ADP has not and will not obey the state law for GA. I currently bring home $21 a week due to their simple mistake. The state law specifies that any garnishment(s) cannot exceed more than 50% of disposable income. I make $300 a week and they are taking $279! I submitted all forms and proof needed to release garnishments (which should have never been taken to begin with because it exceeds the 50% state law) and they have the release from the issuing agency but they are continuing to take out the garnishment! Very unprofessional, had to call 5 times and talk to 2 customer service reps, 3 supervisors and finally spoke to the supervisor’s supervisor and now I'm waiting for them to call me back. Ridiculously unprofessional and if you are considering using these people for payroll then remember they can't figure out what 50% of $300 is!!!

I've had my Aline card for about 10 days. I've lost count of how many times I've had to call people over all sorts of things. Yesterday, I called to change my PIN which I had never set but couldn't set because of the verification system. It took the agent TWENTY MINUTES to do this and he asked me at least 5 times if he could place me on hold to do research. Then he said he was going to send me through the automated system which didn't work before. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said he was going to put me through the automated system. I had to ask at least ten times for a supervisor and DEMAND a yes or no answer from him as to whether he could get me the supervisor.
Then, after changing my PIN, I called a few hours later because I was overcharged. They told me that was a hold. I explained I needed access to my money and would I be able to use the card for the amount that would be released after the "pending hold" went through. HE SAID 'YES'. I went to a store and my card didn't work, surprise, surprise. When I called to complain, the supervisor told me it was MY fault for not checking my transactions online. My company won't allow direct deposit for a while so this nightmare shall continue.

Horrendous experience with website and robotic moronic reps. I was not told that website not functional with Firefox until several calls. Was told to wait for payment option to appear on subsequent visits for several hours after registering. That too was incorrect info. If you have any choice, I don't recommend dealing with them. If you must deal with them and run into problems, call human relations dept at your employer and complain immediately, rather than risk further frustration and wasted time.

I cashed a check that was credited on 5/27/14. After using the funds the check was returned 5/29/14 causing my account to overdraft. How is it possible that a check is cashed then returned directly from it? My account has been negative since and as an employee can’t reach anything associated with ADP outside of the machine operators. It is now 7/7/14 and I still have not received a full reimbursement.

When I contacted, they acknowledge their mistake however the matter was never resolved and I keep getting bills from the hospital during coverage period. Looks like everything is super uncoordinated in the company and everybody gives a different version of what is going on. I never had such a terrible experience with any other company I did business with.

First, I was laid off 4/10 and didn't receive my paperwork from them until 4/29. I had to cancel and reschedule all appointments for April. I had to pay for April, even though I wasn't able to use it. I logged in online as soon as I could and paid 100% of what it was asking for to cover me from 4/11-5/31. Their web site won't let you pay less! Then I started receiving statements saying I owed another $13 for this period or I would lose my coverage for May. I called and the first person could not tell me what it was for. I tried to pay online, but since it was already in June, it would only let me pay the $13 plus June's payment, even though I didn't need coverage in June.
I called back and the next person told me this was some 2% fee or whatever (Lie #1). Since she couldn't explain it, I asked to have someone call me that could. She said someone would call within 2-3 business days (Lie #2). 4 days later, still no call. I called back, and they were completely unable to help me. Then this person told me it was too late to pay the $13 anyway as I was past my grace period (lie #3), and I'd have to write an appeal and mail it in requesting coverage to continue through the end of May and for clarification of what the $13 is for and where it came from. I did, mailed it in.
Of course too soon for it to have arrived yet when I received another request in the mail for the $13. It clearly states that it must be postmarked by 7/6/2014, hence my "grace period" hasn't past. I fear they will cancel somehow at the end of April and make me pay back all of the medical services I had in May. I mailed the $13 just to try and get it to go away, but I shouldn't have to. So far, no one I have spoke to can explain anything. They are all useless. I am not sure what their job actually is.

