The customer service was great and Jeff answered all my questions quickly and efficiently! Also, my car was taken care of, shipped on time, and arrived on time and in great shape. Over all this is a great company to use that cares about their customers.

AmeriFreight was recommended by a friend from Detroit who has used AmeriFreight on numerous occasions to ship her cars to and from Arizona to Florida and to Detroit. Our customer service contact was Ali. Ali is a consummate professional. AmeriFreight called with a quote, discussed different shipping options, and detailed delivery and pick up times as they related to cost. Ali was prompt and courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I was impressed with her exceptional customer service. The pick was on time as promised with a phone call an hour before pickup to say that driver was on his way. The same happened in Arizona when the car was dropped off. The driver was extremely polite and very careful with our car. I would highly recommend AmeriFreight to ship your car anywhere in North America. I will use AmeriFrieght to shipping my prized classic cars to Arizona! Ali take a bow for a job well done.

I was a little worried about transporting my car from Ohio to California but Lecia was really reassuring and always was available for my calls. She called the day after the carrier picked up and the day after delivery to check that everything went smoothly, and it did. Pick up and delivery were also on time.

Although the delivering service brokered by AmeriFreight was not a five star, Ali's care and concern was up to task. She checked in with me through each step of the process and followed up in a timely manner.

AmeriFreight was quick and responsive, and they set up a shipping carrier within minutes of my authorization of a deposit. AmeriFreight responded to my questions promptly. I was unhappy with the carrier that was assigned to me as the driver did not want to pick up or drop off at my specified locations, which made it especially difficult to coordinate as I could not be there for the pick up. Also, for the drop off, I was in a dark parking lot across town with $1K cash waiting for my car to arrive, only to be told he couldn't make it to that lot and could I meet him on the side of the road 1/2 mile away. Stressful.

It was my first time having a vehicle transported and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The car was picked up 2 days after I scheduled the transport. I highly recommend this company and would do business with them again.

Amerifreight is a very reliable company. I had my son's car shipped to Cheyenne, Wyoming from Stratford,CT. My wife and I spoke to Lecia. She had patience when we asked lots of questions. Lecia answered both of our questions expeditiously. Manuel was the delivery guy and we couldn't have asked for a better guy!!! He delivered our car ahead of schedule. Don't know how he did it and don't care. He is THE MAN!!! He kept us informed throughout the delivery. He even called the day before the car was delivered. Lecia and Manuel were just so incredibly nice and helpful. We absolutely recommend AmeriFreight and would use them again.

First time delivery my car to another states, from Chicago to Los Angeles only took 4 days, and really good experience with Josh and the truck driver! I've never shipped a car across the country... In all honesty I had a great deal of anxiety surrounding my decision to ship the car instead of driving it. It’s a classic BMW and has great sentimental value, so naturally I was fretting about shipping it. I did some research online, read reviews and finally decided on using AmeriFreight. I emailed Ali (presumably Allison), she responded within the hour and even called due to the time line I put forth. Ali was amazing, she got me on the board right away, was honest, communicated everything in full, walked me through the process and was very, very professional. Once I was placed with a transporter, the driver called and set up pick up, he showed up on time and kept me updated on delivery ETA. The driver was a great guy, super professional, took very good care of my vehicle. Thus I'm apt to recommend them to anyone who has future plans to ship/transport a vehicle across the country.

The contact I spoke with on the phone was very helpful in arranging the move and it was scheduled rather quickly. My car arrived without damage and the retrieval was smooth. I didn't have concern that my car wasn't in good hands. My biggest criticism was difficulty with communication on arranging the receipt of my vehicle. This was complicated by a large snowstorm that the truck had to drive through; however better communication could have made it easier to plan our day.

We first went to the internet to solicit bids for the transport of our cars. In response, we received a large number of bids from both carriers and brokers. We received e-mail and telephone responses that provided us with a bewildering number of bids, promises regarding our pick-up and delivery criteria and warnings of disreputable practices and firms. We were overwhelmed.

