Something has gone terribly wrong over at Boost. We had a great experience for years, but over the last few months it has really changed. My brand new phone started losing connection to their network, I could not call, text, or even contact customer service. When I called a month ago, they told me they had done a network upgrade and needed me to input new codes in my phone to make it work, so they walked me through it and after over an hour, I could use my phone. Keep in mind, no warning, no notice.
Today it happened again and this time they told me that my new phone's sim card was out of date and I had to buy a new one. I pay every month for phone service, I should not have to pay extra so my phone will connect to their network - it's a Boost phone after all. So that was it, we cancelled our service. My phone is new and locked, I know that, but my husband's phone is paid for and over 18 months old and they are refusing to unlock it, essentially holding his phone number hostage! Since he needs it for work, we were forced to buy a new phone from the new carrier. This is terrible, and I can no longer reccomend them and in fact, I say- get out.

It's always the case, misinformation!! Once they told me they don't have roaming in Canada although I checked before traveling but the agent was like roaming could mean roaming between States!! Now I ordered a phone and I know I won't be home to sign for receiving so I asked them if they can hold it at a UPS location the answer was “I have to do that directly with UPS”. I check with the shipping company and they let me know that Boost has restricted any changes to the shipment and they are the only one who can make any changes. So chatted with Boost again and they were only apologizing for the misinformation and for not being able to change the shipping instructions!! Very poor customer service, not knowledgeable and misleading

I've been with Boost since 2015,and they were great until the NewBoost went live. My latest episode is that the sales team which by the way is and I'm guessing not a part of the rest of any other team, called me with a new promo, that wasn't for existing customers. But sold it to me anyway under a different email (their suggestion) then created a 2nd account with all the information from the original account, just added some lines. Turned off the service to the original account which I had to pay again while I waited on Sim cards. So out of frustration I canceled the whole new order and was told that I was receiving a credit. Which they processed. Charged me again and zeroed out the credit.
When I spent 2 and a half hours on the phone with them 3 hangups and about 15 transfers. It changed from a credit to a refund, but I can clearly see that it was a credit to my boost account. Now telling me to check with my bank which I do every day. Did that now tell me I need to wait for a refund that was never issued. Their statement clearly shows that they credited to the phone number and used it to pay a balance that I didn't owe! Who should I contact my attorney or the BBB?

I bought the introductory offer of Boost Mobile for $12.50 and got the SIM card in the mail in a couple of days. I had to wait a couple of days to try to Port my number in. To my surprise the card claimed to have been activated and a number of signed but I don't know what the number is and was never given the number. Trying to call boost requires you to have your phone number and receive a text message. I was unable to log on to the website and I was unable to cancel my service because I didn't have a phone number to receive a text from and they apparently have no other type of verification process available. Fortunately I was able to get in far enough to turn off auto pay and I can just let it expire. Absolutely miserable experience with overseas call centers trying to get this handled

Poor coverage, poor customer service, and by far the worst experience with a cell carrier that I've ever had - and that includes time spent living and traveling in developing nations. Do not be fooled by the marketing and paid-for industry reviews. Save your money and time, and go with a different carrier.

I have been with Boost Mobile for over five years, and now I am very dissatisfied with the service. For two months, I have noticed that my service does not work in the morning after I charge my phone at night. The phone will have emergency calls only and the 5G has a small x in its place. I will have to restart the phone and wait a minute or two for the service to come back up. I have called customer service about the problem too many times to count and even been to the mobile store but the problem continues. I have even replaced the SIM card but the issue is still happening. Today is Oct 18, 2024, and I have not restarted the service since I took it off the charger at 8 o'clock this morning and I have no service. I will be going to the mobile store this morning so they can see for themselves what I am having a problem with. I am very tired of this issue that seems to not go away.

I decided to switch to Mint Mobile. I called them and was told that it is was a simple process. I needed my account # from Boost Mobile find out if my phone was unlocked and get a pin # to transfer my phones to Mint. I called Boost and was given my account # and told that my phone was unlocked and given a pin #, I asked if I needed a pin # for each of my phones and I was told that the pin # was good for phone ending in **. Both of my phones end in **.
Next I called Mint Mobile and started the transfer process. They used the information provided and the pin # was not accepted. I called Boost back and got another pin #, that did not work and I was given a 3rd pin # and this time it worked. Pin #'s are only good for 4 days! One phone working, I used working phone to get 2nd phone transferred. Phone transferred on 2nd pin #! Now I'm trying to get phone unlocked. Told to wait 48 hours, still not unlocked, I'm currently on my 3rd 48 hours and my phone is still locked. The guys in the back room that unlock phones cannot be communicated with and no such thing as expediting the 48 hour wait! Plus 9 hours on phone back and forth between Mint and Boost. Please hold for 30 minutes, please hold for 22 minutes!

I said I want to have two lines and buy a phone and not even something simple as that I could get the correct assistance for. I would never do business with a place that cannot get it right to have business and make money. Create better processes. Very annoying. None of the calls got me to even half way through. Every call they asked my name and what I was calling for then get transferred to be asked the same thing to be transferred again. Y'all should get 0 stars

Since Boost Mobile and Boost Infinity have combined it's become a total joke. I've been a Boost Mobile customer for over 7 years with four lines on a family plan. I recently bought a $900 S24. When I swapped it over with the phone I was changing it with I called to get protection insurance on the phone and have been given the runaround ever since. They escalated it to the back office where you can't talk to anybody to put the insurance protection on the phone. I haven't got an email or anything from them. I called back again today and they said it will be done the next day. So today I told them start the return process so I can get a full refund on this phone. It seems they now have no value to long-term Boost Mobile customers. I think it's time for me to take my family plan to another company. Because Boost is turning into a giant junk.

