I was moving out to California and I just didn't have time to drive my car. King of the Road Transport offered the best service for the money. A lot of other people offered a better price, but they couldn't guarantee when the truck was going to be picked up and I was leaving on a certain date. King of the Road told me that the car will be picked up at this time and date and it'll be over in California at this day and time.

I purchased a vehicle and I needed it to be shipped. I did a research and King of the Road Transport seemed to be very good. Also, I needed the car to be picked up and delivered at a certain time and they could do it. I used their online quote calculator and I was given a decent quote. In fact, I was able to obtain a quote without giving out a lot of personal information which worked out perfectly. I dealt with a young man who was very good in assisting me. He stayed up on everything and that was nice. Their service was great because they picked up the car on Saturday and the car was delivered that Tuesday morning. That wasn't bad going all the way to Mississippi from California. My first experience was great. I'll probably be using them again because I'm planning on moving and I have a few cars that I'll have to ship.

I'm in the military and I was switching duty places. I Googled and King of the Road Transport came up and had good reviews. And the quote they gave me was really nice. I thought I was going to pay way more than that as somebody I called a month before told me almost double of what they charged. And they're able to pick my car the following day so I shipped with them. The rep called me almost every single day to let me know when my car was gonna get picked up and continued to call me when my car got picked up from Houston, once it got to LA, then it got on a ship, and then where it was. I was really kept in the loop about my car because I was scared and so they made me feel comfortable about the shipping. Then I got to pick up my car early because the rep called and asked them if it was ready early. That was awesome and it has been an excellent level of service. Overall, it was fast and it was an amazing experience.

I put it on a website and King of the Road Transport was the first one to contact me. The quote they gave me was fair for the time being because it was during New Year. So I'm happy with it. Their rep would send me text messages with updates and emails as well. Overall, my experience with them has been great. They're a very responsive group and answers all of my questions.

The type of service we get from King of the Road is very professional and they're catering to our needs. They are very competitive in their pricing. Their employees were excellent and anytime I called, they were right there to answer my questions. And if something was wrong, they resolve it very quickly and most of the time, right over the phone while I'm on hold. Their service was over the top and the best I've ever used right now.

I have an email from the representative asking to confirm this because I didn’t like going to a driver with that much money especially someone who I’ve never met. He responded to my email and said, “Absolutely, not a problem.” At that time I thought that was attractive so I chose them. Their quote was pretty fair and my interactions with their rep were fine in the beginning. Then when it turned out that I wanted to pay by card, he just stopped talking to me completely. He said we had to pay in cash and that’s it. Then the driver was a bit of a mess. They also advertised door-to-door service and that is inaccurate. I had to pick up the car three miles down the road on the side of a highway. I wouldn’t recommend somebody that doesn’t deliver on their promise.

But the only concern I had was in order to sell me on the job, they told me that it would be an overnight transport. But I didn't have it for four days. If I knew it was going to be four days, I probably would have gone with someone else. But it ended up really being a non-issue in the end. I like the fact that the drivers do pre- and post-inspections and have the people at the pick-up place and the origin to sign off on it. It's good that there are also pictures that you can see. Bill, the one I was working with, was really good except for the fact that he set that expectation that the transporter didn't meet. Other than that, he was friendly and professional. So I would probably use them again.

I was shipping my Sedan from Portland to Reno. I checked the reviews online and then I used King of the Road Transport. Their quote was fair compared to the rest. The scheduling person was great and I was even texting him. The driver’s communication was nice enough, however, it was very inconsistent. We’re talking to both the driver and his dispatch. They’d say one thing, then they wouldn’t show up and then they’d say another thing. But we finally got the car. My mom and dad were waiting around all day for it and it came two days later which was real rough. Overall, it was better than it could have been.

