fees are good also. I think everyone should get one. It is good to have as a back up. I know a lot of people that have this card. It is a good card to have.

I have tried to log into account several times and have not been successful to this day. I have called customer service and they have not been able to troubleshoot nor solve the problem. I updated phone number with customer service and still cannot access my account. Customer service agent suggested I try a new email, which I did and I still cannot log into my account. They also suggested I try from a desktop computer in which I did and to no avail have I been able to access my account. Who can I talk to to help resolve this ongoing issue.

I love this card, it's convenient and easy to load with no overdrafts or expensive fees to pay. I love the online and automatic services along with the protection of my personal information that this card provides. Its secure website does not pass along my information and lets me keep up with my transactions, purchases and balances.

I am very satisfied with my Green Dot Debit Card service. I have been continuing to keep using my card each week, hoping to be one of the lucky $5,000 weekly winners. However, I wish that my direct deposit would post to my account sooner than it has been. Some of my coworkers direct deposits are posted at 8 am in the morning (2) days prior to our initial pay day. Mine is surely posted before our initial pay date, but it is always posted to my account in the evening two days before, or the next day. I don't really have any other complaints. I would like to thank you for allowing your customers to give positive as well as any negative feedback. I hope that you will read each one of the comments so that it can make a positive impact on your service. If there are any other contests or giveaways, I would appreciate if Green Dot would send this information to the customers, so that we can have a heads up on what we are able to win. I have been unable to log into my online account! Trying the password reset has not been successful. I need a password reset to be able to manage my account. I would appreciate a password reset. You seem to be able to send me emails for surveys but I cannot get a password reset!

Never have had any problems with my card, direct deposit works great, always a couple of days early, and that helps out a lot. Green Dot you’re doing a fine job, I will recommend your services to all my friends and family. Keep up the good job Green Dot, I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you.

I like Green Dot. Helps me carry money without losing it or not having a bank account. You can recharge at any store... well most of them. There is no extra fees or overdrafts that I hate. It helps me a lot with online shopping especially.

I love my Green Dot card. I tell all my family and friends about it and I tell them to get them a Green Dot card. They will not have any problems with it and cannot get over drown. You can your checks Direct deposit and if I out stay with them you could get your check early.

When using Green Dot wait at least an hour before using it. When I was trying to put money on the GTL phone 15 minutes after I deposited the money per Green Dot and GTL denied the transaction due to insufficient funds. Now I can't talk to my loved one. FYI. Wait an hour before you use it...

My Green Dot Visa card account for me is a great thing since a lot your monthly bills prefer auto bill pay which is easier now for me using my Visa card... I also do a lot of online shopping so all around Green Dot is incredible...

Better than a bank with all the late fees, monthly fees, overdraft fees, and whatever they want to charge you fees. Money only takes approx. 15-20 min to post to your card and bills are paid immediately after. Representatives are available 24-7 to handle any situation or problem if any and so I find it very convenient for my life. Also for shopping online in stores, cash back, ATMs, hotel reservation. All accept Green Dot and that's why I bought a second green dot card. THANK YOU GREEN DOT.

Love Green Dot Prepaid Card... Especially when my pay check comes early which is amazing and awesome... And it's also the greatest card because I can pay some bills online and I just love this card so much. I wouldn't think about switching to another prepaid card company.

It's seems to cost me a lot of money when I need to use an ATM. Also I can't ever get the app to work on my phone. Will be cancelling my card and switching to a different financial institution in very near future.

In general I'm very pleased with the card I have. Only thing I dislike about it is the high monthly fee. It's almost $10.00 a month. I have direct deposit on mine so I'm having on average 1200 dollars every 2 weeks.

So far so good. Glad you're not Wells Fargo, which 1/4 of my paychecks go to for fees! I can't complain that much right now. And I'm glad I don't. No hassles. No charges for things I wasn't aware of. Thanks. Really appreciate!

I got it as a gift card for my birthday. I guess the person who bought it for me thought it was only a gift card. When I realized the hassle it was to get my money I was upset because I had to open a credit card in order to get my birthday money. I don't want any of it.

