I needed an out of state number and the rep told me they would send me a phone and then I'd choose the area code phone number I need. Phone arrived with a number already attached and after 2 hrs and 3 different reps they said they were very sorry but I'd have to physically return the phone to South Carolina which is roughly 1,500 miles away. After repeated reminders that it was ridiculous she came back on the line and said I could send it to South Carolina at my own expense but that there was no guarantee they would refund my money because the phone was technically usable. IT HAS THE WRONG STATES PHONE NUMBER!!! It's very NOT usable for my business. Anyway, this company is a racket. Id rather pay more and actually get a phone I can use. I'm sticking with Verizon!!

Customer service is an absolute nightmare. We added global data on our 10 day trip to Europe in October, canceled it after we came back. I didn't pay attention to the bill and realized we were still being charged. It took 3 months of chatting and calling and they still didn't remove the charge. They will not give credit if it has already been billed. They did give me a $20 "keep you as a customer" after the 2nd month to pay for that month's mis-billing. After 3 months, and spending 2 hours chatting with a very low-trained agent, I finally called and spent 45 minutes canceling my service. Never again.

I have been a Boost Mobile customer for over 10 years, and the service has become completely unacceptable. I currently have four phone lines, and two of them rarely work at all. We have reset the phones multiple times, Boost has supposedly moved us to a different tower, and the problem still isn’t fixed. These phones frequently show no service, making them essentially useless.

One of these lines is my business phone, and because of this ongoing issue I have lost a significant amount of business from missed calls and messages.

What makes this even more frustrating is the customer service. I have contacted Boost at least 15 times in the past 6 months and spent around 20 hours on the phone, only to get nowhere. Every time I’m told to reset something or that the issue will be fixed, but nothing ever changes. I am literally paying for two phone lines I cannot use. After being a loyal customer for a decade, this level of service is extremely disappointing. Boost Mobile needs to take these issues seriously and actually resolve them for their customers.

I wouldn't even give a single star, I have been a loyal customer for over 6 years and found a better price with another carrier and due to personal circumstances decided to switch to help my budget. Boost knowingly allowed me to port my number out but failed to tell me I had like 40 days left on a phone deal I had purchased that would leave my device unusable at the new carrier.

They in turn wanted me to start new service again, mind you I still had a week paid when they disconnected me for porting out my number. They specifically asked if I was going to use the device and I said yes, they intentionally omitted the information about the lock on my phone for another 40 ish days and let me port unknowingly. That's just plain ole dirty business. Had I known I would have gladly continued my service with them for the remainder of time but no, now they want fee here, fee there and pre paid up to the date in order to unlock my phone after said date. I can't even pay just a fee and they would not work with me at all on reinstating my previous account. I would not recommend service here, they play dirty games just to pry more and more money out of you.

Secondly why wasn't this stated then in January bill pay period so my bill is due before the 17th of each month. I send them 55 dollars on the 15th. Talk to someone to make the payment. Why wasn't this brought up then, then on the 17th they decided to go in my account and take another 55 dollars out of my account and they said she doesn't know how to help me cause it's stated I missed December like I said. Boost doesn't even give you any time after your bill is due. All of my 6 kids and wife are with boost but after this we all will be finding another carrier if this is the way they conduct business. I had service with Boost Mobile for nearly ten years. The app slowly got worse. Service was okay. I ordered a new Samsung phone last July and the delivery was delayed or lost in transit and that experience was very frustrating. I canceled the order and reversed the $110 initial payment with my bank. I called Boost and had my phone unlocked so I could switch to a new carrier, explaining to the rep the debacle with my phone order was why I was canceling my Boost account. The rep unlocked my phone and I set up an account with a new carrier and upgraded my phone with them.

Fast forward to 2-12-26, I am now a Mint customer and that's been great, but my credit score took a 64 point dip because of a new collections on my credit report? The phone I never received from Boost now shows as an unpaid balance. I called Boost to investigate this. While the rep was assisting me, she advised me that my automatic payment was still active on Boost. Oh? Then... how did the account go unpaid? I would have seen charges on my bank statement and my account could not have gone to collections.

