My son was moving back to his home state so the car needed to be shipped from California to Florida. We had offers from other companies but we chose AmeriFreight as they had very good reviews and their rep was very professional right away and we were given a quote. We could tell the difference 'cause we had a different company last year and it was a nightmare. But the person at AmeriFreight was very professional and didn't make things up. He was true to the facts what he had told me and was very assuring.

I was shipping a vehicle to my daughter in college. She had to go back in January, and I wasn't going to let her drive over the rocky mountains. And since I had a friend that used AmeriFreight, I decided to use them too. The quote they gave me was a little low for the circumstances and it was a little unrealistic for the time of year and the weather because my price was ultimately much higher. But the pickup was easy and well-explained online. The driver was very nice and accommodating, although he was late getting here. Not entirely his fault, but he could have called and said he was going to be as late as he was. He did wait for my daughter to get out of class, so all in all, it was fairly good.

When I had to ship a car from Florida to Minnesota, we found AmeriFreight. And because they were the highest rated shipping company, we chose to go with them. They gave me a fair quote and everything worked like it was supposed to.

My husband liked the quote he got from AmeriFreight. We've used the company twice. One was because we're moving from California to Virginia. The second time, we shipped the car back to the dealer because there was something wrong with the car. Everybody was nice during the first time but the communication was lacking. The girl who was calling on behalf of the driver rescheduled our drop-off three times. Originally, the driver was supposed to drop our car off in the morning but we ended up not getting it until 10:30 PM that night so we had to reschedule several times throughout the day to accommodate him. That was frustrating.

I moved to California and needed my car shipped over here. So I checked online reviews and found Amerifreight has good reviews. I then decided to go with them. I did call other companies before them, but the quote given by Amerifreight was competitive. It might have been higher than some of the other ones, but it's more secure. I don't mind paying a little bit more as long as I know I'm going to get the car in good condition. Their rep was nice, gave me all the information I needed and she was available when I called back. If I had any questions, she would answer them for me. So it went out good. The carrier driver was good too and it was a plus that she spoke my native language. The process was fast and easy, and I appreciate that.

Mostly because of their reviews, I decided to go with AmeriFreight. Their transport organizer was great and the car came in good condition. I read that sometimes stuff get stolen and I even put things in the back. But everything was there and that was fine. They were great and I had no issues. I would use them again.

I was looking online and AmeriFreight showed that they had a good service so I decided to try them and it worked out perfectly. I called, got a quote, then I told the rep that I would call her back after I talked to my husband. I called her back and told her that we wanted to go through with them. Within three days they had somebody for the move and the car got there in four days, which is great. The carrier driver gave me his phone number so I could call him anytime if I was worried, where they were at or where I could keep track of them. He was really nice and took good care of the car. When my son received the car, he called me and told me he had received it and everything was fine and there was no damage.

A relative's car was being given to me and I didn't feel like driving my car down with somebody. And by the time I drove down to South Carolina from Ohio, I brought another person, bought food, gas and everything. I looked at AmeriFreight online and they were rated fairly high so I went with them. I explained to their rep when I set the shipping up that I work night. I don't have a phone by me 'cause I'm not going to have anybody wake me up. And it ended up being my day off when it was going to be delivered. And so, they called and I went over to the spot to meet him so it was easy for him.

AmeriFreight took care of shipping my car when I was moving across the country and it went mostly as planned. The carrier driver was supposed to call me before he got to the pickup location but he didn't so that was quite a problem. Other than that, from the time he picked up the vehicle until the end, it went very smoothly and it was fine.

However, the free quote that they gave was a little low by about $300-$400 from what I paid. Also, they couldn't get any driver so it took them a while to find one. Nonetheless, the day we dropped the car off, the driver was good.

It took a little longer to get a driver to take our load because there were two vehicles going out to its location. But everything went fine with AmeriFreight.

He emailed me, he didn't have to make phone calls, which was really fast and convenient. When I got it delivered, the driver was sleeping so I had to wake him up. So it took a little longer than I expected. But I get it, he drove all night and it was fine.

