My son was going to school so we need to ship a vehicle. After research, AmeriFreight just seemed to fit all the needs that I had so we went with them. The transport organizer and the carrier driver were very good. The entire process was seamless.

I contacted AmeriFreight - spoke with Graham. Told him I needed a car delivered from Texas to Maryland. He got on it immediately. He had a company pick the car up from Texas and it was delivered to Maryland earlier than expected, which was awesome! My experience with AmeriFreight and Graham was pleasant. I will definitely use them in the future when transporting a car from state to state.

We had trouble starting the car to load it on the truck. The drivers were very patient and helpful to get the car loaded. Also, only my wife was onsite for the drop-off. The driver at drop-off was very helpful and made it easy for her. Pickup date was on time, but difficult to contact company due to the pickup being on a weekend. Once we loaded the car, we got the driver's phone number and communications were very smooth from there. Delivery dates were always fluid, but we had the phone number of the driver so it was easier to at least keep notified of status.

I had a great experience with my AmeriFreight agent Ali **. She was extremely helpful and was available whenever I had a question about the delivery of my vehicles. There was a short period where I wasn't able to contact my driver so I called Ali. She was prompt and contacted me back saying that she had talked to the driver. The driver called me back within 5 minutes. I would definitely refer this car shipping service because it was recommended to me by a family member.

I was satisfied with my experience with AmeriFreight. I was not happy with the transport company they provided for me (FHT), but when issues arose AmeriFreight was very helpful in getting the issues resolved. I would use AmeriFreight again if I could use a different transport company.

AmeriFreight did absolutely great. They delivered early in the morning, no damage. They were ahead of schedule. We had a cross-country relocation and they were recommended by Angie's List so we decided to go with them. They gave me a quote right upfront and it was a very good one, given the timeframe, and I was very much appreciative of it. They picked up the car -- it was just exactly when they said they would. We didn't have to even be there when everything occurred. They delivered it just right on the schedule as they promised. I was very pleased.

I am very satisfied customer. My car was pickup on 1 day notice and delivered on 7th day. Driver called me before pickup and same driver delivered car in front of my home even though roads are small in Belmont, CA.

Ally at AmeriFreight made transporting my vehicles a very easy experience. Instead of dealing with a multitude of transport carriers on my own, I had one point of contact in Ally. She was competent, reliable and thorough in her communications.

I worked with Lecia at AmeriFreight to ship my car from DC to SoCal. She was friendly, courteous, and most of all responsive. The process was easy and rates were competitive. My car was picked up the first day of the pick up time window, and delivered a few days before the actual promised delivery date...cool! If shipping a car in the future, I would use AmeriFreight again!

Ali was very professional, and persistent in getting the job done. The car was picked up and delivered on time. I would use this service again. There was no damage, but the exterior needed to be cleaned.

AmeriFreight was one of the firsts to respond in my frantic email blast of trying to get a hold of someone last minute. I spoke with David and he was really great. I told him the price that I could pay and he did his best to get as close as possible to that. He was understanding and actually got me a carrier that same night, which was a huge relief to me. I was a little frantic at that time since I only had two days to plan and I was extremely worried about the price. Because I had originally chosen a carrier directly and had it booked 45 days in advance so I had a pretty good price and wasn't worried about the planning. Unfortunately, they had gone out of business about 3 weeks before I was supposed to move and I only found out about 3 days before. Anyway, the two guys at AmeriFreight (David and George) whom I spoke to were really great and really responsive. The only issue with AmeriFreight was them choosing the carrier.

AmeriFreight did a great job. We shipped a vehicle from San Diego to Northern California. They gave us a fair quote. The transport organizer was very courteous and always returned my calls. The carrier driver was also very courteous. He arrived on time during the delivery and the car arrived prior to the estimated arrival date. Everything went well. I'd use them again if needed.

We used AmeriFreight to move two cars and we were very satisfied with the service. In both instances the cars arrived on time and in great shape. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to transport vehicles.

I needed a vehicle to go from Tacoma to Indianapolis. AmeriFreight was recommended through eBay and just popped up in a couple of places when I was doing some research online for options. The free quote given to me was good. The transport organizer was really good. He was quick, and when I couldn't get a hold of the company that was actually doing the work, he was able to track them down. I didn't meet the driver. My sister did and she said it went okay. I didn't realize that AmeriFreight wasn't the company that was actually moving the vehicle, so that was a little confusing for me. I felt like I had essentially to work with two different companies to make it happen rather than one, so the communication with the company that was actually doing the work was kind of a pain, because they weren't really responsive. I didn't realize that AmeriFreight wasn't actually the company doing the work and I got confused.

They shipped my vehicle a few months ago. They gave me a deal and it was okay. If I would do it again in the future, I wouldn't go through a broker. I would definitely just go straight to the company that I used. I'm glad that I went through the broker for my first time, but I feel like I wouldn't really suggest that again. I was in contact with the driver. They picked it up in Pittsburgh on a Sunday, and I got it the following Thursday at like 9 o'clock at night. But I wasn't really in a rush so it didn't make that big of a deal. It was a pretty good delivery time.

