We own a car out of state so we needed to get it to where we were. AmeriFreight was the most reputable on the search, and they're reliable, fast and friendly. I was able to take advantage of the free quote and it was fair. The transport organizers were all great. They were really efficient and had a quick turnaround time. Also, the carrier drivers were very nice.

I purchased a car and needed it shipped from Florida to Chicago. The salesman from AmeriFreight told me that he could get my car shipped for a certain price but he would have to look around for it. His price is also lower than the other ones that I had checked. I made several phone calls before he found the driver or the shipping company. It took a couple days longer for him to find them.

I had to meet the driver several blocks away because he was concerned about the little hanging branches but that was not a problem. He used a 2-tier closed truck and he didn't have the ramp all the way down. When he was backing the car off the truck, he didn't have the ramp down all the way at the angle and it ripped off the exhaust of my vehicle. AmeriFreight knocked a few dollars off but it cost me a whole lot more than that. Overall, it was a new experience for me but it wasn't bad.

I was moving 2,500 miles for work and read the AmeriFreight reviews, it sounded like a lot of people had good things to say. I called AmeriFreight to get answers and the quote provided was a little expensive because I wanted a quick pickup. But it was good because the vehicle came quickly and everything was on time. From pickup to delivery, the process took about four or five days. The transport organizer was able to help and get me some contractors to come quickly to pick up the car on the very next day. Everything was good. I was happy with the service.

We had more cars than we wanted to drive so we searched for transport companies to help us with our move. AmeriFreight was highly rated and they estimate came back lower than others, but the actual cost was quite a bit above that yet still reasonable. The driver was friendly and accommodating. It's also easy enough to arrange the place to do the pickup and drop off. They got the job done under a week and everything went smoothly and pretty much what I expected.

We relocated out of California to Indiana. So, we flew out from California and left the car there until we can save up enough money to get it shipped. We used AmeriFreight as my uncle had used them before, and the quote they gave me was good. It was $800 and I ended up paying about $850, but it's better than the other places who were trying to charge me about $1100.

Though the driver didn't really seem to know much English, my interactions with him were pretty cool. He called to tell me he was about an hour away from the delivery. He couldn't drive the rig in here so he parked a block away from my house. I came down from work waiting for him and expecting to hear a call saying, "Hey, come over here to come pick up your car because I can't fit in there." But then I see the car pull up in the driveway. He drove the car from the field over to my house which was really good. I read the reviews on them before I even chose to go with them. And I read this thing on the internet saying don't always necessarily go with the lower price because you get what you pay for. You could end up getting your car and having it in worse condition than when you left it. But AmeriFreight was great. They even gave me a discount because we were a returning customer.

I relocated out of state so I needed to get the car there. The rep from AmeriFreight that I talked to was very forthcoming with how they worked and what to expect. For me, it was important that they set some expectations of what I was about to experience as I'd never gone through that before. Ultimately, it was his honesty that made me choose AmeriFreight. The competition is ruthless. As soon as the car went on the board to look for a transporter, all their competitors did was call and rip on their service. They made it feel uncertain that the low quote would piss off the truckers and that we should go with them if we really wanted it shipped. So I called my guy and he made me feel at ease about it.

He stayed in contact with me and was super helpful. However, we did not ship it at the original quoted price, though he had broken down the process for me and set some expectations that the price may change based on statistics. That was huge for me because any clientele would appreciate that type of transparency. The car came from my parents and my father is 81 years old and the driver was super nice and thoughtful to him. He couldn't get the truck up near our house so my father took the truck down there and the driver drove him back which he really appreciated. Then when he showed up, it was a day late. He had some truck issues but he called to let me know that and was super nice when he got there.

I contacted Amerifreight because they were highly rated on the reviews and I just went down to the top three and my experience with the other two would be I would never use them. Everyone was really nice on the initial call but as soon as I called and went with Amerifreight and that vehicle went on the board, they were rude which just solidified that I made the right choice.

I had to ship my vehicle because I was relocating to Florida from New Jersey, and had all positive results with AmeriFreight. We researched online and they sounded pretty good. And then, we felt comfortable when we talked to the agent that's why we picked them. The driver, Peter, was outstanding. He was a gentleman. I was very much satisfied with the pick-up. And being in New Jersey, I let my wife's cousin meet him in Florida where we offloaded the car and it was nice. Everything went well. I couldn't find them on the web, so I called the number I had based on AmeriFreight's communication and his daughter answered the phone. I told her "Your father's a sweetheart.” I would recommend AmeriFreight to anybody who needs a freight carrier.

Everything went fine with the AmeriFreight's transport organizer. However, it was an absolute nightmare with the carrier's driver. It was awful. On the delivery day, the driver called us when he was about two hours out. He said he wasn't allowed to come to our city and he wanted us to get 40 miles to a different city so that we can come meet him to pick the vehicle up. After I told him that wasn't going to happen, he eventually agreed to come close to where we live but he parked a mile away and so we walked to go meet him at his truck. We found out when he called that he got tired of waiting, so he drove the vehicle over to our house where I paid to have it delivered. I had to walk another mile back to get my girlfriend's car. It was a rough experience with the driver. They were very unprofessional. That situation was disappointing especially when I paid a premium to have it picked up and delivered. It makes me hesitant to ever use AmeriFreight again.

I called AmeriFreight on multiple occasions. The sales rep was very cordial and offered the best price by far. In fact no one else even came close! RED FLAG!! What they do is "bait" you with the lowest rate around (of course it is not guaranteed) but then they send you the paperwork, and you then realize this is not a reputable company. They will even charge you a 8.75% admin fee when using a CC at time of delivery. From what I've read about them, their rates most likely will be the highest around. How in world can they get a 4.5 rating. Just shows you how gullible people can be. BE CAREFUL with these guys!!!

I found AmeriFreight on Google for the best transporting vehicles review and it was in the top three that I called. I went with them because of the price and the response time. The quote I was given is good. It ended up being $125 more because of the specific dates I requested but I don’t care. The delivery was fine and everyone was nice and they met me where I asked them to. They got my car shipped out before I was even here and they were willing to hang on to it for me for two days for no extra fee at all until I arrived in Los Angeles so I found that to be extremely accommodating, professional and going above and beyond.

