I want to give a shout out to Cassie ** at Autozone in Royce city Tx. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and helped me get the right part for my vehicle. She is very knowledgeable and she is a tremendous asset to Autozone. I am a repeat customer and it’s because of this young lady that I keep coming back to Autozone for all my parts needs. I think miss ** would be a great candidate to have her own store to run! You don’t see people go above and beyond to help their customers like Cassie does anymore. Thank you for always exceeding all my expectations as an Autozone customer.

Worst experience ever. I bought a battery and one of their employees installed it. I knew something was wrong when he took the battery out and turned it around. After almost 2 hours of waiting on him to finish when I started my truck I got a alert that said "battery not charging stop vehicle". The guy tested the battery, starter and alternator. It said the alternator was bad. I explained he killed my alternator when he turned the battery the wrong way.

I spoke to store manager who told me that 2 of the employees was saying they did not know which side was positive and which was negative and they were googling tying to figure it out. He also said they never should have changed it with fuses on the battery. The district manager said to take it to shop and if it's their fault they will cover. I took it to the dealership who said they killed my computer system and could be more damage once the system is fixed to run more test. Price is 2200.00. I advised the DM of this and said they need to pay to repair my Volkswagen truck. They want me to pay for the repairs and say they will reimburse me. Will not give me anything in writing, will not pay for a rental as my truck is not drivable. This has stressed me out so bad. I have missed work over this.

I do not like how they are handling their mistake. I am thinking of filing a lawsuit. This is not acceptable to treat people this way. I have filed a complaint with corporate and they had a regional manager reach out who has not even returned my calls or text today. This has been a horrible experience. I can not believe how they have turned my life upside down. I don't know how or how long I will going through this. Autozone needs to make it right. I am so depressed behind this. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Do not trust AutoZone. They are nothing but liars, I paid extra on an important order of brake rotors to be here next day, ** lied, I have a confirm email saying they would be here today, then I track them and they show Monday. Liars!!! I called customer service and some lady that sounds like a call center in another country could care less... I call this fraud. Autozone sucks. All the research and I end up being taken advantage of.

This is specific to their online site and not any individual store. This is specifically focused on oil brands for sale on their website. Without entering any car info all brands of oil will be visible. But once you enter your vehicles info those oil brands will become limited. I don't mean just the oil for diesel engines. I used to own a Lexus 300h that took 0W-20 full synthetic and now I own a Mazda CX-5 non-turbo that takes 0W-20 full synthetic. I enter my current vehicle info (Mazda) and Pennzoil along with Mobil 1 both disappear. To make sure I'm not just crazy, I enter my old '16 Lexus ES 300h as my vehicle and Pennzoil along with Mobil 1 reappear.

The only difference between AutoZone's "Your vehicle's oil" for the Lexus and the Mazda is 0.1qts used. Which is correct. But the exact same oil type is recommended for both vehicles 0W-20 full synthetic. I don't know why AutoZone decided what brands of oil to show for what brand of car but now I'm questioning all of their search results and won't enter my vehicle info into their website any longer.

I added 3 pictures to prove my point. The first is of Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 being shown as "not-fitting" a 2024 CX-5 non-turbo. The second picture shows the limited oils offered for a Mazda vehicle that uses 0W-20 full synthetic oil. The third picture shows the oils offered for a Lexus vehicle that uses 0W-20 full synthetic oil. The two last pictures should have the exact same results since they both use 0W-20 oil.

So, my son-in-law was fixing my vehicle, and I went to get the parts the first few times. However, this time, I couldn’t make it, and you think they wouldn’t care how he showed up? Well, my son-in-law was a bit dirty from working on the car. What mechanic stays clean? 🤭 Anyway, the ignorant sales team was being very disrespectful and kicked my son-in-law and my daughter out. They refused to provide them with services because my son-in-law was all in his mechanic era. 🤭 I used to love going to this place to get parts for my cars or whatever I needed. But since this happened, I’m not going to give them any of my hard-earned money or my business. Who denies someone services just because they’re in their mechanic clothes? This happened at the smelter location. I think it was very unprofessional and rude.

I was going to post the video, on Facebook, but I don’t need to provide evidence of it the people that did this know exactly who they are 🤦🏼‍♀️ but in the video, not once was my daughter or her boyfriend being rude. They just asked for the parts they needed and asked a question about a certain part he needed to get, as well as some tools. We would have spent a little over $500 there if they had accepted his appearance. But no, so they went to O’Reilly’s, where they treated them with so much respect and not judgment at all. So Smelter AutoZone, I hope you teach your team how to show respect and not show judgment and again I do believe it was the BOSS/MANAGER that was part of this issue, not sure if it was cause of are skin color or what but yes when I gone there by myself I would see people giving in a vehicle go in there twice as messy as my son in law was and they was very nice to them. This just blows my mind, it really does.

I ordered about $500 worth of brake pads, rotors, spark plugs, an oil filter, and some other consumables for next day delivery through the app. I received an email the next day that my order was cancelled. For some reason, I was charged only for one of the items (front pads) and all the other items were canceled. I called customer service and both the original rep and then his supervisor were telling me it was my bank’s fault. My bank said it couldn’t be their fault since AutoZone successfully charged me for the one item they singled out on my order and that AutoZone would’ve had to split the transaction that way (one transaction for the one item, and another transaction for the remaining items that was cancelled on their end).

