I needed my car shipped, and I had been abandoned at the last moment by a different shipper, who ghosted me. I called AmeriFreight and the rep was in constant contact with me, even giving me his cell number. The driver was on time on both ends of the trip. Car arrived in perfect condition. Excellent service and great experience!

Awesome reflection on your company. Very professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, thorough. The entire process was painless and quick. Kudos, too, to the company that did our transport. HS Logistics, LLC. Timely, uneventful & constant communication re delivery status. The driver, said he would provide the courtesy of a heads up, when he would be approximately 2hrs out so the recipient of the vehicle didn’t sit home all day. AND he did!!!! AmeriFreight shipped my car from Malta, NY to Hillsboro, OR. They rescheduled my pick up date because of the carrier's maintenance issue at the last moment. Then they found another carrier and shipped my car. Everything was smooth from that point and I got delivery of my car on my intended date.

Set up to have AmeriFreight ship my truck on April 27th for a price of 1050$ complete with veteran's discount. Paid my 250. Vehicle was to be shipped on the 29th on May. 1 my dealership asked if it was going to picked up. I reached out to Amerifreight and they said the shipper had a vehicle breakdown and that they would find another company to ship. Now it is May 6th and Amerifreight gets another company to ship. Next day amerifreight reaches out and tells me that the new company doesn't have the right insurance and that they would have to cancel. Now it is May 7th and they tell me they can get another company but it will be an additional 100$ and I can have the truck Friday...
So I agree to the hustle of another 100$ because I'm so over it at this point.... My truck never shows up Friday.... I got a call from the driver Saturday morning May 11th and finally got my truck.... Bottom line Amerifreight took 2 and a half weeks to ship my truck. Hustled me for an additional 100$. I chose to go with them because they claim to be veteran owed. As a veteran I feel like I have been totally taken advantage of and would never recommend them to anyone.. One bright spot was Robyn. She was above and beyond understanding and had great customer service throughout. Even though she was not my sales representative.

Maleah from AmeriFreight was great to work with. The Trucking Company they set us up with was not good. They were a no show on the day they were supposed to pick up the car. We missed our friend’s birthday party waiting on them. They said they would be there in 2 hours, never showed up and stopped communicating until the next day. We waited around for hours! They were a day late dropping off as well. Bad communication!

Overall experience was okay. I was shipping my car from Utah to California. I appreciate the fact that the broker (AmeriFreight) didn't want to take down my credit card information immediately when asking for quotes unlike other companies. They were very good at communicating whether a bid for my vehicle was put out however upon the pickup of the vehicle, that is when everything started falling apart. Both the broker and the shipper (Voki shipping) told me that it would be picked up on at certain date at a certain time therefore I cleared out my whole schedule for that day and when that time came around the shipper never came about. I then called the broker and the broker could not get in contact with the shipper and I wasted a whole day waiting around for the shipper to come around.
Eventually the vehicle was picked up and the delivery date kept getting pushed back and further and I just kept clearing out days in which I was waiting for my vehicle to be delivered. The shipper would say the vehicle would delivered on this date at this time however as time got closer they would keep pushing the date and time. Once the vehicle was dropped off I never got a bill of lading and mention this to the broker. I also mentioned to the broker about my experience and they mentioned that they would get in contact with the shipper and I have heard nothing ever since then.
Overall this experience to ship my vehicle was a lot more time-consuming than both advertised and mentioned. Both the pickup and drop off dates and time kept changing leading to me to change and clear out my schedule. I asked the broker if there were any possible options of me being compensated for the time in which I had to take out of my days to wait for both the vehicle to be picked up and delivered and nothing was ever brought up.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. My car was delayed to be deliver 3 days, I called and they did not even have a update about delivering day. Both times to pick and drop off the car It was far from my house, specially during the drop off process. The driver only called when he was getting closer so did not give the information prior. He also, called and said that he did not know how to get to the house so he stopped by the freeway 2 miles away from our home. We had a lot difficult to get the car. I had to lease a car for 3 extra days and take a Uber to pick up the car.

My initial pickup canceled on me within an hour of when it was supposed to be picked up. I canceled flights, booked a hotel and lost out on thousands of dollars because of this. The next one picked up the car late and delivered it late. I contacted Harry who said his supervisor would call me and never did. I texted Harry 3 more times for the supervisor to call me back and I never heard back. Will never use again.

It was like a drug deal. Gone bad, I never figured I'd have to have a gun to feel safe when having a car delivered. I was told that I could pay with a cash app, but when the driver got here he demanded cash. The delivery was not timely and was not what I was promised on timing. Nobody answered the phone for support. When the driver was here to collect his funds, it felt like a a drug deal gone bad.

This company was honest... Communicative... Perfect. I did a lot of research on this type of service and I'm grateful that this company was honest and cost efficient. I was pleased with the dispatcher communication but I wasn't happy with the drivers and the delivery. I had to contact them numerous of times and wonder where is my car. I had to pick up my car from a car lot because they took forever to bring me my car after they told it will be here on a certain time and day. I didn’t receive any discounts or anything. Then when I got to the car lot, I had to wait another hour for someone to remove and bring me the keys. Also be aware of a scam company that are similar to them which is Amerifreight Logistics LLC. They are scammers.

I was given initial quote of $1160 and Final quote was around $1850 before the pickup. During the initial quote request, I mentioned everything about my Jeep having 35-inch tires and 2-inch lift. During the Pickup Driver mentions that Jeep is huge with big tires even though I mentioned during my initial request. During the pickup I was asked to pay additional money on top of $1850 even though I paid premium price. I would never recommend AmeriFreight to anyone.

My car engine completely died on my trip to SC for mother's day. My husband and I completely panicked because we were 3 hours from home and the dealership quoted us $14,000 for repairs. We just needed to get the car back to NC and get a game plan together. Luckily I remembered my niece used a shipping company to ship her car from NC to California about 4 years ago. I called her up and she texted me the information I needed. Just as quickly as I got in touch with AmeriFrieght, Jennifer, my agent was contacting me. I recently contacted AmeriFreight and several other transportation brokers including ones I've used in the past for an enclosed transport of a motorcycle (and box of parts). AmeriFreight was very quick to respond and offered the best pricing by a significant margin (over 25% cheaper than the 2nd cheapest). AmeriFreight shipped my blue Jeep Wrangler. The woman who answered when I called, Jennifer, was so pleasant. It was gonna cost about $300 more than the prior company that had fallen through but at that point, I was desperate. Jennifer was so helpful. It was because she was so pleasant, easy to work with, and wonderful that I automatically wanted to work with AmeriFreight. She was not misselling their services because everything was as I had hoped. As far as the quote, it seemed within reason and it was exactly what the final cost was. My car had some bugs on the windshield, which was no surprise, but there were no damages.

We had AmeriFreight ship a Honda Odyssey from Cleveland, Ohio to San Diego, California, and our experience was great. The pick-up time didn't happen as the schedule. The driver was supposed to come on Friday. But then he called me the same day after I talked to the agent and she told me the driver will come on Friday. A person who was the driver called me and told me, “I will come and pick your car in two hours.” It didn’t happen on the schedule. Because I wanted to get this done, I ended up asking him to come 8:00 p.m. to get the car because we needed the car. But the driver finally came like 11:30 p.m. After that, everything was smooth. The driver was a nice guy.

