This is typical overpriced corporate trash. Nigh impossible to reach someone that has any inkling as to what's going on. They are also "account hijackers" as I refer to them. Direct withdrawal from your account. What? You can't trust me to pay my bill? I know you will reply with some bovine feces such as "dumpany policy" or some other corporate terminology that disrespects the intelligence of all involved but you guys are trash. Real, real, real trash.
I was optimistic at first but my agent kept pushing, "You should spend more..." Well, I did and shortly thereafter realized I had erred greatly. My customers went from the short term/fast pay projects to long term/SLOW pay projects. My cash flow is now pitiful. After lots of research and shopping around I realize now that I have been suckered. Thankfully, I found a company that is actually affordable, no contract, and I know works because they represent my distributor that has grown exponentially in just a few short years. I cancelled Hibu on the first day I could. (One of the most satisfying calls I have ever placed.) Today, some corporate zombie from an Iowa number calls me up, "What can I do to get your business back?" Let's just say he will NEVER forget talking to me.

We appreciate the chance to respond to your issues. You have been a loyal client for over 2 years, which we value. We understand that you felt the monthly rate of $1764.07 was too high, but we are showing you agreed to that contract amount. Since 3/20/23 you have had Smart Online Presence, Display and Search. On 6/17/24 you added Local Ranking to your marketing. When we partnered with you, you were promised a Click Through Rate of >1% from Search ads and 70-90 clicks per month from Display ads. We exceeded that expectation with a CTR of 5.32% on Search and an average of 254 clicks per month from the Display ads. Your listings are ranked first and second under Septic Repairs in Beaumont and Orange, TX. We also understand that you were upset about the automatic payments. This is a requirement that is outlined in our Terms and Conditions and your account has been set up on automatic payments from the beginning. A cancellation has now been processed for all products and services per your request and no further payments are required on your account.

HIBU says they will increase your traffic flow (get leads that turn into appointments and eventually sales). I have been with them for 4 months at $1600/month for a website creation that I had to find them pictures that were suitable. They couldn't figure out how to put an attractive picture of a door or a window on my new website. (Amateur Hour). In these last 4 months ($6400 spent) I have had 3 leads. THREE!! I could have done better walking door to door. When I tell them I'm not happy they stopped returning my calls and emails. I really wish I had read some of the other reviews before I signed with them. DO NOT use HIBU. They are a total rip-off.

Our client’s concern was that Hibu did not deliver what was promised, however, when we partnered with the client, they were provided with a Statement of Work that stated they would receive 50-100 website clicks per month. Over the last 90 days, our client has received 1871 website visits, which exceeded expectations outlined in the statement of work they agreed upon.

It is almost hard to describe in words how bad my experience with Hibu has been. They do not follow through with promises, they don't know what they're doing, although they will claim they're "experts" in marketing. I wasted so much of my hard-earned money on their gimmicks. To top it all off, when I called to cancel my services, they said I didn't give them enough notice and charged me for another month. I highly recommend you choose ANYONE but this poor excuse for a company.

Thank you for speaking with us regarding your concerns. We understand that you were concerned about your performance results. Our records indicate that your Search, Display, and Social programs performed well. Over the life of the campaigns, the Search had over 22,000 clicks with a 15.6% Click-Thru-Rate, the Display had over 2,000,000 impressions with 4,463 clicks and Social had an average of 279 clicks per month. We apologize that you felt your account was neglected by our Sales Team, but we show that you were unable to keep some appointments with them. We also understand that you were upset that you were billed again after you canceled the Online Foundation Solution. Per contract terms, cancelation requests must be made 15 days before the invoice. A cancellation has now been processed for all products and services.

HIBU Will not honor their promises at all. They will drag you out as long as they can with no communication and still try to charge you for nothing delivered. Even after getting upset and finally trying to get them to honor their word they will just throw together a cheap non working website and 0 advertising that gains you nothing but debt from Hibu. Run run run and find someone else to help you.

Zack is the best. Helped me with my phone connection so I can use it to reply. I was lost for answers. GoDaddy charges were totally a mess. He took the time and helped me. Then got GoDaddy on the phone and started working on my problem. Got it done ✔️ then got to the office helpline and restarting my account. Thanks again.

We have been using Hibu for about 6 months now and the results have been great. We have seen lots of leads and reviews from them and the responses have been great. Markus was our rep and he was great and very responsive. We have seen lots of calls and emails and movement on our seo with Hibu's help.