We had a car shipped to our son in Seattle from Indiana and it arrived where it needed to be. We were satisfied with the result. If you want a perfect experience you have absolute control over, drive the car yourself. There are too many moving parts to this type of endeavor for things not to go wrong. The car arrived where it needed to be roughly when it needed to be there and communication with AmeriFreight and the shipping company was adequate. I would use AmeriFreight again.

Lecia was very nice to deal with. The cost ended being a bit more than anticipated. The driver who brought the car was great. Even though he was a few hours late and I no longer had someone to take me to the meeting point, he drove the car to my house and I drove him back to the truck so it worked out great. All in all, it went well.

Drop off 12/13/14. Received cars on the promised date and no damage. The carrier person was also really good and professional, real friendly guy (Shipping Experts, Sacramento). I was happy and relieved when I saw my motorcycle delivered to our new destination in California having left New York. Amerifreight's equipment for hauling was in good shape and their drivers were very conscious of securing and treating the equipment properly and carefully. I would use them again.

Communication with transport carrier was excellent during the whole car transfer process. Car was picked up from desired location in Oregon and was delivered near my address in Florida ahead of the estimated delivery schedule. I spent quite a bit of time researching transport companies. I was getting worried after reading so many horror stories. I then googled "top auto transport companies" and there were a few websites listing their top 100's. I noticed that one company might be #1 on one list and #40 on another. AmeriFreight, however, was the only company consistently in the top 5. I decided to hire them and was assigned to Ali**. Ali obtained me as a client at a time when my work schedule was ridiculous and I could not be by my phone much. There were several issues that arose (all my fault) and she immediately contacted me and made me aware of the issues at hand.

I have to say that I have never had to deal with an auto transport company before, but when I checked out AmeriFreight and talked to Lecia, she made things as easy as it gets. I had just purchased my wife's dream car on-line from a dealership in Ohio and had to figure a way to get it to Mississippi so I googled the best auto transport info and AmeriFreight came up as a number one site so I called and the rest was history. Lecia took care of everything and I had no worries. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to move their vehicles.

After some horrible experiences with other brokers, I was extremely happy to work with Ali **. She was extremely honest, knowledgeable and understanding. It was my first experience with shipping a car and she turned a negative experience into something positive.

Ali was very personable and professional. She provided realistic expectations and service. While Amerifreight provided great service, the actual transporter kept changing both the pickup and delivery times, and kept people on both ends waiting around to hear from him. This was a learning experience for me since it was my first time transporting, and I would utilize Ali more to facilitate the timing.

Ali, my agent, was very accessible throughout the process (email and direct phone line) which helped ease the stress of shipping my car long-distance. She is extremely courteous, and she knows her business! Ali explained things thoroughly, provided helpful suggestions, and she communicated very effectively...before, during, and after the shipment. Josh was always friendly and available. I know he worked hard for us. We shipped two vehicles. On the first vehicle there were no issues and everything went smoothly. Our contact Josh had trouble finding a shipper for the mini-van. I asked him on at least two occasions if we should raise the price, he assured me the price was fair. I know he worked hard trying to find a shipper to Phoenix, but it didn't work out. We had to rent a vehicle from Phoenix to CA. By the time he found a shipper for us to CA, the shipper wanted a pretty big increase in price and at that point we were desperate and agreed to the huge price increase. I wish we had gone with a slightly higher price from the get go, so we weren't in desperation mode at the end of it all.

I needed to ship my non-running 1974 Jeep CJ5 from Nebraska to Ohio. After contacting several shippers I chose AmeriFreight primarily due to their lower prices and the professional customer service I received from Josh. Although I went with their 15 day shipping window (lower rates), he hooked me up with a driver within a week. The driver (Mike) was great, arrived on time, and not only delivered my jeep but took the time to roll it right into the garage. Will definitely use them again!

Amerifreight went out of their way to find me a trucker to ship my vehicle. The customer service was excellent as they kept in touch with me regularly. It cost quite a bit more than originally quoted but that has more to do with the trucker's charges. The car was delivered incredibly fast with an easy pick up location.

