I called Roadrunner Auto Transport and explained that I needed a quote transport a car from Canby Oregon to Kissimmee Florida. I explained that I had booked with another carrier but after a week of waiting they still had not picked the car and I wanted a price quote from their company. He then asked me if I had cancelled with the other carrier and I explained that if Roadrunner's quote was competitive I would cancel with the other company and go with them. He angrily replied "I can't help you" and hung up on me. I will never consider this company again. If they are this rude to someone trying to get a quote I can only imagine how they treat their customers.

Excellent service. The cars were picked up in Fort Lauderdale on the date promised and delivered to Cathedral City four days later. The cars arrived in the same condition as when they were picked up, and the driver was very professional.

Communication was poor and price was changed after I had booked it. They are cheap but you pay for what you get.

I had a great experience with RoadRunner. They were in contact during the time I booked until pickup and to delivery. My delivery driver arrived early and took great care to park my car in a busy LA neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Bait and switch - SCAM - BEWARE! On June 2, 2026, I spoke with Dominick ** and asked him once I agreed to the cost for his company to haul my brand new vehicle from the Cadillac dealership in Henderson NV to my home in Virginia Beach, VA how long would it take and he told him it takes 1-2 days to get confirmed on a load and then 6-8 days to arrive. I have this in writing as well. I agreed and signed the agreement for $1929. Soon thereafter I was reading reviews online about this company doing bait and switch tactics. I emailed Dominick who replied and assured me that would not be the case. After not hearing from anyone, on June 8th I spoke with Lana ** (manager) who reassured me that the agreed upon price would be the price I'd pay.
Yesterday I got a call from Jonathan ** who said my vehicle would be picked up and hauled to me but that I'd have to pay nearly $600 more. I told him that was not what we agreed to in our contract and it was bait and switch. He said either I pay that or my vehicle will stay at the dealership. Ironically, in the initial quote from Dominick he warned me about other company's doing bait and switch. I need this vehicle for work. I now had to pay for a rental car and have to fly to Las Vegas from VA Beach, VA to pick up and drive the car home, which will cost me $1700 or more for airfare, hotel, food, electric car charging and will be out of work for 4-days as a result. I have email correspondence from and to this company assuring me the $1929 contract price would be the total cost to me. I've also filed formal complaints with the Attorney General in FL (where Dominick works) and NY (address on their website), as well as the US DOT and FMCSA dept of transportation.
We sincerely apologize for any frustration this experience caused. We did speak with you directly to review your concerns and ensure everything was addressed as quickly as possible. We reached an understanding after discussing the situation in detail. We appreciated the opportunity to work through this with you and are glad to see the vehicle was successfully delivered. We wish you the best going forward.

Very glad I came across RoadRunner, they helped me find a driver in one phone call after I was struggling with another provider for weeks. Not only did they a driver within a week that could transport my car from the Midwest to CA, they were able to pick up the car and deliver it earlier than the expected dates. My car was in the exact same condition upon delivery. Great service!

Road Runner Auto Transport is a den of liars and thieves. They use the New York BAIT and SWITCH Technique on potential clients. They will book at a reasonable price then weeks after booking they won’t deliver on the established pick up date. About a week after the established pick up date they will confirm an actual pick up date with a new price hundreds almost $1K more in my case….consider this review a WARNING!

I received vehicle on time and got good updates and communication from RoadRunner. Vehicle was undamaged. Used an enclosed carrier to ship my 1979 Chevrolet K-10. I will be using roadrunner again. Not much else to say.

I was extremely pleased with my quote, they had the best prices compared to other auto transporters. Also, the speed at which they transported my car was surprising in a good way, and the staff was very friendly. I had absolutely no issues, communication was excellent as well.

Poor communication prior to pickup, but very fast delivery! I hadn’t heard from anybody over the phone until 2 days before the scheduled pickup, so I was a bit nervous at first but that all changed the day of pickup! They were professional and very helpful in a short timeframe. My car arrived as I left it! I would recommend to friends shipping a car!

Do not use Roadrunner. I booked my service over a month in advance. They were a week late in picking up my car and jacked up my price by 40% and said take it or leave it. Their customer service staff was difficult to reach and when I did reach them they said they couldn't find any carriers. They also did this to a friend of mine. I've been shipping cars for 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They don't care about the customer. When they dropped off the car I received no advance notice and the driver told me if I couldn't get there (I was out of town) he was going to leave in a public parking lot.

True, I have an oversized vehicle, VW van, but RoadRunner never indicated that would be an issue and they ghosted me on the day they were supposed to ship the vehicle from the West Coast to the East Coast. Zero communication despite my calling every publicized number. Actually, it wasn’t until I sent them an email requesting a cancelation did they respond but to add insult to injury, they didn’t remove the ad from the transport board and the second company I found was held up trying to find a driver. By this time, I was already headed for the East Coast and trying to complete this on the fly. I do not recommend RoadRunner Transport services.

In this case, we were actively working to secure a carrier, but certain factors can sometimes cause delays. The original pickup was set for Stockton, CA, which is a more common meeting point for carriers, however the later change to Tuolumne, CA made it more difficult since it is not a typical route for most carriers.
We understand the situation did not move forward as expected and regret the inconvenience this caused. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our communication and process moving forward.

