We were moving and my husband's in the military, so I needed to ship my vehicle. But I had a really bad experience with a different company that didn't get anything done for me. So when I saw that Amerifreight's reviews on ConsumerAffairs were fantastic, I called them and within two days, we got a company to ship my car. It was awesome. Lesha was fantastic. She was very informative and helped me with any questions I had. I was very happy with AmeriFreight.

AmeriFreight was very responsive when I had to get my vehicle from San Diego to New York. Their quote wasn't the best but I was in a bind and had to do it last-minute and it came through. The transport organizer called and emailed a few times. I filled out the form and she put in a bid. She helped me in the whole process and it was nice. It worked out once I had completed the stuff. I can't believe how smoothly it went with the actual transportation company. They picked it up and it was great.

I was getting ready to move out of State and sending a vehicle. When I went online, I selected several companies to receive a quote and I got an online quote and a call back from AmeriFreight that was very low, initially. The rep said that it was just an initial rate and no one would have ever taken it for that. With the more real one, it was $560 and I ended up paying $980. I'm a little pissed about that.

When the car I bought in Ohio was to be shipped to Utah, AmeriFreight helped me and figured everything out for me. Their carrier driver was professional and the car was in a great condition when I got it. Also the agent that I worked with has done a really good job.

When I was moving, AmeriFreight had the cheapest rates so I used them. Their transport organizer was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver was a little late but only because the car that they had to take up before was running late. So, it wasn't his fault. He was able to keep me updated where he was at and gave me a time for a new pick up. It was fantastic.

AmeriFreight supposedly was rated very high with good reviews but the quote was too expensive. Ashley told me it was going be about $700 then she said she'd have to find a transporter. I waited over a week, nothing. She continued looking for a transporter then later on she told me she found one, but it was going to cost more money. I needed that vehicle for my wife to be here in Miami so I paid more. Then, the carrier driver was not a friendly guy at all. He hardly speaks any English but thank God I speak his language. He didn't give me that window that I asked him for. I was very disenchanted and I wouldn't ever use that company again.

I was moving, so I went on the internet and did a little bit of research. Called a few people up but I picked Amerifreight. Had a very pleasant experience with them. Their carrier driver was very thorough and very good. My car came in good condition and the whole thing went smoothly.

We had a good experience with AmeriFreight. Their transport organizer were knowledgeable and friendly, the trucking company that they got was excellent, and the carrier driver was great. They were good and accommodating, but their price was a little higher than I expected. I think because it starts off at a certain value. They sent out a bid to find someone in the area and they came back with one that was really too high. When I said no, they said "Fine." Then they came back a few days later with another one bid that's lower. They closed up at $750. They did a good job and the car went down there right away. There was no time wasted.

I was shipping my car from Salt Lake City to Maryland and AmeriFreight was a reference from somebody else that had used them. It was somewhat frustrating experience because it has a very different way of doing business that I'm not used to where you don't get much information. I just give them a bunch of money and trust them that they're gonna do what they say they do. The timing is very imprecise, on the pick up and the delivery, but that's understandable. They could've done a little bit better job of describing it. What happened was my car beat me here. I was still in Salt Lake when my car was here and they said that I have to pick it up. It was a little bit nerve-racking because they said they were going tow my car away if somebody didn't pick it up. But they did a beautiful job of getting my car here and the truck driver was great.

I live in Mississippi and I just moved to Washington State during Christmas and New Year. If I went on a road trip, I would have missed Christmas and all the holidays. So, I opted to have my vehicle shipped. Since I used Amerifreight back in 2014 when I shipped the car from Washington State to Washington D.C., I went ahead and used them again. Ali, the transport organizer was always on top things, checked in every week even if it took a little while to get the carrier signed up. I would recommend them to a friend.

AmeriFreight had good online reviews but the price was a little higher than expected. They told me initially depending on the availability that could happen but it's only a few more dollars. I submitted my request then they contacted me via phone that I needed to submit a formal request on their system. They explained all the different options for insurance, and they'd be placing my order on the tracker and that as soon as they get something they will call me back.

