I have two packages that have been sitting with Pitney Bowes. One in CA and one in IN. The packages were dropped off with Pitney Bowes at the beginning of the month and still have not been sent to USPS yet. This is insane. I understand that shipping delays are to be expected during the holiday season, but the delay is not with USPS or with actually delivering the package. It is just sitting in the same spot.

I ordered 11 items from Old Navy on 12/5 and they have been sitting in Indiana since 12/12. Two of the items were shipped separately via UPS (in separate packages) and I received these on 12/11 and 12/16. Contacted Old Navy on 12/21 to see if these would arrive by Christmas and was told to not expect to receive them at all. They did issue me a refund and told me if they happened to show up up I should call back to have them recharge me for the items.

So, I feel like I’m just repeating what everyone else has said, but I ordered clothes on Black Friday (not giving company's name because they’ve been wonderful and don’t deserve criticism) and the items “shipped” within a few days. My package has been stuck in Hebron, KY since 12/4. It’s hasn’t moved once. Obviously ordering on Black Friday, I expected the package to be here long before Christmas. After reading other reviews, my question is, are they even moving any packages? Or is everything they receive just rotting in a warehouse somewhere?

I placed an order on Dec 1 with The Beard Club. It was shipped through Pitney Bowes and tracking reflected that my parcel was delivered to its Memphis facility on Dec 4. It NEVER LEFT THERE. USPS has no record of having ever received it. The Beard Club sent another order. Tracking data showed that it arrived in Hebron KY on Dec 14, arrived in Greenwood IN on Dec 16, then departed Hebron KY on Dec 18 (how it got back to Hebron I'll never know), apparently never arrived in Greenwood IN but somehow departed there on Dec 19. You cannot contact them by phone or email. They have a recorded message advising you to contact your retailer because they don't have any information on your tracking other than what's posted online. I've read numerous other complaints on social media sites expressing the same non-receipt of packages and inability to contact anyone who can help. And the retailers refuse to issue refunds.

My company has had a Pitney Bowes mail station postage meter for over 10 years. The one we were using was being discontinued, and we were asked to return it for the new model, which we did. The new model doesn't calculate small packages (boxes). It only weighs regular and large envelopes. 90% of our mailings are small boxes. We complained that this machine was not what we needed. We were told that the lease agreement we signed stated that we were obligated for 4 years. When I looked at the agreement, I found that statement buried in the document. To break the lease, I was told that I would have to pay $1515.69, which was more than 4 years of monthly payments. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have several packages sitting at a Pitney Bowes shipping facility in Indiana. They’ve been sitting there since December 2. Ordered plenty of time for Christmas. Long past ship dates. Never received by USPS. Thought it was just me until I read all these reviews. Understandably there is delays this time of year but going on a month of not moving a package is criminal. It’s theft and it should be investigated! Last time I checked it was a federal offense to tamper with USPS packages!! If you just read the reviews on this page alone there are hundreds to thousands of packages MIA. People are under enough stress in 2020. How are Indian authorities allowing a company to do this to Citizens, Truly sickening and infuriating.

Shame on Old Navy and apparently any other company that allows you to touch their packages. Looks like every person on ratings has chosen the worst possible choice available. My experience is the same as everyone. Ordered from Old Navy on December 4th and they shipped my order in 2 separate packages. Left their place that night. Left Old Navy warehouse 12-4-20 At 6:13pm. Arrived Sparks, NV on 12-6-20 At 7:39am. In transit from Sparks, NV 12-7-20 At 4:34pm. Completed unloading at delivery location Greenwood, IN 12-9-20 At 11:00am....Never been touched since in 11 days.
Old Navy website changes my delivery date every 2 days to further away. Order placed on 12-4-20. Was supposed to be 5-7 business days delivering. Was just updated by them on delivery by 12-28 and that's a joke since hasn't been seen in 11 days. They will update tomorrow and sure it will be pushed to January. Dirtiest part is I paid for items on 12-4 $164.93. They made sure they got theirs when they took my order and sending me emails to order more. This will be my last and I've left them reviews same as this one.

I ordered multiple items from 2 different companies. Both places shipped within a few a days. All my items have arrived except for the 4 items (2 of the same items from each company) that were shipped through PB. The one order has been sitting in NJ since Dec 6th. The order had been sitting in IN since Dec 12th. No way to contact them and talk to an actual person. The only thing I'm grateful for is I have other gifts for the kids as the packages I'm waiting for are for my daughter and nephews.

This company should be investigated and shut down. Much like the other stories here, my packages have been in limbo. I've made purchases with Adidas before, when they used FedEx and never had issues. Since this change 3 of 3 orders sit within Pitney Bowes and no one can give any answers. Today on my 4th call to Adidas about this I was informed that if it doesn't move for 10 days they will refund. The problem is pitney bowes seems to move the packages (or claims to anyway) between facilities to keep moving the refund period. I plan to file a chargeback for each of my orders that do not arrive by Christmas. In addition I'm planning to file complaints with the BBB for both Pitney Bowes and Adidas. Maybe if some of these retailers start getting dinged for their crap choice of shipping partners they will do something to resolve this.

So, I have ordered embarrassingly enough tons of merchandise from Adidas this year. I have received orders that shipped one day and was delivered the next; but everything in the past was Fedex (wonderful), USPS (can take or leave with their game playing) and UPS (not much better than USPS) and have never experienced nearly the drama of this one particular order that has Pitney Bowes in the mix.
I'm very disappointed and needless to say will make sure that if I have anything to do with who's delivering my packages, Pitney Bowes will not be an option I will choose, I don't care if it's free delivery versus spending a grip. Pathetic, Adidas needs to be involved with this matter simply because their reputation with me is on the line. Although Adidas claims that due to the various locations packages are being sent out from, they don't have a say in who the carrier will be (**)...They need to make it a priority to start having a say in the matter. Adidas like many other big named sports companies have a much bigger influence than they want people to believe. I have spent way too much for them to feed me that bologna.

