AmeriFreight seemed to be fairly highly recommended on the internet. I called them directly and I got a quote which in the end, it was low, quite above what we ended up paying. It worked fine with them and the vehicle ended up fine as well. I'd use them again if I have to ship a car today.

It was great working with Ali from AmeriFreight. From beginning to end, she always called and checked in to let me know what was taking place and see how the process was going. Then when the driver came to pick up my car, he gave me his cell phone number and told me I can text him. He texted me to let me know where he is and all that other kind of stuff. It was a smooth transition to get my car to me scratch-free.

Amerifreight was the most competitive financially. They got the car delivered and the driver they outsourced from Dash Enterprises was outstanding on both ends because I dealt with him in South Carolina and I had a whole lot of confidence in the way he presented himself. He was a very true gentleman. On the other end, in Arizona, my daughter who met him at the drop-off site said he kept her informed on the phone when he was getting near to the area. Everything went smooth there, too. That guy did a great job.

I went on Angie's List and AmeriFreight was among the three top recommended and they were already checked out by the Better Business Bureau. They called me back right away, scheduled the move and picked up the car. They were wonderful and we were so pleased. It was my son's car that came from Connecticut down here to Georgia. The carrier driver talked to my son and they found an amicable place for him to pick up the car. The carrier was clean and it looked brand new. The driver was nice and he took good care of my son and the car. When the car was delivered, he put it right in the driveway and there was no damage. We would use him again, specifically. The rep was also wonderful. She was sick and was not at work but she still found the time to call me to make sure that whoever she had left our account with was on the ball and helping us out.

I talked to AmeriFreight's organizer by email and by phone before deciding to go with them. He then put me in touch with the driver, and I talked to the driver from there. I would recommend AmeriFreight.

I found AmeriFreight through an internet search and they were highly recommended by ConsumerAffairs so I gave them a call. So glad I did. They explained the bidding process and outlined the costs to me very well. I saved so much money and the transport was on-time. Definitely would recommend AmeriFreight.

AmeriFreight's rep was very helpful but the Phoenix Freight that picked up the car was not truthful with their date and time, and their time frame was off. They're not direct with their communication and they ended up bringing the wrong car to my son. He was so upset having waited all day. It's so difficult when somebody is working and he was so distressed about that. Nonetheless, their rep was very nice in trying to help out and communicated with us in a nice manner.

My elderly mother was in Southern California, she's driving and her grandkids needed a car out here, so we needed to get the car shipped out this way from Southern California to New Hampshire. AmeriFreight was highly rated on Angie's List.

My wife and I fielded with the driver and she described them as very accommodating. We live on a residential area that wasn't conducive to getting the vehicle, bringing the truck into the neighborhood and unloading it there. And so he went to a local car dealership, parked, unloaded the car, and I drove it to our home. Then my wife showed him back where his truck was. This is the third car we've had shipped to us, we had shipped a different car from California, and a different one from Texas. In particular, the advance work done by AmeriFreight in the whole process, the communication ahead of time, the driver itself, and the amount of courtesy and accommodation from this guy were really appreciated.

My grandfather was moving and we needed to get the car cross-country. I saw the reviews online for AmeriFreight, went with them, and the person who organized it handled everything. I just had to tell her the details of the trip and she put it out for bid and handled the rest. Then she called to tell me they will be coming the next day. So, from that perspective, it was a very easy process. I also really liked the guy who picked up the car and drove it cross-country as he was extremely nice.

I've only used a car transport twice, this was my second time. When I used it 12 years ago, they had a definite specific time we were going to pick it up and a specific time they were going to drop it off. Nowadays, you go through a broker and they broker it out to different truck drivers. So I told them that I've got an airplane to catch and I need to have my car picked up. They couldn't tell when will it be picked up until someone said: "Sure, I'll pick that one up for you." That was frustrating but that's typical of all broker transport companies, they put it out for bid. They put it out really low but then you end up paying quite a bit more.

In the end, it all worked out. The person that picked up my car and delivered it could not have been nicer. He was top notch. I called them every day and the guy was very nice to me and very patient. He understood where I was coming from. They do get reputable people to transport your car, it's not just anybody. I felt very comfortable that my cars were in good hands. It came in perfect condition. I would use them again.

I got a job out in Raleigh, Durham and I needed a car. I didn't want to rent the whole time because that's very expensive so I shipped mine. AmeriFreight was one of the top of the list that I was looking at that was recommended. The person that I talked to got me going. The only problem was she talked so fast. I don't understand everything she's saying because she rattled off all the conditions. I know she’s trying to get through it but the main point is that the car got there in good shape and I'm happy about that. A little dirtier though, as expected. It's expensive but I think they all are. It all comes down to the driver and the luck of the draw, and hopefully get a good one, and he was.

However, it wasn't absolutely clear to me that I needed to pay the driver cash right then and there. I thought I was paying with a credit card when we discussed it, but I guess I was paying with the credit card for the service. They're basically a go-between to get a driver for me. I thought the credit card was to cover everything. So, when he was expecting cash from me, we basically went to the bank and got the money, and he was nice about that. It just put me on the spot.

A lot of online companies nowadays are a bit sketchy, and I've seen a lot of negative complaints over them. They don't look as professional as AmeriFreight. AmeriFreight's website was laid out and everything was broken down into what the differences between a broker and a carrier are, among other things. It caught my interest right away. I started searching a little bit more on reviews, and as every company has negative feedback, the positive feedback was definitely more than the negative. So I took a chance, and I was not disappointed. The people that I talked to, including the manager that was handling my shipment, and the truck driver, were professional and easy to work with. I had to switch my dates and they were flexible with it. All in all, I was very happy with the experience. If I ever have to ship my car over again, I will use AmeriFreight.

AmeriFreight gave me a quote from the people that they contract with. The carrier driver was a great guy. I would recommend him 100% because he did a great job from the time that he started with me and picked up my car until, on the other end, when his family member dropped the car off. I moved from DC to CA and needed to ship my vehicle so that the long drive across the country wasn't an option. I contacted several vehicle transport companies and AmeriFreight was the first to make person-to-person contact with me. I was told all the terms of the contract and understood it. Graham at AmeriFreight found me a carrier within 4 days of agreeing to a contract. Pick up after that was 3 days. The timeline of contract signing to pickup was very reasonable because I was running out of time to get all my things shipped. Communications throughout the process of shipment was excellent! The only reason I gave a 4 star review is because the quote I was given was about $400 less than what I actually paid for the service.

The guy that I talked to on the phone was really good and wasn't pushy at all. He put the options and the facts out there and allowed me to make the decision instead of trying to push me into anything which I liked about him. That helps in its own right when the facts speak for themselves. The whole process took about a week and a half to two weeks before we got someone to take the bid and then they picked up the car on the date that I asked and dropped it off within 10 days.

AmeriFreight explained the process to me really well. They told me that if there are any time delays on getting a broker or a driver, it's because they needed to find the right driver with the right conditions and agreed to whatever I had in place. When it was time for that, they contacted me and gave me the date and time that the car would be picked up. It was picked up a couple of days early, which was still fine with me because my flight was about a day before the car got here, and that was great.

They made me feel comfortable along the way because they got my car and I've only given them the down payment. Anything could happen. But they kept open communication which was absolutely stress-free for me because this has been a medical move and I'm under a lot of strain from my condition. That was a very pleasant and professional help for me to know that they were keeping in contact and not blocking my calls and they kept their word. The driver was extremely courteous. My sister received the car from him and she just loved him. She thought he was the most wonderful young guy, very polite, courteous, and respectful.

I have one tip and a lot of people are not too familiar with this service. They need to market on the elderly people who are moving towards closer to a family, to get the car there without them having to travel by themselves on highways days and night, and have the car delivered to their family's home. Other than that, my experience with AmeriFreight is superb and excellent. I recommended them to three different people already.

We had a couple of little glitches here and there about miscommunication but that’s to be expected. Unfortunately, their driver couldn’t come down the street. It’s a wide street down the bottom here but the older homes are up at the top. When he went to turn, he couldn’t make it so he took the car off the truck and drove it down here and rang the bell. I was surprised myself that it worked out so well. I was very pleased with the whole thing. I would recommend them to anyone.

My representative, Ali, worked with me for a couple of weeks before while I was trying to figure out what the best estimate was and picked the best people. So, I ended up with AmeriFreight. When I gave her the final go ahead and paid the upfront cost, within minutes of her putting the ad out for a contractor to pick up my car, it had two bidders. Two carriers had volunteered to pick up my car, which ended up saving me an additional $50. And they worked with me and got me a military discount, which was also beneficial.

