I started using Just For Men about 18 months ago. At first, I had no reaction and the color looked surprisingly natural. I shaved my hair and, after a while, decided I wanted long hair back and started using the product again. From the very first application, I noticed something was wrong. My head was itching so bad within 40 minutes of washing the product off my hair. I got back in the shower as I thought I may not have washed it thoroughly. It made no difference. My scalp itched constantly. The following morning when I woke up, it was just as itchy but now I had big burn-like blisters on my ears and scalp. It is so itchy that you have to scratch which has resulted in scabs and oozing. I will never use this product again. It's clear to me there is something seriously wrong with the formula, and like people on here are saying, it must have changed for the worse because I was fine before. On a scale of 0 - 10, I give it 0.

It broke out with the same oozing rash everyone has described and I have a cyst under my chin. I did not connect it to Just For Men since I have been using the product for 8 months without a problem. I suspected it to be a staph infection and went to my doctor who agreed that it did resemble staph. Yesterday, I finally finished my ten days of hardcore antibiotics, the rash had cleared (except for the cyst) and I was ready to go out. I applied some Just For Men and a few hours later the "staph" was back! Something is horribly wrong with this product. The lot number on my box is Z12A145 (it is M-30). Now, I need to head back to the doctor. I work in the food service and when I was diagnosed with staph, I had to stay out of work for nearly two weeks. Now, I anticipate another doctor’s bill. Please contact me if anyone hears about a class action lawsuit. Good luck, guys!

I have used Just For Men Beard and Mustache for years. It's changed - I noticed the container that stores the color base solution, i.e. the plastic white tube. Well, I use this product to color my facial hair many times. Now it appears the unused color base I would reseal the cap and keep it for another application. The caps on the color base product dissolved, so when I attempted to twist off the cap, it broke away from the tube. This tells me they are using a very corrosive substance. So, I will not use this product ever again.

It's interesting but it seems that some people develop a reaction over time. I've been using Just For Men dark brown beard color for about 6 months. I did the initial allergy test and everything was fine and had no problems for the first several applications. Then, about 3 weeks ago, I applied it and felt an itching and burning later that day and for several days afterward. Today, when I did another application, it started burning and I could see that the skin was red and irritated. It hurt. I just shaved my beard completely off(!) and the area where it was is marked by an angry red color. I've used the same tubes of color and activator the whole time (it was a goatee), so it's not due to a formula change. I seem to have developed an allergic reaction. So now I'm clean shaven and red faced.

I used this product (JFM light brown for mustaches and beards) nine months ago and had to leave it on for 15 minutes to get it to work. Then, I had to repeat it the next day to make it cover the gray. This time I put it on and noticed it was starting to get uncomfortable within the first few minutes. So, I washed it off immediately. I was surprised to see how dark it got that quick. I noticed the burning wasn't going away, so I jumped in the shower and used hair shampoo to wash it away as much as possible. I suffered all night and went to work tired. My skin got worse and started oozing and swelling. I did this to spruce up for my 40-year reunion. If this doesn't get better, I will have to miss it as well. I live in South Carolina and am traveling to San Diego for the reunion and a funeral. Thanks to JFM, this could be the worst trip ever. I am going to the doctors tomorrow if I can make it through the night.

I've used Just For Men dark brown product to color my mustache for over 10 years. My continued use speaks for itself to my satisfaction with the product. Then, things changed. After an application, I realized I began bleeding from a reddish irritation at the top of my mustache below my nose. I treated it with healing ointment for 10-14 days till it was healed. I was afraid to use the product again and waited about two months to try another box, which I had bought when I bought the one which gave me the problem. It happened again! I called the company and they were anything, but helpful. I asked if they had changed the product in any way and she was not aware of any changes. She repeatedly instructed me on how to use a product, which I had been using for at least ten years with complete satisfaction. I asked if she had fielded any other calls similar to mine. I asked to have someone return my call or a written response and I have yet to hear anything.

