OMG where do I start. I did not sign any contract. PB called me. I was told that my postage meter was out of date and not up to the post office's standards. ** told me nothing. PB keeps saying the contract is in force. Their AI sucks. Here's the good part. The owner of our company retired and sold the company. The new owners told me to get rid of the machine as they have no use for a postage machine. Old company out of business. There are zero funds left to pay a fraudulent claim. I will not do it. There is no money, and I am not taking it out of my checking account! All I want to do is return the machine. Every case number I've gotten is closed out before I can respond. What the ** is this customer service?

PB sent me a copy of this contract I allegedly signed. I'm going to say Adam forged my signature. What I don't understand is they have the wrong FIN on the document. I know it by heart and it isn't even close! My advice to you is to NOT get a PB Postage Machine. They lie, they forge documents, they make up information, if you have a problem, they won't help you! I am going to "share" my pathetic experience with Pitney Bowes to whoever will read it on the internet. These are horrible AI bots! And that's all you get is a "bot". Heed my warnings! Very very bad people! Regretfully being suckered, Lynn

Started a subscription to use their services for my business. The website is so glitchy and makes you sign back in constantly. I tried to download the Device Hub app they offer that allows you to print stamps on envelopes, and the app does not work. It just tries to open and then crashes. So it was completely useless. Then trying to cancel your subscription is completely impossible. There's nowhere on the website that allows it to be canceled. The help articles tell you to take steps to cancel that are not actually possible. So I download the mobile app to see if that works better. You get to a spot where you can click "Cancel Subscription" but then it says you have to call customer service to cancel.

I called the number it said to call, I get menu options and then the call is just dropped. So I went to the virtual chat on the website. I get transferred twice, finally get someone who can help, and they say they can't find my account and that they can't cancel my account and I have to come back in 48 hours when my account shows up. Very frustrating experience for a software that has been completely useless to me.

We purchased a dental practice that already had a Pitney Bowes postage machine and lease contract. We signed a contract to continue the lease but have had nothing but issues. We have our account set on autopay but every month the payment is returned and the auto pay is unselected. Lack of funds is not the issue. Pitney Bowes takes the payment back. The auto payment has not been changed by us. When we call Pitney Bowes for resolution and have to leave a message they take 3 WEEKS to call back. No one can tell us what happened with the billing but they will charge a late fee. We have auto pay set up. There should not be a late fee! Payments will be made then Pitney Bowes will take the payment back. They send us the wrong ink refill sizes or parts that they told us to purchase. This company is a nightmare. And when you want to terminated the contract you have to pay $1400 to get out of this nightmare.

We returned our postage equipment in December 2024. The return process was terrible, and it took a month to get a tech onsite to remove the equipment. We were told we would get a refund when the equipment was received at the warehouse. We are still waiting. Took 3 tries to get through the automated answering service. Since it didn't like our account number, the autobot would disconnect the call. Called Customer Service, they kept pulling up a different account when I gave our account number.

Asked for a supervisor, and waited over 20 minutes. When I finally connected with the supervisor, it was a voicemail. This is the WORST customer service experience I have had in a very long time, and I will tell everyone that will listen that it is better to go to the Post Office and buy rolls of stamps than to use Pitney Bowes. The three reasons we closed our account is the pricing is higher than the competitors, the equipment is below the standard of the competitors, and the customer service.

Pitney Bowes has certainly gone downhill. The inability to reach an actual customer service representative or to at minimum have a chat with a live agent is absurd. Not all questions are able to be answered by the website. No matter which method I try to use for assistance I'm directed back to the website either via link, chat or email. All I wanted to do was add additional meter for the other locations within our company. The lack of services has me now researching other options. I'd stay away.

I was going to create an account and start using their services for shipping out of my small business however he has a very condescending smug attitude that I "shoulder already know about the products and services" when I asked a question. I hope this reaches you Joel because I heard a phone ring and your long sigh showing your frustration (due to me asking questions). I see over 450 one star reviews and I am hoping that people see this and do business elsewhere unless this type of customer service has been altered.

