I needed my car to be shipped back to Atlanta where I live. I called several transport companies but then AmeriFreight's representative, Harry, was very friendly. I trusted his conversation with me. He called me back when he said he would and gave me information he said he would give. He did it in a timely fashion. He quoted me a price and he explained to me why that price was a bit higher. He made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Harry. He drew me to work with AmeriFreight.

We talked with other companies a little bit for a move but AmeriFreight was one of the first choices that came up and we were satisfied with what we were getting there. But I didn’t hear back from George for about a week and a half so I started calling out other people before he reached out to me. Other than that, he did well once we found a driver. He kept in touch, called and made sure that we got everything that we needed. He was great to deal with. It was just that lag time when we were sitting in the dark. But even if he didn’t have any drivers available at that time, a quick phone call every couple of days to let me know that he was still looking would have been a little better. We also had some issues trying to get the payment through so we had to get other cards and the carrier driver was being really impatient. But he had other cars to drop off and he was on a time schedule too so that I understood. Nonetheless, I was really happy with the entire experience.

My daughter had used AmeriFreight before to move her vehicle. We tried them and they had a good price, so we went with them. The transport of our vehicle was very well-organized. The transport organizers were very helpful and the interactions that we had with them were good. They called me several times to tell me what was happening. They said that the driver was going to call me an hour before he came and the driver actually did that. Our experience with AmeriFreight was good and they did a good job.

The reason why I picked AmeriFreight was the less quote, compared to the others. The initial quote that they gave was less and there was no pickup per week. But then, she asked me to increase it a bit. So it was increased by $100 - $200 and then it got picked up. But the people I worked with kept informing me about what had happened and kept asking me about the state of it and that was amazing. I appreciate that. Also, the guy who picked up my vehicle was amazing as well. I also got my car by the time I reached here. And that was quick.

I liked AmeriFreight's ratings on the net and the discussions I had with the provider. The quote they gave me was higher than the other companies but the reason that it was higher was because my son wanted to get his car out at a certain date and by the time he’d made the decision, they had to expedite it. So, he had to pay more and it was not AmeriFreight’s own fault. Their transport organizer and driver were very good. I would recommend AmeriFreight if somebody asked me who a carrier would be for a car.

My son had gone down to Florida to participate in a living situation program down there and had gotten a job and needed to have his transportation which is a scooter. I looked at several transport companies and the initial quote of AmeriFreight was less than what other people's were. And so, I went with that but it didn’t end up being less than other people’s actual cost. The initial quote was 400 and some, but I ended up paying 800. But I was very happy with the person that transported my scooter. They had it down there in four days.

They gave me a pretty expensive quote and the shipment cost me $1500. Still, I was satisfied with their service.

They gave out the very low bid and then just sat on it until we felt the time pressure and then decided to go with the premium option. But she got the job done. I needed enough information to know where the driver was at and what was happening and the pick up arrangement on that, but other than that, we didn't chat that much. He was busy driving. But everything was on time.

They said they were going to call me back in the morning and I'm spending that money and I actually get the call in the morning. It was transparent with what they were saying. Lecia was my transport organizer and she was very helpful. She gave me the number of the driver and told me what to anticipate and expect when I get to New Jersey and in Tampa. Also, the driver was a pleasant person. He told me he would give me a call the day before he arrives in my city and he did. Then, he gave me two hours in advance the day after on the location.

We live in Denver and we purchased a classic car which was in California so we needed to have it shipped to us because we don’t wanna drive a classic car that far. We had a small time crunch because Jeffrey, my fiancé works out of state and we were trying to get it there by the time he got back home. The person that I worked with out of the Florida office was great and really helpful. She stayed in contact with me and got the car picked up the same day we contacted her. It was really nice and we had a driver that was available right away. She also made sure that everything was delivered on time. I appreciate that she took care of us because I didn’t talk to the driver much which was fine. I just wanna make sure that they knew everything was in order and the car was in great condition. We didn’t have any trouble when we got it. It took about three days which we expected because it was California.

AmeriFreight has a good rating on the website. They have professional and good people as well. The guy who I talked to was polite and the driver was fine. They delivered my car in four days which was shorter than the expected time frame.

I went online and was looking at the ratings, and it looked like AmeriFreight was a good place to start. George was very helpful. He stayed calm in dealing with me as I was so anxious and I had to get everything scheduled because I was also having my furniture scheduled. But he handled me very well. He kept saying I had to wait a little closer to the time that I was wanting to ship because the shippers would jump on it and be right on time, and he was right. The only problem I had was the carrier had a hard time finding the location where to drop off. I was moving to a little town in Texas, and his GPS would not work when he got around this area. My brother had to go find him and bring him here. But he was a very sweet and nice man. My car was shipped on the weekend, so it was a little more expensive. But the car is very valuable to me, so it was worth it.

