    Their price was acceptable and the rep was professional. I went through a broker because the person who actually did the transfer was a different person from the one I originally dealt with. Also, the quote was $924 but I ended up paying $1,100 when it was all said and done. So, it was a little bit higher. But it was within a couple of hundred dollars from the original quote. Also, the payment was made easily and the vehicle arrived in good condition. I recommend AmeriFreight. I had a painless and trouble-free experience with them.

    I had a good experience with AmeriFreight. They were in communication with me. Told me what to expect. They moved a car shipment for me. They moved it from Georgia to New York and back, from New York back to Georgia. I worked with Gina on this and had a very good experience. It was great working with Gina. She was super helpful and understanding both times, especially because I had to alter the pick-up date. I explained to her what I was doing and she was very helpful with suggestions. So, I appreciate her helpfulness and good customer service. And the carriers that were selected each way met the commitments that they committed to. They asked me to inspect the vehicle and sign in that I've received it, and give it on the outbound way. Straightforward. Transporting a vehicle is pricey no matter what, but it seemed to be in line with the market cost that I got. It was within $200.

    The reps would give you a bid and it's lower than you're gonna get. They give you an estimate and it's nowhere close. They all do that. They're just brokers and then they're waiting to see what the truckers want. AmeriFreight called me with one bid of 1,200 and I said it was too much. I'll fly down and get it. Then, they called me the next day and said another trucker had accepted my bid of 650 plus 227. That was a reasonable cost so I took it. I talked to the driver the day before and he told me he'd be in maybe the next morning. Then, when he was within an hour of me, he called and said he was gonna be here in an hour. The driver had no problem with the delivery. If he had a problem, there was a casino near me and there was another parking lot for another place that I would have told him to pull into and I'd meet him at. But he never asked. I loved the condition of the car. AmeriFreight did a great job and I'd use them again if I need it.

    The rep communicated even though it was his time off. He even called me on his day off. He told me about how the process would work then connected me to the driver. The driver kept me informed through the process. He showed up a little bit early but it wasn't too big of a deal. However, the car was dirty even though it was a covered transport. Then when the driver delivered the car, he delivered it on a main street rather than going into the gated community. That part was difficult 'cause I had to go in the middle of the street to get the car.

    When I talked to Harry at AmeriFreight, he made me feel really comfortable. He broke the whole process down for me in a way that I could understand. I didn't feel like he was just trying to get my money. He was really looking out for my best interest. So he was really personable and relatable. The pickup was good. The company sent a smaller truck to take it to the bigger truck. They were very flexible with meeting us. It was two cars. I was there on time, but my mom was running a few minutes behind. The gentleman was very patient. Because he had to load the first car anyway. So it gave some time for my mom to show up.

    My family and I were moving from Washington to Kentucky. Our vehicle had broke down in Nebraska. Luckily, we had three vehicles. My wife was towing a trailer, and I had my truck. And my son was driving the car that broke down. The Amerifreight rep communicated very well. She had a lot of email traffic and texting, letting me know what was going on through the steps.     The rep at AmeriFreight was very responsive and helpful in answering my questions and making sure I understood everything. The only thing was I didn't understand that they didn't get a shipper until the week prior. That wasn't made clear to me until afterwards but now that I know that, the transport has been smooth sailing. The driver was great. We were off in a gated community where we were waiting for our apartment. So, he parked his truck and took out my car and brought it to me. He was a very nice and friendly dude.

    The car was a little dusty. But when you drive it across the country, I can't expect much more than that. So, other than that, it was in very good condition. AmeriFreight was relaxed about shipping things inside the vehicle so my trunk was full and we threw a vacuum cleaner in the back seat. They said 50 pounds of cargo was the maximum. They weren't weren't weighing the car and the only thing was that they didn't want it full. One, for weight reasons. But two, if the driver parks his truck overnight and someone sees a full car, it's more likely to be stolen from. So, they didn't want a lot of stuff in it for that reason.

    I ended up paying a good chunk more than what AmeriFreight originally quoted me, which was fine. It was in the middle of the summer. But I would have liked to have known that before I signed up. They gave me the quote and said they would bid me and whatever driver wanted to take it, that was how much it was. That’s how a lot of them do it because the driver doesn't decide what they wanna do until the week prior. So, they gave me a lowball. Five days before we moved, they gave me what they got and you can't say no. That's just how the industry is. But I'm curious if other places that quoted me higher would have been closer to what they actually quoted me.

    We had a Chevy Tahoe shipped through AmeriFreight. They were reasonably priced and they did a really good job. We got extra coverage that was offered and we didn't have to, but we opted to do that. Rosalyn was the lady that I talked to there and she was extremely knowledgeable. She gave me a lot of good information even before I decided who to go with them and it seemed it was all gonna work really well for us. I was impressed with her knowledge about the whole process and what we needed to do and know.

    As far as the pickup, they made the appointment and told us what time they'd be there. They got there a little earlier than they said, but that wasn't really a problem. They loaded the vehicle on. We went over everything and looked over the car. They had told us to take pictures of the car so we knew if there was any damage. They gave us all that information. So, we did that. They did the same thing to cover their own self, and then they loaded it. Then, they told us when they expected it to be there. We had the car shipped to our daughter.     I bought a convertible up in New Jersey and I had it delivered through AmeriFreight. There were no hiccups, other than they said they'd be here Friday and they showed up Saturday. When I got the phone number for the people who were delivering the car, their office kept saying, "Okay. Well, we'll let you know." I said, "Yeah. Well, it's supposed to be here today. Is it gonna be here or not?" I had to ask them a couple of times.