And the funny thing was the same day that they called and I got the two carriers to bid on it, the one that won the bid for $50 less actually picked it up the exact same day. So, I coordinated with my buddy in Colorado. They picked it up that evening, promising it would be there on the following Monday. It actually showed up Sunday morning, 24 hours ahead of schedule in the same shape that it left with just a little bit of road grime which is expected in an open carrier. It all went outstanding.

We were moving from Colorado to California and my wife and I wanted to drive with her animals in one car so we could ship the other one. AmeriFreight had a Better Business Bureau recommendation which most of the transport companies didn’t have. The vehicle arrived on time and it looks okay so those were pluses but there were a few things that didn’t quite go so well. The carrier driver had a few problems. They told me that they would be there within a window of 4:00 to 6:00 a.m. and they didn’t make it, so an hour later I called them and there was no answer on the cellphone. So I found another phone number to call and then we screwed around for a while and finally the guy shows up at 9:30 that night and said he’d wrecked his truck and lost this phone and had all kinds of excuses.

Also, I did go in and ask for a quote on the car and the delivery time that they gave me for the price of $760 for the shipping, and by the time I accepted it and waited a week’s time, they called and said it would be $900. That doesn’t sound like a very good price compared to what I was quoted. They said I don’t have to accept it. It’s just a bid and they can keep looking for more prices, but by then it had been a week and we were leaving for California the next day. It got to a point where it may not be what they promised me but I got to get something moving. And I wasn't happy at all about that.

He thought I was giving $50 whenever I handed him cash, but it was not a big deal. The one thing that itched me the wrong way was I had an estimated delivery date of October 2nd. He called me at the end of September saying that he would leave at 9:00 at night and that he'd be here in an hour. After that, he claimed that he was three days behind because of my vehicle. That didn't make any sense to me considering that the estimated delivery date was two days after he was already there. I don't know if he was trying to get a pity-party out of me for him and try to get more money out of me, but either way he got what I owed him and everything went pretty well.

I purchased a vehicle and needed to get it from Georgia to California. I had known a guy from Atlanta that works for AmeriFreight and he helped me. I had never known the process before and didn’t want to get taken advantage of. He explained things quickly and thoroughly for me so I understood him and felt comfortable with dealing with somebody that I knew would be in my corner if I had to have somebody help me out. However, there was a defect in the vehicle and if I take possession of the damaged vehicle right now, I don’t know if I’m going to have responsibility for the damages or they're going to have responsibility because there’s no third party witness to document anything. So, I was trying to be assertive with their driver and helped him understand how I felt and let him know that I was concerned for my financial well being with the transaction.

They sold me a horrible insurance for the trip but it only covers the car if something happens to it while in transit to make up the difference that my insurance doesn’t pay. It costs $100 for that insurance and my deductible is $500. I could have paid the other $400 out of pocket and not cared at all. Other than that, AmeriFreight was awesome. The person who helped me transfer the vehicle out was absolutely awesome. The claim agent with the insurance company who I am talking with now to try to get my insurance money to resolve and help cover the damages for the vehicle looks to be working for both Amerifreight and the insurance company. The trucking company chose to assume no responsibility and never returned my phone calls since they delivered me a damaged product. They’re choosing not to acknowledge any responsibility at all. But AmeriFreight was not at fault for that at all.

I had given AmeriFreight a week's notice on having to cancel out one of the cars but I still ended up having to fully forfeit the cost of a third of the vehicles, and it's like my commission fee which was disappointing. My son was moving from California to Massachusetts. I needed my SUV shipped back since he’s not going to be living there. AmeriFreight had high reviews and I also spoke to Graham and he was really very professional. He told me what needs to be done. He sent the information. I filled up the forms and he was very precise and clear and he didn’t try to sell me. He just gave me the choice to make my decision.

The quote was very close. The one thing that might have made it a little bit more was because I decided to take the insurance to protect my car. I didn’t plan on that but it's what I need. I want to make sure that nothing would happen to my car. Graham was very good. I didn’t believe that it would be so fast. He told me that they needed 10 days to two weeks. I was so surprised when it’s the first day. I said anywhere from 19th to 27th. And on the 19th in the morning at 10 o’clock, he called me and said there’s a carrier available. I thought that it would take about two or three days. I didn’t expect that. So that was really good.

The day of pickup, the carrier called me and they said that it’s going to be there in a couple of hours, that they want to notify my son. I had more trouble when they came to drop off because I got a phone call and they told me that it’s going to be there around 10 o’clock and I said, “That’s fine. I’ll wait.” I said, “How come it’s taking that long?” The driver said he had to go to Rhode Island and then come and drop off in Boston.

The driver called me again around 10 minutes to 10:00 and told me that there was a problem with the truck and that he would like to come around 1 o’clock or 1:30 in the morning. I told him, “No. I’m sorry. I cannot really stay awake so late and it’s going to be really inconvenient. I'm willing to wait on Saturday. Whenever you guys are able to come, that’s fine with me." Then he called me back again after 15 minutes and said how soon can I let him come over? And I said, “At 6 o’clock.” So he decided to come around 6:30.

I woke up at 6 o’clock and we got ready. My husband and I have not heard from the carrier. Finally, around 10 o’clock, he told us that he’s around down the road. That’s the only time I didn’t like it. I wish he’d called us so that we would have slept later. But it’s okay. Things happen. I would still choose them if I want to ship my car out of state. The carrier will not be the same but I will choose the company itself.

My son-in-law bought a pickup truck back in Vermont and I live in Arizona. I went to a ratings service on the web and found AmeriFreight was well-rated. I didn't do a free quote and just signed up. They sent me an e-mail and told me what to expect and what was gonna happen. Then laid it all out, nice and clear. It was easy. The driver called me a day ahead of time. And then the day of delivery, he called me again. He arrived about when he said he would. The truck was in great shape when it was delivered. I'd use them again.

My interaction with their transport organizer was excellent. Everything went great and happened like he said which was really good. I only talked to the carrier driver on the day of delivery but everything was fine. The travel time was three days, so it took five days to deliver my vehicle which was much quicker. I was told by other companies it’d be a month.

It was the first time shipping my car because I was moving from California to Mississippi. AmeriFreight had one of the better ratings that I found over other transport providers. I got the free quote from them but it ended up being a couple of hundred dollars more than the quote which I think the price was what most places probably would've done it. It was just surprising.

The one who helped schedule the transport was really nice and helpful. I liked him. The day of delivery and pick up were totally fine. The carrier driver was really nice. When the vehicle arrived, there was some trash and someone had spilled something on one of my mats in the back but there was no physical damage to the vehicle. The whole process only took 10 days from the time they picked the vehicle up to the time that it was delivered which was within the 7-10 days time frame.

I was moving across the country and used AmeriFreight. They were great, organized and knew what they were doing versus a lot of the other companies I had talked to. The quote they gave me was good and they told me they would try and get it as close to what they quoted. It came in a little higher in the end, but it was still comparable or better to others I had heard of. Also compared to other companies I worked with that took days to get back to me, the transport organizer from AmeriFreight was great and got back to me immediately on everything. If I needed something, he was there.

The carriers were great too. But we had a pick-up issue where the driver ended up at the wrong location and I had to go out and meet him. Then the guy who was delivering it couldn't get the trailer into my neighborhood. So I had to arrange to meet him. I was on my own and I didn't know anyone especially that it was my first couple of days in town. But we made it worked out and they were both very professional and kind. I was pleased with them. My move went very smoothly and if I had to do this again, I would use them.

I was shipping a food truck up from Florida to Connecticut where I live. I went with AmeriFreight partially for the price and partially for what appeared to be very good reviews from Angie’s List. The quote they gave me was fine and was 70% accurate in the end. It was within reason. The transport organizer was terrific and was on top of it. She was in constant contact, returned phone calls promptly, and gave excellent service. It was more of a disaster with the carrier driver. He would not drive the truck onto his truck so someone else had to drive that truck up onto his truck. The carrier called me about 20 minutes before he was delivering, which was extremely inconvenient because I could have been anywhere in the state of Connecticut. But fortunately, I was home and was able to meet him within that half hour. The 20 minutes’ notice was unacceptable.

