    eShip transported my daughter's car home from college, from North Carolina to Florida, and the whole process took a couple of weeks. Aside from this time, I've used eShip before and they were very responsive. I could reach them almost anytime seven days a week through the direct cellphone service of the person who runs it, and that was the reason I used them.

    I was moving cross country from Oregon to Ohio. I spoke with one other company but ended up using eShip to ship my Ford Focus. eShip had better reviews online and I liked Mary Ann, the woman I spoke with. She seemed more of a straight shooter and less slimy than the other guy I talked to. I, however, didn't realize the timeline of how the carriers were chosen. I'm a type A and better communication would have been appreciated. I had to call and ask what was going on instead of them telling me who would do what and when I could expect a call.

    The guy who picked up the car called me when he was about 20 minutes away. He was very nice and personable. But it was interesting that he marked the car as being in poor condition, even though the car is fairly new and in good shape. I felt like that was a CYA thing, saying it's in poor condition in case something happens so they can say that it was in poor condition when they picked it up. It made me raise my eyebrows, but the pickup went smoothly.

    A woman from eShip called me and said that the carrier was due to deliver my car on the 22nd. I said that was not what was agreed on. I had told Mary Ann that I wasn't getting into town until the 24th of May and they could not deliver the car before then because there would be no one there to receive the car. She said they would write that in the contract. Evidently, the transporter was being difficult and saying that was when they were delivering the car. It was an extra snag that I can't be trying to deal with while driving a 22-foot truck. They rerouted everything and delivered all the other cars, then came back so it worked out, but it was frustrating. All in all, the transport took 10 days, from the 17th to the 27th. And I ended up having to go without the car for an extra three days. Nevertheless, I had a relatively easy experience with eShip. I have another car to transport and will probably use them again.

    My husband has a new job and we had to move from California to Florida. We looked at 10 different moving companies but we decided on eShip because their online reviews are really high. Craig from eShip then called me and told me that I had to make the down payment and that they were looking for the distributors. However I had issues finding good distributors that wanted to drive, so the process was delayed for a week and a half. But they finally found someone who was willing to drive the car back that far and the car got shipped. And the distributor was really nice. He was very communicative with me about where we needed to meet, when he was gonna expect me, and if he was 100 miles away. So it was good. The delivery took seven days and my car arrived without damage.

    I had a nice experience with eShip. We were moving out and I wanted my Ford to be shipped from California to Tennessee. At that time, I read their reviews on Yelp and it's fine compared to the four others I looked into. Furthermore, eShip's sales rep was good. Her name is Anna and the vehicle was dropped off real quick. It was within five days from California to Tennessee so it was great. While everything's been smooth and good, it was a bit expensive because originally I was quoted for one thing, and because they knew I was searching online, they gave me one quote. And then when eShip contacted and made the phone call, somebody told me that they're gonna charge extra $200 cause there's a lot that they didn't quote. And this is something I wasn't expecting, but because I was in a hurry and had to get my car shipped, I told them that if they didn't change the quote, they would have been better.

    I was moving and getting my Jeep Grand Cherokee shipped from Austin to Maine was super fast and easy. I talked to five companies, but I liked Mark Anthony from eShip. The service including the insurance I would be getting were clear. He answered all my questions and was available whenever I needed him. He worked with me to get to the best prices and we were pretty close from the beginning. The next day, my car was picked up by an 18-wheeler and delivered before the estimated time.     I needed to move a vehicle cross country and I looked at about three different companies. I liked eShip’s ratings from ConsumerAffairs and the customer service was more personable and a little bit better, too. eShip was understanding and was able to provide the service and information that I required at the time. I've never transported a car before and they met my expectations of making it an easy process.

    I was in a little bit of a time crunch with the schedule myself, so I was particular on the date but there were no issues there. There was this guy who was in charge of the driver and I would call him and we would get off the phone together. Then he would call his driver and then he’d call me, then that manager would call me back. The delivery took about a week and I even picked the vehicle up a day early because I arrived a day earlier. The vehicle was a brand new truck, so I was worried that there would be any dents but there weren't any when it arrived. It didn’t even have any mileage on it just for moving the truck off, so that was a relief. I would recommend eShip.

    My daughter was going to school in Arizona and needed a car. I didn't want to drive the car so I selected eShip because of their rating on the Better Business Bureau. We started exchanging email. I got a quote from them and wound up speaking to one of the principals there who walked me through the whole process. They were very responsive on the phone and gave a degree of confidence that they were providing good customer service. My daughter got a call and was told what time and what street to go to that the truck would be. However, they were off by a couple of hours.     I was moving for work and I had originally signed up with a different carrier. However, there was lack of communication and they didn't pull through. On the other hand, I felt like I could directly talk with Craig from eShip who helped me out. So, I chose eShip. Craig was always available. Even if I just texted him, he would answer really promptly. Also, the person who picked up my car, Dominic, gave me communication when he was going to arrive. Whenever I was kinda unsure whether they were gonna pull through, eShip's transporter would communicate with me what the issues were that's holding up certain things. Even with dropping off my car, the date that I was given by the sales team was gonna be later than I had hoped. But, Dominic got it on the time three days earlier than what the sales team had told me so that was great.

    I would pay more money just so that I can get like ample communication as to where things are and what's been holding certain things. It wasn't like eShip was hiding anything whereas other contractors were beating around the bush. I would definitely recommend eShip. I've told a friend who was in the same situation as I was in to go with this company and that they were available up to late hours.