Ever since dish network purchased Boost it has become terrible. In the past, Boost had offered me and my family upgrades for phones for little or no cost. This year I received not one, but two emails offering me a new Samsung Galaxy A25 5g for $25 on an in store purchase. I thought it was a great deal. I went to the boost store in our town and asked for the deal. First I was hit with the $35 activation charge. I still thought it was a decent deal so I agreed. Then I was told that I was not eligible for this deal and that the phone is now $299. Nowhere in the email does it say $299. I agreed to the extra $35 as it was part of the fees the email mentioned, but now $299 + $35 activation? The lady at the store said that she could switch my plan to an unlimited plan for $60 a month and get my new phone, later on if I wanted my old plan I could just switch back. I foolishly agreed. I was told to wait a few days. I waited.
I went back 2 days later only to be told I had to wait until October 6, the beginning of my new cycle to get my phone. So I would now have to pay $60/ month and would not be allowed to get my phone for 10 days? I said I no longer wanted the new phone and to switch me back to my current plan. That's when they said they couldn't do that. That the only plan I was on was just a limited time offer. I couldn't believe what was going on. I felt like I was at a nightmare used car dealership and this was just a bait and switch. The owner of the store approached me and I explained my situation and how this was completely unfair and just, for lack of a better word, scammy. He then asked if I was attached to my existing phone number, I said no and that I just want my old plan back. He made that happen, but not before I had to PAY $25 as a "new" customer. Really? I've been with this company 8 years.
The dish network corporate representative was in the office behind a glass where I could see her and made no attempt to Internet Intervene to help a dissatisfied customer. No, she allowed this farce to play out. I will rehab with this company because I was blessed to receive $25/ month FOREVER plan and until I have another better deal with a better company, I will remain. I hope and pray that dish sells boost to a company with a good reputation and has solid business practices. There is a reason DirecTV is the superior satellite service and dish is not. They are of low quality and have no business in business. Buyer beware.

I used to love this service but when I got suckered into getting a new phone because it needed to be"5G" though my area doesn't even cover 5G so that's where the problems started. I do not like the camera on it, the pictures are always blurry. My phone freezes constantly and I never had that issue with any other phone I have had through Boost. Now I am also paying double for "extra space" which I feel should be automatically with a new phone any way. So you basically doubled my bill for crappier service so I will be dropping you and going elsewhere. Maybe once you see how unhappy all of your customers are, you will go back to the old way of doing things or you'll risk losing a lot of customers.

I just paid my phone bill on Monday. That Tuesday they had an outage, cool. I got back to the Boost store and they said it was fixed some customers were still experiencing problems, cool. Mind you, my phone wasn’t not working without Wi-Fi. My calls dropped, text messages came in late, my internet didn’t work unless I was home on Wi-Fi (I always turn my data off when I’m home.)
So, the Boost rep and I were talking too with their customer service rep. At first, she said I had only used 4 GB of data (I get 15gb a month). Then, after being there for a hour and her still not figuring out what was going on with my phone she came back on the line and said. I used all my data. How when you just stated I only used 4gb prior? I had been with Boost for 3 years and this was the worst customer service I’ve encountered. So, I switched to Verizon prepaid and my phone works extremely fast like I’m on Wi-Fi.

I've not a good experience through the week I'm with Boost Mobile. They were very quick to get my account set and transfer my existing number, I've been promised the coverage off my area is perfect. So, guess why I'm writing this review?..) I was barely getting two bars. And today I decided to switch to att. I'm still staying on hold with customer service - almost 40 min.
The problem is that the required account number for transferring my phone is 9 digits - this is what att takes, this is what's stated on Google search if you want to double check the correctness of the information. Well, the representative is very inexperienced, he keeps me hold for all this time to connect with his supervisor repeating the same phrase: my supervisor is assisting other customers! Isn't it beautiful to waste my and att representative's time for a simple request to speak to a supervisor? Like, what kind of nationwide business it is that has just ONE supervisor constantly helping other customers while there are two people waiting on phone? This "business" is ridiculous. I do not recommend boost mobile to anyone unless they're desperate to save on monthly bill and have crappy service and connection.

Been a customer for 10 yrs, if you count the outages and mess up on "their" end it's only been 2 yrs. Like right now their end says I disconnected but I never did and they can't figure it out. Hahahaaa. They put me in auto pay and I didn't know so I paid it twice. Boost enters a ticket and I hear, "Oh you won't have to pay a bill next month." Ummm yeah. You already have my money.... If I had more options I wouldn't even be with them. They treat their customers like crap. After the new customer fog clears you're mostly just disappointed with the whole experience. You won't receive texts or calls and you still have to pay. Can't send a text or make a call. You still pay. Boost is all about how they can charge you the most for the bare minimum.