When I met the driver, it was a horrific day and rain was pouring. He refused to back the truck off his truck and he expected whoever was there to drive it. I am five foot zero and was climbing up his very high truck at four inches on either side to get into the truck and in the pouring rain with the door open ‘cause I had to look. I had three inches on each side of the vehicle to back that truck off. I was terrified. I am up eight feet and I told the carrier driver that if I go off track, the vehicle would roll down and I'd be dead. It was one of the scariest things I've ever done in my life without exaggeration and I have no fear. But he refused to back it off. I had to take my time, go inch by inch, watch him every second and back the truck off. It took me 20 minutes to get it off his truck. After that, he asked for a tip. I tipped him but I wasn't happy and it was not proper service.

On top of that, he wouldn’t give me any paperwork when I received the truck. He said there was none and I had no paperwork to check anything off on. Also when I received the truck, the entire left side had this horrific yellow stain on its side. It was very weird and it seemed like something splashed on it and it would not come off without very intense chemical removal. I had to buy all these chemicals to spray on it like graffiti remover and it took me hours and hours to clean that truck. The truck was pretty heavily damaged and I had no recourse. But with the exception of that stained side, everything else seemed to be in order. I spoke to the AmeriFreight agent about it and she said they won't use them again. They should try to really vet who their carriers are. Overall, from pickup to delivery, it was 4 or 5 days which was a little longer than they had initially told me.

I talked to him and he didn't seem too customer-friendly. AmeriFreight is great but the different carriers they chose spoke broken English making it tough to communicate with them. I contacted my guy that I talked with and I told him about them. He took care of it right away and I got a call back. I ended up paying like $300 more than what he told me I would pay but he told me upfront that it might happen. AmeriFreight did everything they could. I had no problems communicating with him and him communicating with me. It’s hard to find good people to talk to over the telephone that communicate with you, call you back when you leave messages, and respond to your emails immediately.

Looking at the research, AmeriFreight had better reviews, so we got them when we were moving and had to ship our BMW. I called them in advance and the rep initially gave me a rate of $1000, which was way off the $600 quote. He then said that they normally start at $600, but if I was able to wait a while then it would be closer to it. However, I waited for three weeks and I still paid $875.

My car was at the port and the carrier would need a TWIC card which I explained to them. I also told them that they had to call me 24 hours in advance to schedule the pick-up, but none of that happened. I called the company that Monday morning to ensure that everything was good. This happened on a Saturday and they brushed me off quickly saying that they got everything and will call me to set up an appointment to pick up the car. However, they showed up that same day with no TWIC card. AmeriFreight fixed it and ended up paying the $75 fee since I had provided all that information at the beginning.

The process was quick. The shipment took only three days and though they got in late and wanted to deliver at 10 o'clock late at night, they were able to accommodate it to 7:00 the next morning. The vehicle came in dirty, but it was fine. AmeriFreight did a good job in fixing the situation with the carrier and I'd recommend them.

AmeriFreight arranged the shipment of my car from Virginia to Texas. I've never done shipping my car before so I looked up on the internet. AmeriFreight was rated highly. They gave me a quote and then they put it out to the truckers and the lady explained that that’s the way the process works. They found the trucker rather quickly. However, the quote given to me was 15% lower than the actual price. The rep told me that I had the choice of waiting for other bids to come in. But I took the first one.

I met the driver over on a road where they had decent access and it was just a couple of blocks away. We loaded the car and he left. Then it was either his son or his brother’s son that actually delivered it. I live in a townhouse complex here at Austin. There’s no room for a truck to pull through here at all. He drove it and unloaded it over at a used car place where they have some room for that. My son was here when they got here. My son drove them back over to his truck and everything was fine.

The driver said I was the last delivery in Texas. First, they had to go to Louisiana then Houston and then Austin. It was all fine. Everything happened the way that AmeriFreight and the truck driver said it would. It was within the time range and there was no damage. Nothing at all wrong with the car. I would use AmeriFreight again. I would also ask for that same carrier if possible.

The references and the ratings of AmeriFreight seemed to be good. They gave us a quote of what they thought it was gonna take, which I thought was very attractive. I thought it was low and that it would go higher, which it did.

The transport organizer was terrific and kept me abreast of everything. They were having trouble trying to find a driver and she made me aware of that right from the start, saying “You’re up in the New England area and there’s just not a lot of drivers for that area.” She called me constantly, giving me updates so she was very good from that standpoint. She followed up once the car was picked up and wanted to know how that experience went. She also followed up on the delivery experience. I was really pleased.

The day of pick-up was very good. They’re very thorough. We were told to make sure we took photographs of any damages. They took photographs of things. I couldn’t even see them, they were so small. They really wanted to make sure there was nothing on the car that wasn’t there initially. I was very impressed with that. They were on-time. They even called and said, “We’re gonna be at this place in about one hour.” And they were there right on time so there was no waiting and we were done in 15 minutes.

My daughter’s the one at the other end and she told me she was getting calls from the driver, letting her know where they were as they got closer. Then apparently, they hit some truck malfunction, but they let her know early on. And the car wasn’t able to be delivered until the next day. They had to switch trucks which actually worked out well for my daughter because she was in class. They had a little bit of difficulty but kept the client involved so that the client knew there wasn’t anything else going on. It was good.

But my biggest problem was the driver got really late for the pickup. He said he's gonna be there at this time at night on the day it was supposed to be but then four hours later, I had to call him to ask what is going on. He said he'd be arriving three hours from that time then. But three hours turned to seven so I called him again to ask what was going on. He now asked to come in the morning.

Eventually, the pickup got pushed back four days. That's ridiculous. I had to tell him to be straight with me, that he needed to call me if he's not gonna be there and that I don't want to have to keep calling him while sitting around and waiting. After that he started calling me. Then he came and everything from there was fine. It took four days from pickup to delivery. The drop-off was as expected as he made up for time. They took care of the cars which is also important.

I needed to pick up a rec in South Carolina and have it shipped down here. I had used another company. I also knew one of the guys from this international freight company and were cheaper, but they can't get it done. I checked AmeriFreight's ratings online and I knew I'd get some quality service. I just called them up and they gave me a free quote, though I thought it was a little high. But I really appreciate the quality service of their reps. They kept in touch with me and called me every day to let me know what was going in. It took five days from beginning to end and my vehicle arrived in the same condition that I left it. They were quick and have done what I needed them to get done. If it wasn’t for you AmeriFreight, I’d probably still be fighting to get that car down here.

I needed to ship a car out to my son who is in Colorado so I did a search on the Internet and looked at different transport providers. I read their comments and the reviews, and asked for quotes. And AmeriFreight seemed to be responsive and their comments were all pretty positive. Their quote was pretty reasonable, too. And when we did the actual shipment, it turned out to be just a little bit more, but that was because I added something to it. The organizer, Ali, was very communicative. She would let me know where things were or when things were needed and kept me updated on the various stages of what was going on because I had never done this before. So, that was very helpful.

Ali gave me the driver's name and phone number, and then he called me when he was on route. When he told me the truck he was driving, we decided that it would be better for me to meet him and deliver the car to him in a more suitable parking place where he could park his rig. When we got there, he was already there even though we were essentially on time. He was ready to take the car. He was very personable and communicative. He told us what he was doing and about how long it would take. So, it was a very positive experience. At the other end, my son received the car, and he thought that it was a pretty good experience. On top of that, the delivery was early. The driver said he could deliver it on a Monday or more likely the Tuesday and in actual fact, he delivered it on a Monday. I was really pleased so I'd recommend them to anybody.

Graham, the customer service person that we worked with was helpful and worked through some issues that we were having on when the car was going to be shipped and for the cost. He was able to work that through with us and then get the car picked up very quickly. The driver was friendly. We walked around the car and chatted a bit. I wasn’t there when my mom picked up the car from him but it went fine as well. The car was delivered within the time frame, which was five days. It was a good experience. I bought a vehicle in New York and needed to get it transferred to Texas. AmeriFreight gave a quote that was right in the middle with everybody else. However, it was a bit more in the end and it got a little out of hand. Everything went well with the transport organizer, though, and the only problem I had is the driver. He would not drive my vehicle to load or unload it off of his trailer. He said he did not know how to drive a standard but his tractor trailer and 18-wheelers are standards. Also, he parked a wrecked vehicle over the top of mine and it leaked oil and fluid all over my vehicle. But there was no other damages when it was delivered.