The first car I shipped was in 2002 and I shipped it from Phoenix to Cleveland to make it easy. It was 1,000 bucks. To ship this vehicle from Saint Louis to here, 20 some years later, it was 1,200 bucks. I can't get fairer than that. The person I worked with was excessively thorough, which is what sold me on it. I knew that it could be a call at any moment in time. This is something that was gonna be a big situation, where one day it might be 1,200 and the next day, it might be 1,150 depending on my availability at that moment in time. These guys gotta pick up and leave when they gotta leave.
During pick-up and delivery, the guy had a language barrier that was bad but that was fine. The driver told me he was there and told me too that he was leaving. There was no, "Hey," which I get. They brought the vehicle straight to my house and helped me get it in the backyard because I'm not gonna have some old rusted Land Rover out front. On the customer service side, the AmeriFreight reps were all over it, honest and rad to deal with.

The rep that I dealt with was the most amazing woman. She was so helpful and she kept in constant contact with me. There was a time where she was on vacation, but it was gonna be right about the time AmeriFreight would be reaching out to find a driver. She made sure that another woman handled it for me. She also reached out to me. She was so helpful and kind. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me with it. But the driver I ended up having did not speak a lot of English. So, I had no problem with AmeriFreight but I had problems with whoever they contracted to ship my car. It was hard to communicate with them. But I don't blame that on AmeriFreight.
When the vehicle finally got out to California, I tried to contact the driver, and it was really hard to find a place to meet up with him. He kept saying that he couldn't come to our address because the streets were too narrow. I told him that there was not a space to park anywhere near here so he could just tell me where he wanted to meet. It took about an hour to try to find him. When I finally found him, he was on the side of the road, which in California with these crazy drivers, that was a little dangerous.

I kept calling AmeriFreight and they gave updates. The communication between the AmeriFreight representative and the truck driver and then the truck driver to myself was very responsive and very quick. The pick-up location is at Fort Drum, New York and the day it was awarded, the very next day was the pick-up date. In total, though, it took about maybe three and a half weeks. It was a little bit frustrating. I've shipped my vehicle before and I was given a specific date and time, and they were there on that specific date and time. But with AmeriFreight, the process was back and forth. I got a date but they didn't pick up that date and time. I was being told that they're still trying to figure out what carrier or I was told that I should increase my price, maybe and try and throw that bid out again.
I started noticing that it was all about bidding. At first, I was told it was gonna be $1,200 and AmeriFreight would put it out there. They got a carrier and gave a date. But they never picked up the vehicle until I raised the bid to 1,900. That's when we had an offer and the date. The driver contacted me and we got it picked up. AmeriFreight is reliable.

The price was decent. The only issue we had was getting a driver in there to pick it up because it was in a remote location. But AmeriFreight addressed that the best way they could.

I like the price of AmeriFreight and their availability ‘cause it was short notice when I needed to ship my vehicle. They were very straightforward and prompt. They answered any questions I had. It was overall a good experience. They gave me an estimate of the timeline over the phone and when the driver picked it up, he told me when it was gonna be there. I got what I paid for, especially if the vehicle shows up exactly how I expected it would the way it was shipped.

Very pleased with the shipment of my car from AZ to MO. The process was smooth and much easier than I thought. Raziah and Hannah with AmeriFreight were super helpful and responsive to my questions. From my first interaction, the customer representative was good. She was outstanding and if it wasn't for her, there's no way I would have dealt with AmeriFreight. Amerifreight assisted with what amounted to a rogue driver with delays, shady practices, a horrible attitude and little communication. Apparently Amerifreight will no longer be doing business with that vendor due to this experience. Amerifreight made it right by assisting throughout the process and making sure my car made it to its location. Jennifer thank you for your help with that rogue driver.

I had an RV shipped and then a week later I needed to have an SUV shipped. My drivers, Martin & Benjamin, were awesome, and stayed in contact with me throughout their trips. AmeriFreight was extremely quick. A lot of companies had open timelines but AmeriFreight was able to narrow down a timeline. They also had one of the best prices. The piece where I put in all the information to have that quote made for me was helpful. I knew what information I was needing as I was going back and forth. There were a lot of information missing and we were moving a vehicle to a place we weren't in. We had no clue about where dropping off was. But AmeriFreight very patient and considerate with us.
The military moves at their pace. But once they're ready, you move at their pace. Our timeline was a period of a few days and it was all very uncertain. It was December, but we couldn't finalize it. We got the finalization two weeks before we needed to plan a move. It was quite a tight time and I was expecting a price jump. But even with the price jump, it was still below the other options. When they picked up my vehicle, the gentleman was very kind. I had a good chat with him as we were getting the vehicle set up. AmeriFreight would be my go-to if we were to move again.

My AmeriFreight broker, Tim, was really good about answering my questions. I was a little bit confused when they gave me a quote of 850, then I had to understand the process more. It ended up being 900 something and they gave me a military discount for my son to whom I was shipping the car to. Then it went to 904. I was a worried mom and Tim calmed me down. He was also good about answering my texts. In the end, my experience of shipping a car to a military place went pretty good. It was transported from Texas to South Carolina.
Considering it was a very small car, it didn't take up a whole lot of room, so the cost could have been a little bit less. But it was the going rate, so I understood. Also, I could have had a little bit more communication with the driver, but there was a little language barrier and he did better if I texted him than if I spoke to him on the phone. Aside from that, the car was picked up a day late and got there a day late. But then again, it was an estimation and the delivery went smoothly.

They were good and pleasant. They were giving me information when I called or messaged them. The pickup was in Virginia and the drop-off was in Alabama. I was told one day, but the drop-off was delayed a few hours. It was understandable. The pickup was easy. That truck was not that big and my street was wide enough for the truck. The driver was able to get in and out of my neighborhood with no problem. The driver was nice, too.

I liked the open and fast communication channel with the agent and it made everything smooth for me. It was great. It took about five days for delivery and that worked fine for me. The driver communicated with me while they picked up the item, and once they got to my city, they made a phone call. It took about three hours before they got to my location. The driver was patient because I was not available and he had to wait for me to come to the location and deliver the item to me in person. It came in good shape, and the final price was the same as the quote.

The man I worked with at AmeriFreight, John, was really good and always available. The only thing that was not great was the tow once they delivered the vehicle. From my understanding, I didn't have to be at the drop-off location and that if no one was there to take the vehicle, that would be okay. They would just call me and send pictures. When the driver got there though, he started getting irritated that no one was there to help him take the vehicle off the ramp. And he said he was going to leave the car in the street. I had told him that he couldn't leave it there as there was no parking.
We had to do a back and forth because he kept saying he was just going to leave then and not drop the vehicle off. Once he finally did, he sent me a picture and told me to send him his money. It just felt unprofessional to me. But that had nothing to do with AmeriFreight. They shipped my car for about 881 miles and their quote was lower than other companies. So I was impressed.

I'm in the military and I needed to transport a vehicle. The person that I spoke with at AmeriFreight was very helpful. I was told that they would be flexible up to five miles near my home. But they could not drive to my home in Philadelphia. So I had to go out of my way to meet the driver, which is fine. They were on time. The driver was not helpful, though. I tried to ask him questions. I think English was his second language. But I called AmeriFreight and I was satisfied. The quote was accurate, too.

Harry was very knowledgeable and honest with explaining how the transport business works. He found me a driver for my vehicles within a day. The driver showed up on time and actually let me know he could deliver the vehicles a day early. Harry made the process pretty smooth and kept in communication the entire time. I was super hesitant because the last company I used to ship my vehicles put me through a nightmare- which is too long to go into on this forum. The person I talked to was knowledgeable and set up the transport really easily for me. I had a BMW Z4 2006 coming from Tampa, Florida to Michigan, and the pick-up was fine. During delivery, they got stuck at a low bridge and we had to drive about 15 minutes. Other than that, they had it there in just a little over 24 hours. That was nice.