I enjoyed my experience with Amerifreight, with one exception. I did not know that they only provided one ramp per move. I had two trailers. And so, I thought I would get two ramps, one for each trailer. They said the ramp comes with the trailer. I only got one trailer at a time when I loaded the lawn mower and I need two ramps load a Zero Turn lawn mower. When I talked to them about having it both come out the same time, so that I would have both ramps to unload it, they said no. So I had this big, monstrous lawnmower on there with no way to get it off. They said, "Oh well, it's a liability issue. We don't want you to put lawnmowers on there." And I told them, "It's already on there. I got to get it off somehow."

I have had many cars transported over the past 10 years. The experience that I had with AmeriFreight was, by far, the best so far! Graham ** at AmeriFreight was efficient, knowledgeable and customer focused.

I was in the military, PCS, and unfortunately, the military doesn't cover shipping a vehicle CONUS so I had to do it out-of-pocket. AmeriFreight has good reviews and also price-wise they're good. They were very helpful and understanding to my timeline and needs. They worked with me and let me know if there was any change or updates, as far as what the plan was to ship our car. Overall, it was a very good and smooth experience, and put the stress off of me during the move.

I just wanted to say how pleased it was using your services and the professionalism that was put on display. I called late afternoon on Thursday for a vehicle transport. Was put in contact with Benjamin **. He was able to take care of my interests and told me he will start first thing in the morning. Lunch time the next day he had a driver lined up and car was picked up by 3:30 that afternoon. I had the car in my hands 47 hrs later on that Sunday. This template of service seems to be dying in all segments yet, it is great to see some actually doing what they offer. Thanks again for everything.

I bought a vehicle out of state and I needed to ship it. AmeriFreight was a prior customer's recommendation. I started with an online quote and right away they gave me a good quote and an order number that I could reference. It had a guy's name and a phone number on it. He was really easily accessible, answered emails promptly, and answered his phone when I called. If he didn't answer the phone, he did get right back to me. It was very good. He was very helpful and explained the whole process, insurance, how they did and how they quote. From the initial quote to the delivery of the car, it took a week. They were fair, reliable, and it was an excellent overall experience.

I began working with one person and from what it sounded like, he got fired. Then somebody else took over. And so, there was a little bit of a lack of communication on Amerifreight's part. I had to call them and check in a little more than I would have. It wasn't proactive on their end but it got resolved.

I saw many good feedback online about AmeriFreight so I decided to go for them. At the very beginning I was given a quote of $800 and that was really cheap. But, I found out late that was just the initial quote and they still had to find a carrier and it might go over that. I ended up paying about $1,400 which is a lot more but I had no choice because at the end I had to do it anyway. The whole process went very well. I just gave my address for the pick up location and the delivery location. They showed up exactly on time with the exact kind of carrier and everything was done properly.

It's a car and you have to be careful but the quote was a little higher than others. But, the process only took two days from calling them, having the free quote option and them coming. Everything was excellent and they are also very nice and courteous so I will recommend them. Although they told me I am going to have a gift in exchange for a review but I got nothing.

I checked AmeriFreight out and asked them for a quote estimate, and initially, the sum they quoted was less, $1800, and I said that I was okay with that. However, on the second day, AmeriFreight called and told me that they had contacted the transport company and now had the exact quote of $2000. They asked me if I was okay with that, and I agreed as I was in a hurry. They gave us the Bulldog Trucking Company.

I had a quote from another company I have previously used which is a couple of hundred dollars lower but I needed to get my car shipped and it was a very time sensitive thing, so I moved forward with Amerifreight even though they were priced a little on the high five. I liked the fact that they were honest and followed through with what they said. Chris, the guy I spoke to, was really nice. Overall it was a really good experience.

I liked that AmeriFreight was military friendly and the customer service reps were good, but some of my wife's tools that were in the trunk went missing when the vehicle arrived.