This service is so useless. It is very expensive for what it does and furthermore, when you actually need them to solve an issue, you cannot receive an actual response because at the chat option there is literally a robot which sends you to different pages to read what you need. Beside this, there is no way to end your contract unless you pay in advance for all the remaining period. I would never buy this service.

Today I wanted to start a small business account with Pitney Bowes. What a moronic decision. First, their website is clunky and not befitting a company of this size and scope. Second, I learned after "signing up" this large company with time-sensitive products offers no weekend support. That would have been a deal breaker had I known. Third, after signing up I received an automated e-mail reply absent my new customer number. Fourth, I learned that in order to sign into PB you have to have your customer number. This created an infinite loop of not being able to seek answers during onboarding, as they have no customer support and without your customer number their system automatically logs you out.

From the horrid UI to missing service options to bad automated replies and inability for new customers to use the product - Pitney Bowes gives a master class in wonky, hack-job nonsense. This company is not serious. It's too big for small business, and I have no intention of subjecting myself to another helping of this misery.

I have always understood a scam artist to be someone who is looking to get funds for products or services that would never be given. My experience said that this company had no plans on replacing or repairing the product that they had provided to the animal hospital I started working for three years ago. In fact I personally made multiple calls to the company, spending hours on hold each time to try and find a way to get that unit repaired or replaced. Meanwhile Pitney Bowes, the same company that would not repair or replace the unit kept demanding monthly payments. After several months I finally asked their team what it would cost to return the unit and be done. They quoted thousands of dollars to close out a contract from years ago for a product that had not worked for as long as anyone at the animal hospital could remember.

We paid the amount and were assured by the Pitney Bowes team that we were done and everything was paid. Yet somehow every few months after that I would get a call from the Pitney Bowes collections team asking for more funds. I would spends hours on the phone with their team to try and the find the error. I would pull up my communications and payment history to prove we were good and would be assured the everything was all set and we were in good standing, only to get the SAME phone call a few more months down the road.

At first I just thought what a terrible company that their internal communications were this bad. Three years later I have moved companies and the last couple of days I have been getting phone calls on my personal cell phone from Pitney Bowes request funds. I don’t have my former employers account number and they can’t give me the name of the place I worked they are just calling to collect, which feels like a new scam. This company is in a clear need a process and procedural makeover. My experience with the Pitney Bowes is now that they should be paying me for all the time they have to taken out of my life for years.

If I could rate them a 0 I would. Their customer services is terrible. Our company sent them in an ACH payment that they misapplied to another account. As soon as we received a late notice I called to report that we had already made that payment and provide all of the details. I received an email requesting proof from the bank that we made a successful payment. They left me a voicemail that I was unable to understand a majority of it due to the accent of the customer service rep. I called back and the person I spoke to said he was unable to assist me and would the other person call me back. Several days later no call has been received but we received another late notice. I called them back again and this person is telling me that I requested a refund and that they sent me a check in the mail. I asked her to confirm we are not going to receive a late fee due to their errors and she just keeps telling me to call back when we receive their check.

We ordered the service, received the postage meter within a couple of days, and then the headache began. You have to add postage to the meter but it has to be either by mailing a check, signing up for their credit account which can take 2-3 days, etc. It's been 2 weeks and guess what, we still can't use the postage meter because Pitney Bowes' customer chat is atrocious. I have opened multiple cases to have this addressed yet the chat agents are allowed to close the cases when the issues haven't been resolved. I opened a case over a week ago to send the meter back and I haven't heard a thing from Pitney Bowes. I have wired funds, provided a W9 for their credit account, etc and Pitney Bowes still can't figure out how to add the money to my postage meter.

Ultimately you can't get past the installation setup screen until they add postage to the meter but Pitney Bowes does not make it easy for you to add postage!! I am currently sitting on their CANCEL CHAT and I'm the only one in queue from what the automated message says BUT I have been holding/waiting over 10 minutes. While I wait, I am carefully packing up the postage meter because it is absurd to have a company that doesn't want to assist their customers.

Their phone number and automated system is a joke, and leads nowhere. Their "contracts" are ridiculously long, and virtually impossible to cancel even if you are dissatisfied. I work in a corporately run office, and we had two contracts (one for each location).