I asked the supervisor if I could just reorder the remaining items through him over the phone and just pickup the parts at a local AutoZone store since the cancelled items wouldn’t get to me in time if they were shipped as originally intended. So the supervisor made a cart of my remaining items and had it set to pickup from a local AutoZone and it was going to be over $100 more than what it should’ve been. The supervisor told me it was because the cheaper price I was expecting was for coupons/deals for online delivery orders only (as my original order was). So I asked him if he could just charge me the original price I was going to pay since I’m being inconvenienced by not receiving the parts when they were supposed to be delivered. He told me he could not do that.

So either AutoZone supervisors are not given the authority to make custom transactions which would be a terrible business policy of AutoZone’s (because what’s the point of the supervisor then if they have no authority other than babysitting subordinates) or the supervisor just didn’t want to work with me and make things right. After all, all the rep and supervisor did was redirect blame at my bank rather than take responsibility and genuinely apologize.

So ultimately, my time was wasted trying to order from AutoZone and I’ve learned to either use Walmart, Advance Auto, RockAuto, and Amazon instead since I’ve never had a single issue like this from any of them and for orders much more expensive even and through the same bank (for which I ended up ordering all $500 worth of equivalent parts that were on this order from Advance Auto instead, and for in-store pickup, for only $6 more than what this order was from AutoZone for delivery only, and there were no bank issues and everything went smoothly through them).

I’m going to speculate that the reason my original order was split into two transactions for one item I was charged for and the remaining items that were cancelled (for which two duplicate pending transactions are showing on my bank account for those remaining cancelled items of $436 which better go away because I’ll be even more upset if I have to call my bank to cancel them) was since some or all of those items weren’t really in-stock for next day delivery and rather than owning up to it an apologizing, they just cancelled the transaction and blamed my bank. Very shady business practices. They are now blacklisted by me. Not worth dumping time and money into them when I may spend slightly more money for a smooth and pleasurable buying experience elsewhere.

It’s 10 days later, 8/28/2025 I called them to see why it’s taking so long to deliver. They told me they need to check if it’s in stock. Amazon can deliver in 1-2 days. They can’t deliver in 10 days, they only offer a refund. They list things for sale that they don’t actually have, and can’t deliver. Don’t order from them if you actually need the part.

I discourage anyone from trying the AutoZone online shopping until they change consumer policy. They advertise a 20% discount on products if you purchase over $100 if sent to your home. However they give little discounts of $8 instead of the $20+ to keep you from getting your total above that amount for the greater discount. If you don't catch it at the point of sale... They don't honor the greater discount and you can't refuse the arbitrary little discounts they attached. If you call within a couple hours to change your sale or cancel then too late... They say they already shipped it... In California if a discount is offered and your subtotal is over the amount to trigger that discount... Then you better give that discount... Otherwise it is a bait and switch.

They have nothing which explains that the discount won't be granted based upon your subtotal. It is also false advertising to list one price then charge another. I will use my credit card to challenge since they won't help to change the cost or to cancel the sale. Customer service was always right and never the customer. Their shipping must be absolutely fantastic and far better than Amazon's to not be able to cancel the sale in less than 2 hours of clicking. I would hope that is true... Because online they originally said the product would come in two days and suddenly it's arriving the very next day preventing my canceling??

While ordering parts I noticed that my address was incorrect after trying to change it several times over 4 years. In-store, website, app and over the phone didn't help. When I placed the order I was asked delivery questions. I sent it to my address. The products were sent to the old address. I went to the old property to see if the owners were home and they were not, but I did see my products on the front porch. The owners had installed Ring doorbell. They were not home but left a message. I called the store that I frequently use and explained the situation. The employee told me to just take the items since my name was on the packages. She was advising me to commit a crime.

I called another store to report the incident and was advised to call the 1-800 number for the Rewards program for getting my address changed which I did two years ago and to resolve the issue of getting the products I ordered. I called a Rewards representative and explained the situation. I was told that I have to call the bank to stop payment. This was not my fault but I am expected to pay for a stop payment process and still not have the parts that I requested that should have been delivered where I requested on time as stated. I will never use home delivery again and may not use AutoZone again or suggest others to be a patron of the company. Wish I would have recorded the store call.

Good morning, as it is morning 5 o'clock when I decided to wake and use the bathroom. On this day, Which was glorious until around 12 noon or so I remembered I had a order at Auto which was already paid for but just need to be picked up. Again, I'm just leaving church and remembered the item that needs picking up, when I approach the entrance to Autozone. Only Auto Zone for miles but on this day, the same ** female that has an attitude every time I go in the store. She doesn't have an attitude problem with me every time but she has one, (attitude), with someone when she's there ever fine I visit.