I did a search online and AmeriFreight had a lot of good reviews. There were two cars that we shipped. One was my boyfriend's, and when it got to its location, it started having some issues that required repair that we think resulted from the trip. There's really no way to know what happened so I never reported it. But the service itself and the people I dealt with were really great and pleasant.

AmeriFreight's price that we were quoted was a bit better so we got them when we moved. However, it didn’t end up being that way. They quoted us six something, with the understanding that it would potentially go up from $50 to $100, but I wasn’t expecting it to go up to $200. I just wished they quoted us a little higher so that we would’ve been able to prepare for it a little bit better. Also, we were told that our vehicle will be picked up on a Wednesday, but their driver ended up picking it up on Friday and it took about a week to get it out here. Then the phone number that we were given was for the company and not for the driver that we should be directly in touch with. So we kept calling the number but their rep apologized and got us the driver’s number.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I've never done it before but they were on time, car was in great shape, price was good and they walked me through the whole process.

My mom was the one who received the car in California and she said that he was very polite. Their service was great and the process took a total of five days. Overall, AmeriFreight is reliable.

My son had moved to New Mexico where he needed a car and my mother-in-law signed one over to him so we had to get it there. My wife arranged with AmeriFreight at the beginning and we were happy with the price. I got phone calls from the transport organizer telling us what was available and sent email right away so our interaction was all quite well done. The driver called ahead when he was coming to get the car, told the timeframe that he would arrive, and answered back if we sent a text. He moved the car and got it to New Mexico a little bit earlier than they had said. It was a very satisfactory experience and very convenient for my son. It was also fun and interesting to see the actual putting of the car on to the machine.

I reached out to their transport organizer several times and he was very responsive and honest. He told me what would or would not happen even if it was bad news. He couldn't guarantee me that they could pick up the next day. My movers were leaving and I needed to leave as well. Then, within an hour he called back and said they found somebody who'll be there in an hour so I had to rush home. Their network is fantastic.

I used AmeriFreight to relocate my vehicle and it all went off exactly as they described. But the driver showed up for pickup three hours later and the delivery was late at night. Also, their quote doesn't correspond to what it actually cost which came in $500 more. It was a little more expensive than I had expected. But for the most part, the shipping came off without a hitch. It was a simple, clean and easy process.

AmeriFreight's webpage was easier to navigate so I used them to move my truck to Florida. They picked it up the day before Thanksgiving so I imagined that slowed the transport down a little bit because they probably didn't leave until after Thanksgiving. But the transport organizer did what he was supposed to do and did a good job on it. I'd recommend him. The truck was delivered clean, and didn't have any nicks or scratches or anything. It's pretty decent for the cross country move. I have referred AmeriFreight to some other people and I'd use them again.

I've used other transport companies who a lot of times are not available. AmeriFreight was available and they were able to make the delivery happen. They also had good reviews. The organizer was Alicia and she was great. She had found one pick up time with one person and I couldn't do it, so she was able to get the next one that was available to me. Then I had to change my location, but she still made that work out fine. She's also available whenever I called. Since I needed the delivery to not be on Wednesday, the car was picked up on a Tuesday and it got here on Thursday so it was exactly what I wanted. It was picked up in Manhattan and the carrier was there at the hour he told he would be there. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. They're reliable and have good customer service.

My daughter had a Toyota 4Runner out in L.A., and I wanted the vehicle back here in St. Louis where I live. So, I went online and got AmeriFreight. Their pickup and delivery time were very good. However, when the driver picked up the car, he told us a different date for when the car was going to be delivered to St. Louis. Nevertheless, it all went very well and their rep has been a big help. She's been very good about returning phone calls and getting a hold of the freight company. A lot of people don't do that, but I was very satisfied with her. On the pick up day, they called my daughter and told her that pick up would be in the afternoon and my daughter said everything went fine. So far, everything worked out well and I would recommend them if somebody wants their car shipped.