I like the way it works. The only one that I'm comfortable with using. I don't think I would use another card company and I don't think there's anything to say about changing anything so I'm glad that I seen this card company. They are awesome. :) I wouldn't change it for anything else.

I haven't had any issues with my card. The loading time is anywhere between five and ten minutes. The monthly fee is definitely affordable. No problems with my card. I'll definitely choose Green Dot over any other prepaid card. Great job. I LOVE IT.

I love the fact that I control my spending amount and when the money will be loaded... But I don't like the fact that you charge $7.00 a month fee and $5.00 to load the money... But other than that I have been using Green Dot for the past 8 years and I love it. It's very convenient.

I'm not satisfied with this card because it takes off 5 dollars when I use an ATM. I have to travel too far to go to a credit union where I'm only charged only $2.50. This even happened when I made a purchase and it charged extra to get cash back. This is ridiculous.

In the beginning of 2016 I got out of the hospital and had lost my job but I lost access to getting back my Social Security income too so I used the Prepaid cards to put extra money I had made through odd jobs and an allowance from my Social Security. I had just recently stopped using the cards and went back to using debit with the banks but without a steady income I lost over $1200 I saved in 2016 from investing in ADRs Companies that do business in the USA.

Monthly Fee too High! I had this card for about 8 months and I noticed you have been charging me about $8 a month. I know I can get it elsewhere for $5 a month. So by end of July the account will be closed.

So far, I've been with Green Dot for 3 months and not once have I had to call and have anything corrected or replaced! My balance has always been 100% accurate and if there's not enough in my account to cover something they have covered it for me! All in all, Green Dot has surpassed every other prepaid account I've had!!

My card is good. I just wish it would not charge me 3.95 every time I put money on it. I can understand the 7.95 but not the other but it's cool. Other than that I like my Visa card. I keep it under control and know what I'm paying out like my bills. So yes I'm enjoying my card.

Started off great but fees are becoming too high for consumers who cannot navigate the banking system, I have a traditional account so I'm contemplating closing account as it's too expensive to be a debit card. Balance not in real time.

My Green Dot account is totally awesome. I had a few problems not too long ago with a possibility of my card being scammed but the situation was fixed because not once did I think of reporting it lost or stolen. I also treat it like one of my sons. Lol. The only trouble I had for about half a year was trying to sign onto my online account. Please help me sign on so I can change my stars to 5 instead of 4.

Love the Green Dot card. I've had nothing but the best experiences using my card and can also pay my bills online. The joys of not having to carry around cash is the best ever feeling. I will be letting everyone I know, know that this is a fantastic way to keep up with your money.

I tried and tried to reach Customer Service about a question regarding deposits and direct deposits and after 1 hour I gave up. I would still like to have my questions answered but in the meantime I am using an alternate card from another company.

So far I have been satisfied with my card from Green Dot. However the limits for MoneyPak were frustrating. Now that I have the second card that I can load directly it's helped. I use the card to manage my elderly brother's finances who is 400 miles away so I hope this will continue to work.

Hey GreenDot, I have to say I'm satisfied with this bank. Just a couple things I think would help is more locations for you to withdrawals from the ATM with no fee & lower amount to charge to add cash to your card. Other than that great stuff.

I enjoy my account. It helps me with my orders. It is easy to load. Best way to keep track of your spending. You have no way to overdraft or overspend. Get a Green Dot card today and you will never go back to cash.

I have had this card for 6 years through employer. Now I'm forced to pay 10 a month to use it. Absurd. I don't understand why or why am I being charged when I never did before. I would like to know why you did away with my previous card in the first place to give me this monthly pay surcharge card. I feel like I'm being ripped off.

Was overcharged on several different occasions and now I can't pay my light bill because of this issue. Please hurry to fix the problem and return my funds before I'm in the dark with my children. I have already put in a claim or dispute and have not heard back yet. Please respond to this matter. As of 7-20-2017 I will be in the dark. My utilities will be cut off because of a mistake on that end. Please hurry to fix this issue.