For the most part, it appears that everyone who has posted or is reading this forum has experienced similar reactions (itchy skin, skin flaking like dandruff, oozing, bleeding, etc.) after using Just For Men for the beard and mustache. I have been using Just For Men for my beard and mustache for several years without any problems. The earliest recollection I have of my first reaction of itchy and flaky skin was around November or December of 2011. I recall looking at my face in the mirror while at work. It was hard not to notice all the flaking of the skin. I thought it must have been the light's reflection and didn't make anything of it.
A couple of days later, I again saw my skin flaking and it was now starting to itch. The next morning, I used a dandruff shampoo and scrubbed my beard and mustache for 5 minutes. After waiting for my skin to dry, I noticed the skin began to show signs of flaking and this is the first time I noticed red spot, minor bleeding. For the next few weeks, I began liberally applying lotion to the affected areas twice a day and this didn't help much other than control the itching. I then tried using baby oil to really penetrate the skin and this seemed to work a little better. I carried around the Cortisone stick and applied it to the affected areas a couple of times a day. Like most people, I took a risk and tried coloring the beard and mustache about 5 weeks after the first reaction. Immediately within 24 hours, I began to notice the same symptoms.
I consulted a doctor at Kaiser Permanente and told him of the symptoms I was experiencing. He said many patients have complained about similar situations and I was lucky my face and neck areas didn't swell. He had seen worse cases than mine of people using hair color. He said hair color has very harsh chemicals. I'm not a doctor, so please consult your doctor before following my potential solution. I'm just informing everyone what seemed to work for me. First Solution: The doctor recommended I use Betamethasone Dipropionate Lotion USP, 0.05%. He said this is much better to fight the reactions I was having than standard lotions and oils. This lotion works like a charm but has to be prescribed by the doctor.
Second Solution: Let your skin heal for a couple of months. Don't use any hair color. During this time, don't be over concerned about your looks. If your hair turns 3/4 white, let it be; Third Solution: Substitute using Just For Men with Clairol Natural Instincts for Men. The local Walgreens by my house carries it. The Clairol Natural Instincts for Men product either has no ammonia or very little ammonia. According to my wife, she said ammonia is very harsh on the skin. Clairol Natural Instincts for Men can be used on your head hair and is safe to use on the beard and mustache. I have used this 4 times and had no reactions.
Fourth Solution: Before applying Clairol Natural Instincts for Men to your hair, make sure to liberally apply hair conditioner to the areas where the skin reactions used to occur. In essence, you are creating a barrier between your skin and the hair color. The hair color has to penetrate through the conditioner before affecting the skin.

I can't believe I'm reading all these complaints about Just For Men Beard: they are exactly the same as my experience. After using JFM Beard for years with no problem, I started developing severe itching about 9 months ago. It seems to be getting worse, including crazy itching on my lips and scabbing on my sideburns lately. Because of my job, I can't go gray, so I've been using a cortisone stick to be able to deal with it (probably not the best thing in the long run, but better than scratching my face all day long). I wasn't sure of what was happening, but now, in view of all these same complaints, I can see the product formula must have changed within the last year. Bring the old product back: it used to work great!

I have used this product for approximately a year on my beard to color grey. Now in June 2012, I too have been severely chemical burned my face and neck, bloated beyond recognition. I can only guess their formulation (maybe some little change) must have caused this. I will never use this product again and strongly advise no one else to use it either. I am on the mend after about 5 days, but the itching, crusty skin under my beard and neck and bloating is beginning to subside. I saw on the internet that there are henna-type hair colors, which I will now try.