I purchased a van from a fellow franchisee going out of business and needed it shipped from College Station, Texas to Kingman, Arizona. My son, who lives in Iowa, shipped back the car we had loaned him to Kingman when he moved to Las Vegas. Everything went flawless with it, so I got AmeriFreight's number from him. The quote was $666. I did not know at the time if it would matter or not 'cause they allow a hundred pounds and mine was gonna be at least two or three hundred pounds so they just adjusted the price. I still find the $1,000 was worth it to get it here. We were expecting them on a Friday but they gave me a call and said they'd be here Saturday morning about 9:00. The driver called an hour and 40 minutes prior to getting here and arrived about 9:10 so I would consider that really on time. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

My son’s grandfather gave him a car as an early graduation present. He lives up in Maryland and we live in Florida. It’s an older car so we decided we were not going to put a whole bunch of miles on it and shipped it down instead. AmeriFreight was referred by a friend that used them. She had her car shipped without a hitch and she really liked the work that they did so I got them too. AmeriFreight put out their quotes for bids and they tried to get as close to it as possible. But they were upfront about that from the get go. I had to be patient and it came within $75 of what they first quoted. Basically, they said that it all depends on whoever takes the contract. Their driver was nice and very pleasant. Overall, their rep was really good with keeping in contact with me and keeping me up to date. She did great.

This is more a review of ConsumerAffairs than of AmeriFreight. I just finished speaking with AmeriFreight. They are an auto transport BROKER, not an auto transporter. Big difference for me. Less direct relationship with drivers, etc. Just wanted to make other consumers aware.

I was living in Florida and was offered a position in Pennsylvania. I made a quick, little bit of research on the internet and Amerifreight has good reviews so I used them. The transport organizers were friendly, professional, and helpful, and it was the same thing with the driver. The whole process wasn't any longer than I would have wanted.

Lecia was very helpful in arranging to transport my daughter's Jeep from our home in North Carolina to her new home in Washington state. The original quote was lower than the actual quote but it was over the Christmas vacation and was still in line with other movers. The driver was unable to get his truck to where it needed to be delivered so he drove (with our permission) to meet daughter's boyfriend and took an Uber back to his truck. At his own expense. Would definitely use their services again.

I made my initial call to AmeriFreight the week before Christmas to arrange the transfer of my car. Ali ** quoted me a fair price, and warned me that due to the Christmas holiday and the delivery location (Idaho), it might take until after the New Year before she found a driver to pick up my car. She was right - the car was picked up right after the New Year. But in the interim, she called me on a couple of occasions just to let me know that the order was still pending and that she was still confident that the car would be picked up shortly. I appreciated the updates.

I needed to ship my vehicle that I bought from North Carolina to Washington. The best quote AmeriFreight gave me was $1,150 but I ended up paying $1500. When we got the bid from the mover, I was in a position where I didn't have any other choice. I needed to get the vehicle moved, granted it was winter time and it was an acceptable amount, but I thought it was a little higher than what it should have been. If someone would have come in and said they wanted $2,000, then I wouldn’t have done it. I would have told them to keep looking. But I needed to get that vehicle here and so I ended up paying a little more than I thought I would.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. I was trying to ship a car from VA to OR and had to cancel my order with this company because a carrier was not booked within the 7 business day window. I was very disappointed with the lack of communication from these agents. I kept calling during the 7 day window to check in and asked that they call me with updates. I understand that it was a difficult time to ship over the holidays and with winter weather conditions but I would have at least liked a call from them to know they were working on it. I received no communication and zero confidence from them that they could find a carrier.

They said that they had it listed for a couple of weeks and nobody was biting so if I wanted any success, they would have to increase the price. The interactions with the carrier driver were poor. He called and said they were ready to deliver my vehicle and I said okay since they had the address. Then he called back and said, "Oh yeah, remember it's cash on delivery." When their transport organizer first scheduled the shipping, it sounded like it was going to be great. He said he would give me a call in a day or two and then almost a week later, I had to call him to ask him what was going on. It was a little bit frustrating. They should be a little more proactive with contacting their customers. If they say they’re going to call them, they should do that. Nevertheless, their driver was awesome. He either answered the phone or called us back every time we called him and he was very responsive. He came even though it was snowing so he was great.