The coverage was fine, but when it came time to switch providers (I got a better deal thru my internet provider) they refused to let my account go so I could switch over easily. I was told the process would be an easy transfer but Boost mobile dragged it out for two whole days. When I put in the new SIM card, they locked my phone so I couldn't access any features. When I called to get it unlocked, they told me it would take 24-72 hours. Thankfully it only took 12, but then I still couldn't switch to my new provider because Boost simply refused to respond to the request.
With the help of a representative, I got Boost on the phone and it took literal HOURS of being on hold to get transferred to the right person who would finally release my account. It felt like a complete and utter waste of time, more importantly it felt like a ploy tactic to keep me from switching services, and it was incredibly frustrating to boot. I don't recommend ever starting an account with Boost Mobile because when it comes time for you to leave, they act like an abusive spouse that won't give you your things to keep you from leaving. Very unprofessional.

For a year of dealing with Boost Mobile, I enjoyed the service. After ordering the IPhone 16 pro max, as part of my contractual agreement, my order was placed and approved. A few days later, I was contacted by “Boost Mobile” (BM) and asked outrageous questions that have nothing to do with my order. Questions BM agents told me they never ask (ex. What type of house do I rent, one floor or two, etc.). These calls went on for 3 days. When I called 611 (a legit way to get through to your carrier), I was put through to BM. I was sent various emails regarding my order, and told that it was being processed, as well as agents telling me the order was being processed and the money being taken out.
After long hrs of being given the run around about my concerns, specifically that a phone number (1-888-341-1804) that BM says is not connected to them, yet they have a system set up just like BM, I was told that they couldn’t do anything about it. Even the security personnel stated that they couldn’t do anything. With such a security breach, you would like to believe that BM would look into it, but not the case. They turned a blind eye, and in the end, after all my complaints, they decided to cancel my order and telling me they couldn’t tell me why due to security reasons. Security over my purchase? Security over the contractual agreement that I signed with BM? Outrageous.
In all my time of giving reviews on Google (my next review place) I have only given one other bad review. This is my second. With a phone company that is being hacked by a number BM stated was not theirs, and they decided they couldn’t do anything, one would definitely give the greatest pause from purchasing from them. Even with the lapse in cell service in certain places, I still stuck with BM. After all the hassles and skirting around security issues, I am finishing out my term with BM and going elsewhere. I highly recommend everyone to do the same, because someone has a system out there that BM does not recognize as theirs; call BM yourself by dialing 611 (if you have BM). They will verify that they are not associated with that number, even though that 1-888 number above can illegally access their system, yet they can’t do anything about it.
In the end, I was told to buy the phone outright if I wanted it; a way to not have to deal with an issue of such magnitude. And for security reasons, they can’t tell me why they cancelled my order, that was under a contractual agreement!!! I do not want anyone to base your review on this, but do your own research by contacting BM regarding the above 1888 number. Call that imposter number yourself; a number that every associate and security and supervisors that I spoke with stated does not belong to them. But they actually chose to do nothing about my concerns, but to vindictively cancel my order.
I’ll have another company buy out the contract and end by term with them, if I can legally do so. Otherwise, I’ll bide my time and get out when I legally can from a contract that BM really doesn’t care about, despite their countless ways of trying to tell you they appreciate your business; just not your concerns, which should have people steer clear from purchasing from. If it weren’t for imposters hacking into their system, that they acknowledged was not connected to them, and BM not willing to act on, I wouldn’t be given this review. I even told them to expect this review, if they didn’t look into my complaint. Various agents, high up in security, said they couldn’t access my account , and when I challenged them that the ones under them had, they simply said, sorry we can’t.
I have never in all my years of dealing with consumers, retailers, etc, had to deal with such a broad range of staff that really had no concern for this issue. They even stated that they couldn’t, even on their own, call that number to see that I’m not some crazy person making all of this up! I challenge every person reading this to do your own research on this. Call 611 and try to verify if the number is legit to BM. Then you yourself call the above 1888 number, and you will verify all in here. And try to call BM about it afterwards and get some resolution? Not happening; even after speaking with the top security specialist on the job. This will allow you to verify all of this that I’m basing my review on.
I can guarantee that anyone reading this, would themselves, want to investigate this matter before even contemplating BM as a safe phone carrier. For me, I’m done as soon as I can legally get out. At this point, I’d give BM a 0 if it allowed; especially after all the “I don’t have accesses” to your account denials, that they surely have access to!!

I purchased a Galaxy A15 from an authorized Boost Mobile Dealer on May 31, 2024. My phone was stolen at the end of August and the culprit got into my account changing my personal information. Called Boost and was told they couldn't help recover my account and number because I couldn't verify the updated profile information. The agent I spoke with on the phone told me she couldn't assist unless I gave them the correct information which I didn't know because my account was hijacked. I explained to them my phone was stolen/hijacked, they referred me to a store. I went to the store where I purchased my phone, spoke to the man who sold/activated my phone, and showed him my statement ID. He referred me back to the customer service. Who again referred me back again.
That phone number was used with all my financial and personal online accounts and I wasn't able to access my money for over a week. I had to get a new phone then pain-stakingly regain access to all my accounts. Also, I have autopay set up and they won't let me change that option and will be charged for another month's service. I've called Boost numerous times supplying them with all my information (including the IMEI) but they will not help me in this matter. In essence losing a paying customer (I will never do business with Boost again) and keeping a customer who most likely won't pay the monthly bill. This situation could've been handled much differently and I should've been easily verified. Boost refused to help me recover my number/account caused me a lot of stress, aggravation, as well as financial losses. I know I'm not the only person experiencing such hardship and Boost Mobile has to do better.