Although they had some difficulty scheduling a driver they could be sure would get it no later than we indicated it had to be picked up, they were easy to work with by way of phone and email to get the problem resolved.     I had a satisfactory experience on both occasions that we used eShip and I'd definitely recommend them. We had used them to transport my daughter's car before.     We moved and I was shipping a Jaguar for about 1,350 miles. I looked at around five different transport companies and one company that I had chosen didn’t come through. eShip was able to come through at the last minute for me. The interactions I had with the sales team at eShip were great. I worked with Craig and he was great to work with. He was very responsive when I had questions and during the transport. The vehicle was delivered to my door, very carefully taken off the truck and driven into my driveway after I had inspected it. Everything was fine.

    The transport took about a week, although it was mostly because I couldn’t take delivery immediately. I had a specific date at which time I could begin taking delivery and they delivered it on that precise date. It was a good experience and I would use eShip again if I needed to transport a vehicle.     Ridiculous company!!! Estimated delivery was 6-22. Was told that the driver would be here at 6-7 pm. After asking for an update (because no one does so) I was told he had tire trouble and I received a picture. I was told he will be there the next afternoon. At this time (6-23) after asking for another update I was told 6-7pm he is still having tire trouble. Maybe the company should invest in better equipment after charging premium prices for their deliveries. Here it is 5:45 pm and never received an additional update. Horrible service period. I have contact the company that I purchased the vehicle from to make them aware.

    I was moving across country for a job and eShip's reviews were consistently positive. A person gave me a quote and our communication was easy. They were pretty responsive. But where I lived in Philadelphia was a congested street so the actual carrier couldn't physically make it to my street. So I had to meet the driver in another location. It ended up being fine but I got the call within 24 hours, which was a little bit last minute. I wish I had known because I had made arrangements on the day of to meet people after. it made things a little bit inconvenient but besides that, there was no other issue. I hear a lot of negative things with cross country moves so the fact that there were no issues was a really good thing. The transport took one week and the entire experience was smooth.     It's taken me a few days to try and figure out exactly what to say here because there are a lot of aspects I need to cover. First of all I'll start with saying the customer service here really is exceptional. I had a lot of questions and the people I contacted were always very quick to answer, even outside of office hours. However, everything that was quoted to me when I booked this service ended up being extremely different. The price went up by almost $300, which I was told was because I booked a month in advance and the rates went up, but I don't know about that. They weren't able to pick up or deliver on the days I provided to them (weeks in advance btw) and that made the whole process very inconvenient.

    Also, there was very little communication between the carrier and eShip. Upon pick up the carrier was contacting me telling me they might have to cancel my pick up and my contact at eShip had no idea about that. The car is perfectly fine and made it to my friend's house okay so that's the important part I guess. But if you're someone who is easily stressed out and don't like last-minute planning I wouldn't go the route of shipping your car.

Carrier had truck issues and made you aware before us so nobody was waiting around, once we found out we handled immediately and I am glad car and all worked out perfect from there. And in regards to price as we always state, your price is not guaranteed until driver accepts your order, booking early does not guarantee early season rate, this is reason why we dont charge upfront deposit until your driver is secured, at that point your dates and rates are guaranteed.     I purchased a sedan out-of-state, so I needed it shipped. I looked at four to six different transport companies before choosing eShip. I liked their customer service. Everyone was really friendly and got back to me really quickly. I received an email with the quote after I requested it. Then, I received a text message from one of the salespersons there. The gentleman called me up and we coordinated a time because I was at work. He scheduled a delivery time and I let him know that I wanted to inspect the car once I got it since I purchased the car unseen. I spoke with him a day before and on the day of delivery.

    I requested the transport on a Friday, made the payment and the estimate was given. They weren’t gonna pick the car up until Monday but they picked it up on Saturday which was incredible. They came on Saturday around noon at the dealership, but the transport company had a minor vehicle error with their truck, so they had to get repairs. The director manager let me know the situation with his trucker and I also spoke with the actual deliverer. They were down Sunday and Monday and they delivered the car on Wednesday.

    The vehicle was in great condition. Once I got it, the only thing that I could see that was wrong was it was just dirty and that was from it being an open transport situation. I took it for a wash and it was great. The service and the staff members of eShip were all great and they guaranteed exactly what they said they were going to. I'm happy about that. Overall, this company was amazing.

    Charged my credit card $250. They are only a broker, not an actual trucking company. They post on a board as do others. They said no charges until delivered, but charged my card immediately. After failed to deliver as promised never removed charges. I had to file thru my credit card, took months. They blamed them... but made no effort to correct charges.

WE absolutely did not charge your credit card upfront, we charge deposit after your driver is secured, which we had done for you until we found as you know that he broke down, once we could not find driver upon your request a refund was processed.     We were on a military move and we needed a transport service to a place that's 1,700 miles away. I did a Google search and eShip came up so I researched them through the BBB and Consumer Reports, and eShip seemed to have one of the best reports. I sent them a quote request form and then they contacted me back with a quote by email. And then I called them on the phone and we set things up. We met the driver at our house and he picked up the vehicle. When we first contacted each other, I asked for an enclosed shipment and a hard body shipment. And the driver told me it was a hard body but when it got there, it was soft. But it worked out okay. And he said he would be here either on Wednesday or Thursday. We called him up on Wednesday morning and he was in our area within five hours. And he delivered the vehicles with no issues.