Sully was amazing from the first phone call to the last document being signed. He was able to get my 20 year old son approved without a cosigner for his very first car he purchased on his own. I was skeptical about using a broker to move my car from up north down to Florida. RoadRunner Transport, however, did a wonderful job with communication and made the process seamless. The price they quoted after our initial conversation was the price they charged and did not try to charge. The car was picked up the day. We agreed to use them to ship it down and arrived when they said it would. I do recommend RoadRunner.

I booked RoadRunner to move my car from St. George, UT to Seattle and was quoted a price of $975. After waiting about 10 days for a response, I was notified that a carrier had been found but the price would be $2,200. This was totally unexpected and I canceled the move with RoadRunner.

In those situations, an optional rate increase may be presented in order to help secure a carrier that can accommodate the preferred schedule. At that point, customers always have the choice to proceed at the updated rate, wait for additional carrier availability, or cancel the order at no charge, which you chose to do.

Complete joke of a transport company. I paid over 10 days ago and have had ZERO communication with anyone. I called dozens of times and emailed and no one responds. They have already charged my credit card. I would steer clear of this company. It is very sad that they take your money before they even have dates scheduled. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

No contact since I paid. Automated email and an 800 number that goes nowhere. Can’t even get them to pick up the phone at their 800 number. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I’m waiting for vehicle pickup today and have still heard nothing since I booked except on that one auto response promising to keep me posted. Then radio silent. I hope this isn’t a SCAM!

I booked Roadrunner transport after reading the good reviews. Long story short since you read my whole story on Trustpilot is They bait and switched my price at last minute. Transport was supposed to take 2 days took 5. Had zero communication from them the whole time, I had no idea for days where my car was. They state on their website they have 24/7 tracking so you can see where your car is which is false and does not exist.
I did finally get my car in good shape. I emailed, text called them dozens of times during and after the delivery. No answer, no response back, nothing! A couple days after I got my car I think I got an email or text telling my car had been delivered. Their website also pretty much says they are not responsible for anything that happens to your car and that they try to take care of things in good faith which is also not true! Basically you pay them and you get your car some time. Even after my review on another site they gave the typical not our fault not our problem response, did nothing to try to make the whole transaction fair or any reimbursement for the change in price they charged me, I should have disputed my visa transaction with them for poor service.

To clarify the timeline, you generated an instant online quote on 4/4. In the days that followed, our sales representative attempted to reach you to book that rate. Our understanding is you did not book at that time because you were waiting on funding to purchase the vehicle. You then called back on 4/9 looking to move forward with the vehicle shipment. The rate at that time was $869. Rates often change from week to week based on carrier availability and market conditions. On 4/10 you agreed to the updated rate and signed the terms of agreement, booking for the first time.
On 4/13, we secured a carrier for pickup on 4/16 with an estimated delivery of 4/18. Unfortunately, the carrier experienced unforeseen delays due to a family emergency, which impacted the original delivery timeline. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, as well as for the lack of timely communication regarding the delay.
We also regret that your experience with updates and communication during transit did not meet expectations. Your feedback has been shared with our team as we continue working to improve responsiveness and overall service.

They deserve NEGATIVE five stars. Do NOT waste your time with this company. This isn't a legitimate car transport company. They're a middleman that takes your money, hands your car off to a random carrier, and then completely checks out. There's no accountability, no coordination, and no real service. They gave me a 6 day delivery window, yet it took 13 days to get my car delivered, with zero meaningful communication the entire time. You are left in the dark, trying to track down your own car because they clearly can't.
Their tracking system is a joke. It's completely useless, just like their staff. It shows a route on a map with no real updates whatsoever. Even when I provided updates, they didn't even bother to reflect it on their own tracker. When you ask for updates, it becomes obvious that they don't even know where your car is. Responses are vague, inconsistent, or nonexistent. There is no actual visibility or control over the shipment.
Trying to contact them is another dead end. Their website claims they're open until 7pm, yet every time I called after work, they were closed. When they do "provide" you an update, you get hit with a no-reply automated email full of NOTHING. Communication between them and the actual carrier is nonexistent. I had to reach out to the carrier constantly, and it was clear they weren't receiving updates from RoadRunner either. The entire process is completely disconnected and poorly managed. And of course, once you've paid, they disappear. No followups, no status checks, no support. Nothing.
Because of their delays, I had to rely on Ubers for a week, which added unnecessary expenses on top of an already frustrating experience. I requested a partial refund to help cover costs, and they refused without hesitation. This company is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely incompetent at managing even the most basic aspects of their service. Today's word of the day is USELESS. It's RoadRunner's mission statement and core value.

I received an e-mail notification with the pickup time and communication was available until the vehicles were picked up. I received notification about the destination. So far, everything seems to be normal.

Terrible experience.... Contacted them three weeks in advance and still did not pick up vehicle when needed... Had to leave car in parking lot and go to state we were moving to and was not delivered until three days later... If you can contact a driver directly skip these rude, unprofessional con artists altogether because they will do a last second price increase on you... extra 200 for us... making it 800.00 for a 300 mile trip.... They were absolutely the worst thing about our move.