I'm in Texas...same state!! Mail from Grapevine to my home only takes one day. Notice they waited 14 days before they even moved the package from Los Angeles to Grapevine Texas. Then when it's close by to me the lazy bums are too lazy to simply hand it off to USPS and so it just sits in their warehouse for another 19 days. It's outrageous! This is no isolated incident this happens with every single package "shipped" by Pitney Bowes. I got other packages where the tracking shows the same modus operandi and pattern. Christmas time? Not to Pitney Bowes it ain't. They could care less it's the Christmas season where you logically work harder to move packages faster if you've got any decency about you at all. Pitney Bowes is pure evil folks. Stay far away.

I have two packages that their grapevine facility has been holding on to for almost a month! Just read the reviews online about this facility and now I see why. The truck drivers that drop off at this location say that it take them DAYS to get their truck loaded by this company. Their warehouse is small so packages just sit in trucks forever or end up lost. Trying to contact them is pointless. They need to be looked into!

It was delivered to their facility in Greenwood, IN on Nov 12. It departed Greenwood, IN on Nov 13 and delivered to their facility in Normal, Illinois on Nov 18, 2020. From there, all tracking has stopped and the USPS has never received it. (30 days now!)
I cannot TALK to anyone at PB about this. The number they tell you to call (and wait for the message to play twice & someone will assist you) does not answer. I have called numerous times and have been on hold for over an hour each time! On live chats, they do not help and hang up on me - happened twice! They absolutely need to be shut down! Be sure when ordering anything to find out if PB is involved with the shipping and do not order if they are! You likely will not get your merchandise and they will not give you any support. I could not even imagine working for a company that could and would continue to operate this way.

I know this is a broken record at this point, but here it goes: I ordered 4 items from Bed Bath & Beyond for Black Friday. I ordered them on 11/27/2020. 3 of my 4 items were shipped by UPS/FedEx, those items showed up within 5 days of submitting my order. The 4th item, which was the first one to be marked shipped out of all 4 items, was shipped through Pitney Bowes.
I have tracked my package the last 2 weeks, and it has not moved. It was marked as "arrived shipping partner facility, USPS awaiting item" as of 12/05/2020. Since that update, it has been silence ever since. I have ordered 1000's of items online over the last 15 years, and have never once seen anything shipped by Pitney Bowes. I have had China Post items get to the US on the boat, scanned through customs, and delivered by USPS faster than this package has moved through 2 states.
I have no idea what is going on at Pitney Bowes, but I sure hope they are investigated. Covid is not an excuse anymore, all other shipping companies are operating at most 2-3 days behind schedule, even during the biggest online Christmas shopping time in history. Being almost a month behind schedule for the package to have only traveled 200 miles is a complete joke. They need a serious overhaul, because the incompetency is more than a liability at this point. End rant.

Like others, I ordered gifts from Kohl’s. My order was placed on Black Friday. Half of my order was sent with another shipping company and arrived within 5 days. The other half of my order was shipped through PB on Dec. 2 and has moved once in 16 days. It’s currently sitting in Atlanta, where it’s been for 10 days. PB tracking is no longer showing an estimated delivery date (the original one has long passed). I’m concerned that my gifts will not make it in time for Christmas, despite having ordered nearly a month in advance from a store where I’ve reliably received my orders in a timely fashion in the past. From other reviewers, I’ve heard that Kohl’s might refund my order, so I will try that now and just buy new gifts. I hope retailers will stop shipping through PB after this. I know it’s a crazy season in an already crazy year, but this level of incompetency is just absurd.

However, what they don’t know is that I’m not only a consumer, I own a retail business myself who not only will never use them, I’m also spreading the word to all customers and retailers that I do business with!! I would suggest that all of you file claims with your Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau along with boycotting them and reporting them to news outlets! They are deleting comments on Facebook and blocking people that leave negative reviews...thinking that they’re getting away with everything. When they do respond, they use the same copy & paste responses to everyone. I’m also willing to start a class action lawsuit! We have created the group “Boycott Pitney Bowes” on Facebook! One of my packages from Old Navy went missing, the only one that was sent through Pitney Bowes which was supposed to give the package to USPS to deliver. The package has only been moved a handful of times every few days over the last 2 weeks and is still halfway across the country. When you call the company you get an automated service that tells you that associates cannot help you find more information and to call the company from which you ordered. I called back Old Navy and was informed after a big sigh from the employee that they have been inundated the last few weeks from packages not being derived from this company. They refunded my order and then are sending me a new one of similar items (what I ordered 2 weeks ago is out of stock) with express shipping that will hopefully get to me before the holiday. This company is not prepared for the holidays and clearly lacks in tracking skills as well as communication.

After my personal experience and reading similar reviews from hundreds of other people online, I've concluded the only explanation is Pitney Bowes is allowing employees to keep retail merchandise when it arrives at their locations for shipping. Just like everyone else, my order (from Kohl's) has been confirmed, through tracking, to be sitting since December 3 at a PB location 7 miles from my house. No updates have been made to tracking information since then, meaning no attempt has been made to transfer my order to USPS for delivery. Kohl's is happy to assume the goods have been lost and will issue a refund.
I suggest Pitney Bowes employees know this and are taking advantage of the situation by keeping merchandise for themselves. If this is the case, Pitney Bowes is culpable and should be investigated by law enforcement, if not federal authorities. I've started the hashtag #MerryChristmasPitneyBowes on Twitter. I think you should use it, too. I also recommend when ordering from a retailer online, check if they use Pitney Bowes for the fulfillment. If they do, cancel the order and do business with a company that actually wants you to receive your goods.

This company is HORRIBLE. Bark Box has used them now 2 times for my packages and both times they take over a month to get to me. They get my package and just let it sit there with no updates or movement to the destination. I have emailed Bark Box over and over and just get excuse after excuse. This company needs to be shut down. Pitney Bowes should be ashamed to even be open and take business from companies and ship anything. If you see that your package is stuck with them all I can say is good luck. Hope you get it someday. Please if you dislike the way they handle your shipment post a review and lets all get together and have the BBB shut them down.