AmeriFreight helped me out of a tough situation. When I was shipping my car from Texas to Massachusetts, I initially scheduled with another company, but they never set up the actual move. So for weeks, I was waiting for them to get me my car. But no one was picking the car up because the company low-balled the quote really badly. They quoted me $850 and the carriers knew that they will not get the money they should be getting. Eventually, my dad and I started calling other places and he came across AmeriFreight. I ended up paying AmeriFreight $1,100. The AmeriFreight rep explained to me and my dad that it was a reasonable price. Also, that was about what everyone else quoted so it was fine. We then got everything set up and they have my car shipped to me within a week. It was a lot easier than what I have been dealing with.

I was happy with the service provided by AmeriFreight. They were the ones that showed up available and responded when I contacted them. However, it ended up costing a bit more than the initial quote but that was not necessarily their fault in that respect. I got my car in good condition and I was satisfied with what AmeriFreight did. However, I had said that I would do a survey response and filled out all the answers and got to “Submit it” and it would not take it because I didn’t have a 200-plus word. That is ludicrous. They might want to take a look at that.

AmeriFreight gave me the best offer so I chose to deal with them. But they were late. I had to call the company two or three times because they weren't giving me any updates. The time and delivery date came and they didn't deliver and there was no communication. I called the operator and then the driver called me and said that the truck fell down or something. The car got there and it was fine, but three days late.

I needed a Mustang shipped from Oklahoma to Colorado as it didn't run. The first quote I got was for a two-week out shipping which was in line with everything else. Then I had a last-minute change in schedule so I called a few companies and most of them couldn't even set up anything in that time period. But AmeriFreight seemed to be the quickest in responding out of anybody. I had to pay more for the rush but it was worth it. They got good reviews overall online and their people seemed easy to work with as well.

I had set up a time frame for my car to be picked up and didn’t realize that the bids were open on the day that I gave them the okay. So, my car had not been picked up for another week after the original date I set. I moved and left everything, and I had to leave my car with a family member. When they were dropping my car off in Sacramento area, they told me they were gonna be there that day. I called them and they told me that they were actually in L.A., which is seven hours away from where I am. They said, “Oh, we didn’t realize Los Angeles was not by Sacramento.” And I replied, “Well, you should’ve looked at a map or something before you told me you're gonna be here today.”

I chose AmeriFreight because of the Better Business Bureau rating. The transport organizer was great and prompt. Whenever I call, they return my calls. Also, the carrier driver picked up the vehicle for my wife and she said that he was good. It was a very quick and easy process.

AmeriFreight did help me understand the process a little better, but I wish that the price stayed close at the original quote. That’s fine though. The transporter worked with me on the delivery schedule. It was a 6 to 9-day travel, and I received the vehicle on the ninth day.

There were different reviews and companies and AmeriFreight was top on Google where they got these stars for getting stuff there in one piece. It was used in my military too. Ms. Alicia was really nice and helpful when I first called and then I got transferred to Graham because she was on leave. He was also helpful because I had to change the day I was moving my vehicle and it took a little bit of time to get a new shipper. But he got it and the shipper got here quick, in about two days' drive from Alabama to California. It was a fine job and the expense wasn't too crazy overall.

The start was a little slow because of where I lived, it wasn't a regular route or it wasn't a very profitable route. So, we made some arrangements to make it more lucrative for them and I didn't mind. It was in my budget.

I ended up almost paying $1400 to get it shipped when I was initially quoted $750.

We were PCSing with the military. And we have had family members use AmeriFreight previously and they shipped three cars through them. So they gave me the contact number for AmeriFreight and we called them directly. The drivers were very courteous, respectful and communicated really well throughout the whole process of transport from the moment of picking the vehicle up to the moment of dropping it off to us. They did a really great job. We would recommend AmeriFreight to a friend.

