I had a good experience with AmeriFreight. The carrier said they were gonna arrive on Saturday. They arrived on Thursday, which was good that it was early, but I was still in Texas. I had to get somebody to pick it up for me. Getting there multiple days early sounds good, but it caused a lot of stress. But AmeriFreight was professional. Their service was great.

Kallie was super helpful when my car was being transported from LA to NJ. She answered all of my questions and concerns which I appreciated! She kept in touch with me until the car delivered. Anytime I had a question about my car I was able to reach her and she replied at a timely manner.

Pickup, transport, and delivery were timely and as expected. The only hitch was trying to pay the delivery driver with Zelle, as we had been assured would be acceptable. He provided an email which was not sufficient to set up the payment. We were able to make payment another way.

Working with Brooke ** on shipping my car to my grandson was a great experience. She was very professional and helpful in answering all my questions and helping us get my car shipped. The whole procedure went very smooth and I felt no pressure. I would highly recommend Amerifreight to anyone who wants to ship their vehicle.

There are cheaper places out there but the reps at AmeriFreight were nice. I could call or email for questions. However, the driver was wearing sandals with no socks. It was unprofessional. Also, he couldn't speak English at all. I couldn't communicate with him. If I would have known, I would probably not have gone with them. I didn't get any kind of warning the guy didn't speak English. He used a Google translate on his phone and tried to call the boss a couple times. But even with Google translate, it was not efficient. The name is deceiving ‘cause you think they hire people that speaks English.

Transported Mercedez Benz GLE 350 from LA to detroit. Got transport scheduled in an exact day for very reasonable price. SUV arrived in great condition. No problems and very accommodating. I tried a few other carriers who were quoting up to $800 over what Amerifreight charged. 5 star.

The experience with the transport organizer was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable and kept in constant communication. I really enjoyed working with her. During the pickup, the driver parked the trailer in front of the house and loaded the vehicle. At the other end, we're in a very rural area and we were able to utilize the church parking lot next door. We just drove the buggy just across the property. It arrived in the same condition as when we put it on the trailer. The movers were very personable.

The experience was easy and the driver was a total nice guy. At first I was nervous about car arriving in good shape. But no worries all good. My experience using AmeriFreight to transport my Toyota 4Runner SUV across USA was outstanding. The price, the employees, the transporter and communications were great. My contract was easy to understand and to execute. AmeriFreight and my transporter were always available by phone and answered all my concerns and questions. Pickup and delivery were on time and hassle free. My AmeriFreight team assigned transporter were a super professionals. I could not have expected a better experience than the one I had using AmeriFreight.

The booking itself was seamless, When I ran into a problem with the carrier at the pick up in San Francisco and called AmeriFreight, my representative told me there was nothing she could do that I was better off, handling it directly myself. The communication with the driver was horrible and he kept me on hold waiting over six hours. I’ve shipped several cars across the country in the past and never had a broker like this drop the ball.

I was TERRIFIED to move my dad’s restored 1966 Thunderbird across the state. He passed away earlier this year and it needed to be moved before the winter. I contacted Amerifreight and had a wonderful guy working on my contract and navigating me through the process. They knew how important it was that this car arrived safely and took that concern seriously. Initially, it was a little confusing, but that could have been more on my part not understanding the process. But once I talked to one individual, she explained everything to me and followed up with me with the process of how everything would happen. We got the vehicle. There were no additional scratches, blemishes or anything that I could visually see on the vehicle. The gentleman who delivered it to us was polite and kind. It went well. Their cost was also fair.

AmeriFreight was great the first time we used them so I went with them again. The auto moving industry can be disreputable and I had one that worked so I stuck with it. The quote was around the same price if not a little bit cheaper than the quote I got. Setting up the move was all online and it was super smooth and good. Every rep that I’ve had has a cell phone number that I can contact so it’s super easy. The person who initially set me up for the delivery ended up getting taken off and somebody got switched to me, but it was seamless when they switched. I shipped a Subaru the first time and a Jetta the second time. A friend of mine had to receive the delivery because I was driving across the country at the time. But it was great. It was cash on delivery and I just Venmo'd my friend some cash. He was there to sign for. Everything was all good and the car was in perfect shape. People should use AmeriFreight.