I had called and requested a quote from AmeriFreight 2 weeks before my move to transport my brand new Rav4 from Sacramento to Los Angeles. Ali handled my auto-transport. She was friendly, prompt, fast, and got everything done as stated in the quote. Best of all, she had my car delivered within 2 days of my request. After some research, I felt that the car transport business seemed fraught with problems. I was very apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews on the various companies, but had to go ahead and give it a try. I went with Amerifreight and was quite satisfied. Allie was my rep and was quite professional, competent and pleasant. They did everything they said they would do, and they did it quickly. The driver even made a special effort and drove my son's car directly to him, since the Chicago neighborhood where he lives would have been very tight. He didn't have to do that at all.

Had my car moved from LA to a small town in Pennsylvania without problems. Then needed to move another car from that rural location to Northern California. I understood that there are not that many carriers between these two out of the way places and therefore changed the destination to Los Angeles. Ali from Amerifreight stayed on top of the transaction the whole time and made it happen smoothly. Highly recommended.

The service worked very smoothly, they were able to get someone to pickup my car before we had to move and the car was delivered on time by the vendor. Overall very happy with the service. For total transparency, this review is not completely "voluntary", although I very much liked the service from my representative. I was asked to provide feedback at least 4 times and I don't think it would have stopped until I did this. Because of that I may actually think twice about using this service in the future.

I needed to get a vehicle moved for a friend of mine. I called AmeriFreight and they were extremely able to accommodate my situation. The vehicle did not run and was not in my vicinity. Once they understood my requirements, they were able to find a carrier service and had me linked up with the driver within 24 hours. The whole process went off without a hitch. AmeriFreight treated me very well and were constantly in contact ensuring my satisfaction every step of the way. The actual price I paid for shipping was within $50 of the quoted price. First time shipping vehicle. Agent I worked with was very difficult to get in touch with, at times it took all day or even the next day to get a phone call back. Very frustrating when in a time crunch and they have yet to find a driver for your vehicle. Agent was impatient and patronizing at times due to my lack of knowledge on the shipping process. In the end, my car was received without issue. The driver was wonderful and was the only aspect of this transaction that was pleasant.

I wasn't really after finding the cheapest option, but the most reliable service, which they did provide. The companies with low ball offers will give you a really low quotation to begin with, but will keep adding on other charges along the way. The transport organizer was friendly and on top of every single step. He and the truck driver were both proactive and very good. Everything was perfect. It turned our great and the way it probably should. They are topnotch and know how to get the job done.

I had to move a big classic truck that was in semi-working condition and Ali ** at Amerifreight went above and beyond the call of duty to get it moved. This was a great experience for my first time shipping a vehicle. I would recommend this company. Customer service was great. The pick up was early and I received the car the following day. There was no issues when the car arrived and no problems with payment.

The vehicle was delivered as promised without any damage at all. The driver was experienced and very courteous. I rated 4 stars because the initial pickup driver would not take the pick-up for reasons never determined. This resulted in an additional several days delay until the second pickup date was set. The price was fine. My broker was supportive and responsive.

Amerifreight and the carrier they contracted for me FT1 did a great job. They were on time, kept me informed throughout the process, and were all very professional and shipped my car from Va to CO in 3 days during December.

This was my first time ever having to transport a vehicle anywhere and let me tell you that AmeriFreight is topnotch, from the customer service that I received from Lecia in the beginning, very diligent and professional, to the updates regarding my vehicle, to the driver delivering it to its final destination in Nebraska for my son at college. Coming from Hawaii on a barge already makes for a stressful and scary situation but AmeriFreight really took care of my vehicle like it was their own and DID it for cheaper than some of the other quotes that I got, and got it there 2 days before promised!!!! I had a VW Vanagon Westfalia shipped from Chicago to California and the booking agent was very nice and informative. The details: It took a month to find a closed carrier, the booking fee was $250, and the carrier wouldn't pick it up for any less than $1,900. I was originally quoted $1,500, so I thought overall this experience became pretty expensive. On a positive note my vehicle did arrive one day early on the ship date and in good condition. So there's my experience.