I moved cross-country from Phoenix to South Carolina and AmeriFreight seemed efficient enough as the whole one-stop-shop. They also had good reviews and I didn't get the vibe that they were gonna try to jerk me around and do any bait and switch type of stuff. The quote they gave was decent and it ended up being like $500 more. But they explained that they're gonna put a bid and that's not necessarily what the price was gonna be. So I wasn't taken aback when they called back saying that it was gonna be more money. It was a little high but it was still around what everybody else was quoting.

The transport organizer was quick and efficient. He got it done in a perfect timeframe so that worked out. On the delivery, the driver called as he was running ahead of schedule so we met up with him early. The communication was good and he was great. It was painless, easy, and at a decent price. I would recommend them.

She handled everything for us so we barely had to do anything. She did all the upfront work and let us know once she had someone that was going to take our vehicle. I chose AmeriFreight for their really good reviews, and the lady that contacted me was really professional, very friendly, and made me feel comfortable. I paid $75 more than the free quote, but she told me that it could be up to a couple hundred dollars more, so she was really helpful. Then when it was passed off, a guy was coming through town and in two hours he could pick up the car. It was pouring rain and it worked out great.

During the delivery, it was my son picking the car up and he said everything looked fine. One concern is that we’re supposed to be able to inspect our car for any damage and when somebody comes at 1:00 o’clock in the morning, we can’t see it. But it was all good and nothing happened to the car. They picked it up on Saturday and it was there Tuesday in California from Indiana. They said it was going to come two days later, so that was pretty nice since my son was going to be leaving town. I’ve already told someone else about AmeriFreight because one never knows who they’re going to get when they deal with some strange person on the internet. My car was in Washington State and I live in Virginia so I searched the internet and found them. Their quote was good but we ended up not being able to meet that price point. The actual price we paid was 20% to 25% off which was reasonable. Once I decided to go ahead and list my vehicle, the transport organizer and I had good communication.

The delivery people were nice, they called ahead of time and showed up on time. I was surprised that they were able to bring that 75-foot truck off my street. Then they dropped it right in front of my house and helped me push into where I was going to keep it. It took a week for the vehicle to be delivered from the time of pickup which was within the seven to ten days they had said in the quote. The company had advised me well on my situation and I'm happy with how it all turned out.

My daughter was moving to Los Angeles. We needed to ship the car and AmeriFreight was recommended to me by a friend who did a similar thing for her daughter the previous year. Their quote was good and what I spent was pretty close to the original quote. The transport organizer was good about explaining the whole situation. And then he handed me off to the company once I finalized the quote. The carrier driver was two hours late in picking up the car but it was somewhat out of his control. He got caught in some traffic, contacted me and let me know about it.

The drop-off was the hardest and choppiest part of the whole thing. My daughter works so she had limited window time to pick up the car and they told her it was gonna be ready on Tuesday. She went to the place where they were supposed to be dropping it off then they called her and said they weren't coming. The next day was difficult because of her work situation. Initially, they told her they were gonna be charging us $10 a day extra because we didn't pick it up on the day. But then, when they reneged and didn't show up, then they said they wouldn't do that. They ended up scheduling it for Saturday, which worked out fine in the end.

The process took one day under two weeks and it was a little over because the expected timeframe was 10 to 12 days. It got to Los Angeles earlier than we expected but then the inability to deliver made it go over. They weren't the best in communicating either. The initial contact with my guy, Rick, was great. The communication got less once we were transferred over to the actual carrier. That's when I had to be much more proactive and track them down. We always had to call them every time. But all of them were very helpful. The vehicle was not damaged as well. I thought they were great and I would recommend them.

I looked at reviews and AmeriFreight seemed good. The broker was also very knowledgeable and communicated well with me. The quote I was given was a little high, but we talked through it all and came to an agreement so I was okay with it. It was accurate based on what he had told me, and he managed my expectations as far as the number. I shipped a vehicle to my daughter from Atlanta to Boston. When the trucker was supposed to show up on Labor Day and did not, they called me and said they were coming the next day. And when that didn't happen, I called the broker and told him I was concerned because I haven't heard from the trucker and they already missed their date, and he was very responsive. After I talked to him, less than an hour later, I got a call from the trucking company and they gave me a date that they committed to, and they were here when they said they were going to be after that.

The interaction with the driver was good. I gave my location, we talked about the car, and he looked over it. It was all good and professional. I was glad to get the vehicle delivered. The whole process took about four days. The car was a little dirtier, but other than that, everything else was the same. There was no damage or claim that had to be filed. It was a good experience.

I moved with the military and I hadn’t previously been able to take my vehicle with me. I needed to get it here ‘cause I couldn’t drive it myself. I looked at a couple of different websites and AmeriFreight was rated pretty high. The fact they offered a military discount definitely didn’t hurt either. The free quote was pretty good. They had cautioned me from the beginning that where I was moving the vehicle from to moving it out here to Oklahoma is not a regularly traveled route, so it may go a little higher. They even said the quote was probably a little low and it will likely get higher but they were very upfront throughout the whole process and I definitely appreciated that.

Graham was the AmeriFreight organizer and he was real pleasant. Every now and again I would have to send a follow up email or call. They were pretty busy, but whenever I was talking to them on the phone, they’re always straightforward. I had never shipped a vehicle before so Graham explained everything. The carrier was S&S Transport and they were fantastic. They picked up the vehicle from my dad and they managed to drive it cross-country in one day. They had called in advance to give me a window within an hour or two of when they were going to be there. They offloaded it and gave me instruction paperwork. We walked around the vehicle together and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

The move took 28 hours, so it was real quick. AmeriFreight had initially budgeted either two or three days to drive across the country. But they coordinated with me and said they were looking to push a little faster because they had two drivers in the vehicle and they wanted to get back here as well, which worked great for me. The whole process took a while because it was an unusual route. The initial bid came in July 30th and it didn’t get moved until early September. But overall, I’d recommend them and if I have to move my vehicle again, I’d go with them again.

Then I asked her if my quote would change if I wanted to include the carrier and a bunch of other criteria and she was very prompt in her responses. And then as soon as I said I wanted to move forward, she called me and I gave her what she needed over the phone and then ten minutes later she called me again saying they have someone who is willing to do it. That was very efficient.

The driver and I had a phone call when he gave me the day he was going to be there and pick up the car. The seller said he was very professional and loaded it up in the car very nice. He felt comfortable with it. And then the driver and I were texting throughout. It only took like six or seven days which is pretty fast for cross country. He would send text messages telling me of the estimated days he'd arrive and then when it got close to the destination, he called me to confirm the drop off location and time. He was very on-time which was really nice. The vehicle arrived without a scratch and it came even faster than I expected it to.

Usually people would tell me to not to use a broker and go straight to the company. I just moved across the country and for that, I didn't use a broker. She quoted me $1,200 for a closed vehicle transport system. And then I thought it'll probably end up being more. So I ended getting that extended warranty for $128. So, it said, $1,093. There's so much paperwork I have to read through, I have to get an attorney to understand some of that stuff, whereas, Chris explained it to me. And there were also no hidden fees before with Chris. He was so honest. Now with Allie, it turned out to be $1,495, which I understand, I got the $128. So, I was very disappointed.

Allie, for one thing, when I would call, she wouldn't call back. And then I think she took advantage because I needed my car. There was so many transport places out there and honest ones. I went on The Better Business Bureau and there were top 10 and AmeriFreight was somewhere in the middle. But since I had started with her, I thought, "Screw it. I want my car." And the process was way too long. I requested this back in August and I thought the car would be here on September 1st. They said they'd pick up the car on September 1st and then they didn't even pick up my car until the 12th.

Allie really ticked me off because of the fact that Chris never ever called me to tell me to close out the account, I'd have to do this review. I did that on my own. I'm a flight attendant and if there's a good letter, I am going to definitely write someone a good letter. And I wrote AmeriFreight and I said, "Excellent service." But Allie kept bugging me. She is telling me I need to close out the account and that she wanted 5 stars. And that irritated me.

I'm not gonna use AmeriFreight again. It's not worth it. And then this must be a new thing with AmeriFreight, they take the credit card. Because with Chris before, I did not give a down payment. And then I gave the driver the money and that was that. I never gave a credit card in the past. I definitely wouldn't recommend AmeriFreight.

I needed to get my son his car. He’s in the military and the car was here. We did a lot of research and AmeriFreight was highly recommended on the internet. I checked with a couple of other people and AmeriFreight came up with not the best rate but a good one. We went ahead and started talking to Rick and everything turned out great. I got a hold of the organizer after Rick said to contact with them. They came over early, before the date that we talked about and took possession of the vehicle and got it to us in Texas a few days early.