I asked when the last payment was debited. No answer. I asked that the automatic payments be canceled. I got kind of a weird response but I was told this would be handled within 72 hours and I would receive an email confirming the amount was removed and the collections account removed. It's been only 24 hours but I'm losing confidence. I also filed a dispute with Equifax. I don't have a lot of confidence with Boost. I believe their excuse for not delivering my phone was they claimed my address had been incomplete on my order. But I had been a customer for at least ten years. That's when it becomes clear, this is a bad company.

Illegal Indian scam call centers. Boost is selling full price iPhones unlocked that are locked. If you pay full price for a iPhone boost written corporate policy is "immediate unlocking" or 2 day ". They will not unlock the iphone under any circumstance: after 20 calls to India, China, South Africa "rent a call center" and a week Later. The call centers are not boost employees but third party professional scammers who refuse to port out, refuse to document anything they say as they lie to you with no transparency, they have you sign mandatory contracts when they are a "no contract " company: on a full price phone which is another scam. The representative don't speak (good) English. It's illegal to lock a cell Phone that's paid in full. You will get nowhere with boost for resolution. They will steal, cheat, lie and defraud you. Professional scammers and fraudsters.

They hide the contracts saying sign for the phone which requires e-signature. That then was connected to a three page contract that was not disclosed, nor was a copy provided. I never seen anything but the signature box. Run run run from boost as this is a Punjabi Indian scam company with no validity. If you buy a phone outright you own the phone not boost. By boost locking the phone they own the phone: it makes the phone worthless and you can never change carrier. They will Not let you port out so They blackmail you into a life time contract. When I tried to Port out they have me fake port out numbers that were rejected.

Custom service has zero product knowledge and they don't know their own corporate policy. The best way to deal With boost is to contact the FCC and your reverse your bank charges. They will not provide a refund. If you order from boost online you cannot go to a store for help as they are independently owned and will not help You. The people in India will send you to the store to wear you out with no help there. They run you in circles as no one provides any assistance but constantly con you. And if you're lucky to receive any correspondence from boosts it's written in Chinese form. The Chinese scam call center. I have copies of correspondence in Chinese when I am in USA. No translation. No English.

Ask The phone reps on the phone where they are from, they are trained to not answer or lie, they will say west coast when it's India. Don't give your personal information to third world country foreigners that are not boost employees. They are subcontracting third party call centers scam companies, which is 100 percent of boost employees.

Hello. I’m posting this review with the hope that “the predators, AKA Boost mobile” make this right. I’m a mariner, Sea-Man and I go away working in a cargo boat 3-6 months at a time. Long story short I comeback home looking for the phone replacement I was supposed to get 8 months ago thru boost insurance (filed my claim, they approved it, but since then, their website keeps re-directing me to call them but after I call, they keep saying my claim it’s in process and call disconnects). Back in 2025 I was with boost paying $62,48 for two lines with hot-spot included; then I get the offer in mail to get iPhone16 for $149 dollars which I signed up for but then, after I opened my claim for lost equipment, I find out the it was all a lie because they tell me that I have a loan, and I’m financing it but none of these was disclosed to me at a time of signing. That’s one.

Second: as you can see thru my posted pictures, I find out that during the month of July alone, 7-12-2025, I see that Boost mobile has withdrawn from my checking account, 8 different times without my authorization a total of $379.64; in charges and since then, they’ve been using it as their personal checking account withdrawing basically anything they want. Third: they have been collecting monthly payments for lost iPhone but still I have no phone. I strongly recommend to check your statements and stay away from automatic payments because it seems that, they’re just out here to clean your bank accounts.

I have a perfectly fine phone that I was using a while ago with Boost Mobile. I asked them to unlock the device. They can not do so because they had locked the device to be used only with Sprint. Boost Mobile was with Sprint at that time.

They have ruined a perfectly fine device. They are unable to resolve the problem they have caused. They can not make an exception and unlock the device I am currently using and their solution is to buy a new device. I said that's your solution then you provide me with a replacement for the device you have locked and you are unable unlocked. I have tried to speak with them and it's been very unpleasant. They are very arrogant and disrespectful. This is what you get after almost 2 decades of being their custome.