The contract for one location had expired, and we decided to cancel the contract (which I had emails confirming) and they sent us a return kit. I boxed up the machine in THEIR packaging and sent it back as instructed, and never heard anything back - A YEAR LATER they are calling to let us know that the account is still incurring charges, and that they have no record of sending me the return kit, and that they never received the machine back. When it came time to upgrade our equipment due to changes by USPS, we received numerous phone calls, emails, and letters to help us switch to a more expensive but compliant machine. Having replaced most of our mailings to email or ACH/electronic payments, we did not need another machine and it was simple enough to terminate the contract on the contract expiration date and let them pick up the old machine. Now enters the headache. Trying to get our credit balance from prepaid postage on the purchase power account refunded, there was no way to get it done online. Even following all their help topics, the options they show simply did not exist.

Calling did not help as the option choices that my need led me to eventually led to the phone system telling me to have a nice day and hanging up. The chat bot will not let you through to a human and never even gives the option. Just states we know you'd like to speak with a human, but let's try these other options that don't fit your need...repeatedly. Basically the chat bot is useless as it can only help with what you can find yourself in your online account portal anyway. Finally had to cheat my way into opening up a support case under a semi-related topic to access a human eventually. That human answered only half my question, but at least I got a link to request my refund (stupidly it couldn't be applied to their final billings).

On to the real cost of this equipment and contract termination. While it was not always the case, be aware that they will nickel and dime you these days. An extra fee for automatic credit card payments here, an extra fee if you load more than X amount of postage there, extra insurance charges added if you neglect to specifically insure their equipment on your insurance policy that covers every owned and leased asset in the building, a pinch of if you return your meter and have less than $25 credit on your account from prepaid postage there will be no refund, an extra $130 fee for returning their equipment in good working order as the icing on the cake, and annually you will be paying for their property taxes with sales taxes and fees tacked onto that. Property taxes were even billed on obsolete, non-compliant equipment. Shouldn't that taxable value have plummeted to nothing the minute the USPS made it obsolete?

Recently, I had to fight them over a late fee as my bank sent an ACH in payment for receipt on the day it was due as per my instruction. The money was removed from my account and therefore deposited into theirs via ACH on the due date, but they charged a late fee. I finally had to explain that as a former banker, I know for a fact they had the money on the due date and therefore they had no standing to collect that fee, but could try to collect it in court if they felt that strongly about it. The fee was finally waived, but the battle never should have happened. Long story short, I would explore other options and know going in to budget for all kinds of costs that won't be included in their contract fee. Also know that their after sales service is absolutely non-existent these days.

They have a phone number that is useless because any selection will eventually take you to the same prompt to see their website. They then expect you to research your own problem. You can also file a claim online. I tried this multiple times with no success. I got an automated email immediate saying that a "claim has been opened" and then before I knew it, I'd get another one saying the "claim has been closed". And before you wonder why I didn't just respond, you cannot respond to emails, nor can you "comment" on a claim that has been closed. So then you're stuck in the endless cycle of opening more claims just so you can explain your question. I even requested that someone call me, and again, no response.

Sometimes, they would send an email saying they had referred my case to another department, and said department never did anything either. The best part?... all I needed was to load postage to my meter. Pretty basic. I was getting an error on the screen of my machine, but I can only assume that because we owned it, they didn't care. Cannot say enough bad things about how frustrating this process was or how little they value customer service. We terminated our contract. Go with another company.

Buyer/renter beware!!! Do not rent a machine from these people. They are scammers and should have their licenses revoked. They do not allow you to speak to a human at all. I submitted a case 4 times and the last time the agent said they were calling me and never did then they closed the case saying they had update problems. I rented a machine from them for 20 years and our contract with them expired 15 yrs ago but we kept the machine & continued to pay the lease payment for years. Suddenly they kept calling, emailing, harrassing me aggressively to upgrade the machine as they wanted me to sign a new contract. There was no reason for me to upgrade so I never did. Then recently after confirming with the USPS pb older machines would no longer be compatible with them. We had no choice but to upgrade.