I work for Medical Illumination Inc in San Fernando, CA. My company is using the ADP Total Source for HR purposes. I would like to explain my situation to you. Back in the February 2014 my company changed the medical and dental insurances and we had a choice of 4 different medical insurance plans. At this time I spoke with someone from ADP to help me to enroll to the best insurance for me and she told me that the PPO is the only insurance which covers the Facey Medical Group and the doctor, which I wanted. She recommended me to enroll to one of the most expensive plans in my company ($500/month). After I enrolled I asked my doctors office and they told me this is not the truth. I went to see a doctor and I already paid co-payment 2 times of $ 50. Now, I need to pay additional about $350 more, because the previous insurance covered only 80%.
Presently, in the end of May 2014, I spoke with another representative about my situation and finally she helped me to enroll to the Facey Medical Group with different Aetna (HMO) plan, to which my doctor belongs. I don't feel like I have to pay this amount of $350 to the Aetna PPO insurance, because I feel like I paid a lot of money for my previous insurance and also it is not my fault that I enrolled to the most expensive plan. I feel like the ADP representative misled me to buy one of the most expensive insurances and she was not very helpful. She told me that only the PPO insurance covers the Facey Medical Group. Can you please help me to find my rights about this?

We were audited by the ministry of finance in Ontario because of ADP's failure and have to pay back 12000 dollars in EHT and 8000 dollars in penalties and interest. ADP stated in writing that they would pay penalties and interest if they were derelict. They have refused to accept responsibility. I think they are deceitful and disgusting. Get this, NO way the produce an acceptable document for a customer that has an Extended Warranty with a Deductible involved! So far two on site reps and the infamous Web Chat folks are clueless! To make matters worse, I was informed by Sultan (our last rep) that that is "not an issue"! Our old Arkona system was much easier to use and way faster to get a customer handled start to finish. ADP screens freeze, have to click the tap feature more than once to go to the desired screen, all for the low low low price of...the highest in the industry! First of all, if you are the employee of a firm that uses ADP, you aren't allowed to talk to ADP, only your company rep can. Secondly I am a FORMER employee of a firm that used ADP and couldn't get in touch with anyone at my former employer because everyone in HR was quitting and no one would/could call me back to help me since they weren't there anymore so I had no way to get in touch with my the ADP rep.
I was having a simple tech issue with the ADP website and not able to view my pay stubs. After spending an hour trying to find a phone number that would get me to an actual person at ADP (without the automated system just telling me to call my company and then hanging up on me), I finally found a number on a random internet forum (of people complaining about ADP) that got me to a person. This person then was nice enough to transfer me to PC support, however that support person told me it was illegal for them to talk directly to me and that they couldn't help me with this simple problem. She then hung up on me in the middle of begging her to help me since I couldn't get a hold of anyone at my former company to get my ADP rep. She also told me that she couldn't tell me who my rep was because once again that would be "illegal". I know I was getting annoying, but it was because I had no options... either way don't hang up on me... at least have a little decency and send me to someone that could help.
Suffice it to say I will never ever choose this company as a service provider for ANYTHING. Ironically I've started my own business since leaving that prior firm and I am looking for a payroll/HR outsourcing company... You guessed it, IT WON'T BE ADP!!!!

On 10/14/13, I sent a claim to ADP for reimbursement of medical visits and prescription reimbursement. On 10/15/13, I called ADP to ask if they had received my claim and the agent stated yes but he then told me about a specific claim that will not be reimbursed. I have 2 claims, both from Northwestern Memorial Hospital. One is for $15.00 and the other for $20.00. The $20.00 claim will be reimbursed, however the $15.00 claim will not be reimbursed and their explanation is that the $20.00 claim says co-pay receipt while the $15.00 claim says payment receipt. They are to reimburse me for doctor visits, prescriptions, vision, dental and OTC medical or supplies. Both of my receipts look exactly the same and are from the same hospital.
I cannot believe that due to the fact that the $15.00 payment says payment receipt is reason enough to deny my reimbursement. Another reason for my complaint is the horrible customer service that this company provides. It's nearly impossible to understand the reps' accents and they cannot explain to me why I cannot be reimbursed other than repeating themselves like robots and saying that the $15.00 claim has to say co-pay receipt. Why do we go to a doctor at their hospital office? To buy shoes? To buy pizza? To watch a movie? NO, we go to them because we're sick and then this greedy company wants to mince words? This is outrageous!
I spoke with Maria, customer service rep, yesterday and she was no help and she transferred me to Betty in Escalation Subject Matter Department and Betty was worse than Maria! At one point, I became frustrated and I put my head down in disbelief and stated Jesus Christ, as many people do every day. Betty then stated to me that I would have to keep my conversation on a professional level because she found my call to Jesus Christ to help me stay calm personally offensive. Since when does her personal life drama have to affect her customer service tone toward me?
I will never use this awful company again! I would rather spend a few more dollars on physician and Rx co-pays than to have to deal with them. It's bad enough my employer uses them to process payroll because if I had any say in it, I would stop that as well but I have no power there. And I will counsel all my friends and relatives to run away from them unless you want to spend extra hours on the phone dealing with terrible foreign accents just to get your own damn money back! Absolutely without a doubt the worst experience with customer service I've ever had!