They made no big deal of it, they were like, “You’re going to be here on the 5th?” They had it out here on the 3rd already. They’re really fast. I said, “Oh, that’s great that you have my car there but I’m still in Miami." And they said, “It’s fine. We can hold on to it until you get here.” That was great. It made things very easy and convenient for me. The rest of my move went terrible so I was like, “Thank God the car was super easy.”

One of our vehicles got in an accident, so our company was transferring one vehicle from Houston to Las Vegas and I'm the person they put in charge of handling the transport. I saw that AmeriFreight had better reviews and knew I was going with them. Their rep, Ali, gave me an estimate on the 16th. I asked her what the cost was gonna be and how soon they could get it over there. She said they could do it quickly. On the 20th, she notified me that they had a courier and we sent the payment and the car was picked up. It was delivered by the 24th. They were really good. They did what they said they were gonna do. They did it well and they did it a little faster than my other manager was expecting to get the vehicle. They ended up having to wait once they got over there.

We were storing my vehicle in Iowa and I needed it brought to our home in Oregon. I thought AmeriFreight worked hard and I got a good vibe from them. However, nobody would take it for the lower prices, so we had to keep upping the price to find somebody to bring the car out. In the end, the price was in line with the other quotes, so I wasn't surprised. But I was hopeful that it would be what they thought it was going to be originally. Apart from that, the organizer was very good and my interaction with the carrier driver was fair but the communication between the driver and us was not that good. The local number to call is his wife and she was very unprofessional.

The carriers were also dealing with my brother-in-law in Iowa and didn't give us as much notice as we were expecting. They gave me a call and said, "do you want it today or Monday?" I said, "I didn't think you were coming till Tuesday." They just showed up three days early at 7:30 at night. It was a Saturday so we hustled around and got the money together real quick 'cause we weren't expecting them till a weekday. It was nice having the car early but we just weren't prepared at all. But once the carriers were there, they were very helpful loading the car onto their truck 'cause the engine doesn't work, so they steered and had brakes and tires. Other than that, the reps from AmeriFreight were very polite, helpful, and professional. There was nothing negative other than the price. I would recommend AmeriFreight, but not the actual carrier.

I moved from Virginia to Colorado, did some internet research and AmeriFreight looked like a good company. Their rates were reasonable and the people we talked to on the phone were very helpful and very open, so we figured we’d go ahead with them. The transport organizer, Graham, was very helpful. After telling him what we were looking to do, we signed all the agreements, and he kept us informed. He contacted carriers and we had to raise the price we were willing to pay because he couldn’t find any carriers which would meet those costs. We finally settled on a cost that we got a couple of responses on, and he kept walking us through the whole process.

The carrier driver was good and helpful. He called me the day before as well as several times en route. He told us where he’d be located and what time he’d be there. My son and I picked the car up and didn’t have any problems at all. The process took about two weeks, which wasn’t bad. They did a good job and we’d recommend it to somebody else. It was an interesting process and there were only so many ways they can do it. They handled it well and we were happy with the results. The car got there fine with no problems.

I transferred jobs and needed to transport my car. EShip found three shipping companies for me that were not able to help. It took me over 30 days to get my car when I was dealing with eShip and the companies they provided. So my car ended up staying in Florida while I was over here for over 30 days. And I had to cancel contract three times with them. So finally, I went out and found an auto transport company on my own. I read the reviews that are on the consumer information from the Better Business Bureau and decided on AmeriFreight.

I got a good quote from them. I had been given a lot of higher quotes than that. The rep I talked to was very professional. Without giving a guarantee, he made it very clear that he would get the car shipped within the time frame that they gave me. And the information, quotes and time frame that he gave me were spot on. There was complete disclosure on the price and time frames and it actually took them less time than I expected to deliver my car.

I moved from Arizona to Massachusetts. We were driving cross country with all of my dogs, and my wife and I didn’t want to take two separate cars, so I had mine shipped through AmeriFreight. They had the best reviews from what I read online and the quote I got was great. I got an email from them first and then I called back the representative and we got everything down. Unfortunately, they weren't able to ship my car at the quoted price. My house was in the middle of nowhere, so I had to pay for retail price.

The shipment of the car only took five days, but the whole process took about a month, from when I first filled out the form online to the date that the car got delivered. The representative was pretty much available as soon as I needed him. I called him one time and he was in a meeting, but he got back to me as soon as he got out, so everything that I had dealt with him was a very positive experience. I thank God AmeriFreight did a great job, but the company that picked up my car, the dispatcher was somewhat incompetent but that’s not AmeriFreight’s fault. They just found the company for me. Overall, they were a great company to work with.

I spent six months in Las Vegas and six months in outstate New York and I was just returning home from a vacation. Initially, AmeriFreight's estimate was reasonable as opposed to all the other initial estimates I got. But it ended up being nowhere near what I eventually paid which was at least 30% or 40% more. The transport organizer seemed to be a pretty decent guy and right on the ball. We couldn’t get any drivers to sign in with the initial quote. I had one that signed on with that but that person dropped it within the same day. The pickup was three days after I left Las Vegas and I don't have somebody else drop the car off so it was inconvenient. They finally got someone and I had to get bumped another couple of hundred dollars on the last day. At that time, I just had to have the car transported but I would have been much more satisfied if they had told me that was the price on the first day.

The delivery was very satisfactory and the carrier was right on time. They called ahead of time and they dropped the car off to me in New York city right on the day and time. The carrier couldn’t have been any better and it worked out fine. The process took 5 days which was quick. It was cross-country from Las Vegas to outstate New York but they didn’t mind that. But I was very dissatisfied on the price and the cost of it. They eventually charged me $300 to do this and I understand the quote is not the exact thing but to be that far off was disappointing. I’ve had transported my car in the past and that is way more than any other broker ever charged me before. On price alone, I probably wouldn’t ever recommend it to people. That was entirely too much to pay but I should have asked in the beginning before I even signed up. That was my mistake and the actual interaction with the broker or driver was very satisfactory.

