My 2016 Buick Lacrosse has been a pleasure to own. The vehicle performs very well on the highway with a smooth and very quiet ride due to the quiettune technology with reasonable gas mileage. Performs well for city driving also with premium suspension which helps to smooth ride on bumpy roads. Handling is also very good and gives you a good safe driving experience. Interior is very nice with excellent large info and entertainment screen. Highly recommended.

The vehicle when it is supposedly fully equipped, has the control lever to recline the front seats in a most inconvenient place and difficult to reach. You cannot put a set of golf clubs in the rear compartment unless you put down one of the rear seats. Noise level is very high inside the vehicle.

This car was the first model produced in this series. That said, it has quite a few problems. It consumes quite a bit of oil, as I am finding myself adding a quart of oil at least every two weeks, on average. Before realizing this, I had to replace the timing chains after the first 75000 miles, which is unfortunate.

Ridiculous how bad the communication has been! Update 11/21/2019:
I did reach out again to GM and again they denied any help. I firmly believe that if word gets out , they did mine, that there will be others banging on their doors with legal representation

I was very professional and nice ,I stated ,and not even a percentage ,their response ,we are not changing our decision. What's upsetting is that this is a known issue.

    Original review:

I ordered a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXL AWD, it is a loaded vehicle, almost every option, it has and always will be garaged, maintained by buick, it is always clean and washed, waxed, and maintained, looks like brand new. In and out, in early June of 2019, I noticed paint coming off my vehicle in flakes, I luckily have a close friend who has a auto body shop near me, he saw it and was totally surprised to see paint flaking off the vehicle on the left side rear roof area and on the right side rear defroster glass body channel area, the rear glass had to be removed for repaint, headlines dropped, and repaired as necessary, it's like new, since the auto body shop my friend owns is very professional.

I reached out to General Motors with pictures and a estimate, they denied any repairs due its age, and not even a percentage, buick offered and gave me $100.00 as a service voucher. The vehicle has received many compliments on how it looks and drives, this is my vehicle, my last vehicle, and I maintain it like new. The repairs actually came to $2400.00

Funny thing is that it is white, and GM had a problem then on white and silver cars due to the paint flaking off due to improper application of primer, and Mary T Barra had buick executive office reach out to me, which they never did, I reached out to her, and she appeared to read a pre scripted letter on paint, little does she know, I have been around cars for a long time, from Chevrolet, Ford and I recently retired from a BMW dealership after 19.5 years and she is telling me how it is, the problem is, general motors offered nothing, not even a percentage on something that they knew and know was a problem.

I had just bought a 2019 Buick Encore 7 months ago. Last week I was in a head on collision that saved myself along with the other four passages in my car. I selected this car for several reason, but one main reason was because of its safety. At the time of the head on collision all 8 or 9 airbags deployed immediately which saved all of our life’s along with wearing our seatbelts. My Buick was so beautiful inside and out and if I ever have the chance to buy me another one I will. We all were so blessed to be alive after the hard impact from the other car. Looking at my car after the accident one would wonder if the driver or passenger survived. We all had some bruising, cuts, and some loss of hearing out of my right ear, but my beautiful 2019 Buick Encore saved our life’s that day. It’s because of my Buick we are all living today. I wanted to thank the Buick people for my life.

Buick corporation and GM Corporation you guys have the nerve to send my a survey asking my opinion of the service from my dealership. Well let's see. You guys have had my car almost as much as I have considering my car has been to the dealership 13 times and you all still can't seem to fix it. Hire people who know what they are doing.

Buick corporation you guys are the biggest ** of all. I've contacted you all twice concerning this car and you all have basically told me keep working with the dealership even after explaining your certified dealership can't seem to fix the issue. So I will say this. People stay away. This cars are junk. They will sell you a certified lemon. It will say certified car which is suppose to mean as good as any new car. It should really have stated certified lemon garbage rolling nightmare, POS that no one will ever fix because they don't know the issue. Do not contact Buick Corp because you will be wasting your time as they true just want you to keep bringing your car in replace parts that shouldn't need replacing and by time it's all said and done you could have purchased a new car because by time you truly find the problem you will have spent more money fixing the rolling POS that they certified.

