Had the most terrible experience with this company. DO NOT use them!!!! No one picks up the phone or responds to messages or emails. The driver extorted an extra $150 from me upon picking up the car and refused to take it unless he received extra payment. He claimed it was illegal to have items in the car, when the contract specifically states up to 100 pounds of personal belongings are permitted. This was complete bribery and the company has not responded to my messages about what happened. They should do the right thing and refund my $150 and take it up with the driver! I have this audio recorded where he told me he refused to take it without the extra money. Sooo frustrating!!!

My driver was excellent. He really went above and beyond. He parked the car in an assigned parking spot and then went into the office to pick up a hang tag and then returned to the car to place it. I was quoted a price of $799 and when Roadrunner called with a driver the price went up to $1050. That was very upsetting!

Really disappointed with this service. The booking was made for 13th, they postponed to 14th and then to 15th. My friend, who had booked, had to leave their car with me. For all day on 15th, they kept assuring that they will have it picked up, but that did not materialize. It is the 16th and there is still no clarity on when the vehicle is going to be picked up. There is no help online (status not updated) or by calling.

Engaged RoadRunner (RR) for car transport. The pickup was slated by RR for 8/14. At 6pm my pickup person had not heard from the transporter (Rusol Transport) or RR. I left a voicemail for RR because they were closed and Rusol could be reached to give any indication of the situation. Rusol eventually texted they were running behind and would pick up at 5pm the following day (8/15).

Very easy. I met the transporter in a nearby parking lot, about 2 miles from my house. My driveway is long and off a small lane, so this made the most sense. He loaded up the car (in MA) and delivered it to my brother in Florida. Simple, fast, and no problems.

Car transportation could be hit or miss. Last time I shipped a car - horrible experience. Drive was late. Delivered far from paid destination. RoadRunner was prompt and communicative. The toll free number is weird - some Walmart gift card. IDK what that was about. The 516 number was better but it was hard to get to a real human. Tracking on the website - simply does not work. Buy yourself a Tile or Bouncie like product to track in real time. However, the real shipper is the key here. RoadRunner is just a scheduling service so your mileage will vary depending upon the shipper you get. RoadRunner does not operate its own fleet and that should be made clear to anyone seeking to ship a car. We were assign S&N Trucking Express which was awesome.

I booked a quote online with this company for my car to be transported and all hell from there. Nick is a manager and he doesn't tell the truth he stated I used them before and gave them problems, stated I have unrealistic expectations. Well look how the truth unfolded. I didn't use them, the company I did use called me and said he will write a letter stated that they delivered for me, not this company so I have so much to say but this is it. Don't use this company. This would be a horrible mistake

The pick up date and time was established for a Friday morning August 1st, with email confirmation. No one called or came on Friday.. eventually, later that afternoon, I got a text to contact the dispatch manager. I called him late Friday and he said that they will not be there to pick up until Monday, with delivery still promised for Thursday in Michigan. He confirmed that they would still get the car there on Thursday... I mentioned that "Nick ** promised a thursday delivery".. the dispatch guy said yes, but that it's an estimate. That was NOT what Nick promised..

Roadrunner was completely unreliable. They failed to pick up my car on the requested date, and then rescheduled and they failed again. It took hours to speak with customer service reps, and the ones I spoke to were rude and incompetent. Stay clear — this is a terrible, terrible provider.

I received a quote from RoadRunner to move my Subaru across the country. After reading reviews about poor customer service, I decided to go with another company. I received a phone call from RoadRunner where the man asked me if I was still interested in using RoadRunner to ship my car; when I replied "no," he promptly hung up on me without another word. Extremely rude and unprofessional; makes me know I made the correct choice to go with a different company!

I initially contacted Roadrunner almost 2 years ago, and when I was finally ready to ship my vehicle, they still had my original quote, and the updated price was almost the same! Once I confirmed the order, they picked up the vehicle the next day in Sacramento, and I had it North of Seattle in just over 24hrs! It could not have been easier!

I shipped a car from Malibu to New Orleans April 2025 at end of college semester. Pickup day was delayed by one day which was a bit inconvenient, but the delivery was 2 days quicker than expected. This whole process of shipping a car cross-country always makes me a bit nervous, but it was fine. I like how they use all payment via credit card. Only problem is you can't talk to the broker once your car is picked up...only customer service. Thankfully I only needed to ask a simple question because it took 24 hrs to get in touch. The car was in same condition drop-off to pick-up.

Everything went according to plan. Car was picked up and delivered when I was told it would be. No surprises which is always a good thing. Car was fine upon arrival. Easy to get in touch with offices when I had questions about transport and setting everything up. Would recommend to others.

The driver was courteous, thorough, gentle with my car, walked with me as I checked for damages. He delivered ahead of schedule and worked efficiently removing my car from the transporter. The drop off was mid-day, I received the call, the car was 2-3 hours away. This update allowed me to accommodate my work schedule. This is my second time using this company. I will use them again if needed.

RoadRunner Transport is a complete disgrace. I’ve made the mistake of using them multiple times thinking maybe—just maybe—they’d get it right eventually. Nope. This last time was the final straw. Total disaster. They are habitually late, their drivers rarely speak English, and there's zero professionalism or communication. It’s like handing your car off to a black hole and praying it shows up eventually.