I got out of the navy and moved cross-country. AmeriFreight was the highest rated company that came up during my google search so I used them. I did the free quote option however, it was a little confusing. There were two types of quotes, one was for the cheapest way while the other quote was for when you need it by a certain date type of price. They didn’t mention that so I was led to believe I was only paying X amount, but it turned out that X amount was the cheaper one, which didn’t fit when I needed to get my car moved by. I ended up paying $400 more, which made me a little upset but I wasn’t really in a position where I could do anything 'cause I was moving cross-country.

The transport organizer was fine. However, I didn’t really feel like I got a super straight answer. It was like, “Well, this is how we do it and keep moving forward.” I was a little upset the first couple of times I talked to him because of the situation. It was $800 that I saw, but they should've let the me know of their two quotes. I would've been a lot happier knowing that I would pay $1,200. Other than that, the driver was great. That took longer than I wanted. Other than that, my experience with them was great and very positive. I would use AmeriFreight again.

I sold the car across the country so I needed to ship it. AmeriFreight was the first one I saw that looked reputable online. When I first called them, the quote was going to be around $700 and it was fine. But when I shipped it, it ended up being quite a bit more. I ended up buying extra insurance, which was about an extra $100 on. Then, AmeriFreight introduced me to somebody else that took over the transportation. The guy that came and got the car was really nice. Everything was also fine on delivery. Everything has been smooth.

I was moving for a job. I searched for reviews, compared a bunch of them and AmeriFreight's were decent. The quote was more or less comparable to other providers and the transport organizer was pretty friendly. But I'm still having an unresolved issue. Part of my car is damaged but it wasn't a major one. The side mirror on the passenger side is somewhat broken and the outside is completely shattered. Either the car wasn't secured or when the driver got it out, it got hit by something. The driver was not what I would expect but it was okay and he probably tried his best.

He told me that he can arrive on a Monday night. He never got in contact me until I contacted him and he said he doesn't think he can be here that night unless it's very late. I told him that as long as he can be here, I can try to make it until midnight but he said he can't. That's part of the reason why I didn't see the damage when we actually made the transfer because I picked up the car at 6:00 AM and it was all dark outside. There was no way for me to properly inspect the car.

I purchased the so-called gap plan from AFta and I submit a claim. But it's been more than a month and I haven't heard back from them. I'm on the West part of the US and their company is in the East so, sometimes, it's a bit hard for me to directly communicate with them. I tried to call them and left a message. I also tried to send emails to the rep from AmeriFreight. The email address is AmeriFreight but in the email, the guy was saying he is representing AFta. I sent him an email telling the situation and I never got a response. My claim is still pending and I'm gonna call them after this week if I don't hear back from them.

The transport organizer called me, set everything up and stayed in touch every step of the way. My interactions with the carrier driver were excellent as well. We had the request out for four days, then someone picked it up and the car was delivered in two days. So, that was very fast.

AmeriFreight was one of the companies that came up when I did a Google search for a transport service. After a quick check on Better Business Bureau, it seemed like AmeriFreight was not a scam so I went with them. They handled everything well. Everything was good and their rep was great. They came to pick up the car and it got delivered to Seattle a little bit after I was expecting it to, but it was only a couple of days. They couldn’t get the truck wherever I was, so they had to put it onto a smaller truck but that was the only thing that was out of the ordinary and it ended up being fine.

First, the email response stated that if a representative does not contact you within six hours, to call or respond to the email. I didn't hear from anyone and sent a follow up email only to discover the email address came back as undeliverable. Second, the next morning I received a quote from Graham for $985. I call because the email states that if I respond within 48 hours, I am eligible for a discount. You can imagine my surprise when I learned that the actual cost for shipping my vehicle was $1300, and not the $985 quoted in the original email. In my opinion, that is not the way to do business - bad form and unprofessional. I did not use AmeriFreight and will not despite all the glowing reviews posted here.

The car was at my father-in-law’s house and we were shipping it from South Mississippi to Washington State, the new location I am going to. I’m in the military. Amerifreight was recommended by two of my friends and I also did not want to put out a bid on the internet. I wanted an agent to deal with it. I was not happy at all with how things transpired with AmeriFreight. I was given a quote by Alicia, the first agent I dealt with. I didn’t hear from them for three or four weeks. Finally I called them. I was handled by two different gentlemen. The original quote was $950. What I ended up paying was around $1,600, but at that point I needed the car and I had to get it shipped. I wouldn’t have an issue if they told me from the beginning that’s how much it was going to cost. They were not very transparent about the whole process. I was ripped off but because of my work I didn’t have time to deal with it.

Ben, the transport organizer was fine and ended up helping me. Once I re-engaged, started calling them, it took them a week-and-a-half to find somebody to move the car despite the fact that I originally called them a month out. He found the person but after that, he didn’t do anything. I’m the one who talked to the driver and arranged everything. Originally they wanted my father-in-law to meet them at 3:00 in the morning with the car. That’s not going to happen, so they agreed to meet him at 7 a.m. and then they delivered it right to the house, so that was perfect. But AmeriFreight advertises that they’re going to do door-to-door but it wasn’t worth the headache to deal with the driver. I was misled on that. The whole situation was annoying. I wouldn’t recommend AmeriFreight to anyone. They rush you and try to get you to buy insurance packages which were a complete waste of money. Fortunately I turned down most of them.

I had a few other companies who’d given me a set price of $1,295 and I ended up paying $1,350 with AmeriFreight. But everything on the transport went smoothly. We had offers from other companies but we chose AmeriFreight as they had very good reviews and their rep was very professional right away and we were given a quote. We could tell the difference 'cause we had a different company last year and it was a nightmare. But the person at AmeriFreight was very professional and didn't make things up. He was true to the facts what he had told me and was very assuring.

At first, he had another carrier company to assign our case to, but they didn't come through with the insurance information. They didn't have coverage, so the rep called me immediately and told me we couldn't go with that carrier and that they'll find us a reputable person. That was really great and it was perfect with the carrier we got. I was a little wary of that because I know the main company contracts out to carriers to pick up the actual car. But they were comfortable and were always available too. There were two people that we communicated with, the actual driver and his supervisor that drove the actual car back to Florida, and they were both exceptional. They were a local California company but I would use them again if I ever have to ship a car again.