We are brokers and we're purchasing vehicles to export to friends. I had three quotes from Amerifreight and I only used one. At the end, the price turned out to be $50 or $75 higher than what I was expecting. Other than that, they offer a great service. They're personalized and they take care of you.

The organizer called, told me how the process worked, set it up for me, and the quote I received was very accurate. When the transaction was completed, the organizer contacted me via email.

We needed shipping for business and I felt more secure with AmeriFreight. Their quote was all right however, they didn’t explain it properly to make me understand what I was going to pay. It was a little higher from what I understood. I asked questions but my questions didn’t make me totally understand it. They have great price and it was an excellent experience. It was all very reliably and professionally handled.

I moved out to Los Angeles and I needed my car. I went with AmeriFreight because the quote they gave me was significantly cheaper than everybody. Their carriers were nice. However, they said the quote was gonna be $730 but I ended up paying $840. It wasn't the closest but it was still a good price in comparison to other places. But I wish it was the $730.

The rep was also wonderful. She was sick and was not at work but she still found the time to call me to make sure that whoever she had left our account with was on the ball and helping us out.

AmeriFreight's rep was very helpful but the Phoenix Freight that picked up the car was not truthful with their date and time, and their time frame was off. They're not direct with their communication and they ended up bringing the wrong car to my son. He was so upset having waited all day. It's so difficult when somebody is working and he was so distressed about that. Nonetheless, their rep was very nice in trying to help out and communicated with us in a nice manner.

I've only used a car transport twice, this was my second time. When I used it 12 years ago, they had a definite specific time we were going to pick it up and a specific time they were going to drop it off. Nowadays, you go through a broker and they broker it out to different truck drivers. So I told them that I've got an airplane to catch and I need to have my car picked up. They couldn't tell when will it be picked up until someone said: "Sure, I'll pick that one up for you." That was frustrating but that's typical of all broker transport companies, they put it out for bid. They put it out really low but then you end up paying quite a bit more.

There were no mistakes on his part and he made how the whole thing worked pretty clearly so it was a really smooth transaction. Then once we met the truck driver, he was awesome as well and it was super smooth getting the car picked up. We did it in about 10 minutes. The whole thing was just flawless pretty much. I was very pleased that the vehicle was picked up by the carrier driver in Colorado on the day that I needed it to be picked up, and delivered it exactly the way he picked it up albeit two or three days later because they had complications along the route in Texas. The carrier driver from AmeriFreight got the job done and got my vehicle delivered. He wasn't entirely sure what I owed him until he looked at the receipts. He thought I was giving $50 whenever I handed him cash, but it was not a big deal. The one thing that itched me the wrong way was I had an estimated delivery date of October 2nd. He called me at the end of September saying that he would leave at 9:00 at night and that he'd be here in an hour. After that, he claimed that he was three days behind because of my vehicle. That didn't make any sense to me considering that the estimated delivery date was two days after he was already there. I don't know if he was trying to get a pity-party out of me for him and try to get more money out of me, but either way he got what I owed him and everything went pretty well.

AmeriFreight was prompt and delivered my truck on time. But later on, I had found a whole bunch of scratches that were on the roof of my truck. I had to take it to a car painter so it was an out-of-pocket expense for me to get the roof of my truck repainted. I was too mad about them. They've called me a couple of times because they wanted me to put a good review in but I didn't return their call.

I purchased a vehicle and needed to get it from Georgia to California. I had known a guy from Atlanta that works for AmeriFreight and he helped me. I had never known the process before and didn’t want to get taken advantage of. He explained things quickly and thoroughly for me so I understood him and felt comfortable with dealing with somebody that I knew would be in my corner if I had to have somebody help me out. However, there was a defect in the vehicle and if I take possession of the damaged vehicle right now, I don’t know if I’m going to have responsibility for the damages or they're going to have responsibility because there’s no third party witness to document anything. So, I was trying to be assertive with their driver and helped him understand how I felt and let him know that I was concerned for my financial well being with the transaction.

