I was moving across the country and I needed my vehicle shipped. The quote King of the Road gave me was pretty good and it was what I expected. Their representative was a really nice lady and so we stuck with them. The delivery guy was really good with communication. While he wasn't on time, it was totally cool because he coordinated with me and kept me posted on his whereabouts. Also, he worked with me on my load inside the car because there was a limit. He was very generous and let me move some boxes around to get things in my car before leaving. He kept in touch and let me know when he was going to drop off the car. My car arrived fine and everything was smooth. I was really happy with my experience with King of the Road.

I'm taking my son to a school in Texas and we're back and forth between a rental there and our home in California. So, I needed to ship my vehicle. When King of the Road called and left me a quote, I had a good feeling about them. Also, I felt good with their representative, Eric. I felt like he was really being honest. And I Googled the company and they have such great reviews, which was very reassuring. While we had a few challenges, I thought it's normal in something like this. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and I will be using them again. I'd definitely recommend them.

I got an email from them with the quote. Their price was right and they didn't change it. They were really helpful, knowledgeable and they were there all the time. I was especially pleased with Jeremias ** - the sales manager who did a fantastic job handling my vehicles and my time constraints. It was a stressful situation for me and he reduced that by communicating with me and finding a driver who met my needs. The drivers were also great - stayed in touch and were flexible with me. I would recommend King of the Road to anyone needing to transport a vehicle. I will absolutely use them in the future - but hopefully my car moving days are over for a bit!!

King of the Road Transport shipped my car and motorcycle because I was moving from Pennsylvania to Georgia. I searched online and they were one of those that popped up. I've called multiple places and they gave me the best bargain. The broker was willing to work with my times. He was a nice guy too. He called me directly because I kept changing the dates and he worked through it from there. He asked for the dates. He looked at them and one of them would be more because of the peak season. He called on some drivers and he looked on what dates would match and when drivers would be in the area so it was seamless. I'm so happy with them and I will use them again if I have to move.

When I first got on the phone with the rep, I was rude to her. I tend to do things where I get to be rude and light up to see if somebody gets aggressive back and if they do then to me they got something they want to hide. However, she was very polite and professional. I shared my concerns with her and she addressed my questions. We had a nice conversation and she said, "I know there's a lot of places out there. All I can ask is for you to read our reviews and have faith in us." So I said, "I'll have faith in you. Let's ship them." And I was very happy with the quote that I got.

I sent my 2015 Chrysler to my daughter and I called King of the Road. The quote I was given was great because we've been estimating ballpark with the other estimates. Also, the rep was really good and he called back to let me know what was going on. Then, the driver told me where to meet him and he was there. They did what they said they were gonna do and everything went great. It was a good experience.

I went online and looked at the different reviews. You're always a little dubious whenever you kind of turn over keys and have anything transported. But King of the Road Transport was rated very highly. I explained to their rep what I needed and he gave some dates and I chose what date. Then he said he would have somebody call to confirm and someone did. My complaint, however, was that person didn't mention that he was with King of the Road. So I had to call back the rep that I spoke with and he confirmed that the person was in fact with them. But the guy came on the day he said he would and off he went.

I spoke with someone on the phone and I got a quote that was really competitive. It was the best quote that I got. Their phone customer service was also way better than the other people I've spoken with. The specific service person I worked with, Claire, was really excellent. I discovered that it's an industry full of really aggressive personalities and she was super informative and followed through without being pushy or aggressive. It was a satisfying experience. King of the Road Transport's customer service was genuine and fantastic.

But once we figured out who was actually doing the work, they were on time and it was good.

Once I talked to somebody on the phone though and got an agent assigned to me, everything was perfectly smooth. The quote was true to what actually occurred. Also, the driver they hired was professional. They did all the background checks that I was worried about. I would use them again.

So, I did my homework, researched, and looked at who had the most consistent feedback, positive and negative and what kind of negative feedback it was.

Relocated from CT to NC. Went out of his way to find a trucker to deliver my vehicle the day I wanted it. My car was originally going to be delivered before I arrived in NC. Great customer service and the best price around. Would recommend to anyone.

Called in request for transport on a Friday hoping I could get vehicle in a week. It was delivered on the following Tuesday 2 days after contract date. Delivery came to my house on the time the drivers estimated arriving from Kentucky to my home in Colorado Springs. Wow.

I moved out of state so I needed to ship my vehicle. I used King of the Road Transport because of the price. Also, when I talked to the customer support they gave me more solid answers than others. We were in touch via email so I was getting frequent updates. However, we had a bit of confusion because the carrier driver arrived a little bit earlier than I expected, so we had to wait for a day. But other than that, it was pleasant. I'll be using them again. I have another car and I do move, so I'll consider them for the next one too.

My wife and I were quite happy with King of the Road Transport. I liked the fact that the guy who was picking it up was in the same neighborhood as where our kids were up in New York. We liked the driver as well. He called me up. All in all, they were very professional and we appreciated that. It's a good company.