Now on this day I'm picking up, already bought the item the previous day just want to pick up. I said my salutations and cautiously approach her. I don't say her name because she's the only ** woman that works there that's the manager. Looks like she's pregnant but she is not, sassy attitude like she has a chip on her shoulder. Chocolate chip don't know. I feel like you should be more friendly than she is and has been. I feel like going to other stores and not Auto Zone when encountered with resistance like this. On this day, she asks for my receipt and I don't think I have it, so I say casually, "I don't think I have it". Why did I say that, because now she goes off literally about if I was at target that you would have to have your receipt, if you ate at Walmart or the mall you would have to have your receipt.

I thought she was playing after 2 or three minutes of her ranting, but she wasn't. I got silent. She said, something about God giving her strength, but I couldn't respond. I was shocked at her customer service skills as a manager and the fact that This was routine. Come get my item that I bought yesterday with Daquan and very nice person that works there. She not nice and I haven't had a nice experience with her ever. I've commented on people at this Auto Zone with exemplary optimistic criticism. 5 stars for the store, now, but for this ** woman, if I could give her 0 stars I would but she gets 1 star for showing up for work and having on a decent uniform. I served in the Navy for 4 years and when you were unsat you were unsatisfactory. She is a unsatisfactory employee, manager of Auto Zone on Melrose Avenue.

I don't know if her personal life is bad or just being a woman in a male dominated field as her on edge everyday but this won't be my first or last comment on her. She really took me off guard this day because it was receipt. If you pay with a card or have a receipt on file she can put could've looked it up got my driver's license and sent me on my way. Instead drama. Her drama!! With her is drama. With her it's about her. Not the customer and as long as I've been alive whether at target Walmart the mall or bojangles the customer is right. I just want my item. That's it for me, JUST WANTED MY ITEM. I WILL BE COPYING THIS AND PUTTING IT ON FB AND OTHER SITES TILL SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT HER. Thank you, and have a blessed day.

I AM ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE A STAR IS REQUIRED TO POST! I WOULD PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS IF I COULD AFTER MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!!!! The store manager of store #**, Sergio V, has got to be by far the worst person I've encountered in life. I am an active-duty military member who has served 19 years of faithful and honorable service. In September 2022, I purchased a battery from this store and was told that my warranty was good for 3 years.

After I purchased this battery, I went out to sea and have been going back and forth until August 2024. Throughout the years, after I purchased the battery, I began having issues with my car shutting off. I've returned to this store several times and had employees tighten the battery. It still would constantly come loose. I've had it tightened every time I went for an oil change as this has been a constant issue. Yesterday, I was driving on the highway at 60 mph when my car shut off, halted, jerked me, and then came back on.

Today, March 21, 2025, I went into store #** to explain what was happening. An employee came out, looked at my battery, and said it was not the same battery I purchased. So, I asked him if they had input the wrong battery. Of course, they did not own up to their mistake or investigate why the wrong battery was placed in my car; they insinuated that I had the battery replaced after I purchased it and was trying to commit fraud.

So, they did not help me. I went to another store, and the manager investigated the problem and found out that I WAS NOT LYING because the battery predated the date of purchase. Once he investigated and proceeded to put in the correct battery, he said they put in a different battery because the original one I had purchased didn't fit—it was too small. All they needed to do was update their system to reflect the installed battery at the time of purchase.

Not only am I disappointed in the lack of customer service, but I'm also very concerned that the personnel working in this store do not have proper training in handling cars OR customers' needs and will one day be liable for killing someone. The manager is unfit for his job because he does not take responsibility for his store's actions. I am thankful to God that my situation did not result in an accident on the highway. However, I do recommend everyone take a picture of the battery they are putting in your car and make sure it matches your warranty. I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE!!!

When purchasing a set of brake pads for my car, I was upsold to a set of lifetime warranty pads for double the money but told never to pay for pads again. Several months later, I took the worn-out pads back and was told the LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY was for defective manufacturing and not for wear. I reviewed my cart and it showed with the promo deal your rotors are $47.44 each for a total of $94.88 (see attached picture)...Then they added brakes for $35.00 and made the total charges of $129.98!! Where did the free brakes go? Because instead of my total being 94.88 it ends up being 129.98!! That total came from adding the rotors 94.88 and breaks 35.00 together!! The email stated free brakes!! Not discounted brakes!! AutoZone do not live up to their promises when sending their loyal customers promo email deals!! Ashamed of you AutoZone!!

AutoZone is my favorite auto parts store in Orange because of the helpful/professional employees I meet there, who go above and beyond my expectations. On Friday afternoon (January 25), I called this store to ask about a car battery, and Tucker (not Carlson) answered the phone. He was very friendly/helpful on the phone. I went to the store and asked for Tucker. Before he sold me the battery, he took the time to check my battery first and did some testing. He was very respectful and made me feel like I was a VIP even though I was driving an old model Toyota Camry. I ended up not buying a car battery because he said that my battery was still good. I am truly grateful that I did not have to spend money that I did not have in the first place. Thank you, Tucker! Keep up the good work... you'll go very far with your great attitude! Apparently, they have been open less than a year. The place was extremely clean and organized. The manager, a tall, thin young guy waited on me. I am 70 and drive a 15 year old SRX Cadillac. I was just looking for three windshield wipers (I have one for my rear window) and wiper fluid. He looked it up, got them and after I paid he asked me if I wanted him to install them saying they can be tricky to install. He did. I was grateful seeing the hard time even he had putting them on. Then he graciously asked if I wanted him to install the washer fluid. I popped open the hood and he did. I have not gotten service like this for many decades.