Amanda from Amerifrieght was outstanding getting my Jeep shipped to Indiana. I was on a strict time line for the Jeep to arrive and thought I was in trouble when the truck scheduled to pick up my Jeep broke down. I immediately called Amanda who understood my situation and got to work getting me another carrier within an hour she had one and I was able to keep on schedule. I moved my truck cross country. The Amerifreight rep that I worked with was an awesome individual. His name is Reginald. He was really good. He was a very helpful person. He cared and he was forthright and honest. He explained to me that Amerifreight worked on a bidding system. He was very honest about the process. Once I understood what the process was, it became easier to understand the whole bidding process. The pick-up was easy. There were some hiccups on the delivery. There was a miscommunication on the tail end of it. But it all worked out. The whole team was very helpful. They were always available. For me, the most important thing was that I got a live human being every time I called. It wasn't a voicemail. I got a person that I could speak to that was able to track the progress.

AmeriFreight's customer service was wonderful. The quote was outstanding. I was surprised by it. Also, I was kept up-to-date 24/7 no matter what. The rep texted, emailed, or called me for any updates. It was worth what I paid for. I've recommended AmeriFreight to my military buddies.

I cannot express enough how amazing Brooke was!! I was in a situation where I had to get a vehicle from California to Wisconsin - and somewhat urgently. **.... I have my car four days later posted job on the 26th November at 1300 PST and got my car in Corpus Christi TX on the 30th at 1900 CST. They initially gave me the cheapest quote to companies like Montway and Roadrunner. However I will say not realistic, any shipping going mid country expect it to be 1200. If quoted for 900 it will be closer to 1200....If you want it soon, if wanting to pay around quote price might take awhile for someone to take the job. I opted to pay extra to get my car to me so I could turn back the rental car sooner. The customer representative was good about communicating all the details and any changes as they came up.

My entire experience with AmeriFreight (and Christine ** in particular) was top notch. The entire process went smoothly. The level of communication and customer service was excellent. I am active duty military currently stationed in South Korea. I purchased a 1969 Mercury Cougar from EBay to give my dad for his 70th birthday. The vehicle was located in Texas and I needed to ship to New York. I was skeptical about using AmeriFreight as the quote was much lower than every other company. The customer service was amazing, I was only able to communicate through chat and text, which was no problem. The vehicle was picked up one day later and arrived at location in great shape!

Update: I received a phone call from a manager at Amerifreight and she listened to my concerns. Then she issued me a partial refund (about 6%). I do appreciate the kindness.

Cashmir had a driver lined up within a day after taking the order. The car was picked up the next day and moved from Boston to Chicago in less than 24 hours. The driver alerted us in advance and everything went very smoothly. Very fast. Flawless. Efficient. Good price. Cashmir worked with me to get the job ahead of schedule and kept me informed throughout process. I could not have asked for more. Great job!!!

The rep with AmeriFreight was helpful. It was within two weeks that I needed to get the car shipped and he was able to get everything done quickly and efficiently. Whenever I had a question, they responded within a reasonable amount of time. The cost was the same as what we paid another time that I had to ship my car in the same distance. The only thing I was a little surprised by was the pick-up time was earlier than the window that I expected. The truck driver called me a few hours ahead but I was scrambling a little bit. At one point, I was wondering where my car was. But they gave me an exact date and communicated whenever I reached out to them. During the delivery, they called a few hours ahead again. The road where I live has a restricted access area and the truck wasn't gonna be able to fit into the street that goes into the neighborhood so we met at a location right outside. The last time I had it delivered as well, we had to meet up in a parking lot.

I spoke to a nice lady at AmeriFreight who explained everything well. They were gonna pick the vehicle up on a Tuesday but they ended up not being able to get there until Wednesday morning. Then they got it to me Friday morning. When I got the car, the battery was dead, and I was angry. I immediately took the car after they jumped it to a shop and had them check the battery. They said the battery is fine. That lead me to believe that the guy probably turned the car on and slept in it because it was cold and he needed some heat. Additionally, the cost was a little bit more than I would have liked to have paid, and I had to call them versus them calling me about where we were in the process. But overall, they did a good job from their office in Atlanta.