My experience with AmeriFreight was pretty good. I had actually used them before when I moved to California, initially they had the cheapest rate. And this time, it’s because I used them before and I trusted them. I was moving back in with my parents. I had moved to California, lost my job and had to move back to New Jersey. The quote that they gave me for this move was a little higher than the last time but 4 years have passed so it was kind of expected. The transport organizer called me up and said, “Okay, when does this have to be in New Jersey by?” We organized it. At a point, she called me back saying the truck it was gonna be on had broken down but she had found another truck to put it on. They had to be shifted by one day which I was totally okay with. My dad picked it up on the delivery day. It was a good experience overall - about what I expected. It was very smooth and professional.

She told us that the process of finding a carrier could take up to 15 days, but she found one in less than an HOUR. We were impressed and couldn't have imagined that this would be so smooth. Our son's Ford arrived in Virginia as it left California .. on time as promised and over the Thanksgiving Holiday. I am writing to report a service that was well done! I needed to transport a car from MA to GA. My representative, Lecia **, of AmeriFreight transportation, handled all of the arrangements and made sure that the pickup was on time, the communication channels remained open and the delivery was made when promised. The trucking company Fauzini transportation did a great job and made the pick and delivery as promised. The car was in great shape.

The car was shipped from Chicago to California. It was delivered on time and I was always aware of the status of the transportation. It was all good except it was very dirty. I had to go to car wash before start using it regularly.

The process for myself was a bit muddled. This was the first time I had my vehicles transported, so I had many questions. First off, you get a quote for your vehicles that will cover the cost of the transportation. You supply a window of when you would like your vehicles picked up and wait for the company to place your vehicles. This process will take a bit because availability of transports come available as you get closer to your date(s). What is not told to you is that you may have to pay more than the cost you were quoted. Why? To get a carrier to take your vehicles at the posted rate. If the rate is too low, a carrier will not take them. The rate is then increased until it is accepted by a carrier. I ended up having to pay an additional $250 per vehicle for a total of $500. This was a shock to me because I didn't read everything. Read everything. I paid $1600 cash (carrier only takes cash/cashiers check) and $500 to Amerifreight for placing my vehicles. Positive note: The vehicles were delivered free of damage and that was the most important thing. A bit dirty but free of damage. Summary: read read read, read everything.

It's really an awesome experience, from the day I handed over the keys and got it delivered (Door-to-Door), they shown impeccable professionalism. Tracking application that was shared with me, made me feel at ease, added to this the customer service displayed was sincerely appreciated.

I shipped a car from Connecticut to Texas in order that my son in the military would have some transportation. The experience was a good one. It did take about 3 weeks to get a carrier to take it but once we did, they picked it up as promised, delivered in 6 days and all went smoothly. The charge for it was $1500 which was what was quoted.

I never shipped a car before. Used Amerifreight mostly because they had a A+ rating from the BBB. What they do is to hook you up with the first available truck. I like the fact they continually kept me informed of what was happening. The first truck had problems but Amerifreight quickly went to work and set up another truck. Paul from Black Mustang trucking arrived on time at my house, we loaded up my 1988 Mustang conv. and off it went. It arrived next day in MA no problems. I would recommend Amerifreight readily, Graham and George were very capable and made it an easy job.

Explained how the process worked. Was clear about what to expect with the charges. I followed up with Graham daily to see if a carrier had been found. He called me when one was found and was thorough in describing that carrier's ratings, etc. The carrier picked the car up when they said they would and delivered the car EARLIER than expected. I did not have to take it early - but I was thrilled that I was able to. This was a great service. I would use AmeriFrieght again and would ask to work with Graham.

I was shipping two cars out to the west coast and AmeriFreight seemed to have a good reputation. I got several quotes and the quote they gave me was competitive. I had a couple telephone calls - discussions on questions - and it all went fine. I talked with the carrier driver when he picked up the cars. It took him half hour to 45 minutes to inspect the cars. It all worked out fine and I would consider using them again. It was a good overall experience.