When I requested refund on my service that was only two days into new cycle. They made it impossible to obtain requested refund. They don't care. If you're looking for good phone service Boost Mobile is not it!!! I promise.

Each time they walked me through how to fix the issue. Assured me the issue was corrected and it was not. Last time I called I was told they were sending me a new SIM card and that would take about 10 days. It's been over 2 and a half weeks.. I told them to stop my automatic payments because I was switching my service but of course they have not done so. I'm very disappointed with this company!!!

Can't find a good company to save my life! It's all about greed and profit while they take away key features that brought you to them in the first place. My husband ordered me a new phone... So Boost Mobile took the money right away on 12/30/25. On Wed the 31st all Boost had done was create a label. Now we called several times. No one speaks English. The first CSR said, "You will get it when you get it," which made us mad, THe supervisor didn't know anything either, So I made a few phone calls to a family member who works for UPS and they found out that Boost had not contacted them to pick up a package for me,,, Now this was Friday 1/02/26, But we spoke to a supervisor on the 2nd and I told her this is fraud. Gave her my banker's name, the bank name and location and that I was sending all this information to them and letting them file a fraud charge, When we ordered the phone we gave the CSR our email. She put in the old email address and all emails were going to an email we had no access to.

So to sum this up is Boost Mobile needs to go out of business. Their customer service sucks and they do not care about their customers.. So they need to prorate my line because by the time I get my phone it will be 2 weeks of not having it,, But I think when I get it we are switching to to Truth Mobile. I hate Boost Mobile. They suck,,, I hope the CEO or Owner sees this and hopefully does something before they keep losing customers because we also have Dish which I'm wanting to go to DirecTV or Fire Stick ...

Boost refused to port out the numbers according to my new carrier, so I decided it would be easier to get new numbers rather than deal with Boost customer service. I then found that Boost network locked my phone and my new SIM card would not work. I called and waited on hold again. This time I was told that I had not had the phone with Boost for a year so they would not unlock it. I looked it up in the app and this was not true. The customer service manager lied. I had bought the phone over two years ago from Boost and paid it in full. I met all the criteria to unlock the phone. I called again and was put on hold.

The customer service rep told me the phone was locked because I had not had it for a year. I told him the exact date I bought it. He put me on hold again and then told me it would be unlocked in two business days. Maybe it will. Scammy business. I never signed up for Boost. I had an account with Boost for me and my husband and our daughters were on metro and we were tired of paying 2 different bills and since 2 of my daughters live over an hour away it's not easy to get them into town so we could swap everyone to boost so we just were going to transfer to Metro for the time being until we get a time you know in the future that we could all get together and go to Metro and switch over. Then while after sitting on the phone for over 18 minutes each time I called boost and three separate times I had to wait on hold for a customer service representative and I told them that I wanted my transfer pin and my account number and after asking three separate times while we were transferring and explaining to them that we didn't want to have two different phone bills we wanted one phone bill for everybody and just all the details they the first one just hung up.

The second time the guy was like, "Yes yes. No problem" which of course you know they have barely speak English so you can't understand half of what they're even saying but I got the gist and he got he understood what I was asking and he said yes. Well then all of a sudden the phone went quiet. No music. No whole thing. Nothing and then he hung up on me and I had full bars so I know it wasn't because of my signal. Then after that I got on there a third time and the lady that I talked to the third time I explained that I wanted to transfer and I needed my transfer pin and account number. She kept on and on pushing about why I will explain to explain to her while we were transferring for the time being and then she kept on and on trying to do "We don't want to lose you as a value customer. We will see if we can do something for your plan or" and I kept saying, "No ma'am."

And after three times of asking about why we were transferring and stuff and I explained to her she kept on and on pushing and pushing and pushing trying to get a stay and wouldn't give us the information. And then my husband got on the phone and the same thing she was saying that out of here and then she would get a second $10 credit to our account and this and that and he kept saying, "No we don't. We just want our information." She kept on and on and on and then we finally said we wanted to speak to a supervisor and then after continuing to push and push and push and US asking and asking for information she still would not give it to us. And then all of a sudden we start hearing music like we have been put on hold and then about 2 minutes after that the lady hung up on us.