My experience was not a very good one but I don't believe it was the fault of King of the Road. There were no haulers going through Southwest Virginia so my car sat for almost a month. King of the Road began using their commission after two weeks to lure someone to pick up my car. They finally tossed in their total commission to get someone to haul my car. They were great to work with and always returned my call within a few minutes. I would use them again.

Claire ** was the best person we could have asked to work with. She kept on top of the details for shipping out our SUV. We had a horrible experience with Jim ** at Best Direct Shipping, and she came in and alleviated our nightmare. She kept in constant contact and was honest and legit in her business dealings... The reviews that I’ve seen online for King of the Road Transport were good and there were minimal negative reviews compared to other transport companies. I also always look for the BBB certification that they have. When I called in, the gentleman got the address of where I needed to ship my vehicle and called me right back with a quote as well as an email. It took me a couple of days to make a decision ‘cause I was still shopping around. Their quote was more reasonable than what other transport companies were asking for.

I have a son in college in Connecticut and I needed to get a Jeep to him. I got King of the Road to ship the vehicle because of the online reviews. And the quote that I got was very fair. Before they picked the vehicle up, there were quite a few phone calls going back and forth with the friendly and helpful customer service reps. Once the vehicle was picked up, I didn't make any calls just to check on where it was, and there weren't any phone calls from them after it was delivered. On the whole, I had a good experience with King of the Road and the service that they provided to me was good. They were easy to deal with. I asked for a senior discount as I've seen that in one of the reviews and they gave me that without any issue.

My son was hired by another company in Texas and we hired King of the Road Transport to ship a car to him because of the reviews on the internet. They sent me a quotation by email and I took it. My husband had to ship an ATV purchased from Crankyape in MN to Niagara Falls, NY. After many disappointing searches and quotes, I was so glad when I found King of the Road and was happy to see all of their great reviews. They are definitely a great company to work with. King of the Road Transport did an awesome job of finding a carrier for us. Their price was fair and the communication was great! Since we live in Canada, the timing of delivery had to be a bit flexible so we could cross the border and meet the driver in proper time, which wasn't a problem to figure out. Erik and the rest of the team did a fantastic job of keeping us updated on the status. I received a phone call every day to keep me up to date on how their driver search was going. Once my delivery was picked up, I had it within 2 days! Very professional and I will definitely be recommending them to everyone.

I hired KOTR to find a reliable trucking firm to deliver my truck from Texas to Missouri. We came to an agreement, and money was exchanged. My rep was great to work with, returning calls very promptly. Then we entered the twilight zone. The delivery driver was a no show. No contact for days. My rep helped me contact them, finally, and they gave another delivery date. That date came and went without notice, so we contacted them again. "Sorry, it's going to be next week before we can deliver." Then, notice was given that the driver was hospitalized, so more delay.

First of all let me start saying, I did not know in where or who to call to get my car transported to one state to another. But thankfully Mike from the company guide me through the whole process. They didn't push me nor made decisions for me. After speaking with so many companies, I knew "King of the Road Transport" was the company I should hire to get my car transported to my home state. After signing their contract and getting the full details of the pricing it was very reasonable. But then this one company called me (We Will Transport It), started to bother me with numerous phone calls and harassing me that the company I had signed a contracted was a scam and blah blah blah. I talked back to the King of the road and they started to take the whole situation serious and they had my back through the whole process. I would highly recommend these guys.

I needed to ship a vehicle from Colorado down to Florida so I searched online and I saw that King of the Road Transport had a good rating. They gave me a good quote. However, I was planning on doing things a month down the road so it ended up being off. I ended up doing $50 higher than the original quote, but it was okay because the gentleman thought it might take too long for someone to pick the car up. I asked him if there were any other charges but he said they were only getting $100 and the rest goes to the driver.

I bought a vehicle and wanted it shipped from Florida to Las Vegas. I previously went to two other transport companies but very quickly, I learned the brokers are the same. They promise the car will be moved on a certain day but they never do. I paid King of the Road Transport $100 more for they promised the vehicle will be moved on Saturday. When I told the manager the car's not moved, he said the driver was a little bit late which he should have told me in the beginning. They used the same driver and moved it on Monday. So I paid $100 more for nothing. I was not happy with that but I'm happy with the driver. He called me and said he'll pick up the car. He also called me before he reached the village, after he put the car on the trailer and two or three more times on the way from Florida to Vegas.

I purchased a vehicle off of eBay and used King of the Road to ship it based on their initial responses. The customer service rep gave me a price, which seemed reasonable and was within the ballpark of everybody else’s. He returned phone calls and messages which I liked. However, the service itself was not that great. The vehicle looked like they had something inside the car. There was some marks on the leather and then the vehicle was very filthy. It was an open trailer so that’s okay, but as far as putting stuff inside, that wasn't something I expected.

I worked with King of the Road Transport a couple of years ago and had a good experience talking to Kirsten. I used them again when I shipped my mother-in-law's 2007 Ford Five Hundred down to Florida. I spoke directly with Bill and our interaction was excellent. It was nice and easy with him, and I have his direct contact number. It was a quick and efficient experience and they'll be doing a return shipping for me, too, when they come back in March.