I received a phone, an Apple iPhone 15 pro Max from Boost Mobile after ordering it online. It was very important to Port my number over to this new phone. I received the phone on a Monday and was unable to get the esim to connect with the phone. That same day that I received the phone I had to speak with five customer service Representatives including supervisors and the advanced technological team and they all sent or tried to send a Sim information to the phone. Nothing was ever received so I was told by one representative to wait 2 hours and then it would work and after 3 hours I called back and I was told, "Well you need to wait up to 6 hours." Then I called back an hour after that because I needed the phone immediately and I got a supervisor finally and the supervisor said, "Well we've already issued too many esims and it's bogged down the system so you'll have to wait overnight and it should work fine the next day."
So I did and the next day the phone still did not work so I called back and after 5 and a half hours of wasting my time and my life trying to get the esim to work customer service representative after customer service representative after being transferred at least seven times and getting supervisor after supervisor they all told me I needed to continue to wait, so I did. On the third day it was still not working so I called again. Now granted every representative that I had spoken with over the previous two and a half days gave me a different response and a different answer so on the third day I got another supervisor which told me, "We can't issue any more Sims. Maybe you should take it into the store." So I did I took it into the store to which they replied, "You ordered this online. There's nothing we can do in the store," but he did call customer service and on his end try and get help to no avail.
So I came back home, got on the phone again with another customer service representative that could barely speak English and I insisted on a supervisor and by this time after 3 days of telling the story at least 25 to 30 times they finally transferred me to the advanced technological department and I spoke with a representative named Derek who spoke English, I was shocked but he was very nice and he tried and tried to no avail so he said, "We need to get apple on the phone," so we got on a three-way conference call to Apple for an hour and 45 minutes. They ran a remote diagnostic test and came to the conclusion that it was a defective phone and there was absolutely nothing we could do about it so he suggested that I send it back and then within 30 days they will check it out and fix it and send it back to me.
What he failed to understand at the time was I needed this phone 3 days ago so after much consideration and frustration the representative from boost, Derek and I decided to go ahead and return the phone for a refund and just go ahead and place an order for a new phone which I would have to pay the taxes on it again. They refuse to do it any other way so after paying the new taxes $114 again to get this phone I thought it was solved. They had said I would have the phone by Friday and I agreed to that.
Well on Thursday I called to check the status and they said the phone was on hold and it would be on hold for up to 14 business days. Once it was not on hold they could ship it out ground and it would be an additional three to five business days which was totally unacceptable. They had the phone in stock but for some reason they put a hold on it. Oh and I forgot to mention when I spoke with the Apple executive he told me that the phone that I purchased from boost, was showing fraud and it was not showing that it was coming from dish boost. So he asked me where I purchased the phone from and I said I got it from boost and he said, "Well that's not what I'm showing," so there is fraud protection on it. I did not get it from Amazon or Walmart or anybody on the street. I got it directly from the boost website. And it was defective.
Okay so when I called to get a tracking number for the new phone I was informed it was going to be on hold like I stated and I said, "You know what? I need a phone today. I actually needed it 4 days ago so cancel the order, return my money since nothing has shipped and it wouldn't shipped for three more weeks and I would go to another provider," so I chose to go to Verizon and Verizon tried to Port the number over and it said fraud protection so the Verizon representative and I called boost a total of three times to which they gave the same port ID pin each time and each time it came back showing fraud protection.
Well boost is saying they don't have any way of putting fraud protection on there and they don't know what Verizon was talking about. Once again complete ignorance because they do know how to put fraud protection on a phone number. Finally Friday at 6:30 p.m. after working on this situation since Monday morning and speaking with a total of 27 Representatives, supervisors and technical help and being lied to by almost every one of them that could speak English that is, I was hung up on multiple times, I was threatened and still ended up not getting the phone number ported because of this fraud protection that boost said they have no clue how it happened or why it happened because they don't know how to do that which was a bald-faced lie.
I finally was able to get a new line and a new phone through Verizon and Nicole with Verizon was very, very nice stayed on the phone with me almost 2 hours because we contacted boost again on conference call three times trying to get the number Port pin. Long, long stressful story short I had to get a new number. Now I told boost the day before when I canceled the order after they told me it would be 3 weeks before I could get the phone I told them to initiate a refund immediately and they are saying they cannot issue the refund until I return the phone.
I had already made it clear I canceled the order because they said they could not ship out the phone for more than 2 weeks but because these people have no education and do not speak English. All she kept repeating was, "When you return the phone we will issue a refund," to which I replied every time, "I don't have the phone, you have the phone in your Warehouse somewhere. I canceled the order because it was not going to ship for 2 to 3 weeks." She hung up on me so I called back and I got a supervisor the supervisor said the exact same thing that I had already called and that they could not issue a refund until the phone was returned, the phone that was never even shipped to me, the phone that I never received so how am I supposed to ship a phone back to them that I never received and that was never shipped out?
So now I am out $200 for the initial payment for the phone, no phone, they are refusing to allow me to Port my number over to Verizon and this was total emotional abuse after being lied to and hung up on and just dealing with people who maybe at the most had a third grade education. So the moral of the story is do not trust Boost Mobile. Their service sucks. Their supposed customer service sucks, they lie, they tell you what they think you want to hear, they talk over you, and they just randomly make up crap that makes no sense whatsoever so save your time and your sanity and do not ever contact them no matter how good their supposed specials are because now I'm going to have to employ an attorney to get my money back for the phone that I never received that they keep telling me to return so be careful and don't use boost mobile.
If I had to give them a rating between and 1 and 5 Stars my rating would be negative 500. They have put so much emotional stress on me because of their ignorance, their lies and their incompetence. I am so stressed out and have not been able to do anything that I needed to do all week because of their incompetence. Beware of boost Mobile.