    Most of the other companies seemed untrustworthy. They started spamming me with calls and texts once I tried get a quote. Just from my research, I found a bunch of companies who would quote you really low and then raise the price. In comparison, I saw good reviews for eShip online and I heard some good referrals from a friend. I requested a quote online and then they reached out to me. They said, ”We want to confirm that you're going from here to here,” and then they quoted me. It was straightforward.

Afterwards, the sales team provided me with the driver's number and told me to reach out to him if I needed anything, but I didn’t. And on both pick-up and delivery, the driver reached out to me. The vehicle was dirty when it arrived but other than that, it was in the same condition as when I left it. I was happy with the experience and I would suggest that others use eShip.

I called Anna and she first said that was the deposit (look at their ad no deposit required) then she said it was her commission. Smarted off and asked if I thought she was working for free.     I was moving and I used eShip to transport my car from California to Connecticut, and my experience was awesome. I looked at four other transport companies, and they just asked for email and then told me that they'd get back to me, but Mark from eShip was already hands-on. We were texting back and forth and calling, and I knew I was in good hands. The quote I got was good. We set out a price and he put it out there, and then when he had any bites, then he'd let me know. And we got one at a really good price and I thought it was too good to be true, but it ended up being real, so I was stoked about it.

    They said the timeline would be seven to ten days and they gave a window in case there'd be a bad weather. But they were fast and took six days. When the vehicle was delivered, it was in perfect condition. It was on a big truck so they couldn't come on the residential street, but they said to meet at a local Walmart because it has a bigger lot. If I were to go in the situation again, I'd probably go straight to the shipper. But still by far, eShip is the best broker I've gone through.

    I needed to get a car from California to Tennessee. When I was getting quotes, however, I made a mistake. I thought it was just a process where you get different quotes and then talk. Now, apparently, you get a quote and they put on the board and say that they’ve quoted you. The guy from eShip told me how it works. He also told me that I was being blocked by the shippers who had put my name up on the board. I then asked the shippers to have my name taken down and they never did. But the eShip guy called and told me he took it off the board and he had somebody that he had dealt with before who could drive my car and everything worked out great. He also dealt with my parameters, when the car needed to be picked up and then delivered and he was able to work with everything. I had a very positive experience with him.

    The delivery happened three days after the car was picked up and it went well once we figured out where in the very large Walmart parking lot the driver was. We were there early and didn’t see any trucks anywhere. And then he finally called and asked us if we were there and told us that he was between the two buildings. So, we drove around and we found him. He was there earlier than I expected and he already had the car off. I then paid him and he gave me the keys. It worked out with my timeframe and everything very well. Also, the car looked great. I've had a very positive experience with eShip and if I had to ship a car over again, I'd contact them first.

    I needed to move my car over 2,000 miles from Arizona to New Jersey. I had used a different transporter to do the same thing before. That transporter was okay but I wanted to change. Since eShip was a family-owned company, that drew me in. Their representative was friendly and she was open to answering any questions. Every time I called her, she was available or immediately got back to me.

    However, the delivery of the vehicle was my biggest issue. The gentleman who came to my home and put the car on the transporter didn't speak English very well and I had a little problem understanding him. When he called a couple of days before he came, he was just checking on the dates and since I didn't understand him I was trying to confirm the day he was coming. So, I called eShip, apologized and then their rep called the delivery guy or someone else and got me a firm date.

    So then, when he got here in New Jersey, I had him to drop my car off. I suggested, because of the size of the size of the transport, that he pull into a shopping center, where there’d be plenty of room for him to park and he didn’t do that. Instead, he pulled over at U.S. Route 9. It was kind of busy but he just pulled the transporter onto the side of the road and backed my car out and then walked over to me.

    I asked what he was doing and he looked at me like he wanted to give me my keys. I said that he had to pull my car off the road so that I could look at it and make sure everything was okay. I didn't want to blame everything on him not being able to understand but still, he pulled my car over. I took a look at it and thought it was filthy, it was fine. I know they subcontract for drivers to transport the cars and I just probably got somebody who either didn’t understand or didn’t master the language very well. Still, I would definitely use eShip again but I would definitely tell them to get me a driver that speaks English.

    We moved across country from Connecticut to California and eShip's customer service made me go with them after I looked at six other companies. A couple of the companies that I interacted with was very clear that their selling feature was price exclusively. There were several quotes and the majority of the quotes were significantly cheaper than what I had gotten from eShip. But they were also significantly cheaper than what I was expecting and what I had found just doing a little bit of research online with the typical market value. I was concerned with those companies that they were just gonna sign and loop me in and then, just by giving me the lower price quote upfront and then end up gving me a high cost in the end. That kind of turned me off from a couple of them.

    Some of the companies, after talking to me, called me once or twice a day for the next couple of days, pestering me and asking me who I was going with and if I'd changed my mind go back to them and that was just annoying. Whereas with eShip, I just talked with Ana one time. She gave me what I thought to be a reasonable quote. It was my 2nd most expensive quote but still in the ball park of all the other ones and I thought that to be more reasonable. She also gave me her personal cell phone number and texted me after we finished talking, saying she could help me with anything I needed anytime I did. That was the last I heard from her, which was great because that's just what I wanted. I just wanted somebody that I could talk to when I needed to.