Since O'Reilly was directly across the road, I called them and asked if they could send someone to jump our vehicles. They said they'd see what they could do. Twenty minutes later I hobbled across the highway (bad knee) and asked about my call. The four employees, who were standing around doing nothing, looked at one another like they had no clue what I was talking about. Finally one of the guys acknowledged the call and said that they 'technically' couldn't come over and jump out pickups. So instead of calling back to tell me this, they did nothing.

Finally a man happened by and jumped our vehicles and we both took our business to AutoZone, where, even though they had only two employees in the store, they were able to sell us our batteries and install them. Ironically the guy who jumped our pickups has a friend who is a regional manager for O'Reilly. I told him to tell his friend that O'Reilly failed today.

So about 3 years ago I purchased a set of brake pads for my van. On Fri 6-15 24, I go to the AutoZone "warehouse" to get a Warranty replacement set of pads. 1 employee and 1 manager was working. they asked how they could help and I said the pads are worn out and I need a new set. They whisper to each other and then look at me and say "We NO longer stock those brake pads" AND there isn't any available in a 150-mile radius. And then they just looked at me. Ok, so what am I supposed to do, I asked. The manager said, "Well you can order a new set online, it'll take a week to ship them. AND, there is a $8.00 shipping charge". Huh? "That's the best we can do;" I said, "That is totally unacceptable." No response. I looked at the screen and it shows my pads in stock, which I mentioned to them.

The manager replied, "Those are the pads, but not your set". "Huh, why are they not my set? Well, you have set D536, that set on the screen is the D536H. What's the difference," I asked. Set D536H, comes with shims the "H" stands for "Hardware". "Now my set is D536, costs $37.99, okay. And set D536H costs $37.99. why can't you just warranty them and you keep the shims?" "That's not how it works", he said. "You'll just have to order them." "I need those pads by no later than tomorrow." The Manager said, "That's not my problem."

The problem is AutoZone employs inexperienced people. Why, because they offer low pay, and need a person with a pulse to simply fill positions. So the D536 pads in general fits a Honda Odyssey. I also searched AutoZone's website from home and the D536H, pads do not show up under the listings. I went further and looked up the brake pads for my 2003 Honda Civic MKD465, only to find that they do NOT carry them in their stores either.

I expressed I had just come off of having some shoulder surgery and even though I had healed, certain movements were a bit awkward for me.

Once I found the proper items I was looking for, I asked if she could help me by putting the light in. She without a hesitation said she would be glad to help. She herself was a mechanic for the past 3 years. As she was putting on her gloves to help me, the manager Alexander G. came over as we were talking and she stated she was going to help me with putting my light in as I was showing her some pictures of my fixed shoulder with all the lovely metal and screws... I purchased about $100.00 or so of parts and he all of the sudden said he would give me a %20 discount due to my show and tell of my shoulder? I told him that was so nice but he didn't have to do that and he said, "No that is fine, we are glad to help." I was amazed at that offering.

The young lady went out to put in my new lights and we noticed that the light that was out was a little loose and when she touched it, it came on. She told me I could get my money back for the light, but I told her to please just change both out as what I got was a brighter light and better for seeing. The light was being a little pesky and wouldn't come out and nicely as she thought so he went back in the store to get another person to assist. He was supporting his teammate and they were able to get the light in and out very quickly. I was very pleased and thanked them for their time and help. They genuinely really wanted to help and were very pleasant.

Tonight I had an issue with my car being fubared when I went through a car wash and then went to cleaning it up on the inside. When I was ready to leave the carwash, my car wouldn't start and the dashboard was lit up, I had the car wash people jump-start me and I went directly back to Autozone for them to test my battery. Again this was about 10 PM. I walked in and saw the same manager there and asked them if they can check to see if my battery was good. Alexander G said, "Of course we can, we can run some other things for you as well." He used his machine and it came back that my starter is starting to go bad, but going to a mechanic to verify would be in order to confirm for sure.

He gave me a price on Autozone starters and the fact that I would get 40 dollars back If I bring the starter to them if I bought from them so they could recycle. He also spoke with my dad on the phone about a service where they work with someone who is a mobile mechanic to come to me and they have a commercial account with Autozone and gave me the number to call should I use them and the printed out the starters as well. I was impressed on the professionalism he had and he wasn't trying to sell me something, only giving me options and was very pleasant and happy to assist me as well as the other customers that were in the store at that time. In the background, I could hear an automatic voice stating that someone had ordered something that they needed to pick off the floor and the other people jumped right on it to prepare.

I am very pleased with the service I got and how they helped me especially late in the evening. It is hard to find a group of people who are sincerely like this and this makes a world of a difference for customers like me, especially a woman and they treated me with respect and didn't approach me like they were going to pull the wool over my eyes just to make the sale. I will recommend this place to my friends should they need help at any time.