The salespeople promise the world and the product itself just fails to deliver. In my case I believe Hibu committed a material breach of contract, and they still are trying to hold me in the contract. I operate a window cleaning business. Here's my experience: The website they create is generic and bad. They outsource it to their India team so it's full of poor English and done by people who in my case didn't understand the difference between power washing and window cleaning. You can pay somebody on Fiverr $10-20 to build a website better than what Hibu does. Okay, that's annoying but it's my own fault. I should have asked more questions. Luckily, you can edit your own website which I had to do because when I submitted changes they got ignored.
Now let's talk ads: This is where I believe my sales reps caused a material breach of contract. I'm honestly not even certain still if a window cleaning ad ever ran. I was never able to find my ad when searching for it. In the first few weeks almost all of my ad spend was going towards solar panel cleaning. I received no calls for window cleaning. This was a first for me. In the 10 months operating my business I would receive 3-4 new homes a day for window cleaning. In two weeks with Hibu ads I received zero window cleaning calls. I would search here or there for my ad using the various phrases, but I never found it. The material breach I believe is that they were advertising me as a Power Washing company. I am a window cleaning company.
The words window cleaning is in my business name. Why are they running ads and using the bulk of the budget on add-on services like solar panel cleaning and power washing? So, I ask Hibu to change it. They tell me they do. But no matter what I do - I'm still not finding my ad. Finally, I have to go into my dashboard and figure it out on my own. There were ads for power washing and solar panel cleaning in my dashboard but there were still no ads created for window cleaning. Meaning that if you searched for window cleaning, you'd see my ad for solar panels or power washing. That alone would explain why I got no calls for window cleaning. But here's the kicker. They were running the ads in Texas instead of in California where I live and operate my business.
This was just unacceptable for me. I immediately emailed to cancel my contract. I hired them to take this part of my business off my plate so I wouldn't have to worry about it and it did nothing but create massive headaches that are still continuing. I offered to pay them ~$800 out of the ~$4200 initial two months of contract for the work they did. I thought this was fair all things considered. They are trying to hold me in the full 6-month contract now. My sales reps have all but vanished. It's a nightmare. My last hope is that my bank does the right thing and sees through the snakeskin oil salespeople that Hibu employs and approves my dispute.
The claims team at Hibu says I have no case - they offered me a $100 credit for the 5 days my ads were in Texas. After I emailed to cancel and asked them to cease all work on my account they went in and added the window cleaning ads. The claims team is saying they were present the entire time which is a lie. Do not make the same mistake as me. Run as far away as you can. I'm going to be sharing this with every service professional I know in my area so this doesn't happen to somebody else.

During the consultation, the client listed window cleaning, house washing, solar panel cleaning, and pressure washing as the services for his Search campaign. We understand our client is also concerned that his Search ads targeted TX rather than CA. Our records indicate that our Support Team changed the geo-target for the Search campaign incorrectly on 7/25/24. This was corrected on 7/29/24 and the client was offered credit which he refused. The client has requested to cancel but they are still within the terms of their 6 month contract. Our client has been notified that a request to cancel can be made for the Smart Online Presence on 12/31/24 and the Search, Display, and Social on 6/15/25. We have emailed the client with a direct number and email, should they have further questions or concerns.

Hibu promised me more reach and visibility online if I I signed up for their services. I paid them nearly $3,000 and then they shut my website down when I missed a payment. My website is inaccessible to new and existing clients. This has severely damaged my business. I filed a complaint with the FTC, BBB, Attorney General Office.

We appreciate the chance to talk with our client regarding their concerns. Our client’s concern was that their website had been shut down. In the terms and conditions that our client agreed to on 11/08/23 it is stated if payment is not received, Hibu reserves the right to suspend or cancel all or part of the Services and access to them. Before this action was taken there were multiple warnings provided to our client via phone and email regarding their past due balance. This account has since been paid current and services have been reinstated as requested by our client. We understand our client is also concerned over the ROI. Our client was provided a Statement of Work on 11/08/23 with the expected results of their products, to which we have exceeded. The client went from a listing error rate of 75% before Hibu to 0% today. In the SOW it states that the Social ads should average at least 40 clicks each month, to which we exceeded with over 60 clicks per month. The SOW also stated that the Search ads would see greater than a 1% click-thru rate and an average of $4.65 cost per click. Our client had 27.1 K impressions, 460 clicks, and a 1.7% click-thru rate with a $3.02 average cost per click. We are looking forward to our continued business relationship with them.

As the owner of a digital marketing agency representing a client in Boise, I am deeply concerned about the conduct of one of Hibu's employees, Eric **, who is located in Southington, CT, and holds the title of Digital Marketing Strategist. You are my competitors so this is an ethical issue. Last night, Eric engaged with the AI chatbot on my client's site under false pretenses, claiming to be a potential customer. Our bot, designed to respond efficiently within 5 seconds and handle up to 25 prompts, provided clear answers about our services and location. Despite this, Eric used his marketing knowledge and skills carelessly, deliberately provoking the AI into an unnecessary argument. The bot would provide our location and services and Eric kept pushing back. Breaking the AI and getting it to argue is no easy feat and was clearly not by chance; this was the work of someone deliberately toying with the AI.
Eric then had the audacity to leave defamatory reviews on multiple platforms, including Yelp, Google, and Facebook claiming to be victim of harassment. Eric must have forgotten all he had to do was close the window. This behavior is both unprofessional and unacceptable. It is evident that Eric's actions were a deliberate attempt to toy with the AI and then play victim, unfairly penalizing my client for the interaction with the chatbot. In speaking to Eric about the situation to see if we could resolve the problem he chose to post a comment about my wife.
We are hardworking individuals striving to earn an honest living and did not deserve this unprovoked attack. Despite reaching out to Hibu via Facebook, Yelp, and email, we have received no response. This lack of accountability is troubling. I urge Hibu to take immediate action by coaching Eric on business ethics and professionalism. Until corrective measures are taken, this review will stand as a testament to our experience. Should Hibu address this misconduct appropriately, I am open to amending this review.