AmeriFreight couldn't find me someone at the price I wanted. They took a long time and I ended up having to pay $200 more to get it. And I was really upset about it because I've been a constant shipper with AmeriFreight. And it's hard because you feel taken advantage of but I also just want my stuff. So, I'm very glad that the lease on my car will be ending next month. And I will no longer be shipping. Graham helped me and he was great but it's not in his control. But I wish that he told me that the car won't be shipped at the price that I initially offered. I took a risk waiting longer but I'm also an experienced shipper so, I knew what he was saying to me on the phone and knew contractually what it meant. And there's no guarantee for anything. But I'd rather cut AmeriFreight out totally and just get the name of the driver who took my car.

My sister recommended AmeriFreight because she used them before. Our start was a bit tricky because they had assigned a guy who was supposed to pick up my car on a Friday and he changed it to Saturday but he was unreachable all day on that day. He finally called at 8:00 at night saying he'd be there Sunday. However, he was again unreachable all day on Sunday. Then on Monday, I said we need to find somebody else and that I'm not waiting around. It seemed very strange and like the guy was not right. But instead of having an enclosed transporter, I ended up having to do an open-air because I needed it in a certain amount of time and they couldn't find anybody else that was enclosed. But my car made it in one piece and the people that ended up taking it were awesome.

The transport organizer from AmeriFreight was really cooperative. She was being flexible when we had these windows when we couldn't deliver and couldn't pick up. I filled out something online and then for the first three or four days, we were back and forth with forms to fill out. And then she started looking for someone. But then four days into it, I got called on business, up to Michigan so I told her that I'm not going to be available for a week and that we got to postpone that. When I got back from Michigan, we started again.

I was somewhat anxious about purchasing an automobile from out of state and having it transported to my home. When I spoke with staff at AmeriFreight, and especially Graham **, I was encouraged that the transport would be successful. And it was. My Acura MDX arrived on time and in perfect condition. Thanks to AmeriFreight staff.

AmeriFreight had quoted me the lowest price compared to others. It was good but I ended up paying more than the given quote. The transport organizer was okay but I think the communication could have been a little better. Instead of always trying to email me and relying on me to be at the computer, maybe they could pick up the phone and call me. The best part for me was the driver, he got here fast. He got one car here sooner than expected. He kept me informed and gave us a day's notice.

At first, I am quite worried because they are not keeping in touch with me on the dates that the car is ready for pickup. In the end, it turned out okay. If they can just keep on reassuring the customer that they are doing their part, that they are looking for drivers to pick up my car, it would be much better. It could just be like personality differences but sometimes I felt like once he had my business, now he's like whatever and don't really have to keep up to date. But overall, our experience with AmeriFreight was good. I would recommend them to other people and I would use them again.

I had a car shipped from California to New Jersey. I selected AmeriFreight because they were highly rated, and I had a poor experience with a less expensive company. I paid the higher rate thinking AmeriFreight would provide a good experience. Wrong! I was given an estimate of 5-7 days for the shipping, it took 15. I was told the truck broke down in Arizona. I called AmeriFreight about this matter and received zero help. Avoid shipping a vehicle if you can. If you must ship you should go with the least expensive company because they all give you the runaround.

I moved across the country to Olympia, Washington. I looked online and saw reviews of different freight companies for shipping across the country and it seemed like AmeriFreight's reviews were high and people were satisfied. They also offered me the lowest quote for our vehicle. Unfortunately, I needed the vehicle there at a busy time and crossing the country right after Christmas was tough to get a carrier, so the price was significantly more than the amount that I was quoted. I also needed to repeatedly call and make sure that they were still on the lookout for carriers.

At first, when we were trying to book the transport company, they said that the price would be $645, but it went all the way up to $900. So, the initial quote was okay but then when the actual price came up after the transport, it was a little too much. They said the transport company was asking for that much. My transport organizer was very good. He called me every time he had something available for me. He tried to arrange a deal about three times before we finally got one. The carrier driver was good, too. He was late for one day but it was due to the weather conditions. I'd recommend AmeriFreight to friends.

I’ve used AmeriFreight before and used them again when I was moving cross-country. The quote I was given was a little lower than what I actually paid but it’s fine. My interactions with their transport organizer were all professional, timely, and good. The driver got the vehicle across the country in 4-5 days.