Green Dot is great and convenient when on the go or need to save money. But I truly disagree with the cost of deposit and withdrawal of fee. If Green Dot can make a difference of the deposit and withdrawal fee it will really save customers more money from hard earnings.

I love the card so much and its value to get direct deposit and no value to people and cash back and we are able to go to any ATM and cashback and able to get pretty much anything you want out of the stores. I love the card. I can pay my phone bill online and no charge.

I don't think I should be charged $10 just to use this card, especially if I'm using Direct Deposit. I use RushCard and they only charged me 5.95 a month since I'm using direct deposit. But other than this, I'm ok with the card. NetSpend will allow you to go over ten dollars if needed.

I do not like the fact that I can't get a credit card from Green Dot. Please work on helping others like me with no credit by giving them a try with a beginner's credit card. Thank you for all you guys hard work.

I enjoy this prepaid/re-loadable card - as my identity was stolen and I have no other options for a card, until everything is fixed --- but man oh man, the fees are insane... 4.95 for every cash reload, and 7.95 a month if you don't have at least 30 transactions in 30 days, or load $1500 to it within 30 days --- that fact alone is why I'll be leaving Green Dot at the end of my next payment cycle -- as there are MULTIPLE other options that have $0 reload fees and very low monthly fees --- sorry, but I recommend NOT using Green Dot, as $20+ in fees a month can really add up for in a fiscal year.

Great with all money that is taken from the card. No long compromises. No anything, thank you Green Dot for being so secure. Always there when I need answers. Please keep up the great job. I will never use anything else.

I have troubles to shop online: All purchases are denied! The first goal of purchasing this card for me was to shop online. If I'm not able to do that, I do not know why I do have to keep it! Please, be kind to let me enjoy the time to enjoy my online shopping!

I filled out the dispute from and attached it in the procedure page. Green Dot didn't acknowledge that the form was received and closed the two cases I had submitted for the dispute. I lost close to $50 on a cancelled order that was sent after being cancelled the same time it was placed as company did not honor advertised prices and free shipping.

My experience it's been great so far??? Hopefully it remains that way. Although my old cards I've had never got removed. That has been lost for a while now. Is why I got this new card ending in **, but still love my experience????

I was Overcharged for a 7 dollar check. Was charged almost 6 dollars for it.. The monthly fees are ridiculous even though I am set up for direct deposit. Worst company ever. I would not recommend this card to no one might as well deal with bank.

Cost to reload varies at different stores and that is unfair. People work hard and the monthly fee should be done away with. Also, credit protection should be set into place for single mothers to help build their credit!!! I love the card because it's easy to pay household supplies.

From the time of purchase, it didn't take 20 minutes for me to be able to use my Green Dot card. I couldn't believe it was so easy. It even has a website that you can keep up with any information you may want to know about your use or how you may use it. I would recommend it for anyone.

I love the card. It's awesome. Wish I had overdraft protection and more surcharge ATMs. I wish I could pick a different card with more designs. Sometimes when I text for my balance it doesn't work for some reason. I've tried to get a Green Dot loan and I get denied but I don't see why. I been a loyal customer for a while.

I don't like the fact that if I deposit a check from my phone that it's not available right away if it's before 2 or 3. I have a Bluebird AMERICAN Express Card and I have the option to add my check and my money available in minutes. I would like to use you guys because I like you better but unfortunately I can't b/c you don't have this option and you should. It's something to think about. I would switch completely to you if you had this option.

I really enjoy the card but every time I request a new password I don't remember by question. I have called several times and I get nowhere. Plus I was told no service charge... I also need to change my address and it won't let me. Please let me know.

I have only had the card for month. Love cash back. I like the card so far. Also I like the $5000 payroll giveaway seen like only people are winning the ones who got their card at CVS or online.

My Green Dot card has been a great experience for me. My paycheck comes a day earlier. There are not a lot of fees, like a traditional bank. My Green Dot has made my life much easier. My card can be reloaded at many locations. I also earn cashback on my purchases.