I went to AutoZone to get some struts they said they could get for my car, now at the Ford Dealership they are $750 per front side and Autozone side they could get them for $503, But they ordered the wrong parts, I have a MKC and they ordered a MKZ, one is an SUV and the other is a sedan. During Church the person that I purchased the vehicle from he said that he ordered and they ordered the wrong parts, so after church I reviewed the parts on their website and yea, the wrong parts. So, Monday I went to Autozone and they were helpful in giving my money back, and they told me I should have my refund back into my account by the end of the day.

Well this morning I review my account and it wasn't there, so I called customer service and they explain that it takes 3 to 5 days to be refunded. I told her that we are not made of money and I need to get these parts so I can get my car repaired, and she said that "IT WAS THEIR POLICY". So I told her that I would never use Autozone again and I will do everything in my power to put out bad reviews. I know that really worried her. But I'm tired of big business taking advantage of us and think they can do anything they want. Only reason I had to get a 1 start, it wouldn't let me skip it.

If you were going to sell Duralast gold batteries as a premium battery for more money, you should stand behind it. Today’s date is September 15, 2023. I have a battery that’s dated January 2023 and they will not warranty it. Around 12:30pm the store itself calls me to let me know it's getting brought to them at 2:30pm, then will be on its way to me..no worries there.. I'm not in a rush. At 1:30pm the website randomly cancels my order without communicating with me or, apparently, the store either. The reason for cancelling was because the product wasn't in stock...which we knew and was in the process of being resolved. Online support people couldn't undo the cancellation without double-charging me. Their online system is a complete mess. Within 15 months both were shot. Went in purchased them again and asked about warranty, told me no problem just bring them in and they would refund the initial purchase because they were still under warranty and didn't last. I asked about the new pads and rotors and salesman said they also had a lifetime and 2 year warranty.

15 months later both are shot again. Bring them in and new salesman tells me the rotors are out of warranty because they applied the previous warranty exchange to the last purchase not the original purchase, which he says was a screw up see the manager. 3 days later manager finally working he says, "Too bad for you everything is warrantied from initial purchase date. After that everything must be repurchased." However, if I would have returned the rotors first they would have been applied correctly, I could have then bought the new ones and warranty would still be active. Samuel said that the inventory for the Duralast was also incorrect. Hence why he emailed a 20% off code, that I could use for online orders for instore purchases.

Samuel said on June 2nd that he had called the nearby AutoZone store located in Columbia MD and Laurel MD and they informed him that they do not have the struts in stock. I had called shortly afterwards and was informed otherwise, and they confirmed that they did not receive any calls from an AutoZone online customer support representative and had even put the struts on the hold shelf for me. Two nearby locations had the two front Duralast brand struts in stock, and currently still do. The credit did not get released until today, attempted to use the 20% off coupon that was emailed to me by **, Samuel, but it had expired.

Called to try to receive a replacement 20% coupon that is not expired that I can utilize online for instore pick up. I was told to use the current online 20% promotion which is JUNESAVINGS, which can only be used for ship to home online orders only, which is a huge inconvenience to have to wait to receive the struts if the warehouse has them in stock, which I had confirmed with an AutoZone store associate from a nearby location that they had called and confirmed they do not have either brands in stock at the warehouse.

The representative that I had spoken to over the phone from AutoZone online customer service had informed me that they do have the Duralast brand struts in stock, without calling the warehouse to confirm, and since I was already inconvenienced and do not want to be inconvenienced any further I had asked if I could be emailed a coupon that is equivalent to what I would have saved utilizing what was equivalent to the 20% memorial coupon that was used during the transaction that was canceled or the 20% coupon that was emailed to me that I did not get a chance to utilize prior to its expiration which was PROJECTTIME.

The online customer service representative informed me that she can only send a max of a 25 dollar off coupon that I could utilize in the store. Mail me out a 15-dollar gift card which I would have to wait for and a 10-dollar coupon. In addition, when I had spoken to the in-store AutoZone representatives that had the Duralast brand front struts in stock they had said they can only apply a 10% off discount and had said unfortunately since it was an online purchase it would have to be rectified by calling online customer support. I am mortified by this experience and will take my business elsewhere. I have never had a bad experience with AutoZone before and I have not only worked for AutoZone, but I have been a loyal customer for years. I will go to Advance Auto Parts where they value me as a customer.

The battery was under warranty, and he was already assisting another customer with the same problem! He finished him and came immediately to us! What a great light in a very dark situation! This morning I had an unpleasant experience with the manager of AutoZone on 2955 Van Buren Bvd Space G1, Riverside, CA 92503. An experience I had never encountered before and which I did not think was possible. My husband called this store to ask about a power steering pump and asked the person with whom he was on the phone to put it on hold so that he would come later to pick it up. In an hour, I went to pick up that part. Still, it was not in the hold, the person he spoke to on the phone was not in the store, but while two employees were looking for the part, another employee entered the store and said that she was the one who spoke on the phone and simply said that " I never put it in the hold. " When I heard this, I asked just a simple question: Is it sense to call ahead and ask you to hold certain parts? One of them said they were very busy and did not have time.