A lot of other people offered a better price, but they couldn't guarantee when the truck was going to be picked up and I was leaving on a certain date. King of the Road told me that the car will be picked up at this time and date and it'll be over in California at this day and time.

Once I had it set up and they found a dispatcher, I then coordinate with them. The dispatcher then picked up my car and then delivered it on the day that I wanted it to be delivered. Overall, they were efficient and were good value for money and their service was satisfactory.

I moved to Hawaii and needed to ship my car. King of the Road Transport gave me the best pricing. Someone reached out to me with a quote that was way cheaper than everything else and it came straight from Houston so it was awesome. And they're able to pick my car the following day so I shipped with them. The rep called me almost every single day to let me know when my car was gonna get picked up and continued to call me when my car got picked up from Houston, once it got to LA, then it got on a ship, and then where it was. I was really kept in the loop about my car because I was scared and so they made me feel comfortable about the shipping. Then I got to pick up my car early because the rep called and asked them if it was ready early. That was awesome and it has been an excellent level of service. Overall, it was fast and it was an amazing experience.

I had to pick up the car three miles down the road on the side of a highway. I wouldn’t recommend somebody that doesn’t deliver on their promise.

But the only concern I had was in order to sell me on the job, they told me that it would be an overnight transport. But I didn't have it for four days. If I knew it was going to be four days, I probably would have gone with someone else. But it ended up really being a non-issue in the end. I like the fact that the drivers do pre- and post-inspections and have the people at the pick-up place and the origin to sign off on it. It's good that there are also pictures that you can see. Bill, the one I was working with, was really good except for the fact that he set that expectation that the transporter didn't meet. Other than that, he was friendly and professional. So, I went online and started searching for transport companies and King of the Road Transport's rep sounded more honest. Their quote was also fair. It was more than the cheapest quote but they were on time. I went online when I found out what the trucker was and the guy had some insurance issues back in '15 and I let King of the Road know about it. They sent me everything and everything was legit. The trucker guy just had some problems back a few years ago and he worked them out. So far, everybody has been great. Whatever concerns I had, their rep took care of it right away. They were there when they said the trucker was going to be there. They delivered a little hour late but they were delivering in a snowstorm so that’s fine. The truck was there in one piece and no damage. I'd recommend them to anybody.

He had no complicated words and was black and white on what's gonna happen. The rep got in touch with the driver, too, and told me the earliest the driver had was Saturday. However, a few hours later, the rep called me back and said the driver could be there Friday and asked if that would work for me. My son picked the vehicle up and it was smooth service.

King of the Road's customer service made me choose them. I don't have access all the time to phone numbers to call in, but I was getting constant feedback through phone calls and emails. Their price was competitive, too. I was told that the driver would call me two hours before he would arrive because I was at work. I was an hour away from the pick up point, but the driver called me 20 minutes before arrival, so I had to rush. The driver was a little annoyed of the timing. He said, "You're not gonna make it in 20 minutes?" to which I replied "No, 'cause I was told that you will call me in two hours." King of the Road has really good reviews, better than many of the other companies I looked at, and they also had a Better Business Bureau accreditation. Chris, who I spoke to when I called them, was extremely helpful and has really helped me out and got me a good deal, better than most of the other quotes I’ve seen. The quote was a little more than some companies that had very bad reviews and were not accredited through the Better Business Bureau. It was even a lot less than other reputable companies that did have good reviews and accreditation. Chris also gave me an approximate timeframe and then called me back later in the day saying that he actually had somebody available to pick up the car immediately, if I was interested. I went ahead and told him "Yeah," after I had looked around a little more.

I was moving from state to state and I've tried King of the Road prior to moving and they tried every bit to get me off the ground. However, they weren’t able to because of circumstances with the holidays and all other stuff. But the lady tried and tried, so I gave them a shot, and they were able to get it accommodated this time. The carrier driver was also accommodating and told me how it’s gonna go down. He reassured me that my vehicle’s gonna get at where I'm moving at a certain date, which it was.

In the summer months, the quote they gave me was about the same to others, but they were better priced during the time of my move. And when the transport days had changed, they kept me updated. I was worried in the beginning, but with the way things turned out and after meeting the driver that picked up the car, I felt very secure and happy about sending it. After having dealt with all the other people who were harassing me, I felt very comfortable with her. The price was not the most expensive and not the cheapest but it was in range and sounded fair so I went ahead with her. I still got harassing calls from other vendors and they were aggressively intimidating. They were mad at me and badmouthing King of the Road but I told them I made my decision.

They gave me the quote over the phone, and the price was reasonable. I had to go back to the source person to begin with because the guy who was supposed to come out didn't show up. So, it took a little bit of back and forth with the customer service reps to get the matter straightened out, but they took care of it. Nobody but the guy's family could find him. Finally, I checked with her and with three days before it was scheduled to go, finally the assistant contacted me, I got it paid and everything worked okay. If I hadn’t contacted them, I don’t know if they would have contacted me or if my car would have actually be shipped.