The service was good, but the price increased when I paid. However, the car arrived on time, and it was only slightly dirty. The driver was friendly, so I appreciated that they accepted the higher price. However, I would like to see the price remain the same as the estimated price. I hope to use this company again in the future.

The car was delivered close to predicted time. The driver was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond to provide incredible knowledge and service and it was very helpful and appreciated. RR transport is no gimmick! We moved from NM to NC with an estimated transport time of 4 days and the driver was there 24 hours before. The admin staff for creating the reservation were great and able to get us a reasonable price. They even have a tracker that allows you to see what phase your auto shipment is in which is better than other moving companies. The transporter was very respectful to our property. Will definitely use them again should we move cross-country.

Definitely do not book with them!! Avoid at all cost especially if you want a stress free transaction. I booked 2 months prior and was told my car would be picked on 7/12. The carrier called me that morning said my car would be picked it up and the driver will call me 2-3hrs prior to. I waited all night still a no show. I couldn’t call Roadrunner because the next day on Sunday they were closed with no emergency contact info. Not to mentioned I received the automated text saying who my carrier was (Nine Express LLC) with a contact number to text my driver. Finally reached the carrier Sunday and he says he’s not my driver. He took my order number and never responded back. At this moment I was furious with nobody to contact couldn’t find a number to reach Nine Express LLC. ( did I mention that I have already paid the full price).

Highly professional, extremely fast (less than 48 hours from Dallas to Los Angeles) delivery, comparative price. The driver was friendly and punctual. I will always use Roadrunner in future for any car transport and will recommend them to my friends, colleagues and family for sure without any hesitation. Highly recommended A+++++

The whole transaction from picking up the car to the delivery of the car was smooth and easy. Driver (Ron) was a true Gem as he took his shoes off and put towels everywhere during loading and unloading the car from the trailer. Would highly recommend these guys for any of your deliveries!

The delivery of my vehicle was expected today by 9pm. It's 10:30 and no delivery, no communication no updates on the tracker page that has dates and time wrong. They were also late picking up. I would never use this company again.

This is a terrible company, do not, I repeat do NOT use this company to transport your car. They bait & switch, the customer support is terrible, they lie and say drivers cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. It's been a headache, my car is Savannah and it still hasn't made its way to ATL after multiple broken promises.

My 2008 Honda Civic arrived on time as promised! I was very impressed with how my car was transported and the time allotted for delivery. The driver was very courteous and honest about how he was going to transport and deliver my car. I would recommend anyone to RoadRunner to have their car transported!

Based on their ratings, I selected RoadRunner to transport my brand new vehicle from a dealership in TX to a dealership in PA. I was 100% let down, and left (on est. delivery day, mind you) with my vehicle NEVER HAVING BEEN PICKED UP. I submitted a quote. I was contacted directly, TWICE by a carrier, referencing my quote number, stating he was available to meet my needs including my time frame. I did my part and confirmed my quote. My selected pick up date passed, and then I was updated that my car would be picked up 5 days after what I initially requested. I was fine with that, because I understand how estimations work. I utilized RoadRunner’s provided tracking link. I received confirmation that the pickup party was contacted on pick up day and that I had nothing further to do.

Car had no engine and no brakes, the transport did not have any issues with it. Everything went smoothly, let me know when it was picked up and have me a good window for delivery. Happy with the service and would also recommend this service to others. The price was also a great incentive, other companies wanted much more for the same service. Everything was amazing.

Picked up and dropped off on time, good communication via email and phone. I can't say the same about a car you picked up a few days later, which was late on pick up. But that's a different order, so I'll write about that experience separately.

Absolute nightmare experience. I booked with RoadRunner Auto Transport expecting professionalism — instead, I got broken promises, wasted time, and zero accountability. They *canceled on me twice*, each time at the last minute, after making firm commitments that my car would be picked up. Every time I called, I was given the runaround with vague excuses, no real answers, and false reassurances. This company overpromises and underdelivers — if they even deliver at all. Their customer service is unhelpful, and clearly no one is actually in control of the process. I had to scramble to make alternate arrangements after trusting them with my transport needs. Avoid at all costs. Not reliable, not professional, and definitely not worth the stress.

This was the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with for any service! I made the booking a month in advance on 5/28/25 for a 6/28/25 pickup of my vehicle. Called multiple times since their communication was terrible, never got any calls back, just emails. Finally on 6/26/25 I get a call that they have a carrier and that they would contact me in 24hrs. Waited all day the next day and no calls.

Kept getting texts that driver was coming but he never showed up. Trying calling the number of the driver, no answer and mailbox full. Tried calling RoadRunner same, no answer just rings and rings or says they are closed for the day. 4 days later still no word. Luckily I was able to get another carrier to take the car cross country. I would say, do not deal with Road Runner. Terrible experience.

Excellent communication and process was very easy. Driver called in advance both for pick up and delivery. Car delivery was on time and in exact condition it was picked up. Liked getting status updates on line and via email. Was able to provide 2 points of contact so that we did not have to play phone tag.