I was moving from Portland, Oregon to Illinois and AmeriFreight seemed to be reliable based on the reviews. The quote I got from them was good and was quite competitive because I did not get the quote from anyone. And when it was all set and done, they kept the same quote. The transport organizer was professional and did a great job. However, when I was calling the driver, he was not picking up. AmeriFreight said that even the driver was not able to contact me, which was unusual because every now and then, he was able to contact me. Other that, AmeriFreight was perfect. They collected the car on the fourth, and delivered on the 7th. Overall, everything was done within 10 days.

It was just what they presented me with. Also, the transport took a little longer because he had some brake issues, but they communicated with us. And I would still tell others that their service was reasonable service, but they just have to have some reasonable flexibility in their price.

And they worked out fine. So, I went with them. Plus, they called me back a lot compared to other companies who didn't call me back at all. Their transport organizer was fine. It took them three days to find the guy that had the route and then it took them about a week to get from Texas to here. So, all in all, it took 10 days. Overall, my experience with AmeriFreight was fine. They got me the car, they did it when they said they were gonna and they charged me what they said they were gonna charge.

It was the first time that I did something like this and I would definitely recommend AmeriFreight.

It took a week to get one but he told me that they were still looking and that they would call me when they find somebody. Then when he called and said they got a shipper, it all happened in one afternoon. He called and said that I could do it right then or I could wait to get cheaper. But I wanted it right then so I ended up paying $200 more. He told me how long it would take and the price and then he did it in like an hour. He was great.

The quote was fair for the time frame. The transport organizer was very professional with what was talked about on the phone. He did everything he could to give me the best possible deal. Getting the vehicle there or up to that point wasn’t an issue. But there were some issues with when exactly they would be available to drop off the vehicle and that was kind of in a time crunch for my parents who were picking up the vehicle. We didn’t exactly know when they would be in town. They called back a couple of times or I had to call them a couple of times and find out when exactly they were going to be in the area. That part of it, I think, wasn’t really all that great. Other than that, everything was handled very well.

AmeriFreight had a good rating online and they were willing to go mid-range in cost to ship a vehicle from Washington State, which made it clear that it was not in a big-time brand but it seemed to be a good place to start. But after two weeks, it became apparent that the transport wasn't going to work at the lower amount of money and it turned out that the ultimate quote was higher, but that was to be expected.

I didn’t realize picking the middle option was going to be automatically x number of dollars more expensive. She clarified that and then I said I had to wind up and do another online contract with her to stay with the econo. And everything seemed reasonable. She helped me save $400 by redoing the contract. And she was very polite as well.

But there was a delay for the drop off. The driver took him a while for us to make out. He said he was spending most of the day waiting on other people. It’s not really his fault.

They explained to me that they would post this job for a bidding to the shippers that they use and that price may fluctuate a little bit, but they gave me a range on what they thought it was going to. The quote was good because the other company, recommended by my moving company, were a couple of $100 higher and the feedback online wasn't as great.

It was worry-free and I was getting nervous with all kinds of horror stories out there. So, once I found AmeriFreight and talked to them, I felt really good about it. I saw their professional website, how well and professional they were. And my mind was set at ease.

I bought a vehicle in Utah from GovPlanet. I contacted AmeriFreight and they gave me the best service, the best price, and the best time. Jorge, my contact with the company, gave me the best service. They gave us transportation from Utah to Bullock, New Jersey. They were very efficient because they told me that, "Friday, we will pick up your truck,” and they picked up my truck on time. The organizer talked to me and kept me updated on the status of shipping. The whole transport took about four days and they updated me about every five hours. It was a very good experience.

When I was sending the vehicle up to my daughter in Alaska, I did not realize that AmeriFreight was a brokerage firm. They're only setting stuff up and not the actual driving company that’s delivering the vehicle and really has the most contact with the vehicle and that's hard. I picked them thinking I was dealing with a specific trucking company but I still had a fine experience so all turned out good. I only used AmeriFreight to have the vehicle tractor-trailered up to Washington from Arizona to get on a barge. It arrived on time in the Washington destination and then I dealt directly with the barge company from Washington to Alaska. The original quote was a little over a $1000 and I paid a little over $1200 so that was a bit disappointing for me but I had a friendly experience and besides the pricing, everything else happened as they said it would.

The vehicle does not run and it was in a large storage bin in Maine and I am in Florida. AmeriFreight arranged for VJ Trucking to transport my car and VJ Trucking did a very good job of it. I made arrangements with the storage facility to hand over the key so that the storage bin could be unlocked. VJ Trucking was told the car does not run and it will have to be dragged out of the storage unit and placed on the truck and that was done.

I’m from New Jersey and I moved out to California about a year ago. I was debating whether I was to ship the car or just sell it and get a new car. I decided to ship it and I got some quote. I talked to AmeriFreight and they gave me a good price and timeframe so I went with them. The organizer gave me a follow-up call a couple of days after I requested the quote and asked if I had any questions. They explained the process to me exactly how it worked in terms of getting a carrier, the payment method, insurance and everything related to it. I was told my car would be picked up within 1-5 days, (which is why I placed the order with them). It had been 6 days now, not including weekends, so I called back to find out the status, and was first told that they can't find my order, and then told that they couldn't find a truck for me yet. I got no update about this and I was lied to about the pickup time and manipulated into choosing them. I definitely do not recommend this company.