I used this product Auto Stop as the directions said. I purchased the light brown and left on for ten minutes. Then, I shampooed my hair and it seemed darker than the box said. I then blow dried the hair and it was darker than prescribed .The next day it was even darker, almost like black. I called the Just For Men company up and talked to a lady and she apologized for the inconvenience, but said not to be alarmed. She said do a 50-50 shampoo and hydroperoxide and that would lighten the hair color. Wrong, wrong, wrong, it turned my hair fire engine red. I then set up an appointment with a professional hair dresser and they did what they were supposed to do, but my hair was still red, now auburn red. I then called Just For Men again and their reply was the hair dresser did not know what they were doing, but she would send me another box certificate, value up to $10.00.
My hair is growing but it’s been six weeks and it is still auburn red. I need another 6 weeks before I am back to my natural hair color. I will never buy Just For Men Auto Stop, but the beard and mustache is great .You make the decision, I already have. Thanks for reading and good luck.

I am a musician by trade and was asked by one of the bands I work with if I would consider coloring my beard. Sure, I'll give it a try. The first time, I experienced a little itching but it didn't last too long and I didn't give it much thought. Weeks later, I needed to touch up and tried again with much worse results, pain and swelling on my face and neck for 3 or 4 days. Several weeks later, I needed to touch up again but thought the brush-in type may have been the cause of my discomfort so I tried the shampoo-in type. Shoot me now and end my misery. How could I be so stupid? I can't sleep - itching, swelling of lips, painful oozing skin under my beard. I found this site and began to read all the negative comments. Firstly, I have been using JFM for several years. I recently developed extreme itching all over my body, especially on my head and on my sideburns. I tried everything to relieve this itching and nothing worked. I tried Selsun Blue Shampoo and even Neutrogena T/Gel. I developed sores all over my head which has caused great concern as I have heard that itching can be a prelude to cancer. I stopped using JFM and my itching disappeared. I am now having blood work done to ascertain if Just for Men caused any type of harmful damage to my body. I believe JFM washed their hands of issues like this because they advise potential users to conduct an allergy test. This is misleading and false as severe long term reactions have nothing to do with an "instant reaction" allergy test. I cannot understand how a product like this can continue to be sold.

Same story as the rest of you, gents. Product worked fine for 5+ years then all of a sudden, an application from a new box caused crazy itching of skin where it was applied. They eventually became scabby areas that healed over a two-week period using topical antibiotic ointment. I just did another application this past weekend and itchy bumps started showing up all over my body, primarily from my forearms down to my legs. I applied it on Sunday morning; in an hour or so, the bumps started. I applied 1% corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) immediately to my face, arm and sides. Itching went on until night when I took two Benadryl and reapplied hydrocortisone. Bumps are gone this morning but I still have some minor itching. Anybody find a natural replacement yet? Good luck!

It took almost two weeks to completely clear up. And just to be sure, I used the product a couple additional times and the exact same reaction occurred. I brushed it in, like always, and after two minutes, I jumped in the shower and washed them out. And then, 30 minutes later, I had a burning and itching sensation. The following night, my jaw and lips are swollen. I have serious bumps with a leaking substance - the whole area around my goatee is red, bumped and leaking. I had called Walgreens customer service and spoke with them about my experience and what I had read about the recent rash of Just for Men reactions. They said they would look into it and contact the manufacturer. Well, they did just that because two days later I had a Combe Inc. rep calling me. She was very nice and just wanted to address any concerns and questions I may have had about the reaction and assured me that it was normal and that I had just had an allergic reaction. She said people develop them to their product and assured me that the number was small compared to the total number of users. She proceeded to ask me questions like: Did I do the pretest? Did I have any illnesses or health conditions? And was I on any medications? There were a few others I can't recall but the one that stuck out was when she wanted the lot number off the box.
Now, I work in production at a food plant and am familiar with things like this. When we send out a potentially bad product, we use lot numbers to track the origin of the problem. Typically, you can tell the extent of a potential issue by gathering the lot numbers of the known affected product and looking up the dates they were ran. This will tell you how big a problem you might have. My thought on the matter is they ran a bad batch of this stuff and are trying to see how big the problem is so if it's just a small batch, they won't cop to anything and just treat it as though we all developed the reaction they warned you about on the label and tell us, "** happens. Sorry about your luck but we warned you so. We're not liable."
The rep also told me I should stop using their product or any other permanent hair dye because she was certain I was allergic. I told her that was funny because I had just used some of your product from an old box that I had just thrown away and it didn't cause any adverse reaction on my skin. She said, "We can't guarantee the strength of any of their Just For Men product that's older than three months, so that's probably why you had no reaction." I mean come on, if it still dyes my hair and has all the same chemicals it did when I bought it, even in a weaker state, it should cause some sort of reaction, especially since my skin was already damaged. How dumb do they think I am?
All I'm saying, fellow sufferers, is they are readying for a fight and seem to have an answer for every situation you may give them. They are on the defensive so be prepared. Just FYI, the lot number is located on the outside of the top flap of your box. It is not printed. It is imprinted or embossed, if you will. You have to put it under some light and tilt it the right way to read it. I think everyone should post their lot numbers to see if we can put together a pattern. Just a suggestion.

