I contacted two transport providers when I was moving and AmeriFreight was the first one to respond. They gave me a fair quote. My transport organizer was knowledgeable and answered all my questions very quickly. The carrier driver was kind and patient. The car was delivered after six days which was faster than expected.

I bought a car from a dealer in Houston, Texas and I have it shipped to California. I shipped with other companies before but I was open to try somebody new, so I checked BBB and ConsumerAffairs and AmeriFreight had good ratings. I got their free quote and I expected it to be low but I wasn't surprised when the actual quote came in after AmeriFreight looked for shippers and it was a little bit higher. The transport organizer Rick was great, very informative, and patient. I was very pleased.

My father used AmeriFreight before and everything went perfectly for him. He was very happy. So when I needed to ship my vehicle from Seattle to Dallas at the end of the summer, he referred me to AmeriFreight. They gave a very good quote for free. Unfortunately, when they were going out to get the carrier, the price ended up being much higher but still within the range I allowed from the quote. Their transport organizer was great. We have good and open lines of communication. However, I couldn't get into contact with the the first person I was paired with. There might’ve been something wrong with the email system and whenever I tried calling, he wasn’t in the office and then he’d call back. Then I got switched to another rep and she was fantastic.

I had to get my vehicle from Washington to Michigan. I found AmeriFreight on the website and they had good reviews so I chose them. They were the ones who found the trucking company and they were the only ones who were willing to come to Mio, Michigan. Their transport organizer did a good job. The driver though was a different story. I wasn’t there for pick up because I had already left town so a co-worker took care of it, but that went smoothly. However, I had a CB antenna on top of my truck and the driver said he forgot to take it off and he went under the tunnel and ripped it off. The Pace that the antenna was clung to, which is a heavy magnet attached to a cable that hooks into my CB inside my truck, he left that dangling on the side of my truck which scuffed the outside of my truck while going through many states. So that didn’t make me happy.

I used AmeriFreight when I transported the vehicle which I bought out of state. They came highly recommended on the internet. However, their rep sent me a quote and said it was for negotiation. But when I gave him a number, he said it's not going to work and said he'll give it a try but he came back with the same number that he initially gave me. So it really wasn't a negotiation process. I was also disappointed with their transport organizer because I felt like they're coercing me into buying their extra insurance policy. Now, I felt like I bought insurance that wasn't even necessary. Nevertheless, their driver was absolutely wonderful. He was a nice guy and I trust him. It took about three or four days to pick up and deliver the vehicle.

Our son recently moved to Scottsdale, AZ, from Louisville, KY, for a new job. After researching auto carriers, AmeriFreight stood out as one of the best. Ali ** of Amerifreight spent quite a bit of time with me explaining the process and assuring me that the car would make it safely on the day we needed it to arrive, if not before. It seems like standard procedure for the final part of the transaction to be paid in cash to the driver and that went off without a hitch. Our driver walked around the car with us on pick-up and delivery to mark any dents or scratches on the vehicle before it left Kentucky, as well as note the mileage in case anyone was concerned. (The car was a 2007 so there were a few marks to start but absolutely no change on delivery.) Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end was pleasant, professional and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend AmeriFreight.

When I moved to California, I used AmeriFreight to ship my vehicle. Being new to this area to give them $900 in cash to, they should consider the clients if they're gonna be late. The delivery driver was only two hours away from me, but he was unwilling to come any earlier than the day that he wanted to come, which was late. But Ally, the transport organizer was there to keep me informed and find somebody to do the job. She stayed on top of it and as soon as somebody was available, she used multiple ways to get in touch with me which I appreciated.

I couldn’t pass the smog test in California so I couldn’t get the vehicle registered here and I wanted to give it back to my parents. AmeriFreight had good reviews out of all of the other ones. I was given a much lower quote than what was the actual amount I paid. I got a number to call the driving company. I called them and they gave me a number for the driver. The driver was supposed to come to my house. But about the time that he was supposed to come, he asked me to meet him 20 minutes away, and not at my house. So it was not actually door-to-door, which was fine because it’s LA and I get it. But the driver was really nice and he got the vehicle delivered which took about a week.