    I ended up paying about $300 more than the initial quote but at the end of the day I had already committed to them and I don't know what it would have been like with any other company. But the timing after we had already committed was what it was and we were kind of down to the wire with getting the vehicle out in time anyway. I had given their rep a very clear timeline upfront when we needed the truck to be in California. The pick-up in Connecticut was immaterial. We could have had them pick it up at any time but it needed to be in California on a specific date. And that was kind of a pain going through that with her.

    We ended up having to go with a much more expensive shipping company just to get that timeline to work. I had been very upfront with her about that which is not necessarily her fault and it's based on availability. But the drop off date was my number one criteria and I didn't care about anything else. But other than that, interacting with her was nothing but positive.

    The shipping only took three days and I like the driver a lot with the exception that he dented my roof and he didn't tell me about it. We only noticed the next day because he dropped it off at night and we realized in the daylight that he had dented the roof. I filed an insurance claim and it's been three days since I've heard from them. But that has nothing to do with eShip and I like the driver otherwise. He was accommodating and he picked my car up while I wasn't even there. He dropped it off at our hotel out in California because we were checking into a hotel the first night and we didn't get our lease until the next day. We didn't have to even get a rental car, which was really nice of him.

He was also very helpful when there were problems, quick to respond and he tried to help us and figure things out. But we were not aware that cash on demand was required at the time of delivery. We were not prepared to pay $1,400 in cash and the driver needed to take the vehicle to Washington to remark the car. It was about 5:00 in the evening where banks are closed so we figured out a strategy to pay the balance. There was poor communication and that information, which is important, was not brought to our attention before we signed the contract.

    The pickup was not super smooth but it was not as bad as the delivery which was poor. The driver was not very good and his GPS was not taken to the correct address. I was on the phone with him, getting him point by point direction from where he was which was 10 minutes down the road and we finally figured it out but it took nearly an hour and a half. And then during delivery, they met up there and it was a major landmark in the city so it wouldn’t be hard but the delivery time that was provided was incorrect so there was a little bit of waiting around.

    This whole industry is a little bit complicated and also, they're not directly responsible for the vehicle. So, people should research and really understand what issue they’re getting into and be sure of how the full system works. The customer service part of it was good and I understand that drivers are different. I may have gotten just a not great driver but I'm not confident that there was a better option.

They would be responsible for anything that happens to the car plus, it was $100 less. It was fine dealing with the sales team but I had an issue with one of the drivers. He had a delivery time and he couldn’t make it before that and the guy who got the car in Oregon got upset. It was a little go back and forth thing, but they promised me they’d give me another driver and they did. Still, they did well in communicating with me because they would call me and let me know the status and what was going on. About the price, some quotation was lower but then, I didn’t feel like trusting my car into another company. eShip is a good company, it has more liability. If eShip does it with a third party, it’s eShip’s problem, not my problem. So if I had a problem, I would call eShip. The process as it started, was okay. It was between me and the company. But then, in the middle, you call the driver and say, “Hey, are we still on schedule today?” Also, in today’s day, everybody uses a GPS so I don’t need to get exactly the location of the driver. It would be good if I could have a way to track where the truck was and I would have a better estimate without having to call all day.

    I moved in from Michigan to Houston, Texas and among the six transport companies I looked into, eShip was responsive and they would pick up on time.     We were moving from Boston to California, which was a long move. I looked into three transport service providers but I decided to use eShip because of Maryann, the lady who helped me. She was really nice and professional. Also I got quoted some good prices. During the pick up, I forgot to bring cash and the driver was really kind and understanding. He was also professional.     eShip seemed to have good reviews online and the quote the cheapest. Customer service was initially very pleasant to talk to. About a week before the earliest pickup date, I had to make a call and follow up because I was never contacted about an assigned carrier. I was told not to worry at all. When the agent finally contacted me, she said the driver she found had to pick up the car a day earlier than the earliest pickup available date, and it would cost me considerably more. When I said that is not going to work because of my budget and schedule (thinking what the point is to give them the earliest available date), I was given a lecture: "Look - this is my job to give you all the options, and your job is to say yes or no, and that's all there is to it." OK. So I said No.

    Then I never heard back anything. The day before our earliest available pickup date, we still had not heard back so we finally decided to go with another company. Then I called to cancel the booking with eShip. It was a different agent who picked up the call, and said now all of the sudden, they had a driver who was available to pick up on my preferred date of pickup. I was a bit frustrated because they never called to let me know there was a driver for the date I wanted, and they only told me at the time when I called to cancel. The agent wanted to call me back after she contacted this new driver, but I respectfully asked to just go ahead and cancel because I was just hoping to bring my business to someone else.

The last day we found 1 and you called us before we were able to update you. Evertime you called for a status or update we have someone avail 7 days a week to answer and assist you.     I recently PCSed to Kansas City and the government only pays me to move one car. I have two cars and I needed to move them both. I got eShip to transport my Dodge Avenger Sedan after looking at five different transport companies. eShip was upfront with the pricing, unlike with the other company that quoted me one price and then on the day of pickup, it was me something else.     Out of the three transport companies that I looked at, eShip was the one who said that they could respond the quickest.     There really are no words to describe how fantastic our transaction was! I spent days researching auto transport companies and read so many scary reviews and horror stories. The reps were good and very professional and that was something I appreciated.