I used AmeriFreight to ship a car from Michigan to California. They acted as the third party agency and contracted with VB Auto Group to do the actual shipping. The experience was great. Not cheap, but great. They picked up my car Wednesday morning and dropped it off in California on Friday night. Not sure how they did it, but they did. AmeriFreight contacted me several times to keep me updated on the status and to check on my satisfaction. Really happy with the experience and I'd highly recommend them.

Lisa was the AmeriFreight rep I worked with. She was consistent, was calling back to check on me, and was offering any other services that I may need, like storage. She gave me a lot of information. The guy that picked up the car was very organized. The guy was punctual and very caring when they loaded the car. The guy knew what he was doing. The guy had experience and assured me. It was like sending your child to college. I have the most respect for that driver. I thought he was gonna bring it up all the way. But once they got it here, I had to get it from a local person. But even that person at the end, the second driver was very punctual, on time and considerate. It made the whole event very easy for me and less stressful. I appreciate that.

When I emailed the AmeriFreight rep, she was really down-to-earth, so I decided to go with her. The transport was from Vermont to Tampa. The pick-up was easy. The guy was really nice. He gave me his card so I could call him. He delivered it down the road from where my son is. My son said that was awesome too. He got to go after work, so he didn't have to miss work. It was great. It was a little more expensive than I thought, but I definitely like them. I would definitely use them again.

AmeriFreight made the whole process comfortable. It wasn't the first time I talked to people about the transport, and the person I had contact with at AmeriFreight did an outstanding job. She was very professional, and I was very appreciative of it. She explained everything too. I had no questions after the conversation, and everything worked out. The driver knew what was going on as far as drop-off and pick-up. He picked up the car on a Saturday and dropped it off Friday (midnight Thursday). The transport was expensive, but everybody else was in the ballpark and the one person that was cheaper never picked up my car.

I had a Toyota Camry shipped from Louisiana to Nebraska, and it arrived in good condition. The driver picked it up from a family member and delivered it to me, and he called before pickup and before delivery.

They met the needs that we needed. We shipped three trucks from Florida to Texas and they were able to find a carrier that would accept PayPal 'cause our bank wouldn't allow us to pay other apps. They also stayed in touch. Everything was really easy. The cost was also reasonable. It was about 1,000 per truck. If we have to ship more trucks, we'll use them again.

AmeriFreight quoted me 1,200, then I had to wait two weeks. I was put on a wait list to see if the company could take me and the company that was able to take me was at 1,700. My car was picked up in Fishkill, New York, and it took two weeks to get to Portland, Oregon. The driver was good and nice. He gave me an address when he got here to meet him at, and I ended up meeting him there.

The first time I used AmeriFreight was a year ago. We go back and forth between Seattle and Miami. We used another company, and twice, they were not good, so I decided to look for another company. I spoke with Robin from AmeriFreight and decided on the transport. We have two different vehicles that we transport back and forth, and it's a long haul. The three different drivers that we've experienced while using this company have been professional, on time, communicating, and so does Robin. I like that Robin calls to check to make sure that I spoke with the driver. The drivers came and everything went well. My vehicles came intact, and they delivered when they said they're gonna deliver.

The driver picked up my Mazda Miata and he must have been 6'5. He said, "I don't know if I'm gonna fit in this, ma'am." I said, "Well, you're gonna have to 'cause I'm not gonna drive it up that route." He got in the vehicle, and his knees were probably up to his nose but he did it. He picked up the vehicle about 10:30 from North Carolina, and it arrived in perfect condition in Naples, Florida the next morning. It was horrible weather all the way through, and I thought, "Oh, my gosh, this poor guy was driving this vehicle." We have not had any rain and all it's done is rain since he left. Still, the driver delivered the vehicle and he had no problems that I know of. Overall, Amerifreight did a good job, and I was totally satisfied with the transport. I had no qualms about what they charged as well. The price was very fair, and I was able to put some things in the trunk too.

Carvan was awesome. She helped with all our needs and was there when we ran into a issue with the driver. She stood by us and made this journey across the country as easy as possible. I would recommend this company 100%. They did what they said they would do.