UPDATED 12/29/2020: Like so many people on here, I am waiting on a package from Adidas. I ordered mine on 11/25. It shipped out on 11/27. It wasn't scanned into the PB network until 12/7, and it has not been scanned again since 12/9. I have tried to get Adidas to do something (refund, re-send, anything) four times now. They shift all of the blame to COVID and Pitney Bowes, but Pitney Bowes says to refer back to Adidas. It went from being promised in 4-7 days, to 7-11, to it just being here "by Christmas," to now they just have no idea when it will show up. Like others stated, they told me Pitney Bowes had to relabel all of the packages they had in their possession causing more delays. What is it going to take for companies to stop using Pitney Bowes? I'm astonished by the way Adidas is handling this by not handling it at all.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am experiencing the exact same thing so many others are. I have a package from Adidas and one from Bath & Body Works that were shipped between 11/25-11/29, and neither have arrived. One was scanned in as arriving at one of their hubs on 12/9 and hasn't moved since, and the other was last scanned into one of their hubs on 12/4 with no further movement. Bath and Body Works asked me to give it until tomorrow before refunding my order, but I'm not getting any help from Adidas. Pitney Bowes just refers you back to the company you bought from (the shipper) stating they can not help or answer questions. It looks like major foul play. These companies need to hear all of our issues so they will reevaluate doing business with PB.

Like many other reviewers, I ordered a package from a company using Pitney Bowes for shipping over a month ago (11/20). The company gave the package to Pitney Bowes immediately, and ever since then, the package has been bouncing around from facility to facility for a month. It has crossed through the same NJ facility three times. It was even claimed to be dropped off with USPS on 12/1 in my hometown, but they had no record of this, and on 12/3, it appeared back in the Pitney Bowes NJ facility where it has been sitting for two weeks. At this point, I'm wondering if they're stealing packages or just incompetent. Any company looking to use this shipping service should seriously reconsider, and I will avoid buying from any company that decides to use Pitney Bowes in the future.

We have now had numerous packages mailed to us by Publisher's Clearing House that they USED to use FEDEX, and since COVID have now used Pitney Bowes. We have had also NUMEROUS packages go "lost in space" - they have a PB "warehouse" right across the river from where we live, and for some reason after sitting there for who knows how long, instead of transferring package to USPS to deliver to us- shipped package off to their Tennessee warehouse??? Then back to here? Currently are missing a package mailed out on 11/16 and has supposedly been sitting in our local warehouse for 28 days now????
SUPPOSED to have gone to our local USPS for delivery. Had 2 items in it - THEN contacted PCH to re-ship, now those items have been shipped in 2 separate packages BY PB only to be lost in space again??? That is not to mention currently have 5 other packages completely unaccounted for for several days, and some for several weeks.
I will NEVER order items from PCH again, until they go back to a more reliable shipper. Makes you wonder where all of the missing packages ARE ending up? Or WHO they are ending up with? CANNOT contact PB to inquire about missing packages as they do not offer customer service to their public. Managed to reach a live PB employee, and he instructed me to contact the shipper. SO tired of the Covid reason/excuse with EVERY company out there. There has been PLENTY of time to act/react to needs of customers by this point. Ridiculous. I checked the tracking info on my package and seen it’s been with Pitney Bowes since 12/01/2020. They updated on their website they transferred it to USPS but the location says 0000 which means it wasn’t never really transferred anywhere. It’s still sitting at Pitney Bowes.
It’s weird that a company would lie about where a package is, and the first thing that comes to my mind is dishonesty and lack of integrity. The post office picks up and drop off mail on a daily basis so how hard could it be to hand a package off when receiving mail? I ordered from Old Navy on 12/01/2020 and they shipped that package through UPS who transferred the package to USPS and it’s been delivered. It’s definitely Pitney Bowes and anyone who uses them for cheaper shipping will never earn my business again. I’m waiting until 9pm tonight and cancelling the order and will let Old Navy deal with their crappy shipping partner.

Guess I am just like the hundreds of others having major issues with this company! My package arrived in no time on 26 November to the Pitney Bowes Atlanta Facility. As of 10 December, USPS is still waiting for it. If you call Pitney Bowes, the recording tells you they cannot track your package. Well that sucks since I have tracking number. What kind of circus are they running. I have a hard trying to understand how my package can make it all the way from China, then through customs in a few days only to be sitting in a warehouse of some rinky dink company that can't seem to figure out how to properly move packages. Unbelievable. The seller I purchased from just references the tracking that it is in Atalanta. Great. Guess I will have to fight to get a refund since the company can't seem to use a reputable shipping company.

I have waited long enough before writing this review. I ordered from Kohl's on 11/27. My orders from Kohl's normally take a little longer to be shipped so I expected a little bit of a longer wait time. My package arrived in NJ on 11/30 and has not moved since. It was unloaded and that's the last update. I have contacted Kohl's twice with the latest instructions to wait until 12/16 and call again if the package hasn't arrived. I'm furious because part of the order is for a birthday gift I needed for the 12th. All the other major and minor shipping companies my packages have been delivered by this year have not had any major problems or delays due to holidays and COVID. This company needs to get its stuff together. As a professional in a work environment that requires deadlines to be met, this company has dropped the ball.

My package has been in Atlanta since 12/5. This is less than 15 miles from my home. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with Pitney Bowes (who says they can not help me, they don't know which of their facilities the package is at and if they did they couldn't let me pick it up without the post office's approval and they show my package will be delivered after 12/13). I spoke to the post office and they say it is out of their control, it is Pitney Bowes that has to get them the package. And I called Shutterfly who says they can't do anything but reship. These are custom 2020 Christmas cards.
I am leaving the state on 12/11 and not returning until after Christmas. What good will they do me after Christmas? All Pitney Bowes has had to do since 9:52 am on 12/5 is give the package to the post office. Seems really hard, right? Do not buy anything from a vendor if they are going to ship using Pitney Bowes. You most likely will not get your package, and if you do, it will not be timely and you can't get them to take any responsibility.