I enjoy using card and I love Steve Harvey. Only thing it's hard to deposit check. Personal ones haven't got that right yet. So it would be better you help someone who needs it. I tried getting help but it never worked with the checks.

I had purchased the card to help out with a few things. Due to my bank suddenly closing and moving to a different state. So I decided to purchase the card to help with the few finances. There, I reloaded a second time and noticed that all of the money I had placed onto the card was gone due to a maintenance fee. The maintenance fee that was not clear to me and also the amount. I had to use the amount of money that I had for something very important. It is also different fees to reload at different stores. Which is very inconvenient. I will not continue to use this card.

I have not had any issues with this service. But, I wish there were a few more ATMs in my area or city that didn't charge a withdrawal fee for the Green Dot card. Other than the ATM fees, I am happy with this service.

This is a good card if you don't have credit or a traveling card to use instead of cash. I use mine to pay bills online and buy things off the internet. I wish you could load more than the 500.00 limit on these cards but all and all this is the card for me.

I like Green Dot a lot and would recommend it to my friends and family. It's very helpful and easier to save. I like it because it's hassle free and I can load money onto my card any time I like. Also I like the fact that it gives me an opportunity to build up my credit. Thanks.

I love the convenience of this card. The app is amazing, and I've never had any real problems other than maybe a few online sites that don’t recognize Green Dot as bank. The only recommendation or suggestion I have is to lower the monthly maintenance fee, especially for active users.

Disappointed. The app doesn't work, so if I want to know my balance I have to call. I called to complain, the lady told me, "You need to use a regular computer. It doesn't work on a phone." Then why the hell do you have an app?!? I'm actually ready to go with a different card company.

I have been trying for 2 week to sign in to app. It tells me pass is wrong but I can check balance online and I can't text to get balance either. It sends but I get no reply. I am still point where I might close my account and switch it to Bluebird or Chase account.

I pleased with this service. I like the fact that when you make a payment it's complete. The money isn't put back on the card. I have had so many problems with checking acct. This card has saved me from that trap.

I was planning to use my card while on vacation here. I went to put money on my card but they said I had a limit of 2500 on the card. I wanted to put more but couldn't. I have been with Green Dot for almost 10yrs and never knew I had a limit. Had I known I would have found a better way somewhere else.

I'm satisfied with the experience but the charge is not so satisfying. I pay $4.95 to reload, $2.95 to use it and to withdraw, and $7.95 every month. Other than that I’m satisfied with the experience I'm having. It has save me some time of running all over Los Angeles to pay my bills.

Only used this card as an emergency to get paid because I was having problems with my bank when I first got it. I like the money transfer option to other people with the same card. The fees, however are a little out of control. Monthly fee, ATM fee, withdrawal fee, fee to check your balance..

Well I love my Green Dot card, but would be better if I didn't get charged a 7.00 fee when I do use it or a fee when I don’t. Just makes no sense and I do know I can have funds electronically put in but I dont work so it’s useless to me. Use it I am already being charged for adding funds to the card itself. I just may use it just a few more times before I have to let it go which is sad.

I thought I would be able to reload the card without having it. My daughter is on vacation for a month and I thought once I register the card I would be able to reload through that. I wish there was a way that I can scan my card through the checkout from my phone and be able to reload it that way.

I have had less problems with Green Dot than any other card. I'd recommend it to anyone. I actually have recommended Green Dot to a few people. They all got cards and they are all very satisfied with the service as well. I even just received my cash back allowance for having a positive balance 12 months in a row.

I was very pleased with Green Dot up until my very last transaction… I had to rent a vehicle due to my work truck being stolen. No car rental company would rent to me because I solely rely on my Green Dot card. Luckily I convinced U-Haul to rent me a moving truck. I paid with card... was assured by U-Haul that I had paid enough to cover a week rental. When returned truck they hit me with $347 extra. I told them I could not pay that and would dispute charge. They said after 10 days it would be sent to collections. I was satisfied with that as I will dispute. After 10 days U-Haul charged my card without my approval, and took my last penny... 0 balance. I tried to contact Green Dot several times. All I got was "fill this form out". I sure wish a real person could have been reached. I will cancel this card once I work this out myself with that crooked rental place!