When our child was re-hired, the card was not reactivated by the employer prior to new wages being placed upon the ADP pay card. When our child contacted ADP, they were told that the only way to gain access to their money was to fax their Social Security Number, Driver's License Number, Date of Birth, and Address to ADP account management.
Our child has been told by ADP that this is the only way they can re-verify their information. When we contacted the payroll department of our child's employer, we were told that this is our problem and the employer cannot become involved. Our child has been paid but cannot access their wages until they fax their identity to a company that has been known to treat personal information in a cavalier fashion. We have repeatedly requested that our child's wages be direct deposited into their bank account. We have been told by the company payroll department that this is not an option. Our child's co-workers have direct deposit. In the employee paperwork, direct deposit is an option. We have provided everything necessary to set up direct deposit. Tomorrow I will be contacting them and expecting a quick return on my money that was taken from me. Another employee had the same problem with this company and they continued to take money from her check for three months after she filed bankruptcy. This is poor business and is something that should be taken care of when they have legal documentation to stop a garnishment.
Ever since our hospital has signed up with ADP, we have had nothing but problems with them. They have taken several vacation hours from all employees at the hospital over several months and still do not have our vacation hours corrected in a timely manner. Do not hire this company to control your payroll or you will have lots of complaints from your employees.

I contacted ADP advising that the returns they filed were incorrect, because the 4th week of September was not included in the returns because I was no longer allowed access to the ADP system. As of today, November 27, 2012, the amended returns still have not been completed and I am being told it can take up to another 2 weeks for completion. We are trying to switch payroll over to Intuit Quickbooks, but they cannot process everything without the amended returns. ADP has been very rude and unwilling to help with this situation.

My husband and I opted for COBRA when I was laid off from one of the big 4 accounting firms. ADP was the administrator of the COBRA accounts. Before Hurricane Sandy, we paid our bill online, received a confirmation notice, and proceeded to prepare for the approaching storm. After the hurricane and trying to regroup, I received a letter that they had cancelled our insurance due to nonpayment. When my husband looked at his business account, we saw that indeed it had already been debited. When I called ADP to ask them to fix it, they said I needed to appeal because (and are you ready for this?) I "didn't speak to a human so there is no way to insure accuracy." What?!
So if ADP can't accurately accept payments online, they should not offer it as an option. I have a medical problem now, and because the new insurance from my new job doesn't kick in until the end of the month, I am without insurance until they decide to "appeal" my "nonpayment". This is the absolute worst payroll company ever, and they should be investigated for fraud and incompetence. They have no business administering anything if this is the quality of "service" they provide.

I have to start by saying that my experience with ADP has been really terrible the last month. I had to set up direct deposit with them because I'm supposed to get my child support every 14 days. Nevertheless, I don't get to it until the 18th, 19th or 20th day. I can't count to pay any bill with this money or I will have overdraft fees which has happened several times. It's just a shame I have to deal with all this nonsense! I have asked my ex-husband to help and I have faxed over the forms with voided checks 2 times and another form with another voided check and they can't establish the direct deposit.
As of today, they needed a letter stating that I changed my name. After 8-10 calls, they are giving me this information. This is such a large company with such a poor work ethic. No one cares and everyone just wants you to call every 2 weeks to see if they took care of it and to find out that no, they have not. I'm being told that in November I will have this issue resolved after 10 phone calls and going through 3 supervisors. No one has tried to contact me by phone or by mail. Any advice, how I should deal with this because every manager tells me the same thing: "I'm sorry for the trouble" and again nothing get's resolved! Who do I contact?

ADP took over payroll deductions for my company in Feb. 2012. Since then, they have caused tremendous financial hardship and strain on me and my ex-wife. First, they were sending payments to the wrong account number. My ex-wife and children received nothing. Then, they sent the wrong amounts. All the while, the correct amounts have been deducted from my check. After an unbelievable amount of phone calls and eight months of fighting with them, they started a new garnishment based off a court order that was six years old and not current. All of the short payments have resulted in the state issuing a new order with $2400 in arrears that I've already paid and they are the cause of. And in the past two weeks, they have deducted the new amount on a bi-weekly basis but as I'm paid weekly, they are taking out double. ADP has stolen $2400 plus from me and has offered no means of a refund, compensation or anything else and continue to rob me weekly. When I say I've exhausted all other avenues, I have. Unless this is resolved, my only recourse is to quit my job and sue for compensation. I sincerely hope some help can be provided.