My experience is nearly identical to everyone else's. I bought an item on Amazon through a third party seller. This seller shipped the item on November 19th. When I say shipped, I mean they only made the package slip. The item finally arrived with Pitney Bowes on November 27th. I’m in Minneapolis, the package was with Pitney near Chicago. More precisely, Carol Stream, Illinois. I thought great this won’t take long. WRONG. Oh. So. Wrong. The package went the opposite direction to Greenwood, Indiana. Got to Greenwood on November 28th. As of today, December 9th, it’s still there. The package was originally scheduled to be delivered by December 3rd. Based on the other reviews, I wouldn’t be surprised if my package was shipped even further away. That is, if it’s not actually lost. It’s hard to not think it is lost.
I contacted USPS, since they’re the big shipping carrier facilitated with Pitney Bowes. USPS said they have not been handed the package yet by Pitney, and that the location it is currently at in Greenwood is a Pitney warehouse facility. I have contacted Pitney. Their website is a mess, not at all user friendly. It was hard to find any kind of email, complaint form, or complaint phone number. Finally I found a live chat option with a different department at Pitney. I was hoping they could point me in the right direction. The agent I spoke to, Pamela, immediately ended our conversation not once but twice, each time right after I said I was looking for help with a lost package. I kept having to restart the conversation. Finally on the third attempt, I called out the same agent for providing an incredibly unprofessional experience, let alone a complete lack of care in customer service.
After that, they finally stayed in the chat, listened to what I had to say, and sent me a link to a general complaint form and a phone number to complain. After calling the phone number, it was a constant circle of them saying that due to covid many packages are delayed. There was no apology, no new time frame for delivery. Yes, covid is causing many companies to have delayed shipping. But not anywhere near to the extent that Pitney has been delaying shipments. It does not take more than a week, once the carrier receives a package, for a tiny package like the one I’m expecting to ship from Chicago to Minneapolis. They’re using covid to cover up their poor management.
All in all, this entire company is straight up awful. They provide awful shipping and awful customer service (or complete lack of). I’ve never dealt with any company that literally tried to avoid helping me and never apologized once. I have no idea how they are still around with the way they function. Overall, avoid them at all costs. Sadly, I think most people won’t even know about this company and its reputation until it’s too late.

Ok I have 2 orders that this company is actually supposed to be delivering. One from Kohl's and one from Adidas. Both of them were ordered back in mid November. They now are both saying they are in Atlanta, Georgia now. The one has said since the order was placed that it was shipped but the tracking says that only the label was created.
I complained to adidas because it’s been so long since the order was placed and it’s still sitting there. So they said they would look into it. Next thing I know it says accepted into facility in (which is where it has been saying it is the whole time) Georgia facility but is still just sitting there not moving. So the second time I contacted them adidas told me to wait until the 10th and if I haven’t gotten it to contact them back because it says it’s already shipped on their end and it supposedly says it will be delivered by the 10th. This company says they don’t have it and the USPS says they don’t have it and Adidas says it left their facility. So basically it’s floating around out there nowhere according to everyone.
My order from kohl’s is saying that it shipped but it’s still saying on my tracking information that it’s sitting in Georgia and has been since the day after I ordered it. They are telling me the same thing also that they haven’t gotten it and so is the usps. How with 2 different orders from 2 different companies do they just not ever receive the packages to ship them? It’s funny because all of the rest of my order has already gotten to me. For some reason they were sent only usps and not through this company and I got them within 3 days after ordering them. So this is ridiculous. It seems as though they have something going on that they are doing this to many people.
I just want my packages because they are Christmas presents. I let it go for a while because of Christmas also because I do understand shipping gets a little crazy around this time of year, but this is way too much going wrong. So obviously something is really wrong and the BBB needs to shut them down because so many people have reported the same exact thing. Hopefully there isn’t some sort of scam going on. No one needs to use this company to ship their items. It’s going to cost them more in the end because they will have to reship the orders because people aren’t getting them. It’s ridiculous.

It's because of COVID & the holidays. Nope. Nobody else is doing this. Any other shipping company can deliver 10 times in the time it takes them to not deliver at all. They picked up my package in Florida on 10-28 and sent it to Atlanta. There it sat. It made it to New Jersey 11-6. And sat there until 11-7. (Why? It's going to Virginia) On 11-7 it arrived in Maryland. On 11-19, they said it was departing Maryland. It's still departing Maryland as of 12-3. I got a form letter excuse from them that addressed nothing.
I was told to contact the seller. I did and they re-shipped what they could as they had sold out of some of what this company is unable to deliver. I was told they were going to use a shipping company this time...nope! They used this company again. On 11-21, the second package went to Atlanta. It's still there as of 12-3. Why can't this company deliver anything? Not only are is customer support incompetent, but this company is one of the most awful I have ever tried to work with. It amazes me that Pitney Bowes can remain in business. Over many years as an office manager having to deal with these people, I have encountered countless problems ranging from sneaky lease terms (without disclosure except fine print, charging us tax on this leased metering equipment), constant billing problems (mail bills late every month, so if you don't pay with a credit card or auto pay, but through company's AP, they will charge a late fee every month of $40), and we've also had consistent unreliability with bulk mail pick-ups.
Calling for help only leads to more frustration, as they appear to have no quality control. Customer has no way to troubleshoot. I would like to give them negative stars in this review, but platform insists that I give them at least one. 4. When Covid-19 arrived, we had to close our office and lay off most staff. The rest of us are working from home. PB's leasing department won't budge on the terms of the lease or let us return the equipment.

They cashed our lease termination check about a month and a half ago (after saying they did not receive it) and we have been asking for their "required" return labels and box to mail this behemoth postage machine back the entire time. They assured me the labels were on their way. They created a "ticket" for this and then marked it closed. Have you seen the labels, because we certainly have not. Be very wary of entering into an agreement with this company. It turns out to be almost impossible to get out of - even when you pay it all off! I wish there was a rating lower than one star.