The original pickup date was not met. Driver picked up the next day, causing some schedule conflicts on the San Antonio end. The delivery to West Berlin, NJ was done as scheduled with no issues. There was some confusion on the part of the Driver with the payment. My Cashier's check was made out to Amerifreight as agreed upon, but driver was saying that it should have been made out to him. Not sure how, since I didn't even know his full name. Overall, the shipment experience was good, the cost was fair and the truck was delivered in the same condition, as when it left TX. I'd use Amerifreight again in the future.

I've used AmeriFreight and Harry ** twice to transport vehicles across the country. I've been very pleased with their service as well as with the carriers that they used. They communicated very well and were where they said they would be at the appropriate time. When I need to have another vehicle transported, I'll call Harry at AmeriFreight.

Had a cancellation and a no show before AmeiFreight found someone. Cost me a ton of time and money to fix it. Drivers were supposedly "5 Star" but were not. Asked for Manager to call me - NEVER CALLED!! No one there on the weekend if you need help either - you are just screwed! I would not recommend them. Their Management does not care as long as they get their fee.

Pickup was on time and on the date I specified, and delivery was 2 days earlier than expected. No damage and the car was picked up and delivered door-to-door. My initial contact and signing of agreement went well. Since, I was leaving Maine and returning to AZ, it was important that arrangements for transport be made prior to my departure. There was an uncertain period wherein I did not receive sufficient communications to know that transport would take place. At last minute, I did receive confirmation that transport would happen and then all went well after that. The transport driver kept me sufficiently informed and the pickup process went smoothly.

The first company mishandled my tight timeline and AmeriFreight was able to get my car picked up just in time for our move to Florida. Amerifreight is a very reliable service provider and Sy ** was nothing but helpful throughout the entire process. Very professional and would contact me any time there was an update, and he kept me very informed. I greatly appreciate that. Moving is a stressful process and his professionalism and kindness made things much easier for me. I would NOT recommend using Royal Star Inc, one of their contractors, however. Not only did they show up incredibly late to pick up my car, making a proper inspection impossible in the dark, but they did not deliver on the promised date, which threw off the entire schedule of my move. This is NOT Amerifreight's fault though, and I would still absolutely use them in the event I need to ship my car again.

I had never shipped a car before. AmeriFreight was the ONLY company that spent time with me and explained how the bidding and pricing process works (and trust me, it's not like you think). I wasted a week with other companies, canceled those orders, signed with AmeriFreight and had my car in two days. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but the information and guidance they give you is invaluable. They earned all of my future business.

The experience was simply full of holes and misstatements. The "insurance" was not really insurance, which was a waste of my money. I was told that the person driving would deliver the car to my son on a specific day, and that changed at the last minute. I was told that the car would remain on the truck until it arrived in Kansas City/Leawood, and one driver would take it all the way through...That turned out to be untrue. In fact, we were called the night before to tell us that we needed to pay the driver (the new one) for the delivery, when I had paid cash (one of your options) to the original driver. Although they later learned from the first driver that this request was not correct, they delivered the car, as it was paid for in full when it left Naples. The whole experience was terrible, full of holes that left me knowing that the next time, it won't be AmeriFreight. Tell the truth, tell the customer what is real and not what gets them the job. It was a simply awful experience.

We didn’t judge how many boxes we would need. They hired another truck and took our boxes and put them in larger boxes. My large sailboat in a glass case was turned sideways and broke the boom and front sail boom. I had it securely wrapped but he insisted that he tape a blanket over it, obscuring the way it needed to be handled. They dumped our clothes in wardrobe boxes with non clothing items. To be fair they worked fast and were efficient. It just broke my heart they took a $3,000 handmade sailboat and turned it on its side. We had to very gingerly set it back on its cradle and fit the large glass case over it.

Process was painless. I was skeptical because of the low price but my baby arrived unscathed! I'll be using you again in the future. The entire process was done online as I don't have a lot of time to task on the phone but it worked out perfectly. Thank you guys for everything that you've done.

The reps were able to give the inputs needed and everything was good. The driver was from another company that AmeriFreight picked and he contacted me. He picked up the car from my apartment and delivered it after a week in Massachusetts. They were not able to come in the correct timeline they promised but it was a one-day delay and I was able to manage that.