Boost Mobile are scammers. I bought Galaxy A15 over the phone and they canceled the order. The phone was returned back to them via UPS. My phone bill was due a few days later and it was taken off my card $58 on 9-5-2024. The money for the phone I never got was deposited back to my card six days later. They terminated my service sending a email saying that I didn’t pay my bill but it shows on my card it was paid. I called them and they replied I cost them money by getting my refund for the galaxy so they terminated my service because of it which makes no sense. Well, my account was setup for autodrafts on September 6th which is when my bill was due. I was due a refund because I canceled my account with them on the 6th of September. Upon asking for my refund, I was told by customer service that I don't get one because my account is no longer active. What does that have to do with anything? My service wasn't on for an entire month, so I am due a prorated refund! Even if they deduct one day, I am still due a refund. They are saying it's their policy not to issue it once the account is no longer active. Thieves! That doesn't make sense! They activated my phone the day they sent it out so even though I didn't have the SIM card yet I was still using the month of course and then when I received it put it in the phone and it didn't work I proceeded to call from a friend's phone to boost mobile and they told me that they sent me the wrong SIM card but I'd have to buy another one. I told him I knew better. My phone was unlocked. It can run any network. I bought it from them. It's compatible but yes they could send me a T-Mobile SIM card not AT&T. They said I'd have to buy one after arguing with him.
I finally hung up and try it again the next day several times. Same thing except for now I needed to buy a new phone and a new SIM card and I needed to create a new account. When I called the local boost Mobile store he said that the transaction was done on boostmobile.com. You know nothing of it and couldn't do anything about it. I have called on several occasions since trying to get something done and arguing to no avail that they owe me at least another sim card or my money back. They will do none of the above. I keep telling me I have to buy a new phone and a new SIM card. I want my money back. I'll never use them again even though I was a customer of theirs for probably 13 years before.

Been a loyal customer of Boost since 2017. Always paid my bill on time or early. I just recently purchased a new phone from Boost and somehow it was sent to my old address. I updated my address when we moved a year ago and haven't had any issues. I made my purchase through customer support and was asked to confirm my address twice, both times it was my current address that was confirmed. I didn't realize this until the day of delivery. I was anxiously waiting and when looking at the tracking information I saw where my old address was where it was going.
I called UPS and they said that the sender was the only one able to change the delivery instructions. When I called Boost I was told that the package would have to be returned to their warehouse, my order would then be canceled and then they would issue me a refund. After all of that is done I would then need to place my order again. This could be done so much simpler. I just needed to get a new phone. I still need to see if UPS will go ahead and return it to Boost. No telling how long till I get my refund.

Well, my phone is still not working. I told them I wanted to cancel the plan and just refund my money. They told me they can't do that.
I asked one of the agents in the "advance Tech department" l wanted to speak with a supervisor in the customer service department, but he would not transfer me there and kept asking me why I wanted to talk to them. He also told me that the reason why my phone wasn't working was because my phone wasn't Boost-compatible (as I mentioned I bought it from the Boost website) and where my original phone was.
Finally, I called them back again and tried to cancel the plan and the supervisor said "Let me text you a code, so you can cancel it." When I told her my phone number which is not with Boost, she said "The number is not showing on our account so we can't send it." Seriously... This time, 2 years later, trying to order the new galaxy, after not receiving a confirmation email for my order, I got an email the next day to contact their customer service or my order would be cancelled. I did. They said that even though the address is the one listed on my account, and on my cards, they couldn't ship it there. I said okay then just cancel.
The next day there was a credit on my account for the purchase price. I called them and said, "I want this refunded to the card I used since YOUR COMPANY won't send the phone, it's not an issue with me or my address." The rep said the phone would need to be (and had been sent out the day prior) shipped (by UPS) and then returned to sender. I said, "Okay. So then I'll get the phone because my address is valid?" She said, "No. It will never reach you," I said, "Well if you're not able to send me the phone why was it even shipped out," she said it needs to be shipped by UPS, go the whole way, in UPS system be marked return to sender, shipped BACK to Boost Mobile, and then they can process my refund, but that I will never physically receive the phone. I said, 'Are you kidding me?!?! Can I at least have the tracking number to follow the progress for the phone?" She said, "No. That's classified information so I cant give you that. SERIOUSLY?!?!