I had AmeriFreight arrange the moving of two vehicles for me, and it was simple. I told them what vehicle I had, and they gave me an unofficial price quote, and then reached out and told me when a carrier had offered to move the vehicle. Once AmeriFreight was out of the picture, the carrier took a couple days, and I never talked to AmeriFreight again until after the vehicle was delivered. In between, if I needed them, I could call, but I didn't need to because nothing went wrong. I definitely would not move a vehicle without using a company like them. I had a really good experience, and I'd use them again. I had an issue on the second time with the carrier, and AmeriFreight was the in-between and helped me out.

I've arranged for 3 vehicles to be transported. FOUR STARS: The shipping of the two cars went smoothly, and on time. TWO STARS: The Airstream motorhome made it down to Florida just fine, but the driver made a wrong move once inside the storage area and hit one of the buildings with the back of the Airstream. There was damage to both. He refused to give his insurance info, and tried to convince the police he was not responsible for the damage. Better screening of drivers will help.

The initial process was fairly simple to get a quote and to send out a request for a carrier, but that ended up being the only part that was stress-free and simple. The true amount to ship was much higher than quoted. The representative for AmeriFreight pressured me into accepting a carrier's offer by telling me that it was urgent to accept the quote before the carrier moved on to another offer. Once I agreed to the contract, then it seemed like the whole process came to a halt. I was daily calling my representative to get updates. The carrier was giving me pick up dates, but not following through and canceling. AmeriFreight was at times helpful to get through to the carrier to push for a pick up date, but often they would take my information and wait for me to call them the following day. This went on for about 9 days before finally having someone follow through and pick it up on a Sunday.
We're truly sorry for the frustrations you encountered during your shipping experience. The economy rate provides a starting point, but the final price can vary based on carrier offers presented to you. AmeriFreight’s price wasn’t bad. It was more reasonable. I had a price of about 200 higher but they were more highly reputable. I didn't want something bad to happen to the car so I was looking for a middle ground between a price and somewhere that was reputable and the price was better. I had a small issue with the scheduling, but they're usually packed. They're transporting thousands of vehicles, and I get that they’re trying to shove me. I was speaking to someone at the office who made things a lot simpler for me. I only gave the car away for pick-up but it was easy enough.

AmeriFreight was incredibly responsive and followed through on everything from the initial phone call through the final delivery. The reps were very clear and detailed about what to expect, how much it was gonna cost, and how the process worked. They were not pushy. When they said they would send out information, it was sent out immediately. When they said they would follow up, they followed up immediately as well. At every step of the way, they were absolutely spot on with doing everything they said they were gonna do.
They picked it up a day early and dropped it off two days early. They called in to make sure that it would work for us. If we had said no, then there would have been no change, but it worked better for us with the revised schedule. They outperformed everything along the way. The quote was very accurate. I talked to other organizations and they were vague in how this whole process worked. I was pretty skeptical but I was blown away by how well this worked with AmeriFreight. I have one point of contact so I was able to call or email or text her, and there was always a response.
One day, I emailed and called but didn't get a response. I got a call back from somebody else because it was on a Monday or Tuesday, and those were my contact’s days off. Instead of just letting those messages sit there till she came back, somebody else in the company picked up her messages and followed up so that I got a response. That is service above what I have come to expect from a lot of services. That is terrific on our end, especially under the circumstances where we were packing up our home, had to be on the road by a certain date, and if we couldn't get the car on a truck ready to go, then it was gonna delay our departure. They were delivered on every step of the way. It's such a delight when you find a company that delivers. I would recommend AmeriFreight to anybody who's considering doing something like this.

I have had a couple truly horrifying moving/transport experiences. The memories of being lied to and cheated with no recourse leaves one scarred for a while. THIS transport is one that goes a long way to erasing the bad memories. The process was smooth and predictable - just as AmeriFreight said. All aspects of contracting, pickup and delivery were very performed. Once we were informed that a driver was engaged, we only had to sit back and wait (not too long). The driver was uber-professional and knowledgeable and chose a pickup and delivery spot that was close-by and very safe for the loading operation. Except for a crazy amount of dirt covering the car, it was in perfect shape when I got it back. This event went so well, that I sent another vehicle back in the opposite direction days later.

Amerifreight told me they could meet a window that the guy I was buying with would be able to be at home. They did not hit the window but fortunately enough, the person that was selling the car lived in a very nice neighborhood and was willing to leave the keys hidden on the car. Besides that little confusion with the pickup which was a unique situation with me having a very short window, everything else was great with Amerifreight. They dropped the car off within the day that they promised that they would have it delivered. The driver kept me updated. He contacted me multiple times on what the ETA looked like and the last contact was when he was about 30 minutes out. That was a quick process.
I would consider Amerifreight again. I paid a little more than what I was going for with the other one, but it was based off them being able to meet that time frame. Communication is key and with AmeriFreight, they were great on that. That made the experience a lot easier than my experience a year ago with another provider that I couldn't get a straight answer when they were coming.

I worked with Andre and he was very knowledgeable. Every time I call or text him, he was right there. We kept up with each other and he talked me right on through the process. I thought the quote they gave me was high but after talking to a couple of people, it was a good quote for me all in all. The pickup was very easy. I was really surprised that they didn't need more information other than an address of where the pickup was to be at. I live in South Georgia and the car was coming from Nebraska. It took them a couple days to get down here, but the driver got here a little bit sooner then he thought. I’d tell others to call AmeriFreight.

My experience with AmeriFreight was good. Every time I had a question, the rep answered it. The vehicle was supposed to be here a day earlier. It got here a day late. It was supposed to be here on a Thursday. But it arrived on a Friday. That Friday, I was supposed to go hike up to the range and qualify, but I couldn’t. We had to cancel plans for the range and I missed out on going to Expert Soldier. But the vehicle got here in one piece.

The quote from Amerisave was a little higher than some companies, and a little lower than others. So it seemed to be reasonable. I needed to get a car from the West Coast to the East Coast and they got it there early. I met the driver. He was a business owner and he seemed to take a lot of pride in what he was doing, so I wasn't surprised. He told me he might get there early. He also kept me updated where he was going across the country. I'd recommend AmeriFreight. It was an absolutely painless experience. Also, they didn't change the quote that they gave me. They didn't ask for more or less, and they explained every part of the price in detail.

I had a lot of communication and follow-up with Amerifreight. There was a lot of exchange of information as to what I should expect on my end. They were very informative. They provided me with a bid that's the price that it was upon pickup and their price came in $700 cheaper than the next price that was "guaranteed". Once I received the quote, that was what I was sticking to. There wasn't a surprise hidden charge at the end.
The pick up and delivery were trickier. The pick up happened sooner than expected. I happened to call in for an update and the rep told me there was another pickup that was happening 40 minutes from my place. Also, they weren't coming to my house for the delivery because our new location is in a smaller rural town. I have no problem driving up there to pick it up but we needed to know in advance because we're two hours away. They said 4:00 but it was around 5:00 to 6:00. But they pushed on to make it earlier because I was very insistent with that. I could have insisted that they drop it off at the house but it probably would have changed the price.

AmeriFreight gave me a lower price than what another company gave me and told me somebody could come pick up my car the next day. They put me in contact with the transporter who texted me that same day. They explained the price of it and gave me options. They told me about insurance and what insurance would cover what, and they were detailed about it. The dispatcher for that company was texting me the day before and told me who my driver would be and what time he would get there. She also told me if there were any delays, to let her know and she would get another driver out as soon as possible. The driver of the truck contacted me and told me he'd be an hour late. I was grateful that I had that communication.
They brought the car directly to me. They left it because it was earlier than I expected them to, which was a bonus. They picked it up on Friday and I wouldn't be in until Monday, and they delivered it Sunday. I had somebody in place to pick it up and the driver gave her the keys and took pictures of it. Everything was handled well and I've recommended AmeriFreight three times.