I was a little leery not knowing exactly what was going on as it was the first time I'm doing this, but it turned out good. When the car got there they unloaded it. Of course, due to the weather and the road conditions it was dirty. We didn’t have the chance to get it cleaned and inspected, but it seems like everything turned out fine. My son was happy and drove it from where we had it dropped off back to his next station. I was impressed with Rick and the company that AmeriFreight had us hooked up with. It was a really good experience all the way around.

I had a car from my job and I bought a new one while I was there. I needed to send it home so I'd have something to drive there, and AmeriFreight's offer was about $300 off. I understood the process. I was in a rural area, so it's not surprising that getting somebody to come down and get the vehicle would've cost more. I had four offers. I didn't entertain any of the others because the rep I dealt with at AmeriFreight was so good, and I liked her. The offer was probably in line with everybody else, and I didn't have a problem with it. The rep told me that the deal was upfront, and I always had the option not to take it. She always called me back promptly, answered all my questions, and did a good job. A guy came and picked the car up early and got it home in less than 54 hours. The service was fine. I didn't have any problem with it.

However, there was an issue understanding that my wife was getting on a plane on Friday. The company that hauled the car picked it up on Tuesday night, but agreed that if they couldn't get it to us before she had to go to the airport, they would hold it over the weekend and bring it once she got back. The company which got the car was local which is why that wasn't a problem. The guy that came and got it was really nice. The whole thing was a lot more expensive than it has been in the past, but it was like that with everybody I talked to.

We were moving from New York to Las Vegas and since nobody was taking up my car, Jeff, their sales rep bumped the price. He was so professional and on top of it. That got my car out and it went fast after that. I thought they were gonna be like the other company, but I was happy that Jeff called and got everything taken care of that same day even though he said he was gonna get back to me the next day. I shipped two cars and the first car came the day that it was supposed to come. I bought a vehicle down in Florida and I need to ship it up to me. I found AmeriFreight had good prices and manage to have very good insurance options. I definitely like the after the fact insurance. Then what I actually did, which was really nice of the representative, is I took advantage of getting a free quote on both sides. One for covered and also one for uncovered because the actual quote for the uncovered that I got originally was a lot lower than I had anticipated. I'd originally booked another quote from them a couple of weeks ago for a different vehicle and it was almost half the cost so that's why I went ahead and went with the covered after that. I was able to see the differences between the covered and the uncovered and I noticed that the covered for the vehicle was about equal to uncovered for the other vehicle.

I received the first quote on a Wednesday then it took them to the following Monday to get back in touch. Once we had all the payments taken cared of, a couple of days later they picked up the vehicle and by the next Saturday I had the vehicle. I got it all set up beforehand so I didn't really talk too much with the transport organizer. Then I got all the payment taken cared of and didn't have to really worry about the insurance. The vehicle arrived in great shape and it was great talking with the delivery driver who keep losing the same area as me. He knew the area really well and he understood where has was going to be delivering it to. Overall, it was an easy, smooth service and I enjoyed it a lot.

I sold the car and I wanted it shipped from Michigan to Texas. I did a Google search for best transport companies, and AmeriFreight were in the top five, and they started off with the best rates that were pretty accurate. The transport organizer got back to me when necessary and dealing with her and AmeriFreight was fine. Dealing with the transport driver who picked it up was a different story. The driver was supposed to pick the car on a Tuesday and he never did. When I called the transport organizer, she called the driver and the driver told her, “I can't get it today. I'll be able to maybe do it on Thursday.” And he never got it until Friday. I never communicated with him until he called me when he was an hour away from here four days later than originally scheduled.

The drop-off was a mess too. The driver said he'd have the car sent by Saturday and then there was no communication on that day. He called on Sunday at 2:00 PM and told me he was about 30 minutes away. He called back at 5:00 and said he should be there within the hour, and then showed up at 9:00 PM. The process took almost a week. It was supposed to be on a Tuesday and they didn’t it get there until Sunday. So the whole problem was that they wouldn't tell you the truth and tell you things to keep you happy during the conversation. I've shipped and received cars before and I know it's pretty much on the driver, and you expect the unexpected. You should be happier in the end.

Our son accepted a job in Scottsdale, Arizona and we live in Louisville, Kentucky and we thought it was too long of a distance to cover. It would have been at least a two-day drive, 27 hours, and also, we did not want to put that many miles on his car. It was the one that we got him in high school, a 2007, and he's not ready to buy another car yet so we shipped it. AmeriFreight was unbelievably wonderful. I had so many questions and I had never done anything like it before. I didn't really know anything and my agent took so much time with me and patiently answered my questions time and again. Everything went smoothly and it could not have gone any better from beginning to end.

I had done quite a bit of research on the internet and to me, AmeriFreight stood out above the rest as far as customer satisfaction and pricing. I ended up paying $150 more than the quote that I got. But I was told right off the bat that the free quote I had received was low. The agent said she would do the best that she could to get me a fair price and I was really concerned it will be even more than that but it wasn't. Everything was a plus and I was kept in the loop from beginning to end. The driver was in contact with me the night before he was going to come in the morning to come to pick up the car. Then the person who was at the other end in Arizona called me to verify when they wanted the car. It was really wonderful and I can't say anything bad.

The process from beginning to end was five days and in the expected timeframe. We even had to hold AmeriFreight off a little bit because we didn't have anybody in Scottsdale yet to receive the car. It was delivered on my soonest date wanted which is August 25th and I was pleasantly surprised but they could have done sooner. It was on a wing and a prayer that we did all this. We asked them if they could go to a location we thought was good and someone we knew there would meet the car. They were wonderful and couldn't have been more amenable to help us get the car. They were in contact with us and the person we asked them to contact. They arrived early there and the driver made our friend walk around and look at everything and make sure that the car was satisfactory and that it was delivered in pretty much the same shape it was picked up. It was a great experience.

I don’t know why, but it wasn’t like the end of the world. They did say 10 days, so I always assumed the worst.

The staff and the guy that drove the vehicle were very nice and professional. The only gripe I had was that there was little teeny chips in the windshield and in the front of the car. Next time, I'll probably use the in-the-box one. Other than that, service was friendly. It felt okay calling them. And they treated you like they were gonna help one of their buddies out, so I can’t complain.

I was moving across the country and got AmeriFreight to ship my vehicle because they were convenient, straightforward, friendly, and patient, and they weren't too pushy compared to a lot of other people. I availed of their free quote option. They tried to put in a lower bid and worked it off based on where I stood. So, that was a pretty convenient option, especially if I had it one more time. A lot of other people just give me one, and that would lock in regardless. So, I like that they try to work with me on that. The quote they gave me turned out to be pretty accurate in the end. For the most part, I had fairly short, concise, and standard interactions with the transport organizer. There was no hassle and no arguing. In contrast, I had one person yell at me at another company.

I'd already flown out when the carrier driver came for the pickup. The delivery was simple. The carrier driver pulled up, dropped the car off, had me sign two pieces of paper, then I gave him the money. The whole process took a bit longer than a week and half. They were upfront about the whole bidding process and how they operated. Eventually, I wanted my car sooner, so I told them to raise the bid, and that was about a week. But once I upped the bid to the final amount, they had to carry it out within a day. Then, from there, it was four or five days. They told me six days max, so their estimate was fairly accurate. When my vehicle arrived, it was in the same condition that it left in, although it was a little dustier. The company was easy to work with, and their employees were honest, and that helps a lot. It was good service.

I needed to ship my vehicle from California to Virginia and the quote I got from AmeriFreight was the best. I had a great communication with the organizer. She informed me when there was a driver available. It was great all the way until we got the carrier. When they weren't meeting their end, that’s when my experience went downhill.

I and my roommate's in the military and we don’t have a very flexible schedule and I expressed my concerns to the carrier all the way from the pickup to the time that they were dropping it off. We had a verbal agreement to get it dropped off at a certain time yet we didn’t get a callback saying that they will not be able to make it. There was a lack of communication on the carrier's end. And if AmeriFreight does not fix that, we would not recommend them to our friends, coworkers, or anybody else. They're the one who finds the carrier and I addressed the concern after I received the vehicle. They told me that they're not going to use this carrier again. In the end, we were very angry.