The following month we were billed 2x. Once for the old machine and another for the new machine but the old machine billing period was after I returned the old machine and started using the new machine. I contacted them via chat where my saga began. 4 closed cases later they are still charging me for the old machine and only terminated my old account as of the day I called regarding the double billing even though I returned the machine a month prior and provided them with the UPS tracking confirmation it was delivered to them. They are truly legit scammers. Any legit company will have a decent customer service unit. I feel like I have been taken and scammed. When they wanted me to upgrade my old machine they knew how to have a human call relentlessly but absolutely no customer service exists. I am sickened over the whole thing.

The chat bot is set up to ignore complaints and ignore anything related to shipping. Who do you complain to? You can't. You also get your personal information sold on the dark web along with your hard earned money stolen from you. I would have to assume they file insurance and no real justice is ever served. You don't have a choice on the carrier when shipping retail online.

Pitney bowes is partnered with all major carriers. Pretty pathetic that they even have partnerships considering all the horrible reviews. Not one good one. It's almost as if theft is allowed. Maybe they all have an illegal business on the side with all the stolen packages! How is mail fraud/theft being ignored for so long?? Wondering if pitney bowes is outside the US? I have asked them to close my account in March of 2024 and we paid for early termination. We had a postage machine from them. They came and retrieved their equipment. They apparently did not close our service agreement, just the rental one - their mistake - but they are still asking me to pay for service on equipment I no longer have!

I also feel that after 15 months of trying to unsuccessfully solve this issue, Pitney Bowes is purposefully harassing its customers. After 3 days of not being able to get an answer, we canceled our "contract" with them, which was intentionally month-to-month.

After even more of a runaround, we finally were transferred to a man who was extremely rude and told us they had our signature and that they would file a report against us. When we asked for the signed document, we were sent a contract that had their sales manager's signature not only on his signature line but also on our signature line. This was the contract they were trying to enforce and intimidate my small business with! I was shocked they even sent the contract over, knowing that it was a blatant fraud. It has now been 1 month since the incident and they are still trying to get us to pay the fact contract's existing amount and also have yet to reimburse over $450 in Prepaid Postage we had on our meter. I am still shocked a company as big as Pitney Bowes would operate in this manner.

After receiving multiple refurbished Pitney Bowes machines and countless calls, our company still does not have a functioning Pitney Bowes. It's been well over a month. First it was a "pin head," took a week to arrive, and did not work. Afterwards they decided to send a new machine in about 3 business days, the new machine did not arrive so I called on the 6th day, all they could do is apologize and said it will be here soon. When replacement finally arrived it did not work, they tried telling me it needed a new pin head again, I argued with them asking why they would send me a new machine that does not work. They finally agreed to send me a new one overnight.

I called after 3 days. They apologized and said it will be here soon, took about 6 days. Plugged it in and it did not work once again, tech support walked us through changing inks, pinheads, cleaning and again not working. They decided to send out a technician that never followed up or arrived. When I called to informed them I told them enough time has been wasted and we just need a functioning Pitney Bowes machine as our company mail is piling up. I was told they would overnight one the latest would be 24hour. Again I called on day 3 and they apologized and told me it would be there soon, another week after it arrived. Machine did not work again. I was told again a technician would come out, yet no one came or followed up.

Finally I asked for a manager and was told they did not have one, I was transferred from department to department for hours by other supervisors (Jason, Yumir,) finally I spoke with "supervisor Hazel" told me it would arrive overnight and that she would follow up with me regarding reimbursement/meter credits for inconvenience and that she would leave my case open and follow up with me personally once everything is complete. I figured finally someone with great customer service, only I missed the call the following day and she closed the order stating I was unavailable and case was complete.

I called to follow up given the runaround again, decided just to cut my loss and just wait for the new machine, still another few day passed even though I was told it would arrive the following day, day after day I call and still no machine. I called today to follow up and again told it will be here today by 7pm. I asked rep Ila when this "overnight order" was placed, she said on 1/30/23, I asked her to read notes, she read "send overnight, no more than 24hrs". I asked her how it is going to arrive today 2/1/23 at 7pm if this order was placed on 1/30/23 at 8am? How is that 24hours? All she could do it apologize, I asked her to read all the history and promises of delivery our company has been promised so she can understand how horrible their customer service is...Pitney Bowes please invest into better customer service.