    The driver was very professional and courteous. He apologized. He said he had gotten in a bunch of traffic and he said he let his office know. The office didn't give him my phone number until it was the next day. He called me and let me know what time he would be here on Saturday. I called the office three or four times trying to get an update and they called me back once. The other time, I had to call back again and find out and they never gave me the driver's phone number so I couldn't contact him. The office person in his office was just a little bit slow to respond.

    I'm a big advocate of keeping communications. That's the way I have my business now that I've had for the last 23 years. I communicate with my customers, especially if you're like, "Okay. Well, he's gonna be here Friday afternoon." I can't do anything this afternoon or go anywhere, and then come to find out it was the next day. I was just trying to figure it out because I had to go to Orlando that Friday. I needed to be home when the driver got there. I did leave money with my wife. It would have been nice if the driver had all my information and it wasn't the office that was doing all the communicating when the driver is the one driving and can tell me straight up, "No, I'm not gonna be there Friday because the traffic is just way too bad this week." Other than that, I had a great experience. The car was fine when it arrived. There was one thing that was messed up but that was not the driver's fault. That was the guy who sold it to me.

    I bought a vehicle in Amarillo, Texas and needed it moved. I called AmeriFreight and the rep I worked with was polite, accurate, and fast. She seemed 100% on the ball and took care of the job. The next day after I called and paid for the vehicle, the driver came for the pickup. Then, a day and a half later, he was here in Iowa for the drop-off. So the whole thing only took about three days. For the delivery, the driver had a single place trailer, so that was easy, and he rolled right up here. He took care of the car and it was not damaged by the transport. Other than that, AmeriFreight was more expensive than the people I hired last year to move the Ford. They were 170 for the fee for the broker, plus about 800 for the truck. This was 800 for the truck and about 300 for AmeriFreight. But my experience was very good and I would use them again.

    AmeriFreight was one of the three companies that I called to try to get a quote and talk to. Their rep Gina answered all the questions and had everything. She took just a few minutes to get all the information over the phone. She then sent me a filled out form electronically that I was able to do on my phone. She pretty much said, “Hey, sent you the quote and all the information. And just get back to me when you wanna start the process.” She explained it all. Everyone else said pretty much the same thing, but it took another week for most people to get back to me. I went with the first one to answer than the ones that had all the great information. Gina was very responsive when I asked a couple of extra questions.

    Once we got within the window, Gina called and said that they confirmed the price. The driver called me the day before and said, “I'll be there tonight. I would like to pick it up tomorrow.” Because the vehicle is big, he said there would be a few locations near my house where we could meet. We chose one of those. When I got there, the driver was there and he did the walk through. He took the car and it was smooth.

    The cost of the service was fair considering how little I had to do. But it would have been nice to end up a little lower. They started lower and then as we got within about a week, we went up a little bit. It was exactly where Gina expected it to land. I did the move during the peak summer season when lots of people move, so the price was on the higher end. I knew that it would be. The quality of service was good and so was the communication. I didn't have any issues with the drop-off or the pick-up or damage to the car. It was super easy. It was zero stress. I already had 20 other things I was juggling with moving the house and the kids and jobs.

    AmeriFreight was cool. Their website was well put together and I found their number easily. The woman from there was really easy to work with. She set things up easily and ended up getting me a transport company within the next two days. The transport was from Florida to New Jersey. It was supposed to take four or five days. But the company that actually did the transport ended up losing my key and that sucked. It would have taken longer if they came and picked up my spare, so I drove over to the next state and picked up the truck myself. Then when they came to pick up the truck, they were very professional and very careful loading it onto the vehicle. They said they'd have it delivered in a couple of days which I was astonished by because I thought it would take 10 days. But they had it there in a couple of days at my friend's house.     I was moving cross-country and I've used AmeriFreight in the past. First time was smoother than most recently. But overall, it was easy. I did an online quote, got a call. It was last minute, so that created some logistical issues, just for me booking it so late. But it's user-friendly. I need to get ahold of the agents. Pick-up was Los Angeles and drop-off was Albany, Georgia. It was originally scheduled for four days and it took four or five days. I met the carrier-driver at the pick-up point, talked for 20 minutes as he loaded up the car, and my parents met him at the car drop-off point. The car was the same condition as I left it in. And the quote was within a couple of hundred. If you're looking to ship your car a long distance, AmeriFreight is a good option. They went coast-to-coast within a few days. So, I recommend them.

    I read a bunch of reviews and found that AmeriFreight had positive ones. I called and they were very responsive. I spoke to a girl named Rosalinda and we went back and forth a couple of times confirming dates. She explained the process to me and said, "This is what we do. We put it out for bid. Expectation is less than a week, the car will be picked up and so forth." She set a bunch of guidelines and, "This is typically how it works. It could happen sooner, it could happen later. It all depends on the activity." She put up the bid and a person responded very quickly. This was a year and a half ago when the car left Long Island to California. A guy picked it up, dropped it off like three days later, and everything was in great shape.

    When my son was moving back to New York, I did the same exact thing. They picked up the car within 24 hours and had it back here in like 50 hours. The driver texted me when he came back here. He said he would drop off the car in the afternoon. That was insane. The guy just left California. I was like really shocked and thought that could not have been right. He texted me, “I’m in New York, I’ll text you when I’m on the Island...I’m heading out." It was enough contact to not be annoying and just to keep us in the loop. I called my son and I said, “You should be around there ’cause your car is getting dropped off.” It really was fast. There's 100 pounds allowed to be shipped in the car. We moved some beddings. the cost was excellent.

