This is the second time we have used AmeriFreight. We transported our car from New Hampshire to Seattle. The price was fair and the car actually arrived a bit early. The Driver was responsive and professional. No problems with the car. It was dirty but we knew that was going to happen transporting it mid-winter and uncovered. They said they don't necessarily have the exact date that they would get here, but they gave a range depending if there were any issues. They communicated very effectively with us.

I worked with Carovan, and she was spectacular. I honestly was almost shocked at the level of personalized service I received. She Instilled confidence and made what could have been a super stressful part of my move as smooth and calm as possible, even after the original transporter cancelled last minute due to illness (no fault of Amerifreight). She found another transporter in hours, and it turned out great all around.

The rep was fantastic and the process flowed fairly smooth once I understood it. I didn't understand that AmeriFreight was a broker and would contract out with the drivers. Once I understood that, I understood how the process works, and it worked better for me. I was quoted about $1,200 and it ended up being $1,500, but it was still less than what I was expecting, so that was good. I was at work, starting a new job when the driver arrived, so my wife and son went to meet him. He was driving a big 18-wheeler style car transport and couldn't get back into a neighborhood to drop the truck off, so he conferred with me, and then by extension, my wife met him at a truck stop. I enjoyed the experience.

The pickup process was easy. We just met right at the mall near us. They came with a smaller truck to pick it up, then took it to where the big truck was and loaded it there. When they dropped it off, it was easy as well. The truck couldn't come into our place because it was too high, so he was already waiting for me with the car unloaded and ready to go. The car was in great shape. Typically dirty because coming from up North with a lot of weather. Nothing that a car wash didn't take care of. It’s exactly what she said it would be. It was right on. There was slight miscommunication on the fees and such as I only need to pay a small fee until the vehicle arrives and then pay the driver or I pay the driver everything and there's a larger fee. That wasn't clear enough. But overall, it was a great experience. AmeriFreight is a fantastic organization to have them ship vehicles.

I just bought a car in California for my son, and I needed to transport it to Kentucky. It looked like AmeriFreight had good reviews and seemed generally positive. So I just dived in. I found the transport organizer very comfortable. He’s easy to talk with and very responsive.

Victor was great, and Gina was fabulous. Pickup and delivery went perfectly. They brought it directly to us. I don’t really have anything to compare them to, but based on my experience, AmeriFreight did a great job.

I needed to transport a car from my Ohio home to my Florida home. I got online, read reviews, looked at pricing, and decided on AmeriFreight. Everything went really well. There was only one minor glitch. It wasn't a big deal. Every communication I got from the start of the process until the car pick-up was that the transport would take about four days, plus or minus. And so, I was in Ohio and I bought airline tickets based on my anticipated pick-up time and then the anticipated arrival time in Florida. So, when he picked up the car on Saturday morning, I told him I would be in Florida the next Monday. And he said he was driving down that day and he would be there Saturday night. And I said I can't be there to take care of the unloading of the car until Monday.

AmeriFreight was phenomenal. They were responsive. They called me back, followed up, and fully understood what needed to be moved. They found a shipper that met all my needs and followed up afterward to make sure everything was done and delivered properly.

I was moving from coast to coast and wanted to ship my car. I saw AmeriFreight online and got a quote. They were a little expensive compared to other companies, but their response made me go with them. There was a constraint for me with the date of pick-up and drop-off, and they were the only one who was able to do it. They were able to get me a carrier at the time they promised.

The service was great! They made sure to reach out regarding the offer made by the carrier within the week of delivery (which is what they promised), and the pick-up and delivery date was correct. The driver initially said 1:30/2 PM (Pick up in the state of Georgia), and was able to come by 2:45 PM for pick-up. For delivery date (to the city of Boston), the driver estimated the next day, at around 4 pm, and the driver was able to reach the destination by 6:10 PM. Each time, the driver was able to notify me updates of the ETA, which was very, very useful (this is on the driver, though, and not on AmeriFreight). The day before the pick-up date of the car, I had called the customer care team at AmeriFreight, worried, since I hadn't gotten a call from the carrier, and they were able to sort everything out for me promptly. The carrier reached out soon after I had called the care team, and I was able to coordinate everything with the driver then.

I would 10/10 recommend this company to anyone looking to ship a vehicle. Charity was really helpful, knowledgeable and provided complete transparency when telling me how the process works. The drivers communicated well and the shipment was prompt. Will definitely use them again if I ever need to ship a vehicle.

I spoke with Katie ** and got a carrier to successfully deliver my car from California to Illinois. I scheduled the pickup some months in advance, but she kept in touch leading up to the transfer date to reassure me that she was handling my account and would find me a carrier. The communication with the company has been excellent and very clear from the quote- which was very reasonable for a covered vehicle- to the delivery. The company called to ensure that we were informed of the arrival of the truck to verifying that the delivery took place. The driver was courteous and thorough in taking down information on the pick up address. Pictures were taken although it was nighttime. The driver kept us informed of his progress and delivered the car before we had anticipated. We were able to find a good location to deliver the car and it was in excellent condition. After delivery we had two separate call from the company to ask about our experience. We would highly recommend Amerifreight for car transport.

Updated on 02/02/2025: The company’s response is inaccurate and I need to address several issues. First, I was told AFTA was separate from Amerifreight only weeks ago. Stephen Coles was the only contact for my AFTA claim. He has an Amerifreight email address and signature. I was repeatedly told he was unavailable and would call back—he never did. Additionally, the AFTA portal’s contact number rings directly to Amerifreight, causing further confusion. Despite multiple attempts to get a resolution, I was told there was no one else to speak to.

I moved a vehicle about 1,200 miles, and I chose AmeriFreight based on research. And my experience with them has been great. Everything came out good. It was the way they said it was gonna be. The overall cost came out a little bit expensive, but you pay for good service. So, I got no complaints. 

We had a good experience with AmeriFreight. I chose to go with them after looking at the reviews online.