The rep gave me a free quote at $1,400 for both vehicles and in some companies, that would pay just one vehicle. She gave me a quote a couple of days after and it was about $100 cheaper. However, the timeframe that I needed for the vehicle to be picked up didn’t match that particular timeframe, so we had to do it again. The new quote had a $200-$300 jump but I didn’t mind because the company that was hired had 5 stars and they received great reviews. She was very courteous and on top of things. She was always keeping in contact with me.

Then the driver came in and took inventory of our stuff. We spoke with him for a bit and he was nice. Then he told us what the procedure was going to be for us to have the vehicle picked up and when it'll be dropped off. They were really good about that and the turnaround was quick at two days max. The car came in the same condition as it was when it left Colorado and when it arrived in South Carolina, so I was pleased.

I got bombarded with phone calls and there were definitely some that were fraudulent. That's when I decided to go with Consumer Reports with the higher ratings. I was happy with the quote from AmeriFreight. It was in the ballpark of what I had expected because I had done some research prior to contacting them. My daughter was moving to Nevada and we decided to ship one of our cars to her so she doesn’t have to buy one. We signed up with another company, but they completely dropped the ball on that. A week before the move date, the car was still in the driveway and that’s when I found AmeriFreight. The price was very competitive, even when they had to raise it a little. Ali helped me a lot and kept me posted with all the progress on the order. When the transport was available, she contacted me right away so we made the arrangements.

The driver called us a day before he was going to be in Dayton, Nevada. The day he came, he called us 40 minutes before he was going to be at the destination. We rerouted the driver to a friend of ours and she had no problems with him. The driver had a little problem going into the development, though, because the streets were a little narrow. The car came in the same shape that it was shipped. There were no scratches, no dents, no damages. Everything in the car was intact and the driver was very courteous and very nice.

The car was delivered exactly at the expected time too. I contacted AmeriFreight a week before the move and it took about two weeks to ship the car. It took five days to take the car from New Jersey to Nevada which was what the driver promised. AmeriFreight is a great company with very good customer service. They made this car transfer pain-free. If I have to ship another car, I would deal only with them again and I would recommend them to all my friends.

Their initial quote was not the same as what I actually paid because I didn’t book the service until several weeks later. I was told the original quote was lower than what I was charged at the time that I booked which was the peak period because of the location that I was headed. I got a notice from the driver of the time that he was coming. He showed up on time, took the photos and had the paperwork. It was picked up at 2 pm on a Friday and I got my car on Monday at 10 am and it’s running fine. Overall, it was a professional experience. My youngest son was going back to school at Arizona State and so we needed to get his car from Florida to ASU. I did a lot of research and had a few bad experiences in some of the initial calls and ultimately, I started reading Consumer Reports and several other places. AmeriFreight happened to be the ones that seem to get some of the best ratings, so I called them and had a great experience with them. Their free quote option was a little higher than some of the others I had gotten, but I felt good with the price and based on the service I got, it was well worth it.

The transport organizer Ali was absolutely incredible. She's very honest. On the phone, she came across as very knowledgeable about what she was doing. I got a real sense from her that she understood the industry and the business and that made me feel really comfortable. At one point, I told her I needed to cancel the contract which I knew I was going to lose my deposit and I was fine with that. She said she understood and hung up the phone. I called her back within 45 minutes because we had another change and I wanted to keep the contract again. She hung up on me, called me right back and got it taken care of. It was that same afternoon, and she was absolutely awesome. And after everything was done, she called me and wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the experience, which I felt was great customer follow up from AmeriFreight.

The guy from AmeriFreight that picked up the car was really nice too. He was driving in from Tallahassee and he called me three or four times, always letting me know where he was. He got close to our house within 10 minutes of when he said he would be there. I drove the Jeep over and met him at a place that was easier for him to load it on the truck without trying to get through our neighborhood. He was very professional. He picked up the car that evening and told me where he was going to spend the night and told me he would call me the next day and keep me posted on his delivery times, which he did. He called me to let me know that he had gotten my son on the phone and was getting ready to meet him. He was awesome, as well.

I was relocating about 2,000 miles. AmeriFreight' s quote seemed competitive to what I received from other folks. I initially spoke to the organizer a month ahead of the move date. He went over the process with me as far as how the brokering works, the way that the bid was put out, and the mechanics of it from a business standpoint. He said that based on the vehicle size and general information I provided, we're looking for this number of parts whether the various carriers had room for it or whether it'd fit in with the schedule if someone would accept a lower bid. If not, as we got closer to the date, they would raise the bid until it was picked up.

He told me that month’s time was more than enough wait time, which was fine. We scheduled a pickup date a few days early, but it seemed that the bid went up early on. I don't know if that was to avoid missing the date trying to hold out for someone to get in for a little price, but whatever it was, at the end of the day, it came to about $200 on top of what was quoted.

The day of pickup was fine. The driver was very courteous. The date of delivery, on the other hand, was not quite as smooth. The carrier's supervisor contacted me before pickup and asked if I could help him out and meet up a day early. So we loaded the car about 11:00 at night. And it's understandable going that kind of distance when you're dealing with multiple variables like moving parts, multiple cars and customers. I was already down here for a couple days before the car showed up. My significant other and I both spoke to the driver on the phone on separate occasions. We're about three hours south of Dallas and he was coming through that way, so we told him to be in touch with us and to make sure that one of us would be home to take the delivery. He said he'll be giving us a call when he's leaving Dallas.

I got a phone call when he was driving through Killeen, which is only about 30 minutes out. Neither of us has self-service at that particular time, so we got back to the service area and got a voicemail from him saying if we're not there, he's going to drive down to San Antonio and we'd have to pick the vehicle up which was not what we have discussed. So I called him back, texted him, and got nothing. I called a hundred numbers on the paperwork. I eventually spoke with the owner, and he was able to give me the guy’s GPS coordinates.

We went and tracked him down in a fast-food parking lot, and he was asleep in the truck. I unloaded the vehicle much to his chagrin and he was not thrilled about it. We parted ways and that was the end of it, but it was a bittersweet end to what had been relatively painless. The whole process took six days. Initially, the driver was talking about three to four. He mentioned that he was doing some deliveries with dealerships and they don’t always stick to the tightest time frame.

There was one teeny-tiny mark on the bumper. I didn’t notice at the time I picked up the truck and it's not worth fighting over. But other than that, it was fine. No dents, dings and there's nothing missing. Overall, no real complaints. Only that the guy gave me a bit of an attitude. He might have realized that he screwed up and tried to cover that by acting annoyed at me. I'm not terribly disappointed but not blown away either.

We were shipping a car back to my daughter at school. AmeriFreight popped up during my search and initially, it looked like it was a reasonable rate. However, the rate they published online wasn’t anywhere near what it would really cost. It was significantly higher and a little misleading. They gave me the same mumbo-jumbo that they put the price out to bid and it depended on needs and whether or not there was somebody going out, all the typical stuff that comes with shipping. I’ve shipped a couple of cars so it’s always going through these third-party brokers and it’s the same process they all use.

The driver was great. Multiple people appeared to be involved in the process and I didn’t know who AmeriFreight dealt with. The person referred me to another dispatcher who then referred me to the driver. When I got a hold of the driver, he was easy to work with. The whole process took about a little less than a week. The guy worked well and told us he might be able to get the car there on a Sunday, but more likely a Monday. Sunday worked better for us so he made the effort and did end up getting it there by 10 p.m.

My daughter was on the receiving end and she said everything was fine. Everything that we put in the car was still in there. As a consumer, I wish there was a way to deal with the driver directly so they could get more of the money. AmeriFreight I think took $300 of the total just for being the guy that posts something on the internet for people to bid on.

I had an old car and wanted to give it back to my sister who lived in Oregon. I read the reviews on AmeriFreight and it sold me on using them. They seemed reasonable and the rate sounded good but it was just to get me hooked on going with them and then I would pay the same as I’d pay anybody else. I’m not disappointed by that though. When I filled out the form online, I didn’t even know if they got it and were working on it. I wasn’t getting any feedback from the original person I talked to for 2 weeks. So I didn’t even know my paperwork went through. I had to call them to ask what's going on and if they got my paperwork and they told me they got it. I would’ve liked to have seen a little bit more communication right off the bat.