I wanted to write this review so people who are stuck with a package coming through Pitney Bowes know that there is some hope and you might still get your package and about how long it really takes. Mine did eventually show up. I got the occasional update from them for about half a month before they had it leaving Indiana July 14th and there were no updates after that until August 15th when USPS finally got it for final delivery. I ordered it at the end of June so it was about a month and a half for me to get my package. I've also seen reviews where it goes 2 months without an update before they get it (for those that do eventually get it).
The tracking on their website was also unusable as half the time I checked there, it said there was no package, but when I went back and entered it in again (copy pasted, so no mistyping on my end) or just refreshed the page it would have it (though usually with only some of the tracking updates). Luckily USPS got whatever updates they gave so I could just check it through USPS. They disabled customer service on their website, telling you to contact the sellers instead. I don't know if the sellers are then able to contact PB to forward these complaints or if they just have to refund you at a certain point because of PB's lack of updates or communication.
Apparently, PB wasn't this bad (just mid level not good) about a year ago, but since COVID, they seem to be purposefully delaying all non-essential packages by about 1+ month(s). It would almost be fine if they clearly communicated this, but there's nowhere on the site that tells you how long they delay non-essential packages or what they consider non-essential. If you check now (even checking where they post specifically about their COVID related changes) they don't give you a clear estimate on shipping times.
If you have any kind of choice, stay away, and if you have a seller that was planning to use PB for their shipping, send them here to see what they're getting into. So yeah, 1+ month delivery, long periods of your package sitting somewhere with little to no update, no way to contact customer service, = 1 star until they set give the option for 0 stars.

Packages paid for on the 1st that would arrive on the 6th of the month now arrive more than a whole month late.
For example, my July box was paid for on the 1st, didn't go anywhere until around the 14, sat in NJ for 6 days with no updates, sat in GA for 10 with no updates, and now the estimated delivery date is August 5, for a bag I should have received July 6. Very frustrating knowing makeup and skincare is baking in a box somewhere for more than a month in summer heat. Ipsy needs to make moves.
*Keep in mind that while yes, we are in a pandemic with heavier shipping volumes, other companies are shipping things in a timely manner. Amazon delivers items in less than two days still, QVC sent my order in 4 days, and Smile Direct Club sent impressions in 2 days from at least 4 states away, to name a few companies I recently ordered from, so I find it hard to accept that the pandemic is at fault for Pitney Bowes' lack of coordination/timely shipping practices.

So I have been ordering with a company called Ipsy for years and shipping has always been top notch. Well unfortunately for me they seem to have switched to Pitney Bowes for some strange reason. (Why? Why???) My box has not moved and we are at 30 days... To make matters worse I also ordered more items from Ipsy and they are being “shipped” with this company as well not to mention I just got charged again for a monthly box when I have yet to receive anything from last month. I will be reporting this company as I feel like they are scamming us all. I will also have to stop doing business with Ipsy for as long as they use these ppl. I will update my review if I ever see any of my items. Please beware! If you are buying anything online please find out who is shipping it and if it’s these guys just find a diff site!

Now there’s no information on my package any time I check the status. I have NEVER been more dissatisfied with a company. It makes no sense to keep taking on packages if you aren’t doing to so your job and actually get them delivered. My package was coming from Ipsy. It was shipped on the 7th of July. I still have not received it. It has been in my state for weeks. It hasn't moved. I'm not sure I will receive it at all. Everyone whose package was shipped with them is having the Dr issue. I could've picked up my package myself by now. All they have to do is hand it to USPS yet they hold it or it is stolen. Other people I know getting packages same way are receiving packages with most of the contents gone. Horrible company.

The company I ordered with gave no indication it was located overseas, and even after I realized this (when I contacted them after a few weeks) they claimed I would get my items in 11-21 business days. According to the tracking number given to me, my package cleared customs and was in Pitney Bowes' possession since June 12. A month and a half later and it still shows as being with them (not handed over to USPS). I could WALK from the place it supposedly arrived (ca) to here and back by now. The tracking info literally only updates when I email the company (6 emails, 6 updated locations lol). It sits for weeks with no further information when I don't first contact the company. The company itself keeps telling me to 'be patient'.. I think I'm at 75 days now.. I've never been so patient in my life lol. I cannot wrap my mind around why it would take over a month to get a package from one part of California to another only to pick it up and take it to another part of California. It is currently awaiting arrival in Bloomington California which is where it supposed to be transferred to USPS. Since it’s already in Bloomington I guess it will take another 4 weeks to get down the block. Package ordered from Retromini in April 2020, ordering from outside of US is expected to be a bit slow considering current Covid-19 restrictions, but I know what is normal. Everything was fine until package arrived in US and was in the "custody" of the company's "shipping partner" (aka Pitney Bowes),... Then the shell game began. First Retromini claimed that the package was in "customs" when the provided tracking number showed it obviously wasn't.
After calling them on it, they claimed it was "on its way", at which point it was supposedly sent from Jamacia NY to Albuquerque NM (I live in NM), but it wasn't, it was now magically in Bloomington, CA. Now, three months later, still no package, it hasn't been released to USPS, or even reliable information that the package is ANYWHERE,... I realized that Pitney Bowes tracking information is apparently completely fictional, and created on shippers' demand for excuses to "run out the clock" on making a claim. Luckily I filed a complaint early in the shenanigans with PayPal.

One station it moved to is within 15 minutes of my house. Yet, 2 days later it was returned to the original Atlanta station. In all, it spent 43 days traveling across the US, with 14 days in metro Atlanta. I cannot come up with a logical explanation for this. As of June 4th - Pitney Bowes has provided no updates - it's like my package has disappeared into thin air for almost 3 weeks now. For this whole process - Pitney Bowes has been in possession of my package for 5 + weeks (going on 6 weeks now).
Their blanket statement is to contact the Retailer or Seller for updates. The Retailer/Seller has the exact same updates as our tracking numbers we receive as buyers! Once the item is in possession of Pitney Bowes - the Sellers are held hostage as much as the Buyer! It was surprisingly fast from China (3 days) to USA. Pitney Bowes should be absolutely embarrassed that their promise to "remove the complexity of selling cross border" is even a part of their company vision. Pitney Bowes is currently a bottleneck to the whole process of shipping to customers.
Yes, there are riots, yes there is Covid. But you would think they would have a backup plan to transport packages across the USA. When I ship with USPS - they don't have this problem!! Why was the package not handed over to USPS immediately after landing? I've never really had any issues like this with USPS or any other Carrier for that matter. But as it stands -- there is nothing I can do about Pitney Bowes.... Only hope it arrives.