This product used to work, well, up until a year ago or so. I noticed that the black dye coming out of the tube was a different color, and mixed to a yellow color when activated. At this same time is when lumps, blisters, oozing, massive irritation started. Even without getting it directly on the skin, just in the washing off process, my face developed all these issues. Whatever you changed in the formulas was a bad move, JFM. This is not a safe product anymore.

I recently tried the Just For Men Mustache & Beard hair die. I, too, have used the product in the past without complications. It was the third box I purchased in February of 2012 that drove me to the emergency room. I applied the dye just as I had several times before and immediately experienced extreme itching and burning. The next day a welt under the skin developed. I scratched and after days, the bump grew into a painful swollen cyst. I thought it might go away by itself, but as Iuck would have it, it only grew to about the size of a golf ball.
After my face swelled up to the point one of my eyes closed, my wife insisted on taking me to the emergency room. The doctor said I developed a staph infection from the cyst that could be life threatening without treatment. I had to receive aggressive antibiotics via a hospital IV. The whole ordeal cost me time and money and ultimately left me with a scar on my cheek. Two weeks later, not knowing the cause of the infection, I used the product again. The same thing happened and again I was put on strong antibiotics. The doctor said it was an allergic reaction and to stop using the product immediately. I did so, but now I fear another bump is coming to the surface. This product should be banned and pulled from the shelf!

I, too, have used JFM beard and mustache dye for years and recently had a reaction after applying some from a new box I recently bought. I have to agree that it must be a formula change as the reaction came with the first application of the just purchased box of dye. The funny thing about my reaction, and I’m not sure if anyone else shared this experience, is that even though I used it on my whole goatee, the reaction seemed to stay primarily in my mustache area and didn’t seem to effect my chin area. My upper lip became very red and inflamed about three hours after use and erupted in oozing sores. They have without a doubt changed something and need to come forward and accept responsibility for their mistake. They need to help those they have hurt and at the very least recall this product and change back to the original formula.

Nightmarish oozing, bleeding, swelling, yes, I experienced this as well but it was about 10 years ago with the product (Just For Men). I'm just guessing the complaints are compounding only now because of the ease of finding similar complaints. For me, the damage increased for days, and waiting, thinking it would get better was a very bad move.
To everyone here, seek medical attention immediately. I happened to luck out with a doctor that prescribed the right cortisone and it began clearing immediately. When I visited him a couple days later, he couldn't recognize me, my normal self. I guess also this has been going on forever with women, when I see ladies on TV (People's Court) suing their hairstylist for hair sessions gone horribly wrong.
What I would like to see is, maybe these comments frozen, and a warning label pointing to them as well as a warning to have the ability to seek medical attention. I was far away from home at the time, incurred fair dollar damages, but things turned out very well afterwards, and I learned how to help myself and others cope with other mild to bad allergic reactions. I had used the beard dye product 4-5 years ago, routinely, with no problems whatsoever. I recently used it and at first was fine, within five hours my skin was swelling, very red, irritated, itching, and now, five days later, I've had to shave the beard and my sideburns and with that, my hair since the purpose of having dyed my hair black was useless if my facial hair can't match.
No health insurance, so it's just not worth the amount of money and ER/doctor trip would cost me. It's incredibly hard to sleep with the skin tightening constantly, all the pus-leaking and blisters/sores. Badly irritated skin, it is clearly a chemical problem. It is unreal that this product hasn't been yanked off the shelf. People are having their day-to-day lives severely affected.