Everyone was very responsive and helpful when I called or emailed. I appreciated the transit updates throughout the trip, it let us know where the car was the entire trip. I had a great experience with Roadrunner. They were very communicative with EVERYTHING!!! From St. Louis to Houston they quoted me 695$ and that number stayed the same throughout the whole process!! They came a day earlier to pick up my car and dropped it off a day earlier as well. They called me and coordinated and pick to the closet grocery store (because they need a wide area to drop the car off at, and my neighborhood was roads were small). The communication was flawless and soooooo simple!! I am soooo happy I went with this company.

The booking agent called me immediately to answer any questions. The FAQ's on the website was helpful, e.g. to remove the toll/tracking device from the window to avoid tolls. Needed my truck shipped south, driver contacted me several times to confirm shipment. The drivers were on time picking up and even dropped off at a different location than originally scheduled. They even met me in a parking lot for pickup to make it easier for them. I would use again if needed.

Initial experience in getting a quote was excellent. Getting someone to return calls about questions we had was close to impossible. The day the carrier was assigned, we were charged an extra $173.00 fee which I felt was extortion and for that reason is why the low score. We were happy with Armada Express who delivered our car on a 3 car carrier.

Also, the price was much lower than I received from a competitor. The difference was almost half. I actually used them for 2 shipments about a week apart.

Using RoadRunner Auto Transport to move my son's car from Minneapolis, MN to Allentown, PA was as quick and easy as it could possibly be. The car was picked up earlier than expected and delivered quicker than expected. Not sure how you can beat that for service! The icing on the cake was that the delivery driver arrived earlier than we had planned on the delivery day and changed the drop-off location to meet my son at his work location rather than at his home (the original delivery address). He was able to step out of work for about 10-minutes to inspect the car and take delivery. That is top notch service and very much appreciated. I received excellent service at an excellent value and would not hesitate to use RoadRunner Auto Transport again should the need arise.

Great service, very reliable. While everyone else was giving $3,000 quotes, I got a quote for $760 which got me out of an insanely tight spot. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! The absolute worse trucking company! 3 hours of waiting for someone to answer the phone and then they hang up on you! They charge your account without even picking up your vehicle!! They are quick to take your info and quick to take your money but flat refuse to work with you on any issues! You have to go to your Bank to get your money refunded back. RoadRunner is a NIGHTMARE.

I recently contacted RoadRunner Auto Transport to inquire about vehicle shipping and initially made a booking. However, after doing more research, I found a more affordable rate with another company—something that was very important to me, as I was already stretching my budget to try and afford this service. The quoted price of $975 was difficult for me financially.

It was very easy to schedule the pickup and drop-off. The driver was very professional, communicated well with us and was right on time for both. He did a good job of keeping us updated on his schedule and gave us plenty of advance notice so we could plan for our two meetings with him. Contracted them to move a car from VA to KY. Was given one price online, another when they called and a third higher price when they finalized booking. Day of pick up they text us at 9 in the morning and told us the driver would be there in two to three hours, 5 hours later we called and they more or less told us it’s not their problem and gave us the contracted driver's number. He never answered call or texts, but did show up after 630pm. He was unable to drive the car onto the trailer, my wife drove it on the trailer as it was evident he couldn’t drive a standard, despite saying he could, and almost tearing the front bumper off while lurching back and forward on the trailer tearing up my clutch.

On time for pickup and delivery and informed on a timely basis when driver would be picking up and delivering. Driver was friendly and helpful. My carrier was assigned a full days before pickup which made peace of mind that my pickup would be made on the date I requested and necessary so that I could make my airplane flight the following morning without any problem.

I have shipped a number of cars over my life and this is probably the best shipment I’ve ever had. The gentleman that shipped the car took extremely good care of the car and was very kind. he said it would be there at a certain time and date and it was right on time any assisted in putting the vehicle in a garage making sure that everything was perfect.

I recently had to ship my daughter's car from Alabama to Minneapolis. After doing my homework and reading various review I chose RoadRunner Transport. Industry reviews warned me of hidden fees and quotes that upon pickup essentially demanded ransom money (we quoted you $800 but upon pickup we need $1,100, etc). I chose RoadRunner after multiple conversations assuring me that $1,095 would be my FINAL price. No hidden fees, ransom money, etc. They also assured me it would be pick up within a day or two or the requested date.

The car carrier company that was assigned to our request was great. We had to drive to another city to facilitate a sooner than later transport. The driver Alexander was very thorough and communicated timely with us. Delivery of vehicle was smooth and on time. The only frustration I had was contacting Roadrunner upfront via phone. It seemed like I had to wait on hold for an extended amount of time.

I had used these guys in the past and everything was great. This experience unfortunately will be the last time I will use them. I had scheduled a pickup a month in advance as we were shipping our daughter's car home from college. We planned to stay an extra day to make sure the car was picked up and everything was good. Which I kept getting text and email updates that said we were all on schedule.

Car was in perfect shape which was worried about since it is older, has a white convertible top. No complaints and will use them again!

Car arrived damaged with my driver window cracked. I even purchased additional insurance through their company. I reported it and they have ghosted me. They won’t return any of my calls or messages. Worst company ever. Do not trust!