I have never had so much issues trying to get it transfer pin and account number to transfer to a different thing and we had to physically go to the boost store get them to call customer service and get our information. So needless to say I don't know that I'll ever come back to boost because of the customer service people and the people in Metro could not believe that they had hung up on us three different times. If they were having an amazed that a customer service representative would do that.

So anyways yeah we had no trouble with our phone bills before that and we would like to boost. We didn't have any issues with our signals and stuff but because our daughters with over an hour away and we can't get them to the boost store to transfer everybody over at the moment that's why we decided to transfer to Metro for the time being. But if they hadn't done that to us we probably would have transferred back at some point when we can get everybody together.

I switched to Boost Mobile expecting to save money, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. The company’s billing system is very confusing, and I noticed transactions being made without my permission. Over the course of three months, I ended up paying nearly $300, with bills appearing 3 to 5 times per month. None of the live agents were able to explain why I was being charged so frequently or provide any clarity about my account. I feel that the company has taken advantage of me, and I am very dissatisfied with their service.

After paying two bills, my phone was disconnected, and I was forced to pay an additional bill to restore my service. On top of that, I was required to pay for December to cancel my service. When I called the company for help, I could barely understand the live agent due to his very thick accent, and he was unable to explain why I was being charged so much. He eventually transferred my call to another department. The second agent refused to cancel my service or provide my transfer PIN, and his English was also very poor. He repeatedly told me that my “device” could not be transferred, even though I explained that I only needed the transfer PIN. I had to ask three times before he finally listened to my request and gave me the information.

The company should prioritize hiring individuals who have strong English communication skills. Effective communication is essential for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that clients feel heard and understood. During my recent interaction, there was significant background noise, and I could barely hear the live agent, which made the experience frustrating. By employing staff who can communicate clearly in English, the company can enhance customer satisfaction and avoid misunderstandings.

Worst company in the world. Terrible to deal with. A company that says there is no contract, they lie. I will never try them again. Just to cancel you have to get a link to verify your identity. Scan the front and back of your license, check a few boxes then wait. My wait time was over 50 minutes. All I wanted to do is cancel my auto pay and any account they have generated in my name. Good luck. You are dealing with foreigners, don't understand what you are saying. Just cancel anything in my name and no longer bill me. All of this in 5 days after I said I would try Boost. Terrible to deal with.

When tried to dial 611 was told I needed to use another phone!! Try finding a usable phone in Mexico... Found out later when got back to the states. My brother had been put in the hospital with near death complications (no he didn't die) but, did not find out about it until after we got back to the states.. NO one could call or text me....

Called Boost when I got to Dallas. They said the "global" talk and text was the wrong one for the part of Mexico I was in.... Really?? thought it was global.... I did get them to pay the money back I had paid for global... but, that is not the point... was lied to about the global talk and text... Finally found another useful cell phone service. TOOK almost 3 hours for them to transfer the phone number to my new carrier... ALSO, customer service is NOT 24/7. thought I was doing good to get a cheaper service. WILL NEVER use boost again... I just ordered a phone two days and it already does not work. Now, it is Friday so I called and talked to Daniel about my situation. My situation is I have another phone that just needs to be unlocked. In order for me to put my new Sim card in it. Daniel told me, after I proved my identity, that he would have to put a order in so that they can unlock the phone on their end. Daniel told there was no one I could talk to in order to expedite the process. Because not only did I just purchase a new phone and do not have the means to just buy another one.

I also explained I need this in order to communicate with my job, my doctors when it comes to changing my medicine because I have stage 1 lung cancer and I need to be in contact with my doctors at all times. I was told they won't even see the order until Monday and so I'm gonna be stuck without a phone for approximately a week. This isn't just a inconvenience for me but a necessity. I not only have no family and no friends that live by me who can check up on me. Do not go with Boost Mobile. I've been with them for years and this is how they treat not only loyal customers but imagine how they would treat regular ones. There are no cracks on the phone that stopped working.