Then they put some manager in charge. We raised the price up because he thought it was low just like they’d told me. I said, “Okay. That sounds pretty good. I’ll go up $100, $200 from that and it’s still below what the other competitors were.” But as it turned out, it went above that but I didn’t see my car moving at all so I contacted them again. They said that maybe my bid was a little low so they re-bid it pretty much to what the rest of the people were charging. So if I would do it all over again, I don’t know if it made a big difference. Now, I just want to get rid of the car so I didn’t care at that point so that part disappointed me. But after that, somebody picked it up pretty fast. So I was happy about that part.

The driver was very nice and courteous. I had to bring my car out of the neighborhood which was no big deal because I know other car transports that I had in here couldn’t make it into the neighborhood but I had no problem driving the car out to him. I was very happy with him. The car was delivered about a week since the beginning and it's within the time frame that I had expected. The car arrived with my muffler falling off but it's an old car and it pretty much could've been rusting off. Overall, I was happy with my experience.

He had the other person waiting at length for a day, and then called and said he’d be there first thing in the morning and didn’t arrive until 4:00 in the afternoon.

The same thing happened on the other end. The builder that’s building my home was accepting the car at his office. It had to be on a business day and between certain hours, and they said it was going to be there. On the first day, they said they were coming in, it didn’t happen. I called them and they said they’re having trouble getting there. And then on the second day, they said it was going to be the first car dropped, but it wasn’t. They called me at 5:00 when the business was closing down and said they were just around the corner. It was an hour and a half later that the business owner sat and waited for the car. It was not a good experience with the delivery process. What they do is sub the job out. I found out that they call and put it out for a bid, so the cheapest guy is to deliver. The process did not work out well because of the carrier.

I was moving out of state and AmeriFreight was the only one that responded when I sent out my need for shipping my vehicle. I took advantage of their free quote option. The only thing was that the actual cost for shipping came up to be 25 bucks more expensive than the quoted price. But that was fine. The transport organizer was great overall. She explained the process very well and overall I'm satisfied. The carrier driver was super cool - he was a funny guy. All in all, the process took about one week from pickup to delivery, just as they told me it would be.

She checked in on everything and called me before and after the shipping to make sure it went smoothly. The carrier driver was fine too. However, he kept on counting the money wrong and then telling me that it was short, so that was weird. Then he finally realized that he was wrong. So that took a little longer than expected. The process from beginning to end took about eight days but it was within the expected timeframe.

I bought a car from a dealer in Houston, Texas and I have it shipped to California. I shipped with other companies before but I was open to try somebody new, so I checked BBB and ConsumerAffairs and AmeriFreight had good ratings. I got their free quote and I expected it to be low but I wasn't surprised when the actual quote came in after AmeriFreight looked for shippers and it was a little bit higher. The transport organizer Rick was great, very informative, and patient. I was very pleased.

Moreover, the carrier driver and I were communicating back and forth via text. He was telling me where he was and we could schedule for the delivery time. He was very informative, friendly, open, efficient, easy to get to respond and no delay. I felt very comfortable and a hundred percent in control all the time. It was a Friday afternoon, so there's northbound traffic out of LA. I think he's stuck in traffic which I knew he would, so I wasn't surprised with that. But we kept communicating, so I knew what the schedule was. Then I met him at a location near the house because he couldn't pull up the street. The car was in perfect shape. They left Houston on Tuesday and they were here on Friday.

My father used AmeriFreight before and everything went perfectly for him. He was very happy. So when I needed to ship my vehicle from Seattle to Dallas at the end of the summer, he referred me to AmeriFreight. They gave a very good quote for free. Unfortunately, when they were going out to get the carrier, the price ended up being much higher but still within the range I allowed from the quote. Their transport organizer was great. We have good and open lines of communication. However, I couldn't get into contact with the the first person I was paired with. There might’ve been something wrong with the email system and whenever I tried calling, he wasn’t in the office and then he’d call back. Then I got switched to another rep and she was fantastic.

On the day of delivery, their driver texted and called me to give me his estimated time of arrival in Dallas and asked when and where I wanted the car to be dropped off. We worked it out with his other drop offs and there was a bit of communication back and forth figuring out the exact time. We found a place really close to my house to drop it off and we found a time that worked for both of us. So it was great. The driver was fantastic and a very nice man. The car arrived in perfect condition. Overall, it’s very convenient and they were very good. They made everything as seamless as possible and paired me up with a really good carrier.

I had to get my vehicle from Washington to Michigan. I found AmeriFreight on the website and they had good reviews so I chose them. They were the ones who found the trucking company and they were the only ones who were willing to come to Mio, Michigan. Their transport organizer did a good job. The driver though was a different story. I wasn’t there for pick up because I had already left town so a co-worker took care of it, but that went smoothly. However, I had a CB antenna on top of my truck and the driver said he forgot to take it off and he went under the tunnel and ripped it off. The Pace that the antenna was clung to, which is a heavy magnet attached to a cable that hooks into my CB inside my truck, he left that dangling on the side of my truck which scuffed the outside of my truck while going through many states. So that didn’t make me happy.

I found out about it when it was delivered. The driver said he had one problem and I looked up and my antenna’s gone. He didn’t tell me about the scuff marks. So, I walked around my truck and did an inspection and I saw it. The wind was pushing it back and forth and rubbing up against the paint. So it took off a nice little strip of paint there. Really, it was just minor but I probably wouldn’t use that particular driver again. I got estimates from local body shops here and that’s what I sent when I filed a claim with the company and they paid me quickly. They didn’t question it. So the owners did a really good job. They were really responsive to my claim and were really friendly. Overall, AmeriFreight did a great job.

But when I gave him a number, he said it's not going to work and said he'll give it a try but he came back with the same number that he initially gave me. So it really wasn't a negotiation process. I was also disappointed with their transport organizer because I felt like they're coercing me into buying their extra insurance policy. Now, I felt like I bought insurance that wasn't even necessary. Nevertheless, their driver was absolutely wonderful. He was a nice guy and I trust him. Our son recently moved to Scottsdale, AZ, from Louisville, KY, for a new job. After researching auto carriers, AmeriFreight stood out as one of the best. Ali ** of Amerifreight spent quite a bit of time with me explaining the process and assuring me that the car would make it safely on the day we needed it to arrive, if not before. It seems like standard procedure for the final part of the transaction to be paid in cash to the driver and that went off without a hitch. Our driver walked around the car with us on pick-up and delivery to mark any dents or scratches on the vehicle before it left Kentucky, as well as note the mileage in case anyone was concerned. (The car was a 2007 so there were a few marks to start but absolutely no change on delivery.) Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end was pleasant, professional and extremely accommodating. When the pickup was supposed to show up, all of a sudden it's an extra $280 on top of that guaranteed price and they wouldn't ship the car unless I paid that $280. Also, I know that we live in the United States and we have the 2nd Amendment but it seems kind of weird to me that the carrier driver gets out with a gun strapped to his side. It was not so much of an issue on my end but the people that I was having the car delivered to were a little freaked out with the situation. It just didn't come across as professional. Their transport organizer walked me through the process. But they usually don’t book the bid with the trucker until the week before the transport. He then gave me a date that he was going to follow up with me, but I never heard back from him. I did multiple follow ups with him but never heard back. I got lost in the mix and had to be re-setup with a new agent. I had to reach out to the company directly and someone else was assigned.

As for the carrier driver, he was excellent. He was found the day of the delivery, though. It took two days for him to drive cross-country and drop off the cars to the location. I was very impressed with him. Although because of what happened to the original agent, whether it be resignation or something, it caused us a lot of angst. We can’t leave our car behind and we were waiting for that to get secured. The last minute dynamic was concerning but in the end, AmeriFreight came through and met the commitment.

We're moving, and this is my first time to ship my car from one state to another. I didn't have any prior experience with this, so I went online and looked for reviews of broker companies, and AmeriFreight came out among the top. They were accredited and had a lot of good reviews. So, I went to their website, to see how easy it was going to be for me to get my quote. Other broker company websites give you the quote directly. Although this approach seems very straightforward, I didn't like and trust it.

At least, AmeriFreight really took time and their rep called me. We talked and the transport of our car was easy to set up. My transport organizer was really nice. She has been calling, following up, and making sure that we were taken care of. Even when she was not around, she gave me another person's phone number or another person to contact in case something went wrong.

We did have an issue with our driver. It wasn't a big deal, but we’re not used to what transpired with him. We were running out of time in our transport schedule. We were informed initially that the driver would be picking up our car in the afternoon. But then suddenly the driver texted us to say, "I’m still driving," and he wanted to pick up our car at around 11:30 PM to midnight. But we have a baby, would already be in bed by that time, and had to work the next day, so we said, "Can you pick it up tomorrow instead?" But the driver said, “I'm not gonna pick it up at all," if we could not agree to the pickup time he gave. So, it was like, take it or leave it.