    Amerifreight did exactly what they said they were gonna do. They got there when they said the vehicle was gonna get there. There was no damage. So everything was fine. They called me a lot. The lady that I dealt with told me the progress of the vehicle, which was nice. It was picked up in Utah and delivered to Michigan. My daughter had to jump on a plane and leave the truck where she was. The driver had to meet her at a parking lot. So he was very accommodating. He communicated by phone. They were able to find each other pretty quickly and allowed her to not miss her plane. The driver was the same guy, so she saw him again when he dropped it off. I was satisfied.     Amerifreight was really responsive to me. When I emailed them, they would email me right away. They gave me a pretty good price. When I first emailed Amerifreight, the person I was in contact with said the quote was gonna be a little bit low right off the bat. So she gave me a more accurate quote. She said it was most likely around 1,500. Then I ended up getting it shipped out for 1,400. So I was pretty happy with that. The drop-off was pretty much outside of my house.     It was a little bit easier to get a quote faster with Amerifreight and somebody called within the same day that I requested a quote. I needed to get a Dodge Charger out of Florida and bring it to South Dakota and it went smoothly. The driver was a really easy guy. He contacted me when he was on his way up, letting me know that he was coming or that he was two and a half hours out. I wasn't even home when he dropped off the car and I just paid him over the app, and then he took pictures of the car in the driveway and was on time and easy to work with.     We needed to have a family vehicle moved out of state and we didn't want to drive because of the long distance involved and headaches. When I first reached out to AmeriFreight, it was after normal business hours, so I had to leave a message for someone to call me back.     The carrier who picked up the car was delayed for a couple hours due to some other issue that was beyond his control. I called AmeriFreight and they worked behind the scenes to make sure that the trucker called me to verify that even though it was going to be during the same day, after the hours that were originally quoted, he was, in fact, going to show up. There were also no issues with both the trucker who picked up the vehicle and the trucker who delivered to us.

    All in all, AHS did a great job. It's a very stressful process to turn over your baby to somebody else but I was very satisfied with the outcome and with the whole process. The rep I was working with wanted to make sure she sort of held your hand the whole time and react. If you needed to call her, she reacted either thru a callback or by speaking with you or texting back. So, there was a very high degree of hand holding, which, because of the sensitive nature of them having your vehicle, is very important. Their price quoted was higher than some of the competition, but I'd rather pay extra for superior outcomes than pay an average price and get a lousy outcome.

    We needed to ship a sedan from the West Coast to East Coast, and setting it up was simple. We told AmeriFreight a timeline on when it should be picked up and dropped off, and they handled everything. I just had to fill out a form with all the information, then they called me to give me some quotes that they received for pickup, and we went with the best one. The rep gave me some background information on what is expected and what goes on as well. I didn't know that they were a middleman, but I found out during the process.

    The driver called me an hour before he was gonna be in the area, then we dropped the car off and he picked it up. He looked at the car and we signed some papers to verify, then similar to drop-off, he dropped off the car very close by, so it was convenient. We live in a small neighborhood, and it's a very curvy road. The cost is more than the original quote, which AmeriFreight warned me in advance. They said it was similar to other brokerages, too, that they give an upfront cost but it's gonna end up being a bit more than that. For the price of it, considering if I was to drive it, it was reasonable. Plus, I was able to fill up the trunk of my car, and the rep said that I could put stuff inside the vehicle but it had to be below the windows. From the front window to the back window, it should be clear. Overall, timing-wise, everything was right. Service was great, too. Communication was awesome.

    The rep was very helpful and there were a lot of conversations for info that was needed. She was very professional and the explanation was very well done. I had to adjust a few things throughout the process and add more things, like rush delivery.     I used AmeriFreight before and I had a good experience. Recently, I was moving across the country and when I was looking at the other companies that were out there, the price point was really competitive. I also had no reason not to use AmerioFreight again and the rep I talked to was great. He kept in contact with me, made sure he followed through, and as soon as he had an offer on the shipping, he let me know. We talked about the offer and got the paperwork done.     The driver's communication was pretty good as well. But they were vague on when they were going to pick it up.     We had no problems with the transport, that all went smoothly. I do not feel my agent Tristen was very honest with me. I know I had selected the basic insurance on my transport and when he sent the offer it had the highest level of insurance. He tried to gaslight me by saying that I selected that. Then he eventually said he selected it because he really recommended it. Why not be honest in the first place. When I first spoke with him about getting a good bid, he told me that if the first bid isn't good we could wait for another. The first bid came in and he said it was good and I should take it but I really question if it really was or not. I do like that Amerifreight was quick to respond to me and did answer my questions but when I have to ship my car again next month I will use another carrier because I do not appreciate the dishonest way I was treated..

    Setting up the transport was fairly straightforward. I put some basic information in a web form and then I got a phone call shortly. They have a ballpark idea of what it costs to ship a car from California to Pennsylvania. But they wouldn't know the real price until it was a successful bid.     The drop-off took one day longer than it was originally scheduled to take but I was informed that that was a possibility when I booked. And I was told the pick-up will be either at the end of the day or the morning of the next day. I gave the driver a call. He was a subcontractor and didn't actually work for AmeriFreight. But I was talking to the driver directly and I told him where my house was, which was where the car was. He came into the neighborhood, drove by my house, turned around, and then we started the pick-up inspection. He looked at the vehicle and checked the gas to make sure it was under a quarter tank. I took the little XM radio and took it off so it didn't get damaged and then, he took panorama pictures of the outside. We agreed on any damage that he marked on a sheet. I signed and then he put the vehicle on the truck and drove away.