Boost Mobile: A Telecom Black Hole Where Time and Sanity Go to Die. To call Boost Mobile's operational model a standard telecommunications service is a profound disservice to the word "service." It is not a company that provides connectivity; it is a corporate gauntlet designed to maximize user frustration, minimize actual support, and ensnare customers in a low-cost contract that quickly escalates into a high-cost emotional toll. If telecommunications companies were ranked on a scale of sheer administrative hostility, Boost Mobile wouldn't just top the list—it would be the standard against which all other corporate nightmares are judged. This is not just bad customer service; this is a meticulously engineered ecosystem of incompetence.

The Purchasing Paradox: Cheap Phones, Priceless Frustration. The trap is set at the point of purchase. Boost Mobile lures customers in with seemingly irresistible phone deals and low monthly rates. But buying a phone from Boost isn’t a transaction; it’s signing a lease agreement with a digital warden. The Lock-In: These devices aren't yours; they are instruments of captivity. Should you ever decide the pain of staying outweighs the cost of leaving, you discover your Boost phone is locked down tighter than Fort Knox. The process to unlock it—even after fulfilling all contractual obligations—is a bureaucratic horror show designed to fail. It guarantees that any attempt to switch providers involves either a months-long fight or the outright purchase of a new device.

The Compatibility Nightmare: In the rare instance a customer manages to escape and keep their device, they often find the phone is mysteriously incompatible with every other major network, despite being a standard model. This forces customers back into the Boost orbit or mandates buying yet another high-cost replacement phone elsewhere. The low initial price tag is a classic bait-and-switch: they save money on hardware by ensuring you spend infinitely more time and energy breaking free of their ecosystem.

The Customer Service Abyss: The Digital Purgatory. The real core of the Boost Mobile experience is their customer service—or rather, the calculated failure of it. Engaging with a Boost Mobile representative is less about seeking a solution and more about entering a digital purgatory where common sense is suspended and time ceases to have meaning.

The experience is standardized, miserable, and soul-crushing:

    1. The Wait Time as Punishment

The journey begins not with a friendly greeting, but with the digital equivalent of an hour-long loop of elevator music punctuated by static and automated voices promising that "your call is very important to us." This wait is not accidental; it serves to soften the customer, exhausting them before they even speak to a human. By the time a live voice answers, the caller has already expended 50% of their daily resolve.

    2. The Transfer Vortex

Once connected, the representative’s sole function appears to be triage, not resolution. No matter the issue—a simple billing question, a network activation problem, or a porting error—the first agent inevitably determines they are the wrong person.

The customer is then thrown into the Transfer Vortex: relayed from Billing to Technical Support, from Technical Support to the infamous "Escalation Team," and inevitably, back to the starting point. Each transfer involves re-explaining the entire, convoluted history of the problem to a new, equally powerless voice reading from the same outdated script. Hours vanish into this vortex, never retrieving a single minute of productivity or peace of mind.

The Agents: Script Readers, Not Problem Solvers

The single most frustrating element of Boost Mobile is the human interface. The customer service workers are not inherently malicious, but they are demonstrably ill-equipped, inadequately trained, and fundamentally disenfranchised from solving actual problems.

They are not customer service agents; they are script gatekeepers.

The Rigid Script: The representatives are seemingly locked into a decision tree printed on a binder circa 2005. If your problem deviates even slightly from the prescribed flow chart, the system collapses. There is zero room for critical thinking, empathy, or practical fixes. They will refuse to acknowledge the obvious solution if it is not explicitly listed in Step 4B of their training manual.

The Powerless Persona: Trying to get an agent to execute a simple task—like reversing a clearly erroneous charge or correctly inputting a modem number—feels like asking them to personally fund the transaction. They lack system access, high-level permissions, and, crucially, the training necessary to navigate complex account issues. Escalating the problem is met with polite resistance until the customer is forced to resort to exasperated fury just to speak to a supervisor, who often proves just as restricted.

The Disconnection: There is a profound emotional disconnection. When dealing with Boost Mobile, the caller is not viewed as a valued customer needing assistance, but as an annoyance interrupting system stability. The agents are experts in non-committal language, promising resolution "within 24 to 48 hours" knowing full well that clock runs infinitely.