USPS tracking says they are awaiting receipt of the item from Pitney Bowes, but they simply have not done so. I have been shopping online with H&M for YEARS and this is literally the first time I’ve ever seen them use Pitney Bowes as a partner facility instead of USPS direct (No shade to H&M at all). I understand delays due to COVID, but unless they are completely shut down, I do not see why my stuff has been sitting there for going on 2 weeks, which is unacceptable at this point.
Customer Service is of no help either, keep saying refer to merchant when it is NOT the merchant’s fault they have not connected with USPS yet. Horrible choice of a third party shipper for H&M. This is where Pitney Bowes dropped the ball! Cleared customs on 5/11. This was picked up on 5/25, (14 days after Pitney bowes "picked up as local courier".) Add insult to injury after a 14 hold for no reason delay, they inducted into network on 6/10 showing item is now in Bloomington, Indiana (another 16 days!).
Item in Bloomington from 6/10 to 6/13 (3 days in Bloomington, IN.) On 6/15 it finally arrives my state, Texas. It's officially 4 hours away in Grapevine, TX. On 6/17/20 it finally departs Grapevine, TX (Dallas area) and today it is 6/19 and items has not been updated since 6/17 showing departing Grapevine, TX. That was 2 days ago and I am 4 hours away on a major mail hubs in Texas. It should already be updated as handed to my local USPS, but no..... and STILL has not been turned over to USPS.
So let's count the present time frame, shall we? It took 5 days to come to the US from the other side of the world. Pitney Bowes has had this in their possession, unsurrendered to the USPS for a total of 39 days! 39 days this has been solely with Pitney Bowes. And as of today, I'm still waiting for acceptance at USPS. By Friday this will be 42 days! Given there has been no update since it departed, I am not banking on getting this until next week. Pitney bowes really finds this ACCEPTABLE? This is ridiculous and I can't believe that my complaint mirrors that of so many others.
I also received meds from my dog (ordered 4/24/20) on 5/19 from Australia and another ring I bought the same time as this one on 5/4....which was shipped 10 days AFTER this one on 5/14 and received it on 6/15 at the one month mark...but this one that was shipped 10 days earlier is still not even with the USPS. Then, on June 16, 2020, the package arrived at the Pitney Bowes' shipping facility, in Bloomington, CA, still with USPS awaiting the package. These cities are 63 miles from each other. I don't know why it's taken more than 1 month to head from the shipping partner to its own facility. And I have no idea when USPS will receive the item.

Updated on 07/21/2020: Again, I have no clue what Pitney Bowes position is in shipping except for putting out bogus status updates that give no clue as to where a package is really located. According to their tracking page, My package was INDUCTED in their system on June 26 in California; destination Kentucky. As of July 21 package is in Indiana. I hate that my vendor is using this bottom level logistics company. This is the 2nd package that is taking about a month to travel in the US. If possible, avoid using them shipping or whatever it is they are doing. If you call them their classic response is to contact the vendor you purchased from. If I purchase from anyone and need to know updates on shipping, I would contact the shipping vendor. Which is why I'm unsure as to what their purpose is. Avoid at all costs.
Original Review: The absolute worst experience since I've been selling on eBay. Recently, and within the last month, my vendor used them to ship to a few of my customers. I had never heard of them as a shipping vendor until then. Package left Louisville, KY on May 30th and went to Pitney Bowes facility in CO. No updates since June 1st. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Who ask customers to leave messages as if it is a home answering machine? It's 10 days out from being a month. I also had to search diligently online to find the actual tracking page for tracking numbers. I called the bogus phone number and it was answered quickly but only to tell me he couldn't help me and gave me the other number. I should have known better but to save myself the trouble.
I think I will just refund my customer and call it a loss. Perhaps I won't lose a customer altogether for this terrible shipping experience. Even with Covid19 going on there is no way a package in the US going from Kentucky to California should take this long. I've had shipments to France and the Netherlands that were received in less than 2 weeks. Absolutely anyone can start a business and have no regard for customer service. I wish there was more I could do besides leave this review!

I got a shipping confirmation and then every day the estimated arrival date changes. Sometimes when you enter the tracking number (manually, like 50 numbers) they say not available. It was supposed to be delivered after 1 week (with some delays due to Covid) BUT no other company (even from other countries) has done this. It’s ridiculous. I’ve contacted the company I ordered from multiple times and they say they don’t have a say in it anymore since it’s Pitney Bowes shipping. If I had known, I wouldn’t have ordered from them. Period. Knowing they ship through this POS company. I’m not the only one that’s fed up with them apparently. I am in Michigan, and hoping that it manages to make it into the state this month, but I am not holding my breath. If a seller even HINTS at shipping through Pitney, I will find somewhere else to buy. COMPLETELY unacceptable that a package has taken longer IN the US, then it took to get to the US from China. Terrible company to do business with. Over the years, I probably paid more in fees than postage used. It took me 10+ phone calls, numerous transfers between departments to cancel the service. My cancellation was on hold for 2 months and PB won't refund any part of the quarterly fees because the service was cancelled in the middle of the quarter. I used to rent an equipment before 2000. Over the years, I was forced to upgrade the machine and replace printable stamp sheets couple of times. I lost money each time they make an upgrade. Eventually they put me on SendPro and charged me quarterly fee for multicarrier service even I only need simple postage service. Instead of $5/mo, I paid $50+/quarter.
Separate accounts were set up over the years by PB. One for shipping use, one for quarterly subscription of service (they call mine "rental" even I no longer use any PB machine), and a "purchase power" account to refill postage for shipping account. Later I found out, each of the three accounts need to be closed individually with separate phone calls. It's like dealing with three different companies. I didn't get my unused postage refunded as they promised two months ago and got charged again recently for next quarter. Since I have autopay set up, the quarterly fee was already paid. I wasted hours on the phone to end any relationship with PB. As of today, I haven't received ANY refund for the postage or quarterly service. In this case, I may need to dispute the charge through credit card company.