I have emailed y'all several times with no response... Acct# **, why do I still get a monthly charge? I have had direct deposit every two weeks for several months now? I would like a response. I would also look me to be reimbursed for those charges. Thank you.

It keeps people out of my checking account. It allows me to pay for things that I need to. Thank God for Green Dot. I use my card to pay on my manuscript each month until it is finished being published.

BEWARE*** Purchased this card and put $10.00 on it for a gift for someone, only to find out that $7.95 fee was taken out for monthly maintenance fees. I was not informed of any fees to be taken out! BEWARE*** The packaging should have been clearer.

I get charges that are not mine and since I do not have a computer to log in on to dispute then I end up having to suffer the loss. I only use my phone to charge anything. You could only let my phone Charge my card. I don't want to reload my card anymore afraid that I will get ripped off of the money I put on it by fraudulent charges.

Great card! I even got rewards... was not even aware of that bonus. Would help if I could transfer money from my savings account. Has helped with paying off charge cards. Am getting a card for my husband. Even sent new card when my account was not secured.

I didn't sign up for auto shipments and some way or another I am getting charged for it! I asked the customer service and they refused to take it off and stop it. They didn't even listen to what I said. All he said was "you get auto shipments"!! No help or no type of satisfaction. This stinks... bill me and keep billing me for something I don't want.

Green Dot Financial is a great service, I get my check faster, I have the app to follow my spending, I think it's great!!! I will tell all of my friends and family about the Green Dot card, so that they cannot experience the same freedom that I experience with the use of my card.

I haven't had a chance to fully have the Green Dot experience. I just received my card. I'm looking forward to never having overdraft fees. I was very satisfied with the activation process and impressed with how short the mailing period was.

I'm not happy because I've already have had money taken from my card without my permission. I want a full refund. I don't spend money because I don't have a lot. So I would appreciate it if you would put my money back on my card or I will be forced to use your competitor's cards and will spread the bad experience. Thank you.

I would like to see you raise your load limit from $500 to $1000. I pay my electric bill with it and it is always over $500 so I have to pay to load twice. So I would like to see you raise the limit to at least $1000. That would be very helpful to people like myself.

I was very skeptical with prepaid card. But I've been able to pay for almost everything in desire. I haven't had to call customer service but I hear they work efficiently and professional. I'm very afraid that I don't have an actual branch but it okay.

It would really be a lot easier to be able to send and receive money from our phones instead of a laptop or computer. Being an OTR trucker we rarely have internet access when our families need money. The card is really convenient and easy to use and everyone accepts it. Thank you.

I think that if customers are getting direct deposit they should have the monthly fees waived. I have 200 direct deposited every week and I'm still getting charged fees. Please waive all the fees. Once I start getting the fees waived I will increase my rating.

I enjoy the convenience of the card. I dislike the monthly fee. When paying every time to reload I feel the monthly fee is excessive and a bit greedy. It's nice to have a prepaid card with my name on it that I can use at establishments that require a credit card.

I'm satisfied with the service. I've used it to buy my grandkids stuff online and it has worked well. I use it to load money on it when I do odd jobs so it works out well for me especially when I need to pay a bill or order from different sites so thank you for your services and support.

I feel like this card is way too expensive to use. It's supposed to be an alternative to having a bank account, and I get charged way too much to use this card. I'm already struggling and this was supposed to help. Please think about lowering the cost. The card definitely helps me. I just wish it was cheaper to use.

I love Green Dot. The only problem I have is that the $5000 payday sweepstakes doesn't seem real because the winners are in some of the same states instead of a variety of states... I've had my green dot account for years. I've gotten my paychecks/ federal income taxes direct deposited every year, I wouldn't even get a checking account with a bank like Wells Fargo, BB&T, etc. because I wanted to stay with green dot and it's like somebody like me can't win the sweepstakes... I feel like the people that really need it like myself don't stand a chance. And the only other problems I have is that you guys don't offer online bill pay where you can send money to another person/business from your account, and that there is a spending limit per day. Other than that I love green dot and I always have.