The transport with AmeriFreight was a great experience. As far as communication, it was always an email or I'd make a phone call. I set it up early compared to when I needed it. That was probably unnecessary, but the agent called me and kept me informed as we got close. That was good.

She carried out the task of ordering transport for my vehicle and called me throughout the process to make sure everything went well. She explained thoroughly and when she was not available she had someone step in and help me. The transport was here in 2 days and costed way less than a thousand dollars.

AmeriFreight got the best reviews and when I finally got in touch with someone, what the guy that I worked with told me was true and he worked with me the whole way, beginning, middle, and end. We used them for two cars and two different places. Both times, we weren't even there. We're military so we had to relocate. We just left the keys with a friend and it was not a problem. They picked it up. Then again, one time, they dropped off to my brother-in-law. One drop-off was here where we moved to in a Walmart parking lot. They were very easy to contact. They kept in touch with us. They were like, "Okay, where do you want them to go?" It was super easy.

I moved across the country about 6 months ago. I have been pushing off the task of shipping my car from my parents' house because it was a bunch of unknowns and I didn't know how to do it. I finally sat down and did some research. Not only did I find that AmeriFreight have great reviews, but they were also one of the best costs for shipping. Cashmir sent me an email and gave me a call. She was so sweet and kind, she really took the time to explain the whole process to me and what I could expect.

Most went well, the only issue was the delivery company got the drop off date wrong and had to readjust on their end. They unloaded the cars in their secure lot and reloaded/delivered on correct date, so it all worked out - just a bit more stress than we needed while moving across country.

The other reason why I didn't go with the other person that was also comfortable with was the language barrier. Amerifreight's customer service was good in the beginning. The car to be transported was my son's SUV and this was from New York to California. Price-wise, AmeriFreight was on the highest end than other companies. I was shipping the car and my main goal was that the car would get there safely to my son.

I used AmeriFreight five times this year to ship old and new cars, including my Porsches and Audis. They're not the cheapest, but all my cars are over 100,000, so I don't want the cheapest. I've spent $10,000 shipping cars this past year and they've all come without a scratch so I don't really care. And usually, their quote is similar and pretty accurate. It only goes up 100 bucks based on the driver occasionally. I used different drivers and they've all been great. This last time, I ended up using the same company because I really liked that they showed up early and they were quick. Also, I had one problem with one driver but I can't blame AmeriFreight for that.

I liked the follow-up and kindness over the phone of AmeriFreight's rep. I felt like I was talking to a person, not just a hourly employee that's hating their life. I also liked their responsiveness, courtesy, and care. For the pickup and delivery, the driver showed up when and where he said he was going to show up. But there wasn't a lot of communication about what was required for the payment. He apparently didn't take check or credit card, so I didn't have cash prepared. We had to fumble through me sending him a Zell transfer, which ended up being fine. Maybe I missed some instructions somewhere, but it felt a little weird to send somebody a bank transfer who was a complete stranger. But it was for the right amount so trusted that that was correct. Also, the gentleman didn't speak English though he was very nice.

When there were issues regarding the carrier I felt that I had her in my corner to help me. I found the price of the service to comparable to other providers.

The transport was from Texas to New Hampshire. The actual shipper was a group called Black Mustang Transport, and they were great guys. In fact, they picked up a car from my son-in-law. I gave him a Porsche convertible and had it sent up to Denver. He said they were perfect as well on the other end of it. AmeriFreight served my needs really well.

We walked through when I ideally wanted my car to be picked up and dropped off. And he went and sourced options. My understanding is that different drivers will bid on things. He came back with a proposal the next couple of days. I booked it, and my car was picked up.

I ended up going with AmeriFreight because they had a lot of good reviews. The setup of the transport was good. But the cost was a lot more than I expected. That aside, this was the first time I ever shipped a car and it was smooth and easy. There was good communication. It was a cross-country transport from Boston to Phoenix and that took seven days.

We picked Amerifreight because of their good reviews. We had no problem with them, they were professional, but the carrier that bid our job and we accepted was terrible! If not for that we would have given them 5 stars. Had to wait a couple of hours for Amerifreight customer service to be open but after an hour and a half they managed to solve the problem with the carrier, very stressful!!! But the people at Amerifreight were extremely helpful and supportive, just hope they don't ever use that carrier again!!