So, the driver who delivered my car was great!! And the communications and tracking was really good... No issues. The only thing I did not appreciate was them telling me one price at time of booking and then, the day before car was scheduled to leave, upping the price. Of course I wanted my vehicle and did have time to look around. But other than that it was a decent experience.

For more than a month after my auto transport was booked from Utah to NC, Road Runner did nothing but send me emails confirmed that I was booked. The moving day came and went, I flew away from Utah and they called me late that day (after I told them it must be booked by noon) and FINALLY found someone, but wanted to charge me $175 more than the agreed upon price. The guy was somewhat reasonable on the phone but the too late offer clearly helps no one. When I refused to pay the extra fee for terrible service, they cancels my order. Now I’m stuck finding a new way to get my car to NC. I’d happily pay anyone else the higher fee ($1400) to move my car if it didn’t give money to this company. Avoid them. They will drop the ball and then leave you in a bind.

I’ve used Roadrunner to move my car twice now - once in 2023 and again in 2025. The price has stayed consistently fair and the coordination was excellent. Pickup was on-time and vehicle was delivered on-time with no damage.

My vehicle had a Mechanics Issue while away from home. They picked up in less than 24 Hours and it arrived by 6 hours post pick up. No Hassle or Issues. I was sort of on the fence but honestly they provided a great service. The cost wasn't that bad either.

Roadrunner did a fantastic job transporting my vehicle from Chicago to Marco Island Florida. I called them and within 2 hours my vehicle was being loaded on the enclosed trailer. Three days later it showed up at my residence. I was extremely pleased with their response and efficiency. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a transporter for their vehicle.

Great experience with Roadrunner. They made shipping my car very simple. Would use them again and would recommend them to others. The car showed up the exact same way and left Illinois, got the Florida. It looked great. Driver was very efficient with taking pictures and documenting everything. Felt very secure with using roadrunner because I knew with them documenting and taking that many pictures. There wasn’t gonna be any funny business going on and I get why they do it to protect themselves from people claiming that they scratch the car.

I called over three weeks prior to requested shipment. They were extremely communicative prior to booking and assured me they could meet my ship date as I was buying from a private seller with a busy schedule. Three days before the scheduled shipment they said they could not meet the date and the best they could do was the day after the scheduled date. Luckily the seller could make it work but I was flying to the car’s location to pay for it on the original date and to see it put in the trailer.

Poor communication and poor customer service. Very vague about pickup times and dates. Was told they would pick up one one day between a certain time. The time passes and I cannot get ahold of anyone there.

NOT RECOMMENDED! BE CAREFUL! Don’t trust this company! You can be responded while they try to have your booking or asking for more money for insurance after then. I ordered to ship my car with the guy name ANTHONY **, shipping it from Florida to San Jose. They didn’t show up to pick up the car and didn’t answer phones, emails, text messages. Not responding at all. I canceled the booking and book another company to ship my car. They did in some tricky to pick up my car without my permission from other company and kept my car for 4 days, then they called and emailed me to ask for money plus storage fees to release my car. The accounting staff girl named MELISSA **. This is an act of stealing personal property and extortion from this company and those people. I’ll take further actions sooner. Just let you guys know to be careful to do business with this company.

This is a terrible company. They have zero customer service. I had to do their job for them. Do not use them! They weren’t interested in hearing my feedback. I was extremely patient with them but they were rude with me.

These people are liars and scam artists. I worked with Nick and scheduled a pickup from the seller of a auto I bought. Nobody showed up and it took until late afternoon to notify us. At this time, while we are in the middle of an Autotrader Escrow they told me the price is now higher by another $110. We had an agreement, we had a call and all was confirmed on price-in email as well. They lied and said the transport company that actually takes the job (these guys are brokers). Here is another lie-Nick told me the vehicle was covered via transport and it was a zero deductible.

Please I urge everyone not to use this company for your auto transport and they took 23 days to transport my car and had my car in two open lots. One in CA for 10 days and kept lying to me where my car was when I have interactive cameras in my car and one week in MA in open lot. I paid for enclosed carrier and they had my car in open carrier in CA and I have the video of it and when I said I will dispute my credit card for charge then they threatened me that I will never get my car. When they finally delivered my car it had tape marks all over and car was filthy and it wasn't in enclosed truck but behind a pick up truck driven by person without a valid driver's license and spoke no English. Had to get police involved in delivery of car.

I have shipped my vehicles several times before and this has to be the worst experience! The communication is terrible. They were 1 day late picking up my vehicle without any prior notice of being late. I had to rebook my flight as a result. When speaking to customer service, they were not friendly or understanding at all. One of the representatives hung up on my husband. They are now 2 days late from the stated delivery date. After calling the shipping company that they are using to transport my vehicle several times (JR Trans Inc), I am now finding out that my vehicle will be further delayed with no explanation. This will put the delivery 3-4 days beyond the scheduled delivery date. This is the worst experience.

Good price and great customer service. They were even able to deliver the car directly to our residence--we were concerned they may not be able to deliver to residences. Driver was very courteous and fast.