Broke down while traveling. First dealer replaced a warranty battery which I had to pay for because the dealer I bought it from did not provide the proper info according to service manager. Was told it was ok. Drove 200 miles had same problem. Drove to closest Buick dealer, paid for another diagnostic. Was told it was ok. Drove 40 miles, same problem. Drove back to same dealer was told what the problem was. Same as the first diagnostic from OnStar. Had to order part. Finally repaired and drove home. Had to deal with Delco direct to get a partial refund for the battery.

The dealership claimed they fixed/replaced crank shaft and can shaft three times and the issues were unrelated. Returned car to me leaking oil. Second dealership has had car since first week of August with turbo part 30 to 60 days out. GMC representative informed me that’s a parts issue not theirs and since they plan to repair it they are upholding their end of the deal. I thought the deal was a quality car?!?? Apparently the deal is provide bare minimum and expect consumer to be happy. I expected more from Buick. Should have stuck with Nissan. Less flash but a lot more reliable!

The dealership ended up repainting the hood. I’m really concerned about the topcoat on this vehicle. My paint is actually stained from a maple trees droppings. This was in a small but high traffic road where street parking is the parking of choice. I have never had anything like this happen. I’ll be going back to the dealership to see what their explanation might be on this. Has anyone else dealt with this paint job disappointment? Thanks.

I purchased a 2015 Encore in 2016. I took it in for regular service at the dealer from which I purchased the car. Didn't have any problems with it until this year. We were taking a cross country trip to Albuquerque. On 6/23, we were about an hour out of Albuquerque when there was suddenly a loud noise coming from the engine. I immediately took it off cruise control and the noise stopped. I reengaged cruise control and the noise started again. So I disengaged cruise and every time I tried to accelerate, that noise started again. I took the car to the dealer the next day, and was told that the turbocharger was gone. Then the bad news got worse. They told me there were no spare turbochargers in the country. They put it on national backorder and couldn't tell me when one would be available.

After nearly a week, the dealer told me that they had made arrangements for a one-way rental which I would have to turn in when I got back home. They also told me that I could then rent another car until mine got fixed, and then they would ship it to me here in Maryland. They also told me I could submit the rental car bill to GM and MAYBE they would pay it. I decided to buy a new car instead, primarily because I had no idea how long I would be driving a rental car and there was no guarantee that GM would pay the bill. Now my brand new 2019 Encore is in the shop with a broken charge air plate. No idea how long it will take to get the part. Meanwhile I'm in another rental. What happened to quality control??

I purchased a 2018 Regal TourX in August of 2018. On December 8th while parked the car was hit from behind. My hatch was damaged. That week the dealership requested parts. We received a call from the dealership stating that A new hatch was not available and there was no known date for delivery of the part. They asked if I wanted to have them bump out the dents and do a body and paint repair. I said no, it was a brand new car. I wanted the new part. I didn’t want to deal with corrosion down the road.

The first of January the dealership called and suggested we escalate our problem to Buick Customer Service. We did. It took 2 weeks to speak to someone at customer service. She stated she would called me back within 3 business days. She didn’t. After 5 days I started calling her. I could not reach her. I left several messages over the next week and finally heard from a ‘Senior Care representative. She took the details again and said she would call me back in two days. She did not. After 3 I started calling her and leaving messages. I finally spoke with her after a few days and told her that I wanted to talk with someone higher up the chain than her. She said I could not speak with that person directly but she could. She said she would speak to him and then follow up with me within two business days. She did not.

I called her and left messages. I finally spoke to her yesterday and she had this follow up information for me: the Manager she spoke with said I had been offered a repair at the dealership that was adequate and I chose not to take it. Because of that and the fact that this is not a warranty issue it’s not a high priority for Buick and they would not release a part from production for the repair. The part is on backorder indefinitely. We’ve owned 7 Buicks in the course of our marriage as well as 5 Pontiacs and a few Chevys. We build vehicles for the emergency rescue vehicle market. I can not imagine delivering a message like that to any customer. Buick, I am so disappointed in you.