    AmeriFreight communicated the price that I was quoted online was the lowest possible offer and that it was likely to be higher in the bidding process. So, the drivers or companies who were actually doing the transportation will bid against AmeriFreight as a broker. From the time when the bidding started to when it was picked up, I had to call them a couple of times to figure out whether I'd been picked up or not. And then as the price was going up, I had the full information. AmeriFreight did a good job of explaining that when you contact them about what they are and what they're doing and how to get the lowest price for their service.

    The only trick that I found out was to ask a question when you get a bid and maybe the price will go down. I didn't counter. All I asked was if I could pay electronically on drop-off. And then, the company dropped the price. It was $250 from the original bid, which was great for me.

    It almost seemed like no matter what I had asked for, the company would have offered to drop the price. So, consumers that are gonna book with AmeriFreight shouldn’t take the first offer. Just by asking an unrelated question, the standard response from the company was apparently to drop the price. It was weird. But that might be the transportation company and not AmeriFreight. My understanding was AmeriFreight was paid a set rate. I paid them $250 to find me a company. They have connections to various trucking companies and the trucking companies will bid. The larger city that you're starting in and the larger city that you're dropping off in, the cheaper it becomes because the margin of loss is relatively low.

    I shipped a Nissan from Mississippi to South Carolina thru AmeriFreight. Jasmine helped me out and she was very informative. She explained the process very well and answered all my questions. The transport took four days and the driver was nice. Everything was fine. But the amount that they told me it was going to cost was different from what I paid in the end. I set things up with them months in advance and it seemed that nobody wanted to travel over here. They couldn't find any driver. So, I ended up spending more money than I was originally quoted.

    I have moved many cars across the country and used a number of different brokers and operators. This was the first time for me to use AmeriFreight. Nice people at AmeriFreight but the trucking company they found for me was terrible. First, the driver complained that he did not know one of the two cars he was going to transport was an SUV. I listed the car as exactly what it was so I did not even think that it was my responsibility to teach the people who move cars which models were SUV's versus any other type of vehicle. The driver was trying to get more money out of me.

    Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of a bad experience. The cars arrived 6 days after the due date and at a time that was extremely difficult for me to deal with this guy. Worse, the cars were both filthy inside. Even after we made big attempts to cover the seats and steering wheels. It looked like the driver was replacing an engine block while moving my cars in and out of his trailer. It took about an hour of work to clean off the grease smudges. Some did not truly come clean and probably never will.

    Everything went smoothly for the most part. The estimate was close to the final cost (except for one thing I'll mention soon) and the packing team was fantastic! We moved from Nevada to Connecticut. Everything was done in a timely manner and everyone was very kind and professional. The driver of the semi was great and had good communication. My only suggestion is that when they signed us up, they didn't check our street (where we moved in CT) to ensure the driver could fit onto our narrow block. A simple Google Map search would show that a semi can't fit. This should be factored into the estimate at the BEGINNING. They shouldn't wait until the driver arrives. The poor driver had to stop somewhere and rent another truck to shuttle all of our stuff onto our new block.

    We were surprised with another $1,200 on top of the $11,000 we spent on this move. An estimate should not just include what's being put on the truck, but where the truck is going. They should have also asked if we have a basement and how many floors there are to the new home. This is all in the contract, but it wasn't verbally discussed and should have been. If you're going to charge more, it should be explicitly spoken about before the contract is signed. With that said, I do believe that this is one of the best Movers around. I just think that they should be more transparent and do a little research to ensure that the price stays as close as possible to the estimate they give. Make sure the destination can fit a semi so we're not blindsided for $1200.

    The initial contact was simple enough for a pick up in Oregon to move to ohio. However, once we had accepted a carrier offer, the pick up date was missed 3 days in a row. Finally had a window for afternoon pick up, they arrived at 5:17am for pick up. Delivery was a little fluid as well. We were told it would be an evening delivery. No big deal. I get a call from the transporter at 9pm, telling me he'll be in around 1am. When I advised that doesn't work for me (mind this was never discussed on AmeriFreight's end, we were told daylight delivery), he said he'd drop it at a tow yard and I would owe storage and remaining transport costs.

    Once met at 1:15 am, driver informed me that my truck was an emergency add to his transport, 5 DAYS AFTER PICK UP. Driver was nice enough but the whole process of no information when I would call Amerifreight and Devins inability to return an email or phone call, resulted in many calls into dispatch that got me no new information. Only reason it gets 2 stars instead of zero is the truck itself was not harmed in any way. TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM AMERIFREIGHT TO THE POINT THEY EVENTUALLY JUST GAVE ME THE CARRIER'S INFORMATION.

    The AmeriFreight rep I worked with did a good job. He had good communication. They shipped my son's car for me. It went from Brooklyn, New York to Texas. The guy that was supposed to pick it up, I told him what our beginning date had to be so my son wouldn't be without his car. But the guy needed to pick it up two days sooner than what we had planned on it being picked up. He had to get an Uber from New Jersey and it cost him $75 just to drop the car off and then get back to his place. That was the only downside of all of it. He had two hours' notice he had to have his car over there. I texted the rep from AmeriFreight to tell him 'cause they booked it out to this guy. I said, "This is not what we agreed to." He said, "I'll check into it." That was the last I heard of that. But we made it work.