It turned out okay but there was a huge glitch on the first day when it was supposed to be delivered. AmeriFreight had trouble crossing the bridge. They couldn't get to the house to deliver on that day so they tried to make other arrangements. They tried to get us to go to a different location about 30 minutes away to get the car. So it wasn't picked up the day it was supposed to be picked up. Then the following morning, the agent or the rep that I was working with made the arrangements and picked up next day. He corrected the error quickly so I will give him credit for that. But it was not picked up as originally planned. It was a huge inconvenience for the folks on the other side in New Jersey that were loading the car. We were lucky to have extra days and they were able to accommodate the next day. It should have been handled a little bit better initially.

The quote AmeriFreight gave me wasn't really accurate. My quote was $975 and I ended up paying $1500. When I got the quote, I wanted to hold off to try to find something cheaper but then I found out that I was getting a new job. And the transport organizer got back to me the next day with a new carrier. The guy who dropped my car off pointed out that there were no damages and our interactions were short and sweet. Overall, it was quick and good. And still cheaper than other companies.

We got a rate that was higher than we had originally wanted to pay but it went across by train, and I understood that made it a little more expensive. And then, when it arrived, the parking brake was stuck but we got it fixed and it wasn't that expensive. Overall, our experience was good.

The sales rep that I spoke to was really efficient and gave me a good price. The additional fee that I had to pay AmeriFreight surprised me a little bit. But other than that, the price was decent so I went with it. She said that she would contact me when a potential supplier has gotten in touch with them. And she did that within the time frame that she gave me. Then she got me in touch with the company. Where I was living, it wasn't convenient for the company to come straight to my location. So, it was a little bit annoying to meet them about five miles from where I live.

AmeriFreight was on the top 5 transporting companies in the United States, so that's why I contacted them. The transport organizer was really helpful. She gave out information and told me how everything worked. Plus the driver turned out to be somebody who lived near where I was, so it worked out really well.

AmeriFreight worked with us really quick to get something picked up and delivered within days to Florida. Every interaction I had with them was over the phone and they stayed in contact. The only problem was the driver had some other trucks to pick up so it took him a little longer than we thought to get to us. But he stayed in communication to let us know where he was so it was fine. I facilitated everything and everything went off without a hitch.

She was professional about the whole thing and made sure I knew everything that was going to happen, before and after.

Our family moved and I needed to ship the car. We originally chose AmeriFreight because of the price. I did their free quote option, but it was completely different than what I ended up paying. I was quoted a price of $675 and then it ended up being $1,325 to get it here. That’s quite a big difference and more money than if I went with a couple of the other providers. Once I had signed on board, it was too late. So I wasn't really happy about that. I feel like it was a bait and switch. I had to get the car here, so I really didn't have much of a choice. The shipper was fine and the guys who delivered it were great. So there were no issues with the actual transportation of it. But I would not use them again. They should have been more fair and upfront.

When I decided to go with AmeriFreight, they gave me a quote and I was a little concerned that it wasn't really a rock-solid bid. It could have gone up. But then when they called back several days later, they said that they had somebody to do the transport and the bid’s not going up. They shipped my vehicle for $940 plus $98 insurance like they quoted me. There was a little confusion on the day it was supposed to be picked up. It wasn’t picked up till the following day, but they stayed in touch pretty well. The driver texted me about half an hour before he arrived. He delivered the vehicle and I had no problem with him. AmeriFreight was the only company that was straightforward and told me how the pricing and everything worked out. It’s descriptive compared to some of the other companies that gave false pricing. Their initial quote was right where it needed to be and that's why I chose them. I did the free quote and then the organizer sent me an e-mail and called me. We talked about the appraisal, the costing and how much everything was and we came to an agreement on pricing. After that was done, he told me how long it's going to take for the bid to be on the internet for the truckers to bid on and the price may change depending on how everything works out. During the time period, we had the holidays so the availability for truckers could be a part of the price change.