We could not get a hold of Boost, so we made contested the charges with the credit card company. He did not ask for this, did not want it, did not use it and they kept charging it. He didn't have any service when we came to the USA after that. He called and was told he didn't have service. They said he was out of data and they took another $34, told him they were turning his phone back on and never did. Hard to imagine they would tell him what he needed to do, have him agree to it and then renege. That is really the biggest let down. The full blown lie to get more money with no intention of providing service.
We called them and explained that they the point of contesting something with the credit card company is to work it out and that we needed the credit card company's help to get it settled. We offered to show them passport stamps to prove we were out of the country and to say that there is NO WAY he asked for a recurring charge. They refused, hung up on both of us on separate occasions, and never turned on his service for ANYTHING. Even the phone/text we had paid an annual fee to get. Now he has nothing in the USA. He has to make any calls, etc. On wifi. Luckily, we have WhatsApp to call one another.

Please note. Told them I only wanted AT&T, sent to store before and people had no ideal why I was there, 40 mile trip. So I go to store again, was told no problem about getting it done and that they could of taken care of over phone. So store clerk got in phone and was told I will get new phone number. I then had to purchase additional memory monthly from Google 1. The phone will NEVER give my correct location when searching or shopping. My bill is always $61 or $66 dollars a month regardless of who I talk to about my so-called $50 a month plan. They will not allow me to remove the $ 10-a-month insurance that I do not want. My coverage is horrible. Half of the time my phone won't ring or my phone calls get cut off. They list me as having a virtual phone number so there are many things I can not do with this phone. I have had this same phone number for over 10 years and I brought the phone number with me when I switched to them so this is NOT a virtual phone number. They keep the phone locked unlawfully!!! Even though no one signs a contract of their services they will tell you that it's their policy to never unlock a phone. Boost does not get the customer to sign any documentation but yet punishes the customer by not unlocking the phones. Also their phones will purposely break so you have to upgrade. You will never be allowed to talk to any in Corporate because they don't take phone calls. Boost steals phones and customers money. Legal Crooks!!!

I started out as a Virgin Mobile customer in 2013, which was bought out by Boost Mobile and automatically switched over. I have never had a problem with my service and it is very inexpensive. With that being said, my Iphone 7 plus was cracked and I needed an upgrade. I was offered a discount through Boost and purchased my Iphone 12 outright for a great price. I followed the instructions, using my existing Sim card, and have had service with them for the past year that I've had this phone. They have taken my money every month, and I've had no issues. Now, I just moved and my internet provider offered me a year of free service, which would then be cheaper than what I'm paying now after the year is up. So of course I said yes! I called Boost to have the phone unlocked, which was fully paid off from the start and has been on their service for a year, which is their policy, and now there's an issue.
Their system does not show the IEMI number on my account for my new phone. I purchased it through them, have paid them for a year, and they have no record of me activating the phone on their system. I just read Reddit reviews that people have had this same exact issue!!! Long story short, after a long phone call, I was given an E-sim card to use to activate the phone, and was promised it could be unlocked. Which was a downright lie. They will NOT budge on that rule, whether it's their fault or not. I am FURIOUS! I will never recommend this service again, and as soon as this next year passes, since I am enslaved to their service, I will be leaving them.

I recently placed a order with Boost. It was supposed to been a iphone 14. But instead I received a sim card, this purchase was initiated in February. Reached out to support the very next day. It's been over 30 days, I still haven't received my money back! Every time I call they say they've sent my refund but my bank doesn't see any pending or returned transactions. I've never dealt with anything as such. 7-10 day refund policy is obviously 30 Days or more.

The service has been great, since I am running off of AT&T and I have zero complaints!!! I pay $68 a month for 50GB of high-speed data and Boost Protect! Boost Mobile is amazing and their Boost One app is great because so far I saved $3.70 in 24 hours from playing games, watching videos, and downloading apps. Boost has been great!

Second time when a bill was due about 5 months I paid the 50 dollars for my bill but my services was still disconnected because once again the whole data package that I've been using is now no longer good so I was forced to switch to the 60 plan.
And most recently my mobile hotspot just up and stopped working and I was told that I needed to buy not on but 2 different extra package which came to 25 dollars so I did and guess what. My mobile hotspot was still inactive and it's was compatible and I've been using hotspot with this phone for months. And when I called customer service I was told that the data package that I bought was used up already and I was like, "How when my mobile hotspot isn't working" and the supervisor goes to tell me, "Well if you buy a extra package add on that should fix the issue" and I was like, "Hell no. I just did that 2 days ago and the data magically disappeared."

I started to place the order but before I could update the address or even change the card I wanted to use the order went through. I called to tell them I had to change the shipping address as packages get stolen from the one on file. Only to be told they would not update address nor would they cancel. Knowing I may never get the phone. Then I never got the email to confirm shipping with the tracking number. Boost is the worst. The customer service is crap. Service was fine for a couple weeks then the connection got so bad that people couldn't hear me and vice-versa; then the phone wouldn't accept my password (my guess because of the poor reception in the middle of Dallas!) and it LOCKED ME OUT over and over again until it was permanent and the Boost rep told me it was a problem with the iPhone 15 itself. After 1.5 hours of double- and triple-troubleshooting at the Apple store, they said the phone wasn't the problem. Of course, by now I'm past my 30-day return period and all Boost kept tell me was that the 30-day window to return had passed. BTW this is my first ever bad review for any business or product. We had 4 lines with Boost which we had set up pre-paid for a reason. When we called to port our main two phone numbers over to another carrier because of poor cell reception, they took it upon themselves to take a debit card we had pre-paid with and set the other two lines on auto pay without our consent or knowledge. $560 later they lied and said we set up the auto pay when we were porting our other numbers to another carrier. Why would someone change the way we set up payments, for a reason, to a company we were very displeased with??? When we asked for the cell usage of the two lines we paid for, unwillingly, we were told to get a subpoena. We were already told by them that there was no service on those lines between the time they were stealing our money. And it is theft! An attorney will be involved.