The customer service was topnotch and the rep was professional. He always checked to see if the driver was gonna pick up my car and updated me when he was gonna come pick it up. He gave good info. The driver’s timing of when he said the car was gonna be there was just a little off but it wasn't a big deal. He hit me up ahead of time to let me know that he was gonna be a few hours late. I originally booked with another company and left a deposit then never heard from them again. Fortunately, two days before I had to leave, I found Amerifreight and they came to the rescue. AmeriFreight was responsive and transparent about their fees. The quote was reasonable for the distance though they tried a little bit of upsell. The carrier was a little unreliable at keeping in touch with me from the time that they had my car until the time that they delivered it, but they brought the car close enough to me. It was a large shipping truck so they couldn't get too close because of the side streets. I was happy with the overall experience.

The car was delivered in good condition, but the pickup process was not handled well by AmeriFreight. The carrier did not show up on the scheduled day and then repeatedly delayed for several more days. The Amerifreight agent did not seem tuned in to what was happening. I asked for a small $50 refund to compensate for the extra hassle, but the agent did not respond.

The haulers shifted my truck into 4 wheel drive, ripped one of the CV Axles off. Fixed it myself for $130. Only wanted them to cover the cost of the part, nothing more. Broker won’t pay, the haulers won’t respond to the broker and insurance won’t cover “parts under the truck”. Never again. Look elsewhere.

I looked at a few of the bigger companies and AmeriFreight had the cleanest kind of system for the price and for the availability. My broker was very attentive. She followed up to see if the car was picked up and checked on me after the car had been delivered. She wasn't available on some of the days but the person she handed in case did a great job too. It was very seamless. For the delivery, they were gonna bring it here but the driver got a little confused. He parked a bit away and he asked for permission to just drive the car down. He drove it to one of my sister's new places.

The transport from Florida to Connecticut took five days, which was what AmeriFreight said. The driver and I met at a parking lot for the drop-off and it took about 10 minutes to get the car unloaded. It was simple. He was great and super friendly. The rep I spoke with was very nice to me and was able to help me do everything. The guy who brought me the car was really nice too. He was supposed to go to my place because that was the deal but the street where my house is doesn't allow big trucks so we met somewhere not that far. My experience with AmeriFreight was 5-star. They saved me on a last-minute situation. I was trying to ship my vehicle and I started with another company. But my date got changed so I called the transport company and told them it was gonna be another month. I was two weeks out to ship my vehicle and they were not getting back to me. I was getting to the point where I was getting really nervous. I canceled the order and I started searching on the web, found reviews, and then got a gentleman from AmeriFreight on the phone.
He heard my story and took a moment to stop me, interrupt me, and correct and educate me. It was at that moment I fell in love with this type of communication. We went through once I understood how it worked and then he was able to navigate me through the process by giving me some suggestions on how to put my vehicle in central dispatch and how to raise the price so that it would be more attractive to get the attention that I needed. There were some changes to the quote, but it didn't affect that much. They were expecting an early delivery, which we didn't want. But they ended up delivering it on time. The booking fees are good too. I got a different quote for a newer vehicle versus an old vehicle which was a good learning experience.

I had AmeriFreight ship a Dodge Challenger. My customer service experience was great. I talked to Melissa, and she was helpful. She gave me all these options. She saved me a little money towards the end. The first company couldn't come because the truck broke down and she called me again that day and she was like, “Yo, well, we found another company and they're cheaper but it got all positive reviews." So, I was like, “Cool. Yeah. We can do that.” The pick-up was smooth. The driver came and picked the car up on a Friday afternoon. He was like, “I'll be there Tuesday.” I got a call early Monday and he said, “Yo, is your family home?” I said, “Oh, you got here early.” So, we got the car quicker than I expected and there was no damage. The quality and the cost lined up. It wasn't super expensive but the service was great.

The gentleman from AmeriFreight gave me a price which I did not accept and I came back with another offer, which he said he would check. He called me back to let me know it was fine and told me how long the transport would take. He gave me information over the internet so I could track the actual movement of the trailer truck. I'm in Florida and the vehicle was picked up in Indiana. I bought it for my nephew and he was there. They took pictures. The vehicle was enclosed in the transport and when it got here, they took pictures again. The vehicle arrived safely and I went to pick it up. The gentleman was very nice. I did a lot of research with a lot of different freight companies and found out that there are brokers and that there are carriers as such. Most of these companies are brokers and AmeriFreight is one of them. But they had a lot of good reviews and they were very responsive. They were very competitive in terms of their pricing and their process. I went with them and the transport was about a good 400 miles. They did it on time. It was about four days, and three nights. They were the ones that picked it up. They coordinated the pick-up with the carrier at the dealership in Ohio and delivered it to my house, door to door. It was fantastic. They took good care of the vehicle. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I needed to move my RV from Louisiana to Florida. I was thinking I'd be paying 1,200 to AmeriFreight and I ended up paying 1,500. It was a little bit more than the quote that their rep, Melissa, gave me, but it was not her fault. She had the transport scheduled for the end of the month, but we changed the date to sooner. So, she was in the process of doing it quicker and within an hour of talking to me and posting the pay a little higher, she found me a carrier. Melissa was awesome. She gave me all the steps on how everything works and she helped me with the insurance. But there was one time that I called and she was not available, so somebody else talked to me. That guy talked down on me. I know I didn't know a lot of things but he shouldn't have done that.
The driver called me three days before the pick-up and the estimated time for the delivery changed but he communicated with me all the time. I asked him to put the car in the back of the house, but I realized when he got here that it was going to be difficult. And he took his time to try and put it in. In the end, he couldn't and it was not his fault. It's just that my backyard is tight and we already knew it was a 50:50 chance that it would happen or not, but he kept trying for 40 minutes even though I told him to just leave it in the side. All in all, AmeriFreight did what you they got to do and everything worked out how it was supposed to.

I did a web search first to find out what the possibilities were and then I contacted three or four companies. They were of different prices and AmeriFreight's was an acceptable price and the people who contacted me were very friendly, respectful, and quite helpful. The transport happened very nicely and I was quite pleased with the driver. The trucks about four cars, two stacked on top of two. We met in a Target parking lot before business hours and light rain and it all happened in 5 to 10 minutes.

I had used AmeriFreight on a transaction last year. I called and I got Jennifer who was my representative and she was awesome. I decided to give her a call again for this transaction. I bought a vehicle from a dealership in Iowa and it's not an easy route. She did a great job trying to find somebody and I had to be a little bit patient with it. It was a little bit more than what I wanted to pay, though, but that was just what the market was bearing. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I was told it was door to door service and that's not true, they had a very big lack of communication, I was told I'd be notified the day before delivery, then again an hour before delivery, then when they were actually delivering, none of that happen, when I called (which happened several times) I was told they tried to deliver it (which wasn't true) and couldn't so they took it to a storage yard. I called to figure that out and they said they would return my call and didn't. Called again and said it's being delivered late (which was wrong again). Then I was told they delivered it early and that's why it went to the yard. Talked to several people at Amerifreight and they had no control of all this. I was charged 230$ more for the storage fee.
Also called the actual trucking company that they 3rd partied me to (which they said they weren't going to use 3rd party trucking) and the trucking no answer. Amerifreight said they were going to try and get my money back 230 but never did. Trucking company took my truck to someone's actual house and I had to get picked up at the airport by them and drive 45 min to get my truck. Trucking company said they'd drop my truck off to the airport but didn't. My whole experience was terrible and I will never be doing that again.

Great experience overall. Took a little longer for agent to get back to me but that was because she was off work for a few days, I was able to get assistance from her coworkers and was able to get my car shipped safely back home. The driver forgot to text me that he was at the drop off location but he was willing to wait for me to pick up my car.