    AmeriFreight did a great job. Gina, the rep, was friendly and very clear about how the whole process worked. I told her what I needed and she told me what services they had available, so we opted for uncovered. There was also a protection plan involved. Then, she answered every question I had. It was an agreement and she said that they were gonna post my job, one of the truckers was gonna pick it up, and at that point, I would hear back from them. So, there was a good free week of just sitting and waiting for my move day. Then, it got picked up.

    Gina was very prompt. She let me know all the details and who picked up the job and when I could expect to talk to the trucker. Everything was right on track. I had the car shipped before I physically relocated and someone else received it for me. He had to meet the trucker because of the nature of our driveway, which is right off the main road.     The mover called me on a Friday saying, “Hey, I'm gonna be here tomorrow.” I said I was out of town. The original delivery date for the contract wasn't until Tuesday and I knew I was gonna be back in town before then. But the mover started swearing at me saying “You better have someone here to unload the vehicle. If you aren't here, then I'm gonna take it back to Florida. And I'm gonna charge you double if you ever want it back.” I ended up being able to get friends to come here and help him unload it. The driver said, “Yeah. Your friend is a liar. There's no way a semi has ever been down here.” But we just had two semis down there to unload our Outback and an Impreza.

    The person that we called on that Friday when the mover was cursing us out said he was aggressive with her. She told us, “I'm sorry, but honestly, I think you just need to try to get someone there to unload it because this guy is not worth cooperating with us at all.” But I understand AmeriFreight is contracting our move out and it's hard to vet every single person.     The people I went with got down to the last day and they hadn't secured a truck, and AmeriFreight called me out of the blue and said that they had one. I was already in their system and I ended up going with them. Everything went well. I had two different vehicles that I used and both drivers were good. I reached out to get an idea but I was kept in the loop. The only issue I had was not knowing when they were gonna show up for the pickup. It was difficult. You have to get through a couple of numbers to find out who the driver was so I can contact the driver directly. But I was able to do it. The transport was overpriced because I booked it so late. You get the same service whether it's booked two weeks before or not but you end up paying a higher price at the end. Outside of that, it seems like everyone in the industry does that.

    Brandon ** was excellent and very helpful with setting up my vehicle transfer from L.A. to Delaware. However, execution of the transfer was less desirable. My contract was a Door to Door but I had to deliver my car to the Driver because the pick up date was changed the day before the scheduled pick up to a time period that did not work for me. I went with Amerifreight because it was indicated they could meet my desired pick up date. This change also required me to rent an Uber to get home after dropping off my car adding on to my cost.

    My car then arrived in Philadelphia, not Newark, in half the time contracted, so I had not yet flown out East yet to receive my car and it was stored in a location further way from Newark. When I flew in I then had to hunt down where my car was being stored a good 90 additional miles from Newark, DE. Again, my contract was Door to Door. The whole execution of the transfer was a nightmare and cost me more than the $1600. Again, Brandon ** was excellent at setting up and explaining the process, but the actual execution of the transport was poor and was not as planned. The experience added a negative, expensive start to an across country move for a new 1st job and professional start in my life, and it is not one I will experience again.

    I'm a traveling healthcare worker and I was on an assignment out of state. I shipped my car there and because I liked AmeriFreight's services when I went there, I used them again to ship my car back. Getting the service set up was very pleasant. I had Malia and she was very informative. When I had a phone conversation with her, she was very positive. She had really good customer service and she was leading me through the process of it being my first time. She was very helpful as far as providing me with all the information that I needed. I'm really big on customer service.

    Malia really tried to work with me because I was working a night shift. I was originally missing their calls whenever I would have an offer. Malia worked with me to see what time would be best for me and for her to call. She would ask, "Is 11:00 AM good or 12:00?" I would then set an alarm for that time. If they had an offer, they would call me at that time. That was super helpful. It was my first time using this and I didn't really know how it worked.

    The quote that was provided by AmeriFreight was okay. When I got my very first quote, they said it is gonna be based on whoever's actually picking it up and their offer. I like that you don't have to necessarily take that offer. That was super helpful because if I didn't know that, I probably would have assumed I had to take the first person who offered to pick up my car. When I was shipping my car to Minnesota, I didn't take the first few offers and then I got something that was more in the ballpark of what was more feasible for me. When I brought my car home, I took the first offer because it was already in the ballpark of what I originally paid to send my car before.

    Once AmeriFreight got me over to the carrier, the carrier kept in touch. I reached out a little bit just because of my work schedule. I was trying to make sure that if I couldn't get the car, someone in the household would be able to obtain it. I did the partial payment so I needed someone to be physically there to distribute the rest of the payments to when my car was delivered. I was more in contact about the arrival so I can make sure of that.

    The partial payment was one other reason I went with AmeriFreight. Shipping your car is not a super cheap task and you don't know how you're gonna receive it. Am I gonna receive my car the way that it was transported? Is it gonna get here on time? The partial payment was more appealing to me than paying the full price. It's like a deposit, which I do with most things in my life. I also didn't have any time constraints, which I liked. It wasn't like, "Okay, you have to do this day and this date." It was very flexible, which was better for me. I have already recommended AmeriFreight to some of my travel healthcare people.

    The company I was originally going with changed the information the day the car was supposed to ship. I didn't trust them and I ended up going with AmeriFreight. Customer service was pretty good. They called me and they gave me the information. They emailed me the information to sign the contract. If I was interested, they would put it all in writing. When they pick up my truck, they'll send it to me. They'll give me a date when it would be delivered.