    However, the transport team couldn’t pick up the car where I live. I have to drive 25 miles somewhere else to where they were doing another pickup. Originally, eShip gave me a price and then they wanted to charge me. When it all came down, they said they talked to the person that’s actually moving the car and it’s gonna be $100 more. My contract said there’s no hidden fees. So I told the transport team that eShip issued a hidden fee and they started arguing.     I needed to ship my vehicle home to Haiti and eShip did a good job. There was no scratch in the car. The price is too high though. When I talked to the driver, eShip only paid him $400 and yet they charged me $700 and that was too much. I’m new in the game and I didn’t know that. But I’m okay with it because they helped me. I needed that car to go a lot of ways and money was not a problem. If I keep putting four or five cars though and eShip adds to all the cars $200, it is gonna be a lot of money. Also, they lied to me one time because they told me that the car was gonna arrive on a Friday, then I received my car on Monday. Then they still charged me the same price.

    I purchased a truck in Arizona and I needed it moved to South Carolina. I talked to several companies before I had gotten to eShip and the guy that I dealt with was very informative and helpful. He went out of his way to tell me the process, what to expect, and how it worked. I was just calling and getting information, trying to figure out how it worked and one of the people I talked to moved ahead and listed me to be picked up. We didn't even tackle the contract so I went ahead from there.

    I liked that instead of having to call a number and getting, "If you want this, push this button," the individual that helped me gave me his cell phone number. And he not only called me with information, every time I called, he would pick up. He told me that he worked until 10 o'clock at night so it was just normal hours and he seemed to work on it fairly constantly. Also, I found out that even though my vehicle was just a pick-up truck, it was too big to go on a car carrier. He took it personally and within one day from the time we started, he had a car carrier lined up. And it went on a standard 53-foot flatbed that you see on the roads instead of a car trailer like you see with a bunch of cars on it. It arrived with a freight carrier on the back of a flatbed. During the pick-up, he kept me informed, and it just happened that I bought the truck from a really nice guy and shipped me some parts by putting it in the cabin of the truck.

    The driver was nice and very good. He called me and I said he can bring it to my house, but he would be stopping on the side of the road. He said that if it was 45 miles/hour, the police will get him if he does that. Then I recommended meeting at the Barlow parking lot. I met him there, backed the truck off the trailer and gave him a cashier's check for the trip.

    I move seasonally from Florida to New York and I need to transport three cars. I looked into two companies before choosing eShip. The first one didn’t have any transport available while the second was a scam. I got charged but they never called me back. I tried to call them back and reach them. I had to go out to process in the bank to cancel the payment they took. The guy from eShip was very helpful all the way through from when we made the reservation until they picked up the cars and until they delivered. But I knew that there was a road and they have to stop so I wasn’t expecting the cars to be delivered exactly the same date they gave me. But it got delivered the day after, which was fine.

    The transport took three days from the time they picked up the vehicle to when it was delivered and the cars were fine when it arrived. I transport vehicles every six months. I told eShip I have a few friends and they also do the same thing. So, I will give them eShip’s contact in case they need it. eShip is a great company. I have a very good experience especially because I have done this in the last two years. So, everything was good including the process.

    I bought a classic car up on eBay and had it shipped from California to Michigan. The sales team at eShip was friendly. However, there were a couple of mishaps that I had. I was promised a couple of dates when the car was going to get shipped and then it got switched. And it was hard for my work schedule ‘cause I work a really weird job so it’s hard for me to miss work. So, I missed a day to be there when the car would be shipped to my house. But then the day before, I ended up getting a call that the car was coming a different day. It was frustrating.

    I told them that and they told me that they gave me a 48-hour window. But I spoke with a gentleman and he told me that the car would be coming the day he told me, instead of the other day. So, I said, “I know it’s a 48-hour window but could you call the delivery driver and ask him if he's going to make it this day or that day? Give me a better estimate of when it’s going to come.” And they told me that it was going to come the day it didn’t come. I also wish I would have been in the know of where the car was or where it was located so I could get a better idea of when it was going to come. It was hard to get a hold of them because they told me I could call or text. Sometimes I would call and I wouldn’t get a response back for 24 hours. Or if I texted sometimes, it took quite a while to get back to. I felt like once I paid the deposit and once they got some of my money, they just threw me to the side.

    Initially when I got in contact with the broker from eShip, he gave me a quote of what the price was going to be. And then he said they do an auction with delivery companies and somebody could take the bid at $1100. Then he told me that it could take a little while, and I didn’t hear from them for about five days. It was on the 5th or 6th day that I finally called and said, “What’s going on? I need the car shipped because the guy I bought it from didn’t have the space in his shop anymore.” They told me it might be better if I increase my bid. I didn’t want to do that because I felt like what I was paying was sufficient. Another company quoted me $100 lower but I went with eShip because of their good reviews online.

    This was my first time using a broker, ‘cause usually I went directly with the shipping company. But from what I read online, sometimes a broker can be better because of their networking so they can get a lot of different delivery companies and sometimes it can be delivered quicker with a broker. But from my experience, I'll just go directly with the company rather than to a broker next time.

    I was relocating out of state and I needed to ship a personal vehicle. I looked up a couple of companies and I went with eShip since my fiance used them. We were both relocating and we ended up going with the same company even though we left separately and at different times. It was easier that way and their reps were good. We understand that eShip is a broker and it was different trying to work with them instead of directly with the shipper. But the driver that picked up my vehicle was fantastic. He got my car here quickly and safely.