My 2015 Buick Encore's engine blew at 40,000 miles on Christmas eve. It is all under warranty. They're replacing the engine and that took a few weeks for the Buick dealer to get because there were problems getting the correct engine from GM. Then, when they installed it, it had a wrong part. The dealer had been trying to get that part from GM for weeks but no idea when they will get it. The dealer asked me to help by calling Buick Customer Service to escalate the problem of getting parts to the dealer.

I have left messages every other day for over a week now and twice requesting a Supervisor but I still haven't received a response from Buick. My car has been at the dealer a month and a half now, I have no car, no loaner, and still no response from Buick customer care. I recommend choosing a car made by a different company because what good is a warranty when they can't get parts to fix your car and nobody cares enough to return a phone call. Not a good company.

I purchase my 2017 Buick Verano April 29, 2017 from Hanlee Hilltop Buick in Richmond, CA. The vehicle had under 40 miles on it when I purchase, so I felt that it was a brand new vehicle and with the deal it was great. My problems with the vehicle started in August 2017. I went out to start my vehicle one morning and it would not turn over. All my lights and radio came on when I turned the key. I called roadside service to give me a jump start and the vehicle turned over. I took the vehicle back to the dealership to get looked at and the mechanic stated that nothing wrong with the vehicle. The vehicle started up and I drove off. After that incident my vehicle start acting up again on November 23, 2017.

This time the vehicle wouldn't arm and I had to lock it from the inside. November 24, 2017 the vehicle wouldn't start again. So my vehicle was towed to Lehmer's Concord Buick since they're closer to me. Concord stated that they checked my vehicle thoroughly and they couldn't find anything wrong with the vehicle. December 13, 2017 my vehicle would not start, Buick roadside came out and jumpstart my vehicle. So as of right now I'm fed up, I'm having more problems with this brand new vehicle. The mechanic specialist at the dealership cannot find the issue. Buick roadside service had to come out multiple times to jumpstart my vehicle or tow. Also my neighbors or family members would jump my vehicle.

The service department ask me all the time, are you leaving anything on in the vehicle? No, I'm not. If I was, it's a new vehicle why is it shutting down. I had problem in Feb. 2018, end up getting an jump from a neighbor. My vehicle is still under warranty and I'm afraid that they going find whatever is wrong with the vehicle after my warranty has expire. The wouldn't start on June 10, 2018 at a family event after the vehicle sat for five hours. I had to get a jump from a family member. Again, on June 16, 2018 went out to the vehicle after shopping with my daughter for a couple hours and the vehicle wouldn't start. I took the vehicle to Buick on June 18, 2018. They again look at my vehicle thoroughly and reset some things. Vehicle was running good for almost a month.

July 13, 2018 about 1140 pm I was leaving an event went to start my vehicle and it wouldn't start. I sat on OnStar for three in half hours to try to get someone to tow the vehicle to Buick in Richmond or Concord. I end in Richmond around 430 am on Saturday and had to catch Uber from Richmond to Antioch. My vehicle was left on the streets cause Buick didn't have no open drop off location with a situation like this nor a drop box for keys. I went back to the dealership Saturday morning about 9 am. I was told that it's nothing they can do to my car until Thursday or Friday of the following week. My vehicle would have to stay on the street until Monday morning. As of today I'm trying to use the Buick roadside assist to tow my vehicle from the Buick in Richmond to Concord.

That's hassle, I spoke with a young man at Buick roadside and he stated that someone will give me a call within four hours due to my situation. No callback! I called this morning and received a little help, still waiting for the call back about my tow from Richmond to Concord. I'm going have to take further action, cause I know Buick most likely not going to let me out of the contract. THIS VEHICLE IS A LEMON!!!