Amerifreight personnel were courteous and tried hard to get me a driver-took 3 tries. The driver that took the load parked on an uphill grade when unloading and, with the transported truck in neutral, released the binders on the rear wheels. The transported truck rolled downhill, ran over my leg as I tried to jump out of the way, and crashed into the front of my other truck which was parked downhill. There is damage to the rear bumper of the transported truck and to the front of my other truck. Six weeks later, only now is my injured leg almost healed. The driver is a pleasant individual, but is in way over his head on his ability to work safely!

Although the transaction started off with a bit of confusion (name on orders was dispatcher, not driver. Driver was running late, delivery was quoted to be delivered Monday, then I was told driver was waiting for more cars. Supposedly driver had a 2 car trailer and arrived with a 10 car trailer-which caused me to have to drive a couple of miles to meet him cause he couldn't get down my road) But, all things considered, the rate was low and the job was completed without incident. Driver was polite and respectful. Broker was attentive and involved. Pleased with the service I received.

I used AmeriFreight before and had a good experience which led to my booking them again for a cross-country move. However, I cannot again recommend this company after the experience I had. My car arrived more than a week after the originally projected time delivery time which caused a slough of issues for me which were not addressed by the carrier or company. This was due to a mechanical error with the truck carrying my car and I was given no updates about this or along the way. I only learned of this and received any subsequent updates via following up myself with the shipper, who was a poor communicator. AmeriFreight did not assist in this process and I was not refunded any amount of money either by the carrier or by AmeriFreight despite incurring additional costs of several hundred dollars in rental car fees and transportation costs due to my moving plans being disrupted by this delay.
I also ultimately changed the delivery to 80 miles closer because after this delay I was not in the original delivery location, and still received no fund back. Finally, the pick-up and drop-off are haphazard. I dropped my car off on a freeway on-ramp in the Bronx and had to walk back under a freeway underpass to return to a subway station. While I'm not sure if there's a better option for shipping cars, given my experience I unfortunately cannot recommend this company.

The lady from AmeriFreight was very upfront with me and setting up the transport with her was easy. I told her what I needed and she had it all set up for me. I didn't really do anything but fill out a couple pieces of paper. The pick-up was in Missouri and the drop-off was in Virginia. The transport took three days and other than being covered in pollen because it was pollen season, the vehicle was fine when it arrived. But the driver didn't speak any English, so he translated with his phone, which I didn't like, but it is what it is.

I needed to ship a vehicle for my son from Virginia to Colorado. While the actual price was $600 more than the original quote, it was nowhere near what other reputable companies were charging. The car was scheduled to be delivered within four days. They picked it up the following day when I scheduled it. It was a double-decker truck and they waited outside the city limit or outside the residential area. It was easy and I just brought my car over there and loaded it into the truck. We just had to find a convenient space to park the truck and load the car in. They were really nice. They made the whole process smooth.
The vehicle was in good condition when it arrived. There wasn't any physical damage that I saw. It was just dirty because it's an open container. But, I didn't really get many updates on the delivery besides when I loaded and they said, "You'll get it in four days." It would have been better if they updated me from time to time, like where they were and how far were they from the destination. But besides that, everything else was cool. It was the first time for me to transport my car and it was easy and user-friendly. The quote from AmeriFreight was also accurate. I looked at other transportation agencies and they were giving somewhere about the same quote. It was reliable and reasonable too.

We were a little nervous because I had never hired a company to transport a vehicle. We had talks with another company, but it fell through. They were telling me one thing but doing another thing. I ended up canceling it. When I talked to AmeriFreight, the rep, Lisa, was very straight up. She told me the price could change but she gave me a quote. She said, "I won't take any of your money until I find an actual carrier. I'll let you know before anything goes forward and you have to agree. If you want us to continue looking, sometimes it can be very fast, sometimes it can take time." Everything was making more sense. She explained everything thoroughly. She also said that I would have access to her the whole time if anything went wrong. It was a very different experience with the other company.
When they picked the vehicle up in Virginia, we knew that they weren't gonna be able to pick it up from my friend's home so he went to the closest shopping center and that was the address we gave. Initially, we were concerned because we didn't know if they were gonna find each other. But it wasn't a problem. The driver found the address and gave me a call before he got there. We were communicating with my friend and they found each other quickly. Coming this way to Florida, we knew it wasn't gonna be an issue because he would have access to the neighborhood that we live in. We live off of a main street and he parked right in front of the house on the street and dropped off the truck.

It was great customer service with AmeriFreight. Brandon was amazing. I met the driver at a Home Depot in Maryland ‘cause said it’d be hard for him to get to downtown DC. I met him on the outskirt, but he was able to bring the car directly to me in South Carolina. They gave me updates as far as their time frame.

My experience with AmeriFreight was smooth and very straightforward. When I reached out to them, they said they were gonna reach back out when it was closer to the day when they were gonna pick my car 'cause that was when truckers would be around that area around the time, closer to the day. My car got here a day earlier than the estimated date and the person who picked up my car kept me informed the entire way.
The whole process was good. The person who handled my thing, Amanda, was very hands-on because she reached out to me a few times when they picked it up to make sure everything was going smoothly and after they picked it up as well. Even before, when I reached out to them, she was very communicative as well and very informative.

We were moving from Washington to Florida and I used AmeriFreight when my wife and I moved from Florida to Washington. So, we had already used them and we used the same representative. She was super helpful. Answered all our questions and had it taken care of. The drop-off would be in front of our apartment, but wound up being in front of a grocery store because AmeriFreight scheduled for a certain time, but the company changed time on us twice. It was only supposed to take a week. It took almost two weeks. But that's not on AmeriFreight. It was more on the company there. Their truck broke down. So, we had to wait five extra days. The driver was Spanish, but he spoke good English.

AmeriFreight was phenomenal. We were able to get in touch with them. Things weren't happening the way they should. The car wasn't picked up initially when it was supposed to have been, but AmeriFreight was trying to make everything right. They went above and beyond. We left the car at my mother-in-law's so they could pick up the vehicle there. The man that came didn't speak English. When we got the car, the only difference was that the mirror was pushed in on the passenger side and there was a little scrape on the car.

The transport went quickly. However, I wasn't clear from the time we concluded our call how long it would take to arrange for the transport. I wouldn't have minded a little bit more communication. I asked for unenclosed transportation to save money. It'd already been almost a week and a half since I had paid the car so I was getting a little antsy. The first offer was enclosed transportation, which is good. It's a nice car. I was not unhappy with that, but the final cost was 1,250 and I was quoted 850 initially.

I spent a great deal of time researching car transport companies. There were a few that were consistently at the top of the reviews, Ameri-Freight being one of them. What drew me to them aside from the consumer reviews, was their record for vetting the carriers they use. I also liked their BBB ratings and years in the business. Also, a great plus is that they consistently appeared to have competitive pricing. My daughter was moving 3000 miles cross country, so reliability, service, and price were important. She was arriving at her destination on a set date, so it was important that her car not be delivered early.
I worked with Rosalind (Rosie) through the logistics of it all. She was FANTASTIC. Clearly, she knew exactly what she was doing and knew her carriers well. I took great comfort in her expertise and confidence. There was a bit of a hiccup in that the carrier actually came EARLY to pick up the car. Normally, being ahead of schedule, especially in this line of work, is commendable, but, the movers were scheduled at the very time the driver was going to pick up the vehicle (which my daughter told the driver she would accommodate the days early pick up, but just cannot occur during a specific window of time since the movers would be at her place). The vehicle had to be picked up at a local mall a few minutes away, and she would have to walk back home, so that timing was not at all convenient.
Rosie was very helpful at trying to get the carrier to adjust the timing to either earlier or later in the day, especially since we stipulated a "no earlier than" pick up date, but the carrier said they could not shift their schedule. So some scrambling and inconvenience on our side, but the driver himself was excellent when he arrived. He was professional, courteous and fully inspected her vehicle. We understand the process is fluid, but if you have a firm "no earlier than" stipulation, make sure it is CLEARLY communicated right at the start of the bidding process. Again, I do think Ameri-Freight and Rosie did their part, but heed my advice and ensure the bidding spells out your needs).
The vehicle was delivered within the expected delivery window. (I must say the "no earlier than" delivery stipulation was very clearly stipulated). I opted for the Afta insurance (basic). They failed (many times!) to send the proper email with necessary log in credentials. Rosie was great at trying to get this resolved as well. She was always prompt with her responses. The car was delivered on time and no damage/no issues. So, thankfully, the Afta credentials problem was a non-issue as I didn't need to submit a damage claim. Overall, this was a good experience and I would use Ameri-Freight again.