Be aware this company is manipulating their customers by changing Delivery ETA consistently, a package from China should get to me in 12 days, means Jan 9th, now 15 days and no sign when it will be delivered. They just pushed the delivery date 4 more days. The delay occurred as soon as the item arrived to United States. The package took 3 days to get into United States/California from china but the nightmare started as soon as Pitney Bowes got the item, in CA warehouse the package froze froze 2 days and to Indiana warehouse took 4 days!! Then the package left Greenwood Indiana on Jan 9th heading to IL. That stage took almost 36 hours. Imagine 200 miles only took 36 hours. Now arrived in Illinois, the scheduled delivery was Jan 11th. Now pushed to Monday 16th.

The final delivery will be made by USPS, such service providers are indirectly stealing our time and money. They are well advertised but they are absolutely misleading us every single day and of course I looked for any way to contact the company regarding the package but the only available contact is for different cases-so long story short they have got no customer support for this type of cases.

We've used them for quite some time, and they are terrible to deal with. Once I had to contact them because they showed we had two postage meters. We literally have a business with 6 employees all in one room, and I pay all the bills so I would know if we had a second postage meter. It took over a month to get it removed from our account, I talked to a dozen or more people, none of whom seemed to be in the US, and finally got a resolution.

They recently told us we need a new meter, so I asked them in an email if they could take the new in the package ink cartridge back. I was given a toll free number. I dialed it the first time and was told I had won $100 Walmart gift card and press any key. I waited, and just kept getting the same. So I pressed a key and got someone who told me all they could do was sign me up for the gift card. Sounded like a scam so I hung up and dialed again. This time I got Pitney Bowes. I can see the number I dialed on my phone, and it was correct. So evidently they allow this marketing company to randomly whisk people away into their scheme.

Anyway, the new person gave me another toll free number. I read it back. I called that number and got someone who told me I needed to call a third number. It was some phone company I had never heard of that either you press one to sign up for service or stay on the line and get transferred to an automated directory assistance system. No joke. The second guy didn't tell me I hadn't reached Pitney Bowes. He gave me the number to directory assistance. I'm so sick of this company it makes my head hurt. DON'T. These are the facts: Employee prior to me purchased a postage meter lease for 63 months and we are stuck with it. I attempted to get a reduced buy-out on the lease based on all the issues we have had, but Pitney-Bowes wanted us to pay for the entire lease! We are spending far more on the lease than we are saving on postage, savings is approximately 12% of the yearly total lease amount.

Pitney-Bowes revised the “Purchase Power” Terms/Conditions for the meter overage fee without our acknowledgement or consent. The lease we signed had over $500 a month; revision was any amount over $150.00 a month. What business only sends out mail that is less than $150.00 per month? Pitney-Bowes did not disclose that you can prevent overage fees by having a 'Reserve Account' for the Purchase Power account.

The machine jams & double-charges us postage. I was told to go to USPS for a refund; however, you must have ‘proof’ of the double-charges. Hard to provide proof when the jam will not print the postage out. It was extremely difficult and time-consuming to get a credit for the double-charges, but I succeeded in this after much frustration. We have had two machines with the same issues. I also requested that a technician perform a site visit for this issue and I was originally told that it would cost $500.00, so I cancelled. I later found out, from a Pitney-Bowes manager that this service is covered under the lease! So, I rescheduled the technician, but we are still having issues. I was told by technical support and the technician that there was not a history of this machine jamming, only to find out from the same manager that this was untrue!

Pitney-Bowes also did not disclose to us that there is a 'loyalty rewards' program. The points can be used in several ways, including a credit applied to your statement. Customer service communication is extremely difficult to deal with because of comprehension and speaking clear English. There are more complaints and issues, but these are the most important highlights.

