I needed to ship a vehicle to my son in Arizona, and I did an online search, and AmeriFreight was one of the companies I inquired with, and they got back to me right away, walked me through the process, and I felt confident in their experience. It was a smaller, more intermediate company that was doing the pick-up, and then they were going to take it to the port to go on the bigger truck. The driver and I found a mutually agreeable pick-up place, which was easy for me, easy for him, and I transferred the vehicle to him through there. That process was acceptable and satisfactory. The driver was very businesslike. We met. He drove the vehicle up on the truck.

AmeriFreight's representative was very professional, very easy to communicate with, and responsive. In terms of the price, I had another family member who used a competing service, and theirs was much cheaper than mine. Even though we were coming almost from the same place, it was about $600 cheaper. They got their car shipped from New Jersey to Sacramento, and I got it from Connecticut to the Bay Area, the Fremont. My distance was a little more, but then still, I think it was considerably cheaper. Still, I'm okay because my car was delivered on time and safely. So, I'm not too upset about it. I would still recommend AmeriFreight.

My daughter's active duty military, and she was looking to have her vehicle transported from California to Washington, D.C. area. I looked at two to three dozen different companies before going with AmeriFreight. I started feeling more comfortable with the representative compared to all the representatives I was speaking to. Also, the company was coming up positively on Google reviews. It was a really scary process because of all the horror stories you hear. It came down to a gut decision and just really more comfortable with the way the representatives were more patient in explaining the whole process. I asked a lot of questions, and I was happy with the representatives I dealt with. I would use them again.

Samantha was a huge help! She kept in constant contact with me to make sure the delivery of my car was on time and reassured me of the process. I would highly recommend this service. She kept sending me updates every week up to the pick up date of my car. She also helped me compare prices.

AmeriFreight was great, but the vendor that they used to do the transport was horrible. It was pretty well documented with John, my case agent. He was sympathetic and understanding to some degree, but for the most part, I wouldn't use them again.

Setting up the transport was more difficult than I thought it would be because the location that the car was going to be shipped to was Boise, Idaho. It just seemed like there was no transport going to Boise, Idaho, and it was a little frustrating. I talked it through with my son, and we chose a location in Utah, then it seemed like it went quickly. For some reason, to go to Boise, Idaho, it was hard to get a route. It took at least a couple three weeks, but once we changed the location, it went relatively quickly.

The woman from AmeriFreight Auto Transport was very clear. I talked with her several times. She gave a good estimate. It was well organized. When the whole thing started, I would get notified as much as two weeks before. But because of the tariffs and the price of gasoline, it got down to the wire. We heard only 48 hours before when it would happen. But the woman was great. I called her several times. She was very patient. She said, "Just hang in there. It's gonna happen." Everything looks good and worked good. And the guy was good on pickup. He as very clear about where to meet. Dropped me a pin on the phone. He did a good job.

The quote ended up being more than the estimate, but the time of year changed by a few months and the estimate was stated it was an estimate. The driver they found was excellent, and made it in amazing time and was very easy to work with and safe.

I have used Amerifreight several times to ship my truck between Hawai’i and Oregon and every time they have gotten me set up with a fast, safe and reliable carrier. Harry ** has been my go to guy every time because he’s super responsive, patient and helpful. I will definitely use them again.

My husband and I liked that we were able to talk to a person, not a computer, and that you didn't have to go online to do everything. You can't always ask the questions you have in your head when you're online. But if it's with another person, you can ask. So, the customer service was superb and that's why we decided to go with AmeriFreight. Also, their pricing was more than fair.

AmeriFreight was fantastic. The reps were always upfront, and we were always communicated with. When they said they were going to be there, they were there. When they said the car would be where it was at a certain time, it was there. Overall, they were very impressive. We were originally going to have the vehicle transported to my son's house, which is not far from us. But he has a different type of street because he has trees in the middle of his street. So, it wasn’t a good idea. We just had it taken directly to my home that we purchased here because it was a regular street. It was much easier for a truck to come here and do what it had to do. The car was in perfect condition when it arrived.

AmeriFreight were able to broker the shipping of my trailered boat despite several missteps by carriers. Samantha at AmeriFreight was superior! She is trustworthy and persistent. We were purchasing a truck from a family member of a friend in Texas, and we live in Nevada. We hired AmeriFreight to do the transport and they were prompt to respond. We dealt with Samantha and she was great. She answered all our questions. If she couldn't answer, somebody else answered. She was doing her best to help me out, and kept me in the loop with what's going on, because she was really working hard to find somebody for us to help us out. But we ended up canceling it because the person we bought the car from decided to use her own transport company. We really should have just stuck to our guns and stuck with AmeriFreight, because it still hasn't arrived, and it's been six weeks.