I had my car shipped from Lehigh, FL to East Stroudsburg, PA. The quote was very responsible and the truck company hired, Jana Trucking was fabulous! It did take some time to find a trucker but, I was in no hurry especially not to risk quality of service. They made sure they hired a person with 5 star service with no history of accident, negative review, or damage to transferred goods. I wanted to get my vehicle repaired back in Minnesota with people I knew and trusted who could fix it. So, I went online and started searching for transport companies and King of the Road Transport's rep sounded more honest. Their quote was also fair. It was more than the cheapest quote but they were on time. I went online when I found out what the trucker was and the guy had some insurance issues back in '15 and I let King of the Road know about it. They sent me everything and everything was legit. The trucker guy just had some problems back a few years ago and he worked them out. So far, everybody has been great. Whatever concerns I had, their rep took care of it right away. They were there when they said the trucker was going to be there. They delivered a little hour late but they were delivering in a snowstorm so that’s fine. The truck was there in one piece and no damage. I'd recommend them to anybody.

We are glad we choose King of the Road when we decided to transport our vehicle cross-country. He was a gentleman and I don’t have any complaints. They had to pick up the car on New Year’s Eve and when they’re getting close, I got a call from them to let me know around what time they're going to be around in the house. We were able to get everything resolved and they lived up to every expectation that I had. The car was good and the delivery went fine. Everything was normal. They're very good at keeping me informed and I would recommend them to someone else.

But the driver was friendly and he told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it. He was on-time and was pretty good. There was minimum interaction. I went over a few of the reviews of past customers and that's how I based my decision of hiring King of the Road Transport. My interaction with the rep was very short and to the point. He had no complicated words and was black and white on what's gonna happen. The rep got in touch with the driver, too, and told me the earliest the driver had was Saturday. However, a few hours later, the rep called me back and said the driver could be there Friday and asked if that would work for me. My son picked the vehicle up and it was smooth service.

King of the Road's customer service made me choose them. I don't have access all the time to phone numbers to call in, but I was getting constant feedback through phone calls and emails. Their price was competitive, too. I was told that the driver would call me two hours before he would arrive because I was at work. I was an hour away from the pick up point, but the driver called me 20 minutes before arrival, so I had to rush. The driver was a little annoyed of the timing. He said, "You're not gonna make it in 20 minutes?" to which I replied "No, 'cause I was told that you will call me in two hours." There was also a bit of a language barrier 'cause he was not American. That will be my only concern, but other than that, the car came in good shape and condition and everything was in order.

Great service from King of the Road Transport. I need a car shipped from Los Angeles, California to Cincinnati. I went online to do the quote calculator and then I called them. I’ve enjoyed every minute with them. I had no problems, the rep was very good and thorough. The driver provided great service too. I spoke to him just before the car was delivered, we made a time, and he made it on time. I had recommend their service to my friends.

My vehicle broke down and I’m shipping it to my stepfather’s mechanic shop to restore it. King of the Road has really good reviews, better than many of the other companies I looked at, and they also had a Better Business Bureau accreditation. Chris, who I spoke to when I called them, was extremely helpful and has really helped me out and got me a good deal, better than most of the other quotes I’ve seen. The quote was a little more than some companies that had very bad reviews and were not accredited through the Better Business Bureau. It was even a lot less than other reputable companies that did have good reviews and accreditation. Chris also gave me an approximate timeframe and then called me back later in the day saying that he actually had somebody available to pick up the car immediately, if I was interested. I went ahead and told him "Yeah," after I had looked around a little more.

However, they weren’t able to because of circumstances with the holidays and all other stuff. But the lady tried and tried, so I gave them a shot, and they were able to get it accommodated this time. In the summer months, the quote they gave me was about the same to others, but they were better priced during the time of my move. And when the transport days had changed, they kept me updated. I was living in Hawaii and moving to Boise, Idaho, and I could have arranged it myself through Matson but the perks of the leg length from Seattle to Boise would have been easier to have a carrier. Their free quote was competitive. I met their staff when I dropped the car off and they came very near the house which was great. They were very careful in checking the vehicle out.