Worst customer service. Purchased a new phone in January. It was never received. Contacted Boost, said had to wait a week before they would open a claim. Claim was opened and had to wait another week for UPS to research. UPS determined package was lost at their facility. UPS would issue a refund to Boost. Boost said it would be 6 weeks or more before they could issue a refund. I disputed charge with my credit card company. Boost immediately suspended my service. I had to repay for the phone in order to restore service.
Now weeks later Boost has closed my claim because I made a dispute. I keep explaining that I was recharged. Have spoken to numerous supervisors. Keep saying they need the phone back to inspect before can work on a refund. I keep telling them UPS has lost it. If you track the original tracking number it clearly states package lost at UPS facility. Boost just does not want to resolve issues. I have moved to another provider. The money is gone!

On 2/20/24 my phone was lost/stolen. I reported it to Boost Mobile. Upon reporting the missing phone, I was given the opportunity to order a new on through customer service since I was still hospitalized. I explained to the representative that my billing address is the same as my mailing address. He repeated the address back to me several times with me verifying it back to him.
Two hours later, I received an email notifying me of my order. I immediately noticed that the shipping address was different from the billing address. I called to inform Boost Mobile but they insisted that there was nothing they could do and that I needed to speak with UPS. Upon speaking with UPS, they stated that the package shipment delivery address could not be changed by the receiver and that Boost Mobile would have to be the ones to change it. Therefore, I called back and notified them of what UPS stated. Again, they assured me that there was nothing they could do and the package would not be delivered to a vacant premises. Unfortunately, this was a understatement. I used tracking to understand that the package was delivered on 2/27/24. Now, I have no phone and out of $220.49.
I called Boost explaining the circumstances and they basically told me that there was nothing they could do. By me being in a hospital when my original phone went missing, I called the administrators of the hospital and my original phone immediately appeared and was given back to me. I called my financial institution and requested a charge back for the $220.49.
Upon Boost learning about the charge back they suspended my services and refused to help me any further unless I paid for another month of services. I felt this was wrong because my current services was paid for on 2/15/24 and was not due until 3/15/24. Now, I requested my account number, a transfer pin, and my original phone to be unlocked so I could go to a different company. Boost Mobile refused to unlock the original phone that I paid in full over 3 1/2 years ago. The Boost representative would not give me a reasoning for this decision. I called back and talked with Niecey. She stated the phone would be unlocked within 24 hours. It's been 24 hours and the device is still locked.

The insurance said they denied the claim because my name was misspelled and my address was my business address. This was a Boost mobile error, I had no way to correct it and for over 2 years they took my money for insurance. They tell me I have to get a transfer pin (wasn't told this during my boost store visit or 5 calls to Boost "customer service").
I call again and jump the hoops and again I get transfered to a department that has to give me the pin and again was placed on hold another 32 minutes. I hang up and call back a 7th time. After 2 more people needing to "verify" me I get to the "transfer pin gatekeeper" in which I advise him He is on speaker phone with the entire new cell store, customers, sales staff and myself. After more ridiculous verification steps, 20+ minutes waiting for all this system protocols on boost's part to get me this "holy grail" transfer pin I get it and hang up. I paid for a month of Boost in order to obtain a transfer number to switch services to **. On the day I made payment my service was also canceled with Boost as I was activated with **. Boost is now telling me I cannot get a refund even though my service was canceled the same day I made my payments. One employee told me that my payment was consumed by the system; whatever that means. So anyone that cancels boost that has an outstanding balance on their monthly fees will not get a refund. That is robbery to the 100th and 20th degree. I don't like boost. I will never go back. I will encourage others to never use their service. They cheat customers out of a lot of money and I am really pissed off.

I am experienced the worst phone company ever in 2024. I had a very important phone call that I was on hold for for at least 45 minutes to an hour all for me to be connected and for the call to abruptly drop and it seems like all my calls have been dropping lately. I couldn't call out and no one can call me. I have to literally be connected to Wi-Fi in most times that gets disconnected. I am over the fact that I call customer service to try to fix the problem or see if there's anything that I may need to do to update my phone. But all updates have been updated.
The customer service rep that I had spoken to on January 11th at around 4:30 did not reassure me, pretty much told me that a tower was down. When I asked the question the phone went silent and he was still on the phone and he wasn't talking so to not reassure me or either give me help. I give this company no stars if possible. This was pretty much unprofessional and I feel as if my needs are not being met considering that I have a total of four phones with this company and I'm paying the money that I paid to have services that I do not have or receive. So as of this week I am no longer going to be doing business with Boost Mobile. I will take my business elsewhere and get phones with someone else. The service suck! Kind regards, a very upset customer who pays too much money for a phone or phones that don't work. Boost you have to do better if you want our money!