However, they wanted to be there earlier than the time that we had originally set. We were really stressed out being under the circumstance of having to be there for that certain amount of time. We had a tricky situation and we had only a two-day time frame that we were able to coordinate our flight out to be there for the car to be picked up. It was pretty difficult but the staff were very accommodating and very quick.

The second time, we shipped the car back to the dealer because there was something wrong with the car. Everybody was nice during the first time but the communication was lacking. The girl who was calling on behalf of the driver rescheduled our drop-off three times. Originally, the driver was supposed to drop our car off in the morning but we ended up not getting it until 10:30 PM that night so we had to reschedule several times throughout the day to accommodate him. That was frustrating.

The second time we used them, however, everything was great. The driver, who was different from the first, was professional and loaded the car very nicely. So we were pleased with that. His truck was too big and my car was going to be the last drop-off so the lady the lady who received the car dealt with a different driver but didn't have any problems on her end, too. My husband did some quick research and found that AmeriFreight looked trustworthy. However, we didn’t understand the actual process - that AmeriFreight is the bidder and then they find the drivers. AmeriFreight did help me understand the process a little better, but I wish that the price stayed close at the original quote. That’s fine though. The transporter worked with me on the delivery schedule. It was a 6 to 9-day travel, and I received the vehicle on the ninth day.

I was relocating for my job so I needed to ship my vehicle. AmeriFreight had the best rate and they were super flexible. I had to change a few things and they completely worked with me and had no problems with that. I initially got a free quote but in the end, it was more expensive than what they quoted but it was completely reasonable for what I had to do. I had a smaller time crunch than when I originally had gotten a quote. But they were nice and accommodating and they were able to get my car shipped across the country in four days. It was perfect and was what I needed.

It was my uncle who picked up the car because I was still moving the rest of my stuff. Originally, there was a specific pickup date but then there was a snowstorm coming in. The driver didn't want to drive the trailer so far away from Newark City. He contacted my uncle with enough time and it was a great communication. We'd totally recommend them to my friends that would be traveling or looking for the same job I had there.

There were different reviews and companies and AmeriFreight was top on Google where they got these stars for getting stuff there in one piece. It was used in my military too. Ms. Alicia was really nice and helpful when I first called and then I got transferred to Graham because she was on leave. He was also helpful because I had to change the day I was moving my vehicle and it took a little bit of time to get a new shipper. But he got it and the shipper got here quick, in about two days' drive from Alabama to California. It was a fine job and the expense wasn't too crazy overall.

They were pretty forward with how long the move was gonna take based on my preferences. My interactions with them worked out well. The pickup took longer than expected, but partially because I was willing to wait for a driver. The drivers were okay but a little scatterbrained. They were not the best with communication. There were also discrepancies with the time of delivery and the location. They were running behind and didn’t let me know for a few hours.

I went to stay with my son for a few months. He had just bought a new house and it was a last-minute decision for me to leave Pennsylvania when I did. The cold weather was coming in and I wanted to hurry up and get out of there. I did my research on transport companies and I liked some of the reviews I read about AmeriFreight. Lisa was the gal that was helping me and I got real comfortable with her. She answered all my questions and would call me back. She was the one that enticed me to choose them.

I was happy with the driver, too. I talked to him when he was picking up my car because I was already back in Texas and had left my car with my son. I put his number in my phone just in case I had any paranoid feelings about anything on the road. When they unloaded my car, everything was great. I was happy with the whole process. I was treated right and it was fair. I was impressed. I wished I had known about transporting vehicles a long time ago, or I’d be doing it more often.

I also checked other consumer reports and AmeriFreight has a good rating. So, I decided to call Ally. She was very responsible and sent me the email immediately. She gave me all the situations and explained in detail because I have never done a vehicle shipment before. She did a really good job and made me feel more comfortable.

The car was still in the parking lot of the apartment and they needed to call in there and talk to my apartment office lady. Ally called the office lady immediately and fully coordinated for me. I had moved with work and needed to get my vehicle from South Texas to California. I had contacted a couple of different places but as soon as I give them my address or zip code, they said that they don't service that area because it's two and a half hours South of San Antonio. Luckily, AmeriFreight got back to me and told me that they can try to work something out to get a driver down there. I left the car in Houston even though that wasn't my pick-up location because it was getting towards the end when I had to move and that's where I departed Texas from.

Jeff with AmeriFreight was able to assist me in that way and was able to get a driver very quickly from Houston to Sacramento. He was able to help and stay in contact with me throughout the whole thing. Then there was one carrier who did offer to come down to Laredo, but it was $500 over the asking price because of the location that I was in. So I told him that it was way too much and so I had to move the pick-up destination to a larger city. Then AmeriFreight called me back within 30 minutes telling me that they got a carrier for me. They really worked out with me and helped me out with everything. However, because of the bad weather that week, instead of it being delivered on a Friday afternoon, I ended up picking it up on Saturday morning when he got into town. But still, the delivery went well.

I had a not-so-good experience with another broker that's supposed to be for the same service as AmeriFreight. I tried to look at the reviews and it seemed like AmeriFreight is one of those that have better reviews. The negatives weren't so much, but unfortunately that negative is what I also experienced. I initially contacted them and they gave me a quote. When they did, I made it clear that this was what I wanted and needed. They told me the price that would be within the time frame of seven days, so I agreed to that and I booked. I did it on a Friday and then after I did that I tried to call my rep. I couldn't get a hold of him so I sent an email. I couldn't get anything from him, so over the weekend, I did not get any update and I wasn't sure what was going on.

Come Monday, I tried calling AmeriFreight again and sent emails, and I wasn't getting any response. Before the end of the day, I called their customer service and tried to talk to somebody else. I was advised that the person who was handling my account wasn't there and would get back to me. The day passed and no one got back to me. Next day, again there's no feedback. I even sent an email where I said, "Let me know if you don't want to provide a service so that I can find another service provider". Eventually, on Wednesday I placed a call and before the end of the day the rep called and said, "We needed your credit card number to start the booking." So I gave it to them and after I did, that's the only time that they said they're gonna put me up on the board. That means the initial quote they said within seven days started on that Wednesday, not when I made my confirmation.