At the time the car was purchased, my mother needed a car that was easy to get in and out of with limited mobility. It has been reliable, comfortable transportation for 9 years. The bench front seat has been especially welcome when driving with two small dogs. I've never owned an American car that has lasted so long. However, there is a switch for the heater and air conditioner that corrodes from condensation. The entire dashboard needed to be removed to replace it. I think it was a good choice and it's very comparable other models but I do like a lot of the features that this car has. I have a fairly large family and the Rendezvous offered the space that we needed to travel comfortably. With 3 kids space is important. One important feature that I like is it easily accessible for my husband and I to use because he's taller than I am and the seats are just comfortably for both of us. I think I would have preferred 3 row seating instead of two and for some reason by Side mirrors seem to be bigger than most cars. The body of it is big and I prefer it to be a little smaller. However, I'm not a huge fan of the blind spots in the car as I'm sure design wise could have been avoided a bit more. I also wish that the car would have more cup holders in it. I believe there are only 2 for a car that is able to seat up to 5. Lastly, I wish my model had a truck door that could open and close on its own so putting bags and groceries in the car would be easier. We like the style, shape, and exterior design of this vehicle, as well as the comfortable, easy, smooth ride. It has a roomy interior, as well as a very large trunk space. It also gets super gas mileage. While it's our favorite car to date, we are not too thrilled about the quality of the car radio as it has aged - the speakers have become quite fuzzy and the volume will not hold steady. Also, a compact disk drive would be nice.

The car has always been dependable and ready to go when I am. Maintenance is minimal and has safe airbags. Bought new tires 1 year ago. It also starts readily in 30 below 0 weather. Moreover, it has a sleek appearance, black interior, electric seats and windows, and color tan. It has very roomy trunk space that is more than adequate. Can open trunk from inside as well. Rented this car as an upgrade and drove it 250 miles through the mountain like road of Route 17, a twisting drive at 35 to 55 mph as well as in less challenging terrain. I already own two and was amazed at the difference. Handling not great but easy driving on hwy trips. It had electronic shut off at stops, a really smooth ride, quiet, great power at all times but the price at about $50 brand new makes you wonder how it got that high. There are so many buttons on every surface. A driver should take a ten hour course to get ready to try driving it. Had some, a lot, of trouble changing into reverse and solved it by simply parking always where I could get out in drive. Mileage... unbelievable 250 miles and $32 at $4 bucks a gallon. Rich? Get one but old? Take a class. I like mine with same engine but stiffer road and a cost of about $7 grand per car vs $50 grand. Enterprise is the rental agent and they were really reliable...not Hertz which I will review separately.

My full review of this 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir is yet to be made as I've only had it for a few weeks. However, to say I'm completely satisfied out of the box that answer is a big "NO". All the technology on this car can be quite confusing and to make that point try and call the OnStar service to find out about those things that are not clear in the manual and they'll put you on hold to go look in the manual. Really, their support people are poorly trained and somewhat useless when you call. No auto rain sensing windshield wipers which even the salesperson didn't know as he tried to convince me that we had them after I'd called and had to turn them on and off in a rainstorm we'd driven through.

Connect 10 Bluetooth devices including your phone yet if you're using another device other than your phone, then your phone won't answer through the car. Hands free on the phone is one of the most important features a car can have for obvious safety reasons. I'm still working out what I like and dislike about the car but with a car that costs you over $60,000 you'd expect the simple things to be there and to work. On one last thing with Onstar, not sure whether they outsource it or not as have talked to a few who I can't even understand other than not being able to answer simple questions. It's a comfortable ride, quiet and great space when third row seats down but many other cars have that and the above problems not there. Just a bit disappointed.

When car door is open there's no signal lighting to let oncoming cars know that your door is open, transmission stays in same gear too long before changing to second gear. Very cheaply made luxury car. Not worth the money. No way. Initially you would be blown away. It's so luxurious and comfy inside. Great features. Seems high end. STOP! Don't let that fool you like it did me. Don't believe my review. Just google complaints with Buick Enclaves and thousands of consumers have the same complaints as me. The transmission and powertrain needed to be replaced. Was stuck on highway out of town several times with transmission, powertrain, and StabiliTrak problems. The SUV decelerated to less than 10mph many times on the road... DANGEROUS. That check engine light stayed on. I took it to many many mechanics who could not fix it. Buick wants you to pay to just replace the whole thing... thousands of dollars. If I didn't have an initial extended warranty I would've been out $3k when it 1st happened on natl highway.