My mistake was that I looked in the store where there were only two customers(including me), and I remarked, "The store doesn't seem too busy today." The manager (later I found out that she was the store manager) said that I offended her employees and she doesn't allow such a thing and that she won't sell me anything, that she has the right to refuse me. I asked her why she rejected me, just because I noticed that the employees didn't do their job correctly? Then she threatened me that she would call security. I asked again why she needed protection. I didn't make a scene, and I didn't shout at them. I didn't swear at them, and only I remarked that it didn't seem like a busy day.

She replied that she had a legal right to refuse me and would do so. Then I saw that she abused her function, and I said, well, my husband needs that pump, and I apologized to them and wanted to buy it, but in vain, she abused her position, saying that she had the right to refuse me and she doesn't wouldn't sell me anything. Then she abusively told me to leave the store, or she would call the police. I asked again why she needed the police? I didn't do anything wrong; I was just upset because her employees didn't do their job correctly, but I didn't yell at them; I wasn't abusive to shout something in the store. Of course, I left saying I would do a bad review and a complaint to BBB.

I'm not asking you to take my word for it; check the recording on the surveillance cameras, and you'll be convinced that my voice will barely be heard. I speak English with an accent, so I do not like to talk much and do not yell. She wanted to look like she was on the side of her employees, which wasn't bad if she wasn't abusing her position toward a customer. I consider her attitude was abusive because of my accent and even racist.

The order still hadn't shipped after 24 hours so I contacted AutoZone and was told it would ship the next day. After 4 days, no shipment. I called again and was told it would be delivered in 3 days. No shipment. I've called for a third time (now having spent over an hour on the phone (for a measly $10 reimbursement) to cancel the order and I am being told they will not cancel it or refund the money because FedEx has to pick it up. It's canceled- there's nothing to pick up anymore.

I'm not sure where the incompetence lies, from the warehouse, to the customer service, to the supervisors, it's baffling that no one can get a straight answer. It's even more insane to think that's a third party logistics company has anything to do with a transaction between AutoZone and their customer. If an order is canceled and has not shipped, why does Fed Ex have anything to do with refunding the order? Alas, I'm standing at the register to buy the brakes from Advanced Auto Parts as I'm writing this. AutoZone is ridiculously messy. I'm curious of how long it's going to take to get my money back, or if I'm going to be stuck in limbo for that too. BUYER BEWARE

She put it on hold for me. I needed one right away so I drove there to get it. I walked in and the counter person, Tim, told me they didn't have it and that Colleen should have called to have them check to see that it was actually there. While I was at the counter, I called the Lockport store. Colleen said that the muffler was showing in stock. I handed the phone to Tim and he told her she should have called first. And that was it. No apology. Nothing.

I understand that Colleen should have called first. But Tim's attitude was so bad that I'm never shopping at Autozone again. The entire time he had a smarmy grin on his face and was obviously enjoying himself. I asked to speak to the manager... He WAS the manager! OK fine. May 9, 2021, I ordered and purchased two Duralast brake rotors and Duralast Gold Brake Pads. With a discount, the total came to $144.56. On May 13, the product was said to be delivered. What arrived was a skinny box that stands about 3' in height and weighing 1.1 lb. Inside was one wiper blade, with my receipt of the brakes and rotors. I waited two days before calling, thinking my correct package was on the way, and this one was sent in addition, in error.

After checking my order status online and seeing that my order was labeled "delivered," I called the number provided on the receipt. (I called on May 15, May 18, June 1, and June 3.) After the 25 days since the initial order and no delivery of my paid order, I hopefully made my final call to Autozone. I asked how to get the order to me ASAP as the product has been direly needed. Can I drop the wiper off at AutoZone/FedEx, pay for the (non needed) wiper, leave the wiper on my porch??? Or refund me my money to purchase the items elsewhere? The operator's resolve was to refund me my money.

The courses of action that were taken prior to the decision never came to fruition. Let it be known they could not ship me my ($145.00) paid-for order until the ($15) wiper blade was returned. I was more than happy to return a product I have zero use for, nor never ordered. They needed me to print a label (I indicated I do not have a printer), so a label was to be mailed to me in 48 hours. When it was never received, I called back. The operator said that it is not possible to mail a label; instead, they will have FedEx come pick up the package. I waited a few days, and that also did not happen. As a consumer, I chose to order online for ease, but realized, in this case, it has all but cost me time, frustration, and nerve recking moments as this car is on the road for MANY hours each day. Now I will wait to see if I receive my refund. As history would show, you can understand my uneasiness, that it may not happen.

I ordered 2 remanufactured cylinder heads to go on a new Subaru engine 1-28-2020 and they were installed January 31 of 2020. My car was exhibiting issues with intermittent rough idle and a check engine light in the second week of January 2021 and everything pointed to misfires so I went ahead and replaced all spark plugs and wires (all Subaru) since it was time anyway and the car ran a little better and then got progressively worse.

In March my car went in for a re-diagnosis because it was running rough. A leak down test was done and it was determined that water was getting into a combustion chamber. The shop was busy and my car was put on the back burner at the time due to staffing issues due to the pandemic and I had another car to drive so I told them to get to it when they could, and we thought that a head gasket failed, which had a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty so I told them to just do it when they could.