    They were supposed to deliver it on a Monday, which was a holiday. They said they were gonna call me on Sunday to let me know if they were gonna deliver it on Monday and they never did. I ended up reaching out to them and asking if they were still delivering it Monday. They called me 10 hours later and said they would deliver it on Tuesday instead because of the holiday weekend traffic. That was understandable. The only thing was I didn't get updated. I wouldn't have minded if they texted or called me. That would have been nice. I didn't hear back from anybody until Sunday. The communication could have been better.

    During the drop-off, the driver just gave me my car. I didn't like that the car was super filthy that I couldn't even see if there were any damages to it. But that was to be expected and it wasn't serious. They had the car for over a week and they were driving from the desert. We had to wash the car the next day and there were no dents. I would refer AmerFreight again. I would just tell others not to do it on the holiday weekend.

    I had a convertible BMW and I had a mid-size car shipped by AmeriFreight. I liked their rating as far as what I found on the internet. I dealt with the same person all the time. The correspondence was very good. If he wasn't available, he got back to me. The actual driver was a broken-English person, but he did the work okay. He arrived here a day early, which presented a problem because nobody was here. Very luckily, I had somebody who lives in Charleston who ran down to the bank for me, got the funds, came over here, took care of them, and checked the cars out. They were in good condition.

    As far as one car goes, it was completely filthy, and the mud and the dirt in it was like I'd never seen. It was driven into the driveway and parked with the top being up and everything was fine until we got here about five days later, and I found out I can't even put the windows down without pressure. There's something wrong with both sides of the car. It was so full of mud. It looked like a four-wheel drive mud race. It was awful. I still can't get the windows down and up, but when it got here, my daughter signed off on the car and we know that the insurance package that we took on it was probably null and void.

    On that end of it, I'm not happy. This car's gotta go into a specialty shop because when you go to put the windows up and down, you can hear the grind and the mud inside the door jams. It's not rolled down, they're electric. So, it's very disturbing on that part. As far as AmeriFreight, I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I had an excellent rapport with the entire staff.

    When I called AmeriFreight, the customer service rep answered all my questions. He was really helpful, especially because it was my first time transporting a car. He explained the whole process and logistics. He put my car on a listing and found a driver to take the car across the country for me. He helped me choose the driver and said that this person could drive for this cost at this time, and told me how many positive reviews he had. The truck driver was perfectly fine. But the downside of working with AmeriFreight is that they don't have their own truck, so they can't guarantee any price or any time. Essentially, they will connect you to the driver then it's done after that. But their rep followed up after to ask how things went and he answered questions when I had it even afterwards.

    Other than that, AmeriFreight gave a really low number and it's the minimum number that they put my car on for bid in the listing. That was attracting to begin with. But you will never actually pay that lowball price. It would always be higher than what they advertise. It was fine because the final price was still lower than the other ones I found, but it was still not very transparent of them.

    The other thing that was a little annoying was when the rep found the truck driver to take my car, he gave an estimated time of pick up which was going to be on Tuesday, and he told me I'd get it by Friday, which was really soon. I was surprised and when I asked why it would take shorter than other truck companies, he said some truck companies might have two drivers, so they need less rest. That made sense and that was attractive because that way I could keep my car longer, and at the time, I needed my car for the weekend. But what actually happened was, the driver picked up my car on Tuesday and said that he wouldn't get to the destination until Monday. It wasn't his fault though and I don't know who to blame on that one. But I needed my car for that weekend and I didn't get it until Monday.

    This ordeal started with the pickup of my vehicle, I was told pickup would be on Thursday 4/6 & dropped off on Monday 4/10. Vehicle was picked up on Thursday but I got a tx message Thursday night that it would be delivered on Friday. I wasn’t home until Monday that’s why we picked these dates. I spoke to the transport company & was told that they had a 48 hr window for delivery which was never discussed. I agreed to a Saturday delivery & had to cancel my plans which cost me money since everything was paid for. The transport driver delivered my full size Bronco by himself & used another vehicle to tow & push my vehicle into place, due to it not running, it also was raining & he had to hold the door open so he could turn it! I watched everything on my security cameras. Then he wanted payment before I could inspect the vehicle which the contract clearly states, payment due after inspection.

    He called & txt me over & over harassing me until I had to call the transport company that AmeriFreight hired to do the job directly. She told me that she contracted the job out & this wasn’t her normal driver, she finally paid him directly so he would stop harassing me & I paid her after I inspected the vehicle. I tried calling AmeriFreight but I never got a return phone call so I sent an email & to this day have never received a reply back. I would never recommend AmeriFreight, they made promises & took their money & didn’t help me with anything after payment! This company was an absolute disaster from the time of signing my contract! Don’t use them ever.

    The Amerifreight rep got in touch with me super quick and took the time to really explain how the whole process worked, and then let me know how the bidding process went. He was very accessible too. When we were getting close to the date in which I requested and I still hadn't heard anything, I asked him what was going on and he let me know that they hadn't gotten any bids yet. But he gave me a couple of Plan Bs and Plan Cs to put in place in case we didn't secure the bid for the date that I wanted the pickup on, which fortunately, we did. I felt really good because he was able to reassure me that, no matter what, the vehicle was going to get to its destination. With a military move, I have to be in a certain place at a certain time. So I don't really have much wiggle room. The fact that he was able to give me a couple of different alternate avenues in case we had to go that route was nice.

    The driver was really good as far as communication-wise goes. He was there at the time he said he was going to be there. My only qualm was that the location site of the pickup and drop-off happened to be within a neighborhood for both locations. Instead of finding a large enough parking lot or something to go into, we loaded and unloaded on the side or in the middle of busy highways. So that was a little concerning for me. But he did a phenomenal job and he was very quick and efficient. The final cost was a little bit more than I thought. The quote that they gave me was around $950, and the final cost was 1,300. I was expecting about $100 or $200 more. So that wasn't the greatest.