The wave plate needed to be replaced then. The valves and hoses constantly break and leak and need replacing. I have spent thousands out of pocket as a teacher and single momma. This car is a money pit! Beautiful, spacious. Comfy, but you will never be able to relax! Passenger airbag light is on and rear backup alert is on. The airbag alone in a passenger seat 800. For what you pay for the luxury car, you might as well drive a cheap car that gives you no problems. GMC won't recall these terrible engine and transmission problems either though they know about it and many consumers complain about it. Rip off. They should spank themselves! They deserve 1 star.

The Buick Enclave for my family of six has given me nothing but problems. My check engine light would stay on majority of the time. It use to sound like something up under the vehicle was loose because it would rattle really badly. Whenever you started the truck up, it would make a loud roaring sound and grinding when making a left hand turn. My heat/air went out. All of the warning signals began lighting up. My front driver tire would always go low; but I was told by the dealership that the passenger back tire sensor needed to be replaced. The list goes on and on, but now it has been inoperable and parked in front of my garage since May 4, 2017.

I had just got the vehicle used from a car lot; that had just purchased it from the dealership next door to them that morning. The downside was that it was purchased AS IS and with no extended warranty. The worst part is that it was purchased to replace a car that I had just lost, due to a total loss of being in an accident where I was not the at fault driver. I went months without a vehicle after being forced to turn in the rental.

Now, my family has to endure being without a running vehicle now for almost a year. It is extremely unethical on GM's part because they were already aware of many of their plethora of models/years before they even started. Now, my family has been going in debt to pay for a vehicle that we cannot drive. I have been forced to turn down temp jobs because the strain of lack of multiple public transit routes not coinciding with job schedules. Most people in social media groups have been bragging about at last getting rid of their money pit vehicles. I wish that was even an option for me. However, if I was even able to afford to get it fixed, I would still be taking a major loss with the $4000 that I put down plus the loan payments that we are currently still making in addition to when I was still making full coverage insurance payments. That could have been going towards the loan payments, repairs, or even another vehicle.

I purchased my 2012 Buick Verano when Buick introduced the new series in 2012. It was fairly loaded with many options and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed that car. However I did have several manufacturer issues. In the first 2 years I had to 1. Force dealership to replace windshield because there was literally a full hand print within the windshield (during manufacturing someone touched either the glass or the safety plastic that's inside before glass was finished or fused together. It was right in my line of sight. Dealership went round and round finally they admitted they could see the issue and agreed to replace under warranty.

    2. Rear window replaced. A strip in the heating element stopped working. Dealership had nerve to ask me if I could live with it... REALLY?? It's unset warranty of course I want it replaced. The factory paint job was sub par. I didn't realize it at first but it became obvious quickly. The bottom part of rear wheel wells behind where you catch ask the runoff and splash from tires started fading right away. Hood, bumper, roof all chipped way too easily... Regardless of these things I loved the Verano. It was totaled in an accident in 2015. I immediately bought a 2015 Verano. This one was way better, loved the build in wifi/ 4G LTE. It also came with advanced safety features and improved touchscreen infotainment.

Only had 1 flaw that I didn't even realize. When I had it at a different dealership for oil change, I was going to buy touch up paint. The service manager was looking at my car and noticed few spots not quite right. Turned out after they flew someone from their GM headquarters out to Portland Oregon. He confirmed that my car was one of a select batch that had defective paint jobs. So they put me in a loaner for almost 3 weeks and my Verano had to be completely repainted. Since they contract that out, I was lucky enough to get a way better paint job than manufacturer. So as of just 2 months ago I finally got the car I always wanted but it's usually way too expensive for my taste lol.

I saw a 2014 Buick LaCrosse fully loaded and a premium pearl diamond paint job heads up display. This car was $47, 000 brand new. It was a one owner lease and had incredibly low miles on it. It still looked and smelled new. They were selling it for $21.000. I didn't hesitate I knew it wouldn't last long.. So far I'm in heaven with my LaCrosse. I really can't find anything wrong with it. It's powerful, very quiet, feels sporty as well as elegant and comfortable... FINGERS CROSSED! So, obviously I've had opportunity to change brands but I really do like Buick. I had never driven or owned one before 2012. Unless Buick introduces another great model I really want. I may most likely change to a different look and feel. I hope this helps anyone with questions or doubts.

