We picked a plan and then made arrangements, and then they came out to install 13 panels. Their price was very reasonable. They did a roof inspection as well to make sure that I did not need any roofing repairs. Overall, the experience was very positive, and I have given out the rep’s name to some of my friends too. I had a very specific timeframe for pickup and delivery, and Samantha was able to accommodate my needs. The business operates a service that has two components. One is AmeriFreight providing customer interface, the second is finding a transport company, which is a separate company, to actually do the vehicle transport. It was that second portion of the process where the price came in differently than was originally hoped for.

I used them to transport my vehicle from Oregon to Indiana, and I had a great experience. When my vehicle arrived, it was a bit dusty, but it was fine. AmeriFreight gave me the price, and when my vehicle was delivered, it was still the price. There was no funny business. I appreciated that it went exactly as they said it would. It was a bit expensive, but it was a long distance haul so it was reasonable.

They work hard to communicate between you and the shipper to minimize any information that could be lost between interactions. I would recommend them to anyone I know that needs a good shipping broker. Reason for 4 star was the difference in price from online quote to actual quote. Only pickup date was discussed. I needed to coordinate delivery date with the transportation company when they picked up my motorcycle as my travel time was longer than the transportation company's travel time.

AmeriFreight's communication could have been better. That was the biggest issue. The person didn’t show up at the address we had given. When we initially talked to customer service, we gave them the address where we wanted the pickup, but somehow they got our home address instead. Because our street is a small one-way street, we knew it would be a problem. We had picked a plaza where there would be more space. The pickup wasn’t amazing, but on the delivery end, the communication was decent and there weren’t too many issues. Throughout the process, customer service was fantastic.

AmeriFreight gave me the best price. That’s why I used them. And my experience with their representative was fine. Because my expectation was to have a broker negotiate with a trucking firm to get my car from California to Vermont, and some of the vendors have stopped doing that, and they just give you this high quote. So, I wanted somebody who can negotiate, and so I can tinker with the price somewhat.

I shipped multiple cars with AmeriFreight because I relocated about 2,000 miles. And I chose to use them because they seemed to be a good choice among the multiple bids I got. And AmeriFreight was polite and responsive. The pick-up and drop-off process was also smooth. AmeriFreight is a broker, and so you end up dealing with the individual transporter to coordinate those things, but that was just fine. The transporter was easy to deal with. During the drop-off, I met them at a place where they could maneuver their truck because they have a large transport unit that can’t fit in someone’s driveway. AmeriFreight’s quote was also fair. I think they charged a fair brokerage fee, and the transporter received the bulk of the amount.

I needed some type of coverage if the car just randomly breaks down, so I checked out CarShield. The signup process wasn’t difficult at all, and the lady helped me lot and gave me discounts to make it as cheap as possible. At some point I was struggling, and I couldn't afford to pay it, but another representative helped me lower the price even more. I haven't really had to use CarShield, and I don't like the fact that I must pay my deductible. But it's good knowing that I'm covered, so it’s fine.

We're very happy with the AmeriFreight customer service. The quote was very fair and they were able to ship my vintage pickup for 1,200 miles. The pickup went smooth. We dropped it off at a local Walmart and met the driver there. It was painless. They then dropped it off at my daughter's house and unloaded it. That also went well. Amerifreight did a good job. I chose them because they were more honest on the phone when I talked to them. I know how this all works. I've had cars transported before. The people that you pay to transport it aren't the drivers. They basically post something like a Craigslist for drivers. So AmeriFreight said, “We'll post the job. We'll tell you how much the best bid comes in for,” versus saying it's going to be this much, and then tacking on fees added like the other people do.

My husband and I have been talking about AmeriFreight. Customer service with them was phenomenal. We were given a good quote, too. I had to meet them just across the street, a quarter mile, to pick up the cars. But they were able to bring it directly to me there. We were very happy with the AmeriFreight side. Unfortunately, the company that we were outsourced to, there were several hidden things and we were not so happy. I watched them drive through trees with other people's cars getting scratched up, and when our cars arrived, you could tell that similar things happened. We tried to talk to them about it, and they spoke zero English. I wouldn't want to use the same shipping company potentially if I were to do it again.

The pick carrier driver also very professional. He took pictures very carefully and in detail from every corner and angles. The charge of freight is very fair. The delivery was fast and efficient. The car was delivered in good condition without any damage. Even the contents inside of the car also were not broken.

Scheduled a transport of a truck I bought out of state. Unfortunately the delivery vehicle itself needed a repair, so this delayed the delivery by a day. Throughout the process Michelle my agent was friendly and diligent. She followed up immediately to assist the transport. Received my truck without issue. The driver was nice and friendly. My only critique was that I did not receive notification when the truck was picked up or an ETA of arrival once the vehicle was picked up. At the end of the day a delay of one day is no big deal. Everyone was friendly, professional, and I received my truck without issue - so I'd say it was a success.

AmeriFreight Is a Complete Scam — Stay Far, Far Away. Let me save you time, money, and a massive headache: do not, under any circumstances, use AmeriFreight. This company is the definition of incompetence, indifference, and borderline fraud. I shipped two vehicles—one to Texas, the other to Los Angeles—and despite filling out every detail with obsessive accuracy, AmeriFreight managed to screw up both in spectacular fashion.