I was asking for feedback and there was nothing. Eventually before that seventh day they gave me a quote, which was $400 more than what they quoted. I just wanted to get it done so I said go ahead and ship it. The trucker and I had better communication than AmeriFreight. I called the trucker and gave them all the instructions, and the trucker even delivered one day ahead of the original schedule. Overall I was hoping that this would be a good experience but it didn't work out that way.

I had been in an accident on Jan. 13th which ruined my old BMW. So my grandmother, who lives in Cleveland, Texas, was going to give me the car that's been in our family for about 20 years now. I had been looking online for a reliable freighting company to do this because I had never done anything like this before. AmeriFreight was at the top of the list for a lot of different websites and I don't like to do a second rate.

The quote was given to me fairly quickly. My only concern was that the quote was a little bit higher than the original because Cleveland is such a small town and after trying to find a company through AmeriFreight, it was very hard to find someone. But he still kept it within my budget and it was quick and easy. It was a little bit under what I would consider my maximum bid for that would have been, which is great. It's less than I was planning on paying.

I spoke to Graham and a couple of his assistants for various questions. It's a very friendly service and Graham is very prompt. I appreciated how quickly he was able to get back to me on a lot of the questions because the past few months had just been a very stressful time for me and my family. However, the woman that I was talking to who was based in Florida with D&D Auto seemed to be very busy a lot of the time and whenever I would call her to ask about the vehicle, she would answer four out of five times.

My main concern was that my driver spoke very little English so it was very difficult talking to him. I was standing out in the rain waiting for the car to arrive and he kept pushing back the time. I ended up waiting in the rain for about an hour and a half. That part was difficult and I certainly didn't enjoy that. So before you say yes to a quote, do a little research on the company that does it and make sure they know their stuff and, preferably, speaks English. But they were able to get the car to me pretty quickly and I couldn't be happier with it.

I decided to go with AmeriFreight because of Graham and because they could pick up the car the day I wanted it picked up.

I also felt good about the quote they gave me. I had shipped my car prior and I was told that during the summertime it was the peak season. I knew better to negotiate since it wasn’t summertime. Graham talked to me about prices, how it worked and what people would do. Everybody, from Graham to the girl who called me to tell me that they’re coming that day and even the guy who picked up my car, were great.

The driver was cool too and he met me at another location and not at my house because there were restrictions on the road due to the kind of truck that he had. We ended up finding the nearest location to me which was only 10 minutes from my house. I had a really smooth transition. I didn’t have to do any legwork and I just had to sign, agree and pay. I called them three days prior to them picking up the car. It took about a full 10 days and everything was completed.

I filled out something online and then for the first three or four days, we were back and forth with forms to fill out. And then she started looking for someone. But then four days into it, I got called on business, up to Michigan so I told her that I'm not going to be available for a week and that we got to postpone that. When I got back from Michigan, we started again.

Then, she found a driver. And the driver picked the car up here in Cincinnati. We met right off the highway on the street because I know he wouldn't be able to park his rig and that part went well. But he picked it up on a Tuesday and thought he was going to get to Florida on a Thursday, which was fine. By that time, my wife was down there. I didn't think he was going to get it and drive straight down. He only had about half the travel load of the cars and said he was picking up a couple others in Northern Kentucky, right across the river from Cincinnati.

On Friday afternoon, he called us in Florida and said he was there and was gonna drop the car off. We were sitting around but then we never heard back from him. I finally called him Saturday morning and it wasn't until noon that he got it down. I think what happened was he called us and said he was in Vero Beach, which is two hours north of where we were in Palm Beach. But he ended up driving all the way down to Fort Lauderdale, south of us, and then coming back north to Palm Beach and dropping our car off. It didn't really matter to him and we weren't desperate for the car at that point. But it would have been nice if he would have called us.

At first, I am quite worried because they are not keeping in touch with me on the dates that the car is ready for pickup. In the end, it turned out okay. If they can just keep on reassuring the customer that they are doing their part, that they are looking for drivers to pick up my car, it would be much better. Working with the driver was less stressful. He arrived on time and delivered the car. I had a very good experience but it’s not perfect.

We were really happy with AmeriFreight. Graham was nice, but I felt that in some ways we could have been kept up to date a little bit more. It could just be like personality differences but sometimes I felt like once he had my business, now he's like whatever and don't really have to keep up to date. But then yet, I don't know how their system is. I know they have to wait until a bid comes in for a driver. So that seriously could have been it right there. But overall, our experience with AmeriFreight was good. I would recommend them to other people and I would use them again.

I had a car shipped from California to New Jersey. I selected AmeriFreight because they were highly rated, and I had a poor experience with a less expensive company. I paid the higher rate thinking AmeriFreight would provide a good experience. Wrong! I was given an estimate of 5-7 days for the shipping, it took 15. I was told the truck broke down in Arizona. I called AmeriFreight about this matter and received zero help. Avoid shipping a vehicle if you can. If you must ship you should go with the least expensive company because they all give you the runaround.

I was moving to California and went with AmeriFreight to ship my vehicle because I've seen good reviews on the website. I called them and got a quote from one of the guys there. At first, when we were trying to book the transport company, they said that the price would be $645, but it went all the way up to $900. So, the initial quote was okay but then when the actual price came up after the transport, it was a little too much. They said the transport company was asking for that much. My transport organizer was very good. He called me every time he had something available for me. He tried to arrange a deal about three times before we finally got one. The carrier driver was good, too. He was late for one day but it was due to the weather conditions. I'd recommend AmeriFreight to friends.

I moved across the country to Olympia, Washington. I looked online and saw reviews of different freight companies for shipping across the country and it seemed like AmeriFreight's reviews were high and people were satisfied. They also offered me the lowest quote for our vehicle. Unfortunately, I needed the vehicle there at a busy time and crossing the country right after Christmas was tough to get a carrier, so the price was significantly more than the amount that I was quoted. I also needed to repeatedly call and make sure that they were still on the lookout for carriers.