We recently bought a 2017 Buick Encore and the first time it reached about 115 degrees my acceleration became nil. I'd press down from a stop light and the car would barely move (1000 miles on it then). Then coming home from work my wife was getting on the freeway, she pushed down, hardly did anything, had to "punch it". When she did it moved, but the AC turned off altogether. We contacted Buick about this problem (acceleration) and they said "put higher octane gas in it, it might solve the problem". REALLY!!! Come to find out after many phone calls that the Turbo in the Buick Encore can't take the higher temps and will hesitate badly when pushing down on the gas. They're "working on it" so they say.

I've even spoken with people in Detroit who say the Engineers are working to find a solution. Yet, they are still selling these cars without telling anyone of the consequences. I believe the Engineers and top Exec knew of this problem and just told the dealers to sell them anyway. We will never buy a Buick again. In closing let me say that many don't realize how many days over 100 degrees we have in AZ, NV, CA, TX and a few other states. Last year we had 99 days over 100 degrees. This year is expected to be more and yet even at 100 or 105 this car "acts up". The other thing many don't realize is that here in AZ like many other western states our humidity is only about 5-15% most of the time. That's extremely "Dry" and means that Sun is hotter. We don't have any moisture in the air to speak of. This is very telling on the cars and people. This is why Buick needs to DO SOMETHING NOW!!!

My Buick LeSabre had seating for six, three in the back seat and three in the front seat. There was bench seats in it and it sat each of my family members comfortably. I choose to upgrade the radio to a CD player, windows to power windows and locks to power locks upgraded to anti-lock brakes.

The car I own is an suv that has performed very well over the few years I have owned it. They offer automatic transmission, keyless entry, and push to start. I enjoyed their other features as well, such as power reclining seats and leather seats. You can purchase leather seating, and much more. I bought the 4G LTE Wifi which I use for business. It is very reliable and worth the extra money. They offer plenty of room and many ways to make extra space for added passengers. My sedan is very roomy and has no issues as far as space goes.

There are some extra sound, screen, and radio features that seemed interesting. Buick seems to have average space for passengers. There are several models of Buick including models from luxurious to very economical and from small to large. The distinct look of the buick vehicles can be identified by an emblem containing four objects and four or five openings on both sides of the hood which covers the engine compartment. There are also a lot of upgrade and personalization options available including types of engines and body styles and safety features. Many of the features that come standard are tire pressure checks, compass indicators and radios. In my Buick Lucerne it is difficult to get three passengers in the front seat because of the console between the driver seat and the passenger seat, but there is ample room for 3 people in the back seat and there is a very large luggage compartment.

In November 2016 we decided to own our new car (Buick Encore). Purchasing a new car is not a decision that I made lightly. I entrusted my family life and safety in Buick's hands, only to discover that they did not have my family's best interest in mind. We got older ones before, however this was the one I liked the best. It is a nice car, but with problems. This car has 2000 miles now and is in the shop for 2 weeks already to be fixed. The problem is that the engine overheated on the way home from school. I had my daughter with me which was so scary and unsafe. I got the car in the shop and they said that the cooling oil and the oil are mixing together which should not happen. They said that this will be a easy fix and the car will be good to go again in 2 weeks.

2 weeks have passed and I get a phone call from the shop that said that they need more time because some of the parts did not come yet. He ordered couple of pages of parts and will take more time. I am concerned for my safety and my family safety that this car with a couple of pages of parts being replaced and the engine being taken down... This NEW car will not function as a new car ever again. I wanted a new car for safety and comfort which I lost in the moment that all this happened. My experience with Buick Encore is not even close to comfort and safety and I don't feel safe to even try to take it back home. What I wanted and still want is a new car.