Not all of the postage is discounted - only first class letters, and that discount doesn't offset the equipment cost. We've used Pitney Bowes for probably 10 years. In the last few years their service has been deplorable. Our meter doesn't work, hasn't worked in months, and any attempt to get help means hours on the phone, repeat phone calls and no resolution. I noticed a sharp drop in customer service a few years ago. Any problem at all and you will end up talking to 3 or 4 people, spend hours, day after day, and still have no working meter. We finally told them we will cancel our account since the meter is not working and they can't get it to work. The 40 month contract was up by my calculations, but no, their calculations added almost a full year. How could this be? Well they solicit a new contract way before it's necessary, and then add previous months to the new contract. They tried to get me to sign a new contract this year (as I called to get the meter to work) when in reality they are holding me to January of 2020 contract.
We've been buying postage at USPS for the last 4 months because the meter can no longer connect to our computer to add postage. Again, I called to cancel the account and told them we will not be paying leasing fees for equipment that doesn't work. Their solution is to ignore me, send me a bill for a late fee, until I called 2 months later. Their "client relations" person sounded almost like we would really get some kind of resolution. But, all I got was a letter thanking me for "inquiring about settlement of your obligation on your Leased Equipment" with a giant "settlement fee". Under what business model does one pay for anything that does not work?

3. They automatically send you a Charge CARD and take money from your account for Maintenance fees for the charge card that you DIDN'T EVEN WANT. It took me 53 minutes to cancel the card.
4. I spent 48 minutes on hold one time and hung up before I even RESOLVED my issue.
5. They create "job TICKETS" when you have an issue and these tickets are a NIGHTMARE. You keep getting transferred and put on hold. FORGET about the online service. YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PHONE CALL.
6. When I stopped using my postage meter I was charged a fee for NON-USE! WHAT?!
7. If you don't return your meter they will charge you $1,000.
I am NOT MAKING any of this UP! This is all true. Please do not use this company. They promise this and that for free but BOY do they get you on the back side. I think when all was said and done a typical 50 cent stamp probably cost me $2.87. WHAT the HECK!??? Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

We have 4 locations, 4 leases, 4 quarterly invoices. 2 or 3 of the invoices continue to come in with 'ValueMax Charges' which is their additional fee for insurance. The website's feature to create a ticket does not work, forcing a phone call. Each time, for each account, I get transferred within the customer support department 4-5 times before someone will help create a case, each one saying they need to get me over to client services before transferring the call. Each time, I provide a copy of our company's insurance policy which waives ValueMax charges. I request and am told that ValueMax will no longer apply to our accounts, and every time it comes back.
I waste on average 4 hours a month dealing with billing issues and a lot of that time is due to their horrible customer service and response times. I have honestly never hated a company more. Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY from Pitney Bowes! You can do the same on stamps.com for a FRACTION of the price! We're working on terminating our leases at a cost in excess of $10,000 but worth every penny to get away from this horrible company.

Someone needs to look into this company. We ordered a service of $25 a month. We were not told anything about a $400 line of credit. We were told if we pay $400 now we get a $200 credit. I agreed to that and thought they took the money from my credit card but they never did. I called three times. They never explained how I could pay this. I finally got the credit of $200 but they kept the line of credit of the remaining $200 without telling me. Then they added interest on it even though I had paid their monthly bill. I ended up owing $371 which meant I had $171 worth of interest applied to my account for a credit line of $200 in a less than 2 month period.
Who charges that kind of interest? This is thievery. I am sure they will take this down. I am putting reviews up everywhere. I now had to pay that $371 off so I would not continue to get charged but I am sure as I use MY $400 credit, I will still get charged because that is who they are. If we are charged again we will take the loss and get rid of their machine. These are fraudulent business practices. Buyer beware. 86 years in business and they have these kinds of practices.

Don't believe a word that they tell you! Customer service is ridiculous! We returned a machine a few years ago, and they are still charging our account. I opened up our online account and there was 1 invoice for about 2700.00 for charges linked to this machine which they acknowledged to have in their possession. We used to have bank accounts set up for lease auto pay, but had to delete them after someone starting paying these invoices that we don't owe through the account we linked to another machine for auto pay. Over $300 in unauthorized charges were paid by one of their people. I would like to file theft charges against the person/persons who actually did it. Make sure you check your invoice! They have been charging ValueMax to us on one account even though I have sent them our liability insurance.
"Once insurance information is provided, the lessee is removed from ValueMAX program on a go-forward basis. Previously paid ValueMAX fees will not be credited. Any unpaid ValueMAX balance will automatically be removed from the total once insurance information is entered (after billing cycle cut off)." This is still being added to one of our accounts! Ridiculous! Check PB on Better Business Bureau. Use USPS instead!

Overpriced product and terrible customer service. Wanting to cancel after finding a competitor's offer of less than half the cost with better equipment, I called to see about early lease termination. While us as consumers might view them more akin to the cable company (no penalty for early cancellation) or our cell phone provider ($10 per contract month remaining termination fee) Pitney Bowes apparently sees themselves more like an auto manufacturer with their leases in so much as there is no reduced amount for canceling early.
Apparently we were auto-renewed two years ago and still have something like 43 months left on our lease; to cancel, we'd have to pay the full amount we'd pay if we continued to use the service. What precipitated my inquiry with a competitor in the first place is their ridiculous approach to customer. I keep getting billed for a late fee I've already paid and they outsource the representatives overseas using people with little command of the English language, so they're no help in trying to get it resolved. DO NOT USE. EVER.