Amerifreight transported a classic car for me. Michelle was the rep that assisted me. You can tell more about a company when things don't go exactly as planned. Was to be shipped in a enclosed transport but when it arrived it was a open trailer. The car a 1957 corvette convertible. As there had been bad weather with numerous thunderstorms the car was flooded, water standing in floor and trunk interior soaked, exterior water spotted and dirty. All the chrome and aluminum on engine water spotted. Upon arrival I had the car cleaned up. All the interior, carpet and padding had to be removed, dried and reinstalled. A big job to say the least. Amerifreight was very good about accepting responsibility and reimbursing me for our of pocket expenses but I was very business like so we were FAIR with each other. Will ship again.

I interacted with a young lady named Jasmine and she connected me with a transporter. The transporter was mostly punctual with their estimated times. They got on the back end when they were supposed to deliver the vehicle. The truck got hung up at a previous delivery, which delayed his arrival at our location. But other than that, everything was good.

It was the first time I was personally shipping my car state side. I contacted AmeriFreight 3 weeks prior shipping date, I wanted to give them time in order for me to have a better price. However I never heard from them until 4 days before my shipping date which increased the cost of the transportation. I paid more than I should have because of time restraint. That was not great. Beside that everything was ok.

The experience was nearly perfect. The lady in the office was the most helpful throughout the entire experience. The driver was willing to wait for me to inspect under-lights so I would know all was good. It arrive with no damage whatsoever. Road dirt was on the car as should be expected if you drove 1200 miles. Just wipe with a wet cloth and confirm. I will recommend AmeriFreight whole heartedly.

AmeriFreight would try and give me the best deal possible for my transport. They tell me, "How much you wanna spend? We'll start with this." I would say, "Okay, if we haven't heard anything, I want you to go up to this."

Very pleased with the service received. Responsive to all phone calls and keeping up to date with quoted transporters and accommodating date changes. Last minute confusion of payment to the correct transporting company was the only negative experience but handled very well by all involved.

The actual carrier gets five stars but Amerifreight, as I'm sure the person reading this already knows, is a complete joke. I got a quote I'm going to be paying $940 and I end up paying $1,800 at the very last second. That's universally understood as shady. You have agents that pretend to be your friend ... but in the back of their mind, they have a premeditated plan to double your charge when you aren't free to find a plan B. E.g. moments before you move. Then they have the audacity to ask you for five stars, you know, because they're like your friend who hooked you up. If I had a friend pull a fast one on me like that at the last second, I would Do that friend a favor. They have a canned response for everything you bring up, like the nuances of the industry, the real nuance is that they are shady as hell.

Jennifer ** was very helpful in facilitating the move of our car. Within 2 days of making the decision to go with Amerifreight, she had selected a driver and the vehicle was picked up. Within 6 days of pickup, the vehicle was safely delivered. Everything worked like clockwork and there was the feeling that Jennifer was on top of our move at all times. We appreciated not having to worry about the shipment.

The one suggestion would be to make sure not just in writing but verbally that the vehicle drop off needs to be in a large parking lot - a local Walmart or mall. Kallie was terrific to work with. I had a very narrow window for pickup, 3 days, She made it happen. Unlike other companies she didn't take a deposit until she had a driver available. She also kept me informed, confirmed that the car was picked up and when it was delivered. I've shipped cars before and Amerifreight was by far the best. As a broker, they did more than any other service I called to explain the process and not promise anything they could not deliver. The reps were fairly responsive. I put a couple of things in the car and the driver was fine with it. He was really flexible about it. It was helpful. The only difficulty was the driver showed up at a different time than what was planned, and delivered a lot earlier than what was planned. That was the difference between AmeriFreight’s part versus what the driver is gonna do. But it didn't create any real problem. It's just they really got across the country quickly. It was quicker than I could get here to be in California when the van arrived. But it turned out to be okay. I had a neighbor take a look at the car to see if there was anything wrong. The car got here fine. It was a good experience.