    We found in our experience, after many years of moving all over the world, that the shipping industry is all just a big racket. We got bullied a lot of times and in this particular move, we ended up moving very far at about an hour and ten minutes away from the closest major city. So, finding someone that would deliver our vehicles here for convenience's sake instead of us meeting the vehicle in the city was a challenge. We were pleased with what eShip did of for us but we were kind of at the mercy of the industry when we were trying to move and that was whether we were shipping our belongings or our vehicles. We didn't like that yet we’ve done it many times. We got a mixed bag of crooks and people who were honest. And most of the time, they were crooks. So, we’re very disenchanted with moving at this point. There needs to be more stringent regulations when it comes to moving in general.

    I bought a parts car, an ’84 Cadillac, in Arizona and purchased it to bring it up to Canada. I looked at four transport services and went with eShip as they would go to the place that I had the car stored at. I worked with the guy who owned it and it went very good. He had somebody there within three days, which was under timeline and he managed to meet that and not exceed. It was great.

    The transporter was really good too. He did some time changes which didn’t work for me but was able to accommodate my changes as well. We communicated and we met with no problem. I had it shipped from Kingman, Arizona up to Pembina, North Dakota, to the border. At that point, I picked up the car. I got my own trailer, drove it on to the trailer, and then brought it over the border myself. It was picked up on a Thursday and I had it home in Morden by Monday night. I got that in five days and didn't see any damage that had been done to do it. The parts I wanted were intact. eShip was way more expensive than the other companies that offered us about less than two-thirds of the price that I paid, but it was good and reliable. It was a good communication and I got value for my money.

    I purchased a new vehicle and I needed it shipped from Indiana to South Carolina. I searched the internet and put a bid out there, and a number of different brokers called. The reviews that I saw on eShip were fairly positive so when their sales consultant called, I ended up going with him. Initially, I felt that he was underpricing or overpricing the cost of the shipment and underbidding the job out to the shipper. When we had gotten that corrected, I thought that the total experience was good.

    I had gotten a call when the driver picked up the vehicle both from the gentleman who shipped it to me and from the trucking company’s office. They had taken control of it and a few days later, I received a callback saying they were gonna be in the state of South Carolina and they gave me a pretty good window of time that they would deliver the car. The trucking company was the best end of the experience. We locked it in on a Saturday, then they picked it up on Tuesday and delivered it to me on Friday. So the transport took less than a week.     I was looking for a reputable company to ship a car halfway across the country. The origin location was a small town. I had done my research and looked into a few companies and got quotes from each.     I moved an old Mustang about 2,900 miles and got eShip to do it. Although their price was a little more than the other company that I was looking at, I liked eShip's website. I called up and talked to an agent and the price sounded reasonable. When my brother-in-law accepted the delivery, he took pictures and it seemed like everything was okay. I transported that same car about 1,500 miles eight years prior and had a very bad experience. The shipper tied it down improperly then they had a lift failure on the truck and did about $4,500 worth of damage to the car. This time, there was one minor scratch, which with open transport, it was probably just a stone that chipped up and hit the underside of the vehicle towards the back bumper.     I bought a vehicle in Florida. It had an engine but the under was bad, didn’t have a key and a battery so, it was gonna be a headache to get shipped. I put it up on one of the listing website and the next morning, I got a call from Mark from eShip. I told him I needed a minute to get everything looked at and checked out because I was not gonna give somebody my credit card to somebody who just called me. So I made sure that everything was legit. So I called them back within a couple of hours and pretty much gave Mark “Okay.” and then Mark handled everything from there. He was awesome and I told him I need it to be under a grand and that was what he got for me.

    He sent me over the paperwork then it said that the car was running and I knew that was gonna make a big difference. I called them and was able to get it done with $50 extra which was absolutely nothing. I was expecting a $300 to $400 difference, and the price he texted. So, he handled me superbly well there, got the vehicle picked up within 18 hours of the first phone call that we had and got it delivered in the exact final time he said. Beginning to end, it took less than 10 days.

    One should give eShip a call. I’ve had terrible experiences in shipping before. There was a company I used to pick up a 32 three window coupe without an engine in Arizona, but three weeks later, they hadn’t picked the vehicle up. I was in Italy and the guy did not want to add into his facility anymore. I spent a half day in Rome figuring out how to get my car shipped from one place to another. So, I was always very weary of getting a car shipped but Mark has flipped that for me almost a 100%. If I needed something, I’d call him from the line he called me at. It was a line direct to him. I was also able to text and call him. It almost felt less like dealing with a big company. It was more like dealing with one guy who was able to make it happen. If I had somebody else, the experience that I had would’ve been different. He would be my first call and the first person I will recommend to anybody that I know.

    I was moving and I needed to ship a Mazda 3 from San Diego to Maryland. I called a handful of companies and got some quotes to see how I felt about them.     I bought a used an Infiniti QX80 and I wanted it brought to me from a distance of about 900 miles. I had about eight quotes from $630 up to $1250. So, I had to make a decision and I chose eShip because they were recommended on Consumer Affairs' website as somebody who was considered decent. It was the first time I shipped a car so I chose to spend on what I felt was a mid-range product that was recommended by Consumer Affairs. Then I spoke with eShip's reps. Everything was great and I signed a contract with them.