We finally got a chance to tear the engine down (last week!) and found that the right cylinder head had a crack in it. I tried to put in a warranty claim but the rebuilder and a manager at AZ said no. My warranty claim had to have been put in within the 12 months. I gave the representative at NuTech the dates and miles at time of failure and they didn't care, citing they had to follow AZ's policy. I had the left cylinder head sent out to be checked and it was found to have had .010 too much material taken off during resurfacing so it was unable to be used again. This means that the left head was shipped to me under-specced from the start and I suspect that they missed a hairline crack in the right one that got progressively worse.

I'm out another $570 for another set of heads plus whatever labor this is going to cost me. I ordered another set of cylinder heads elsewhere. Oh, and this is after only putting 4,385 miles on a brand new Subaru engine, with new Subaru head gaskets, and all work performed by a Subaru technician at a Subaru shop. Maybe I should've driven that car more so it could have failed quicker.

I brought a picture of my old battery (that came with the car when I bought it new in 2015) with all of its information so they could make sure they got me a similar one but they didn’t want to even look at it because “their system would be able to tell which battery I needed.” Turns out their system is wrong because my car wouldn’t start after two days with the new battery so I had to have it brought to the dealership who informed me that AutoZone gave me the completely wrong battery type.

After spending over $450 at the dealership for the new battery and labor, I went back to the AutoZone but the manager refused to compensate me for the hundreds of extra dollars I had to spend because of their mistake. I even brought in the paperwork from the dealership who fixed it and noted that the wrong battery was in the car, but the manager double-downed and claimed that AutoZone gave me the correct battery which is clearly wrong because 1) the battery couldn’t even hold a charge for 2 days and 2) the HYUNDAI dealership knows what kind of battery to put in a HYUNDAI.

In summary, completely terrible customer service, AutoZone refused to admit their own mistake, and they won't compensate a customer at all for spending over $450 because of their mistake. There is both an O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and Advanced Auto Parts right down the street from this store so there really is no reason to go here for anything. Also, I wouldn’t go to any AutoZone store for a battery because they won't even have the correct battery since their system is clearly wrong.

FedEx Tracking # ** was supposed to be delivered Friday but was not as today is Saturday. The problem was that the FedEx plane broke down which is not an act of God. FedEx in their zeal to keep falling in customer service has scheduled it for Monday. When I contacted FedEx, they claimed that they could not deliver because AutoZone did not request Saturday or Sunday delivery, which has an extra fee. I argued with them that since their plane broke down, they should make it up by delivering on Saturday or Sunday.

Maybe you don't care since FedEx screwed up, but their screw up reflects on your customer service, which is still showing Friday delivery. Your company should update your delivery date by coordinating with FedEx. A customer should not be having to check with FedEx or argue about delivery for a part that AutoZone sold and shipped! Today you have earned 1 star out of 5 or POOR rating in customer service!

Thursday afternoon it had not arrived so I check the order for him and it says cancelled. So he calls them and they tell him if he goes online, re-orders, and then calls them right back they will ship it out with overnight shipping and it will be here Friday. So he makes another order and calls them - their rep and the site assured him it would be here Friday.

Friday, at 5pm, we get a notice that it's finally shipped but it won't be here until MONDAY. How is that overnight shipping? So we will have to find the part in store tomorrow. They told me initially they would cancel the order with FedEx and refund him. I said, "Let him call you back about it first because I need to make sure there is one in store we can get to tomorrow."

So we did that and he called back for his refund, and they would not give it to him! He called me, asked if I could help him sell the part so he could get his money back! I had to call back and have someone handle it, so at that point we had talked to about six people in total - and then they hung up on me! I finally got a 'refund confirmation' full of typos. Evidently, whoever resealed and relabeled the set had not actually verified that the set was complete. So I had to return the set to my local store, and re-place the order. To Fel-Pro's credit, they label their products "Not Returnable If Opened", so why AutoZone thought it was acceptable to place an opened set back in inventory is inexplicable. My husband purchased a fuel pump from this store, again, helped by young kids who don’t know what they are doing. For some reason they couldnt get the transaction to show in their system.

My husband called me from the store and asked me to check the card to see if the money had been taken out. It was. Purchase completed. This didnt matter to them. I was told to call about it the next day and find out what was going on. I did. No one knew anything. I spoke with the manager several days after and she said she didnt know anything but would work on it (Brittany) and call me back. She never did. I called later that evening and one of the mouthy young kids named Andrew told me the part was taken to the local police station. Apparently, even though I have proof that the item was paid for, they claimed that my husband stole it.

My husband is a delivery driver in retail, if any such charge should show on his record he would be fired immediately. I am on social security, if there is a crime on my record, it could affect my social security benefits. Again, we did NOT steal anything, it was paid for and the money deducted from my card. I called the local police station and talked to an officer. He told me that no one did any such thing from AutoZone that day and that they would not take or hold property as it is a civil matter. So, the “Andrew” kid lied just to threaten and scare me.

I then called the regional office at Autozone and spoke with the secretary for the man that is responsible for a number of stores. She assured me that this situation would be rectified today. I don’t know why I thought I would, I received no call back and no message. I warned them that if it wasn’t reconciled today, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 that I intended to go to district court and file a civil suit against that store for keeping the deposit and the part and not paying me for it being returned. I guess they dont care.