I took a trip to the Philippines March 15th 2017 and you failed me big time. I was at the mercy of others because your card will not work there even after I called and pleaded to allow my card to work there. I will close this card soon because of that.

I wish you were able to get more than $400 cashback in a day. On rent day I have to go to 3 different places to get enough cashback to pay my rent. That is the only drawback I have. I am otherwise happy with Green Dot.

Excellent so no problems of any kind with reloading or the Green Dot app. Just a great card to have. Definitely comes in very handy. I would most definitely recommend this card to friends and family. Look forward to using this card for years to come.

I'm tired of that monthly fee, other than that I love it. I've been in the negative a few times because they will force that fee through. I put money on the card easily and I've even deposited a check by taking a picture of it.

Takes 3 to 6 days to get a transfer from a bank. Been doing this for months. Now I know you get it on the 3rd. A rep told me this. It costs too much every month. I plan to cancel. Otherwise you have been great. Just cannot afford the monthly fee. My bank does not charge me. I understand that you need to charge something. Just cannot afford it on my limited income. You sure were a Godsend when I needed you and I appreciate you. Thank you for helping me.

I think it's ridiculous that you charge me almost $10 to use the direct deposit when it is supposed to be free. False advertising. Definitely would recommend if you all got your facts straight. Not impressed. Also, I can't check my stuff online because it uses my OLD card instead of my new one.

Great alternative to a bank account. Very simple and a good way to get my check!!! Plenty of ways to get cash and very convenient, no hidden fees! Life changer for sure!!! I would definitely recommend Green Dot to anyone looking for an alternative to a bank account!

I've had a very pleasant experience so far with Green Dot and will be telling all of my friends and family about it! My only issue so far is the Platinum Green Dot Secured Credit Card. I recently applied and have since received my card in the mail but am having trouble signing in online to monitor and keep track of my financing.

They have been down forever and I was used to checking my balance and history when I needed to. I have used GD for quite some time and I think you’re fair with your fees etc but I need to get info quickly. I'm busy and don't have time to go online every time.

It's okay but you can't use outside the country and every time I photo deposit my check it's always decline. Too many fees if you're going to reload big amount of money. Card has no chip and its takes a while to show the transaction on your account. You can't deposit more than 2000.

I like everything except it's hard to find out how much is on my card. I've been trying to find out since I got my card and can't you all to make it an easier way to find out so I'll know how much is left after I buy something... I've also tried going online to check it and couldn't.

Simple, easy, and no fees as long as you deposit at least $1,000 a month. They also provide a list of ATMs where you won't be charged extra. I use the card monthly. But probably will quit using it. They charge me to load the card and then you charge me $7.95 every month. This is a rip off. This isn't right. You’re there to help people and you take advantage of them. If this is the way you do business I will cut up the card and buy money orders instead.

I came across this $400 limit when I had to send a house payment home. I work over the road driving a truck. I tried to withdraw the money off of my card but little did I know there is a limit to what you can withdraw. Anyway it was very inconvenient for me. If this could be fixed or altered I have no other problems with the card service.

So easy to use, no problems reloading and accepted everywhere. It's as secure as a bank account without the added fees. A great card all the way around. Vacations, every day use or paying bills I use this card. I even purchased each of my teenagers one and it's working great!! Love Green Dot!!!!

I have had my card for many years and in that time I have had my government checks, tax returns and payroll directly deposited onto my card. I have had very few problems but when I did encounter any, they were addressed promptly. I also like the fact that my money is available immediately after deposit.

I love the Green Dot card. You can upload money from many places... Also you can only use what you put on the card. I like you can get direct deposit and also that your tax money can also go on your Green Dot card. The only thing I don't like is no matter what ATM you use if it's free or not, Green Dot will charge you $2.50 even if the ATM you use have no surcharge like Wawa is free but Green Dot still charged me.