The car made it to the correct state in time. But the person & company with which Amerifreight contracted to deliver the car proceeded to argue and negotiate that they didn't want to deliver the car to the agreed upon address. They said that they really didn't like driving on the streets of Asheville, and wanted us to meet them at some point 40 minutes away. This was really frustrating, and took a lot of negotiating to actually get them to follow through on the contracted commitment.

The customer service rep called me a few times and it took some time to return with the price. They explained that they place the bid and whoever has a truck moving to the destination will bid for the price. The quote was not the cheapest but sometimes, you don't want to take chances with the cheapest. The service was good from AmeriFreight. But it was not good with the middleman. I’m in New York and they took the car, drove to Jersey, and had my car in the garage for almost a week before they started driving to the final destination. A day or two in the parking, waiting for all the cars to be loaded in the truck is okay. But not seven days. And they kept telling me the car was moving. I could have used it for a few more days. I ended up renting a car for two days. The timeline was 10 days and it was delayed about three days.

I got a good rate with AmeriFreight. They worked hard to find a carrier that met our needs. The carrier was great, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was my daughter who was transporting the car, so dealing with that, it was a good experience. However, it took a little bit longer than they said it would because of some mechanical issues along the way with the carrier. But, those were things that were acts of God. They were responsive when I called and were available and returned calls promptly. We had such a good experience that we used them to return the car and I got a $50 discount on the rates.

We had our minivan shipped 2,700 miles within the Continental United States. The company that I contracted arranged everything and found AmeriFreight for us, then the dispatcher called twice to set up the pick-up time. She spoke very broken English, so it was a little difficult to understand what she was saying, but her attitude was good. I was in the navy, but my wife dropped off our minivan and picked it up, and she said the driver wasn't very sociable, but no complaints besides that. All in all, our experience with AmeriFreight was good.

Setting up the transport with AmeriFreight was very easy. They were very knowledgeable and they needed to know where we wanted to go and when we wanted to get there and when the car was available. It was very nice and efficient. The pick-up points and drop-off points were Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and College Station, Texas. Pick-up day was the day it was supposed to. The drop-off day was supposed to be three days, but he told us he was getting there the night before and if we were available, we could get it then, and we picked it up the evening before we were supposed to because we got there early. The quote was also totally accurate.

We had a Ford Thunderbird shipped in a covered transport from Las Vegas to Texas, and everything went well. It took three days, which was bit earlier than we were expecting, but it worked out.

We initially had someone else, but that company was giving us a runaround and wouldn't give us a date or time, so we switched. I've used AmeriFreight twice. The first time I used them, I did a PCS move of a vehicle. Then this most recent time, I did a local move here in California for one of my vehicles. They walked me through the process and they said, they're not the company that does it. They put a contract out there for other transporters to bid on. Then they would come back when they'd have a bid on the transportation of my vehicle. They were fine. The communication with the driver was good too.

I left a message and a rep called me back. He was very professional. The transport was 860 miles and they got it done in four days. But there was an error when they picked the wrong city. They have a different city in a different state. I pointed that error out to them and they repriced. The price went up due to where the pickup was. Other than that, AmeriFreight was good. I've referred them to two other people since.

The AmeriFreight guy that I talked to sounded professional, so I decided to use them. I had them ship an Acura MDX from Los Angeles to Brownsville in Texas. The driver was late. He had an accident with his finger, so he called me back, but he was very nice and he was telling me where he was, so I knew the timing. The problem was to pick it up, it took a little bit longer than I thought for somebody to call me. They told me that Brownsville is a route that is not very often used. In general, Texas is a very common route, but it's more Dallas or Corpus Christi, but not Brownsville. So, it took them a little bit longer to find somebody and that was why they charged me more. The only problem was at the beginning it was only 1,090, and I ended up paying 1,900, almost double.

I talked to three companies about where they expected the price to come and I had the same conversation with them all but AmeriFreight seemed to have the best story. I went with them and they did a fair job. They tried to get me to take the first carrier that offered to pick it up but I wasn't given any lead notice, so I had to waive that one off. Then, they got somebody in the next 48 hours. The final quote was kind of what I expected. They told me it would be less than it was but they got the car there and the car was fine so it was all good. The only thing was when the driver arrived, he wouldn't bring it to the address. But he covered it. He unloaded it, drove it to the address, and got an Uber back to his truck.