We were already halfway through the process, and leaving a week after to move, so we really needed our car already shipped out. So, my husband and I consented to wait for him to come at the pickup time he indicated. Before he came, I told the driver, "This is really late, so please come as soon as you can." Eventually, he came between 10:30 to 11 PM. It was pretty late to pick up a car, but he did pick it up.

I don't mind if it's in the evening that he picked up the car, as long as it wasn’t that late. If he wanted to pick up at 6 or 7 PM, that would still have been okay because that's dinnertime and we're still awake by then. But I wasn't happy about his picking up so late. I told AmeriFreight about this and they were they were courteous about it. They were really nice to acknowledge that this should not happen, and that they will correct this and talk to the driver.

It took longer than we thought for AmeriFreight to ship the vehicle. We moved to New Jersey and the driver said, "I'm gonna be in New Jersey on Sunday." We were flying on Tuesday, so we couldn't receive the car on that day. So, we said we would wait for him whenever he would be out there again. He said, "I'll be out again and be around the New Jersey area around Thursday to Saturday." So, we rented a car while our car had not yet been delivered.

Then I texted the driver again on Saturday, "Where are you? Otherwise, I won't have a vehicle." He said, "I’m not gonna be there till Sunday or Monday.” I told him, “Can you give me an estimate of when you’re gonna be here? Because I need to let Enterprise know when I’m gonna return the rental car.” But he said, “No. I can’t do that.” So, I just estimated that we would allow another two to three days till he arrives, and I rented a car until Wednesday.

Then the driver texted me, “I’ll be there on Tuesday.” He came on Tuesday night, at 9 PM. He was not a professional, and that was the problem. I told this to AmeriFreight and they’re going to look into it. I’m just happy that all that is over. Our vehicle was fine when it finally arrived. The problem was just in the timing of our car’s transport and in our dealings with the driver on when he was picking up our car and when he was delivering it. Otherwise, it was fine with AmeriFreight and I'll highly recommend them.

My dad owned an SUV in New York and when he passed away, I decided to transfer it to Texas. I was a bit apprehensive about going with a carrier to begin with. But because of the distance involved, I didn’t want to drive the car for 1700 miles. I needed to get a carrier to move the car so I started doing some research and AmeriFreight seemed to be one of the ones that had good ratings and reviews so I went with them. They sent me the paperwork via email and it was very straightforward. I’ve reviewed all of the requirements that they had. Rick was the rep I dealt with, but when I couldn’t find him, someone else picked up the phone, relayed the message and I got a callback at some point. It was a good experience. Once they found a carrier, they put me in touch with the folks that were in charge of picking up my car. They set up the appointment. The SUV was picked up and delivered on-time. It was effectively flawless.

The quote was effectively on-target too. I was given an estimate of $900 which was the same as the quote from the actual carrier company and that pleased me. I also chose to buy insurance. The driver called me the day of the pickup and he told me that he was going to be there within a three-hour window. He called me up and he told me he was going to be there within a certain time. In fact, he was a bit early.

The only dislike was I couldn’t get a carrier way in advance and I was going to chalk that up to the nature of what I was trying to move. But I understand AmeriFreight is a middleman and they have to deal with carriers and the other ones that are doing the work. This was my first experience and I would do business with them again. I wouldn’t go through the hassle of trying to find someone else.

I chose to leave them a review online because it’s important for others to learn that there are people out there that are reputable and will do the right thing, while there people that are so-so. It’s something that people are nervous about, especially having to transport a personal item like a vehicle. It’s good to let others know who are the ones that will do a good job or who are the other ones that are maybe not as good. I would definitely recommend AmeriFreight.

However, we had to go up $200 for the carrier because the car needed some fast delivery. The transport organizer was awesome and helped me a lot. She's always in very good contact with me, calling every two or three days, making sure that everything was going well and telling me what's the situation and what was the status of the carrier. She also called me two times for other options available but at the time it was too much money so I didn't opt for any of that.

The driver himself wasn't that good because he told me he was going to deliver Monday then he said it'd be Tuesday. We also decided to meet at 2:00 p.m. then he said it'll be at 8:00 a.m. I couldn't make it at that time so I told him we were going to do it in the afternoon. And he showed up at 5:00. He texted me about it but he said he'll meet me from 2:00 to 5:00. It was three hours and that's a long day for me. Also, he should've called me a lot sooner about it because I needed a way of getting to where he was since I didn't have a car and the person who was taking me over there had to ask a whole day off because of him. So the carrier was a little weird but I understand they had other deliveries to do. It's not AmeriFreight's fault by any chance. The transport organizer was really personable and explained things relatively well. She was pretty good at answering questions. However, I didn't fully understand all the steps and everything that needed to take place in working with a broker versus actually working directly with a shipper. A little bit more upfront explanation would've been beneficial for me. They also shoot me an email when a shipping time came available and I had to respond to get that time slot. I didn't like that because it's like they assume I'm checking my email every second of the day, which is not the case for most people. I would've preferred a phone call for that stuff.

One of the shippers also cancelled on me and I didn't even know until they were supposed to pick the vehicle up on a weekend. The shipper never called to let me know they cancelled. AmeriFreight didn't let me know either until I called on Monday morning. I don't know if it was just them trying to figure out everything that was going on, but I didn't like it too. But other than that, it honestly was a pretty good experience. My interaction with the shipper once I got one lined out was pretty short and sweet. Everything went well. I read the reviews and spoke to AmeriFreight's representative, Rick who instilled more confidence in me about the company's track record and their utilization of drivers with exceptional track record. The quote they gave me was a little high so I called back and renegotiated the quote. Their transport organizer gave me his cellphone number. Every time I called however, he never answered so I had to call a backup person and try to find out information.

I gave the drivers very specific guidelines of when I needed the vehicle picked up and dropped off. I was assured that the vehicle would have no less than a two-day window; however, that did not happen. As a result, I was not able to be at my house for the vehicle to be dropped off. I had to have my brother-in-law come and take the delivery of the vehicle. Upon initial pick-up, my uncle said that the driver seemed very nice. That's the only positive I have, everything else never came through.

Upon delivery, the driver stated that my vehicle would not run and that it was leaking transmission fluid. The car never leaked any type of fluid and was able to be driven perfectly unto the carrier before it was loaded into his trailer. I came to find out that the driver pulled apart the trans cooler lines. That's what I think caused five quarts of transmission fluid to leak out. My brother-in-law then had to push the vehicle off the trailer because the driver stated that he was not going to take it out of the trailer and he was going to take it to a tow yard for me to pick up. I was not very happy with that. It was also unprofessional of the driver to ask my brother-in-law to pay them an extra $100 or $200 to clean up the mess of the transmission fluid. I left a message with Rick on his cellphone about the transmission issue, but never received a phone call. I figured AmeriFreight got my money and they're done with me.

AmeriFreight had the lowest quote when I searched online. The organizer was really helpful. I didn’t have any problems arise during the course of the transaction, so everything went really well. On the day of delivery, the driver was professional. The process took about a week and was a little bit late because they ran into some truck problems on the pickup and then I was out of town on the scheduled delivery, so things went a little bit long. But overall, I’m fine with it. Everything was pretty straightforward and was what I was expecting.

I was relocating and AmeriFreight had one of the higher ratings among all the transport companies. I got their free quote option and the people that I talked to were very helpful. They were really quick in being able to get my car shipped. We thought it could take up to two weeks, but he got me something within a couple of days and that was good because we really needed it done then. The carrier driver was very kind, polite and professional. He just gave me my car and went. The entire process, from beginning to end, took exactly five days. Things went super smooth and I would definitely use AmeriFreight if I had to.

I’ve dealt with AmeriFreight in the past and I've had the best experience with them of the four or five times I’ve shipped vehicles. I used them to ship my car to my brother, who just finished his deployment to Korea, and is on his way back, so he needed a vehicle before his truck from Korea had gotten in. I talked to the transport organizer through emails, phone calls, and through communication on a weekly basis to see where we’re at with finding a driver, their rating, and feedback from that. The whole process took about four days, and when the vehicle arrived, it was enclosed, which was awesome. We went over the vehicle pictures and what was wrong with it, and it looked good. It arrived in the same condition.