Green Dot is the worst prepaid bank card ever. Live Rush is better and values their customers' needs unlike Green Dot. You can't get any help from their representatives and it's always a bad experience. They love taking your money. I will never ever use or recommend Green Dot services ever.

It has been pleasant. A very good way to receive my direct deposit early. I have been with Green Dot for over 8 months now and I love it. I am able to keep track of transactions through the Green Dot app. Also, I receive alerts via text message & email when a deposit is applied to my account. I really y'all would consider not charging every time to add money to your card. There should be a certain amt of deposits then no charge after that. If it's a certain amt like more than three deposit a week the rest in that week should be no charge. Other than that I like it.

I feel that there should be NO monthly charge as long as you are using direct deposit. Due to your dollar amt restrictions for the card to be free with direct deposit I will be opening a bank acct instead of continuing to use this card within the next 2 weeks. That makes me highly angry since I already have to pay to put money on it; now I have to pay a monthly fee because I don't make enough money which makes me not want to use the card unless necessary.

I LOVE my Green Dot account. But I do wish that there was a way to get a cash advance through Green Dot. Since I have been a customer in good standing for some time I could do auto deduct to pay it off.

This card cannot be used with Android Pay. I have had the number comprised three times. There is nothing in place to question fraudulent charges such as fast food. I'm another state when purchases made in correct state same day. The process to have your money rightfully returned takes long. A replacement card takes forever and denies you accessed to direct deposit paycheck. No attempt is made to help the victimized customer.

It was good. I really don't much to said about this card. It was good to use at the movies and for wish and I will continue use it when I put more money on it just in case I want order something online.

I am very satisfied with the Visa card from Green Dot, very easy to use and to load. It is also very easy to check my balance and find transactions that I have made. It makes me feel a little safer when I'm traveling, I don't have to carry cash with me and can use it to secure motel rooms. Very satisfied.

It's very helpful the Green Dot credit card. Only one thing I don't like about it that every time I have to put money on the card they charge me five dollar. It's very helpful to manage my budget especially when you have kids. I use it everywhere.

Overall I am very happy with Green Dot. Easy to use with direct deposit and Bill pay features. Very reliable. My only complaint is fees. There are fees associated with loading the account and using ATMs and there is also a monthly fee. I feel like there could be a way to do away with the monthly fee if you hit a certain number of transactions. But I will say overall it has been a very positive experience working with Green Dot.

Overall I am very pleased with the Green Dot service provided to me. At this time I have no complaints about anything. When I load money onto my card it's always there within just a few minutes. Now there is one thing that I think would be of help and that is if Green Dot could send some kind of reminder about when your monthly payment is due so you won't go load money to your card to pay a bill or send someone money then get home and you're short money on your card so then you have to pay more loading fees at the store.

I wouldn't mind using your card but that 10.00 monthly charge is outrageous. So you can close my account. I won't be using it. Unless you all do some major changes. I would understand if it was a major credit card but it's a prepaid card and I understand you all have to make some money but for real this is crazy.

I have no complaints about my Green Dot card. I needed it to pay bills. I can load money on it and cannot spend nothing else so I can stay within my budget. I cannot have direct deposit because I don't trust myself but thank God for Green Dot. My bills get paid.

This is a good card to use and can come in handy when in need of one. The card lets you put money on there along with reloading money onto it in a easy accessible way as well. They send you emails and stuff to where they keep in touch with you just in case anything happens.

To be fair I will be honest and precise with my experience. First thing is I bought this card for $21.95 adding $20 US dollars at Walgreens. The same day I add $20 I use $10.01 for gas. After that I try to use my card at the store and get declined because I get a monthly service fee for a month I did not know started right away with my money. This was very embarrassing for me and I suffered a great deal that day. I felt cheated, robbed, bamboozled and angry at GreenDot.com. I lose money for adding money and spending money?

Easy to use, don't have any problems, very secure and private. Love the online statement I can check at any time. Love that I know my money will be in my account two days early and I can use my card anywhere visa is accepted and can pay bills online with my card with no problems. Very useful card.