I was trying to arrange shipment of a vehicle from a port (arriving from Japan), and none of the companies I had spoken with could give me a clear sense of the process or a timeline for when things would happen. I was very happy at how smoothly everything went. I worked with Hannah and she was amazing. Kept me informed of the process the whole time. I sent an email with the information and she called and sent me all the paperwork to have it posted. I got a week out. I got another email with information that they had found someone to contract with. So, I paid the money to AmeriFreight, and just had to follow up with the driver.
The driver of the contracted company made things easy for me. He texted me that morning a few times to let me know as he was coming down from LA approximately what the time frame was. I was concerned about the car being driven in California. I wanted to have this little distance between the storage place and the transport as possible so I didn't violate any laws. I figured I would have to stick around for a while and he was able to load the car on the truck and quickly. I planned for the fact that it might not arrive right away. But I was surprised. I left San Diego, was on a flight that evening, and the driver had the car by midnight. It was a quick turnaround and everything went smoothly.

I called AmeriFreight for a quote, and that was when I spoke with Jen who was absolutely incredible. She made me feel very secure with wanting to partner with AmeriFreight to get my car shipped across the country and also to just help with the transition process that is very possibly stressful. She took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. Also, when it came down to comparing prices on the different car shipping companies, AmeriFreight did offer me the best quote.
I was very concerned about how long it would take my car to ship exactly across the country. I was shipping my car from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California. I was working on a very tight time frame in terms of when I needed my car in the state of California to get around once I flew here, and managing different things for my move-in. I was also concerned about the safety of my car during transport and what that experience would be like. And right off the bat, Jen answered every single one of my questions.
She made me feel confident and safe in the process, and she always made it feel like she was gonna make sure that my car was handled with care and that it was gonna get the best possible transport that it could receive. I ended up having very few questions after my initial conversation with Jen because she gave me so much information, and she allowed me to have an insight on how the company works and how the process works that I felt very at ease with everything.
As far as the pickup, I lived off of a boulevard in Miami, so they couldn't drive their truck into my neighborhood. They parked the truck in the middle lane of the boulevard, which is a turning lane, but also just a buffer lane. I just had to drive my car out up right behind the truck. Thankfully, it was a very low traffic time of day, so it wasn't very busy. So it wasn't a terrible drop-off process for them to take my vehicle and transport it. The courier driver with the subcontracted company that ended up taking up my contract was a little sketchy. With my contract, I had listed that I was gonna have a lot of personal items in my vehicle. I had already talked about how there's usually the 100-pound personal limit. Unfortunately, I needed to put more stuff in my vehicle, so we made sure, when my contract was posted and listed, that whoever picked up the contract would know that there would be more weight on the car. The contract was accepted.
When I went to drop off the car, the courier driver was kind of surprised by how much stuff I had in the car even though I was still following regulation of keeping everything below the window. I was meeting those expectations. He started questioning me about the personal belongings that I had in my car. He started asking me if things in my car were really necessary to take in the vehicle. This was stuff I was putting in my car to ship across the country because I was moving. Those aren't things I can take on a plane. So, it made me feel very sketched out, and he ended up telling me that he wanted me to pay them an extra $300 to ship the car after the contract had already been accepted because of the personal weight limit.
I was like, “Is this a price that you are trying to negotiate with me outside of the contract, or are you telling me this is something your company is telling you to do?” He said it was something that his company was telling him to do because of the personal weight limit. It felt very shifty because I felt like that would have been something that was negotiated prior to finalizing the contract, an extra charge like that versus when they come and pick up the car themselves.
Overall, I cannot stress enough how much Jen was so accommodating and caring. I told her about the situation where the driver was trying to get me to pay extra. I let her know later that day. I called her. She heard me and she heard everything that I said, and she resolved that issue for me so quickly. She was like, “You're not gonna pay a dollar over what you agreed in the contract.” Sure enough, she went to the transport company. She cleared everything up with them. If those are the kind of representatives that AmeriFreight has at their company, I would recommend it 1,000 times over for transport. I felt very protected. It was a very big relief and a weight off my shoulders during such a difficult move and a difficult process for me to have peace of mind and say, “You know what? Jen got this.” I don't have to worry about my car because I know she's looking out for me.

Overall, my experience with shipping a vehicle across country with AmeriFreight was good. They’re the broker, but they also did a good job communicating between myself and the carrier. Maleah ** did a good job communicating and making sure things were followed up on properly. If she wasn’t available, somebody else on her team would pick up the ball and address my questions. I thought it was a bit odd that the carrier picked up my vehicle and let it sit in a staging lot for a week before it was actually transported. But it all turned out OK as they were close to meeting the estimated delivery date.

The service was top notch. Guy who delivered did a great job. I did have an issue as my agent was out of the office right when I needed to book, but when I called, the replacement got right on it. I did feel a bit of bait and switch on the pricing. Told $675 was what I could expect. Actual charge was closer to $1000.

Setting up the transport was easy and the rep told me exactly what was gonna happen. My concern was the man's trailer was pretty rough. The floorboards were not very well and you had to move around some plywood just to avoid the hole. But overall, it was not a bad experience and there was no damage to my car. Also, the cost was reasonable.

A rep told me I could use a check for payment but the dispatcher said they don't take checks. Then, I wanted to pay with a credit card and the driver said that had I told him in advance, I could have used a credit card. That was the only bad thing but it wasn't a real big issue. I just wanted to use my credit card instead of using my cash. Other than that, I had a good experience. He let me know every time he stopped. He got lost and we had to get him and bring him on where we were but that wasn't a problem. He was good.

AmeriFreight offered me the best rates that I could get with the rest of all the other people that I was working with. The person I had who was in charge of my order was very easy to work with. She was on top of everything. Any time I had a question, she was almost always readily available to answer. The transport was from Arkansas to Utah. They were on top of everything, so I didn't have any problems or concerns. My parents were there for pick-up, and they didn't have any issues. The drop-off was the same. The driver came in, he put the car right where I needed it, and he even helped me put it in the garage because it wouldn't run. So, that was above and beyond.
The quote was a little bit iffy, but it wasn't a big deal because I do understand the area it was coming from. There were not a lot of drivers coming out of the countryside of Arkansas. So, I can't necessarily disagree with it, and even after the final pricing had come in, it was still cheaper than all the other competitors and before the before pick-up, they let me know, "It's this much for this driver. I called them and left a message and they called me right back the next morning. The guy picked up the boat when he was supposed to and got it here when it was supposed to and they followed up with me after it was picked up and after it was delivered. The boat was perfect when it was delivered and the price was what they told me it was gonna be. I had used them in the past to ship a truck and I had the same experience. They followed up with me and made sure I knew exactly when it was being picked up. It was a good experience both times. I was real impressed with the service they provided, especially the price.