AmeriFreight Auto Transport has helpful sales reps, and they have a good online tool, but the final price is not what you see online. The whole time span of me trying to ship this car, I learned that these companies keep changing their prices from what's advertised online. When I was on short notice, I just accepted the jump in price. But I don't like the fact that they keep saying online that, "Yes, this is going to be the final price," and you get on the phone and they tell you, "To be real, that's just advertised. Try and get ahold of drivers and then this is the price that they want." I had to just take it. Other than that, AmeriFreight was able to help me out in short notice and the price that was advertised was one of the more competitive prices. Also, the rep was very friendly and helped me out in a tight spot. She was proactive and helped me get a driver on short notice.

I only had one little inconvenience setting up the transport, and that was just the driver was over the gross weight of what he was allowed to come down my road. I decided to move forward with the carry that they found. After delivery, they followed up with an email or text, and just to make sure the car was delivered okay, without any issues. I live in Georgia, and I have a house up in Pennsylvania, and I had a car up there that I kept for 30 years, and it no longer worked. So, I needed a replacement. You can't have a vehicle in Pennsylvania registered into your name unless you live in the state. Down in Georgia, if your vehicle is 25 years and older, you can have a car without emissions. So, since I didn't have to do emissions on it anymore, I just had to pay the taxes on it yearly. I wanted to move that vehicle up there so we wouldn't have to pay for a rental car every time we were home.

AmeriFreight made me a really good offer in the beginning, and then gas prices went up, so they had to increase the price a bit. But they worked with me to try to get it somewhat back down again. They were on top of their game. They were absolutely amazing. They were calling me, making sure I was up to date on everything. And the shipping was fast. They said it was going to be three days, but the guy delivered in two. They did an incredible job all the way around.

I’ve been using Amerifreight for almost a year now. They always find me the best deals, and they also have their little return customer small discount that I really enjoy. My experience has been great. Everyone's always very helpful. I've never had an issue with at least anyone from AmeriFreight. Sometimes, it's hard to get in touch with carriers. Most of the time, the experience with the driver has never been a problem. There was only one instance that I lost touch with a carrier. He never answered me for two days. I was like, "Do I need to report my car stolen?" But he said, “No, sorry.” He said that he had a flat tire, and he had a lot of stuff out there that had happened. But, besides that, everyone else has been great.

My interactions with Amerifreight's customer service rep was great and the price I was given wasn't too low or too high. It was right in the middle. The driver was pleasant too. Anybody who can drive 2,000 miles in two days is great. He didn't say much, but I'm sure he was tired. He was very professional. He took the pictures, and everything went good. He came earlier and the vehicle was just like it was when I bought it.

I dealt with AmeriFreight about two times in the past, and this time, I had them transport a Mustang for about 1,900 miles. The customer service rep that got me set up was great. The driver was okay. He could have been a little better with the communication and a little bit more professional. The Mustang was supposed to be here on the 9th, and I got it on the 11th. They had apparent truck issues. Everything was fine on the outer part of the vehicle. I did have a TV inside, and that was broken. Other than that, he got the car here in one piece. Overall, AmeriFreight is very good with communication.

I liked AmeriFreight’s ratings and the comments about it, and when I decided to go with them, everything went off just as I was told. The vehicle was picked up just outside Huntington Beach, California, and dropped off in Gainesville, Virginia. We had between three and a half and five days for the transport, but it ended up being four and a half days, which was fine. The driver didn’t speak English, and we didn’t have much conversation, but he was a good person. He helped me after we got the truck unloaded. He had to move some things around but he was pleasant. The rescheduling didn't bother me because I wasn't in a big hurry. But it's just, are you going to trust they're not going to screw your car up? Do you trust that when they bring it, they'll give it to you and not try to upcharge you? Those are my two concerns. AmeriFreight did a good job on every level. So when they did give me the schedule, the guy showed up and took the cars and everything was fine. So I would use them again because I trust them now.

The first time, it was pouring rain, so the guy was really trying to do things quickly so that I wasn't standing in the rain. They do an inspection and take all the pictures of the car. We ask questions such as, "Are they the driver that's driving it, or are they gonna hand it off to someone?" Two of the three times, the guy said that he was doing the driving.