My experience is similar to all these others. I have been using it for a few years and without warning, the last time I used it, I got chemical burns under my beard. I had itching, swelling, irritation, and scabs that will hopefully heal well. It must be their "new formula". What the hell is the matter with this company? Clearly, they know they're selling a product that's burning people's faces and clearly they don't give a **. Whoever is in charge of Just For Men ought to be arrested. My face constantly itches and I have to take off from work. I am too drowsy to drive from all of the medication I have been taking. I had been using Just for Men for about a year with nice results until last fall. I had one bad reaction with redness and itching but didn't associate it with the product at the time. The second time was almost immediate and the redness developed into swelling blisters which broke open and lasted for weeks. I called the company and explained what had happened and asked if they had changed the formulation? They said I had developed intolerance to it and should discontinue use forever. The girl also told me I would now be unable to use any similar products as well.
After reading the number of negative reviews, it is fairly obvious that JFM has either changed the formulation or have changed where it's being produced. I still have flare ups of redness and itching and have woken up in the middle of the night scratching my beard. Like most guys on here, it's sadly (albeit vainly) upsetting since they seem to have the market cornered for beard dye and I did really like the effect. I hope that they do go after the company and force them to at least put a strong warning on the label of these reactions. If they know this is happening, then it's criminally negligent if they don't.

Just For Men Hair Color: I too have had a horrible reaction from JFM. I have been using it on my goatee for years. No problems. I loved this product. In late January, I used JFM Mustache & Beard, Jet Black in the usual manner, and then shaved in the usual manner. I used triple blade disposable razors. I usually put cortisone cream on my face after I shave, and the days to follow. (I am a dark-skinned African-American, we are sometimes prone to razor bumps). Shortly afterwards, I noticed a small swell and light spot on my chin on the hairline of my goatee. In the week to follow, it got larger. I used JFM again a few weeks later. (Like most of you, I didn't initially think that JFM was the cause.)
After this next application and shave I did not put on cortisone cream. I was immediately going out to dinner (the cortisone cream left my face shiny and greasy, not the dinner look I was going for). Shortly after dinner, my hairline around my goatee began to burn. When I looked in the mirror it was swollen. The burn increased and swelling increased rapidly. I went straight to a Walgreens and bought some cortisone cream and Abreva (desperate!). I nearly put the cream on while on the checkout line! These items took away the burning and reduced the swelling somewhat. (I believe the first flare up wasn't so bad because I used the cortisone cream). My face is still a little swollen and the areas that "burned" are lighter than the rest of my dark skin and have peeled. This is not an allergic reaction. It is a chemical problem with the JFM product! I am going to post the product code, and where I purchased my JFM. Others please do so also. Maybe we can get some sort of idea or direction as to this real issue. Product code is Z11L131 (found stamped/embossed on top of box), purchased at Walmart, Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.

I was quickly losing breath and chest started tightening up, my whole face was on fire and my eyes were so hurt, they started to blur things up. I was coughing and felt to vomit. I realized I was hit by an extreme episode of allergic reaction, it’s really unreal!
I had been using the same product for about three years and last used an old purchase 2 days ago. I used the Mayonnaise as suggested on the board and it helped. I had to lie down for an hour for the hit to pass and had phone in my hand to dial 911 if it gets worse. I have heart problems so this reaction is particularly worrisome to me. I will never use JFM and warn anyone with a heart problem to stay away from it. JFM shouldn’t be allowed to be on the market anymore. The allergic reaction goes beyond skin burning, itching or swelling. Iit can be systematic and can cause short of breath and chest pain. In my experience, I believe it can be life threatening.