I spoke to a representative name Amanda and I just told him a new job but I've been paying my bill on time since 2018. I just was going to get paid two days after my due date and I have an autistic kid that's on my line. I just asked for them to please let me have some time to pay the bill when I get paid and they said because it's the prepaid service that they can't do anything about it but yet a couple weeks ago when I'm on the phone with another representative they said that they were going to credit me for months when I couldn't pay $100 and something dollars. So how did that change from then to now?
I'm not happy with that service. I'm a loyal customer but for a company that cares about their money more than their customer's struggles that's sad. I'm very, very disappointed how they handle a loyal customer when I paid on time every month. People please watch out the companies that you get and how they treat their customers even after almost 20 years of great service

I’ve been with Boost Mobile for over 10 yrs and service was great. 3 phones on my account. Ever since they’ve gotten a new system, there’s no assistance with bills and they now send your bill notification 1-2 days before it’s due. Normally they’d notify you a week prior! Also, they used to let you extend or make partial payments, not anymore. New coming customers get discounts and assistance, nothing for existing customers at all! Currently looking for a new phone carrier that will value me as a customer!! Completely unsatisfied!

Well it's always 5 cents, and at times it's not even added to the account. Boost is nothing but a gimmick. I went to boost to save money. In the end I spending what I had before. So I will be looking for another provider.

I decided to try Boost Mobile out for a month. Are you still like them when they first came out and thought that I would try them again. Not only do they advertise that you get unlimited data which is not true. They change their terms to be only for 30 days. You take your payment information off but they'll still charge your card. Without your permission. And then when you ask for a refund they tell you that you can't because they decided to start the new account. I switched to Straight Talk. I have unlimited data for the whole month without my service ever ending. Plus the towers are more frequently around my area so I do not have to reset my phone consistently. I feel sorry for the way that they run their business and they scam people.

Nothing is working right. I been to a boost mobile store and they only want to do the basic troubleshooting. I have been on a chat with a representative and they will do the same thing. Upgraded from the $25 plan (30GB) to the $60 Unlimited Plan (35GB). Advertising shows just that, not saying that whatever data you've already used on previous plan will not reset! So basically, you're paying 35 extra dollars for 5GB....when you could just go to add-ons and add a few GB for a few dollars. That product is very misleading! Plus, they're not budging on accommodating a loyal customer with a few credits for Data or nothing!! Lol. Told me I could purchase some as an add-on!

However, after speaking with Andy and the options he laid out and the awesome deals he was offering along with the top-notch service I felt very confident in going with one of the deals he offered, I'm getting a better phone than I have now for 5.00 dollars a month and my plan is as good or better than my current plan. My current phone is over 5 years old and is having problems so it's time to do this.
On top of that, if I don't like the phone I get from boost I have 30 days to return it and get the other phone I was debating on getting, more expensive than the one I decided on but overall I will still be paying less than I am now. The phone I am getting is the A23 for 5.00 a month and the other was the S23 which is 20 something a month, 799.00 total I believe and the plan is 25.00 dollars a month for unlimited everything. This also includes tax, so whatever state you're in you'll be paying that tax amount, I am in CA rip off state and our tax is 18%, (thanks Gavin N.).
Anyway, I hope this all works out well, I've had boost in the past and I never had any issues with them, I switched because I was struggling big with money and I found a better deal and boost would not match it so I left after being with them for years. Now I am back thanks to their great rep Andy from New Jersey, love Jersey Mikes subs, the best! That's my spule!
God Bless America. Merry Christmas! And yes Santa is real, the Santa story comes from a Bishop. The character of Santa Claus originated from a 3rd-century monk called Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas lived in modern-day Turkey and became well-known for his kindness and generosity – it is believed that he gave away all his inheritance to the poor and needy, and devoted his time to serving those less fortunate. The story is he inherited a lot of money from his parents and then gave to the poor. He would sneak into homes and put gifts into their stockings hanging on the fire place hence where the current tradition comes from! Jesus had a major impact on this planet and we are very lucky for this!

I went to Boost Mobile in Muscle Shoals, AL, to swap from ATT to Boost to save money. However, after spending 3 hours in the store they could not get my phone to make or receive calls. After they took my payment, they told me the phone was locked and I would have to go to ATT to get unlocked. I went to the ATT store and was able to get it unlocked through their customer service. I then went back to Boost Mobile and they still could not get the phone to make or receive phone calls. Boost said to give it 24 to 48 hours. I gave it 48 hours and still not able to make or receive calls. Worked with them for another hour and they stated it was an ATT problem. Then called ATT and worked with their lead Tech for 1-1/2 hours and still could not make or receive phone calls.
It was also suggested to do a factory reset which I did. Still did not work. I then had to switch back to ATT. In order to switch back I had to get Boost to release my number. Well guess what, they had to call my phone number (you know the one that cannot make or receive phone calls) to get my permission to release the number. I could receive text, but they would not text me for the approval. So I ended up having to change my number. The icing on the cake is that they will not refund me the $70.89 I paid them for a service that would not work. Called their support line and the manager "SAM" told me that since I called in the 10 day window, that I could get a refund and it would take 2-3 days. "SAM" even gave me a reference number.
They close the ticket in 2-3 days but still have not received a refund. Called back after 7 days, and they told me they do not know why "SAM" told me that. They cannot refund me and that I would have to go to the store to get a refund. I called the store and they told me that I could not get a refund because it was after 7 days and furthermore, since I brought my own device they will not refund the activation fee or the monthly fee. They did tell me if I had bought a device from them that they would have been able to refund me. My recommendation is to stay very very far away from Boost Mobile.