A Final Warning. Boost Mobile is the perfect demonstration that the lowest price often yields the highest hidden cost: your time, your patience, and your sanity. They have weaponized bureaucratic hurdles and poorly managed workforce to make the cost of switching providers so prohibitively high that frustrated customers simply give up and accept the digital abuse. If you value seamless connectivity, reliable service, and the fundamental respect due to a paying consumer, run—do not walk—away from the temptation of Boost Mobile. It is a company that succeeds only in proving that when it comes to telecom, the horror stories are real, and they are orchestrated meticulously.

And here lately I've been losing signal going to emergency calls only for no reason bc as soon as I put it on airplane mode and take it off it goes right back to full signal most of the time sometimes I have to do it a few times or cut my phone off and back on and I'll be sitting in the same spot, I didn't move where I from where I was at and it happens probably a couple times a week here lately.

They need to take this 5G crap and get rid of it and go back to 4G because it's 5G ain't worth having If I'm going to pay for a cell phone and service it should work especially when it used to work when it was only 4G instead of 5G that doesn't make any sense. I would advise fun and a new carrier that's better. I don't know which one is but I wouldn't go with Boost if I had to do it again. They need to go back to the old network. If I could give them zero stars I would give them zero out of 5. Went back 10/6, asked to have phone factory reset and start over. Associate did that and still could not set up phone, Assoc sent me to other store where manager (Tim **} was said to be "more competent".

Tim worked with it for 30 minutes couldn't set it up. Called Tech support and Tim worked with them over phone another 30 minutes, couldn't set it up. Said they would turn it over to higher level of tech support and call within 24 to 72 hours. No phone call, went back to store after 72 hours and asked Tim if he was called, no. Told Tim I just wanted refund on phone. Tim said he spoke with his manager and they would not do refund because it wasn't returned within 5 days. Told Tim Boost return/refund policy is 30 days for on-line or in-store purchase. Tim said they have their own policy and he would not provide name or number to his manager. Said the only way he could take back phone is they try to file insurance claim but I would have to pay deductible.

10/8 called customer service and they confirmed 30 day for instore purchase. Asked them to call store and tell them that and they said they could not call the store. Asked to speak to supervisor, explained situation again and asked if he could call store. He said he could not call the store and suggested I call the manufacturer of the phone. Are you kidding me! I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said this is as high as it goes. He said he could start an internal review but it was strictly internal and the store would not be notified. Asked him what the purpose of the review was and he said it was strictly internal and I could call back after 72 hours.

I have since purchased a new phone from another company and was in and out in 30 minutes with all features working fine. Associate was very tech proficient and customer service great. It is hard to believe that Tim ** and the associates are that incompetent and customer service sucked. This could have been an easy fix by just replacing the phone and starting over (faulty). I switched to Boost about 7 years ago. We got the family plan, 4 lines for $100. The first few years, it was good. Not great, but good. They would slow down data to the point of having to connect to Wifi to access the internet. This was due to "peak usage". To be expected for the price you're paying. A couple of years ago, they changed their app around. When my bill was due, I would get text messages reminding me to make a payment. When they changed the app, this no longer happened. They were very persistent on me using autopay. No thanks. Then I started getting the text message reminders again saying for example, "Your bill is due on the 29th". Then, they would cut my phone off on the 28th or sometimes the 27th. I asked about this with the salesman at the Boost store he said straight out "They do that so you will enroll in autopay".

On Oct.4 of this year, I was told "You're due for an upgrade". I hadn't bought a new phone since 2022 at Boost. I went to the same store I always go to, and paid cash for the phone. Just like I did in 2022. Only this time, when my bill was due, It was $150!! I contacted customer service, they said " Your price structure was changed due to the upgrade. It cannot be changed now." This did NOT happen when I upgraded in 2022. This was also only for an upgrade to 1 phone, not all of them. Also, I am locked into this price in perpetuity. So here's the math: Paid $150 for the phone. $150/month forever. The cost of the phone new is $300. After 12 months I will have paid $750 for a $300 phone?? None of this was explained to me when I bought the phone, or I would have bought something else. Then, I find out the phone is locked for 12 months.