Doing it for the first time makes you hesitant but they did a good job of keeping me at ease and in the loop as far as where we were in the process of getting the car shipped. My experience with Amerifeight was good. They were efficient and clear in their communication and showed up exactly when the delivery was expected. There was some damage done to the vehicle during the shipping. It was raining and getting dark and I didn't notice until the next morning when they were long gone. I should have been more clear in my inspection before I let them leave. Unless I'm able to see it, there's really no other way to document it. They gave me a sheet showing the areas that they thought were previously damaged, but this area looked like the whole front part was scraped and a big piece was driven through. The only way that could have happened was because of the straps to hold the vehicle secure. I gave it a quick look and they backed it off the flatbed. I asked my daughter about the damage because it was her car, and she said she's never had any incident there. It wouldn't have been something she would have done easily and must have been through the shipping process. I didn't call them and because it was days later and with no paperwork with me, I couldn't have justified whether they did it or not. I was disappointed and obviously the company didn't have the chance to make it right.

After reading online reviews about Amerifreight, I decided to use this company. Amerifreight connects customers with actual independent transport carriers. I spoke with Graham November 4th, and gave a pick up date of November 7th. I was told his system was down, but he took my information. I told him there was no particular date we needed the car, and did not want additional insurance. I felt a bit rushed through the process. I was told the $250 reservation fee goes toward the total shipment price, and that charge went through immediately.

My son was going to have a car out in Colorado where he goes to college. I just did some research online and AmeriFreight seemed to have high ratings. The free quote they gave us was competitive. There was one gentleman that I spoke to initially. Then he left the company, and transferred me to another contact person who was pretty thorough. They gave me an estimated price, but it was more money after that because that's how the business works. They try to get someone to take the job but they only are giving this out to people that they feel are good quality transporters. It was a little different than what I was expecting. The car didn't get there as quickly as I had hoped, but it was fine. It took a couple of months. They were easy to talk to and the woman that was my associate was helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. It was a satisfactory and I would probably use them again.

Although they are a broker company, the coordinator Lecia told me that they would pick up driver with good records and reviews. Lecia was very helpful and followed the whole process. The initial price they proposed was very competitive, even though I have to increase some more later to find a good driver. It took 5 days for transportation. I am very satisfied with the time and the driver. The driver is very nice and reliable. Except dusty, the car was in good conditions. Nothing was wrong. Even though I do not have much more experience with long-distance transportation companies, I would like to recommend Amerifreight.

I had a great experience with AmeriFreight. I called to set up my transport over a month in advance and they called several times in between to check in and update me on the status. They also called to check to make sure the transport company picked up and dropped off my car, which I appreciated. I did considerable research online and decided to contract with AmeriFreight to arrange to move my Porsche Boxster from Detroit, MI to Palm Springs, CA. I submitted a request for quote online, and Lecia contacted me very promptly. When I was ready to initiate the move, she was able to confirm transportation conforming to my timeline within a day or so. The vehicle was picked up one day prior to my preferred date (but within the window agreed to) and on the second day of the delivery window. As a consequence of awful snowy weather in the midwest, the car was dirty when it was delivered, but it cleaned up fine with no damage.

When I asked for quotes via the web I was inundated with responses. I did my due diligence on all of the brokers. Each and everyone had their pluses and minuses so it was a difficult task to select the right broker as I was fed the same "spiel" and in most cases "**" from everyone. I remained skeptical and feared the worst no matter who I chose. My main concern was being jerked around about the total and final costs. Arranged pickup a few weeks before our military PCS move. We were a little worried because our agent said we might not know exactly when the truck will arrive. During the next few weeks I called occasionally in order to find out if the status of the arrival date had been. However the agent still did not know. As the weeks wound down to days before our move was scheduled, we finally got an email and a phone call with contact information on the company contracted to move our car. Once that has arranged, we were a little worried about pickup locations as we lived in a small townhouse neighborhood. Yet, the Driver was very friendly and able to fit the car carrier easily on our road. For the delivery process, we were a little worried because the delivery was set two days before we were set to arrive at our new duty station. However the driver was very kind and knowledgeable of the area and was able to deliver our car in a very safe area, effectively patrolled by the police department. Once we arrived we easily located our car. Overall there was no damage to the car and everything worked out well.