I mostly interacted with one of two drivers that were crossing the country with my vehicle, and they were really friendly. It was the same person I spoke to in Boston and in Olympia, Washington and I felt like I was interacting with a real person, which is nice. Overall I was satisfied with the service I received from AmeriFreight. I had a few individual personal items in the car that were allowed and those were untouched.

It turned out okay but there was a huge glitch on the first day when it was supposed to be delivered. AmeriFreight had trouble crossing the bridge. They couldn't get to the house to deliver on that day so they tried to make other arrangements. They tried to get us to go to a different location about 30 minutes away to get the car. So it wasn't picked up the day it was supposed to be picked up. Then the following morning, the agent or the rep that I was working with made the arrangements and picked up next day. He corrected the error quickly so I will give him credit for that. But it was not picked up as originally planned. It was a huge inconvenience for the folks on the other side in New Jersey that were loading the car. We were lucky to have extra days and they were able to accommodate the next day. It should have been handled a little bit better initially.

I've used AmeriFreight three times prior to this one so I don't know why this happened this time. If there are going to be restrictions, they should let us know pretty much up front. I don't know who's responsible for picking the route where humongous vehicles can and can't get to. When the broker picks a freight company, they pick the people who know what they're doing. I know that there shouldn't be that kind of a glitch.

But other than that, the price was decent so I went with it. She said that she would contact me when a potential supplier has gotten in touch with them. And she did that within the time frame that she gave me. Then she got me in touch with the company. Where I was living, it wasn't convenient for the company to come straight to my location. So, it was a little bit annoying to meet them about five miles from where I live.

But apart from that, the pick up was relatively smooth. And they dropped off the car a week before they said they would, which is great but I wasn't prepared to receive the car at that time. So, I had to inconvenience some family friends to get the car picked up. I had to do some 4:00 in the morning calls to bank because the money order that I mailed wasn't gonna get there in time to pay the driver. So, I had to do debit card purchase over the phone, which I hate to do because of the security risk.

AmeriFreight was the only company that was straightforward and told me how the pricing and everything worked out. It’s descriptive compared to some of the other companies that gave false pricing. Their initial quote was right where it needed to be and that's why I chose them. I did the free quote and then the organizer sent me an e-mail and called me. We talked about the appraisal, the costing and how much everything was and we came to an agreement on pricing. After that was done, he told me how long it's going to take for the bid to be on the internet for the truckers to bid on and the price may change depending on how everything works out. During the time period, we had the holidays so the availability for truckers could be a part of the price change.

But after that happened, he called me and said that an offer was accepted and he kept in touch with me as the car was being processed and picked up. Their customer service and the representatives on site are very nice and informative. Their response was quick but the whole process took a little bit longer because I was trying to find all the right pricing. I was given a car by a family member in Maryland, and I needed to transport it to Utah. I requested estimates from several companies with very good reviews. All of the companies provided me with estimates around $1200 except for AmeriFreight; their estimate was $985. I decided to go with AmeriFreight because price was my major consideration, and they had great reviews. I signed up with AmeriFreight over the phone, and provided my debit card number. I also agreed to their terms over the phone, and through their website. I worked with Graham **, and he emailed me a document with several attachments, which, foolishly, I did not read before agreeing to their terms. I agreed to an 8.75% convenience fee to have them pay the driver on my behalf, and also signed up for optional gap coverage for $98. The terms state that they can go up to $300 over the amount of the estimate.

I asked Graham how much I could reasonably expect to pay on our call, and it was determined that it would likely be around $1200, about the same price as the other companies. I found out after signing up with AmeriFreight and providing my debit card number that AmeriFreight had been paying their customers to leave positive reviews. I saw an alert on the BBB website. I did not try to back out because at that point I did not believe that I could without paying a hefty fee. I gave AmeriFreight 1/30/2017 until the end of February to find a driver, and have the car delivered. I was also told that I had 12 hours to respond when they found a driver, which was important because I needed to coordinate with the family member in Maryland who gave me the car. As it turned out, I needed to respond immediately, and this was a huge inconvenience.

I finally told AmeriFreight that the pickup would have to be on a Saturday, and they are able to accommodate me with this. I ended up paying $1410 in total, which was a lot more than I had anticipated, but I realize now that it was within their terms. AmeriFreight lost my debit card number, and I had to provide it again, but AmeriFreight assured me that my card number was secure. I really hope that it is! They found the driver on a Thursday, the pickup was that Saturday, and I was told that my car should be delivered that Wednesday or Thursday. My car was delivered Tuesday 2/14/2017 around 7:30 am, which I am very happy about. The driver was Ramaz Trans Inc, and my contact was Teona. She kept me informed the entire time. When my car was delivered, the driver did not fully unload the car when he had me sign the bill of lading.

I wish now that I had insisted that he completely unload it so that I could inspect it beforehand, but I have not noticed any damage. The car was transported in an open carrier, and was absolutely filthy when I got it. AmeriFreight was adamant that I had to have my own insurance on the car, even though I didn't own it when it was transported. My advice if you decide to go with AmeriFreight is to read all of the documents before agreeing to anything, and to ask a lot of questions. AmeriFreight is a broker, and I was told that the broker fee on my order was around $400, which I was told was included in the amount of my original estimate . AmeriFreight told me that the driver asked for an additional $215, and that is why the cost increased. I really wish that I had understood the fees fully before I signed up. I agreed to leave honest reviews once my order was completed, and I was not compensated to leave this review.

I was getting ready to move out of State and sending a vehicle. When I went online, I selected several companies to receive a quote and I got an online quote and a call back from AmeriFreight that was very low, initially. The rep said that it was just an initial rate and no one would have ever taken it for that. With the more real one, it was $560 and I ended up paying $980. I'm a little pissed about that.

The other thing that really was a little frustrating was I gave them a specific time frame. I wasn't absolutely set on a date that it needed to be picked up. I said if they can, to pick it up anytime between Saturday and Wednesday and if it's after Wednesday, I'm out of town for two weeks. I didn't hear anything until the day before I planned to leave. I finally emailed them and said I guess no one was coming to pick up my car. Then I got an email that said they were not able to find someone but they've got their dispatcher working on it.