They make lots of other models, but nothing can hold a candle to the Roadmaster... I had to go to Lincoln to find one almost as good as the Roadmaster. The car was elegantly styled, with comfortable seats, power steering, power brakes, a headliner that was firmly anchored to the ceiling of the car, front and rear defoggers, and heated rear window plates that would quickly melt ice and snow. The 8 cylinder engine had more than enough power to tackle the steep mountain roads, even in the Tetons. Also, the audio system was superb and an upgrade would have been a waste of money. Although rated as a 6 passenger vehicle, the nice middle arm that folded down in front made it essentially a 5 passenger vehicle... but 6 guys of my build (6 ft. and 350 lbs) could easily fit.

The color options were excellent and the curves were attractive. Overall the car had a modern, sleek, expensive look. I had the complete package. The color was blue and it had sunroof top electronic Windows, AC, and alarm system. It makes me feel great. The car had a lot of room for 5 people to capacity. It was my family car. Thank you. Remember what you pay for is what you get.

I purchased an earlier model Buick as I was looking for a good deal and I don't drive much, so with those older models there isn't much variation in style. The newer models on the floor looked updated with more variety. For a used car the Lucerne has a lot of great features; leather heated seats, rain sense wipers, smart seats. Great options and features for the price paid. My car is very roomy and spacious. 5 people total including driver with lots of leg room. Large trunk space for storage. Very comfortable car for short and long trips.

The passenger capacity is very spacious with lots of leg room, plenty of armrest, and no feeling cooped up in a vehicle to where it is uncomfortable. It's comfortable all around. There is dual climate control, leather seats, different audio options and gps and there is also a Sirius radio option. Buick has always been a brand with ample passenger capacity. That is one of the features I most love about the Buick. Sometimes we go out with friends and there is never a problem with room.

My car has a fine appearance and it has wonderful features that I like which I prefer over the other features of some models. The car capacity's all right even though it doesn't hold a lot, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being satisfying) I would rate the capacity 8 out of 10. I love the upgrade and the options they offer. It's easier and safer to use with every upgrade it keeps getting. Making more people switch over, this is one thing I love about it.

I talked to the salesman. They got him a loaner car for Monday. They called me today and said there were no codes and they took it out to drive and everything is OK. Well it's not OK for me. They have no idea what's wrong. The GM rep at the dealer told me the same thing I've seen on other sites. No codes no problem it drives OK. Finally this car had 29 miles on it when bought it. Now has just under 300 and the first payment hasn't been made yet. My son is worried about driving the car. I hope this isn't a lemon.

We have a 2007 Buick with 25,000 miles on it and the GM engineers cannot figure out what is wrong. First we took the car to Richard Kay Superstore in Anderson, SC. They had it for 3 weeks, told me they called the GM engineers but never documented it. Gave us the car back, said it was fixed but the engine light came on within one hour driving the car home. Called the dealer back, they offered no solution, left us very disappointed. We decided to try the local Chevrolet dealer, Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla, SC. They had the car for two months, replaced a number of sensors. Contacted the GM engineers, started a issue ticket with them. Sonic Chevrolet took the time with us and said if the light comes on again there are only two things left, one that will cost $700.00 and the other that costs $1,000.00. They said the engineers told them they have never seen this happen before.

Well after two days the light is back on. Since we have already spent $1,000 on parts and another $650 on new tires. I should say we originally purchased the car new and always had it serviced by GM dealers and mechanics on a regular basis. We will be bringing the car back to Sonic Chevrolet in Walhalla SC. With this issue, one needs to ask, why would anyone want to buy a GM vehicle when the computer or engineers cannot find out why the engine light is on? Seems to me that if there was no computer you wouldn't need all of the sensors and there wouldn't be a issue with a engine light, and I wouldn't have had the car tied up for three months or had to spend the money on top of the regular service we had done.

I would suggest checking Buick out, they are a very good automobile. They are very dependable, and all the ones my family has ever owned lasted for a long time. When they do need to get checked out, for any type of problem, they're usually not in the shop very long, as whatever's wrong is easily fixed. And they're a relatively low priced car.