    AmeriFreight first gave me a good quote and they seemed they could do it. Then they went dark without any indication of when it's gonna happen. It was not a good experience. I have to keep calling. The person that I originally connected with kind of disappeared. When I said, "Okay. It's time to get it," they said, "Oh, it'd be next week." They'd do it next week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and every time they'd call, the price kept going up. Finally, it cost 2,000. It started with 1,200. The price kept changing. They put it out for a bid looking for a driver that's gonna come and pick it up, that will accept it for the price.

    Finally, they said, "Well, nobody wants to take it. You really have to pay more." I said, "Well, okay. That wasn’t the indication when I started here." I was given one price and ended up having to pay a totally different one. The pickup point was my residence, but it ended up being at a dealership because it was easier for them to get there. Then I couldn't get it to my destination. I could only get it to Boston. So, I had to meet the driver near the Boston airport and then drive the last hour myself. That part wasn't that bad. I can make accommodation, but given you’re paying full price, you’d think you'd get it a little closer.

    I would have liked to get a little bit of update as they kind of went through because you don't know what's going on, but getting it set up, contacting the driver's assistant was fine. I just didn't have any interaction at all until on the other end. They dropped the vehicle off the day before we agreed on. That was like when I got a call, "Okay. We're gonna be there tomorrow at such and such time." They gave me an address, which is pretty close to where we're planning and which is at another dealership. We drove there. The driver brought over the car and took the car off. We got it and away we went.

He did more than I did because he was taking pictures and videos of my vehicle, and giving me the paperwork that I needed to have and explaining it to me, what it was and told me that I needed to keep it. When we had to claim a part of transportation, it would be nice to get the email from Amerifreight of how many miles and everything broken down just to make it easier.

    My apartment lease had just ended and I decided not to renew it after losing my job unexpectedly. So I needed to clear out. I was working within a two-week window and AmeriFreight was able to get me in quickly. My assigned rep and I constantly kept missing each other. When I would try and reach her, she was away from her desk and when she would reach me, I'm dealing with movers. So each time I called back, I ended up speaking with different reps each time and I had to constantly re-explain what was happening.     The transport from Ohio to Texas was done by a third-party, D&A Hauling, and it was supposed to take two days but it took eight. The pick-up was fine. It was done on the scheduled time and photos were taken. But upon drop-off, the reps did not take any photos. Also, I got notified of the drop-off at midnight, which was three hours beforehand. D&A was terrible with communications and they caused damage to my vehicle when it was offloaded. They rolled it violently off the front. So, the bottom front bumper is scratched and dented.

    I tried to file a claim with D&A's insurance, Progressive, but they failed to provide any statements. I tried calling D&A and I left multiple messages but they ignored my calls. I reached out to Progressive but since D&A refused their calls, they denied the claim. So, I am stuck with the damage to my vehicle for myself to pay. But I'm currently in the process of trying to get funds from them. It was nothing on behalf of AmeriFreight because they did more of the brokerage, of setting it up. I contacted the representative I had there. They provided the company's insurance and also removed them from their system.

    My conversation with Brandon, my rep, was very assuring. He sounded like he knew what he was doing and that he had a lot of experience. He did all the legwork to find the driver for me.     My experience with them wasn't the best. It was good starting off but they took a while to get back to me on all details. By the time they were able to proceed with everything they didn't give a location or time where to pick up or drop off my car. I asked to get that information and they were like, “Oh, you have to contact the driver,” which is a completely different party. So, I was trying to get ahold of the driver, and I couldn't for the longest time.

    When we were finally able to get the details, the location they gave was not specific enough because it drove me to a side of a gate off the side of the road and I had to turn around and call the driver. I had to wait for him at an intersection and when I saw him, I followed. The right location was half a mile away from the one they sent me.

    The delivery took a very long time. But by the time the mover was here and I was able to contact him, he told me, "The delivery is gonna be today," But then, he contacted me saying, “Never mind. It's gonna be tomorrow.” It wasn't until 1 AM when I got my car. Plus, he was getting frustrated with me as if I wasn't waiting on him for 24 hours plus. Because I didn't have a car, I had to rely on other people to drop me off to pick up my car. When I'm relying on others, I need to have a specific timing for everything and he couldn't get that to me. He said, “Can't you just Uber here?” And I'm like, “I don't have the money for that unless you're gonna pay for it. No, I don't think so.” So it was really frustrating. My experience could have been better, but I got my car across the country.

    AmeriFreight was more expensive by a couple of hundred dollars. But it just seemed like they were able to get me a better timeline and a better time window for pick-up and delivery of my Honda Accord. AmeriFreight reached out to me through text messages and I answered or called back. I spoke with the rep Chandler and she was very helpful. She gave me the steps in the process of everything, saying that the request for bids would go out. I wouldn't need to pay any money until I decided on the company. I signed the contract with them, at which time I would put a certain amount of money down and then pay the driver once they arrive out west at the delivery spot.

    The pick-up was bumpy because I heard numerous negative things about the subcontractors. We arranged a pick-up time and a date. The actual transport company that I signed a contract with wasn't able to pick the vehicle up that day. As soon as I called Chandler at AmeriFreight, she immediately reached out to that company. She said, “Something shady's going on. I'm going to cancel this contract,” and immediately started looking for other transport companies that could pick up either that day or the day after.

