We shipped a Toyota Corolla from California to North Carolina and were very pleased with transport. We initially provided a 30 day lead-time and had to change lead-time to less than 7 days due to a change in circumstances. Dale took this change in lead-time and found Mario Express who was able to pick up the car in the short time frame given. Mario Express contacted me the day before to arrange the time frame he would show to pick up the car. I was not the person who was present when the car was picked up, however, I was told everything during that time went smoothly.

I had a wonderful experience with my car transport with Tom and the team from Ship a Car Direct. They are timely and professional and make themselves very available. They respond in a timely fashion and are always friendly which I really appreciate! Definitely recommend!

Ship a Car Direct totally exceeded my expectations! My Father passed in December and left his car to me. 99 Ford Explorer, not a beauty but it was "MY DAD'S". I needed to get the car from Florida to Ohio and put my name out there for bids. Don't ever do that, huge mistake! I was bombarded with phone calls and emails from obvious crooks. Horrible experience! This scared me so that I just put it off for about 6 weeks. I read horror stories on the internet @ companies taking months to deliver, being overcharged and damage to cars. The cost was high but fair and competitive. I felt the price was worth the ease of mind and customer service. My car arrived in as good of condition as it left. They were quite a bit early in picking up the car but they were still flexible in working with my schedule. They dropped off the car on time. Despite my living on a hill in a tight road neighborhood, they made it work such that they dropped off the car right at my new home.

We contacted Tom at Ship A Car Direct and he was able to book transport for my daughter's Mini within a few hours. Within 6 days the car was delivered in Dallas (no damage). A few minor issues with the driver's communication but Tom helped us sort it out. Will definitely contact Tom again should we need to ship an auto.

The whole process was painless and prompt. David was great. The carrier that was assigned to me was great too. There was a little bit of delay on pick up day but they shipped my car a full day early than expected. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

I needed to transport my car from Ann Arbor, MI to Fresno, TX in a matter of days. I contacted Ship a Car Direct on 1/29/2015, and David was able to find me a transporter to pick my car up on 2/2/2015. Not only that, the car arrived two days later in Texas. DSL Logistics LLC was the transport company; the driver was very courteous. Overall, my experience was positive because other transporters I contacted needed a two week notice in order to guarantee my pickup date, but Ship a Car Direct was able to get me one within a few days. I tolerated the missteps in the purported "door to door" service because of this. The pickup and drop-off were within 2 miles from provided addresses. Just make sure you have someone available to transport you in case the driver can't make it to your door.

David did the best job I can imagine at coordinating my car's transport from Florida to California at the best price possible. I would definitely use this company again!

I received a prompt quote online, a representative (Tom) followed up with me almost immediately after I confirmed, and was in touch with me almost every day until the car was picked up. I was shipping from the Washington DC area to the San Francisco Bay Area and it only took four days. It was also the most reasonably priced quote I received. Definitely using Ship a Car Direct next time I need to ship my vehicle.

Overall experience was very good. Dale was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Shipped in winter so we offered the shipment from MA vs our location in Southern NH to elicit more responses. This resulted in a 45 mile drive to drop-off but car arrived on-time. Actual shipping company (Elite) was great; They contacted us several times via email and phone. Car arrived with no issues.

My pickup date was set 7 days after my first available pickup date. It was delayed an additional day due to a blizzard on the 27th of January, 2015. I received my vehicle faster than I anticipated after pickup - arriving in just 6 days when the estimated time would be 8 days to ship from Massachusetts to California. I was very pleased with that. The carrier contacted me a day before delivery to give me a delivery window and then 30 minutes before delivery to ensure I would be available. My car arrived safely and without damage. Overall my experience was stress-free and easy. Matt was great, very attentive, and took care of all my concerns. I would highly recommend Ship a Car Direct.

I have shipped a number of cars over the last few years and had some mixed results. One time in particular, the shipper just totally failed to deliver and I had to make alternate arrangements. While they were not able to pick it up on my first available date, they kept me informed, and were able to do so within a few days. And honestly, I did not expect them to pick it up on MY first available date, as it was a day or two after I made the inquiry. I understand it takes time to locate a carrier/driver. My car was picked up and arrived at its destination without any problems. This was the second time I used them to ship my car in a month and I would use them again. I was moving to Texas and needed to get my car transported there from Virginia. Most of the reviews I read were horror stories of cars getting damaged and unprofessional behavior from companies. These guys had good reviews so I decided to go with them and hope nothing goes wrong. Once I placed and confirmed my order, it took a day or 2 to assign a truck to me which I had been informed of in advance. After that it went completely smooth and I got my car on the exact date they told me. I was relieved to to find my car in one piece with no damage. My car is a very small British sports car, (4 feet wide by 10 feet long). It was picked up in Happy Valley Oregon, and brought to Milford Michigan. There were some parts in the car, so they strapped the doors closed. Because the car is so narrow, it would not fit on normal width ramps, so the flatbed trailer was perfect. The car arrived in the same condition it was picked up. It is a total restoration project, so that is important. I am very pleased with the handling and timing of the move.