Now, I'm up to a long wait on a 3rd package waiting on Pitney Bowes to get it through the system. It's up to 17 days behind and who knows when it will arrive. They blamed it on Covid 1st and that can have an effect but other delivery companies were only a few days behind. Now, it's Covid & an increased influx of packages. Again, other delivery companies aren't using excuses and are generally getting things delivered on time or slightly ahead of schedule, but rarely a day or so late. There's a reason why PB doesn't provide a way for consumers to call them. I wish I had a say in what delivery service my purchases came from as I certainly wouldn't allow Pitney Bowes to have anything to do with the process. At this point they had given me an expected delivery date of May 3rd. Okay a month later, whatever, I've seen the reviews and kind of expected a longer delivery than UPS or FedEx. May 3rd comes and goes, no package, so I think okay let me check if there was an issue. Nope, still just shows the last update of it departing the hub, but now says "delivery unavailable", with nothing else.

Their customer service number is an endless loop of an automated system telling you to contact the business you bought from, who at this point would have no control over the package but to refund you. Finally I found a different number to call, where the lady I get in touch with says, "oh, we only sell printers and equipment for shipping. We don't actually ship anything, but let me take the tracking number and put you on hold."

A few minutes later, she has an "update for me, that the package was last recorded being "somewhere" in New York, and should be at my local USPS center soon. From there she says she can't tell me exactly in NY where it is, but to call the USPS center to find out if they have it yet. I said, okay, could you tell me which one to call? Nope, just any of them, as if there aren't hundreds of post offices in New York. By far the worst experience with almost any business I've ever dealt with. Completely useless, and the Better Business Bureau needs to shut these people down. The company is a complete scam.

Showed truck driving husband the delivery map, they only needed two more stops to have a complete star that they made touring Atlanta. The address was for Tn. They blew through Tn and took it to GA. Where it sat for 5 days and didn't move until I filled a inquiry, then it moved further South Into GA instead of heading towards Tn. Any company that uses this shipper is a garbage company, any company that also uses USPS isn't worth dealing with because the postal service, is losing packages left and right as well. How can Pitney Bowes print a label give it to a random company with no customer service or company name. I have at least 5 packages sitting in Maryland. It's weird that I did receive one package. It arrived to the warehouse after my other packages. But the other packages was not given to USPS. I'm going to contact the BBB.

Original Review: I contact Pitney Bowes. They only supply the printing labels but not the delivery. A 3rd party stores it until they give to USPS. They can hold it for 36 days. 3rd party has no customers service. Bad service.

They are LITERALLY the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with ever. We would have a large amount of merch orders to go out, would go up to our credit limit and still had orders to fulfill. Try to pay online, can't because they haven't generated the invoice. Call them, get put on hold for 40 minutes, finally get someone, they say no, you have to call this other number, give me the number and say I'll transfer you. Dead air. Disconnects. Call the other number, on hold for 30 minutes, disconnected.

Call again, on hold for 20 minutes, oh no you have to call the first number, don't know why they told you to call us. Rinse and repeat. If you are lucky enough not to get disconnected. If you finally are lucky enough to get a hold of someone, they say "nothing we can do, you have to wait 2 weeks until we generate your invoice". So basically SOL on shipping anything through Canada post unless we pay someone (and pay more for shipping) to go physically to the post office. Increase our credit limit, cut us off before we have used it all. Repeat all the steps above. Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME you have to call them. We had a label maker that they were charging us for that we weren't using. Tried to get just the one piece taken off the contract and an address to send it back to.

Many phone calls and emails later, still no resolution, so it sat in our office on a shelf unused but we were still being charged for it. Finally get ahold of someone that will cancel our contract and give us an address to send the equipment back. We pay a VERY large sum to get out of the contract, send the equipment back. 10 days after they receive the equipment (can tell because tracking numbers are a thing), get a call asking where their equipment was. And now they want us to pay more to get out of an online application that we obviously aren't using?! Anyone that does shipping out of their office, DO NOT USE Pitney Bowes. Canada Post has made it so you can ship directly through them from your office and they will come and pick it up. How this company is in business is absolutely beyond me.