I purchased a brand new 2016 Buick Encore end of August. I had issues with the car when driving under 40 mph where it would appear to cut out or shift hard. I had researched and found where other people had the issue and it went away a few thousand miles. Then in November at 3500 miles, it happened going down the highway at 50 mph and threw me forward in the car. Then once coming to a stop, I was unable to move in reverse, it made an awful sound and would not move. It would still go in drive but again cut out heavily. The car was towed to the dealer for repair.

I am now told that the "tool" needed to repair my transmission was just ordered last week, over two weeks of having my car, that the tool would not be received until the end of December or first part of January. I am disappointed that GM would not approve for a complete transmission replacement as opposed to repair. I purchased the car loaded with every feature and I am most upset how long I am being deprived from the car.

I bought a 1995 Buick Regal Custom with a 145000 on it from my neighbor. It was his granddaughters. A few people owned it before her. I guess they never used the locks. I used the remote to lock and unlock the doors. After a few weeks I was locked out of my car. It kept making a clicking sound. The key would not even unlock it then. This went on for an hour before I could finally open the door. Then after that on another day my husband, my 5 yr old grandson and myself pulled into our driveway I hit the lock button in the car to unlock the doors so we could exit the vehicle. No such luck. The clicking noise started again. We sat in the car for an hour, still could not get out of the vehicle. I called my son who lives 20 minutes away, we drove to his house listening to the clicking in the doors all the way to his house.

After we arrived we still could not exit the car until he disconnected the auto lock. After that, I figured everything was good to go. Guess what, I locked the drivers side door manually, my husband locked his door the front passenger door manually and I locked the back doors manually. When we made it back home we could not get out of the car. We manually unlocked our front doors but they were not unlocked. I had to take my door key, put it in the lock on the outside of door and unlock it while I was still sitting in the drivers seat.

After I got out of the car I had to unlock the passenger door. The back doors unlock from the inside but not the front doors. I had called Buick. A Foreigner told me since I bought the car used and for how old it is, she could not help me. That it was not under warranty. I told her if I ever get stuck in this vehicle from a wreck, fire, etc. There will be a big lawsuit. I have never in my life had a car that would lock me out of it or in it. I never lock the doors while I am in it. But when I park it at home or out shopping I lock the doors. This car should of been recalled years ago. Is there someone that can help me with this problem.

We brought it back to dealership and they took it to Buick hall and had it repaired. A week later we were stranded again for the same issue (reduced power, smoking, fumes in car, stabilitrak alert all the same symptoms). This time we took it back to Buick hall and they said it was just an injector misfire, refused to replace it. We asked about recalls and they said there were none.

A few weeks later all the same things happened and we called them. They wanted 200 to test fuel system, knowing we knew what the issue was, then said if it was in fact the injectors again it's eight hundred per faulty injector. At 32000 miles we had to replace right rear wheel bearings and a engine pulley that turns the pumps. Which the dealer Castle Buick replaced under warranty. Then a few thousand miles later the wheel bearing went out again. The dealer replaced the bearing for real this time under warranty. Now 69000 miles the engine pulley went out again and the dealer claims it's out of Warranty even for the one they replaced at 36000 miles 20 months later and charged us $443.00. I have a 2010 Buick Enclave. It recently started having steering issues at low speeds. I took it to my local repair shop and recommended a rack assembly replacement. It did not fix the issue. I did some research and found that Buick has been problems with this issue. I took my car back to the repair shop and they looked and found that there was a special coverage adjustment for this. It extended the coverage for 10 years or 150,000 miles. They say they will pay for the expenses if they have already been done. I was told I was mailed a recall in 2014, which I did not. This was about the time I purchased the car used. The representative had my mailing address as MA not MS. Then said it was MS.

Bottomline, they refuse to pay for it, saying my deadline was 2015 and I should have taken it to a dealer. I had no knowledge there was a recall (even though it had been in dealer earlier in year) and did not have issues until late 7/2016. If I did, why would I take it to a local repair shop. Guess the 10 year extension really does not mean the paper it is printed on. The local dealer would not even attempt to help with getting a refund, even though on page 14 it says they should help. Not please with the Buick family with my first Buick. Likely to be last due to this.