Unprofessional Cobra Practices and Very Poor Service: One of the previous posts mentioned they were surprised ADP didn't have a class action lawsuit filed against them for their business practices. I couldn't agree more. I have never considered hiring a lawyer until now. I wish I would've read these complaints before using ADP to handle my Cobra services. ADP sent me a notice in July that my insurance was terminated on May 31, 2012 without my knowledge. I wasn't aware of this cancellation because I was still making electronic payments from my bank account and Aetna still was insuring me with all my medical bills and prescriptions. There had been a digital account error in my bank payment. I didn't know anything had changed and neither did Aetna. I never received a letter or phone call from ADP until nearly 7 weeks later.
I immediately called Aetna and they said, "You are insured. We can't provide you with any other information other than that. You will need to talk with ADP who handles your account." When I called ADP, they simply said, "We no longer hold your account. You will have to talk to Aetna. You are not insured." I talked with supervisor after supervisor with not even the slightest bit of true concern and follow up was non-existent. This has been going on for 5 months and I am now in the process of retaining a lawyer.
Today, I learned that last Friday, after I threatened with getting a lawyer involved, ADP called Aetna and amazingly had my account updated - five months it took. What I learned today from Aetna is that now I am not insured and haven't been for 4 months. Over those 4 months, I had been sent pre-authorization letters for surgery, etc. And now I am financially liable simply because ADP did not release me with the proper paperwork. I also learned that now I don't qualify for a convergence plan with Aetna because I was terminated over 60 days ago! Really? Now, I can't secure insurance because of pre-existing conditions.

ADP has been processing my monthly train ticket for several years. The money is taken out of my check and the ticket is then mailed to my home. Twice last year, I did not get my ticket. They only reimbursed me for one, so I had to eat the cost of the second. I, since then, have the monthly pass delivered to my place of employment. I did not get the July ticket, so I had to purchase my ticket for $174.25. I then filed a claim and was approved; however, again, I did not receive my check. ADP will not issue another check. They will put the money in my account. I do not want ADP to mail anything. They would not even look into why I did not get two pieces of mail in one month. I have since stopped service but at this point, I may have to eat $512.75 for something I have no control of, and they do not want to work with me.
Currently, they are holding my monthly August pass of which I have no guarantee that I will get it. I spoke with the Supervisor yesterday, and it was like talking with a robot, no consideration. All I want is my $174.25. It's not my fault that it did not get to me. In addition, at this point, according to the supervisor, the only thing they can do is credit my account. I have since made other arrangements to get my monthly ticket. All I want is what is owed to me.

I am a single mom of 2 going through a nasty divorce. My husband refused to pay court ordered child support so it had to be garnished from his check. I started getting payments back in January from ADP, and was thrilled because I depend on my children's father to help support them as I am out of work due to an injury. Everything had been going great until almost 3 weeks ago, when I stopped receiving payments. I spoke to several people at my husband’s work who ensured me the payments are being taken out of his check. I and his employer have spoken to someone with ADP on several occasions they swear the payments have been sent and suggest I speak to my postmaster, which I have done several times. I called his employer again today because I still haven't received a payment. They called ADP, and the same thing, checks have been sent they say and then they say they can stop payment on the missing checks if I first pay them a stop payment fee. Then they will reissue them.
First off, I don't have the money to pay them to send me the money that is owed to my kids and they depend on for food, clothing, meds etc. I didn't cause the screw up, they did. I want my kids’ money, it's bad enough their dad doesn’t have anything to do with them and had to be forced to help support them, so where is the money they take from him for my kids? This is causing such a hardship on my kids and me, no way to buy food or pay any bills, or even take them to the doctor. My daughter is not going be able to go to a school trip because I don't have the money to pay for it, and my son had to miss his JROTC military ball because I don't have the money for that either. It isn't right they have to be punished because ADP didn't do what they are required by law to do. It's very sad and depressing to see my kids have to do without, as a mom my heart breaks for them. Any help on what I can do will be greatly appreciated.