The Amerifreight rep I was initially dealing with took care of things for me. She was great and friendly. Although I had another rep who didn't really know what was going on and was rude. But the carrier driver has been good. And when he couldn't deliver the truck into my subdivision, because of certain guidelines and regulations that AmeriFreight has, he drove the vehicle to my house. It was a good experience and I'm satisfied. I'd use them again.

I was no longer needing my vehicle so I sold it and I needed to ship it to the new owner. I have used AmeriFreight before and it was very bad, poor customer service. But since I was in a time crunch, I decided to use them again. The free quote I got was fine and reasonable and the transport organizer was really responsive and very clear in reminding me of how shipping a car would work because it was a couple of years ago since I shipped my l5ast car. It was very easy and the process took no more than 3 days. Despite my previous poor experience, this time was a good and really wonderful experience because of the person I worked with.

All of the companies provided me with estimates around $1200 except for AmeriFreight; their estimate was $985. I decided to go with AmeriFreight because price was my major consideration, and they had great reviews. I signed up with AmeriFreight over the phone, and provided my debit card number. I also agreed to their terms over the phone, and through their website. I worked with Graham **, and he emailed me a document with several attachments, which, foolishly, I did not read before agreeing to their terms. I agreed to an 8.75% convenience fee to have them pay the driver on my behalf, and also signed up for optional gap coverage for $98. The terms state that they can go up to $300 over the amount of the estimate.

We were moving and my husband's in the military, so I needed to ship my vehicle. But I had a really bad experience with a different company that didn't get anything done for me. So when I saw that Amerifreight's reviews on ConsumerAffairs were fantastic, I called them and within two days, we got a company to ship my car. It was awesome. Lesha was fantastic. She was very informative and helped me with any questions I had. I was very happy with AmeriFreight.

AmeriFreight was very responsive when I had to get my vehicle from San Diego to New York. Their quote wasn't the best but I was in a bind and had to do it last-minute and it came through. The transport organizer called and emailed a few times. I filled out the form and she put in a bid. She helped me in the whole process and it was nice. It worked out once I had completed the stuff. I can't believe how smoothly it went with the actual transportation company. They picked it up and it was great.

So, I opted to have my vehicle shipped. Since I used Amerifreight back in 2014 when I shipped the car from Washington State to Washington D.C., I went ahead and used them again. I was shipping my car from Salt Lake City to Maryland and AmeriFreight was a reference from somebody else that had used them. It was somewhat frustrating experience because it has a very different way of doing business that I'm not used to where you don't get much information. I just give them a bunch of money and trust them that they're gonna do what they say they do. The timing is very imprecise, on the pick up and the delivery, but that's understandable. They could've done a little bit better job of describing it. What happened was my car beat me here. I was still in Salt Lake when my car was here and they said that I have to pick it up. It was a little bit nerve-racking because they said they were going tow my car away if somebody didn't pick it up. But they did a beautiful job of getting my car here and the truck driver was great.

I enjoyed my experience with Amerifreight, with one exception. I did not know that they only provided one ramp per move. I had two trailers. And so, I thought I would get two ramps, one for each trailer. They said the ramp comes with the trailer. I only got one trailer at a time when I loaded the lawn mower and I need two ramps load a Zero Turn lawn mower. When I talked to them about having it both come out the same time, so that I would have both ramps to unload it, they said no. So I had this big, monstrous lawnmower on there with no way to get it off. They said, "Oh well, it's a liability issue. We don't want you to put lawnmowers on there." And I told them, "It's already on there. I got to get it off somehow."

AmeriFreight had good online reviews but the price was a little higher than expected. They told me initially depending on the availability that could happen but it's only a few more dollars. I submitted my request then they contacted me via phone that I needed to submit a formal request on their system. They explained all the different options for insurance, and they'd be placing my order on the tracker and that as soon as they get something they will call me back.

I have had many cars transported over the past 10 years. The experience that I had with AmeriFreight was, by far, the best so far! Graham ** at AmeriFreight was efficient, knowledgeable and customer focused.

I began working with one person and from what it sounded like, he got fired. Then somebody else took over. And so, there was a little bit of a lack of communication on Amerifreight's part. I had to call them and check in a little more than I would have. It wasn't proactive on their end but it got resolved.