    Initially, eShip's rep, Mary Anne, gave me a price of $600. But she said they were always truckers coming from Florida. Apparently, a lot of people from the northeast, especially retired people, would go down to Florida in the southeast and vacation through in the winter. Then during this time of year when summer starts to head up in the northeast, they bring their vehicles up then they fly up and start their summer months up in the northeast. And they do the opposite come October and November. So eShip's rep, Mary Anne, blamed the fact that they couldn’t get the job done for the price they quoted because there was such a huge demand at this time of year for those type of individuals looking for transportation services from South Florida to the northeast.

    So, I accepted that as a reasonable excuse and allowed May Ann the benefit to increase the quote that they put out to carriers. She had it at $700 then three days went by and she said that she still couldn't get anybody at that price. So she asked to raise it at $800 and I said fine. And as soon as it went to $800, somebody jumped on it. But they still could not get the job done at the price that eShip quoted me and after about a week and another $200, we found another carrier that would perform the task.

    So, I ended up paying $1000 instead of $800, plus I waited 10 days to get my car. It was very frustrating because I could’ve paid $630 or $1200. Montway was the one that was very expensive which quoted me $1185 for cash price or $1250 for credit card, and the shipment was 100% guaranteed overnight. Also, I had a 14-day temporary tag applied to the car that I bought from the dealership that I had them stick on the vehicle and it was expiring. I had already lost 7 days of that and I ended up losing about 10 days of that at the end of the trip. So, I got the vehicle with a four-day tag and I couldn’t drive it because I had no tag and I had to wait for the title to clear, which took 14 days.

    Other than that, eShip's customer service was very good the whole time. Mary Anne was apologetic and very good at communicating. So, I’m not blaming eShip for what happened because I couldn't say that they didn’t try. But it would have been better if they told me they were gonna quote me $800, but because of potential market demands that price could go up. If eShip warned me about that upfront, I probably would’ve been prepared for it. And when they were asking me for additional dollars after the fact, I felt like it was a little bit of a bait-and-switch. However, Mary Anne told me that if I wanna choose somebody else, she'd totally understand and let me out of the contract. So, she was very upfront with me. It was just unfortunate that I paid extra and waited a little longer.

    When the car was delivered, the guy was about an hour late, which I thought was pretty good because you never know what traffic is gonna do. He still came within an hour of when he told me he was gonna be there and I was happy about that. The vehicle came back decent but was dirty. It was in an open trailer, so it was exposed to whatever weather he hit as well as to dust and dryness.

    And when somebody got in the vehicle to move it, there was mud on it so I had to have it cleaned. But it looked like he tried to put down some paper unless it was from a dealership. But maybe it was muddy when he picked it up and when he went to get it in the car to drive it on to the trailer he got mud in the vehicle. Still, that was not a big deal. The guy was very nice, very professional, and he documented the vehicle before he picked it up then showed me all the pictures. Overall, I would use him again but I would tell him to clean the mud off his shoes before he jumps into the car.

    I needed to ship a car from Sonoma, California back to Watertown, New York. I went online and looked at several transport companies.     I purchased a vehicle from a dealership from Hendrick BMW in North Carolina and had it shipped to Rhode Island to where I live. There were a couple of other auto transport companies and I started out with them, but they were jerking me around in not giving me dates and changing the prices. I got eShip through the gentleman that helped me purchase my vehicle at the dealership in North Carolina, and he was phenomenal. I like the fact that it was also a local company that he found for me. I got a text and said he would be here in half an hour. I was the next to the last vehicle and the delivery guy drove the car right into my driveway.

    Next thing I knew, it was right up my door within 20 minutes of when he texted me. I looked at the car, signed the papers and off he went. It was freezing that morning and the vehicle was in perfect shape, so there was nothing wrong. I’m still working with the dealership for paperwork on my vehicle and I even told them about eShip and how good they were. I’m not a good long, on-road driver and I would never have been able to go down there and drive the car back, so for the length of the time, the condition it came in, and the contact that we had were great.     eShip was friendly and polite. There were some delays going out and I didn’t know I could call them to get support. But coming back, there was no problem. So, it was all very efficient. Then I saw in a website that eShip was rated highly in a lot of different ways. They also got to me very quickly so I went with them.

    But the transporters never came when they said they were going to. They said they would be here Thursday but Thursday came and towards the end of the day, they called to tell me it was not going to be Thursday but instead Friday. And I was more frustrated with the company that I was recommended to. eShip set it up with them. I have to do all the calling and reaching out myself.

    Once the driver came and he put this thing on, I felt secure and safe that the car was going to be returned to me in a good condition, but it wasn't. But he stayed in touch and gave me his phone number. I could reach him and he could reach me. And the other frustrating thing is that nobody made it clear that they couldn't get to my house. So, I had to find or they had to recommend a big parking lot where they could unload the car. I know someone else who shipped a car and what that other company did was they sent a small pick-up to pick up the car at this person's house and they took it to the loading station and loaded it on. That would have been more convenient for me. But in my case, I had to get somebody who would drive me there to pick it up, drive me again to when I dropped it off, and to get me home. That was also a waiting game because you didn’t know what time they were going to get there. So, all of those little details made the experience frustrating.