I called a couple of different places, and AmeriFreight had the least expensive price. The fellow that helped us was great. He was very informative and we learned a lot of stuff we didn't know. At drop-off, the fellow called and couldn't make it down the road because it was an old one-lane country road, so we drove up to the corner where he parked, and he unloaded the cars, and then we drove them down to the house. The quote was different than the final price. The original quote was for $2,700, and then because of the timeframe, it ended up being $1,000 more.

On my from Florida to Boston my car broke down. Took it to the nearest dealer. Repairs would take up to two months. I was leaving for a month and half travel in Europe. Contacted AmeriFreight and they had no problem with the delays. I got back to Boston and they got the car from the dealer to me a few days. Did what they said they would do and met my needs... Good job! I'll use them again if I need a car shipped.

I shipped my son's car to him at college, California to Kentucky. Reached out for a quote about 6 weeks in advance. I followed up and followed up and followed up and they kept telling me that we had plenty of time. So we get down to about 2 days before the deadline and they finally get us the final number. Then the real fun starts. They picked it up from our house on the wrong day, we were already gone, and no one was there to do the walk around with the carrier and we had to leave the keys in the mailbox which I did not feel good about in my city. They dropped it off on the wrong day. My son was going to have to wait in a Home Depot parking lot all day because logistically we had to change everything when they changed the days on us. We threw a fit and they changed it back to the original day. Then they told us they couldn’t deliver it to our address because the truck can’t fit down a residential street. What???

I had my Kia moved from Tacoma, WA all the way to Chesapeake, VA a few months ago. Let me tell you, the amount of communication and professionalism was great. It was such a simple process. And my car came in the time frame provided. The price for shipping across the country was also extremely reasonable. I would ship with them again when I can.

The service was good. The only problem I had was that I was told right from the start that I would be in contact with the driver all the way. I never could talk to him. When I called the company to see what was going on, they gave me no reason why. They called back to tell me they contacted him. No explanation about communicating with the driver. I got called from the company to see if he could drop the car off in the middle of the night. I said I do not want the car delivered when I couldn't inspect it in the dark. Driver showed up right at 6AM like I agreed to with the dispatcher. I finally found out why they wouldn't let me talk to the driver. HE COULDN'T speak English. Why couldn't they just tell me that in the first place? I could accept that, but no explanation after I explicitly ask for one. The service was timely, and a fair price though.

I shipped two company vehicles, one to Phoenix and the other to Rochester, NY. We had a very good experience. Both vehicles were on time and on budget and my colleagues were very pleased. Felt like I had a solid partner to help me get this project done from cradle to grave. My boss was very please as well and felt it was much more efficient to ship the trucks than have the guys drive them back to their home offices. We will be using AmeriFreight again.

Did NOT have a good experience. Understanding the auto shipping industry was disappointed in the carrier that Amerifreight selected for my car. It arrived damaged in hood. Carrier denied damage, refused to give Bill of Lading, refused to give receipt for cash payment. He threatened to say that I did not pay and was lying about damages. Carrier insurance did not cover any damages. Terrible experience. Still dealing with it through Insurance and small claims court.

Jen was great. Told me exactly what the price would be and delivered on that promise. Car was delivered on schedule with no issues. From start to finish Jen was available to answer any and all questions. She followed up to make sure all was well and that the car was delivered as promised with no issues or problems. Would highly recommend for any shipping needs.

Amanda ** was very helpful in making arrangements to Transport my car. I got fast service, Handled with care and stuck to the bid price. If you need to ship a car ask for Amanda. She also call after delivery to be sure everything went well and answer any remaining questions. Thank You Again.

I had never shipped a vehicle before, and I went with AmeriFreight because of the good reviews of customer service. My agent didn’t talk to me a whole bunch but we communicated enough to get the job done. I was a little disappointed with the shipping carrier, as my truck was delivered at 1030 p.m. at night. Personally, I think that’s too late at night to have a vehicle delivered. However, it got there in a timely manner considering the delivery was from Florida to Kansas. Overall, I was satisfied with the price, delivery, and company besides what I mentioned above.