I was relocating for my job, so I hired AmeriFreight a couple of weeks before my move. The first touchpoint was through their online system, but after that, I talked a person who would respond to my calls and emails. It was good. I also inquired about quotes at other places, but the quote that Amerifreight gave me was competitive in terms of market rate. They have been very prompt about informing me when my car will be picked up. The car was picked up with some minor delays due to traffic but after that, it was delivered the next day as I expected. The driver gave me a call right when he came. He helped unload the car, then we did a quick walk through. He was very courteous, friendly and straightforward. The delivery process went very easy. From the pick up to the delivery, it took less than 24 hours, which is very reasonable given the distance between the geographies of the travel. My experience was very good.

I needed to ship my vehicle to its buyer who was a family member. I initially liked AmeriFreight's online quote but I had to pay $200 more than what they originally quoted to me. The whole process seemed disingenuous. They quoted a price but I had to pay more to get somebody to pick up the car and I didn't like that.

They charged my deposit before the car was picked up. They keep giving me a higher price after they already gave me a quote for $1090 to ship my car from SC to CA. They attempted to make more money out of you until I said no and demand that I want to cancel my service with them. Do not use them if you want to get ripped off. Rick ** was my sales guy and he is terrible.

I used their free quote option then I called and changed the quote multiple times. It was very easy. Compared with the other quotes I got from different companies, it was around average or a little below. I took advantage of the military discount as well.

I needed to ship a Chevelle that I sold on eBay and AmeriFreight guaranteed me a price for it and lied about it. They told me that if I went with their offer where I paid about $900 that they'd guarantee a pickup by a certain date. When the pickup was supposed to show up, all of a sudden it's an extra $280 on top of that guaranteed price and they wouldn't ship the car unless I paid that $280. Also, I know that we live in the United States and we have the 2nd Amendment but it seems kind of weird to me that the carrier driver gets out with a gun strapped to his side. It was not so much of an issue on my end but the people that I was having the car delivered to were a little freaked out with the situation. It just didn't come across as professional. However, the delivery time was pretty quick because he picked it up on a Wednesday and Saturday morning he dropped it off. It was about a week and a half earlier than we expected.

My family and I relocated from Wisconsin to Utah, so we needed to transfer one of our cars without driving it because we don't have enough drivers. I saw AmeriFreight's ratings and found out that they were on the list of the top 25 freight companies. So I went to their website and was very impressed with it. Their transport organizer walked me through the process. But they usually don’t book the bid with the trucker until the week before the transport. He then gave me a date that he was going to follow up with me, but I never heard back from him. I did multiple follow ups with him but never heard back. I got lost in the mix and had to be re-setup with a new agent. I had to reach out to the company directly and someone else was assigned.

Their quote was a bit more expensive than the cheaper quotes I got by $100 or $200 per car, but they allowed me to pay in advance by credit card instead of cash on delivery. The transport organizer set the move up then called to confirm after all was done and I was satisfied. The delivery driver was professional and efficient.

It was effectively flawless.

After extensive online research I went with AmeriFreight as they were in the top 2 highest ranked companies. It was fast and efficient from the beginning: clear communication and pricing, follow up calls to check if the shipper (they are brokers) picked and then delivered the car. Everything I expected. It was a pleasure doing business with them. No hassle- simple and quick.

I bought a vehicle In Tennessee and needed to ship it to Montana. I picked AmeriFreight based on the reviews I looked at. The transport organizer was really personable and explained things relatively well. She was pretty good at answering questions. However, I didn't fully understand all the steps and everything that needed to take place in working with a broker versus actually working directly with a shipper. A little bit more upfront explanation would've been beneficial for me. They also shoot me an email when a shipping time came available and I had to respond to get that time slot. I didn't like that because it's like they assume I'm checking my email every second of the day, which is not the case for most people. I would've preferred a phone call for that stuff.

I moved from Charleston to Seattle and AmeriFreight had really good reviews online. I got a quote from them before I signed and it was so good. However, we had to go up $200 for the carrier because the car needed some fast delivery. The transport organizer was awesome and helped me a lot. She's always in very good contact with me, calling every two or three days, making sure that everything was going well and telling me what's the situation and what was the status of the carrier. She also called me two times for other options available but at the time it was too much money so I didn't opt for any of that.

Once he picked up the vehicle, the process took about three days and this was a little bit early compared to the expected time frame. I was extremely satisfied.