I think they could use the money on customer service. Literally, he just answers the phone dispatch. I understand drugs are expensive and you need a job, but when I tried to discuss the illogical nature of their business when everything is online and you have to call to confirm but they don’t call you back. He was like, "I’m not gonna argue." I’m like, "I don’t think we’re arguing. I think we’re discussing." There are other places to go, and I think in the day and age where people are looking to spend their money on good service this is not the place.

From order through the delivery, I was able to get my questions answered and got timely updates. My car showed up on time, safe and sound. My daughter who was the recipient said, "it was amazing". I would recommend RoadRunner transport and will use it again. Thank you for the service.

Anthony of RR took my call on Monday at 1045 AM and we arranged for pickup of my broken-down vehicle over the phone in a quick and easy call. I got a call that it was being picked up at approx. 430 pm and got a two calls from the driver letting me know he picked it up and when he was close to the drop off location. My vehicle was dropped off 310 miles away from pickup at the designated drop off point by 11:45 pm the same day. I thought it would take days, really helpful and gives good peace of mind it can be done so quickly and efficiently. Thanks

This company is a sham and will not hold up their end of the deal. I paid the additional 99$ for top carry and then they did not hold up their end of the deal. I even had photo evidence and then why I filed a claim they flat out lied and said they shipped it as “per contract”. This is a poor excuse of business and should not ever be used.

Everything went very well and our driver Luis was excellent and kept us very informed. We appreciated his attentiveness and courtesy very much. Everything was on time and the drop off was arranged very well even though we were not immediately available.

I have used Road Runner twice now. First was from East to West Coast and the second was from North to South. I had a positive experience dealing with the company, as well as the driver. The dispatch was easy to reach. The drivers were courteous and prompt in giving updates of arrival. The vehicles were in good condition.

I have used you guys multiple times in past two years and this time I was quoted 700$ for a price. Then the truck driver you guy selected had a car problem and he was not able to do the delivery and then had to wait additional day to get a new driver and you guy change the quote. It was extremely unfair as it was not my problem that driver had a problem and I should not have paid extra for change in driver. I called to get clarification and didn’t get any help so I wouldn’t be returning for any future services. Extremely dissatisfied.

I was searching for a carrier for my vehicle and they were the lowest cost that came up, so I gave them a try. I'm glad I did, because the process online was easy, communication was great. Shipping was on time. The only thing I found not working was the tracking website they had - but that did not affect the shipment at all. Good polite people.

This was my first time ever shipping my car, so I had a lot of anxiety about it. I scheduled it, paid for it about 2 months in advance. 7 days before my pickup date I was receiving reminders which I liked. The dispatcher that was talking to me, asked me to find a safe location for the driver to meet... Which is crazy cause I don't drive a giant truck with 6 vehicles on it to know what a safe location is... Then he would not respond to me or answer my calls & it was quite unprofessional however when I got in touch with the driver everything was professional, organized & polite. The driver gave me a safe location near my house which he loaded my car and began his drive. My car traveled from Arizona to Saratoga Springs, NY in 3 days safely, no damage was done. I was relieved, when I received the call from the driver saying my car had arrived. I would use this company again because the drivers are very professional the entire experience was simple and easy.

Great service - Actually door to door, on time and friendly drivers. My car was not scratched or damaged in any way. Professional. They made my car transport from New Jersey to Dallas Texas easy. Car delivered on projected date. Actually, they arrived a hour or so early. Seamless. Easy set up and constant updates this company same highly recommended and I would also recommend to anyone interested in transporting your vehicle.

Worst company ever!!! Booked months in advance only to get them to try and charge more than 50% more three days in advance of shipment. Went with NTS Logistics who was fair, straightforward, and honest. RoadRunner also tried to block other providers by keeping me locked in their system. Research and look at other reviews like YELP. They are a subpar dishonest fraudulent company!!!

We recently had to ship a car from Atlanta to Denver and Roadrunner made it easy. We opted for enclosed transport and the price was very reasonable. Everything was very professional and on time. The driver provided good communication for pick up and drop off and made it very easy. Our car was in perfect condition when it arrived.

Don't waste your time or money with this auto transporter. I booked online and received a text an email stating that the vehicle would be picked up next day and delivered that same day or potentially the next day (which would have been yesterday). The day AFTER it was supposed to be delivered (as stated in their text and email I saw that the car had not even been picked up. When I contacted Roadrunner auto transport this morning by phone (the day AFTER) it should have been delivered I received another email and text that a new carrier had been assigned and it wouldn't be delivered until 4 days after they promised (three days from today). I was then given the run around (pun intended) and treated as though they were doing me a favor with a "short notice booking". Believe the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews. I should have researched before scheduling as I would never have relied on them to do what they promised.

I had a wonderful experience from start to end, communication was great. My driver was great and very polite. My car arrived before proposed date, so they made great time and I was thrilled to get my car early. My car arrived with no damages and my driver took pictures of my car before he loaded it on the his truck.

I was worried about using a company to pick up a truck we purchased 11 hours away. I read reviews of several companies and my anxiety was a little high. I chose RoadRunner because of the reviews and they didn’t disappoint. The total amount was slightly higher than the quote but that’s why they call it a quote and you are warned of this before you send them your payment information. I would use them again in a heartbeat. The driver was very nice, he communicated often and arrived exactly when he said he would.