The experience with AmeriFreight was good. I had purchased the car in the mid-west and was getting it shipped out to Oregon. I chose them because of the ease of dealing with them and also have noticed other reviews that other people have posted about AmeriFreight being good and easy to deal with versus other companies. I didn’t take delivery myself, it was my brother-in-law because I was out of town. But he said everything went very smoothly, and they got it all unloaded, and he met with my brother-in-law. It was very easy. The driver kept in contact with me and let me know because the time changes a bit for when he was going to be meeting. He called to make sure that I knew that it was a bit different time frame. It worked out perfect. This was the first time I ever shipped a car and it was amazing.

The pickup, transport and delivery of my vehicle could not have gone any smoother. To ship your vehicle from the East Coast to the West Coast can be a stressful exercise, but with Amerifreight and the carrier, I had open communication every step of the way. My SUV arrived in the same exact condition as when it left, and I had the security of knowing that I had done my research prior to choosing Amerifreight. I knew that I was dealing with a reputable company -- at a very competitive and reasonable price. If I ever need to make the move back to the East, I will without a doubt use Amerifreight again.

There wasn't much information available about the carrier (Finish line Transportation), probably because they are very small. I relied on the broker to pick a good carrier and everything worked out well.

My contact with AmeriFreight was Josh. Vehicle was received with no damage or wear. Took two days to arrange a truck to pick my car up. Driver met me at my apartment. Left on Monday. Vehicle was delivered on Wednesday afternoon. Very punctual and efficient.

The entire process of shipping my vehicle took two weeks, give or take, and it was a very good experience. Transport organizer was very straightforward and explained the process. It was my first time doing any kind of vehicle transport but he was very informative and very helpful. The carrier driver was a very nice guy. He contacted me, explained again, very informative and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

Got several quotes from several freight companies to ship my Jeep from the east coast to the west coast. Researched the ratings including the better business bureau. AmeriFreight had the best rating out of the group. So I went with Amerifreight based on their ratings and had no issues. They are excellent to work with. Picked up and delivered the Jeep on time as promised. I would use them again.

AmeriFreight seemed to be a reliable company and Ali was extremely helpful and gave good customer service. She called to check in with me on the scheduled pickup and delivery days, called the carrier when I had not heard from them and kept tabs on my shipment. However, the carrier they contracted with, Five Star Express, was late to pick up my car and even later to deliver it. They did not call me to tell me it wasn't being delivered on the day it was scheduled to come and were generally uncommunicative. They were also not apologetic about the delay. My car arrived without any damage, so I would probably use AmeriFreight again, but I would know not to expect the carrier to be on time.

My motorcycle was damaged during transport. Unfortunately, I did not notice it upon delivery as it was not in a prominent spot. It cost me $400 to repair. The dealership told me the tie down straps on the bike were too tight and the chassis and fender hit and put the dent in the fender.

The experience was fast and mostly painless. I say mostly because the first carrier to accept the pickup did not speak English and the communication barrier could not be breached. After several attempts to explain to their dispatcher and the driver, they stopped answering their phone. No fault of Amerifreight. The next day I explained all to Ali and she went above and beyond to get another driver sooner than I expected. I have nothing negative to say because even when the first driver botched the pickup, Ali quickly took care of the situation.

I was shipping a car which was a gift from my cousin. I chose to do it with AmeriFreight because they were one of the companies that had great reviews online. The quote they gave me was pretty pricey. They would quote me a little lower than what other people offer but they did tell me later on that the price may change and that's what I was expecting. But that was alright. I talked to the transport organizer over the phone. He's really attentive, lead me to all the steps that they do, and what they do, and how they got the quote. He also told me what I needed to do. I just have to pay, and then it's all set. It was really quick and very convenient. I really enjoyed the customer service. I have a little problem with my credit card, and he called me right back. He was definitely attentive and I was really enjoying their service.

I was shipping my vehicle from Northern Virginia to Tucson, Arizona and I'll say that I was really, really happy with the way AmeriFreight did it. They assigned an agent and unfortunately the agent went elsewhere. But the one they assigned subsequent to his departure did an even better job. The guy they contracted with was very flexible. He arranged to pick up my car right on time, and it was delivered on time with only one mile added since it left NJ. I am more than happy, satisfied, thrilled. The driver was in contact with me and the car was received in perfect condition.

She kept in touch and let me know who was going to be coming. Told us it was going to take 5-7 days, but the carrier driver actually got here in four. AmeriFreight contracted to have our vehicle transported from Westchester, NY to Sarasota, FL. Our representative, Graham was very attentive in letting us know what was going on with the progress of obtaining a carrier. Our vehicle was picked up and dropped off within the time parameters that were specified in the contract. Our only hitch in the whole process was with the contracted transport company, American Mausoleum. Their dispatcher, and contacts with their drivers was very inadequate. So we had some miscommunications with the drivers in their timing of the pickup and drop off. AmeriFreight was very supportive in attempting to smooth these difficulties out, and I doubt that they will use American Mausoleum again.