AmeriFreight's price was a bit higher than everyone else but they were the only ones I could find with more decent reviews. I used them to ship a car to a family and I had good interaction with their representative who responded quickly. During the delivery, it was nice that the driver texted me since it was easier to communicate. The only complain I have is that the pick-up time wasn't flexible and they don't work around my schedule. I basically have to give them the car when the driver is ready. Other than that, the process was easy and took a week from start to finish. I'd recommend them.

I needed a vehicle shipped from New Jersey to Florida and AmeriFreight gave me an initial bid that was better than others. However, it ended but being almost double that. The organizer who responded gave me a quote of $835. When he gave me that first quote, he said he'd call me back. He then left the company so no one called me back. About ten days later, the second person I talked to said that nobody is ever going to deliver my car for that price. It cost me $1,250 instead. However, the carrier did a good job. All in all, it took three weeks. I'm not satisfied and I would not recommend AmeriFreight.

I was shipping my 1960 Bentley and I found AmeriFreight on the internet. They gave me a quote and my mechanic who ships cars around said that it was a pretty good quote so I took it. They contracted out the job and the truck driver simply drove the car on the trailer without checking his clearance. The roof of the car was damaged, but it's easily repairable. I'm satisfied with how AmeriFreight is handling the situation and they've been very nice about it.

She said, "I'll be there", but she made me wait for two days. And even then, she did not give a clear update. She called to let me know that her truck has broken down. The carrier driver was fine. The only problem that I had with him was that he was supposed to have called me an hour before he had gotten into Portland so that I could be at home to collect the car. But he didn't actually call me until he got there. I had to make an arrangement but he was good enough to wait. The whole process was done within 48 hours. He picked the car up on a Wednesday and he was in Portland by Friday morning.

My experience with AmeriFreight hasn't been good. I've had three experiences with them. Two of them have been good. The third one is a problem. I have an order now that has been delayed by two days for shipping a car. There was supposed to be a pick-up on Monday. The hauler was coming from Massachusetts and because of the storm in the Northeast, the contacts for the shipper, which was Kwik Trans called me, and told me that they couldn't make it on Monday even though they have agreed to pick up on that day.

So, when we relocated from California to Florida, I decided to stick with them. The quote I was given was fair and we paid pretty close to it. The transport organizer, Jorge, was great. He was very organized and really good at responding. The driver was good because he was there when he was supposed to be there and he was really patient. However, the Skyline dispatch gave us the wrong location. We were located close to two different public supermarkets and they said they were delivering my car to the one closer to me. When they texted me the address, I was assuming that it was the one that's closer and I went there, but the driver showed up at the one that's further out. I was talking to him back and forth and I realized I was at a totally different location. It caused miscommunication as they were supposed to map it out.

AmeriFreight's free quote seemed like it was fair but because we waited an extra week to book, it ended up being more expensive by a couple hundred dollars. Still, everything went well. My mom spoke on the phone with the transport organizer and she really liked him. The information that he gave her was helpful and that was one of the reasons why we went with them. When I spoke to him, he was pretty clear about everything which I appreciated. He was very responsive to my text messages or phone calls when I needed to talk to him and explain the situation. He was very flexible and understanding. Then he called to follow up once the car had gotten delivered just to make sure everything was good. They did a great job. My vehicle was in perfect condition and it got here within the time frame.

They quoted what I paid the driver and not the overall cost so, I spent $300 more than the initial quote. In addition, they said that all pick-ups and drop-offs would be done in the daylight, but both my pickup and my drop-off were done at night. The pick-up was 7:00 at night which wasn't too bad but the drop off was around midnight.

It took a bit of shuffling as far as being able to make arrangements in order to have stuff dropped off. Still, the truck was in good order from the time that we sent it off to the time that we received it. Also, their driver responded well to text and picked up the phone when I called. While I ended up paying $300 more than what I was quoted initially, transporting my vehicle through AmeriFreight was a good experience overall.

But they wanted a different date so we talked with them and their schedule was open so we arranged for the date that worked best for me. He told me he was going to get back with me on a particular day. And when I didn't hear back from him, I called and he gave me an update. It was very informative so I am very happy with the service. The quote was an average price. It wasn't the lowest nor the highest. But this is the one I was getting personal service with. The final cost was a little bit higher than what they initially quoted and that was pretty much expected. Either accept the driver's offer or not. It was still reasonable though.

AmeriFreight did a good job and the representative was very friendly. He did what he said he would do and he got me a good carrier. Although it would have been nice if it was closer on the estimate.

However, we were promised that it would get here at a certain time and the driver was actually in New Jersey for two days but didn't deliver.