A couple of days later, they came back and wanted to pick the vehicle up. The rep said he found a carrier that'll pick it up on Friday, and I said I already told him I'd be out of town. I told him that my window was my window and that was when I needed it done. Then he asked me to send an email with my dates of availability. And when I did that, they still tried to book it under the wrong date. The rep called me and I said I sent the email and my dates of availability. He said he didn't know why his dispatcher didn't look at that, and that he was sorry, and they would get back to me.

They ended up having to delay until I got back. The front-end contact was incredible. The guy was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He was helpful and gave me lots of information. But his tone changed once I signed the contract. It was just like Jekyll and Hyde. It wasn't that he was rude but it was a tone change that I definitely picked up on, like now he's got me and he doesn't really care. I was unhappy about it. They ended up finding a carrier. I don't know if they gave me the wrong number for the carrier or if they brokered it off from there, but I did try to reach the carrier at the time to make arrangements on what time they were going to be coming and I got a different transportation company that answered the phone. It was a weird voicemail, so I just let it go and waited.

Eventually, the driver called me and that went fine. So the whole carry of the vehicle, pick-up, and delivery was perfect and very timely.

I enjoyed my experience with Amerifreight, with one exception. I did not know that they only provided one ramp per move. I had two trailers. And so, I thought I would get two ramps, one for each trailer. They said the ramp comes with the trailer. I only got one trailer at a time when I loaded the lawn mower and I need two ramps load a Zero Turn lawn mower. When I talked to them about having it both come out the same time, so that I would have both ramps to unload it, they said no. So I had this big, monstrous lawnmower on there with no way to get it off. They said, "Oh well, it's a liability issue. We don't want you to put lawnmowers on there." And I told them, "It's already on there. I got to get it off somehow."

So my son devised a homemade ramp which was even much more of a liability issue than if I had to have their very safe ramp. I was told by one of the people that I talked to that she had encountered the same problem with a couple of other customers who were expecting two ramps and who had a lawnmower issue. In the end, I used a ramp that the neighbor had, so other than that, it was a very good experience and I thought, both trailers cost me $3,700. They were filled to the brim and I couldn't have asked for any better pricing. I would recommend them, but with some warnings about the ramp issue. And I have already, to other friends who were moving.

This template of service seems to be dying in all segments yet, it is great to see some actually doing what they offer. Thanks again for everything.

I started with an online quote and right away they gave me a good quote and an order number that I could reference. It had a guy's name and a phone number on it. He was really easily accessible, answered emails promptly, and answered his phone when I called. If he didn't answer the phone, he did get right back to me. It was very good. He was very helpful and explained the whole process, insurance, how they did and how they quote. From the initial quote to the delivery of the car, it took a week. I saw many good feedback online about AmeriFreight so I decided to go for them. At the very beginning I was given a quote of $800 and that was really cheap. But, I found out late that was just the initial quote and they still had to find a carrier and it might go over that. I ended up paying about $1,400 which is a lot more but I had no choice because at the end I had to do it anyway. The whole process went very well. I just gave my address for the pick up location and the delivery location. They showed up exactly on time with the exact kind of carrier and everything was done properly.

The only thing that really put me down was the price. It was during Christmas and New Years but if I knew in advance it was not going to be $800, I probably would have never gone for it because I could easily rent something from U-Haul or from Penske for the dolly which I could pull my car myself when I drove to California so I didn't have to pay twice that. Nonetheless I am satisfied and I would still recommend them.

I checked AmeriFreight out and asked them for a quote estimate, and initially, the sum they quoted was less, $1800, and I said that I was okay with that. However, on the second day, AmeriFreight called and told me that they had contacted the transport company and now had the exact quote of $2000. They asked me if I was okay with that, and I agreed as I was in a hurry. They gave us the Bulldog Trucking Company.

I asked for a closed truck, but they gave an open one instead. They clearly said that they would take the vehicle on Monday but they didn't come then and I got a call telling me that they were not coming on Monday due to some issues. They said that they would come on Tuesday but they came on Thursday. They picked the vehicle up and delivered it on the same day, as they had committed. The car was old already so it doesn't matter that it was on an open truck, but I got my vehicle on the committed time. It was a really good service.

AmeriFreight's price that we were quoted was a bit better so we got them when we moved. However, it didn’t end up being that way. They quoted us six something, with the understanding that it would potentially go up from $50 to $100, but I wasn’t expecting it to go up to $200. I just wished they quoted us a little higher so that we would’ve been able to prepare for it a little bit better. Also, we were told that our vehicle will be picked up on a Wednesday, but their driver ended up picking it up on Friday and it took about a week to get it out here. Then the phone number that we were given was for the company and not for the driver that we should be directly in touch with. So we kept calling the number but their rep apologized and got us the driver’s number.

On the other hand, their transport organizer was great and she's really nice on the phone. We didn’t ever have any altercations. She was very sweet, very helpful and did the best that she could from her end. Their driver was great too. He called us several times to let us know where he was. It was in LA, so he was stuck in traffic. He was really kind and went over everything when he dropped our vehicle. Apart from taking almost a month to get someone to book a shipper and pick it up, and being quoted differently, everybody was great, really kind and sweet.

Ali ** quoted me a fair price, and warned me that due to the Christmas holiday and the delivery location (Idaho), it might take until after the New Year before she found a driver to pick up my car. She was right - the car was picked up right after the New Year. But in the interim, she called me on a couple of occasions just to let me know that the order was still pending and that she was still confident that the car would be picked up shortly. I appreciated the updates.

When I placed the order, Ali very helpfully stayed online with me to ensure that I clicked all the right boxes and filled out all the forms correctly. My car was picked up in Dallas on a Friday afternoon by Nick. He stayed in good contact with me via cellphone so we could arrange a good pick-up site that suited both of us, and so I could plan my schedule accordingly. He called me about a day and a half out, a day out, five hours out, and then 40 minutes out. The car was delivered on Monday evening. When we got the bid from the mover, I was in a position where I didn't have any other choice. I needed to get the vehicle moved, granted it was winter time and it was an acceptable amount, but I thought it was a little higher than what it should have been. If someone would have come in and said they wanted $2,000, then I wouldn’t have done it. I would have told them to keep looking. But I needed to get that vehicle here and so I ended up paying a little more than I thought I would.