Requested a quote about 1 1/2 weeks prior to pickup date. The carrier was able to pick up my vehicle one day after my requested date but at the quoted price. Pickup went smooth according to my father and vehicle was delivered in 5 days after pickup date. Quoted delivery time was 7-10 days. Drop off was easy and driver requested cash. If you are having trouble deciding which shipping company to go with as I was, I am glad I chose Ship A Car Direct.

Everything went smoothly. I requested a quote and my original quote was lower, but honestly I was surprised by how low it was. A day or two later my quote was raised a little but $825 seemed reasonable to me - I was getting higher quotes from other companies anyways. The day before my pick up I got in contact with the transporter company who said they'd arrive in the afternoon the next day. They arrived that night, however they were pretty good about calling me and giving me updates on arrival times. I guess I can see how this may be a bit of a concern if your schedule is not as flexible but it wasn't a huge problem for me. My car arrived a day before planned which wasn't a problem either since they called earlier that day to let me know. Again, if I didn't have as flexible of a schedule it may have been nice if they called a day before if they expected to arrive earlier, but not a big deal for me personally. David at Ship A Car Direct was helpful and the driver/transport company was very thorough and pleasant to work with as well.

We had two vehicles transported from Florida to Washington state and as we had never done this before we had concerns, so did our best to research things online and read reviews etc. We decided on Ship a Car Direct and were very happy with the service. What we were told was truthful and happened and cost as explained. The transporting company we were supplied with was very good, friendly and great communicators and did their best to keep us informed on departure and arrival times and managed to keep fairly close to the arrival time first given even though they had a few snow storms en route. The pick up and drop off were within 2 hours of their estimates. Kay was my primary contact, and she was very attentive. My only complaint is that it was hard to reach people by phone, but Kay was responsive by email. I would recommend Ship a Car Direct to my friends.

The carrier experienced a problem with his rig and had to replace two cracked rims which is why the delivery was late. he kept us informed of the problem and the time delays along the way. He wanted to get back home for Christmas and it was going to be a tight schedule for him to make it. Would use ShipACarDirect again.

Since my pickup date in NY was the week before Christmas, they worked with my schedule to make sure the delivery date in CA didn't fall right on Christmas day. Otherwise, it would have been a headache to center the whole day around making sure someone was home to receive the car. The one unsettling thing was that I wouldn't know my exact pickup date until 24-48 hours prior but apparently, that's typical across all shipping companies. The carrier also wanted $100 more than what I was quoted, but oh well. In all, the whole process was pretty hassle-free and the car arrived just how we left it.

The auto was picked up on the date and time promised to me. It was delivered from Fort Myers, FL to Freehold, NJ in 3 days. It arrived on time as promised. There was not any damage to the vehicle. Great Experience! From the time I did my quote online to the day I picked up the vehicle from the carrier, I was contacted via e-mail and over the phone. I receive continuous updates and e-mails that explain the process step by step of what was needed, price quote, and so on. I didn't have a question that went unanswered. I used AT123 to move my car from California to Puerto Rico. It suffered over $3,000 in damage. They basically told me to go pound sand. So I was very particular who I used to bring it back. I would highly recommend using Ship A Car Direct when seeking a car transporter co. Tom walked me through the entire process and was available to answer any questions. The company also provides video clips of tips on how your car is shipped, what to do, what to expect, etc which were extremely helpful - especially to a person who has never used a transporter co. before. I would recommend the carrier as well. He was very courteous and polite, and the only rating that received an average was the time scheduled for pick up/drop off. I was told Thurs and waited all day and part of Fri for his arrival. Since I was on a tight schedule in MI, it was a wasted day and a half that I had to sit and wait for pick up. I have to give the carrier credit that some of it was not in his control. MI experienced a stretch of inclement weather which I am sure persisted across the US. I was told the delivery would be on Thurs and I had to wait until Fri. That was not a problem since I was back home and not on a timetable.

It took less than an hour for him to make arrangements. Last year, I tried to use another company to ship my Toyota Rav4 to Ca. I worked with them for six weeks. They waited until 2 days before I needed to have the car shipped. Then they said they could not help me. I reached Tom that day, and within the hour, he had the arrangements made. Sadly, some businesses are infested with a number of less than desirable providers. One of those is the auto transport business. But there is a way to avoid the scams and poor quality providers - and that is by feedback from actual customers. I feel very qualified to submit a review of Ship-A-Car Direct - as, within the past 2 years I have used this company to ship 8 vehicles. Vehicles were shipped cross-country as well as relatively short haul (Tennessee to Texas) routes. While every company has some problems fulfilling their commitments, I am happy to say, in all 8 cases, every car shipped made it to its destination on-time, damage free - from polite carriers who I was able to stay in touch with during the transport.

I had a flawless experience. I was scared looking into this process because I had no personal referrals and most companies either had little information and lacked reviews. I picked this place because their website was solid and their yelp reviews were plentiful (And the bad reviews had personal responses). Once you sign on they tell you who your carrier will be, which is one of many possibilities. My carrier called me several times to confirm the pickup and was exactly on time for the pickup. The drop off was again, exactly on time with the 2 calls ahead of time as well. The car looked the same as it was.