I started with an online quote and right away they gave me a good quote and an order number that I could reference. It had a guy's name and a phone number on it. He was really easily accessible, answered emails promptly, and answered his phone when I called. If he didn't answer the phone, he did get right back to me. It was very good. He was very helpful and explained the whole process, insurance, how they did and how they quote. From the initial quote to the delivery of the car, it took a week. They were fair, reliable, and it was an excellent overall experience.

But, I found out late that was just the initial quote and they still had to find a carrier and it might go over that. One was my boyfriend's, and when it got to its location, it started having some issues that required repair that we think resulted from the trip. They quoted us six something, with the understanding that it would potentially go up from $50 to $100, but I wasn’t expecting it to go up to $200. Also, we were told that our vehicle will be picked up on a Wednesday, but their driver ended up picking it up on Friday and it took about a week to get it out here. My mom was the one who received the car in California and she said that he was very polite. Their service was great and the process took a total of five days. Overall, AmeriFreight is reliable.

My wife arranged with AmeriFreight at the beginning and we were happy with the price. I got phone calls from the transport organizer telling us what was available and sent email right away so our interaction was all quite well done. The driver called ahead when he was coming to get the car, told the timeframe that he would arrive, and answered back if we sent a text. He moved the car and got it to New Mexico a little bit earlier than they had said. It was a very satisfactory experience and very convenient for my son. It was also fun and interesting to see the actual putting of the car on to the machine.

Then, within an hour he called back and said they found somebody who'll be there in an hour so I had to rush home. Their network is fantastic.

I used AmeriFreight to relocate my vehicle and it all went off exactly as they described. But the driver showed up for pickup three hours later and the delivery was late at night. Also, their quote doesn't correspond to what it actually cost which came in $500 more. It was a little more expensive than I had expected. But for the most part, the shipping came off without a hitch. It was a simple, clean and easy process.

AmeriFreight's webpage was easier to navigate so I used them to move my truck to Florida. They picked it up the day before Thanksgiving so I imagined that slowed the transport down a little bit because they probably didn't leave until after Thanksgiving. But the transport organizer did what he was supposed to do and did a good job on it. I'd recommend him. The truck was delivered clean, and didn't have any nicks or scratches or anything. It's pretty decent for the cross country move. I have referred AmeriFreight to some other people and I'd use them again.

I've used other transport companies who a lot of times are not available. AmeriFreight was available and they were able to make the delivery happen. They also had good reviews. The organizer was Alicia and she was great. She had found one pick up time with one person and I couldn't do it, so she was able to get the next one that was available to me. Then I had to change my location, but she still made that work out fine. She's also available whenever I called. Since I needed the delivery to not be on Wednesday, the car was picked up on a Tuesday and it got here on Thursday so it was exactly what I wanted. It was picked up in Manhattan and the carrier was there at the hour he told he would be there. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. They're reliable and have good customer service.

My daughter had a Toyota 4Runner out in L.A., and I wanted the vehicle back here in St. Louis where I live. So, I went online and got AmeriFreight. Their pickup and delivery time were very good. However, when the driver picked up the car, he told us a different date for when the car was going to be delivered to St. Louis. Nevertheless, it all went very well and their rep has been a big help. She's been very good about returning phone calls and getting a hold of the freight company. A lot of people don't do that, but I was very satisfied with her. On the pick up day, they called my daughter and told her that pick up would be in the afternoon and my daughter said everything went fine. So far, everything worked out well and I would recommend them if somebody wants their car shipped.