I stopped at about two minutes due to the solution irritating the skin on my face near my hairline and my scalp. My scalp was irritated and I felt a burning sensation on it. I quickly jumped in the shower and rinsed my hair three times. My scalp still felt irritated. I thought things would be okay. A week later, I noticed my hair on the top of my head was thinning. I have lost about 25% of the thick hair that I used to have on the top of my head.
I wish I had known of some of these side effects before I used this product. My scalp still feels irritated. I hope and pray that I don't lose the rest of my hair. I will be seeing a doctor next week to have my scalp examined.

I did the patch test without problem. I have used Just for Men Beard and Mustache product before without issues. I had to shave my beard and mustache because my face started blistering under my nose and above my upper lip. I also developed blisters on both cheeks, which now look like they've had the skin burned off of them. This is unacceptable to me.

I used Just for Men for my beard and mustache just over three weeks ago and had just minor redness for less than a day. But then I "touched up" yesterday and about eight hours later, my face became red, itchy, oozing pus and very swollen. My lower lip is three times its normal size and was badly burned by the chemicals in this product as well. I did the test and followed directions for both applications, so I was shocked that this happened.
Aloe Vera gel did not seem to help at all last night. I'm trying Cortizone-10 today. It has provided some feeling of relief, but I will probably look like I've been dipped in acid for days and perhaps longer. I won't allow myself to be seen in public until I heal, whatever that means. Obviously, this product is unpredictable, making it unsafe if not dangerous. If I am scarred or disfigured, the company should be made to pay!

It is horrible. I did the allergic skin test in the bend of my elbow. There was no problem. Two days later, I applied it to my beard, and had a severe reaction. My skin is all puffy and oozing puss. My skin is itchy and dry. It's worse than a severe sun burn. It's a miserable product. It should be banned.

I had severe allergic reaction. I have used Just For Men for several years and recently, when I applied the hair color to my mustache and beard, I have developed these red bruises on the area that it was applied to, causing a severe itch and pain. I have also noticed that pus is coming out and it burns. I cannot understand why this is going on. But this product needs to be removed off the market, with these strong complaints.

I bought Just for Men color gel. I followed the directions. I did the patch test, it was okay. I dyed my beard and mustache. In 24 hours, my skin blistered and oozed. Heading out to the doctor's office now, hoping for some relief.

I used Just For Men mustache and beard coloring. First and second applications went well but on the third attempt, doing nothing different from the previous tries, I started itching for a while then it went away. Then my beard kept getting wet for some reason and the itching started back severely.
I had shaved my beard and noticed that my chin was swollen and oozing pus. My chin got swollen immensely, I looked like the the elephant man. After three days, the swelling went down on my face, but now there's a large ball around my neck, where the swelling went, and my chin still has pus and is itchy and patchy.
To be honest, I'm scared. I have no medical insurance and am unemployed. I can't afford a doctor's bill. What to do?

I used this product "Just For Men" beard and mustache hair dye back in April. After 10 minutes, my face started itching really bad. I shaved off my goatee and had sores all over my chin, neck and face. It took about 3 weeks for it to go away. Now when I go out in the sun, I get a bad rash every time on my back, chest and legs. I have never in my life had skin problems. Almost 3 months later, I am still having bad reactions from this product. It should be taken off the market and if there is a class action lawsuit, then I'm in!

I have been using the product for several months and never had a problem. Then I decided to purchase a slightly lighter color for spring/summer. The product covered all the greys beautifully, and the color was very natural. But later on that day, my entire hairline and goatee started severely burning and weeping clear liquid. It is extremely painful, and I am now all crusty and my head/chin is inflamed with open, red sores. And my scalp is covered with blobs of dried yellow pus. It appears to be chemically burned.
I've been in extreme pain for about 2 days now. I cannot sleep, shave, wash my face without suffering--even water hurts! My face is still swollen in those areas applied, and some areas of my hairline and face are already scarring! People are staring at me and asking, "What the hell happened to your face?" I would not recommend this product to even my worst enemy!