I am angry that our account has been mishandled as badly as it has been by Pitney Bowes representatives. I was told yesterday by our sales rep that they never should have locked us into the product they leased us in 2017. That it was obsolete before we even signed the lease. He also said there was no way for us to upgrade until 2022, even if PB would ultimately make more money on the account.
Frankly, we are a small nonprofit organization. When we experienced catastrophic flooding back in August of 2018 I reached out and was told our billing would be placed on hold. It was not. We continued to be billed and received collection calls. Apparently, a mistake was made by PB and a company in Canada was placed on hold instead of us. No apology. No flexibility.
It took numerous calls and speaking with many people to get that amended. Bills were placed on hold and I asked to stay on hold until our nonprofit (which serves families facing cancer) reopened after the flood repairs. It was on hold for a short while then billing restarted without communications, collection calls and all. Frankly, I would love to have the flexibility to cancel out of our account and never do business with PB again. However, at this point my small nonprofit is stuck. We were lied to, misled, and mistreated. In the future I plan to not do business with PB and strongly recommend that others seek elsewhere for their postage meter products.

As the end of our lease approached I contacted them about terminating services. They advised me to do this online, which I did. They promptly closed my case without contacting me whatsoever. I started again via telephone in January (lease ended in March). I am still dealing with this in May. I have spent at least 8 hours on the phone with them in three months. They have continued to charge us and every time I call them I get a different story. Most recently they said we still have a balance. So I go to commit to buy, hit the buy button, and then bam, suddenly I'm hit with a screen that tells me that my order has effectively doubled in price. Well why the heck is that? I go to PayPal and I check, and I find out, oh Pitney Bowes was involved YET AGAIN. Every time that Pitney Bowes is involved with a transaction I will leave the seller a bad review. Hey I get it, you signed up for this crap fest of a service and you're going to use it, but I am not rich and the reason I buy from eBay is to look for the cheapest price I can get for an item.
When your price is doubled, that means not only did I not save any money, but that you have charged me MORE than if I had bought the item directly from the vendor (which is difficult as I don't have a credit card). Pitney Bowes is a crapfest of a company, they charge far too much for a far less comparable service to other providers. Their shipping is slow, their prices are extremely high, and they treat both their clients and their clients' customers awfully. If it takes a bad review to open your eyes, then so be it.

Despite the promises on same day/next day service, their response is to send us yet another new machine - which won't arrive from Indiana for 3 business days.

When our DM400 needed an update a couple months ago, they completed the update remotely. Unfortunately the motherboard that was in the machine did not support the update and we needed a new motherboard. When I called to have someone come fix it, I was told no one would be available for two days to come out. Yet, they tell you same day or next day service for machine. Right! So, someone came out two days later and fixed it. Well, in the meantime I called PB and asked them if we had an open contract. (I am still fairly new to my position and could not find anything in the files.) The lady on the phone said, no, we did not have a contract and we were just paying for the machine quarterly. Hmm... Weird? So I looked on our portal page for PB, and sure enough, it said, no, we were not under a current contract. Great! I'm going to call Neopost and switch us!
Neopost sent me a cancellation form they would send to PB. I then got a call from PB about two weeks later and the lady on the phone was YELLING at me about cancelling the contract and I needed to cancel with Neopost. What?! I asked to speak to her supervisor and got put on hold for more than TWO HOURS. The supervisor, who was actually very nice, explained that someone gave me misinformation previously, and I was still obligated to stay with PB, or at least pay them. That wasn't working for me. I wanted his supervisor. Spoke to her, and she not friendly in how she address my issues of their department's "misinformation" and telling me I needed to figure it out on my own. I hung up on her instead of listening to her even further.
Then I decided I was going to email the CEO/President of PB. He sent me a very friendly reply back and CCd another lady from his office who was very helpful and worked with me. Our contract was still open for nearly $8k, but we compromised for $2k, which we gladly paid to be done with them. And even after paying that amount, with Neopost we are still saving quite a bit of money. In the end, I would suggest not doing business with Pitney Bowes. They have awful support that is not in this country, their tech workers are subcontracted and pretty much make their own schedule, and in order to accomplish anything you need to contact their CEO. Why should I have to go above a call center jockey's head to a company CEO to report bad business? That doesn't make any sense.

If you want to terminate a lease they want full payment until the end of the lease - no discount even for years in the future. Shouldn't this be clearly disclosed? They also make it impossible to return a meter without their permission by hiding the return location. Try to find this online. (FYI the location I was given is Pitney Bowes Direct Returns; Dock Doors 34, 5490 Industrial Court, Suite #100, Whitestown, IN 46075-8808. Their procedure is to charge $54 to send you a return box!)
In my experience they put me in contact with finance people who continually miscalculated the remaining payments. Higher of course. When I tried to correct them they dug in and sent a preemptive threatening letter as though I was going to default. How nice. I ended up keeping my meter until 90 days before the end of the lease and asked to return it on the website. No response. After 30 days I went back and saw that it was being "researched." When I tried to click on the explanation the website said that this section was temporarily unavailable. It continued to stay Unavailable. All in all it's like dealing with a criminal enterprise. I have many pieces of their equipment that I own or lease from them. Every piece of equipment I have is either covered under my lease, or I have a maintenance agreement on to cover repairs and service on. Yet, they have over the years continually sent out repair invoices for repairs. Sometimes it takes me 6 months and 6 phone calls to resolve it.
Many times I'm resolving multiple invoices at one time. Just this month, they tried to run a repair bill through on my postage statement, something they have never done before as it is totally a different account from leases and equipment. Their philosophy seems to be wear the customer down and maybe they will pay it. Their fees and cost of supplies are going up every month. A cartridge for my posting machine was $189 a few years ago, this month they increased it $10 over last month's price, now at $312. We once got over 20,000 pieces through with one cartridge, we were only able to get 15,000 from the last one. I can tell you from experience, never, never believe one of their sales reps. There were times I did get them in the mail with a week to spare, and of course they received my payment ONE day after the due date. Another late fee.
Most recently I am not getting these email alerts to notify me when an invoice is ready on their website. I called about this, and the rep told me everything was fixed and ready to go. After still NOT receiving email alerts, I created a case. They responded by sending me instructions on how to set up email alerts. Either they have terribly unqualified people, or they just plain think their customers are not worth their time. So now I resort to checking the website each month to see if there's a bill ready.