Deliver was Ahead of schedule, reasonable rates compared to other bids I got, proactively communicated pickup times and date and dispatch called ahead as a reminder. I Would recommend to anyone looking for auto transportation services. Driver was friendly and even aired up my tires as a couple were low upon delivery.

Our Honda HRV vehicle was picked up on November 18, 2024, marking the start of what turned out to be one of the most frustrating and disappointing service experiences we’ve ever encountered. While the booking process initially gave us a positive impression, with the agent being polite and helpful, everything went downhill from there.

My coordinator Jay was super helpful and always made sure I was in the loop with finding a carrier and/or when my car would be picked up! Sorry to have called them. Did not honor pickup or delivery date. Charged my credit card without providing contracted service. Called them get nothing but excuses and false promises. Feels like a lack of professionalism. Don’t feel that I trust them. And if you cancel after they don’t show, they want a cancellation fee. Buyer beware.

The man that came to pick up and deliver car was great. Very prompt time. He called said what time if that was convenient and all worked out great. I was just a bit worried because you don’t say much until the time but I do realize why now. I was extremely happy with the delivery of my car from Texas to Florida.

Amazing service. Thank you Mickhail but was very disappointed in the fact that of 846 and then all of a sudden it jacked up to 1095 which I thought was very ridiculous. I personally think that once you get that quote, they know exactly where you’re at. They know where the car is going from and where it’s going to when they give me that quote of 846. It should’ve stayed at 846.

Great service and very reliable when it comes to shipping vehicle. Our shipped car came as earlier as I thought and my concern regarding the delivery date and easily resolved where the delivery company adjusted so the receiver can be available to receive the car on the day she was available.

I am very, very unhappy and dissatisfied with RoadRunner Auto transport service. They quoted me a price to ship my vehicle of $766 and then switched it to $925, after they had my credit card information and assured me they were the best service and price. Based on my experience they are neither the best auto transport service or price. First of all they sent me an email confirming a driver would pick up the vehicle on 11/12 and deliver it on 11/13 and if I had any questions to contact the driver at SMS Transport #916-562-4586. None of it came true, not only was the vehicle not picked up on 11/12, the driver never answered his phone or texted, also his phone voice message was filled. That being the case I called the RoadRunner customer service number numerous times and was referred to their online tracking system which had incorrect info and never updated! Do yourself a favor and find another auto transport service!!

The carrier transported my car from Denver to address in CA. The carrier arrived 1 day earlier than they originally thought which was great for us. Car was dirty but driver explained there was snow and lots of sleet. No issues with car. Driver communicated well on his arrival. Basically a very good experience and would recommend to others. Transported my car from Massachusetts to Florida and the experience was excellent! The price was what I was quoted, no changes or surprises. I was originally told that it would most likely take 3 to 4 days to deliver my car. They delivered my car in 1 day! I would absolutely recommend them.

Everyone was courteous and helpful. Although, the delivery was late by one day, it didn't matter to me because my schedule was flexible. Those with tight schedules may be affected by this. Otherwise, car delivered in good condition, with all stuff intact inside. Although, outside and driver's side was a bit dirty, but not a big deal.

Everything went smoothly, I did get the bump in the rate when I called to confirm, but driver showed when scheduled - and with a smaller trailer because it was a neighborhood, delivered on time and easily scheduled on the other end. He was knowledgeable and understanding as our vehicle was about 300 mi from where we had to have it towed from and my husband was nervous. All communications were clear and timely as we were told. I recently scheduled (Oct 14) to pick up a car in Columbus Ohio on Oct 24 giving them 10 days to get a carrier (which is subcontracted out). We agreed on a price on Oct 14 and gave a credit card number. I tried contacting them a couple of days before to make sure we are on schedule without being able to do so. No return calls. Only a tracking site. Well, come pick up day. Nothing! Tried contacting again. Nothing. Called the day after the pickup was scheduled nothing until late in the day. Someone calls me and says, "We have a driver for you but it’ll cost $350 more!" At that point, I told them to shove it. I don’t not recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!

Driver was friendly and was able to get my vehicle onto the truck bed quickly. Transit was very quick with no hiccups. Driver was arriving late in the night and scheduled for a morning pickup at the destination. No problems getting the vehicle off of the truck bed. There was no damage to the vehicle at all and everything about my delivery was 5 stars. I would absolutely use Roadrunner again in the future and will recommend them to friends/family. This was my third time using this company and they are great! I used them moving down to Florida and now moving back up to New York. I have had nothing but a great job done. I had a great experience with transporting my vehicle from Illinois to Arizona. Ordering was easy. The price was right. I was able to transport my vehicle with items in my car which another company doesn't allow. I met the driver at my local Home Depot since my street is too narrow for his truck. He was friendly and kind and took great care with my SUV. It was taken to Arizona to my new home in a very timely manner and all was well. I highly recommend.

My F-150 was picked up on Tuesday Oct. 15th and delivered on Wednesday Oct. 16th. Everything was in perfect shape and the contractor did call before pickup and drop off. Very fast service! Very nice people. My truck was picked up in Ct. and delivered to my home in Florida in just Two days resulting in almost no down time.