I have used Just For Men to color my goatee and mustache for over a year with no problems. Recently, I purchased Just For Men and used it on a beard I was growing out. The product went on fine. It stung a tiny bit (this was normal) but continued to burn my face after I have washed it off thoroughly. What I thought were hair bumps getting irritated under my beard turned out to be patchy burns that leaked, burns on my cheek, and close to the corners of my mouth. This produced severe itching and made me scratch, which made things worse. Even washing my face caused irritation for the first 5 days. Even the parts of my face that weren't touched by the dye had become hyper sensitive.
Once I realized I'd been burned, I waited for the wounds to quiet down. I cut off my beard and stopped shaving. Since the beard was new, I figured my cheeks were too sensitive to use the product. So, I went back to using Just For Men on my goatee, once I grew that back. It had much worse result than the beard! My chin is killing me. It was itching like hell. I trimmed the sides of my goatee today and my skin was so leathery underneath that the clipper tore the surface, causing injury and bleeding. Even as the JFM treatment is starting to fade (my goatee is going grey again), the skin underneath is still thick, itchy, and red. I'm afraid to shave my goatee off to find I have a chin covered with burns. I will never use this product again.

I used this product three times in three months with no effect then the fourth time, I suffered burning and oozing skin that scarred my chin. The hair on my chin turned bright white as if it is dead and the hair on top of my head started falling out. I am now completely bald with only white fuzz growing back. This happened within six weeks once the burning and itching started. I am a supervisor for a large contractor and have had to miss several days of work to go to the emergency room for this.

I have used this product once before prior to taking the skin test. I tried it again but this time, had a different result! My chin started burning then it was wet. I dried my chin off only to see it weep over and over! It appears to have eaten away a spot on my chin. The scabs are huge, slightly protruding from the hair on my face. It looks horrible and it's been like this for about three weeks now, maybe four. I don't know what to do! I have a blistering chin and I'm afraid it might be permanent.

After using the product, I developed irritation and itchy sores behind my ears after every application. I quit using the product and sores semi-healed and then worsened. I went to the doctor who assured me it was nothing.
A couple of months later, they were not gone and I thought it might have been irritation from my sun glasses. I had a skin cancer on my arm, which was removed and during my checkup, I asked the doctor to check them. He did not think it was much but biopsied the spots along with a little spot on my arm. The arm came back negative but the sores behind my ears were both positive for skin cancer. Both sides in exactly the same time frame seem unlikely to have occurred on their own and should not be dismissed as a coincidence. Anyone else? Is there a lawsuit there?

I had used Just for men hair color for about 4 years and in the beginning it worked really well. About year 3, I noticed a change in the formula, then well into year three, I noticed a small white patch on my right thumb. I didn't know what it was. Slowly it began to get larger. I went to the doctor, and she diagnosed it as Vitiligo. Now it is spreading over left and right hands, and into both left and right arms. There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought against them for this product. I now have an incurable skin disease, thanks to them.

I used the product as directed doing a skin patch test and waiting the amount of time to see if there was an allergic reaction. No problem. I applied the beard dye in the morning and within moments, my skin started to burn. I showered and rinsed well. I have had severe burning all day and red weeping skin. I have actually scratched so hard that my nails have cut my skin. I have not been able to sleep and am up at 4:00 a.m. searching the internet for men that have had the same issues. When looking in the mirror a bit ago, it appears like the skin is peeling away when I run my fingers across it. I suspect I have chemical burns from the product.

A beard dye that hides grey hair, store-bought, burned the skin underneath beard, and moustache, and around mouth with 2nd/3rd degree chemical burns. It left "weeping" sores/blisters/raw patches, intense burning, and itching, and awful appearance. I had used product before without a problem and had no idea they had changed the formula. There are complaints about this all over the internet. Why is this product still on the market? It had severe effect on my life with probable scarring from chemical burns, extreme discomfort, difficulty eating/drinking. affecting work, and social life, can't sleep from pain, and itching. It looks awful (can provide photos). I work in an image oriented field.