They don't have a lot of impact over what a mover is going to bid but they did their job. The agent that I worked with did a good job. They were very responsive to all my calls and emails. However, there were a couple of times where the mover was supposed to pick up the vehicle but didn't show up. But when the vehicle is sitting at a dealer, waiting for people to come and the driver doesn't show up, then the problem is not the broker but the hauler. But then again, it's in the middle of winter. There's not a lot of people going across the United States in the dead of winter.

I received no communication and zero confidence from them that they could find a carrier.

After asking Lecia what she recommended or what she would do in my situation she said she would not ship a car and drive it instead... Again zero confidence in this company. Very frustrated that my time was wasted and I have to rent a car longer until I can get my car shipped. I decided to go with an actual moving company and pay a little more for a guaranteed pick up date. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMERIFREIGHT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I had used AmeriFreight several years ago. I was satisfied then and came away satisfied this time as well when I shipped a vehicle from Atlanta to New York. Everything was fine about the entire transaction. I had recommended them and would use them again.

I was moving across country so I needed to ship my vehicle. The quote I was given was great but the fact that it changed wasn't. They said that they had it listed for a couple of weeks and nobody was biting so if I wanted any success, they would have to increase the price. The interactions with the carrier driver were poor. He called and said they were ready to deliver my vehicle and I said okay since they had the address. Then he called back and said, "Oh yeah, remember it's cash on delivery." And I said, "No, it's AmeriFreight and they pay you."

Five minutes later, I got a call from his dispatcher saying that he wasn't going to deliver my car that night because he was going to deliver something else but I think they wanted some cash. So he said that he would deliver my vehicle between 9:00 and 10:00 the next day and at 9:00 I heard nothing. I gave them phone calls and left both of them a message and heard nothing back. At 11:00 I called both the dispatcher and driver and left them messages and decided to call AmeriFreight and I couldn't even get a voicemail and my call kept getting disconnected. Finally the dispatcher called me and said that they would be there in about a half hour. When the half hour came and went, I called them and I was told they'd be there in five minutes. Finally my car did arrive, about a half hour after and the guy tried to get me to give him cash again. For that experience, I wasn't very pleased with them.

I needed a vehicle shipped, and since I have used AmeriFreight in the past, I used them again. I had a very good interaction with the transport organizer, and the quote they gave me was okay. Everything went real smooth. In fact, they delivered the vehicle ahead of schedule. There are a lot of bad carriers and brokers out there, but AmeriFreight was pretty good.

We moved from Connecticut to Colorado so we needed to ship our vehicles. My husband looked online and chose AmeriFreight because it was the cheapest. When their transport organizer first scheduled the shipping, it sounded like it was going to be great. He said he would give me a call in a day or two and then almost a week later, I had to call him to ask him what was going on. It was a little bit frustrating. They should be a little more proactive with contacting their customers. If they say they’re going to call them, they should do that. Nevertheless, their driver was awesome. He either answered the phone or called us back every time we called him and he was very responsive. He came even though it was snowing so he was great.

We are brokers and we're purchasing vehicles to export to friends. I had three quotes from Amerifreight and I only used one. At the end, the price turned out to be $50 or $75 higher than what I was expecting. Other than that, they offer a great service. They're personalized and they take care of you.

I bought a truck in Pennsylvania and I live in North Carolina. I googled reviews and AmeriFreight had an excellent review rating. The organizer called, told me how the process worked, set it up for me, and the quote I received was very accurate. When the transaction was completed, the organizer contacted me via email.

Everybody I spoke to in AmeriFreight was great. They're very straightforward, friendly and helpful and were able to give me a good price when we had them move our vehicle out of state. It was a quick process as well. They took the car Sunday and it was at the location by Wednesday and they were in contact. It was a very easy experience.

We needed shipping for business and I felt more secure with AmeriFreight. Their quote was all right however, they didn’t explain it properly to make me understand what I was going to pay. It was a little higher from what I understood. I asked questions but my questions didn’t make me totally understand it. Nevertheless, I felt very comfortable with everything except that I wish I understood the price because I paid $100 more than I was expecting to pay.

We were shipping the vehicle to my daughter in Boston because we were selling it to her. I did some internet searches and AmeriFreight came up with high reviews rating. Their quote was very reasonable too. Their reps were very helpful, friendly, polite and accurate in the information they gave us. They also kept in touch with us clearly through e-mails and phone calls to make sure that the transaction was going smoothly and I was aware of what was going to happen. They followed up afterwards to see if I was happy with the service I received. It’s a perfectly fast and well organized transaction and if I had to do it again, I would ship with them again just from the experience of it being so easy. I see no need to research other people. They have great price and it was an excellent experience. It was all very reliably and professionally handled.

I moved out to Los Angeles and I needed my car. I went with AmeriFreight because the quote they gave me was significantly cheaper than everybody. Their carriers were nice. However, they said the quote was gonna be $730 but I ended up paying $840. It wasn't the closest but it was still a good price in comparison to other places. But I wish it was the $730.

I promised a Jeep to my grandson who's in the army at Fort Bragg, and rather than driving it, we had AmeriFreight ship it to him. I expected the quote to be a little lower, but it was in the ballpark where I was expecting to pay. The arrangement for the pick-up was quick. When I spoke to the organizer on the phone, I told him I was ready to ship. He called me within a day and said they had a carrier for me and that day the carrier made the pick-up. I also saw on the website that I got a discount because I was a veteran and I took advantage of it.

I felt a lot of their stuff in their website answered a lot of questions I had and I felt comfortable using them. It was also flawless and amazing interacting with the transport organizer. The quote they gave me was right on and was exactly what they said it was. So I was happy with that, too. I also expected a little trouble, like somebody’s going to be late but they arrived faster than they said they would. It was a simple process with them and they did a good job.

I sold my vehicle to somebody who's from a different state, so I needed to ship it. AmeriFreight had good reviews, and I also talked to a person who seemed to help me get a better price. Their transport organizers were really good. However, it took a little longer and I had to push a little bit to get something set up that was close to the price quoted. Other than that, it's all good and I'd recommend them.