My wife and I were looking to ship her car from Detroit to Atlanta so her and I could drive down together in one car. Lecia was our representative the entire way through. She was very helpful and kept constant communication before, during and after. They found a driver willing to take our car. We knew we wouldn't be able to get down there in time to meet the driver so AmeriFreight let us store her car at their office (for small fee) for a few days til we could get there. The shipping costs was not bad based on other quotes I was getting and went very smoothly. Definitely happy with their service.

The carriers the company used were super....car looked beautiful when it got here. Everything happened exactly on schedule and Ali was continually checking up to make sure things were going on schedule.

I was moving for a job so I had to move my vehicle from California to Massachusetts. I looked up online for the highest rated ones and have good ratings from previous customers and that's how I found AmeriFreight. I took advantage of their free quote option and it was very good. There are certainly lower prices from what I've seen but I would rather have something of quality as well regardless of it, and make sure my car gets in the destination safely.

AmeriFreight did a fine job. They did what they said they were going to do. They were very thorough in explaining the process and what needed to be done, and were very straightforward with the pricing and how all that worked. There were no surprises. It all went smoothly. They do a very good job. The trucking firm that they use got the vehicle there as they were supposed to. My only complaint was communication with the trucking firm but that’s separate from AmeriFreight. They had us running around at the last minute. But overall, the experience was fine. It got there safe and sound, and no complaint.

I was quoted a reasonable price and within minutes of hanging up the phone a carrier was prepared to ship my car for the agreed upon price and they were able to pick it up during the window I was available. Lecia checked in to make sure the car was picked up on time and to make sure it was dropped off as well. She was also available if I had any other questions during transportation.

AmeriFreight was outstanding! Not only was I moving from San Diego, CA to Wilmington, NC so across the country one coast to the next but I had also purchased a brand new car. I heard horror stories about transporting cars and I must say this was not my experience. From the beginning dealing with Graham all the way to the end when my car was delivered, the process was professional and seamless. Price was reasonable and all services pick-up/delivery were timely as promised. I have already begun recommending this company to friends and would use them again without hesitation!

I have a lot of clients who need their vehicles shipped. I have lots of different cars going in lots of different places. Before we went with Amerifreight we had another company who really, really, really screwed up. So it was time to go back to the drawing board and find a new company. I went to the Better Business Bureau site and I made some calls. After reviewing AmeriFreight's liability policies and the extra gap insurance that they offer, and the way they sort of go about scheduling things and keeping you informed, and they only use the top 5 percent of shippers, everything's very guaranteed, we decided to go with them. They've been working out great for us. The guy that I used to schedule all my shipments with was fantastic. He did everything for me but he left the company recently. So it remains to be seen how the new guys gonna do cause I don't have much experience with them yet.

We had moved from South Dakota to DC and we had three cars, and our house in DC could not accommodate three cars. So we needed to ship our third car from South Dakota to Florida to my mom's house. We're a military family and my husband has a lot of cars. And we've used AmeriFreight before for a shipment and had a good experience with them then, so I decided to use them again. I also read reviews and it appears that a lot of military moves uses AmeriFreight.

It came back being a little more to ship when they contracted it. It's about $180 more than what they quoted it at. But it was pretty easy and fairly close. I looked at a few others and even got a few other quotes, but went with them. I called the organizer, told him I want to go ahead and do it, gave him my credit card info. He explained how it worked and he said he'd call me when he had a carrier.

I bought a car in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and I needed it shipped to where I live in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Before I picked AmeriFreight, I originally picked another company but I read the reviews and there were some issues with them, and so I went and did another search for best auto transport. AmeriFreight was like number three but I liked the name and it said that they did a lot of work with the military, and I was retired military, and so I decided to give them a call. They were on my short list, the reviews were very good, and the call was reassuring so I went with them.

They offered a free quote and I got a couple of other quotes as well and it was about what I expected. They contacted me and took the worry off of me.

I search online for someone to deliver a car from my cousin's home in Arizona to my home in New Orleans. There were several listed but I chose AmeriFreight because after checking them out, I went with my gut!! From the "office" personnel I spoke with on the phone to the truck driver that delivered my car to the corner of my home, I could not have been more pleased with my choice. My experience with AmeriFreight was positive. The only thing was their original quote was 200 lower than the actual amount that I ended up paying. But they were clear to me that I could have kept waiting to see if they could find another person willing to take the car. But I didn't want to wait because that was gonna cost plenty once I got to Texas where I was moving. It was my first time shipping my car so I don't have anything to compare it to. But it was better than the other quotes I was getting and I did end up paying a little bit less than I would have paid somewhere else.