So, in order to make sure that this situation does not get to the point where my husband will have something on his record to lose his job, we have to sue them for $106 because they are idiots. PLEASE AVOID THIS STORE BECAUSE YOU MAY END UP IN THE SAME SITUATION AND THEY COULD ABSOLUTELY CARE LESS!

They made a bunch of excuses non Covid related, said I would get an email about my cancellation as I ended up requesting. Still nothing. I used to go here but won't anymore. I'll get my warranty parts replaced but I won't be back for new ones. Any other parts place I'm going there first.

I had ordered three simple items for a simple job, to change the oil in my truck. I ordered a oil pan, filter and 5w-30 for next day shipping. I never got it the next day or the day after. I had gotten two emails saying that they were delivered but they were not. I waited almost a week and I got one box that had the oil pan. I sent an email to AutoZone asking them what was going on with my order. All I got was basically were working on it. A few days later I got the filter, then a few days after that I got the 5w-30 oil, the oil was not in a box at all, they slapped shipping stickers on the bottle of oil and sent it out, that's it. I paid for next day shipping for three simple items and it took almost two weeks to get them.

I buy parts and a yr goes by and I need warranty. Parts are covered under warranty but they can't find that I've purchased them. So I call and complain and they say that it just happens. This isn't the first or second part that this has happened with. Management is absolutely no help.

Needed to recharge my auto a/c coolant and purchased it from AutoZone in Woodstock, 92 & Main St. I am a retired widow and try to live within my means by doing as much as I can, so I count on trading with local merchants. It is 96 degrees and I need my air conditioning! The new canister of coolant was not working and I asked for help. NOPE!!! Was refused. Told me they could change out a battery, but would not assist plugging in the coolant or even observe me doing it. Just plain stupid if you ask me. Didn't mind selling me the stuff at a higher price though. I could be buying my auto supplies elsewhere, but have stuck with my neighborhood store. They used to be worth going to. Well, no more! They have lost my business! I would give negative 3 stars if I could.

The associate, Julian G., looked very professional, was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and also helped to install it for me. And with the world the way it is right now, it was extremely nice to know that there are still are some OUTSTANDING individuals out there, such as Mr. Julian G. Thank you so much. SUZANNE T.???

I wanted to buy a 60-piece socket set. AutoZone said that they were discontinued and they didn't have it and couldn't get it anymore on the shelves so the next day I went in and I still seen that empty box on the shelf with the price tag on it like it's on sale and yet they don't have it so why is it on display like they have it.

Autozone as a whole Company, I cannot complain it nothing about it, but when is about promotions or rebates that are not applied at the store and it has to be processed either online or mail in; it's such a painful and slow process; but the worst part is when you call to fix any discrepancy on their Autozone Rebate center. They will treat you like a complete idiot, stupid or ignorant person. They just don't care about you, and be expected to be hanged out on the phone call with the excuse, "I might have to disconnect the call, and have a nice day" literally what they are telling you is: just go ** word your self.

Local stores are a ripoff. If you Google a part, Autozone will show the part at a price you can't get from your local store. When they look up a part in the store, it's usually wrong and you need to return it. Autozone makes a LOT of money for the greedy corporate guys that run the company, they could care less about their customers.

Purchased battery 4/26/2017 with 5 (five) yr warranty at Autozone 5769. Battery died so took it in today, 7/4/2020, for replacement. Rather than charging us only the prorated amount the salesman rang up one receipt totaling 74.08 (prorated amt plus core chrg) although core chrg should not have been applicable at all since battery was with us. Then rang up a 2nd receipt totaling 206.50 (cost for new battery 169.99, core charge plus tax MINUS then the 74.08 from the 1st receipt for a balance owing of 132.42) WTF???? The original battery still had prorated warranty. Why would I not be ONLY responsible for the cost of the prorated amount under the warranty left on the battery that I was upsold on back in 2017? You are now stating I must then pay for the difference in cost of another battery for close to the same cost of the battery from 2017. Robert the mgr was of no help. THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

I went in to AutoZone to buy replacement head light bulbs. The employee gave me the wrong light. It said fog lights on it and I ask just to be sure and he said it’s the same. It will work. I paid over $100 dollars for the pair. After I installed I noticed it was not working properly. I returned them and I picked out the bulbs. I also asked for another bulb for side marker. I even took the employee to my car and point out which one I need and again a different employee gave me the wrong bulb which I paid around $7. I returned it and ask will my money go back to my debit card. He said yes but I never insert my card for the return and was told I would get it back. I never got my refund and I’m am just so disappointed that a company so big could screwed me out of my money. I felt all the employee in this store were young and not knowledgeable. If I am not contacted I will never go to any autozone again.

My car broke down. I went to AutoZone in Levittown NY 11756 to get the part. I used my card to pay for the part $158. They took my money the same day out of my bank account but the same day I return my core of $43. It has been 5 days. This is not fair. I went back to autozone. I was told the person who I need to talk to was not available. 3 different times I got the same answer. Autozone took my money within minutes but how long I need to wait for my refund if I ever going to get it back. Aging is not fair.