This company is the WORST!! They are predatory and customer service is awful!! I bought 4 new phones elsewhere at reasonable prices, and switched to another company the day I found all this out. If you have a phone with them for 12 months, and haven't upgraded, DON'T! Leave them and go elsewhere, there are better, less expensive, options out there. Horrible company.

I wanted a full refund so I could go to another company and she told me she couldn’t do that and my only option was to spend another $160 on top of the $300 I just paid for new phone 4 days before!!! So, I’ve got a supposedly new Boost phone that doesn’t work with no refund whatsoever!!! I left there and went to T-Mobile since that’s who my internet is with. Now, I know why so many boost mobile stores are closing. DO NOT EVER BUY A BOOST MOBILE PHONE!!! They do not stand by their phones and couldn’t care less if you go to another company. To my surprise, customer service told me there’s no way to unlock the phone, not even if I’m willing to pay for it! Basically, if I travel and don’t take my Boost SIM card, I’m supposed to just throw my phone away because it’s useless outside their network. That’s total disrespect to loyal customers. A serious company should at least allow unlocking after years of good standing. Think twice before buying a Boost Mobile locked phone. They trap customers with no fair option to leave — not even if you pay.

If I could put -5 stars for rating I would put that! They are the worse FRAUD ever!!! Act good and cheap but customer support and representatives have no knowledge of technology and phones! I was looking for a cell phone provider with support of a eSIM. I spoke with 2 service representatives, after providing my phone info, IMEI and manufacturer info and they both assured me that I can have eSIM activated. Bought the deal online, and was told to as activate physical SIM card and then call customer service that they will transfer it to be eSIM.

Upon activation of physical SIM card, I called customer support. The guy who answered first asked for the info on my phone. Then he said how my phone doesn't support eSIM (even though I have him both IMEI where one of them is called IMEI (eSIm) and even though I already used it all over the world with many different providers including T-Mobile. After I explained that then he said how my phone doesn't support dual sim. I said I don't need dual sim, I have one physical that I use and just want the Boost physical to convert to eSIM as I was told by multiple Boost agents including their AI chat! I was then told that my phone doesn't support eSIm. After asking for manager, manager was confirming the story.

Due to false advertisement I asked to disconnect the phone and get refund on my purchase so I can go somewhere else and get eSIM. They asked is it a new number or transferred. After I said it's new, they said their policy is not covering this as the service is provided/card is activated and I have number running. I said I asked for eSIM, your agents told me yes just activate sim and call to swap to eSIM which now you are saying my phone doesn't support even though I had plenty times used it. This is a basic example of fraud! Selling something that you don't support and then don't want to give refund as your policy doesn't support it! They ended up hanging up on my call when I asked to talk to manager after they offered me to cancel the line with no refund!

Y'all! This company has horrible customer service! Every time you call, you get a different answer. I signed up a year ago and was put on the wrong plan and had to call 10+ times (no exaggeration) to get their mistake fixed. Finally, on the Infinite Access For Galaxy plan, they claim you're eligible to upgrade to the newest phone annually. I got the notice I was due for an upgrade (currently have an S24 Ultra). When I clicked the upgrade option, there were only Galaxy S series phones available. I called. The first person said you can't upgrade until the new year (wrong). I called again, and the woman said I have to send my phone back AND THEN they send the new one (wrong).

I called again and was told I cannot get the Galaxy Z Flip and I MUST continue with the S series unless I pay off the current phone ($1000). The corporate office called me yesterday and said she reviewed the T&C, which don't say it must be the same series Galaxy, and she'd work on it. Today she calls back and says, "You do have to get the S series and cannot switch to the Z series." Ummmm....the plan is called the Infinite Access For *Galaxy*! THEY ARE BOTH GALAXY!!!!

Ms. Corporate office continued to give me typical customer service retention answers, but no real solution to the fact that misinformation is rampant within the company and they are not honest with advertising!!! Go look at the description for the Infinite Access For Galaxy plan....it says S or Z series annually and no mention of having to stay within the series for upgrades!!! CAREFUL.... you won't get what you paid for or any straight answers. Once this phone is paid off in another year, I'm changing carriers!!!