Amerifreight's organizer was very nice and I didn't feel I wasn't cared for. The carrier was amazing. He was so funny and easy to talk to. We used them because the Navy approved them. The process was easy and I felt confident. I would probably do it again if I had to.

The move was pretty easy to set up. I just let them know what the address needed to be picked up and delivered at, and the move went pretty smooth, was quick and easy, and my car was delivered on time.

The driver and I had a good interaction since we're both in California. I just told him when I planned to be in Texas and then he gave me his schedule also, and we agreed to meet at a certain time. They told us that the transfer will take 6 days and we were delighted that it only took them 3 days. We were really impressed with how fast they got the vehicle to California. It was much easier than I expected.

I read the reviews and spoke to AmeriFreight's representative, Rick who instilled more confidence in me about the company's track record and their utilization of drivers with exceptional track record. The quote they gave me was a little high so I called back and renegotiated the quote. Their transport organizer gave me his cellphone number. Every time I called however, he never answered so I had to call a backup person and try to find out information.

AmeriFreight had the lowest quote when I searched online. The organizer was really helpful. I didn’t have any problems arise during the course of the transaction, so everything went really well. On the day of delivery, the driver was professional. The process took about a week and was a little bit late because they ran into some truck problems on the pickup and then I was out of town on the scheduled delivery, so things went a little bit long. But overall, I’m fine with it. Everything was pretty straightforward and was what I was expecting.

I’ve dealt with AmeriFreight in the past and I've had the best experience with them of the four or five times I’ve shipped vehicles. I used them to ship my car to my brother, who just finished his deployment to Korea, and is on his way back, so he needed a vehicle before his truck from Korea had gotten in. I talked to the transport organizer through emails, phone calls, and through communication on a weekly basis to see where we’re at with finding a driver, their rating, and feedback from that. The whole process took about four days, and when the vehicle arrived, it was enclosed, which was awesome. We went over the vehicle pictures and what was wrong with it, and it looked good. It arrived in the same condition.

I like the price of AmeriFreight and a friend recommended it because of its quality. The gentleman communicated both through e-mails and phone calls, identifying what my need dates were and what the parameters of the move would entail, because this is the first time I've done this, so I needed education on it. The carrier, due to traffic, was delayed getting to my home, but they maintained constant communication. I live in a rural area, so there are some limits on where the big trucks can pull into, but they got a spot that was within a quarter mile of my house where I met them.

He dropped off my car before I arrived there and was able to communicate with the people who were picking up my car. It was good. The whole process took two days. It was quick, easy, and painless.

All-around great service!!! AmeriFreight did an excellent job shipping our vehicle from New York to California. Lecia helped us every step of the way. If you are contemplating shipping your car, I would highly recommend using this broker. When I called to inquire about when the car would be shipped, they worked with me to try to obtain a carrier as fast as possible. Really impressed with this company!!!

I was moving my wife back to Virginia due to redeployment and chose AmeriFreight to ship our vehicle because of their BBB ratings. It was an easy experience. The quote given was reasonable and the organizer and driver were nice.

Amerifreight had good reviews online. When I moved from Philadelphia to California, they provided efficient service. I got a fair quote from them, too. At the beginning of the process, they kept me in the loop if anybody was bidding on the transport. Also, I had really good interactions with the driver. He communicated with me when he was going to arrive and set up a very convenient location, and contacted me again when he was close so it all worked out well.

We were moving across country and we have an au pair so her vehicle needed to be moved. I read the reviews online and submitted a couple of bids to companies, and AmeriFreight's was lower. The pricing part is a little confusing though. They tell you it might be one price and then they come in with a different price, which also has to do with the driver, based on their pricing. It ended up being more than what that number was but we still saved money in the end.

The AmeriFreight organizer's name is John and he replied very quickly and gave me the quote and the phone number I should talk to to set up the transportation. It was a very straightforward and easy process. The carrier was also on time and very considerate and polite. He parked the truck somewhere very close to my location. I ws relocating for a job and the whole process took about two weeks.