SDM Transport was contracted to pick up and deliver my car to Arizona. They were on time and delivered the car early. There was no damage to the car. I would use AmeriFreight and SDM again.

Truck was picked up early in South Carolina. The driver and his assistant were personable, polite, and efficient. The driver helped to start the old pickup truck by pouring some gas in the carburetor. My truck was delivered to me in central Texas in three days. The overall price was $1150.

I recently had my Honda Fit transported from Tampa to Washington. My customer service representative, Ali, very quickly organized a pick up. I initially called on Friday. Ali informed me it may take a few days to find a carrier willing to drive from Tampa to Seattle, but I got a call Saturday morning that my car could be picked up within 2 hours! I was thrilled. The price was a tad over the estimate ($150 over), but the overall price was still lower than other competitors. I received my car in six days, despite the country being hit by a snowstorm! Everything was good with the shipment I did with with AmeriFreight about three months. The carrier they used that they sub-contracted was phenomenal. The only hiccup I had was when they decided to pick up the vehicle. There was something else prior to my vehicle and they got hung up. After two days we increased the listing to $1050 and got a bid. Pickup and delivery were right on time, with no damage to the car. I highly recommend Graham and AmeriFreight. AFta Plan insurance was an additional $95.

At the beginning it was a little bit confusing for me and it wasn't the best because it was the first time I had shipped a personal item like this cross-country. I didn't know what was going on, and I didn't think the representative for AmeriFreight was all that helpful at first but in the near end, dealing with them was fantastic and the delivery went very smoothly. I opted to add insurance for $95 for one of my vehicles but in the end did not need it. The shipping company was very responsible and had their own insurance for loading/unloading. Shipping car really is going through transport auction (like eBay). Most of the transport company does not have any transport vehicles at all, they are just broker. The real transporter is someone else with the big trucks. It really does not matter as long as your car can get there. However, you should be prepare to pay more than what you had been quoted for from $0 to $400+ more. Especially you are in a hurry.

My mom moved to my sister's house in Texas. She has health issues and my sister would be able to take of her. We were originally going to drive the car to Texas and packed the trunk. This became hard because of work, so I got three quotes from three shipping companies. I explained that the car was packed with my mom's clothes. The other carriers were telling me that this is a very big problem and no one will ship packed cars. Then they said I would have to pay huge fee (almost double) to ship a packed car. AmeriFreight seemed to be a reliable company and Ali ** was extremely helpful and gave good customer service. She called to check in with me on the scheduled pickup and delivery days, called the carrier when I had not heard from them and kept tabs on my shipment. However, the carrier they contracted with, Five Star Express, was late to pick up my car and even later to deliver it. They did not call me to tell me it wasn't being delivered on the day it was scheduled to come and were generally uncommunicative. They were also not apologetic about the delay. My car arrived without any damage, so I would probably use AmeriFreight again but I would know not to expect the carrier to be on time.

He had a company pick the car up from Texas and it was delivered to Maryland earlier than expected, which was awesome! My experience with AmeriFreight and Graham was pleasant. We had trouble starting the car to load it on the truck. The drivers were very patient and helpful to get the car loaded. Also, only my wife was onsite for the drop-off. The driver at drop-off was very helpful and made it easy for her. Pickup date was on time, but difficult to contact company due to the pickup being on a weekend. Once we loaded the car, we got the driver's phone number and communications were very smooth from there. Delivery dates were always fluid, but we had the phone number of the driver so it was easier to at least keep notified of status.

I am very satisfied customer. My car was pickup on 1 day notice and delivered on 7th day. Driver called me before pickup and same driver delivered car in front of my home even though roads are small in Belmont, CA.