Their initial quote was good however, the final cost was much higher. Got a frantic call the of and now realize the trick played. Speaking with the actual Transporter (Who was great) my suspicion was confirmed that we both got got! As it stands the other companies I contacted Gave me the true cost without playing any games. Don't rely on those Google reviews so much as asking dealerships for their recommendations.

Everything went well. The cost increased about $100 or more, but pick-up and delivery were quick and easy. The transport took four days ‘cause there was bad weather, but the communication was good. The driver was also able to bring the vehicle close to our house.

Everything was great with AmeriFreight. I transported a Ram ProMaster City thru them for 2,500 miles which was pretty far. Their website was easy to use and their rep, Cy, was great the whole time. He told me he was going to send me an email with a confirmation code, so I could confirm and my car would go on the listings for people to pick it up. I went ahead and confirmed it, then they found a driver. Those people were less cool than the AmeriFreight people. But they drove 2,500 miles, so I understood. Other than that, my car arrived in good condition and everything was just as I expected.

Our contact at AmeriFreight was Lisa and she was phenomenal. Very informative, professional, patient and helpful. My son is in the Air Force and we were shipping his vehicle to him. I was very nervous about it but she explained the process and called with several offers. We ended up transporting to California from Georgia with Suly Auto Transport, which was also an outstanding experience. 10 out of 10, would recommend. Lisa ** from AmeriFreight did a great job arranging for my car to be transported on relatively short notice. She was very polite and professional. The problem was with the carrier: Roadway Auto Transport, LLC and Rafael Martinez. They were supposed to pick up my car by 6:30 pm and it was not picked up until the next day at 12 noon. On delivery, the driver said he was going to arrive in 1/2 our and he showed up 3 hours later. I would have appreciated more communication, but the car finally arrived in good condition.

Within a couple hours of calling them they had had a truck The Iron Transport Inc. for me. They pick up my car in LA. the next morning when the dealership open and delivered it to me in PA a day any a half later with the driver Jafar ** keeping me updated on their process. Everything went prefect, on time and on budget. It was $800 in total.

Car was delivered w/in the timeframe, and in good shape. Actually getting the vehicle (+ or - 48hrs of the expected delivery date) became challenging. Expected delivery was scheduled for a Sunday, but when trying to arrange, delivery company said "we don't deliver on Sundays." Apparently, they didn't deliver in the PM either. So, getting the stars to align in order to get the car was challenging, and their lack predictability impacted my ability to plan. But, the car was in great shape so that's good.

While your vehicle arrived safely and within the timeframe, we understand that the lack of flexibility regarding Sunday and evening deliveries with this particular carrier caused unnecessary stress. We had a bit of a delay when the driver went to the wrong airport, but when he arrived, the vehicle was quickly loaded and secured. Delivery was just as promised the next day. We had a bit of a communication issue due a language barrier with the driver, but the overall experience was very good.

I had to transport a new vehicle from Austin, TX to Atlanta, GA. After receiving over 100 quotes, calls and emails, I was overwhelmed. I looked at the top 5 rated companies online and AmeriFreight was the one with the best balance between price and ratings. AmeriFreight is a broker. So, I contact them. I did it online and they contacted me. I told them where the car would go, from point A to point B, what it is, the size of it. And they instantly send me back a quote based on that. I got a follow-up phone call. I wait for a trucker to pick it up for that price. But what they generally do is come back with a higher price. They contacted me four different times with an increased rate from what that original quote was, which I knew I would have to go up a bit because they haven't seen the actual vehicle. But I wouldn't go $600 or $400 higher.
It was a good interaction back and forth. AmeriFreight would call me with a quote, I would say no. We found one that was a couple of hundred dollars of what the original quote was, and I accepted it. At that point, they turned it over to the trucker. Once I accepted, I had to give them a small deposit and the remainder would be paid on the other end. That was all there was to the AmeriFreight side of it. The trucker was in contact me to say what day they would be here, and what time. AmeriFreight made sure that the truckers were insured. They've been verified. There were two drivers and they picked up the truck on a Saturday and had it delivered in Michigan by Monday. It was fast. The truck also got their perfect shape that it had been sent to.

I called customer service at AmeriFreight and asked them for a booking. When I talked to the lady, she said that they could secure me a driver within some time and gave me a quote. I said okay and they called me back with the quote and the reservation and how much I would have to pay down. I paid that and when the driver came, I also had to pay half of the remaining balance. And on delivery, I had to pay another half. At the time, the quote was a little high because I moved my whole household and it was higher than the other company's estimate. But the other company couldn't secure a driver. So, you get what you pay for. The final cost was about $1,000 more than the first quote. At the end of the day, the little bit more than it cost ended up paying for itself because I finally got the car booked and shipped because I didn't wanna drive across the country.
I interacted with the driver when he picked the car up as well as when he dropped it off to me in Mississippi. He worked with me on the location. I was in a hotel room at the time and he came straight to the hotel instead of the first address that I had listed, and that saved me a little bit of time from having to drive to him versus the latter. It was here about two days after he picked it up, which exceeded my expectations. AmeriFreight is reliable. I was going through a very turbulent transitional point, and I was annoyed with everything. And AmeriFreight came through.

I talked to AmeriFreight and they were incredibly quick and responsive. They were very nice, very good, courteous and efficient. I liked their alacrity. I had them ship a small Mazda from New York to San Diego. Their customer service rep called me and then she gave me a quote, and sent me a quote online by email. There was some problem with the first person. The truck broke down. So, I said, “Well, I'm not very comfortable with that.” She immediately found another transporter, and they came and collected the car two days later than initially but that was fine. I then came to the other end and they contacted me and I went to pick up my car. It was reasonably simple and easy. My car came intact. John drove the truck and he was lovely.

I spoke to Jen at AmeriFreight and she was very knowledgeable and it seemed like she was more honest than the other place I talked to. Also, she was totally responsive, very helpful, and she followed up. She reached out to make sure everything was all right. The gentleman who was my broker was absolutely fantastic. He was very clear cut in telling me exactly what was gonna happen, what he needed, and what I needed to do to help me navigate the situation and figure out what was best. I like that AmeriFreight has somebody willing to cut over to where we needed the vehicle delivered. I had a representative and she was on it and kept me informed up until the time they picked up the truck. The delivery of the vehicle was good, except they had told me that I could Zelle the money but I couldn't Zelle the money and it was a panicked moment because I wasn't sure how I was gonna get them paid. It was limited on how you could pay them. I had to use one of the manager’s PayPal accounts because the driver didn't have one. When you're trying to deliver cross country and you're not there to give them a check, that's difficult, but that'd be it. The cost was okay. It wasn't a steal, but it was okay and they seemed to take good care of the car.

Once I put in my request, Amerifreight got me the information that I needed. They were even trying to contact me. I was the one who was not responding as quickly as needed. So, they tried to get me in and had the information that I needed. Once I got it back to them, they were able to get me the quotes that I needed, and then we went from there. When I got the actual breakdown of the price compared to the price that I paid, I was extremely happy about it considering that it was also an enclosed shipment. It was a really great price.
The lady who took care of getting me the vehicle that moved my car was very great, and she got me everything that I wanted. She was very communicative. She was able to follow up and check in. She worked with me to make sure that I got the dates that I wanted. When there was an issue and I wasn't hearing back from the drivers who were supposed to be picking up my car, she took it upon herself and called and followed up and made sure that everything was situated. She got in contact with the drivers, got all the information as to what happened why the car wasn't picked up, and then called me back to let me know. She was very proactive in getting my car shipped to me in the timeframe that I wanted it to be.