    We have commercial vehicles that we purchased in Sacramento, California and the personnel that they were intended for were across country. Two vehicles were sent to Ohio and two were sent two to Georgia. And it was so much easier to hire a transport service than driving them that far. I did a bit of research and there were companies with cheaper bids but reading reviews online, there were some bait-and-switch tactics going on where they low ball you. And then once you're committed to them or you had everything arranged, they'll throw in "the lack of a driver" and add on it additional charges. But the guy from eShip was very straightforward with all the processes and how it was gonna go so I felt comfortable with them.

    I was present for the pick-up in Sacramento from our facility but not on the delivery side. We had some personnel there though. We did a walk around and took some pictures both on the dispatch and the arrival side and the cars arrived with no visible damage. Things went well and as convenient as it could be.     Eship was the fourth company we checked out when we were looking for a transport company to ship my car when we moved from California to Indiana. The first company we booked was supposed to pick up the car on the fifth and they never showed nor called. We called somebody else and they said they could do it. I told them I moved the car to where it would be easier to get out and get it because I was waiting for it at the condo and I didn't want to leave it in the condo. However, they couldn't get it moved for the price they quoted. They also kept telling me they couldn't find any drivers. When I changed the company again, it was the same story--couldn't get any drivers.

    We were moving a car from one state to another to make it available for us. I read a ton of reviews on different companies and eShip was one of the ones that came up on top. I spoke to eShip's main guy and he sounded very reputable. He knew what he was doing and it felt like he’s been doing it for many years. He helped me with some pitfalls about how some other companies work and based on our conversation, I felt really comfortable moving forward with him. He talked to me about their pricing and that their pricing would not change. On the other hand, some transport companies would give an entry level price but then when they actually come to get the car, the price tends to be more.

    The representative also told me about the different transport people they actually use since they step out their business to other people. And right then and there, we called the particular company that he was gonna set my job out to and we got a price on what it would cost to move our car. The only thing I really loved about eShip is they’re very personable. Once I confirmed that I was going to use them, I received an email and it had a customer service number and name on it. If I call with a question, that particular gal was right there. Plus they’re open 24/7 so you can call anytime to get an answer. Their process is very efficient in general.

    The transport company was there exactly when they said they would be and once the car got into transport, the company sent me an email with contact information on my driver. I was able to communicate with the driver and I also called eTransport once to ask them the whereabouts of my car ‘cause they said that they can track it for me. They let me know where the car was and when it was supposed to be at the arrival destination. Then as it grew closer, I received a call from the driver to confirm that it was going to arrive when it was gonna arrive. The car arrived exactly when it was supposed to.     We were moving out the state and we looked at companies to transport our Jeep Wrangler and saw that eShip had ratings that were a lot better than the others. I talked to their reps set up when the driver would be there and when the drivers would pick up the car. The delivery went really good, though there was a little bit of miscommunication between eShip and the driver. The driver had to get a key and then get my car keys out of the mailbox.

    They called and let me know the day before they would pick up the vehicle and then 30 minutes before the driver got there. And then, the rep called me after to make sure that they got the car and she also called me afterward to make sure if I was ready to go. And then she called me a couple of days into it and told me that they were halfway there and that she would call me the day before delivery, which she did and then the next day, she called me 30 minutes out before the driver arrived. Then I went and met with the driver, we looked at the car and after I paid him, I got my car. The transport took six days and there were no new damages on the vehicle. Overall, it's a positive experience.

    There were a lot of transport companies and they said the same things. The prices were competitive – within a few 100 bucks. I went through different ones and I went with eShip because they were able to meet schedule.     Never used auto transporter before, so I was really worried. I get several quotes but had a gut feeling to call eShip. I spoke to Mariann and she educated me about how it all works.     I was given a vehicle by a family member near Carson City, Nevada and it was being shipped to me to Nebraska so I could get it registered. We looked at three transport companies. One of them was Road Runner and I didn't like them at all. They quoted me $500 more than what eShip has given me. My grandfather also looked into a local transport company and he wanted about the same price as eShip but this local guy has some reviews on Yelp that wasn't so hot. So, we ended up with eShip based off their price and the reviews.

    eShip was great. We called them up and I also went online to get the quote. Then they sent me the quote. Since my grandpa was paying for it, I called him and relayed to him the quote and the terms and conditions. He then called up Ana and both of them got it all figured out. eShip picked up the car then the guy called me and said that he was on his way. The car was delivered in two days. I paid cash and that was it. The car came without any damages.

    I moved from New York to San Francisco and I got a recommendation from my friends to use eShip for the shipping of my SUV. I contacted them four times, made a deal and I shipped my car. Their rep was good in the negotiation and the delivery was good. While the tire was a little bit dirty and something was messed up with my radiator, I took care of it. Sometimes the tire is on the top of the shelf and if this is placed in the direction of the truck field when driving in the same direction, then it's gonna come to air. And if the car engine is not running and if it's not covered, then it’s gonna damage my radiator because the radiator is in the first place always.

    The transport took a week from beginning to end and it was what they had told me. However, the driver did not do a door-to-door shipping because I had to drop my car four miles away from my house in New York. And also the same thing when I requested my car here in Sunnyvale, and I had to go back to Santa Clara or Mountain View and it's five miles away from my house. So, that was not a good thing. When I talked to the driver, they said they couldn't go in my street. However, my friend did the same thing and the car was delivered near the gate. Other than that, I would like a discount since I’m shipping my friend’s car next month to New York.