We've never shipped before. We spent a lot of time reading online reviews and chose AmeriFreight because of their reviews. The transport organizer, Ali, was fabulous. She worked very closely with us. We tried to ship our cars to the exact town where we lived. But we were too far out in the boonies and nobody would pick up the cars to come that far. So we had our cars listed for almost three weeks with AmeriFreight and Ali worked diligently in trying to get carriers to come to our location. That didn't work so we made arrangements to ship to the nearest local city and had a carrier within an hour. But Ali kept in touch with us constantly so that worked out very well. I'd definitely recommend AmeriFreight. They were fabulous.

My experience with AmeriFreight was all right. Everything went off as planned and without a hitch. However, they told me one price when I was looking and then when I wanted specific dates, the price went up. But I paid for what I got.

I was moving to the West Coast, and AmeriFreight had the best reviews on the Internet. Initially, we were going to have a truck and two cars shipped out. Because of some other issues that came up, we only ended up shipping a truck and a car. I had given AmeriFreight a week's notice on having to cancel out one of the cars but I still ended up having to fully forfeit the cost of a third of the vehicles, and it's like my commission fee which was disappointing. I understand that's what's in the agreement but I was still hoping there was going to be some level being that I had already shipped two cars with them. Still, they said it couldn't be done. Nonetheless, the cars all came with no damage on them, so that was good news. My shipping experience was very good.

AmeriFreight had high reviews and I also spoke to Graham and he was really very professional. He told me what needs to be done. He sent the information. I filled up the forms and he was very precise and clear and he didn’t try to sell me. He just gave me the choice to make my decision.

They sent me an e-mail and told me what to expect and what was gonna happen. Then laid it all out, nice and clear. It was easy. The driver called me a day ahead of time. And then the day of delivery, he called me again. He arrived about when he said he would. The truck was in great shape when it was delivered. I'd use them again.

I was shipping a food truck up from Florida to Connecticut where I live. I went with AmeriFreight partially for the price and partially for what appeared to be very good reviews from Angie’s List. The quote they gave me was fine and was 70% accurate in the end. It was within reason. The transport organizer was terrific and was on top of it. She was in constant contact, returned phone calls promptly, and gave excellent service. It was more of a disaster with the carrier driver. He would not drive the truck onto his truck so someone else had to drive that truck up onto his truck. The carrier called me about 20 minutes before he was delivering, which was extremely inconvenient because I could have been anywhere in the state of Connecticut. But fortunately, I was home and was able to meet him within that half hour. The 20 minutes’ notice was unacceptable.

It was easy dealing with AmeriFreight from start to finish. My transport organizer told me how things will work out and what to expect. He was really helpful. They didn't leave me in the dark. My car got picked up on a Friday and it was delivered on Tuesday. The day of pickup, I don't think the carrier driver's first language was English. I talked to him and he didn't seem too customer-friendly. AmeriFreight is great but the different carriers they chose spoke broken English making it tough to communicate with them. I contacted my guy that I talked with and I told him about them. He took care of it right away and I got a call back. I ended up paying like $300 more than what he told me I would pay but he told me upfront that it might happen. AmeriFreight did everything they could. The guy gave me a discount because I'm a veteran and they waived some type of fee.

I’m moving out of New Jersey. I gave AmeriFreight a phone call and got a fair and comparable quote. The transport organizer was great and my interaction with the carrier driver was very easygoing and straightforward. The whole process was smooth and took about 9 days. They shipped my car good.

He had problems finding a parking place here so things had to change at the last minute, but he kept me informed. From the time the vehicle was picked up, it took 10 days to have it delivered which was fine. In fact, it was a day early. I would recommend them.