Harry, the rep I worked with, was polite, on time and responsive. Usually, you call the customer service and tell them where you want your car to be picked up and where you want it to be delivered. Then, they put out the order or whatever it gets bid on and they come to you and say what it'll cost. You pay a portion up front and then once it gets delivered, you pay the rest to the carrier. The first time, I did a lot of shopping around and AmeriFreight got me a decent price. So the second time, I just went with them again. It could be cheaper. But overall, I got my car a couple of days early too.

They were wonderful and we had no issues at all. Our situation was really on a very short time crunch because, originally, we were going with another company but they left us on red the night before. They said that there would be a truck driver. The AmeriFreight representatives who helped me pulled through for us. We were very fortunate that there was a driver who submitted a quote or bid for our quote. Very grateful for the customer service that was provided. The driver was wonderful, too. Their sales team was pretty good with following up on everything. Initially, the car was supposed to get ready on a Monday, and I would pick it up on a Friday. But the car got ready earlier in the week. So, by Wednesday, it was ready for pick-up. I told Melissa that on a Tuesday and she told me that she would check if she could find a carrier for me. They gave me the estimate and I was clearly told about what the fees were. There were no hidden charges and they told me, "The only fee that you have to pay is the one that goes to AmeriFreight, but the carrier, you're gonna have to pay in cash only when the car is delivered." So, I did that. I paid $219 to AmeriFreight and then the remaining payment was $600 for the transport. The best part was that the car was delivered the next day. I was surprised because I didn't expect it to come that fast but it all worked out.

AmeriFreight gave me at least an initial quote without me needing to give them a bunch of my information and their initial quote was helpful for me to figure out what made more sense. The pricing ended up being about the same to ship my car with them based on their original quote and fly than it was to drive myself at this point. So, I would much rather just ship my car. After I got the initial quote and gave them my information, one of their agents contacted me and we talked for a little bit. She explained the timeline that I'd be looking at and all of the ins and outs of what the contract was going to look like. She worked hard to help me out. She was thorough, clear and helpful. The price ended up being a little bit higher, but I also was asking five months in advance. She warned me she couldn’t promise the price would be the same, but they would try their best. So, it was a transparent and clear process. I appreciated it.
The transport was from Houston to the Bay Area. So, it’s far and we ended up with a duo driver. They didn't sleep at all, which is insane because the drive usually is 30 hours and it was less than 48 hours from the time they picked it up to when they dropped it off. They were communicative as well. They mostly were texting and calling me. They let me know when they were 30 minutes away and where to meet them so that they could make sure they had somewhere safe to drop off my car from their truck. It was great. It was the smoothest part about the move. The agent, Melissa, did a great job.

Setting up the transport was super easy and I would work with the rep next time. They scheduled the delivery anywhere from to five days and it ended up taking three. The driver called me when he was two hours out, asking where he could drop off the car. I found a parking lot and he dropped it off there. It was kind of a downpour and he unloaded the car in the fire lane so the whole interaction was super fast.

I ordered a thumb for my excavator off of eBay and the person I bought the part from looked it up and he said that AmeriFreight was the only one available so we went with them. The seller set up the transport and the delivery took longer because of the weather. Other than that, they did a good job.

Setting up transport with AmeriFreight was fairly simple. The guy was really great and had me fill out the form. He told me exactly what would happen, which did, which was that the driver would contact us and set up the window of time when he would be there and he was absolutely on time. It was right at our door. The guy picked it up from our driveway. It was amazing and delivered it on time.
The driver was professional. There wasn't a lot of small talk. It was quick. He identified who he was and he had called me and said he was on his way over. He couldn't get his truck down my driveway. So he walked over from a street over, picked up the car, drove it up, and put it on the truck. He also took pictures of the car. I had stuff in the trunk. I had pictures of my own. But everything was there when it got there. When the vehicle arrived to my son, it was very dirty. But it had snowed and rained for three days. So it wasn't anything they could do. It was an open carrier. The quote was completely accurate too, exactly what they told us was what I paid.

They were amazing. A company to do what they did from start to finish and do everything they said they would do was perfect. I was very pleased with them. This is the second time I used them. The driver was professional. He took his time to get my car on the bed, answered any questions I had, gave me a good window of which he was going to be delivering the vehicle and he stayed within all of that. He let us know if there were any issues, like if they hit weather, he would most definitely make sure we were aware of that. Their communication was stellar and that's a rarity in a lot of businesses. The woman I dealt with, Lisa, was amazing to the point that I remembered her name. They were pleased when I called them for a second time. She was really happy that we remembered her.

AmeriFreight's quote is lower compared to other providers. But I didn't realize there was a broker fee from the initial quote. It raised the cost but it was still competitive with the other quotes. Their reps were great and the process was easy. They called me to figure out what the best place for drop-off was. I live in a really dense urban area in San Francisco. They wanted to find a good spot and we ended up finding a place a mile away.

This was our first experience with having a car shipped to Fl. Our pick-up date was quoted but the car wasn't picked up until two days after the date quoted. Likewise, the delivery date was two days after the quoted date. We did appreciate the assistance of agent Jennifer ** who did a good job of keeping us informed. We didn't like the fact that the phone number of the carrier Skyline Trans. Inc. went unanswered for two days when we needed the drop off date information. We just got a recording.

The communication leading up to the pick up of my vehicle was lacking to say the least but in the end my car was delivered on time and in excellent condition. I wish there was more communication from AmeriFreight in the days before the scheduled pick up. They were 9 hours late in picking up my car and nobody called.

I found out the hard way that auto transport is a complicated and difficult process. When I first requested a quote from several providers, I became inundated with calls from sketchy people offering dirt cheap prices to transport my vehicle. However they wouldn't provide any detailed answers to my questions and would rarely answer the phone or respond to texts. When I called AmeriFreight, their staff were extremely helpful and available whenever I called. They explained the whole process of procuring a carrier which made me comfortable using their service. It took a while to find a carrier due to me being in Colorado in the middle of winter but eventually they delivered. They also worked hard to negotiate a fair price. Thanks guys!

Driver pickup on time, delivered with a weather delay, understood during winter. Problem for me was paying as I was not at either end. I have shipped several cars under same circumstances, my credit card was accepted. This time was a scramble to get someone there as receiver was shooting a movie in Australia.

We were very pleased with AmeriFreight’s service when we shipped our son’s truck all the way across the country. He is at his first duty station and we just didn’t have the time to drive all the way anytime soon so we started looking for shipping. This review in no way reflects on driver. He was awesome!! I called in for quote. Was given a reasonable one. Multiple calls to assess if I had driver as I was on a tight time frame. No returned phone calls. Finally was told if I offered more per mile I would get driver!! Paid several hundred dollars more than original quote. Very bait and switch!! Very stressful!! Would never recommend!!

AmeriFreight had a reasonable quote that I was good with utilizing their service. I had a whole bunch of questions about the process and top to bottom, the customer service was great. They contacted me to schedule everything. There were multiple parties involved, so we threw them some curveballs along the way. We ended up getting it picked up earlier than they were supposed to. They called me when they were on the way to pick it up. Then they were able to contact the person that was actually there to get it loaded onto the truck. I was contacted about 12 hours before it was gonna be dropped off and notified that they would be dropping it off and then contacted again about an hour before it arrived so that I was there and prepared to sign for it.

I shipped my car from Watertown, New York to Monterey, California. It was supposed to take five days, but there was a snowstorm in New York. So they had to pick up the car a day later. It was picked up on a Tuesday and I received it on a Sunday. The roads in the area where I was staying at the time are pretty small. So we had to find a good drop-off location. I found a place, but there wasn't a lot of room that day. So the driver found another spot and it was right down the road. It was a pretty quick exchange. He told me to look at the vehicle and make sure that there wasn't anything new on it, like any scratches or marks. I checked the car, I signed, and that was it.