Customer for over 10 years and disappointment in the lack of compassion when cancelling. A little background I had to cancel my services because I recently sold my business. I had not known I was supposed to give 15 days notice before cancelling to not be charged whole month. I called Hibu to cancel my service, 3 days before the new month started. I was not aware that a 15 day notice is required. I had to pay $316 dollars for advertising for a business that I no longer owned. 15 days are required before cancelling yet they want you to pay a whole months' worth of fees, wasn't even offered any reimbursement.
I was so focused on the sale of my business that I didn't think to look into the fine print and yes, I take responsibility for that. But again, some compassion and flexibility for a loyal customer would have been appreciated. Not many people would remember a contract from over 10 years ago that there is a 15-day cancelation policy. I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't know or remember this ridiculous policy, which is sickening how much money they are pocketing from this! Disappointed that I wasn't offered any reimbursement, and no exception was made considering I have been a loyal customer for many years. Now if the new owner asks me if she would recommend your services in the future, I'm now inclined to say no.

I decided to go with Hibu because of their positive reviews, however, my experience is very disappointing with absolutely no business generated from my Hibu marketing. In their contract, they indicate they will develop a Facebook business account for my business. This was not accomplished so therefore, I am entitled to cancel my contract, however, after talking with five different people, nothing could be done to cancel my account even though they voided the contract. This is just a warning for those who desire to engage in this company.

BEWARE. They are non-performing and design generic websites. I stopped using them after 3 months but still had to pay for a 6-month contract. Three months after the contract expiration, they are still telling me I have to do a voice recognition interview to cancel the account. They are the most unprofessional, unorganized company I have ever dealt with.

We appreciate the chance to respond to our client's issue. Our records show the client had requested to cancel on 3/4/24, however they were still within the terms of their 6-month contract. When we partnered with the client, they were provided with a Statement of Work that stated the Social was to receive 35,000-51,500 impressions monthly. We met that with an average of 50,600 impressions monthly. All products are now scheduled to be canceled before the next invoice. We have attempted to contact our client in hopes of discussing their account further but have not been able to reach them. If you can relay this information to them as well, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

The worst marketing company I've found so far. I'm paying over $14,000 a month. They don't have their Google Reviews turned on for a reason! I've been with them for 10 months and my leads have dropped to nothing, over half of my staff doesn't have work, and all they do is defend their "data". You get charged for each time someone calls you for example 1. Customer calls to schedule appointment 2. customer calls to change appointment time 3. customer calls to pay you. They will count this as 3 Quality leads and charge you for each and a ridiculous rate of $100+ per lead, and when you complain their response is along the lines of -- you had 3 quality calls just yesterday (meaning the calls listed above). They talk you into paying them to build your website so it all works together, but the website performs poorly and ranks much much lower than the previous. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! THEY DO NOT WORK FOR YOU- ONLY THEMSELVES.

When we partnered with the client, they were provided with a Statement of Work that stated they would receive 60,000 to 85,000 impressions and 200-250 clicks for the Display. So far, we have exceeded this with 183,000 impressions and 401 clicks. The SOW stated the Social was to receive 60,000 to 82,000 impressions and we exceeded that with 998,801 impressions. Finally, the SOW stated the Search was to maintain a consistent click thru rate of 1% and we exceeded that with 5.55%. We have emailed our client with a direct number and email, should they have further questions or concerns. Our client was thankful for the information.

I met with Peg in the Chicagoland area and was apprehensive because I have been burned before from other digital companies. I knew right away she would take good care of us and had a statement of work to back up what she said. I have been nothing but blown away at results I am seeing. I am thrilled with my decision to work with Graham and Hibu! Graham helped every step of the way through the transition and the results were almost immediate. I am blown away by how many Google reviews Tucson Sports Recovery has gotten since starting with Hibu; before Hibu I had to pull my clients' teeth to get them to leave a review! We have already had great results with Hibu taking over our advertising needs! We get a bunch of new leads almost daily and we have been able to convert those leads quickly! Working with our Representative Gavin has been great, he put some fun back into advertising for me because it's always one of those love/hate things I have to do for business. He stays on top of what we need and answers any questions I have, no matter how big or small they might be. Our new website looks great as well and it's really user friendly. Working with Hibu has been an awesome experience!

Heather and her entire team were very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process from the sales presentation to the implementation of our website and overall sales strategy.