Transporting one of our company trucks from our Knoxville, TN office to our employee at Virginia Beach, VA. I put the order on the morning of 10.10.24 and the transporter was at our office the same day to pick the truck up. Truck was delivered the next morning of 10.11.24.

Car was to be delivered to my mother. Was expecting it to arrive in about 3 days. Instead, it was delivered within 8 hours. Mom was happy and so was I. Exceptional service. Was skeptical, was pleasantly surprised. Was a little disappointed at first because the price that I was originally quoted was changed to about $100 more, but after it was delivered so fast my disappointment changed to satisfaction. I had a very frustrating experience with Roadrunner Auto Transport. Their customer service was consistently rude and unprofessional, even hanging up on me multiple times when I tried to clarify important information. They missed the scheduled pickup date after assuring me it wouldn’t be a problem, and when I reached out to find out what went wrong, no one seemed willing to help. To make matters worse, they provided incorrect carrier and dispatch information, adding to the confusion. I would not recommend their service to anyone based on this poor experience.

I have used this company twice in the last 10 years and had zero issues either time. The car was picked up and delivered on the requested dates both times and I was not charged any added fees either time. Be honest about what’s on the vehicle and you won’t be up charged when they come to pick it up. Thought I’d add that after reading some of the negative reviews.

Car was delivered perfectly, bit of delay and lack of communication but nonetheless great and pretty quick service considering it took 2 days from Oklahoma to California, this website uses other transport companies as this isn't their own, kinda like brokers so hopefully they get a good one like mine.

Hello. The sign up process was easy and the rate was fair…then, they pushed back delivery and raised the rate, but I went ahead with the delivery. The day of pick up sucked…I got word the delivery company would be there within 2-3 hours, but I waited all day. RoadRunner assured me delivery was still a go. But I called the carrier after business hours and they said they weren’t sure why it wasn’t picked up. They said they would call me back, but 5 minutes later, my order was canceled. RoadRunner had no answers the following day, customer service said it might take another week to find a carrier and schedule!!! Dispatch said they would find a carrier. The day after they said they found a carrier that could pick it up the next day, but delivery might take an extra 2 days.

Great driver Dimitri. He was very polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and competent. My only other thought is that I believe your prices are too high. Thank you! The car was picked up and delivered on time as promised. I would recommend Road Runner to anyone wanting to have their car transported.

Absolutely terrible service. They added fees to the service the day before pick up and the day of pick up over &1500 extra. They also did not pick up vehicle on date of receipt which caused major difficulties. I called for assistance and they did nothing. They are a scam.

Thank you! This service was fast and efficient. Despite the weather in Florida Hurricane Helene, it was delivered on time. Also the pricing wasn't bad, it was my first time so I just went with what came up first from Google, and it was excellent.

I called and reserved a pick up date for my daughter and her husband’s vehicle to get shipped back to California because he was coming back from the deployment. I told the representative that it had to be on a specific date because they had already booked their flight to go back to California when he got back to NC. I never got the call for the pick up window so I called the dispatch and the dispatch gave me a time and also gave with the driver‘s cell phone number. The dispatcher told me one thing and then I called the driver and he told me something totally opposite. Long story short the driver showed up 24 hours later and the entire time I was communicating with him he was very rude and disrespectful. When the car got dropped off, the key fob was damaged. It looked as if someone took a screwdriver or a pen and dug out the lock and the unlock button.

I had a great experience shipping my car from Chicago to San Francisco. I made an online request and they picked up my car the next day. It also arrived a day earlier, so I was really impressed. My transporter, Victor, was awesome! He is very responsive and always earlier than the agreed time! I appreciate it so much! :)

Updated on 05/11/2026: I have used RoadRunner previously for a Ford F350 from California to Nevada. The experience was very good therefore I gave them my business the second time and was please with the outcome. Carlos was very pleasant and helpful in moving my car from Nevada to Rhode Island. He arrived on time and helped resolved a minor but stressful issue despite the neighborhood had limitations for a full scale truck.

He put us all at ease with his abilities and professionalism. The delivery time exceeded our expectations. Shipped Tuesday pm and arrived Thursday AM.

My first time using a transport company and was recommended by a friend. Price was very good, and talking with your local rep. helped us understand how it all worked. The transport truck driver Max did well, came at the estimated time of pickup and also gave us confidence about safety. The delivery time was shorter than the estimated time.

Everything was good except that after the contract was signed and closed, someone from the office call for additional charges, which sound to me suspicious because after you signed a contract, no other charges should follow. The delivered was fast very nice and the car arrived in perfect conditions, the delivered staff was very nice and very professional.

Christain **, all the way - through customer service....through delivery - the drivers both for pickup and delivery... all the reps were wonderful and informative, completely professional, no-nonsense and on point. The whole experience was great. Scheduling was easy and the team worked with me every step of the way on finalizing dates. The carrier arrived on time, was very polite and helpful. Came on time, delivered on shortest of time estimate. Only issue was price increase 2 days before. Driver was excellent. Pickup on time, delivery on time. Good customer communication from start to finish.