I moved for a new job from North Carolina to California. I didn’t have plans to drive my vehicle, so I needed to get it shipped. I got a couple of quotes and AmeriFreight was cheaper than what the other company was offering. But after that, the final quote ended up being close to what I have with the other one. The person who came to pick up my car had his big truck, so he couldn’t come to my house. We had to coordinate, drop it off in some place that has a big parking lot. It would’ve been nice to know something like that upfront because I only came to know this when the driver called me. He did a check if there were any previous little damage to my car, which I didn’t really have much. He arrived on the day he told me. It was a little later but it was fine because I haven’t started my job, so I was able to go. The car came in good condition.

I inherited my dad’s car so I had AmeriFreight transport it because they had good reviews. The process took six days. Ali, the transport organizer handled and took care of everything, and called me right back. The problem however, was the extra insurance I purchased through them. I filled out all their information online and I’m not getting any response. I’m really disappointed. The car that I had delivered was a Dodge Viper, a very high-end, rare, expensive car. It had a soft top roof and I received it with the roof broken. It came off the transport which scratched the car, and to replace the roof will cost five grand. If AmeriFreight would’ve told me that the insurance wasn’t very good, I probably would have gone another road for it. Nevertheless, I would still recommend AmeriFreight because it wasn't their fault.

Stay away from them is my advice. I needed to move my son's car. I filled up the form and got a very nice quote for $890 with an advice to call in 36 hrs to get even lower quote. Called next day, spoke to the lady who had provided an estimate, named Lecia. She reduced the price to $855, nice! Then, the truth came out. She said that they tried to meet their targets but actual price might be higher. How high? Maybe 50-200$ extra. I said it was OK. Then, I asked if she was sure. Then, she said that it would really be $1450 as a minimum. I asked for her manager, and she hang up. I called and spoke to Graham (?), who claimed to be a manager. He was very defensive, IMO, and said that she followed their policies. I guess, 100% bait and switch. Just stay away.

I was giving my car to my daughter in Florida, so I went on Angie's List and AmeriFreight was highly rated. The quote that was given to me was fine, but they didn’t find anybody to ship it at that price, so it ended up more expensive than the quote. The carrier driver was fine. I don’t have any problem with it. He got it down there quickly. I called and asked about the quote and what happens if you don’t get the quote, and she said, “Well, you probably won’t get that quote. 70% of them are always more than that.” And I said, “Well, maybe then I won’t use you.” And she said, “We don’t do business like that” and hung up. So I called back two days later and she had taken me out of the system.

I was going to live in a different state so I had to ship my vehicle. AmeriFreight gave a free quote and it's reasonable, then they explained the details. They called me immediately, gave the options and told me to use the good option. The driver was on time to pick up the vehicle and immediately responded by text messages or call. It took them three days to deliver the vehicle and it arrived on time. I've mentioned my good experience to someone else.

My in-laws were moving cross country and needed to ship their vehicle, so we went with AmeriFreight because I received a fairly decent quote from them. The transport organizer, Graham, got in touch with me fairly quickly. He told us that he was working with a number of shipping companies and had put out the quoted price to them and get back to me if someone accepted. The final price was fairly off the quote. They reeled me in and ended up about $300 or $400 more. Then the transport ended up being almost 19 days. The actual carrier itself was okay. We could get a hold of them, but the delivery date kept changing. It was unorganized about when the delivery was gonna happen. But it ended up being adequate since most of my issue was with the shipper company and not with AmeriFreight as the broker.

The AmeriFreight organizer was helpful in getting us through the process. The carrier called me ahead of time and told me exactly where to meet him. He showed up on the day that we agreed upon, on time. My car could have been delivered to California earlier, but it was gonna get there before I was so they held it a couple of days for me. The only thing I disliked is that the quote they give you is just a number they use to grab the business. The price we paid was a few hundred dollars more than the actual quote! It was, nevertheless, a smooth process for getting my car cross country.

I was giving my car as a gift for my sister, so I was shipping it and AmeriFreight was the first one that came up when I searched. I got their quote the soonest and it was the cheapest one. I used their free quote option was very helpful, but I thought it was additionally beneficial to call and speak with one of the representatives. The transport organizer walked me through the different options and helped me identify the one that met the needs that we had and was very good about getting a quote and getting it signed out to a transporter. The carrier driver also gave me advance notice and arrived within the expected time frame and was very courteous. The process from beginning to end was quick.