A month later, they tried to withdraw $46,000 and did not provide us with the appropriate paperwork for our taxes. Not only did they withdraw money that was not authorized, they also did not file our taxes correctly or provide us with the appropriate workers compensation. I was told that they can't help me. They don't have a technical support department and that my employer, who is super busy, has to call in to try to straighten it out. No one will talk to me to help me. They can't give me the local office information. Basically, it seems like the only way you can get in contact with any person that this monolithic company is if you want to actually purchase a service. If you need help, you are on your own. They whined about confidentiality, but I'm not asking for any payroll information. I'm just needing to understand why my password doesn't work.
If I have the password and it shows up in their system, then clearly I have the right to access that information. I just needed help. All they do is hire ** who can keep chirping the same nonsense over and over. They might as well just send this customer support overseas. It is ADP's (aka, Garnishment Services) position that their antiquated system will not allow them to only withhold an additional $80 from my next pay check on July 23rd, 2010. Instead ADP insists that $240 will be garnished from my next check, and refuses to follow the $480/month garnishment for July 2010. As far as recovering the overage ($160) that will garnish from my check, ADP tells me that it's my problem and to get it from the Humboldt County child support services.
Just for your information, I am not a deadbeat dad. I have never missed a single child support payment ever. The reason my support dropped down is because my son graduated high school last month, and I am now only supporting my daughter.

In July 09, I had erroneously started having child support payments garnished from my wages. ADP was instructed apparently by my payroll department to garnish my wages due to an outstanding fee with an oral surgeon. ADP erroneously coded the lien as "child support", hence my payments intended for the surgeon going to a clearing house in AZ, or so I have been advised. My doctor wasn’t receiving these payments due to the miscoding, therefore creating a new request for payment which resulted in being deducted twice from the same paycheck for the lien.
My total payment that was due was $323.00. ADP has sent a total of six payments of $162.00 to the clearing house for child support in Arizona. The new request by my doctor was honored and I have fulfilled my debt to him at this time. ADP is still garnishing my wages for the erroneous child support. When the error was first noticed, ADP returned the first erroneous payment to me within a week, then garnished my wages again a few days later, the same happened the following week. They deposited the erroneous garnishment of $161.00 to my payroll account, yet deducted from my next pay again. ADP has roughly taken $1,000 out of my pay in error and has not returned it to me yet.
I have made several attempts to reclaim the final $500 that is still due to me with no luck. Apparently, it takes 10-15 days to request the funds back, which ADP has done several times to the clearing house, which returned the monies they could not apply, but ADP’s internals team returned them twice back to the clearing house. My final call to ADP today, 10/2/09, they had advised again it would take yet another 10-15 business days to recall my funds back. I have spoken with several managers during the course of the past 2 and a half months and several representatives each with a different story, each with no knowledge of the current situation. To this day, I am still owed about $500.
Since July 15th, I have had about $163 taken out of each of my pay checks (bi-monthly). Not all payments have been returned to me that was taken in error as I am still owed about $500. I am a single mother of 2 children that currently receive no financial support. I live check to check. $500 is a great deal of money to me. Again, this is only part of what was mistakenly taken from my pay. I have made a late rent and car note this past month and struggle on a day to day basis, not knowing when or if I will ever get this money that is part of my hard earned income.

ADP, which I had dropped as my payroll processor, for obvious reasons, kept saying they would fix the problem every time a new notice came from the IRS. They never corrected the problem. They only made it horribly worse. The latest notice they sent to the IRS reported that I made 612 million dollars and owed 172 million! I believe I only had 45 student at that time and my total second quarter payroll for 2008 was $49,000. ADP just compounded mistake after mistake until now my return looks like Halliburton’s.
I am not even sure what all of the fallout is going to be from this. I have spent hundreds of wasted hours trying to clear it up to no avail. The IRS has tried to put a lien on my assets. I need to pull a credit report to see what damage may have been done. It is the never ending nightmare. At least they have stopped contacting me to get me to return as a client.

We need our April and May 2008 payroll registers. We have been asking for them for about a month and they do not answer our calls and tell us they are going to do it and they don't send us anything. We are starting a new payroll company to pay our employees and because of their noncooperation we can not sign a new contract with a new company. We need an urgent response regarding this matter. Thanks.
Our employees have to get their paychecks through state & government rules but because of this company's misconduct deal with us we don't know what to do. More urgent was the way they handled our w2 forms. We literally had to beg for them multiple times and threaten them with an attorney. Final, after a former employee literally screamed at the representative they finally released the w2 forms. They constantly lie and say things will be fax. many times but nothing is every received.

ADP offer a flexible medical spending account. Legitimate co-payments were denied. The documentation they requested was impossible to provide. They suspended use of the card and kept the money.