I purchased a van from a fellow franchisee going out of business and needed it shipped from College Station, Texas to Kingman, Arizona. My son, who lives in Iowa, shipped back the car we had loaned him to Kingman when he moved to Las Vegas. Everything went flawless with it, so I got AmeriFreight's number from him. The quote was $666. I did not know at the time if it would matter or not 'cause they allow a hundred pounds and mine was gonna be at least two or three hundred pounds so they just adjusted the price. I still find the $1,000 was worth it to get it here. We were expecting them on a Friday but they gave me a call and said they'd be here Saturday morning about 9:00. The driver called an hour and 40 minutes prior to getting here and arrived about 9:10 so I would consider that really on time. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

My son’s grandfather gave him a car as an early graduation present. He lives up in Maryland and we live in Florida. It’s an older car so we decided we were not going to put a whole bunch of miles on it and shipped it down instead. AmeriFreight was referred by a friend that used them. She had her car shipped without a hitch and she really liked the work that they did so I got them too. AmeriFreight put out their quotes for bids and they tried to get as close to it as possible. But they were upfront about that from the get go. I had to be patient and it came within $75 of what they first quoted. Basically, they said that it all depends on whoever takes the contract. Their driver was nice and very pleasant. Overall, their rep was really good with keeping in contact with me and keeping me up to date. She did great.

This is more a review of ConsumerAffairs than of AmeriFreight. I just finished speaking with AmeriFreight. They are an auto transport BROKER, not an auto transporter. Big difference for me. Less direct relationship with drivers, etc. Just wanted to make other consumers aware.

I was very disappointed with the lack of communication from these agents. I kept calling during the 7 day window to check in and asked that they call me with updates. I understand that it was a difficult time to ship over the holidays and with winter weather conditions but I would have at least liked a call from them to know they were working on it. I received no communication and zero confidence from them that they could find a carrier.

They dispatched out and if somebody happened to be coming through, they'd send a notification when and where the pick up will be at the last minute. They wanted the car down in Indianapolis quick. She emailed that out to me around 5:00 but I happened to see it at 6:00. Then I called her to confirm that I agree to it, and then I found somebody to follow and got the car down there at 8:00 o'clock at night. It happened so quickly and I thought I've got to do it if I want this deal.

Then when the driver came to pick up my car, he gave me his cell phone number and told me I can text him. He texted me to let me know where he is and all that other kind of stuff. They got the car delivered and the driver they outsourced from Dash Enterprises was outstanding on both ends because I dealt with him in South Carolina and I had a whole lot of confidence in the way he presented himself. He was a very true gentleman. On the other end, in Arizona, my daughter who met him at the drop-off site said he kept her informed on the phone when he was getting near to the area. Everything went smooth there, too. That guy did a great job.

They called me back right away, scheduled the move and picked up the car. They were wonderful and we were so pleased. It was my son's car that came from Connecticut down here to Georgia. The carrier driver talked to my son and they found an amicable place for him to pick up the car. The carrier was clean and it looked brand new. The driver was nice and he took good care of my son and the car. When the car was delivered, he put it right in the driveway and there was no damage. We would use him again, specifically. The rep was also wonderful. She was sick and was not at work but she still found the time to call me to make sure that whoever she had left our account with was on the ball and helping us out.

AmeriFreight's rep was very helpful but the Phoenix Freight that picked up the car was not truthful with their date and time, and their time frame was off. They're not direct with their communication and they ended up bringing the wrong car to my son. He was so upset having waited all day. It's so difficult when somebody is working and he was so distressed about that. Nonetheless, their rep was very nice in trying to help out and communicated with us in a nice manner.

I've only used a car transport twice, this was my second time. When I used it 12 years ago, they had a definite specific time we were going to pick it up and a specific time they were going to drop it off. Nowadays, you go through a broker and they broker it out to different truck drivers. So I told them that I've got an airplane to catch and I need to have my car picked up. They couldn't tell when will it be picked up until someone said: "Sure, I'll pick that one up for you." That was frustrating but that's typical of all broker transport companies, they put it out for bid. They put it out really low but then you end up paying quite a bit more.

AmeriFreight was one of the top of the list that I was looking at that was recommended. The person that I talked to got me going. The only problem was she talked so fast. I know she’s trying to get through it but the main point is that the car got there in good shape and I'm happy about that. A little dirtier though, as expected. I had to switch my dates and they were flexible with it. All in all, I was very happy with the experience. If I ever have to ship my car over again, I will use AmeriFreight.

I would recommend him 100% because he did a great job from the time that he started with me and picked up my car until, on the other end, when his family member dropped the car off.