I was moving across country and AmeriFreight initially offered me one of the lower estimates and they were highly rated on a number of review sites I had read, so I hired them. But the quote that they gave me was horribly under what it ended up being and I was a little disappointed in it. The transport organizer was very helpful. He would call and e-mail me with any updates and would always get back to me within 24 hours of me trying to reach out to him. The transport organizer was very helpful and kept me informed all the time. She called me several times during the process to make sure I have been contacted and in contact with the driver. She did a very good job. I had not heard from the carrier driver previously so I called him around the day it was supposed to be delivered and he told me when he would be able to come. We were able to meet up and it worked out just fine. The entire process took exactly a week. They had to work around some of my timing restrictions so they had to not deliver it over the weekend and they were able to accommodate that. Everything went very smoothly and efficiently.

Amerifreight is great, but it’s just too slow. It’s normally just 7 to 10 days but it went over 10 days. But they're very easy to contact and the representative that I talked to was good and she's reachable.

I used AmeriFreight last 2014 and recently when my daughter moved. The first time I had to go up with the quotation. But the second time I used them, it was pretty much an agreeable amount. It was really short notice and their company acted on it really fast and was able to find a driver. And the car, I felt was gonna be lingering on, because that’s what happened the first time. But it was a different time - it's more summer time whereas before it was closer to winter. I was totally shocked because the second time around the vehicle got to the destination really fast. Their rep also did a very good job. He kept me up on what was going on and he gave me calls back.

My son had a car in California and it was really too much of a drive to move it back home to Boston, so we went with shipping. I went through numerous websites, and it seemed the most responsive reviews were AmeriFreight’s. Their quote was very reasonable. We weren’t really shopping for the lowest price. I just wanted a reliable shipper. I had several phone calls and emails with Allie and she was terrific. She was very responsive both on emails and on the routine phone calls. She called me a couple of times to see how things were going. And she was very professional and knowledgeable. In addition, the driver was very nice. He gave us a call and showed up at the appropriate location about two miles from our house and right on time. He got the car off safely and we were on our way. I’ve never done this before and I made the right decision choosing AmeriFreight. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I looked up AmeriFreight's ratings and cost of shipping online, and decided to go with them. Their team was friendly and the overall experience was convenient. Things seemed to work out well.

I tried to ship with another shipper but they were not staying in touch, not completing the work so I bailed out of that and paid the fee to do so. Then, I got involved with AmeriFreight and they did a great job. Everybody stayed in touch and I didn't have any issues. I called the number I was provided and they got a hold of the company that was going to pick up the vehicle. The process took seven days and was better than expected. I would use them again if I was moving a vehicle.

The quote given to me by AmeriFreight was fair but the cost given at the end was priced more. They were responsive and on time. The compnay and the driver have good communication and coordination. Overall, they're a good company and I might use them again for another move.

I needed to move my wife’s car from Texas to North Carolina. All the other transport companies seemed a little bit shady and AmeriFreight had all good reviews so I went with them. Their initial quote was low and reasonable but I was expecting it to increase because the area where we live is not on any major highways. Then when they finally got somebody to pick up the car, she wanted $325. Considering, after three weeks, they couldn't find anybody to ship it, I'm surprised she raised her rate versus keeping it the same or lowering the rate to match the quote. She never called me and I had to keep calling her. She was easy to get a hold of and kept saying she'd get a hold of me once she does that or the other. They had great communication with getting the quote and being able to contact them. But they should look into the people they contract out to actually deliver the cars to make sure that they follow up with the customer. I could never get a hold of the actual company that shipped my car. The carrier driver never answered any phone calls and I never got any updates the entire time my car was getting shipped across the country so that was a letdown. A guys picked my car up at 1:00 AM and it wasn't even the driver. It was some other guy who was his friend but he had a name badge and everything. Then I never saw my car go into the truck. I was on a schedule and so I just had to leave it there.

I put on there 8:00 to 5:00 delivery and they were there at 7:15. They weren’t upset that I wasn’t there yet.

Everything went well. The car was delivered a couple of days later than when projected but I was kept informed of what was going on.

Our broker was Graham and he was very helpful and informative on setting up and getting the process started to ship our son's new car across the US. We started on the low end and eventually pushed the price up. From the date that we had a carrier, it only took 6 days to get from SC to Washington State.

They were great and very attentive, making sure my car was taken care of.