After closing my company, I wanted to simply return the machine to them and pay off the lease. Despite the fact that I did send them a check for 600 bucks, which they acknowledged, paid off the lease, I guess, except for two weeks, they have continually pestered me to send them $1,000 more on the lease. I have spent many hours on the phone with Pitney Bowes trying to get this clarified. They continually give you someone on the phone who was unable to resolve the issue. They tell you that they’re gonna update your record, they’re gonna send this to this other group of people. Then the other group of people send you one more threatening letter saying you owe them 1,000 bucks. I don’t know how this will end. I can tell you that I’m not giving them the 1,000 bucks. I will actually sue them in small claims court before I do it. I’m completely fed up. I’ve never sued anyone, I pretty much never even reviewed anyone before online. But I cannot believe the awful, terrible quality-- not necessarily the people on the phone doing customer service, it is the system, the way they have set it up. I am guessing due to the complaints everyone has written to BBB (better business bureau) my guess is that they are keeping a closer eye on Pitney Bowes to ensure that there are no more problems with the company and the facilities throughout the world.

I am still a bit skeptical about this service because who knows if they could mess up the next time but, I guess I got lucky? For that I'll give 4 stars. Like, I said either BBB is watching them tensely or I was just in pure luck. Other than the box of my package damaged here and there the actual item itself is fine and is in obsolete condition. I think that's the seller's fault for packaging it a bit harshly but the item itself aside the box is just fine 100%. A lot of people here harp on Pitney Bowes for their horrendous experiences dealing with them and I just want to say, it's all likely true. Pitney Bowes is hands down the LEAST reliable shipping company I have ever had to depend on. I have had a few experiences over the years but most recently I ordered a few things from Dr. Squatch (who deals with these situations with grace and deserves your business) but Pitney Bowes lost four packages out of five I ordered from Squatch over a couple week period. Four out of five lost. That's insane to me. Someone mentions that level of failure probably costs these businesses money to replace items and purchase other shippers to bypass Pitney the second time around.

I also want to mention, even when I do end up getting my packages, Pitney has taken their sweet time many times; like estimated 5-10 days delivery (to that effect) and it arrives like literally most of a month later. Pitney Bowes is terrible even when the packages show up. Don't use them. Here is my advice, if you ever buy something and know Pitney is a shipping partner, do yourself AND the company a favor and get expedited shipping (or select a different shipping option). I don't know why companies use Pitney but I imagine it has to the be one of the cheaper options considering their service is actual dog**. All in all I've lost probably six packages over the years to Pitney in addition to them doubling their shipping estimations multiple times. Don't use them, don't trust them, bypass them; even if it costs an extra $10-$20. Not worth the stress and coin-toss levels of dependability.

I have a package that was supposed to be a Christmas present that has been sitting in a suburb that’s only a 30 minute drive from my house for the past 6 days. And that’s supposed to be priority shipping from the seller, which cost extra. And it isn’t just occasional poor performance from Newgistics - everything they ship takes at least 50% longer than the shipping estimate. I think they must actually use a horse and buggy to ship packages. Welcome to the 1800s.

I've been ordering products from The Beard Club for a few months now and shipping is handled by Pitney Bowes and I can't see how this company is concerned in any way about the length of time it takes to ship a product. In the most recent case, the product was on a truck that drove right past my city, apparently without stopping, down to Los Angeles, some 200 miles away, where the product now apparently resides.

I like the products I'm getting from The Beard Club, but if the shipping is handled by Pitney Bowes, I'll find another company. On average, it has taken almost 4 weeks for everything I've ordered to arrive. I get stuff in less time from China and it has to go through Customs, so what gives? Pitney Bowes made its name making postage meters and scales. It needs to focus on that and get out of shipping because it is definitely not good at that.

It was a pretty special gift for my daughter this Christmas. Completely disappointing. Some genius thought since they can print postage, they can courier as well. They can’t. The single worse shipping service I’ve experienced to date. No way to contact them, no explanation. If you can, confirm the company you're purchasing from does not use Pitney Bowes. Like the others reviewing, I have nothing good to say about Pitney Bowes. I am waiting on 2 packages in currently lost in the black hole that is their system. I had package ship from the merchant on Dec. 5th and I am still waiting on it. Supposedly it will be here on Dec. 30th but I doubt it considering that is the 3rd or 4th expected delivery date they have provided. Fortunately, no Christmas gifts were in that purchase, so other than being angry at their incompetence, I didn't have to leave anyone disappointed.