    The second company actually said that they were in the area and could do the pick-up that day or the following day. That worked out perfectly and they were very helpful. Chandler was, last second, on point and the communication was superb. My son received the delivery of the car in California. The other companies were saying that my son would have to meet them somewhere in a large parking lot. AmeriFreight was able to find this company that would drop the vehicle off at a large facility and then ship it on a smaller truck so it can be delivered to their single-family home. That was very helpful because he had no car and was in the military.

    The car arrived the day that my son was expecting to arrive. That was eight days exactly. Once they got there, my son was actually FaceTiming me. We walked around the vehicle. It looked the same as when it was shipped out. AmeriFreight was definitely worth the money, even the extra money. There is just peace of mind and the customer service was superior. If I ever do this again, I'd definitely go through AmeriFreight. After shipping, other people at the company reached out and verify everything went well for the pick-up as Chandler was off. All in all, I recommend AmeriFreight.

    I had a family member in Ohio sell me their car. So, I had it shipped by AmeriFreight. I googled best auto shippers with BBB, and they were in the top five somewhere. I called all five companies and out of the top five, the agent I spoke to on the phone, Sy, sounded the most confident and he wasn't pushy. So, I ended up choosing him. He was a great agent.     Setting up the transport went very smoothly. I did it well in advance so there'd be time. When Amerifreight called me to say they had found someone, it seemed pretty painless. The thing that I really liked about them was I didn't have to pay extra for a guaranteed window of time for pick-up. The pick-up and drop-off points were Los Angeles and drop-off was Fort Lauderdale. They beat their window by two days. During the pick up, the driver took pictures and video of the entire car. It was twilight so he got out a lighting thing so that he could inspect every panel. He inspected every inch of the car. He was in contact with me all day when he got into the drop-off area, and we exchanged texts and a couple of phone calls about the best place to meet for the truck. Then he gave me a window and he showed up.

    The quote was exactly what I paid and it was right in line with the other five quotes I had.     I needed to have a Volkswagen sedan shipped from the City of Boston to Palm Springs, California, and out of the five companies I looked at, AmeriFreight was the most responsive. They called and followed up with me, because it took me a while to make the decision and decide on the date. They got in first, and it seemed like the right fit. I also looked online at ratings. To give your car to someone and they're gonna get it across the country is a little scary if you're not used to doing it. AmeriFreight seemed like they were highly recommended from a Better Business Bureau and ConsumerAffairs perspective. Their quote was also right in line with everything else, but I wasn't really shopping for price. If they were $300 higher than someone else, I didn't have time to shop around. I was super busy.     The woman in the Atlanta office was incredibly resourceful. Her follow-up was outstanding. She kept everybody up to speed on exactly what was going on. I was very pleased with her. They were late in picking up the car by a day because the guy had to get some brake issues fixed on his vehicle, but it worked out. I was a little shocked that they got the car to me as quick as they did. There was no way that they could get from Edmond, Oklahoma to Vermont leaving there at 9:00 on a Friday night and getting to me at 9:00 on Monday. They did it driving probably 18 hours a day. But I was pleased that they got here on Monday morning.

    The pickup and drop-off were both good. The movers that AmeriFreight assigned brought my SUV to a parking lot. They loaded my SUV in a small trailer on the back of a truck. During inspection, the driver took photos. That person was nice. But the driver that dropped off the SUV tried to cover the problem that they did in my SUV. They hit my car by the driver doors. He didn't tell me about it, and he hid the problem. He has a space by the house to park the SUV. But for some reason, he put the SUV by a garden. And close to the garden that he just opened the door tiny. He got out from there and let me see the front, the right side, and the backside. And when he took the photo of the driver side, he didn't take a good one because he didn't want to show the damage in the car.

    We needed to get a car across the country and we didn't want to drive it. We set up the transport with AmeriFreight and it was easy and professional. The quote was accurate too. I was there on the pickup day and the driver was lovely. The delivery went well. The only thing was AmeriFreight indicated that I would have to have literal cash in order to receive the car. That wasn't exactly true because the carrier themselves took Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. There were some mobile options that AmeriFreight was not aware of. That would have been helpful for me to know in advance because trying to get to $1,200 in cash when I'm on the other side of the country was a little tricky.     Scheduling was a little difficult and took longer than expected. We only had one person who was able to bid for the timeframe we were looking at. But there was some information that was missing as we weren't told that we needed to have pictures upfront. When we were asked to get pictures, we weren't able to do so in a timely manner. The carrier cancelled our order after we'd already accepted it. We waited a couple more days while they worked on it. AmeriFreight got someone else but the price went up too. It was almost double, if not more than double. The mover was late a couple of hours but once he got here, he was fine. He knew what he was doing and he got on the truck pretty expeditiously.

    I set up the transport with AmeriFreight through a lady and we communicated through email. The pickup to delivery was great and the driver was fantastic and very communicative. The quote increased about $1,000 though. So that was super disappointing. Nobody picked up our car and all of a sudden, the rep from AmeriFreight said they had somebody and they wanted $2,000. I asked what happened to the 1,100 and they said there wasn’t much availability so it was what I got.

    I had a very good experience with the person I worked with. The movers were on schedule. They took pictures and walked around the vehicle. The driver responded right away to text or calls. During the delivery, I was the last vehicle to come off the trailer because where I'm located is close to the driver's home base. When I got to the parking lot to meet the driver, the vehicle is already cooled down for me. It was perfect. I got it in excellent condition. The final price was in line with what the rep had originally quoted me.