I called them to cancel my order then all of a sudden my broker started to text me back but I still decided to cancel. Samantha from Amerifreight texted me all the way through and answered any questions and when she wasn't available their care team would take over and also made sure if my car was picked up/delivered on time. The carrier that was dispatched to my vehicle was Nalbandian Transportation LLC and Diego was very responsive throughout the whole process. I have shipped cars before and have had brokers and carriers ignore my calls and text but Samantha and Diego were both very professional.

The customer service was helpful and prompt. The car carrier service was also good. The biggest drawback is that the final price ended up being double that of the original quote, which is very misleading. The pick up and drop off dates of the car were also late. Lastly, I asked for an open carrier but was only provided with an enclosed one.

We were originally shipping 2 vehicles in one order ** but they messed up and only assigned one to carrier. So we had to create another order ** for the second vehicle. Michelle ** took over, who was very responsive. But we had to pay a higher price. However, what was ridiculous was that, the two orders ended up got assigned to the same carrier, and got shipped on the same day. Then why they could not combine the order like it was supposed to be, and why shall we pay a much higher price for two separate orders and also double the insurance? The carrier itself was wonderful, delivered safe and sound with no issues with the vehicles.

They were always kind and helpful. The way it works is that they’d get quotes and then call me back with some. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee moved from Appleton Wisconsin to Minnesota. Although I informed AmeriFreight that I did not want the additional AFTA auto insurance, they charged me for it anyways. Once AmeriFreight has your money, they do whatever they want and won't lift a finger to help if things go wrong. I have numerous communications with them and they keep saying the charge will be credited to my account, it never happens. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filing complaints with the BBB and Attorney General's office.

We used AmeriFreight to transport our car from Florida to Illinois, and they did a good job. They were in communication with us the whole time, so we were happy with that. It wasn’t the cheapest but it’s okay.

I was moving from Oregon to Virginia and I needed my '17 Chevrolet moved. AmeriFreight seemed like the best option for the budget that we had. The driver made the pickup seamless, just loaded it up on the little wrecker truck and gave me an invoice and an estimated date and that was that. He was running a little bit behind that day, but was informative about where he was. I was still moving during the delivery, but somebody met him somewhere just because where it went was a rural area and it went smoothly. It was a solid experience. I don't really have anything to complain about.

Shipping my vehicle with AmeriFreight was great overall. However, I had no communication with the delivery guy for three days after they said they were gonna drop it off. They could have done better communicating what day they're gonna drop it off. Still, the delivery was good. I got my car, and I can’t complain.

At first, I thought I had the money for the transport, but it went up, so I couldn’t do it. When I was finally able to get the car since I got a loan from a family member, I called Christine to let her know.

The price ended up increasing 15% and I expected some variability but not that much. It was for my mother-in-law's vehicle in Florida, and I scheduled it all. The neighborhood was too small for the driver to pull his big rig in, so I had a neighbor drive the car to Walmart and meet him. It wasn't as convenient, but I understand. The driver had multiple deliveries, so it took a couple of days longer due to some weather issues, but he was great. I met him at a convenient truck stop and picked up the car there. The only challenge I had was the payment had to be given directly to the driver versus through AmeriFreight. I would’ve preferred it to be a single transaction. I call AmeriFreight, they schedule, the driver loads and unloads, and I pay through AmeriFreight. But I understand they're bidding it out to independent contractors. I have recommended AmeriFreight to a couple of people.

I transported my Fiat 500X from California to Texas with AmeriFreight about a month ago. The person I talked to, she was the sweetest person and was just so helpful that I was glad I picked them. Because when I talked to the other people with quotes, they weren't very nice. I was hoping for a lower price but that didn't happen. I would have been upset if it was a lot higher than what everybody else quoted me, but it wasn't. I started out at $900 and I ended up paying around $1,200. It was a good quote.

The pickup was fine but I didn’t like the drop-off part because the driver thought he didn’t fit in my subdivision. So I had to drive my car to go get it. But other than that, it was fine.

But the third-party customer service you guys use was not very helpful at all. They could offer me no good information about what was going on. There was a delay with the vehicle and they were just reiterating what was on the paperwork and didn't try to provide any updates or offer to look into things. So I ended up just waiting until I could speak with our main contact directly with AmeriFreight itself.

At first, they came in at 1,800, and then they reduced it by 100. But then we found out the carrier didn’t have the correct equipment when they showed up. Another carrier had the same issue. The third one had too many vehicles on the truck, half the vehicle was hanging off the thing. When the fourth time came around, I was able to then say, “Yeah, let’s raise the price up.” I think it was another 300 bucks, and that worked.

It's the 3rd time I've used AmeriFreight, and it's been uniformly positive every time. On time, price as promised, no damage to the vehicles. Very clear, both orally and in writing. On the delivery, in all three cases that I've used them, the street for delivery was too narrow, so what they do is they have me meet them at a shopping mall a couple of miles away. It's just a minor inconvenience, but that's the breaks of the game. You can't fit an 18-wheeler on a typical residential street.