The second shipment is with a subscription service. It shipped on Dec 11th and still waiting on it with no expected delivery date. The first merchant did announce they will no longer use PB and have cut ties with them. They are also sending gift cards to customers impacted by the PB's incompetence. I appreciate their willingness to make it right with their customers and not "reward" bad business. The other merchant hopefully will cut ties as well. Otherwise, I may end my subscription. All other carriers I used/merchants used delivered in a reasonable time frame despite all the circumstances this year. That's how you know PB is completely incompetent and using COVID as an excuse, is just that, an excuse.

I orders two pairs of shoes from Adidas website on December 1st hoping to have them here by Christmas. It's now December 27th and I have yet to receive the shoes. There's been 3 supposed delivery dates (4th, 16th and 20th) which all have come and gone without receiving my products. I have tried contacting Adidas three times and they said Pitney Bowes labeled a bunch of product wrong from the end of November through to the beginning of December, resulting in delays. However, I didn't buy that as I've seen so many similar reviews from different companies. Also, there were updates on my shipment - if it was mislabeled surely there'd be no updates that make sense?

My order has been in a nearby facility since the 16th of December with no movement and no delivery date in sight. I tried to contact Pitney Bowes directly and waited 30 minutes on the phone listening to an automated message clearly stating if in inquiring about the delivery and transit of a product to contact the retailer as their agents won't be able to provide any information. Adidas escalated my case but haven't heard back with any results. This is by far the worst shipping company I've encountered.

To see how many companies are using them is sketchy - I've never heard of this company until now and they're popping up all over the place having contracts with large companies? How does that even happen? Wish I would have never ordered now. Money wasted. Do yourself a favor and research the carrier a company uses before purchasing. Although Pitney Bowes website says it's nearby and haven't moved since December 16th, the tracking number is USPS and says it's on its way to another facility and tea king on Adidas website says it was delivered on December 16th. It's as if nobody knows where it is or it doesn't exist. Ridiculous.

This is by far one of the most horrific shipping experiences I've had in my life. I've never had merchandise just blink out of existence, especially not multiple large packages. I made an order that was fulfilled on the 24th of November, and found itself inducted into the Pitney Bowes system. On the 28 the items shipped out from Bloomington, CA, never to be scanned or heard from again. A second order from the same vendor was shipped out from Bloomington on the 2nd - no movement again until the 15th after arriving in Atlanta which was the destination city. It eventually made its way to the USPS who then promptly misshipped it to the wrong post office, but at least I know if exists.

I still have almost $400 in products missing from the primary shipments (much of which cannot be replaced by the vendor as they were limited) and for some reason we're expected to speak with the vendor for missing packages/scans? What can the vendor do, they aren't the ones with the package in their possession. Make it make sense, please. We all know that Covid has made conditions more restrictive, but I've ordered from multiple companies that use actual functioning shippers in between this time and all my items have arrived in a timely manner with only minor delays on the vendor's side.

It's also well known that Pitney has had a poor logistics department since they decided to expand into shipping. It's just worse now with the influx of packages for the holidays after they made partnerships with a bunch of businesses. If you can't handle regular flow then you get exactly what is happening now where the consumer is being punished. The worst part is that they won't even acknowledge the problem and make generic form letter excuses instead; that's just bad business. I don't know if I'll ever see my merchandise, but I know I never want to see the name Pitney Bowes next to a tracking number again. This has been atrocious from top to bottom and not something I'm willing to relive.

I ordered something from The Gap on November 30. So far, after almost a month, Pitney Bowes has only managed to get it from Greenville, Indiana to Atlanta, Georgia. The package has not yet come anywhere near my porch in Nashville, TN. I ordered a package from Adidas on Dec. 5th and a shipping label was printed on the 7th. It’s been 2 weeks and still no package. The only package that I haven’t received is the package handled by Pitney Bowes. I reiterate my Adidas package, the only package of mine this holiday season handled by Pitney Bowes, has been sitting stagnant since 12/15/2020 in a warehouse. The customer service has been horrible and the clarity around the tracking, where the package is, and expected delivery date is atrocious.