The shipper badly damaged the underside of my vehicle due to negligence on the carrier's behalf. Their driver will load, unload, and move the vehicle around multiple times on its trip. Their damage insurance states the following, "Your shipment includes standard coverage, which provides basic liability and covers carrier negligence and equipment failure during transit", but when I contacted customer support, they told me to call my insurance company because their insurance coverage doesn't cover the underside of the vehicle, and they quit responding to me. No more follow up, no more interest about how their driver damaged my vehicle, nothing. They made their money and they don't care after that.

While on vacation, my daughter had a mechanical failure on my 09 Hummer. Unable to get it fixed in a timely manner, I had to get it 700 miles back home. The RoadRunner site and associates made it very easy to arrange pickup and delivery. Within 2 days, my vehicle was sitting in my driveway.

I am so impressed with Roadrunner! My car was picked up on time and delivered in time. The entire process was professionally handled from start to finish. It took 3 days for my car to travel from Houston to Portland, OR. My car was not damaged and everything was in place upon my inspection. It was also helpful to be able to store a few items in the trunk.

The delivery person was one time for pick up and drop off. The only problem I had was the tracking of the shipment. It shows the route but would have been nice to see the location. Maybe just a pin drop after each day just to know that your vehicle is on the move.

Driver Andre kept in touch with us and we had a flawless meeting, inspected the car, he showed us the photos of the car when he picked it up. Overall, a very satisfying experience. I highly recommend Roadrunner Transport if you're buying a vehicle from a private individual or a company.

Our transport person, Sergei, was prompt, helpful and delivered our vehicle across the state the same day. We especially appreciated his enclosed trailer and the care he took to document the move with pictures and to contact the ship to party when he would be arriving so the new owner of the vehicle could minimize his time off work to receive his vehicle at his residence.

I am pleased with the transport and delivery service, however the communication when the car was being picked up and delivery was not clear, either the 9-13 or 9-14. Cause a great deal of inconvenience and uncertainty. Also, when calling to checking in for status- a lot of phones being answered at once. Not good.

The actual carrier was Diesel auto transport, but both companies coordinated well and supported me throughout the process. They set me up to transport a car from Tennessee to Florida and they set a day and time to pick it up and drop it off for a very reasonable price and they did everything on time and very professional. I was stressed out transporting my car from Colorado to Illinois. I do a lot of research and so many auto transport companies had negative and fake looking reviews. After Sherpa tried doubling the cost I decided to give RoadRunner a shot. The car was picked up and arrived exactly as I arranged. I wish I could help more people find this company because I had to search deep to find them but it was an all around easy experience. The drivers called my brother for pickup hours before and they called me hours before so it all went as smoothly as can be. There was no hidden fees and I saved a ton of money. Pick up in Florida and drop off in Ohio were handled professionally. Drivers were focused and demonstrated awareness of insuring proper handling of loading vehicles. Second time using Road Runner and extremely pleased with the transporting of two vehicles each time. Delivery was actually early on both ends of the transporting.

They gave me a quote online for $1175 to deliver a car from San Francisco to Nashville. Then emailed saying it would be $1543. Then once I had scheduled the pickup they said it would be $1638. Communication around the pickup and delivery times was AWFUL! They said they would pick the car up on 8/23 and would give 2-3 hours notice. They didn't pick up until 8/24. Never ever again would I let this company deliver a car for me. I wouldn't let them deliver a postcard for me.

The driver was very efficient and picked up my vehicle short amount time and delivered it .. Only issue I see is a language barrier.. If he could speak English.. I tried to ask him a few questions..but he responded like he did not know anything I was saying.. Too bad for him because I was going to give him a 100.00 tip.. I felt snubbed and changed my mind. As a driver delivering.. time was awesome..

I shipped my car a day prior to my relocation from Mississippi to Ohio with the intention of flying down, I was surprised when my car got to Ohio before me. This would be the second time I am using this platform to ship my car and I must say that they are very reliable.

Roadrunner was very reliable and they kept me informed by email and text messaging on the delivery and pick up of my jeep Wrangler. Would definitely use them again no hesitation at all. Highly recommend roadrunner. The only discrepancy that I would have with roadrunner was the pricing. The first price they gave me was great. When it was time to pick up the price changed. Don’t know why it went up like $100 more. Not a big deal. Just would prefer to have known that out the gate.

No nice way to say it but terrible! Planned ahead and agreed to pick up my car in 3 weeks and when the date came, their excuse was "it can be picked up either today or between today and 3-4 days." Even after that, nothing happened and no updates. Also, it takes a minimum of 30 minutes to call them since I'm on hold trying to resolve the issue every day for almost a week long. Never will consider again and moved on to another shipping company very easily.

Picked up and delivered on time with no issues!! Great job on the quote, being on time for the pick up and delivering my new vehicle to Arizona State University without any nicks or dents. I would do this again when we take the vehicle back from Arizona to Michigan at the end of the school year.

Excellent communication. Reasonable pricing. Only minor comments are that the car arrived one day later than originally expected, but that was pretty minor. Also, I was quoted a price that I paid for at the time of booking, but when they called me to schedule to pick up, I was told it would be another $200. even with that extra, I thought it was a fair deal and I would use them again.
